00:00:30.000 Because today is a day that ends in Y, we have another race hoax, another hate hoax.
00:00:38.000 This one, two days after we were told that the NASCAR is completely racist.
00:00:44.240 Yes, that's right.
00:00:45.680 The most popular race car company in the country is full of a bunch of Klansmen.
00:00:51.920 They found a noose, a threatening noose by the car of Bubba Wallace,
00:00:58.560 a race car driver who just happened to be wearing a t-shirt that supported Black Lives Matter.
00:01:04.320 And after an FBI investigation, I kid you not, they brought the FBI in on this.
00:01:09.440 Turns out it was all completely fake.
00:01:11.580 NASCAR released a statement.
00:01:12.520 The FBI has completed its investigation at Talladega Super Speedway and determined that Bubba Wallace was not the target of a hate crime.
00:01:20.240 The FBI report concludes, photographic evidence confirms that the garage door pull rope,
00:01:25.220 fashioned like a noose, had been positioned there since as early as last fall.
00:01:29.820 Well, we appreciate the FBI's quick and thorough investigation.
00:01:32.800 We didn't need the investigation.
00:01:33.960 Any reasonable person knew immediately that this was completely fake.
00:01:37.360 And yet the people keep pretending that it's real.
00:01:40.580 What is this about?
00:01:41.440 Is it just NASCAR?
00:01:43.180 Is it just the media?
00:01:45.200 Is it just entertainment?
00:01:46.280 No, it's all of it.
00:01:47.980 It's liberalism itself.
00:01:49.860 Liberalism, which must constantly be overcoming the oppressive past into the new, wonderful, glorious future.
00:01:57.260 Well, what happens when you run out of oppressors?
00:01:59.620 You've got to make them up.
00:02:01.140 It goes way beyond the NASCAR.
00:02:03.700 We are living in make-believe America.
00:02:05.360 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:02:06.380 This is the Michael Knowles Show.
00:02:15.600 Make-believe America is much wider than just one sports league or much wider than just one occupied zone of Seattle.
00:02:24.260 It's spreading everywhere.
00:02:25.400 We're all playing cops and robbers over here.
00:02:28.760 We had a race hoax in NASCAR.
00:02:31.000 Seems like we have race hoaxes all the time.
00:02:32.880 Actually, the way that I knew that Bubba Wallace was not giving us the whole story is because he managed to hold his subway sandwich the whole time while they were investigating his race car.
00:02:41.340 You know, when you hold that subway sandwich, that just shows you something about this race attack.
00:02:46.880 Not quite real.
00:02:47.900 But that was not the only one.
00:02:49.300 There was another attack that went viral earlier today of a man accosting some woman in her car, reducing her to tears.
00:02:57.780 She became very hysterical.
00:03:00.300 And this now went around the Internet with this woman being smeared as a racist.
00:03:05.460 But I think people are drawing the opposite conclusion from what we really saw.
00:03:09.200 So the setup is that this woman targeted this man.
00:03:12.280 She was racist toward him, whatever that means.
00:03:15.100 And so he gets in her face with the camera.
00:03:17.500 Okay, so here's the setup.
00:03:44.780 Obviously, this woman is having a hysterical meltdown, but this guy is causing the hysterical meltdown.
00:03:50.660 What he's saying is you flip me off in the road, which is something that happens virtually every time anybody goes out driving, right?
00:03:56.460 Someone will flip you off or honk the horn or that's in the nature of driving.
00:04:01.240 It's call it road rage, call it whatever.
00:04:02.900 It's perfectly normal.
00:04:04.060 It's not some racial incident.
00:04:06.320 And so he follows this woman home.
00:04:08.840 She pulls into her driveway, pulls in behind her, gets out and gets a camera in her face.
00:04:12.700 That is very bad behavior.
00:04:16.100 That is, forget it's not chivalrous behavior.
00:04:19.500 That is aggressive, creepy.
00:04:24.100 Like if anyone ever did that to my wife, then we're going to have more than a YouTube video to worry about kind of behavior.
00:04:30.520 And yet he's being portrayed as the victim here.
00:04:33.060 And he even admits, what's he worried about?
00:04:35.260 He's upset because she flipped him off.
00:04:37.340 And so now he's in her face and she's freaking out.
00:04:39.620 Now, why is she freaking out?
00:04:40.500 She might just be a hysterical woman, but I think she's probably freaking out because she knows how this goes.
00:04:46.560 How this has been going for the past few weeks is you have a viral internet video out of context accusing some white person of committing a racism.
00:04:56.700 And whether there's evidence for it or not, that person's life is ruined and the accuser faces no consequences at all.
00:05:01.960 He actually, ironically, uses a racial epithet.
00:05:04.160 It's kind of a funny racial epithet.
00:05:05.340 It's one that everyone is using in popular culture now, Karen.
00:05:08.280 But Karen does have a racial quality to it in that it very specifically refers to a busybody white woman.
00:05:14.760 So he is getting in her face.
00:05:16.900 Imagine this.
00:05:17.500 Imagine what a degenerate man you would have to be to have a woman becoming hysterical in front of you.
00:05:22.800 A woman that you don't know and you follow her home and get in her face and yell insults at her.
00:05:27.760 What a sick degenerate pervert you've got to be to do that.
00:05:31.160 So he keeps this up.
00:05:32.660 She keeps freaking out and having this meltdown.
00:05:35.420 And then he goes one step further.
00:05:37.020 He decides to dox the woman.
00:05:39.160 I'm a...
00:05:39.500 Karen, are you okay?
00:05:42.400 You don't understand what's happened.
00:05:44.160 Can you explain to me calmly?
00:05:45.740 No, because you're attacking me right now.
00:05:47.980 I'm not attacking you.
00:05:49.200 Ma'am, you flicked me off.
00:05:50.940 You're ready to take it.
00:05:52.480 Guys, this is her license plate number.
00:05:54.300 She lives here.
00:05:55.180 This is her address.
00:05:56.560 This is not true.
00:05:58.420 No, we're ready.
00:05:59.380 Karen, you flipped me off.
00:06:00.740 You cut me off and flipped me off.
00:06:04.080 And now you're playing the victim.
00:06:06.000 Ma'am, would you like to calm down?
00:06:07.660 No, you're attacking me right now.
00:06:10.200 Guys, she flipped me off.
00:06:12.240 She literally clipped me off.
00:06:13.800 And then she tried to come home.
00:06:15.760 She's carrying...
00:06:17.160 Karen, would you like to calm down and have a conversation?
00:06:19.460 Why are you...
00:06:19.980 Okay, he actually is attacking her here.
00:06:23.120 I know it doesn't quite seem that way.
00:06:24.840 And she's obviously becoming very hysterical.
00:06:27.140 She's becoming hysterical for good reason.
00:06:28.640 The people who show up in these videos get their lives ruined.
00:06:31.500 And what he is saying, like, here's her license plate.
00:06:33.240 Here's where she lives is, come get her.
00:06:35.160 Come get her, mob.
00:06:38.100 It would be much less threatening if he just punched her in the face and walked away.
00:06:41.920 Or like that man in New York threw a firecracker on a homeless person.
00:06:45.380 It would actually be less threatening.
00:06:46.920 Because what he's saying here is, here's where she is.
00:06:48.640 Here's where you can find her.
00:06:49.400 Even when she's in a car, you can find her.
00:06:50.940 And you can ruin her life.
00:06:51.900 So I actually think, I like to think I would not react in that way.
00:06:56.080 But it's perfectly understandable that she is.
00:06:58.260 Just judging from this incident, this guy is a sick degenerate.
00:07:02.620 And I don't know if there are laws against what he's doing, where he is.
00:07:06.980 Doxing is against the law in many states.
00:07:09.080 But if there aren't laws, then there should be laws.
00:07:11.560 And this guy should be punished for what he did.
00:07:13.580 Then you Google him and you find out, this guy, it's all a setup.
00:07:17.600 This wasn't because she flipped him off or anything.
00:07:21.060 He hates white people, apparently.
00:07:22.860 His Twitter handle is, why people hate.
00:07:26.140 Why people hate, right?
00:07:27.580 Get it?
00:07:28.660 His name is Carlos Dillard.
00:07:30.460 He's pulled this stunt before.
00:07:31.660 He's accused people basically of racism before.
00:07:33.460 He's tried to go viral.
00:07:34.360 He considers himself an entertainer and a comedian and an actor and all sorts of things.
00:07:38.760 He's got all these websites on the internet.
00:07:40.380 And he doesn't have a big following at all.
00:07:41.960 But he's trying to go viral on Twitter.
00:07:43.340 And I guess he did.
00:07:44.580 I guess he did.
00:07:45.780 And he got what he wanted because we're talking about it.
00:07:47.600 But of course, we're talking about it because it trended.
00:07:49.720 That's what we are creating in this culture is make-believe.
00:07:54.920 There isn't racial bigotry going on all over the place.
00:07:59.560 It just isn't happening.
00:08:00.620 There isn't a villain.
00:08:01.720 There isn't an oppressor.
00:08:03.080 And so degenerates like Carlos Dillard have to make it up.
00:08:07.340 We're all making it up in this culture.
00:08:08.940 I don't even mean just to single out him.
00:08:10.920 I want to single him out because he behaved horribly and should be punished by the law for it.
00:08:15.360 But it's beyond him.
00:08:17.000 It's the whole culture.
00:08:17.780 We should all rewrite, reset our culture.
00:08:22.340 And yet that's not happening anytime soon.
00:08:24.120 In fact, we're going even further.
00:08:26.780 We're now canceling Eskimo pies.
00:08:28.540 You know Eskimo pies, delicious frozen treat?
00:08:30.800 They're gone.
00:08:31.660 They're gone.
00:08:32.460 We'll get to that in one second.
00:08:33.740 We'll get to why they're gone.
00:08:34.680 We'll get to why it's so crazy that they're gone.
00:08:36.000 First, I got to thank our friends over at Eero.
00:08:38.400 Eero is a solution to a problem that I have had.
00:08:44.840 I'm sure you have had too.
00:08:46.800 There's that one spot in your house that's got really good Wi-Fi.
00:08:50.620 There's that one spot in your house that has terrible Wi-Fi.
00:08:52.860 I think we all have it.
00:08:54.360 It's so frustrating.
00:08:55.620 Eero fixes the problem.
00:08:56.780 Eero is Wi-Fi that your home deserves.

00:09:54.860 Eskimo pie is gone.
00:09:56.840 You can't get an Eskimo pie anymore.
00:09:58.940 You might be able to get the delicious treat, but it won't be called an Eskimo pie.
00:10:01.940 Why?
00:10:02.280 The company that produces it just stated, declared,
00:10:06.420 we are committed to being a part of the solution on racial equality.
00:10:09.920 We recognize that the term Eskimo is derogatory.
00:10:13.320 This move is part of a larger review to ensure our company and brands reflect our people values.
00:10:20.040 So the premise here is that Eskimo is a derogatory term.
00:10:26.980 It's a slur.
00:10:28.460 But it's not.
00:10:29.640 It's not.
00:10:30.260 I just Googled it.
00:10:31.920 I guess the CEO of the Nestle company didn't have time to Google this, but I had time to Google this.
00:10:36.860 As a matter of etymology, right, the root of this word, the word Eskimo comes from the Inuaymun word Eskimu, meaning a person who laces a snowshoe.
00:10:51.400 It does not have a pejorative meaning in origin.
00:10:54.580 Even Wikipedia admits it does not have a pejorative meaning in origin.
00:10:58.080 It's just some white liberals who decided that they would be offended on behalf of Eskimos, just like it was white liberals who decided to get offended on behalf of Native Americans and demanded that the Washington Redskins change their name, even though the Washington Redskins, nine out of 10 Native Americans surveyed, don't care about the Washington Redskins name.
00:11:19.460 Just like it was primarily white liberals pushing to cancel Aunt Jemima, a black character portrayed by a black model created by a black comedian.
00:11:28.080 We're all just playing make-believe.
00:11:32.000 Now, not all of the examples of make-believe America are so frivolous.
00:11:37.080 You thought, when you were looking over at Seattle, you thought that those idiots in Chaz Chop, Soy Malia, you thought that they were just one-off weirdos.
00:11:47.140 They're not.
00:11:48.200 It's not just this strange social experiment happening within a six-block radius of Seattle.
00:11:55.040 It's spreading.
00:11:55.740 Chaz Chop is bi-coastal now.
00:11:58.620 The LARP, the live-action role play, is spreading.
00:12:01.640 We now have Chaz, and we have Bahaz.
00:12:05.220 No, Blaz.
00:12:06.060 That's what it is.
00:12:06.720 Blaz.
00:12:07.900 No, Bahaz.
00:12:08.780 That's what it is.
00:12:09.220 It's very hard to keep all of it because they keep changing their name, too, but I think it currently is Bahaz, the Black House Autonomous Zone.
00:12:16.620 And the Black House Autonomous Zone is all the way in Washington, D.C., right across the way from the White House.
00:12:25.040 They've now taken over and vandalized that historic church, St. John's Church, that President Trump walked over to and held the Bible up.
00:12:31.580 They've vandalized it now.
00:12:32.720 They've sprayed their name, B-H-A-Z, on the church, and they are running roughshod over law and order there with total impunity.
00:12:42.940 You now have examples in this area of the rioters, I'm sorry, the peaceful protesters, screaming at the cops.
00:12:53.620 And the screams have a racial overtone to them.
00:12:57.460 So in one example, you have a Black man yelling at a Black woman, saying very insulting things.
00:13:05.000 The Black man is a rioter.
00:13:06.600 The Black woman is a police officer.
00:13:09.200 Take a listen to this disgusting diatribe.
00:13:12.940 You still want a mask, sis.
00:13:13.800 That's it.
00:13:14.180 You want a mask?
00:13:17.080 Call me.
00:13:17.480 Okay.
00:13:18.000 I try to get her.
00:13:18.980 Her ancestors are upset with her.
00:13:21.060 She needs to have a whole self-internal work being done.
00:13:24.560 She needs to work through that trauma that has her out here, that internalized trauma.
00:13:30.500 All Black guys matter.
00:13:32.920 You know, your ancestors got to be upset with you right now, sis.
00:13:37.160 If you want some real ones, you can remember that.
00:13:41.280 So as this dirtbag is spewing this bile at this woman, you can see she's just kind of
00:13:49.140 taking it, but she doesn't seem happy.
00:13:50.720 It doesn't seem like she's having a nice time.
00:13:52.880 And this is a common theme I see with all these leftist protests, is it's these dirtbag
00:13:57.640 men saying vile things to women because, I guess, worries about sexism have gone totally
00:14:03.720 out the window.
00:14:05.060 And they have gone out the window.
00:14:06.240 They've gone out the window in part, actually, because of feminism, because of this idea that
00:14:10.840 men and women are exactly the same, and so men shouldn't treat women in any sort of special
00:14:14.460 way.
00:14:15.120 Well, they don't.
00:14:16.140 They get violent with them.
00:14:17.120 They say disgusting things to them.
00:14:18.880 They follow them to where they park their cars in their driveway and film them.
00:14:22.200 It's disgusting, disgusting stuff.
00:14:25.160 But it takes on an even weirder racial element when in the name, they can't do two things
00:14:28.620 at once.
00:14:28.940 They can't fight sexism and racism.
00:14:30.560 They got to, I guess they have to pick.
00:14:31.700 It's a little schizophrenic.
00:14:33.040 But then in the name of fighting racism, you now have white leftists screaming at black
00:14:39.840 cops in defense of black people who they're screaming at.
00:14:45.420 Take a listen.
00:14:45.800 I have a question for you.
00:14:51.760 You're white and you're telling this to two black police officers.
00:14:55.080 Yeah.
00:14:55.960 Do you see the problem with that a little bit?
00:14:57.600 No, I don't.
00:14:58.720 Because you know what?
00:14:59.660 Just because I'm white and I haven't experienced racism myself doesn't mean I can't fight for
00:15:04.240 justice.
00:15:04.940 They're a part of the system.
00:15:06.600 They're a part of the problem.
00:15:07.860 Just because they're black doesn't mean they're not a part of the problem.
00:15:10.580 I'm allowed to say this to whoever.
00:15:12.900 Because I'm white.
00:15:13.680 Racism is a white person's problem.
00:15:16.620 Racism is my problem.
00:15:18.420 I need to fix it.
00:15:19.920 That's why I'm here talking to all of them.
00:15:22.400 Black, white, brown, purple.
00:15:25.660 So speaking of hysterical women, obviously her argument doesn't make a lot of sense because
00:15:30.680 they keep moving the goalposts.
00:15:32.020 At one point, we're told white people are not allowed to say anything about this.
00:15:34.860 Then we're told that this woman says basically only white people in this situation should say
00:15:39.740 anything about it.
00:15:40.720 And we should listen to black people.
00:15:41.780 But then she says we shouldn't listen to those black people.
00:15:44.420 And the key here, I think, is autonomous.
00:15:49.800 You hear it's the autonomous zone in Seattle.
00:15:52.340 It's the autonomous zone in Washington.
00:15:55.040 This is why I think it has to do with liberalism itself.
00:15:59.820 We all want to be autonomous.
00:16:02.140 Liberalism, you're always liberating yourself from the oppressive past.
00:16:05.180 You're becoming more and more autonomous.
00:16:06.820 And we are now, we've become so liberated, so autonomous, we've liberated ourselves from
00:16:12.560 ourselves.
00:16:13.540 So this woman can say with a straight face that she is speaking to the black experience
00:16:18.140 in America with greater knowledge than the black people that she's screaming at.
00:16:23.360 That we need an autonomous zone within Washington, D.C., which is a federal zone within the United
00:16:30.320 States.
00:16:31.480 Pretty soon, we're going to have an autonomous zone within an autonomous zone.
00:16:34.320 Actually, we already do.
00:16:35.280 We have an autonomous zone within the autonomous zones, which are the segregated zones, which
00:16:38.900 they're now doing on the basis of race.
00:16:41.180 There is no limit to that.
00:16:42.800 There will be no limit to the victim groups.
00:16:47.380 This is why as intersectionality has progressed on the left, you've seen it's gone from gay
00:16:52.520 to gay and lesbian, to gay, lesbian, and bisexual, to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, to LGBTQ.
00:16:59.120 Then there's a Q for queer or questioning.
00:17:01.140 That's LGBTQIA, LMNOP.
00:17:03.540 It goes on.
00:17:04.180 There's no limit.
00:17:05.160 This is why with gender, it's gone from men and women to men and women and intersex to men
00:17:10.220 and women and intersex and transgender to men and women to 56 genders.
00:17:14.820 At least, that was just at last count.
00:17:16.580 Probably there are more now.
00:17:18.600 This will never end.
00:17:20.840 And the more we become autonomous, the more we liberate ourselves, it seems the less relation
00:17:27.260 we have to reality.
00:17:28.500 We've now liberated ourselves into an autonomous fantasy.
00:17:34.400 Is Trump ever going to use force against these people?
00:17:36.400 Is Trump ever going to restore any order to the country?
00:17:38.300 Is Trump ever going to enforce the laws?
00:17:39.580 We'll get to that in one second.
00:17:41.140 First, though, I've got to thank our friends over at Rock Auto.
00:17:45.160 Speaking of doing things yourself and being autonomous, that would be a good place to be
00:17:48.940 a little more autonomous.
00:17:49.840 You don't have to rely on those brick and mortar auto parts stores that never have the parts
00:17:54.380 you need and always charge you too much.
00:17:55.900 They probably order it actually from Rock Auto.
00:17:58.480 Then they just double the price and pass that on to you.
00:18:01.440 You can do that at rockauto.com.
00:18:03.780 They have the lowest prices possible.
00:18:05.840 They don't have constantly changing prices.
00:18:07.660 They're really great.
00:18:08.080 The thing I love about rockauto.com, especially for someone like me, I'm not the most handy
00:18:12.200 guy in the world.
00:18:13.860 Even I can navigate their website, which is a real compliment to Rock Auto.
00:18:18.000 Even I can figure out which parts I want for my car.
00:18:24.140 Rockauto.com.
00:18:25.060 They're a family business too.
00:18:26.160 They've been serving online auto parts customers for 20 years, which is more or less the entire
00:18:32.420 history of the internet.
00:18:34.000 Head on over to rockauto.com right now.
00:18:37.020 See all the parts available for your car or truck.
00:18:40.460 Write Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S, in their How Did You Hear About Us box.
00:18:45.100 That's most important.
00:18:46.160 And then they will know that we sent you, rockauto.com, and enter Knowles in the How Did You Hear
00:18:51.000 About Us.
00:18:52.240 So is Trump going to use force?
00:18:54.300 President Trump has finally come out and said that he will use force against the Black
00:19:00.960 House autonomous zone.
00:19:03.580 He tweeted out, he said, there will never be an autonomous zone in Washington, D.C.
00:19:06.720 as long as I'm your president.
00:19:08.040 If they try, they will be met with serious force.
00:19:10.220 Now, they are trying and they seem to have succeeded.
00:19:12.200 So the question is, is Trump going to use force or not use force?
00:19:14.940 We might not even be able to examine the answer to that question because when Trump tweeted
00:19:19.560 that, Twitter censored the tweet.
00:19:24.140 Notice they're doing this more frequently now.
00:19:26.420 Twitter never censored any tweets.
00:19:28.600 Certainly not.
00:19:29.380 Imagine the audacity to censor a tweet from the president of the United States.
00:19:33.280 But they sent out a little notice after they covered it up.
00:19:36.400 They said, we've placed a public interest notice on this tweet for violating our policy
00:19:40.000 against abusive behavior.
00:19:41.100 Specifically, the presence of a threat of harm against an identifiable group, a threat of
00:19:46.640 harm.
00:19:47.520 Let me translate that for you into English.
00:19:50.320 The top law enforcement official in the United States said he would enforce the law against
00:19:57.280 criminals.
00:19:58.940 And Twitter said that that is abusive and it's a threat of harm against a group and they can't
00:20:05.720 tolerate that.
00:20:06.360 As far as I'm concerned at this point, we should use any civil legal means necessary to shred
00:20:16.000 Twitter's influence in the world.
00:20:18.340 Get rid of it.
00:20:18.940 I know I enjoy Twitter.
00:20:19.740 We all enjoy Twitter.
00:20:20.800 I don't care.
00:20:22.300 Bankrupt them.
00:20:24.320 Break them up.
00:20:25.660 Take away their Section 230 protections.
00:20:27.640 Get rid of them.
00:20:28.420 They are actively harming our country.
00:20:30.720 We all have to be on it as long as it exists because it is the public square.
00:20:34.140 They have a monopoly on the public square, but they shouldn't.
00:20:38.100 We should get rid of that.
00:20:39.040 We cannot.
00:20:39.540 I don't want them to have power.
00:20:41.440 I can't take it anymore with conservatives who say, well, because I'm a conservative,
00:20:46.700 I think we should let some billionaire leftist socialist tech oligarchs control the flow of
00:20:52.600 information around our republic because I'm so conservative.
00:20:55.400 No, I don't think that's very conservative.
00:20:57.560 And I don't think they should get protections that they don't deserve.
00:21:00.000 And I don't think that they should, they should be able to control the public square
00:21:04.360 and that some unelected jerk tech billionaire ought to be able to censor the president of
00:21:10.520 the United States.
00:21:11.700 Now, where did this all come from?
00:21:13.140 It came from a recent action in Lafayette Park, the beginning of the Black House Autonomous
00:21:18.060 Zone, where rioters tried to pull down the famous statue there of Andrew Jackson.
00:21:24.100 So President Trump at this point said, I've authorized the federal government to arrest
00:21:28.080 anyone who vandalizes or destroys any monument, statue, or other such federal property in
00:21:32.360 the U.S. with up to 10 years in prison per the Veterans Memorial Preservation Act or such
00:21:37.200 other laws that may be pertinent.
00:21:38.660 This action is taken effective immediately, but may also be used retroactively for destruction
00:21:43.320 or vandalism already caused.
00:21:44.720 There will be no exceptions.
00:21:46.000 I hope that's true.
00:21:47.180 I hope we can believe that.
00:21:48.280 I hope every single one of these rioters rots in prison for a very long time.
00:21:52.340 The way to stop this kind of madness and violence is to meet it with force.
00:21:58.040 You cannot enforce the law without using force.
00:22:00.960 That's why it's called law enforcement.
00:22:03.520 And right now, I think there's been this game.
00:22:05.780 I mean, actually, the president admitted it in his rally the other day where he said,
00:22:12.420 look, I'm going to let it burn a little bit longer.
00:22:14.200 I'm going to let people see what democratic government looks like.
00:22:17.420 I understand that because one, it means that you don't need to worry about sending in force
00:22:23.000 and having another Kent state on your hands and having people accuse you of killing innocent
00:22:27.220 protesters.
00:22:27.840 I know what the media is going to do.
00:22:30.060 But this argument of, hey, everybody, look at what happens when you elect Democrats
00:22:34.160 is a little too clever by half when a Republican occupies the Oval Office.
00:22:39.380 What's the argument?
00:22:40.260 Elect me, reelect me, and then I'll enforce the law.
00:22:43.520 It doesn't work.
00:22:44.280 Again, I understand why he's doing it, but it doesn't work.
00:22:48.180 I hope he uses force very quickly because if we don't enforce very basic laws and laws
00:22:54.720 where the president actually does have considerable influence, then what are we doing?
00:23:00.440 What are we fighting for?
00:23:01.200 I don't really know.
00:23:02.280 Now, there is a legal route.
00:23:03.920 There is a way out of the LARPing, sort of.
00:23:06.740 There is a way out of the play acting that the left is doing right now.
00:23:10.200 And that was just suggested by the founder of BET, Black Entertainment Television, Robert
00:23:15.220 Johnson, who suggested that BLM become a formal political party.
00:23:22.140 I've been convinced for a long time that 40 million African-Americans who tend to vote
00:23:27.880 as a block in one of the two parties, limit their leverage in getting action from both parties.
00:23:37.020 And I think it's time that African-Americans form an independent party, not be an appendage
00:23:43.540 of one party or ignored by the other party and using their leverage in a democracy to say we stand for things
00:23:54.940 that are principally focused on the interests of the 40 million African-Americans and not have that diluted
00:24:02.420 by trying to be a part of another party where the interests may diverge and oftentimes do diverge.
00:24:11.280 Now, I give this guy a little bit of credit because he's taking the political process much more seriously
00:24:18.100 than just the rioters and the looters.
00:24:20.040 And he's suggesting something more like what we see in Europe, which is instead of having the two main parties,
00:24:25.220 you have lots of little parties and lots of more specific interest groups and they form coalitions
00:24:28.900 and we'll have a multi-party system.
00:24:32.520 I still think it's LARPing, though.
00:24:34.880 I still think it's play acting because what he says here is that you've got black voters and they vote as a block.
00:24:41.480 Either for the Democratic Party or the Republican Party.
00:24:44.100 And that's not true.
00:24:45.460 In so much as black voters vote as a block, they vote for Democrats.
00:24:48.600 They don't vote as a block for Republicans and they haven't in many decades.
00:24:53.220 At one point, they actually did vote heavily for Republicans, but they haven't at least in recent memory.
00:24:59.160 So what you would actually be doing if you created a BLM political party,
00:25:03.380 one, the odds that you actually got buy-in from a significant portion of black voters
00:25:07.120 for a radical party like that, I think, are pretty slim.
00:25:11.080 What you would, in effect, be doing is completely crippling the Democratic Party.
00:25:15.320 If it actually did work, the Democratic Party would fall apart.
00:25:18.460 The Democratic Party needs black voters and they need virtually all the black voters.
00:25:22.400 And if they lose any of them, then they're in serious trouble.
00:25:25.100 So fine by me, you know, if you want to start the BLM party and destroy the Democratic Party,
00:25:29.620 works for me.
00:25:31.480 What this is also presuming is that the Black Lives Matter Party
00:25:34.540 actively represents the majority of black interests.
00:25:37.720 That is not the case.
00:25:38.820 Black Lives Matter does not, does not have very much to do with black lives mattering.
00:25:43.860 Black Lives Matter is primarily ideological, not racial.
00:25:47.080 They are primarily Marxists, trained Marxists.
00:25:49.640 The founders of BLM admit that they are trained Marxists.
00:25:53.300 They admit that they're Marxists in their About Us page on their website.
00:25:56.820 They say that they want to tear down the nuclear family.
00:25:59.000 They call each other comrade and they want to abolish the police.
00:26:01.520 That is not just a racial interest party.
00:26:04.120 That is a radical Marxist party exploiting race for ideological ends.
00:26:09.940 So I don't think that is really going to happen either.
00:26:12.500 And the other reason that it's LARPing is it ties in with the bigger theme that we're
00:26:16.400 talking about all, all the time, which is it, it presumes that there is an anti-black
00:26:21.700 white supremacy at work in America.
00:26:24.200 And that's why you need a black specific political party.
00:26:27.140 And that just isn't the case.
00:26:28.940 It just is not the case.
00:26:30.420 The only de jure racism, the only racism by law that we tolerate, racial discrimination
00:26:35.900 is called affirmative action.
00:26:37.340 And it privileges black and Hispanic and some other racial minorities on things like it
00:26:44.820 being admitted to college or in job applications.
00:26:47.580 And it, it disadvantages white applicants and Asian applicants, which is why Asian students
00:26:52.580 sued Harvard university because they were discriminated against on the basis of their race.
00:26:56.780 That's the only one.
00:26:58.080 That's the only racial discrimination on the books.
00:27:02.600 Look around.
00:27:03.820 They, if there were real incidents of this, then you would see it, but there aren't just a
00:27:10.200 lot of hoaxes all the way to NASCAR, all the way to Jussie Smollier in Chicago and everywhere
00:27:19.380 in between.
00:27:20.600 And so you would be forming a political party over an imaginary problem.
00:27:26.880 That is probably not going to be very successful.
00:27:28.900 And I don't think it's going to happen.
00:27:30.340 Now, there are some racial issues in the country, but the racial issues are mostly occurring when
00:27:38.060 there is racial offense given, it's given by the left and one of the left's darlings.
00:27:43.940 Oh, such a darling.
00:27:44.900 He is Jimmy Kimmel, the toast of Hollywood, the host of awards shows is in trouble because
00:27:50.100 he, uh, impersonated a lot of black actors, darkened his skin and, uh, use the N word
00:27:56.480 on tape and, uh, hosted a show called the man show and, uh, made lots of comments that
00:28:02.920 are now being called, called sexist.
00:28:04.280 He offended a lot of leftist sensibilities.
00:28:06.000 So what did he do?
00:28:09.100 Did he stand firm and say, I'm a comedian, I'm telling jokes and you can't stop me?
00:28:12.660 No, of course he caved to the outrage mob.
00:28:15.060 Is it going to do him very well?
00:28:16.340 Well, we'll see.
00:28:16.880 We'll get into that in one second.
00:28:18.260 We will get into some of the other make believe that we're all playing around in.
00:28:23.900 First though, I've got to thank you.
00:28:26.940 You people have gotten me to finally, even though I got a late start, beat Drew on the
00:28:32.200 YouTube channel subscriber push, not on the Daily Wire YouTube channel.
00:28:36.320 I mean, that's all well and good, but over on my Michael Noles show YouTube channel, I
00:28:40.080 think we're past 75,000.
00:28:41.540 Now, if you wouldn't mind, would appreciate it.
00:28:43.360 If we could get up to 100,000, you can see a lot of fun stuff.
00:28:45.980 We've got breakouts, separate interviews, bonus segments from the show.
00:28:49.100 Also, if you're not already a Daily Wire member, you should consider getting a reader's
00:28:52.320 pass to dailywire.com.
00:28:53.320 Great value, $3 per month, and when you sign up right now, that first month, do you know
00:28:58.360 how much it is?
00:28:59.820 $1.
00:29:00.600 99 cents I'm giving it to you.
00:29:02.360 Get access to the mobile app, articles ad-free, and premium content like this latest one from
00:29:06.180 Drew.
00:29:06.860 Biden is a ventriloquist's dummy, and the press knows it.
00:29:11.240 And that is certainly true.
00:29:12.340 You get a lot of in-depth analysis, election analysis.
00:29:15.080 So head on over to dailywire.com slash subscribe.
00:29:17.600 We'll be right back.
00:29:23.320 Jimmy Kimmel's in trouble.
00:29:32.160 He very famously, when he was hosting The Man Show, put black paint on his face and played
00:29:36.560 Carl Malone.
00:29:37.720 He said the N-word on joke Christmas albums in the 1990s.
00:29:44.360 He hosted The Man Show.
00:29:46.240 He got in a lot of trouble.
00:29:47.460 So finally, he's addressing this.
00:29:49.840 He conveniently went on vacation a few days ago as this was all blowing up.
00:29:53.600 Now he is apologizing, sort of.
00:29:55.520 But pay attention to this apology.
00:29:58.420 I have long been reluctant to address this, as I knew doing so would be celebrated as a
00:30:02.000 victory by those who equate apologies with weakness and cheers for leaders who use prejudice
00:30:05.340 to divide us.
00:30:07.300 So already, he's accusing his opponents of being racists.
00:30:12.020 That delay was a mistake.
00:30:13.380 There is nothing more important to me than your respect.
00:30:15.280 And I apologize to those who were genuinely hurt or offended by the makeup I wore or the words
00:30:20.820 I spoke.
00:30:21.280 On K-Rock Radio in the mid-90s, I did a recurring impression of the NBA player Carl Malone.
00:30:26.680 In the late 90s, I continued impersonating Malone on TV.
00:30:29.380 We hired makeup artists to make me look as much like Carl Malone as possible.
00:30:32.620 I never considered that this might be seen as anything other than an imitation of a fellow
00:30:37.000 human being.
00:30:37.780 One that had no more to do with Carl's skin color than it did with his bulging muscles
00:30:41.360 and bald head.
00:30:43.580 Pause there.
00:30:44.420 What he's saying is, oh, I didn't even think about the race.
00:30:47.780 I wasn't wearing blackface.
00:30:49.340 I was doing an impersonation of a black person, which involves darkening my skin.
00:30:54.740 I buy that argument.
00:30:56.440 I totally buy that argument.
00:30:59.160 You know who else made that argument?
00:31:01.500 Megyn Kelly.
00:31:02.980 They were debating when Megyn Kelly went over to network TV.
00:31:05.620 She had left Fox.
00:31:06.300 She went to network.
00:31:06.860 And they were discussing what blackface is.
00:31:10.380 And she said, well, you know, when I was a kid, here, I'll find the exact quote.
00:31:14.520 When I was a kid, that was okay as long as you were dressing up as like a character.
00:31:19.280 Not that you would be mocking an entire race, but if you were going to go for Halloween as
00:31:24.340 Diana Ross, for instance, you darkened your skin, you're going as a character, that was
00:31:29.140 fine.
00:31:29.880 She said the same exact thing that Jimmy Kimmel said here, except she was fired.
00:31:34.920 Only for making those comments.
00:31:39.040 So Jimmy Kimmel now had to apologize because he actually wore the stuff.
00:31:42.680 He did all the impressions.
00:31:43.660 He said the N word on tape, did this for many years.
00:31:47.440 And his apology, the reason that Jimmy Kimmel will likely be able to keep his job, his apology
00:31:53.100 is the very same thing that Megyn Kelly said that got her fired.
00:31:58.240 Because there's no fairness here.
00:32:00.580 There's no standard.
00:32:02.740 Jimmy Kimmel bends the knee.
00:32:03.680 Back in the day, Jimmy Kimmel was somewhat funny.
00:32:06.180 Jimmy Kimmel used to make kind of off-color, racy jokes.
00:32:09.540 And they were funny, as those jokes tend to be funny, right?
00:32:12.520 I mean, that's what comedy is.
00:32:14.560 Comedy is not milquetoast, approved, politically correct stuff.
00:32:17.480 It pushes boundaries.
00:32:18.660 And sometimes it pushes boundaries on sex.
00:32:20.580 Sometimes it pushes boundaries on race.
00:32:22.320 Sometimes it pushes boundaries on food.
00:32:24.500 I don't know, on any sort of topic, right?
00:32:26.640 So he used to be funny when he wasn't afraid of the woke PC mob.
00:32:30.040 Now he bent the knee.
00:32:32.860 Do you think the mob is going to be satisfied?
00:32:35.860 Maybe.
00:32:36.500 Maybe they will.
00:32:37.240 They do protect their own sometimes.
00:32:38.940 But it's going to be a little tricky.
00:32:40.420 Because the mob has just found out.
00:32:42.800 Just like they just discovered this K-rock album where he said the N-word a bunch of times.
00:32:47.860 Which has been out there for years.
00:32:50.640 They just found out that Jimmy hosted the Man Show.
00:32:52.680 Which is the thing that I know him best from.
00:32:54.400 Because it was on TV on Comedy Central when I was a kid.
00:32:56.320 Give you a sense.
00:32:58.220 What was the Man Show?
00:32:58.880 The Man Show was kind of a tongue-in-cheek, self-effacing view of what men are.
00:33:05.280 So portray men as kind of just like fat slobs who just want to drink beer and look at hot women wearing bikinis and things like that.
00:33:12.740 The intro actually just featured a bunch of girls jumping on trampolines.
00:33:16.200 Grab a beer and drop your pants.
00:33:19.380 Say no, I think it's your hand.
00:33:21.560 It's the Man Show.
00:33:24.660 Put your job in line of part.
00:33:26.560 Gank your favorite private part.
00:33:28.700 It's the Man Show.
00:33:31.860 It's a place where men can come together.
00:33:35.400 Look at the hands on this chicken head.
00:33:38.980 Ducky girls on trampolines.
00:33:40.840 Daggerloos in those blue jeans.
00:33:42.660 It's the Man Show.
00:33:46.200 Obviously, very tongue-in-cheek kind of introduction.
00:33:53.000 It was a funny show.
00:33:53.900 It was kind of a low-budget show in the 90s and very good.
00:33:55.780 It was Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla.
00:33:57.980 They did good work on there.
00:33:59.320 One bit that they did on that show, probably the most famous bit from the whole show,
00:34:02.700 is they held a petition outside.
00:34:05.460 And it was a petition against women's suffrage.
00:34:08.400 And the idea being that people didn't know what the word suffrage meant.
00:34:11.900 They thought it was like suffering or something.
00:34:13.660 So they would get women and liberal men to sign this petition to end women's suffrage.
00:34:21.400 How long is this going to go on?
00:34:24.500 Ladies, unite against suffrage.
00:34:26.920 And the suffraging now.
00:34:28.900 We're trying to stop the suffrage and the suffrage of women in this country.
00:34:33.160 Sir?
00:34:33.660 I would be happy to sign this.
00:34:34.920 Thank you very much.
00:34:36.100 You've saved the dolphins.
00:34:37.840 Now let's stop the suffrage.
00:34:39.480 I do this for personal reasons.
00:34:41.360 My mother, two of my aunts, and my sister are all suffraged last year.
00:34:45.540 Tell me what the 19th Amendment is.
00:34:47.260 The 19th Amendment is very unjust.
00:34:49.680 The 19th Amendment is very unjust.
00:34:52.120 It's the amendment that gives women the right to vote.
00:34:55.320 It's not as though this were a drama.
00:34:58.680 This is not a serious show.
00:35:00.040 This isn't a news broadcast.
00:35:01.460 It's a comedy show.
00:35:02.520 It's a joke.
00:35:03.660 Does anybody really believe that Jimmy Kimmel is sorry for telling these jokes?
00:35:08.560 No.
00:35:09.300 Does anybody really believe that anybody's offended by those jokes?
00:35:13.060 No.
00:35:14.300 We're all just playing pretend.
00:35:16.680 By the way, I don't think we should defend Jimmy Kimmel here.
00:35:19.640 I think we have unilaterally disarmed far too long.
00:35:24.180 Jimmy Kimmel has become a total left-wing hack.
00:35:26.760 Didn't used to be, but now he is.
00:35:28.760 And I think we've got to stop playing by a completely different set of rules than the left plays by.
00:35:34.260 When you're in a battle, your opponent gets a say.
00:35:36.380 And it is simply surrender to not be willing to actually engage in those rules.
00:35:43.380 But it is pretend.
00:35:44.640 Don't kid yourself.
00:35:45.520 It is pretend.
00:35:46.200 Think about Howard Stern.
00:35:47.120 He's another guy who used to be shocking and now he's the toast of Hollywood.
00:35:50.440 Totally caved to the left.
00:35:52.320 No comedian, including Jimmy Kimmel, has sucked up to Hollywood more in recent years than Howard Stern.
00:35:56.960 He used to be the anti-Hollywood.
00:35:59.260 He used to make fun of celebrities.
00:36:00.760 Now he's their best friends.
00:36:02.040 Now he goes to their weddings.
00:36:02.840 So Howard Stern just got in a little trouble.
00:36:05.600 Same reason Jimmy Kimmel did.
00:36:07.080 They caught him on tape years and years ago during a bit using the N-word as part of a comedy routine.
00:36:14.120 So Jimmy was confronted, or Jimmy, Freudian slip.
00:36:16.700 Howard was confronted about this on The View and Howard completely denied it.
00:36:21.720 You were shocked, Doc.
00:36:23.760 You used the N-word a lot.
00:36:26.000 You said really?
00:36:26.680 I used the N-word.
00:36:28.440 Yeah, you did.
00:36:28.900 Wait a second.
00:36:29.720 Hold on.
00:36:30.180 I do.
00:36:30.660 I remember it.
00:36:31.600 Whoopi.
00:36:32.020 Hold on.
00:36:32.700 Wait, wait.
00:36:33.340 No.
00:36:33.640 We had a guy on from the Ku Klux Klan.
00:36:36.080 Yes.
00:36:36.580 Who very freely used the N-word.
00:36:38.580 Yeah.
00:36:38.800 And my belief was, hey, say it out in the open.
00:36:41.940 Yes.
00:36:42.160 And I didn't use the N-word.
00:36:43.860 Let's be very clear.
00:36:45.160 Okay, let's be very clear.
00:36:47.000 That isn't what happened.
00:36:49.120 Actually, what happened is Howard Stern put on actual blackface.
00:36:52.660 He wasn't just pretending to be some other guy.
00:36:54.480 He put on actual blackface with the white all around his lips.
00:36:58.040 And he used the N-word multiple times.
00:37:02.500 Now there is more to this sketch, which we'll talk about at the end.
00:37:05.820 But take a listen to this.
00:37:07.120 Hey, Robin, what does you call a black rocket scientist?
00:37:10.040 I don't know, Ted.
00:37:10.640 A n-word.
00:37:12.080 Whoopi wrote it.
00:37:12.900 Whoopi wrote it.
00:37:13.660 I want you to give us a kiss, you smelly, cog-haired s**t.
00:37:17.300 I love you.
00:37:18.100 May I say something here?
00:37:19.740 Mm-hmm.
00:37:20.760 Oh, you can say whatever you want, you smelly n-word.
00:37:23.180 Oh!
00:37:24.820 Whoopi wrote that.
00:37:25.600 That's it, Ted.
00:37:26.620 You didn't know I was going to say that.
00:37:28.260 Whoopi had no chance to write it.
00:37:29.800 I don't accept that kind of language.
00:37:31.400 You can call her whatever you want, but you don't talk to me that way or I'll leave.
00:37:35.500 Well, don't let the door hit you on your big black ass, mama, on the way out of here.
00:37:39.620 Now, where was I?
00:37:40.400 Oh, yes.
00:37:40.800 Now, Whoopi, you is a filthy n-hole.
00:37:43.720 So that's a little different than the way Howard Stern presented it on The View, right?
00:37:47.480 And yet, what is actually going on here?
00:37:50.040 For those of you who weren't just listening, but who have actually seen this sketch,
00:37:53.780 two of the three performers in this sketch are black.
00:37:56.480 One of them is Robin Quivers, who is longtime sidekick on The Howard Stern Show.
00:38:00.980 And the other one is Sherman Hemsley, who plays George Jefferson,
00:38:03.500 one of the most famous black comedic actors of the 20th century.
00:38:06.820 And she referred to him as Ted.
00:38:08.520 Well, why?
00:38:08.920 Because Howard Stern wasn't playing Howard Stern.
00:38:11.380 Howard Stern was playing Ted Danson.
00:38:12.600 Ted Danson, a white liberal, great, great actor, love Ted Danson.
00:38:16.920 But he had this infamous moment where he wore blackface at an event.
00:38:21.380 And his defense was that he was dating Whoopi Goldberg, very much black, who was also at the event.
00:38:26.240 And so what Howard Stern was doing was a sort of satire of Ted Danson performing a racist routine
00:38:35.020 in front of Whoopi Goldberg and using Whoopi Goldberg's blackness as an excuse for doing the routine.
00:38:41.500 Many levels to this.
00:38:43.480 Does anybody think that Howard Stern is a racial bigot and was actually doing racism?
00:38:48.840 No, the sketch was actually a sketch making fun of racism and making fun of excuses for racism.
00:38:55.700 Although, actually, on that, does anyone think that Ted Danson's a racist?
00:38:59.080 No, he was dating Whoopi Goldberg.
00:39:00.640 That actually was the excuse.
00:39:02.360 It's all just make-believe.
00:39:04.220 And yet, could you imagine if that were a conservative?
00:39:08.620 Could you imagine if it were Steven Crowder who did that bit?
00:39:12.980 He would not be permitted in polite society.
00:39:15.900 He would not be permitted anywhere.
00:39:18.980 So what do we do now to Howard Stern?
00:39:22.200 I don't, I think comedy.
00:39:24.140 That's fine.
00:39:24.760 Tell jokes.
00:39:25.700 Doesn't bother me.
00:39:27.680 Doesn't bother me when comedians tell jokes.
00:39:29.200 If they go too far, they'll lose their audience.
00:39:31.700 But to gin up this AstroTurf campaign, you've got to be canceled no more.
00:39:36.500 That is pretend.
00:39:38.140 It's all pretend.
00:39:39.820 And yet, we have to let them follow the logic of their own ideology.
00:39:45.080 We've got to let them get to the end of this.
00:39:46.540 We can't stand in the way.
00:39:47.460 We can't play by a different set of rules.
00:39:50.700 It's sad, though, because what it means is none of this is serious and our culture is no longer serious.
00:39:54.760 I'll give you another example.
00:39:56.400 In Oregon right now, there's a mask order, you know, you've got to, because of the virus.
00:40:00.600 Remember the virus?
00:40:01.280 Me neither.
00:40:02.300 You've now got to wear a mask in public, but not if you're black.
00:40:05.360 I'm serious.
00:40:08.580 Lincoln County, Oregon health officials announced last week all residents must wear face coverings
00:40:15.060 when they're in public places if they're likely to come within six feet of other people who are not of their own household.
00:40:21.240 But people of color do not have to follow the new rule if they're worried about racial profiling.
00:40:29.660 Which means, as far as I can tell, that means there are two options.
00:40:32.880 The whole idea with the masks is that the coronavirus is super-duper deadly and super-duper contagious
00:40:37.200 and we're all going to die from it.
00:40:38.440 So you've got to wear the mask everywhere you go.
00:40:41.320 So two options, as I see it.
00:40:42.760 One, coronavirus is not super-duper deadly, right, because they're saying some people don't have to wear the masks.
00:40:52.040 And white supremacy is not a real thing because people of color, which is a new term,
00:40:59.080 but I don't know if it's the term everyone has to use now, I guess,
00:41:01.620 that group of people gets a special privilege that the white people don't get.
00:41:06.060 They don't have to wear the masks all the time, but the white people do by threat of law.
00:41:08.880 So, either coronavirus, it's been a little bit hyped, and there's no such thing as white supremacy,
00:41:17.220 or coronavirus is super-duper deadly, like they're all telling us, all the health experts,
00:41:22.040 and there definitely is white supremacy, and maybe this county in Oregon is being run by the Ku Klux
00:41:26.900 plan or something because they're saying, yeah, black people don't wear the masks.
00:41:29.760 Good luck with the virus.
00:41:31.160 I don't know.
00:41:31.780 To me, it seems more likely that it's the former situation that the media have actually just been
00:41:35.580 lying to us this whole time and exaggerating things this whole time.
00:41:38.880 Than it is that there's this awful, racist, anti-black policy going on in Oregon.
00:41:46.680 Nevertheless, those are the options.
00:41:49.420 Either way, somebody is playing pretend.
00:41:51.860 Ben Stiller.
00:41:52.940 Ben Stiller.
00:41:54.280 A name I did not think would be involved in today's show, but he has injected himself into
00:41:58.560 these debates because as the statues are coming down of Washington, Jefferson, Columbus,
00:42:02.960 they took down a statue of Teddy Roosevelt at the museum that only exists because of Teddy
00:42:07.520 Roosevelt in New York, and what Ben Stiller suggested is it's good, yeah, take down Teddy
00:42:11.580 Roosevelt and replace him with a statue of Robin Williams.
00:42:16.260 Robin Williams playing Teddy Roosevelt in that movie.
00:42:20.360 It's that movie, Night at the Museum, I think.
00:42:23.320 Now, it's just a little joke from Ben Stiller, but the joke tells you a lot about our culture
00:42:28.500 right now.
00:42:29.600 We don't want the real thing.
00:42:31.660 We can't handle the real thing.
00:42:33.260 We can't handle the real debates.
00:42:34.660 We can't handle the real problems.
00:42:36.480 We can't handle the real eternal political questions.
00:42:39.280 We can't handle the real facts of our history.
00:42:42.900 We can't handle any of that.
00:42:44.220 We can only handle the make-believe, the pretend, the cartoon, the joke.
00:42:51.020 That's all.
00:42:52.500 It's funny.
00:42:53.060 We can't handle jokes either.
00:42:54.220 Our culture has become a joke, and that's what we handle.
00:42:58.000 That's it.
00:42:58.820 We are now a country that tears down statues of Teddy Roosevelt and would prefer to erect
00:43:05.220 statues of clowns playing Teddy Roosevelt.
00:43:10.280 I think we may be becoming a nation of clowns ourselves, and I'm at least glad that we're
00:43:16.440 getting this part right.
00:43:18.720 I opened the show, and I said, there's just something in liberalism that seems to be like
00:43:25.100 a ticking time bomb almost, because you're always liberating yourself from the oppressive
00:43:29.980 past.
00:43:30.540 So the past always has to be bad.
00:43:32.220 No matter how good times are in liberalism, you've got to have a kind of antipathy for the
00:43:36.280 past, because now we're so much freer and more liberated and autonomous and emancipated.
00:43:40.720 And that goes on and on and on progressively until you get to some utopian future.
00:43:47.700 And I think a lot of people, even conservatives, think that the time we're living in right now,
00:43:51.620 it's the best time.
00:43:52.880 We're the best.
00:43:53.740 We're the smartest.
00:43:54.760 We're the most moral.
00:43:56.500 We are the most humane.
00:43:58.660 And we've got iPhones, for goodness sakes.
00:44:00.440 We have iPhones.
00:44:01.960 Oh, man, are we so much better than those dumb old-timey people, our ancestors, who came
00:44:06.860 before us?
00:44:07.460 Great story challenges that assumption.
00:44:12.120 Kind of a sad story, but it's funny nonetheless.
00:44:14.500 There's a painting in Spain.
00:44:17.460 It was a painting done by the Baroque painter, Botolome Esteban Murillo.
00:44:21.940 It's a painting of the Virgin Mary.
00:44:23.960 And the painting needed to be restored.
00:44:25.520 So the owner of this painting went to an amateur painting restorer.
00:44:31.080 And so he said, can you fix up the painting?
00:44:33.200 The first attempt was absolutely disastrous, completely destroyed the painting, took this
00:44:39.580 beautiful Baroque painting of the Blessed Virgin, and turned it into what looks like a third
00:44:44.860 grader's assignment.
00:44:46.280 So then they tried again, made it look like a first grader's assignment.
00:44:50.680 It got worse.
00:44:51.460 Then they tried again, and it looks like a three-year-old finger painted it.
00:44:55.300 They took a beautiful work of art from hundreds of years ago and made it worse, and then worse, and then worse.
00:45:07.820 That's not progress.
00:45:09.480 That would be the opposite of progress.
00:45:10.780 That would be regress, I believe.
00:45:12.160 And this has happened before, actually, in Spain, again.
00:45:14.080 There's a fresco of Jesus in 2012, and an amateur painter, this woman, Cecilia Jimenez, attempted to
00:45:23.080 restore the Ece Omo painting, and same results.
00:45:28.500 I mean, it just became this blotchy mess.
00:45:31.180 They took a beautiful painting and then just turned it into what could be finger paint.
00:45:36.080 That's the perfect encapsulation of our culture.
00:45:38.660 That's what we are doing.
00:45:39.700 We're tearing down great men.
00:45:41.240 We're tearing down works of art.
00:45:42.640 Now, one of the Black Lives Matter lead activists is calling for people to smash stained glass
00:45:48.960 windows and statues and icons at churches, and that is happening, at least in Europe.
00:45:54.680 I don't know if it's happened yet in America.
00:45:55.820 I guess they did deface the, they tried to burn it down and then deface the St. John's Church.
00:46:00.580 All of this is happening, and we're congratulating ourselves.
00:46:04.340 All the beautiful art, all the beautiful culture, all the beautiful political system, all the
00:46:07.780 beautiful civilization.
00:46:08.760 We are tearing it to shreds, lighting it on fire, all on the premise that we're so much
00:46:16.700 better than the people who built it.
00:46:18.820 We're so much better.
00:46:19.900 Watch us torch it.
00:46:22.480 And yet the people who are doing it are so divorced from reality.
00:46:26.220 They are so lost in their own make-believe, in their own fantasy, that they can't even see it.
00:46:31.840 They think that actually reality is the opposite of what it is.
00:46:35.960 They think up is down, good is bad, and law is lawlessness, and on and on and on.
00:46:45.860 We're living in an upside-down world.
00:46:47.840 And something tells me that just like that painting restoration, things are going to get worse and
00:46:53.920 worse and worse.
00:46:54.560 And I hope one day they get better.
00:46:56.840 But for the near future, I think I mentioned this yesterday, the only way out is going to be
00:47:01.920 through.
00:47:03.240 By the way, speaking of terrible news, there is not going to be any show tomorrow because
00:47:08.420 I am going to take a quick little jaunt to Washington, D.C.
00:47:12.080 I want to throw my hat in the ring to become the president of the BEHAZ, the autonomous zone
00:47:17.540 there.
00:47:17.940 We'll see if it works out.
00:47:18.760 Otherwise, I'll have to come back.
00:47:19.780 Maybe I'll run against Kamala or something in California.
00:47:21.600 But I will be back on Friday.
00:47:24.820 So stay tuned tomorrow.
00:47:27.640 Stay safe.
00:47:28.540 Stay put.
