Summary

Kenosha, Wisconsin is burning down, and it's not about white supremacy or police brutality. It's about socialism. And it's based on a clip from a video of a police shooting of a black man in a car.

Transcript

00:00:00.000 Another day and Democrats are burning down another city, this time Kenosha, Wisconsin.
00:00:05.860 And the violence has become so radical that cops are now being knocked unconscious,
00:00:11.100 being left in the ground after being hit with bricks.
00:00:14.680 Used car dealerships are being burned to the ground
00:00:17.580 because used cars apparently are tools of white supremacy or something like that.
00:00:22.080 And stores are being smashed and smashed and looted and vandalized,
00:00:27.260 all in the name of social justice.
00:00:30.340 But this is not about white supremacy or police brutality.
00:00:34.720 What this is really about is Democrats burning down another city to try to win an election.
00:00:41.380 We'll go all the way down.
00:00:42.900 I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:00:52.200 Welcome back to the show.
00:00:53.420 My favorite comment from yesterday comes from Kai Jukebox, who said,
00:00:57.960 Michael, I'm 17 and I'm taking sociology at the local community college this semester.
00:01:02.680 We're already talking about Marx.
00:01:05.180 The show has helped me stay sane in this indoctrination station the past three semesters.
00:01:10.980 Thank you.
00:01:11.420 I'm more than happy.
00:01:13.120 I'm so glad to be a counterbalance to your sociology professor.
00:01:17.380 Sociology, of course, one of the most left-wing fields.
00:01:20.280 It's hard to even call it an academic discipline, but it goes very far left.
00:01:23.200 The problem, by the way, is not reading Marx.
00:01:25.060 The problem is that, presumably, you're not being taught to understand Marx.
00:01:29.060 You should read Marx, because Marx is a very important thinker in the history of Western thought.
00:01:33.580 But you've got to make sure that you understand Marx.
00:01:35.380 A great book to help you understand Marx, by the way, is one that I just wrote the foreword to.
00:01:39.440 It just came out a couple weeks ago, called The Devil and Karl Marx by Paul Kenger.
00:01:43.960 Check that one out.
00:01:44.760 Actually, if you read that book, I think you'll be able to look around America today
00:01:49.860 and start to make sense of everything that's happening as another city goes up in flames,
00:01:54.500 which we will get to.
00:01:55.940 This is all based on another officer-involved shooting.
00:01:59.540 The story that you're being presented by the mainstream media is very, very, very different
00:02:05.280 from the reality of what actually happened.
00:02:07.440 We'll get to that in one second.
00:02:08.360 First, though, got to thank our friends over at Rock Auto.
00:02:11.360 You know me.
00:02:12.220 You know that I don't know anything about cars, and yet I've had some car trouble in my life.
00:02:17.240 So your car has some trouble.
00:02:18.940 You go into the brick-and-mortar store.
00:02:20.620 You say, yeah, I need the who's-he-what's-us for the whatchamacallit.
00:02:23.640 And they say, okay, well, yeah, we don't have your part in stock, but we're going to
00:02:27.340 go online and order it.
00:02:28.260 They probably go to rockauto.com, but they charge you double anyway, and it's all very
00:02:33.460 complicated.
00:02:34.040 It's not very nice.
00:02:34.660 That's why I love rockauto.com.
00:02:37.260 So Rock Auto is a family company.
00:02:39.700 They've been serving auto parts customers online for 20 years.
00:02:43.360 20 years.
00:02:43.960 That's like the entire history of the internet.
00:02:46.920 The thing I especially love about Rock Auto, first of all, always reliably low prices,
00:02:50.840 so it's not like you've got to game it and say, okay, I'm going to buy this part on a
00:02:53.760 Tuesday, but on Thursday, the price is going to go back up.
00:02:56.600 No, it's just reliably low.
00:02:57.980 The other thing I love is their catalog is so simple that even I can understand it, which
00:03:03.480 is a high bar.
00:03:05.560 Right now, go to rockauto.com.
00:03:07.660 See all the parts available for your car or truck.
00:03:10.920 And then, most important of all, write Knowles in the How Did You Hear About Us box.
00:03:15.520 Then they will know that we sent you, and that would be terrific.
00:03:18.180 But head on over there.
00:03:18.920 These guys, I really trust them.
00:03:21.280 They're always reliable.
00:03:22.980 And most important, it's so simple, even I can do it.
00:03:26.380 Democrats are burning down another city.
00:03:28.500 I think today, if I didn't want to write another show today, sometimes writing the show takes
00:03:33.660 a little bit of time.
00:03:34.440 I could have just gone back to a show from a couple of weeks ago and switched the names
00:03:37.900 of the cities.
00:03:38.900 What was the last city they were burning down?
00:03:40.240 I don't know, Atlanta or whatever?
00:03:41.600 Burning down, it seems like a different city every week.
00:03:43.800 I could have dubbed in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the same exact script.
00:03:49.220 It would have remained exactly the same.
00:03:50.820 What happened?
00:03:52.060 A man named Jacob Blake in Kenosha was filmed walking away from the cops with guns.
00:04:00.000 Maybe you've seen the clip.
00:04:01.360 The cops have got their guns trained on.
00:04:03.500 The guy's walking away, opens his car door, reaches into his car as the cops are telling
00:04:08.120 him not to.
00:04:08.580 And then the cops fire on the guy as he's reaching into his car.
00:04:13.880 Raises some questions.
00:04:15.820 If you are, for whatever reason, under arrest and you're resisting arrest, that is going
00:04:23.040 to make this a very provocative and dangerous situation.
00:04:26.100 And in virtually, maybe every single one of these officer-involved killing cases, you've
00:04:30.620 got the perpetrator resisting arrest, which automatically makes things more dangerous.
00:04:35.480 But then, imagine, you've got multiple guns trained on you.
00:04:38.320 The cop's saying, stop, stop, don't go to her.
00:04:40.000 And you're walking around cool as a cucumber?
00:04:42.800 Like, you're just going to walk to that car?
00:04:44.340 And by the way, this guy's children were in the car, so you're making this very dangerous
00:04:48.380 situation for your children.
00:04:49.680 And then he reaches into the car.
00:04:51.080 What's he reaching in to get?
00:04:52.740 We don't know.
00:04:54.400 Problem is, the cops didn't know either.
00:04:56.640 Is he reaching in to grab a gun?
00:04:58.840 I don't know.
00:04:59.540 It seems like a very plausible situation.
00:05:01.440 And so the cops, at the very last moment, fire their weapons.
00:05:05.400 Because what are they supposed to do?
00:05:06.420 If you're a cop and you've got this guy resisting arrest, walks in, reaches into his car, are
00:05:12.480 you supposed to wait for him to grab a gun and turn around and point it at you and fire
00:05:15.540 it off a few times before you use force?
00:05:18.500 Probably not.
00:05:19.760 What are you going to do?
00:05:20.340 Are you going to shoot him in the ankle and say, okay, well, I've wounded you now.
00:05:23.640 You've learned your lesson.
00:05:24.720 No, that's not how it works.
00:05:26.580 If you're at the point where you've got to discharge your weapon, you're going to shoot
00:05:30.260 to kill.
00:05:30.980 By the way, I don't think this guy is dead.
00:05:33.240 I think he's in a serious condition, but I don't think they ended up killing him.
00:05:38.140 So you've heard the clip.
00:05:40.340 You've seen the clip.
00:05:41.880 You've looked at what's happened.
00:05:43.020 What is the news saying about this?
00:05:45.720 I'm going to skim through this very quickly.
00:05:47.880 This is the Chicago Tribune.
00:05:49.660 And this coverage is typical of how the mainstream media are covering the story.
00:05:54.320 Jacob Blake, shot by police officer in Kenosha, part of the Evanston family long associated
00:06:01.060 with community activism.
00:06:03.420 Community activism.
00:06:04.300 What does that mean?
00:06:06.220 The story opens with 554 words about this guy.
00:06:12.420 I'll just give you some of the highlights.
00:06:14.180 Jacob Blake, who was shot by a police officer in Kenosha on Sunday, grew up in Evanston as
00:06:17.100 part of a family with deep ties to local community activism.
00:06:20.060 Then it describes the video, but it doesn't describe it too specifically.
00:06:23.720 It says there's unrest, you know, now that's going on.
00:06:27.600 Unrest is code word for people are burning down car dealerships and looting and throwing
00:06:32.340 bricks at cops' heads.
00:06:34.180 It describes the video a little bit more, but not too specifically.
00:06:38.320 As of Monday, Blake was in serious condition.
00:06:40.720 Blake's family's been active in and around Evanston for generations, said his uncle, Justin
00:06:45.920 Blake, while en route to the hospital where Jacob Blake is being treated.
00:06:49.400 He's a lively young man.
00:06:50.940 He's like his father, my brother, Justin Blake said.
00:06:53.360 So one thing you notice about the article, the only source they ever refer to is this
00:06:57.300 guy's uncle.
00:06:58.780 Justin Blake said that.
00:06:59.940 He's got a hell of a personality and he loves people.
00:07:03.280 He moved to the Kenosha Racine area a few years ago for a job and family, his uncle said.
00:07:07.780 It was a safer location.
00:07:09.700 He could work and try to save and build for a better life, Justin Blake said.
00:07:13.040 So how many times is he going to say, the uncle said this, the uncle said that?
00:07:15.500 Journalists used to go out and get multiple sources and try to construct the story themselves,
00:07:21.360 not allow people who are the object of the story and their relatives to write the story.
00:07:26.400 He loves sports, music, and architecture.
00:07:29.460 Played football and basketball at Evanston Township High School.
00:07:32.160 What does any of this have to do with the story?
00:07:35.020 But Jacob Blake didn't forget his roots and he returned often to volunteer with his uncle
00:07:38.880 at Black Urban Recycling in Chicago, an organization that collects aluminum cans from senior centers,
00:07:44.460 veterans groups, and elsewhere to recycle them and raise money for a community center in
00:07:48.820 the Inglewood neighborhood, Justin Blake said.
00:07:51.140 Man, this guy sounds like the greatest guy on earth, right?
00:07:54.380 Why on earth would the cops shoot this guy?
00:07:56.280 Why were they even there?
00:07:57.840 Oh my God, this is a setup.
00:07:59.260 This is white supremacy.
00:08:00.200 This is police brutality.
00:08:01.740 It has to be, right?
00:08:02.700 That's the picture the mainstream media are painting.
00:08:05.040 The veterans love him when he comes around because he's always polite and perky, his uncle said.
00:08:10.300 Man, his uncle's sure got a lot to say.
00:08:12.260 Jacob Blake's grandfather, also named Jacob Blake, served as pastor of Ebenezer AME Church
00:08:16.700 in Evanston and was a local leader in the civil rights movement, according to Chicago Tribune
00:08:20.540 archives.
00:08:21.380 After the death of Martin Luther King Jr., the Reverend Jacob Blake helped organize and spoke
00:08:26.060 to a crowd of 3,000 Evanston residents who marched in support of a local,
00:08:29.660 comprehensive housing law.
00:08:30.920 Man, this guy's like Martin Luther King Jr., for goodness sakes.
00:08:34.940 Can you believe these white supremacist, racist cops did this with no reason, no provocation
00:08:39.780 whatsoever?
00:08:40.340 It goes on for like another 150 or 200 words.
00:08:45.460 Talks about these various buildings that were trying to get people out of the slums.
00:08:51.000 All this wonderful work that this man's family's done.
00:08:56.080 542 words later.
00:08:58.620 Court records show Blake has a pending criminal case that started last month.
00:09:03.220 Online court records indicate Kenosha County prosecutors charged Blake on July 6th with third
00:09:08.380 degree sexual assault, trespassing, and disorderly conduct in connection with domestic abuse.
00:09:15.160 An arrest warrant was issued for Blake the next day.
00:09:19.740 Huh.
00:09:20.880 Oh.
00:09:22.120 So it doesn't sound like all that stuff that the uncle said and how he's wonderful and how
00:09:26.940 he's always helping old ladies cross the street and how he's picking up trash and
00:09:30.140 litter and aluminum cans.
00:09:32.460 Maybe that's not the story.
00:09:34.940 Maybe the story is there's a warrant out for his arrest because of sexual assault,
00:09:40.260 assault, trespassing, and domestic abuse.
00:09:43.480 And it's not that the media completely ignore it.
00:09:47.380 It's not that the media completely lie about it.
00:09:49.500 It's that they bury the actual, the only actual news, the only relevant information in that
00:09:54.720 story, they bury it almost 550 words into the story.
00:09:59.620 Most articles on the internet, by the way, are fewer than 550 words.
00:10:02.660 So you'd read a whole story's worth before you'd get to any relevant information.
00:10:07.320 There it is.
00:10:07.620 You probably haven't heard that information.
00:10:09.200 If you're watching the mainstream media to hear about this case.
00:10:13.100 So what are the Democrats saying?
00:10:15.740 Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, some of the local, the local elected Democrats.
00:10:20.600 We'll get into that because they're certainly not focusing on the relevant aspects of that
00:10:23.960 case.
00:10:24.200 First though, I got to thank our friends over at Paint Your Life.
00:10:27.220 PaintYourLife.com, man.
00:10:28.360 This, what an amazing service this is.
00:10:31.300 So you know, I ordered one of these maybe two years ago for my stepbrother.
00:10:36.480 What is Paint Your Life?
00:10:37.140 If you upload a photo, they get one of their world-class artists to make an actual oil painting
00:10:41.800 or any other kind of painting too.
00:10:43.220 I just happen to like the oil.
00:10:44.520 They do this beautiful painting out of it.
00:10:46.320 You're working with the artist every step of the way.
00:10:47.920 You get to see proofs.
00:10:48.580 They do a great job framing also.
00:10:50.360 And you get it.
00:10:51.060 I was skeptical that this could possibly look good.
00:10:53.360 Then I get my stepbrothers and I think, oh my gosh, I'm so envious.
00:10:56.420 Why didn't I get one for me?
00:10:57.460 So I just did it.
00:10:58.900 I just did one for a relative of mine who died when I was young.
00:11:03.800 And I, you know, I'm thinking about my home, future generations of Knowles.
00:11:08.640 I really want people to be able to know this relative, you know.
00:11:12.680 So what more special way than to have a portrait painted?
00:11:16.260 I just uploaded that.
00:11:17.660 I'm waiting for it now.
00:11:18.600 We're working with the artist.
00:11:19.660 It's just terrific.
00:11:20.740 It's wonderful.
00:11:21.180 It can be a deceased relative, a loved relative who's still alive, a pet, a favorite place,
00:11:25.520 anything.
00:11:26.180 These guys are the best.
00:11:28.100 So you've got it right now.
00:11:30.340 Go to paintyourlife.com.
00:11:32.040 There's no risk.
00:11:32.700 If you don't love the final painting, your money is refunded.
00:11:35.180 No big deal.
00:11:36.300 Guaranteed.
00:11:36.880 Right now is a limited time offer.
00:11:38.040 You get 20% off your painting, 20% off and free shipping.
00:11:41.140 To get the special offer, text the word Michael, M-I-C-H-A-E-L, to 64,000.
00:11:46.360 That is M-I-C-H-A-E-L to 64,000.
00:11:48.880 Michael to 64,000.
00:11:50.360 Paint your life.
00:11:51.580 Celebrate the moments that matter most.
00:11:54.960 How do you think the Democrats, the elected Democrats, are covering this shooting?
00:11:59.900 Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in a joint statement.
00:12:02.640 Yesterday in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Jacob Blake was shot seven times in the back as police attempted
00:12:06.940 to restrain him from getting into his car.
00:12:08.480 His children watched from inside the car, and bystanders watched in disbelief.
00:12:12.920 His children that he walked toward while he was resisting arrest, while he was reaching
00:12:16.680 into his car.
00:12:18.000 And this morning, the nation wakes up yet again with grief and outrage that yet another black
00:12:22.680 American is a victim of excessive force.
00:12:24.460 So they're already saying right now this is excessive force, right?
00:12:28.540 Special investigators, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, they've already concluded that.
00:12:32.600 Forget any other investigations.
00:12:34.180 This calls for an immediate, full, and transparent investigation.
00:12:36.680 The officers must be held accountable.
00:12:38.560 These shots pierce the soul of our nation.
00:12:42.620 Yet another black American.
00:12:44.720 We went through the numbers.
00:12:46.920 How many black Americans were killed unarmed last year by the police?
00:12:51.480 The early number that came out that we were looking at was nine.
00:12:54.600 The highest number we've seen is 15.
00:12:57.200 Not 9,000.
00:12:58.480 Not 15,000.
00:13:00.260 Between nine and 15.
00:13:01.780 And by the way, unarmed does not mean not dangerous.
00:13:04.820 It does not mean that the shooting was not justified.
00:13:08.420 We're talking about a very, very small number of people in all of the civilian police encounters
00:13:14.360 throughout the year.
00:13:15.300 This is not a systemic problem.
00:13:17.760 This is not endemic at all.
00:13:19.420 This is completely, as a national political issue, contrived by cynical Democrats who want
00:13:25.180 to gin up racial division and burn down American cities.
00:13:27.720 They say, equal justice has not been real for black Americans and for so many others.
00:13:32.940 We're at an inflection point.
00:13:34.040 We must dismantle systemic racism.
00:13:36.440 It is an urgent task before us.
00:13:37.980 We must fight to honor the ideals laid in the original American promise, which we are yet
00:13:41.140 to attain, that all men and women are created equal, but more importantly, that they must
00:13:45.020 be treated equally.
00:13:46.800 This is a complete, a complete misunderstanding of the American founding.
00:13:51.420 First of all, they say we have to dismantle systemic racism.
00:13:55.420 Who controls the system?
00:13:56.720 Who controls the administrative government, the mainstream media, higher education, lower
00:14:00.660 education, Hollywood?
00:14:01.460 Who controls all of it?
00:14:02.480 Who controls every single institution in America?
00:14:05.760 Democrats.
00:14:06.960 And yet, we're supposed to trust them to dismantle the system that they preside over.
00:14:13.060 And what does it mean, the equality principle?
00:14:14.740 All men are created equal.
00:14:16.080 We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal.
00:14:20.040 You know, you know the thing, that equality principle.
00:14:23.040 What does that mean?
00:14:23.760 A lot of people don't understand it.
00:14:25.760 Some people deny that it's a self-evident truth.
00:14:28.500 Some people say it hasn't been attained yet.
00:14:31.500 Actually, the equality principle is self-evident in a very technical, logical way.
00:14:37.780 John Adams explains this very well.
00:14:39.900 It is a self-evident truth that all men are created equal because all men are equally men.
00:14:45.120 A self-evident truth here is something which contains the evidence for its truth in itself.
00:14:52.320 And the statement that all men are created equal is self-evidently true because we know,
00:14:57.200 looking around, that all men are equally men.
00:14:59.440 So that has been realized.
00:15:01.600 That's very clearly been realized.
00:15:03.900 But now, all people have to be treated exactly equally?
00:15:06.800 Well, what does that mean?
00:15:07.860 Should you be treated equally under the law on the basis of race?
00:15:11.060 Yes, and you are, by the way.
00:15:13.260 You are, actually, except for the one aspect of legal racial discrimination that we have,
00:15:17.520 which is called affirmative action, which disadvantages white and Asian applicants to colleges,
00:15:22.060 and it gives benefit to Hispanic and black applicants to colleges,
00:15:25.080 which the DOJ Office of Civil Rights right now is looking into.
00:15:28.160 Kind of a side point, and certainly not the narrative that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are trying to say.
00:15:32.800 They're trying to push.
00:15:35.160 What does this mean in this case?
00:15:38.940 What does this case tell us about the state of racial relations and equality under the law?
00:15:45.240 Nothing.
00:15:46.320 Nothing.
00:15:46.720 We don't know anything about this case.
00:15:48.560 What we do know, namely that this guy was resisting arrest,
00:15:51.520 he was only shot at the very last minute when he was reaching into his car,
00:15:54.420 that his kids happened to be in, by the way,
00:15:56.060 and that there was a warrant out for his arrest on sexual assault and domestic violence,
00:16:02.680 the more evidence we see, the more evidence that this arrest was justified.
00:16:07.000 There's no evidence that I've seen whatsoever that this is police brutality,
00:16:12.480 white supremacy, any of that nonsense.
00:16:15.160 So, are Joe Biden and Kamala Harris lying?
00:16:19.200 Are they just misguided here?
00:16:21.200 Or are they the third option, which is what I think is true?
00:16:24.140 Are they totally cynical?
00:16:26.400 Do they not care whether this narrative is true or false?
00:16:30.140 Do they just push it because it's a very effective story in their playbook?
00:16:34.200 This is obviously the latter.
00:16:37.200 This is what they do.
00:16:39.020 This is what they do before elections,
00:16:41.900 is they gin up completely contrived racial injustice controversies,
00:16:48.940 and then they burn down cities.
00:16:51.480 And they burn down cities because they think that this is going to help them in November.
00:16:56.780 They think that they can only win a tribal war.
00:17:00.680 They can't win on the field of ideas.
00:17:02.500 We talked about this a little bit yesterday.
00:17:03.780 They can't win by making logical arguments,
00:17:06.380 which is presupposed by free government.
00:17:08.540 Our constitutional system requires that we make persuasive logical arguments to one another.
00:17:13.180 They know they can't win that way.
00:17:14.620 They have no argument to make.
00:17:16.720 So, instead, they've got to burn down cities and get things so scary and so tribal
00:17:20.540 that the people that they believe on the basis of their tribe are going to vote for them
00:17:23.860 are going to be encouraged to vote for them.
00:17:25.920 Sean King, activist with the BLM movement,
00:17:29.340 tweets out that he's not going to call for peace.
00:17:32.160 He says, I'm not going to call for peace.
00:17:34.300 Nah.
00:17:35.220 We've tried peace for years.
00:17:36.580 Y'all don't understand that language.
00:17:39.080 We are calling for a complete dismantling of American policing.
00:17:41.900 It's not broken.
00:17:43.140 It was built to work this way.
00:17:45.280 And mayhem is the consequence.
00:17:46.660 You earned it.
00:17:48.080 You earned it.
00:17:48.680 We're going to burn down your cities.
00:17:49.700 We're going to burn down and dismantle American policing.
00:17:53.120 What do they mean by policing?
00:17:55.820 Do they mean they're going to burn down one or two bad cops that you can maybe point to?
00:17:59.440 No.
00:18:00.320 They're going to burn down and they're going to dismantle policing in general.
00:18:03.480 But policing is a symbol.
00:18:05.620 The police are a symbol for the American system of law and order.
00:18:09.900 So, what he's really saying here is,
00:18:11.800 we are going to dismantle the American law.
00:18:14.700 We are going to dismantle the American legal tradition.
00:18:17.280 We are going to dismantle the criminal justice system.
00:18:20.420 And then what's going to happen?
00:18:21.320 Then we, the radical left, are going to control things.
00:18:25.760 That's what this is all about.
00:18:27.520 I think some squishy conservative types, they'll say,
00:18:30.740 okay, well look, I'll defend George Washington.
00:18:33.560 I'll defend Thomas Jefferson.
00:18:35.200 But I'm not going to defend the police.
00:18:36.720 Everybody hates the police.
00:18:39.120 It's the same thing.
00:18:40.480 Those are symbols for the same thing.
00:18:43.020 George Washington is a symbol.
00:18:44.320 Thomas Jefferson is a symbol.
00:18:45.480 Alexander Hamilton, James Madison.
00:18:47.080 They are symbols of our constitutional system,
00:18:49.200 of our legal framework, of our country.
00:18:52.060 You know what the police are?
00:18:53.020 They're symbols of the exact same thing.
00:18:56.200 That is what this is all about.
00:18:58.440 And we're going back to a position now
00:19:00.080 where university dorms are being racially segregated,
00:19:03.780 where people are only shopping at businesses
00:19:05.600 that share their racial tribal affiliations.
00:19:09.600 There's a woman who was very upset
00:19:11.820 because she went into a boba tea place.
00:19:13.800 Boba tea.
00:19:14.320 You know boba tea?
00:19:14.920 It's that tea that has those weird little balls in it
00:19:17.120 and you kind of, I don't know, it's kind of nice.
00:19:18.960 Anyway, it's an Asian beverage.
00:19:21.380 Woman walks into this store, which is run by Asians,
00:19:24.080 and she's very upset because the boba tea place
00:19:26.800 is not a black-owned business.
00:19:29.740 Take a listen.
00:19:30.180 This establishment is not black-owned,
00:19:34.420 but you're stealing black culture.
00:19:36.800 Is this not black culture?
00:19:38.380 Trap tea, the boba plug?
00:19:40.220 No, you're thieves.
00:19:41.800 Asian people stealing black culture once again.
00:19:46.100 Once again.
00:19:47.000 It's okay.
00:19:47.620 You'll be exposed, though.
00:19:48.880 You're not black-owned.
00:19:50.160 You're stealing black culture.
00:19:52.020 You're stealing black culture.
00:19:54.020 No, I came here because I thought it was black-owned.
00:19:56.700 That's why I came here because I'm supporting a black business.
00:20:00.880 This is not black-owned.
00:20:02.720 This is not black-owned.
00:20:04.720 Asians stealing black culture.
00:20:07.540 Once again, you're a coon.
00:20:09.800 Don't talk.
00:20:10.760 I'm a coon.
00:20:11.460 I came here because I didn't know I was black-owned.
00:20:15.200 You already spent money on them.
00:20:16.380 I already did.
00:20:16.760 I already did.
00:20:18.080 Because I'm tired of people.
00:20:19.420 Because you're a coon.
00:20:21.800 Okay, so it goes on from there.
00:20:23.840 I think you get the idea.
00:20:24.640 She's arguing at the end with this black guy who says, hey, lady, you're in an Asian
00:20:28.300 joint.
00:20:28.860 Why are you screaming about how it's not a black-owned business?
00:20:32.040 And then she calls him a racial slur because he doesn't have his tribal solidarity, which
00:20:36.420 the Democrats are trying to gin up because they think it's the only way they can win the
00:20:39.220 election.
00:20:39.720 I think I'm going to walk into General Tsao's Chinese chicken palace and demand that it
00:20:44.480 become a Sicilian-owned business.
00:20:47.060 Why is this Chinese joint not Sicilian-owned?
00:20:49.540 I only eat at Sicilian-owned businesses.
00:20:51.600 I probably wouldn't be able to eat at very many places if I only went to Sicilian-owned
00:20:55.020 businesses, right?
00:20:56.520 One of the nice things about America is we don't have to check someone's racial pedigree
00:21:00.120 before we go in and buy a sandwich or a cup of iced tea.
00:21:03.600 But that's the point that the left wants us to get to.
00:21:05.800 By the way, what does it mean to be a black-owned business?
00:21:07.640 Because it's not just this kooky lady who goes into the shop.
00:21:10.540 This is not some fringe thing.
00:21:12.400 Uber Eats was giving special privileges to black-owned businesses.
00:21:17.020 You didn't have to pay a delivery fee if you aided a black-owned business.
00:21:22.140 They were actually giving out privileges based on race.
00:21:25.200 Well, what if your business, say, gives equity to five people and someone who owns 1% of the
00:21:32.420 business is black and then the people who own the other 99% of the business are like the
00:21:38.280 whitest people in the world?
00:21:39.040 Is that a black-owned business?
00:21:40.060 A black guy owns part of it.
00:21:41.480 How are we going to do it?
00:21:42.020 What if it's a guy who's half black and half Jewish?
00:21:46.580 I don't know.
00:21:47.740 How is that going to work?
00:21:49.120 How are we going to plug that into the racial victimhood calculator and figure out exactly
00:21:54.420 how much of that business we should shop at?
00:21:57.620 It doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
00:21:59.300 What it boils down to here, what this woman's argument is, is that it's cultural appropriation.
00:22:04.380 Now, I don't think that Bobati comes from Africa or from the American plantation before
00:22:10.560 the Civil War or something like that.
00:22:12.020 But she's calling it cultural appropriation.
00:22:16.060 Even if the point she were making, even if the premise that Bobati is somehow black,
00:22:21.020 even if that were true, cultural appropriation is a very good thing.
00:22:26.840 In fact, all culture has to be appropriated.
00:22:30.920 This is a big lie that the left doesn't seem, probably they don't understand it because they
00:22:34.820 don't know what culture is.
00:22:36.620 Culture relates to the word cultivation.
00:22:39.520 Relates to the word cult, for instance, right?
00:22:40.900 You cultivate something in yourself.
00:22:42.680 I was not born loving Beethoven, believe it or not.
00:22:46.380 Even though, you know, I don't think my mother ever played baby Beethoven for me.
00:22:49.700 Now, I think some like bourgeois white mothers do this in the cities.
00:22:53.500 They play Beethoven to their stomachs and they think their kids are going to become really
00:22:56.560 smart and sophisticated this way.
00:22:57.760 I did not have that.
00:22:58.540 I was not born listening to Beethoven.
00:23:01.020 But I like Beethoven very much.
00:23:02.260 Why?
00:23:02.340 Because I cultivated that taste.
00:23:04.400 I was not born smoking cigars.
00:23:06.600 I may as well have been because I started at an early age.
00:23:09.180 But I cultivated that taste.
00:23:11.220 I cultivated my appreciation of certain art.
00:23:13.200 Cultivated my appreciation of certain literature.
00:23:16.000 I was not born reading Italian.
00:23:18.340 Is that cultural appropriation?
00:23:19.420 I guess it is.
00:23:19.960 But it's great because now I get to read Dante.
00:23:21.780 All cultural is appropriated.
00:23:23.480 It's, by the way, the premise of immigration and assimilation in America.
00:23:27.440 We have the most open, we have a ridiculously open immigration system in America.
00:23:32.980 Which most people, by the way, want to dramatically curtail across racial groups.
00:23:36.300 But part of the reason we have any functioning immigration system at all is based on assimilation.
00:23:42.320 That you have to come in and appropriate the American culture.
00:23:45.480 And you have to give up some culture, too, when you do that.
00:23:49.100 What this woman is saying is, no, we're going to have a pedigree test.
00:23:51.780 We're going to check your blood, see exactly what percentage black you are.
00:23:55.100 Cultural appropriation is really good.
00:23:56.380 Who invented pasta?
00:23:58.040 Speaking of the Italians.
00:23:59.020 Was it the Italians?
00:23:59.600 We actually don't know.
00:24:00.280 Was it the Italians?
00:24:00.900 Was it the Chinese?
00:24:01.620 Was it somewhere in the middle?
00:24:02.380 We don't know.
00:24:03.240 We just like it.
00:24:04.020 It's good.
00:24:04.460 I'm glad.
00:24:04.820 Now everybody has pasta.
00:24:06.580 It's cultivating oneself.
00:24:09.260 But we're not allowed to have that.
00:24:10.700 We're moving in the opposite direction.
00:24:12.780 We have a completely degraded culture.
00:24:15.020 And the culture is decaying more and more by the day.
00:24:18.180 And we have, at the same time, coincidentally, divvying up racial groups.
00:24:22.900 So even down in Chicago.
00:24:24.960 You've got Chicago's mayor, Lori Lightfoot.
00:24:26.920 Who is presiding over essentially a failed state in America.
00:24:30.700 Right?
00:24:30.980 And this woman is the machine politician who's running it.
00:24:34.180 She's looking closely at what's happening in Kenosha.
00:24:38.920 They're monitoring the situation.
00:24:41.120 They're urging civil and criminal authorities in Kenosha to investigate the incident.
00:24:45.900 I'm so glad that Lori Lightfoot and Chicago is on the case.
00:24:49.820 You know how many individual shootings happened in Chicago over the weekend?
00:24:53.880 66.
00:24:55.900 There was one officer involved shooting here because a man resisted arrest and reached into
00:25:00.140 his car when they told him not to at the very last minute.
00:25:03.540 There's one of those in Kenosha.
00:25:04.960 66 shootings in Chicago.
00:25:06.320 Not a word.
00:25:06.900 They don't seem to be monitoring that.
00:25:08.540 They don't seem to be looking very closely at that.
00:25:10.340 Because they don't give a damn.
00:25:11.800 They don't care if one of these people dies or if all of these people die.
00:25:15.260 It's not about that at all.
00:25:17.580 Lori Lightfoot does not lose one second sleep over the killing, or I suppose not killing,
00:25:24.000 the shooting of this guy, Mr. Blake.
00:25:26.860 It's just a tool.
00:25:29.380 And it's amazing because there are still some conservatives who don't see it.
00:25:32.600 And so they feel really pressured to prove to these awful Democrats, you know, that they're
00:25:36.660 not racist.
00:25:37.460 Black Lives Matter.
00:25:38.600 It's terrible.
00:25:39.360 There's a scourge of police brutality where racist white supremacists are gunning down
00:25:44.420 all these innocent black men.
00:25:46.160 That isn't happening.
00:25:48.180 This is a cynical strategy being implemented for the election.
00:25:53.780 You're going to see this go away after November 3rd.
00:25:56.940 It'll crop up again.
00:25:58.100 I mean, these things happen.
00:25:58.880 But it's not going to be a major news story.
00:26:00.540 And it goes so much further than the shootings.
00:26:03.000 Right now, there's a group of black professors in universities who are demanding the abolition
00:26:08.340 of English, the language, the English language, white mainstream English is how they describe
00:26:15.580 it.
00:26:16.620 A subcommittee of an organization called the Conference on College Composition and Communication
00:26:20.200 named itself Why We Can't Breathe.
00:26:23.440 That's the subcommittee.
00:26:24.380 They published a list of demands calling for the abolition of white mainstream English
00:26:28.980 to make way for black linguistic justice.
00:26:32.600 That's the new one.
00:26:33.580 I thought that these euphemisms couldn't get crazier after Julian Castro during the 2020
00:26:40.760 Democratic presidential primary called for reproductive justice for trans women, meaning
00:26:47.220 men who can't have children.
00:26:49.160 But they basically called for abortions for men using all this cockamamie language with
00:26:52.420 the word justice.
00:26:53.220 But we've gotten a little black linguistic justice.
00:26:55.840 What is that?
00:26:56.360 Well, the first issue you might see here is that when we refer to white mainstream English
00:27:01.680 as a terrible thing, you might recall that English is not just a language.
00:27:06.200 English is also a people known for that language.
00:27:09.180 And the English people are very, very white.
00:27:12.100 So you cannot separate the history of the English language from white people because the English
00:27:19.140 are white.
00:27:20.080 But I suppose this is a great injustice that the English are white.
00:27:24.240 The English should have looked different than the English do.
00:27:26.280 Six authors include a Michigan State professor, Cal State professor, Cal State Fullerton.
00:27:31.080 Cal State always goes really far left on these things.
00:27:33.520 A Boston University professor, Texas Christian University professor, and a University of
00:27:39.460 Alabama at Birmingham scholar.
00:27:41.040 Here's the statement.
00:27:42.220 In case you've forgotten what we mean when we say Black Lives Matter, we stand with the
00:27:46.660 words of the three radical black organizers and freedom fighters dreamers, quote unquote.
00:27:51.380 Alicia Garza, Patrice Colors, and Opal Tometi, who created the historic political project Black
00:27:56.640 Lives Matter.
00:27:57.100 Those are explicitly the three women who are self-described trained Marxists.
00:28:02.600 You saw that video of Patrice Colors coming out and saying, yeah, me and Alicia were trained
00:28:08.300 Marxists.
00:28:09.120 Then you saw photos of Opal Tometi smiling with the communist dictator of Venezuela, among
00:28:13.760 other communist provocations.
00:28:17.760 This is all part of a plan.
00:28:20.740 The plan is to undermine Western civilization.
00:28:22.760 We said earlier that the police are a stand-in for American law.
00:28:25.360 Well, here, white mainstream English is a stand-in for the very method of communication, the
00:28:33.320 very idea that we can have objective communication.
00:28:36.320 They go for language on the left.
00:28:37.940 They focus on it with political correctness.
00:28:39.680 They focus on it with cancel culture.
00:28:41.160 They focus on it here with the abolition of English for one reason.
00:28:44.800 If you can talk to one another across racial groups, sexual groups, national groups, if you
00:28:51.220 can speak to one another, then you can have objective conversation and debate.
00:28:57.020 The only way you and I can communicate right now is because there is an objective reality
00:29:00.680 outside of me and you that we are using symbols called words and letters to refer to
00:29:05.360 so we can use our faculties of reason, which perceive objective reality, to discuss that
00:29:10.260 thing and try to get a closer handle on it.
00:29:11.900 If the left wants to destroy that kind of politics, that authentic politics, self-government,
00:29:18.440 debate, they've got to destroy language, which they have been trying to do now for at least
00:29:23.600 100 years and which these authors, who I suspect are somewhat intelligent and somewhat educated,
00:29:30.480 they know exactly what they're doing because they're not even just using the slogan, which
00:29:33.320 a lot of squishy people who are ignorant of the subject say.
00:29:36.080 They say Black Lives Matter.
00:29:37.140 They don't know that it's a radical Marxist group.
00:29:39.240 These professors calling for the abolition of English are naming the Marxists.
00:29:44.160 They know exactly what they're doing.
00:29:46.460 That's the point.
00:29:47.760 That's the point.
00:29:49.280 Unless you need just a cherry on top of this proof that the Democrats don't care a whit about
00:29:56.700 racial justice and that all of this is just about burning down the country for the election.
00:30:00.740 Joe Biden just picked up an endorsement of the most well-known, self-described, white
00:30:08.600 identitarian, which you would call the most clear white racist in the country, Richard
00:30:15.040 Spencer.
00:30:15.640 Richard Spencer, who they always peg on Trump, even though he doesn't support Trump, has
00:30:20.080 now endorsed Joe Biden.
00:30:21.160 The media has gone completely quiet over it.
00:30:23.060 We will get to what that means in just a second.
00:30:25.400 We will get to the RNC, which kicked off last night.
00:30:27.160 First, though, I've got to thank you.
00:30:29.200 Thank you for subscribing to the Michael Knoll Show YouTube channel.
00:30:32.220 We appreciate it.
00:30:33.460 It's good to give Ben, you know, those clicks and stuff on the Daily Wire YouTube channel,
00:30:37.400 but frankly, for me, I consider it really wonderful when you go over to the Michael Knoll
00:30:41.280 Show YouTube channel.
00:30:42.340 Also, we're going to be covering the RNC tonight.
00:30:45.300 You can hang out with Drew Klavan.
00:30:46.860 He's going to be giving his all-access view of the RNC.
00:30:50.200 I will be doing that later in the week, and then we'll have a backstage where we can all
00:30:53.840 chat about it and argue and laugh at the RNC, so we can do that later.
00:30:58.260 And head on over right now.
00:30:59.320 If you are not an all-access member, that is our top tier of membership.
00:31:02.320 If you subscribe, you will get not one, but two leftist-tears tumblers.
00:31:06.540 You get to chat with us, the hosts and the writers and the whole team, and then all the
00:31:10.200 other all-access members in the all-access, in the discussions.
00:31:14.080 We have a great time doing it.
00:31:15.540 Plus, you'll get 20% off right now.
00:31:17.780 Go to dailywire.com slash Knolls, K-N-N-W-L-E-S.
00:31:20.780 Use the code ACCESS, you'll get 20% off, and not one, but two leftist-tears tumblers.
00:31:25.940 We will get to the white identitarian endorsement of Joe Biden.
00:31:30.860 We will get to the RNC.
00:31:32.700 Stick around for a lot more.
00:31:46.500 Richard Spencer, the well-known white identitarian, endorses Joe Biden.
00:31:50.580 He tweets out, quote, I plan to vote for Biden and a straight Democratic ticket.
00:31:54.980 It's not based on accelerationism or anything like that.
00:31:57.740 The liberals are clearly more competent people.
00:32:00.080 The word accelerationism, we actually mentioned it a little bit, maybe a week ago.
00:32:04.360 It refers to this Marxist concept about the acceleration of contradictions within the capitalist
00:32:09.620 system, within our traditional system, that basically the seeds of our civilization are
00:32:13.740 built in.
00:32:15.300 The seeds of our own destruction are built in.
00:32:17.060 And so eventually you're going to see these contradictions and the civilization is going
00:32:20.480 to collapse.
00:32:21.320 This is occasionally picked up, sometimes ironically or tongue-in-cheek, by various other groups
00:32:28.060 who are not explicitly Marxist.
00:32:29.500 In this case, it's this white identitarian who's referring to, presumably he's referring to
00:32:34.100 this acceleration, specifically on racial grounds.
00:32:36.740 But he's saying it's actually not that.
00:32:38.760 In other words, he's not going to vote for Biden so that things get way worse and then
00:32:43.700 the whole system will collapse and we'll either become Marxist or we'll become fascist, we'll
00:32:48.560 become, we'll go back to the feudal ages.
00:32:52.020 It's not what he's saying.
00:32:53.620 He's saying, I'm voting for the Democrats because they're more competent people.
00:32:58.180 More competent.
00:32:58.980 What does that mean?
00:33:00.060 We're saying the nation doesn't burn down under Democrats.
00:33:02.480 This is the same argument that Joe Biden has been making, right?
00:33:06.340 Joe Biden, when the country was being lit on fire a few months ago for the, for the first
00:33:10.480 time this cycle, he said, we can't take four more years of this.
00:33:13.480 That was a threat.
00:33:15.100 Who's doing the burning?
00:33:16.340 It's not Republicans.
00:33:17.640 It's not, it's not white supremacists.
00:33:19.600 It's not, the Democrats are doing the burning and Antifa and Black Lives Matter.
00:33:23.920 And they're saying, look, vote for us and we'll stop burning the country down.
00:33:27.480 And I actually think that's what Spencer's seeing here.
00:33:29.500 He says, look, the country doesn't burn when Democrats are in charge.
00:33:32.480 Now, it's an extortion racket is what's, what the Democrats are doing.
00:33:36.520 But he says, yeah, whatever.
00:33:37.760 And he doesn't have any particular love for, for Donald Trump because Donald Trump's not
00:33:41.340 a white identitarian, no matter what the mainstream media try to say about him.
00:33:45.360 Next time they call Trump the candidate of the racists, the white identitarians, whatever.
00:33:51.480 And make sure you remind them that Richard Spencer just unironically endorsed Joe Biden.
00:33:56.520 So who's endorsing Donald Trump?
00:33:58.200 Who's speaking?
00:33:58.720 The RNC kicked off.
00:33:59.640 They've got a big, long speaker lineup.
00:34:02.260 I'll give some thoughts on the RNC generally.
00:34:04.700 But they did have some big winners here, one of whom we spoke to.
00:34:09.340 I was, it was either on my show or I may have been filling in for Ben Shapiro's show.
00:34:13.840 But I spoke to Mark McCloskey.
00:34:15.500 He's the one half of the gun couple in St. Louis that defended their lives and property
00:34:20.840 when an armed mob broke through their gates and threatened them.
00:34:24.200 And you'll remember he was wearing that pink polo shirt and those white chinos.
00:34:28.720 And I felt he should be on the next Brooks Brothers catalog cover, but they're probably
00:34:32.460 not going to put him there.
00:34:33.440 So he and his wife, the McCloskeys, went out and they gave a rousing speech at the RNC.
00:34:39.080 Take a listen.
00:34:39.480 America is such a great country that not only do you have the right to own a gun and use
00:34:44.940 it to defend yourself, but thousands of Americans will offer you free advice on how to use it.
00:34:51.040 At least that's what we experienced.
00:34:53.260 What you saw happen to us could just as easily happen to any of you who are watching from
00:34:58.180 quiet neighborhoods around our country.
00:35:00.440 And that's what we want to speak to you about tonight.
00:35:03.360 That's exactly right.
00:35:06.340 Whether it's the defunding of police, ending cash bail so criminals can be released back
00:35:12.020 out on the streets the same day to riot again, or encouraging anarchy and chaos on our streets.
00:35:19.120 It seems as if the Democrats no longer view the government's job as protecting honest citizens
00:35:25.280 from criminals, but rather protecting criminals from honest citizens.
00:35:29.520 Not a single person in the out-of-control mob you saw at our house was charged with a crime.
00:35:37.180 But you know who was?
00:35:39.160 We were.
00:35:41.020 We were.
00:35:41.860 This was a very, very effective speech.
00:35:45.020 This was one of, if not the most effective speech during the whole convention.
00:35:50.500 Why?
00:35:51.120 It opened up with humor, right?
00:35:52.720 You saw the woman, she goes, listen, when you become a national viral sort of superstar
00:35:58.800 because the mob comes after you.
00:36:01.320 You'll get a lot of people giving you advice.
00:36:02.980 Some of them were giving you advice on how to hold a gun because people were making fun
00:36:05.760 of them for brandishing their weapons all over the place.
00:36:08.900 It was funny.
00:36:10.060 It contained a legitimate warning for what's going on right now, and it focused on the leftist
00:36:15.700 inversion of justice.
00:36:17.040 What a great tool at the end there.
00:36:18.380 He says, the marauding criminals who broke onto my property weren't thrown in jail.
00:36:22.640 You know who they're threatening to throw in jail?
00:36:23.860 Me.
00:36:25.100 And by the way, if they're threatening to throw me in jail, they're threatening to throw you
00:36:28.020 in jail.
00:36:28.560 I loved this.
00:36:29.340 I loved the choice of having them speak.
00:36:31.120 A more cautious convention would not have had them speak because they're just regular
00:36:35.260 people, right?
00:36:35.980 They're just people who are, we only know their names because the mob, both in the literal
00:36:40.880 physical mob and then the online mob came for them one day.
00:36:44.480 But this is what the GOP's got to do.
00:36:46.700 They've got to point to regular old people.
00:36:49.080 And by the way, that doesn't mean a certain class of people or a certain race of people.
00:36:52.200 The McCloskeys are very, very wealthy.
00:36:53.620 It's actually part of why they were targeted in the first place by the mob.
00:36:56.460 Now, it doesn't matter.
00:36:58.080 We can all identify with the McCloskeys because they're not known for their wealth.
00:37:03.240 What they're known for is the mob coming after them.
00:37:05.760 And the RNC giving a voice to those kinds of people who feel that no one's speaking for
00:37:10.040 them, whether they're a zillionaire or whether they're a factory worker, when they're being
00:37:13.020 come at unjustly, that is a very effective strategy.
00:37:16.880 You know, the Democrats learned a little bit, or the Republicans rather learned a little
00:37:20.520 bit from the Democrats, from their convention, which was super produced.
00:37:23.180 And it just didn't work.
00:37:25.440 It was very boring.
00:37:26.200 So the Republicans, for most of the speeches, had people just come up to a podium, give a
00:37:29.540 speech.
00:37:30.280 But they didn't learn enough because the speeches, first of all, didn't have a crowd.
00:37:33.280 So it sounded kind of weird.
00:37:34.380 They'd give these rousing lines and then nobody's applauding.
00:37:36.840 And they were a little too divorced from reality.
00:37:38.820 And they were a little too polished.
00:37:40.500 And they weren't speaking in many ways to the issues that we've got right now.
00:37:46.060 But some were.
00:37:48.280 I mean, some moments were.
00:37:49.460 We're not going to go through every single speech.
00:37:51.360 And obviously, everybody out here is trying to do their best job.
00:37:53.980 The Republicans are trying to go out there and win the election.
00:37:57.320 So I want to just focus on people that you might not have heard.
00:37:59.800 The McCloskeys, for one.
00:38:02.240 And then this great guy, Maximo Alvarez.
00:38:06.820 Maximo Alvarez, who comes out.
00:38:10.760 He's another guy you probably haven't heard of.
00:38:12.580 And he speaks about his experience, his perspective from outside of America, then looking into
00:38:19.980 America at the Democratic ticket.
00:38:22.100 There's no place to hide.
00:38:24.560 I'm speaking to you today because President Trump may not always be politically correct.
00:38:31.240 He's, in fact, a successful businessman.
00:38:34.520 You know, your average career politician.
00:38:37.600 Our president is just another family man.
00:38:39.780 A friend, a friend, a most important, our elected commander-in-chief who puts America first.
00:38:50.480 Keep in mind, the other guy running for president is mostly concerned about power.
00:38:55.740 Yes, yes, power for them.
00:38:59.380 But not for the benefit of all Americans.
00:39:01.500 I'm speaking to you today because I have seen people like this before.
00:39:08.820 I've seen movements like this before.
00:39:11.720 I've seen ideas like this before.
00:39:15.040 And I am here to tell you, we cannot let them take over our country.
00:39:21.500 He's seen it before.
00:39:22.600 What's he referring to?
00:39:23.300 He's referring to Fidel Castro.
00:39:24.460 He's referring to these people who are now openly campaigning in the name of Marxism.
00:39:30.960 Even though we thought they were just liberals.
00:39:32.640 But many of them now are openly campaigning in the name of Marxism and in the name of Marxists.
00:39:37.720 And he calls it out.
00:39:38.920 People like to see that.
00:39:40.460 We all like to see our kind of favorite political celebrities.
00:39:44.000 Sometimes that's interesting.
00:39:45.280 But much, much more important this year.
00:39:48.500 We just want to see people speaking the truth.
00:39:51.140 When he says that the Democrats are running to get more power, in a way, this is like a truism, right?
00:39:56.040 Because people run for office to have power to do things.
00:39:59.680 But he says, but they're not interested in using power for the benefit of all Americans.
00:40:04.100 And that's true.
00:40:05.000 That's undeniably true.
00:40:06.520 Whether you think Trump is good at using power or not, it seems clear to me he is exercising power for all Americans.
00:40:14.300 One of the few themes he comes back to again and again is, we all bleed the same blood of patriots.
00:40:19.420 We all need to have national loyalty.
00:40:21.540 We all need to be able to speak our minds in public because it's the only way we can have self-government.
00:40:25.540 It's the only way we can have unity.
00:40:27.180 And what do the Democrats say?
00:40:28.420 They say, black people can never get ahead in America.
00:40:31.800 You should burn down cities.
00:40:32.980 We shouldn't be peaceful.
00:40:34.580 Some of the politicians, and I say, by the way, only some are still calling for people remaining peaceful.
00:40:42.400 Others are not.
00:40:43.020 Do you remember when Chris Cuomo, Fredo Cuomo on CNN, said, show me where it says that assemblies have to be peaceful?
00:40:51.760 You say, well, it's in the Constitution, first of all.
00:40:53.580 It's right there in the First Amendment.
00:40:55.660 But even openly on CNN saying, yeah, maybe you can be violent.
00:40:59.060 Maybe it's a good thing to be violent.
00:41:00.900 Sean King saying, go out there, be violent.
00:41:03.380 Hillary Clinton saying, you can't be civil with people who disagree with you.
00:41:07.200 Right?
00:41:07.920 Maxine Waters saying, go mob Republicans where you see them, wherever you see them in the streets.
00:41:11.080 They're saying, go out there.
00:41:14.100 When we win, we're going to be good for our people and bad for your people, Republicans.
00:41:18.960 You don't, this is not an issue where the two sides are equal here.
00:41:24.000 This is an issue where one side says they want to help all Americans.
00:41:28.060 The other side said they only want to help, they only want to help Democrats.
00:41:33.820 So what do they do?
00:41:34.760 They try to burn down the country.
00:41:36.260 They try to delegitimize the election.
00:41:37.840 They've got all these cockamamie conspiracy theories about the post office.
00:41:41.080 Democrats who are trying to steal the election through widespread mail-in ballots are now
00:41:47.640 saying that Republicans are trying to steal the election by defunding the post office that
00:41:51.620 they just gave $10 billion to.
00:41:53.000 The postmaster general, Louis DeJoy, just came out, tried to pour some water on these
00:41:57.000 conspiracy theories.
00:41:58.540 As part of this conversation, there are many inaccuracies about my actions that I wish to
00:42:04.360 again, correct.
00:42:06.620 First, I did not direct the removal of blue collection boxes or the removal of mail processing
00:42:13.120 equipment.
00:42:14.640 Second, I did not direct the cutback on hours at any of our post offices.
00:42:20.320 And finally, I did not direct the elimination or any cutback in overtime.
00:42:24.980 I did, however, suspend these practices to remove any misperceptions about our commitment to
00:42:34.160 delivering the nation's election mail.
00:42:36.720 Any further assertions by the media or elected officials is furthering a false narrative to
00:42:42.580 the American people.
00:42:43.460 Of course, of course, that's the case.
00:42:46.760 But the left doesn't care.
00:42:48.780 They're going to, I don't think that they're pushing conspiracy theories because they think
00:42:51.620 they're true.
00:42:52.640 I don't think they're pushing conspiracy theories because they even know that they're false.
00:42:56.260 I think they're pushing conspiracy theories because they just don't care.
00:42:59.340 And they're more than willing to burn down the country or threaten to burn down our body
00:43:02.580 politic to win an election.
00:43:05.740 And they just don't care.
00:43:06.680 And they're just going to do it.
00:43:07.540 That's the threat.
00:43:08.180 But what do we call this kind of violence against, metaphorical violence against our
00:43:14.380 political system and literal violence in the streets?
00:43:16.260 What do we call it?
00:43:17.200 The word that keeps cropping up is senseless.
00:43:19.760 You always hear senseless violence whenever it suits a narrative.
00:43:23.180 Right now, let's take it all the way to the religious level.
00:43:25.560 We always quote Henry Cardinal Manning on this show who said that at bottom all conflict
00:43:30.240 is theological.
00:43:33.220 Right now throughout the West, churches are being burned down.
00:43:36.300 Right now on earth, Christians are the most persecuted religious group in the world.
00:43:42.220 Right now, people are being attacked at churches.
00:43:44.500 This just happened in Philadelphia.
00:43:46.360 Philly Police Department is trying to find a woman who hit a female lector in the face
00:43:51.260 during a Sunday morning Novus Ordo Mass in the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and
00:43:56.880 Paul.
00:43:57.780 This is a Catholic mass.
00:43:58.880 Someone comes up and socks the woman in the face.
00:44:00.880 The Philadelphia Archbishop Nelson Perez says,
00:44:04.100 During the 11 a.m. mass, which was broadcast live via my Facebook page and Archdiocese and
00:44:10.360 Vimeo channel, a senseless act of aggression took place.
00:44:14.280 One of the lectors was punched by someone in the congregation as she left the altar.
00:44:18.100 Senseless act of aggression.
00:44:20.020 Is it senseless?
00:44:21.800 The people who are perpetrating this violence are trying to bring about senselessness.
00:44:27.780 They're trying to bring about a politics, a culture, and a religious world in which we
00:44:34.160 can't debate anything, where language itself is taken from us, where we can't refer to objective
00:44:38.960 reality, where there is said to be no such thing as objective truth, only your truth and
00:44:42.920 my truth and my feelings and my oppression and my passions that I'm going to vent by burning
00:44:47.460 down the country.
00:44:48.100 They're trying to affect senselessness, but the way in which they're trying to do that is highly
00:44:55.360 sensible, highly reasonable, highly logical.
00:44:58.680 They know that they cannot win in a traditional debate, in a traditional discussion, in traditional
00:45:06.440 self-government.
00:45:07.400 So they're trying to burn down the edifice.
00:45:09.700 We should be highly sensitive to that plan, to that tactic.
00:45:12.940 That is a real strategy, and unless we wake up to the logic of that strategy, we're going
00:45:19.880 to lose logic and reason and sensible political debate, and then we're going to lose our self-government.
00:45:25.620 That's what they're trying to push forward.
00:45:26.700 It's only going to get worse until November 3rd.
00:45:29.160 That's our show.
00:45:29.800 Let's hope we can keep it together until then.
