President Trump is fighting in court to win another four years.
00:00:42.240
But if that doesn't work out for him, he is not losing hope, and he doesn't want you to lose hope either.
00:00:49.280
It's been an amazing four years. We're trying to win another four years.
00:00:56.980
Otherwise, he'll see us in four years. The show keeps going on.
00:01:01.920
I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:12.960
My favorite comment from yesterday is from Haley, who says,
00:01:16.280
If the founding fathers were alive, they would have voted for Trump.
00:01:21.340
Unfortunately, they are dead, so they probably voted for Biden.
00:01:24.120
This is true. That's something that the Biden campaign can brag about.
00:01:27.040
I'm sure every single one of the founding fathers did vote for him.
00:01:33.840
That's where the Constitutional Convention was.
00:01:42.160
Is the Trump campaign going to win these legal battles?
00:01:47.800
Are they going to keep fighting for four years?
00:01:49.940
There is a lot of endurance that's being shown by the Trump campaign.
00:01:54.640
By the way, if you want to keep up your endurance, you've got to check out Liquid IV.
00:01:58.340
Liquid IV for when you're out there, you're athletic.
00:02:04.080
But if you also maybe stay out late and have a few Coca-Colas with the boys,
00:02:10.680
You know, cooler weather makes it easier to miss signs of dehydration,
00:02:17.640
which means that it's even more important to keep your body properly hydrated.
00:02:22.000
With one stick of Liquid IV in 16 ounces of water,
00:02:26.060
you will get two to three times the amount of hydration as plain water.
00:02:30.520
The other great thing about Liquid IV is that it tastes excellent.
00:02:34.280
I was afraid that it was going to taste like some syrupy, awful, terrible concoction.
00:02:37.960
It does, and all the flavors I've tried taste absolutely great.
00:02:41.300
Perfect for staying hydrated this holiday season.
00:02:48.180
Maybe you're going to be hitting the eggnog a little too hard.
00:02:50.800
Maybe you're going to be playing football with the family.
00:02:56.440
Liquid IV's best-selling hydration multiplier now has three flavors.
00:03:06.220
Liquid IV is available at Walmart in the beverage section,

00:03:31.360
President Trump is pushing for four more years.
00:03:35.720
He's going to duke this thing out in court, presumably until the electors vote on December 14th.
00:03:40.360
And then if it doesn't work out, he'll run again.
00:03:43.260
That's at least what he said at the White House Christmas party.
00:03:45.160
Maybe he is just putting that out into the world.
00:03:53.880
I think right now, there are conservatives on both sides of this question
00:04:03.640
If we don't win this race, then we're not going to vote for senators.
00:04:08.640
Then we're going to basically give up on the political process.
00:04:11.600
The other side says, Trump's got to concede now.
00:04:13.860
If he doesn't concede to Joe Biden, he's destroying the norms of our constitution.
00:04:18.760
If he follows the constitutional process, he'll be behaving in such an unconstitutional way.
00:04:40.760
That is the prerequisite of all the other virtues.
00:04:45.780
We need to fight this as though this is the battle.
00:04:53.080
But we need to recognize there are going to be other battles.
00:04:57.840
If President Trump is looking ahead at the future and saying,
00:05:06.720
If you guys do manage to win this at the level of the courts,
00:05:16.960
including some of the most vocal defenders of President Trump.
00:05:20.580
Sean Hannity on his program the other day was speaking with the lawyer Sidney Powell.
00:05:25.220
And Sean Hannity suggested that if Biden becomes president,
00:05:31.120
that he should issue a pardon for himself and for his family.
00:05:36.500
I watched Andrew Weissman come out and literally say,
00:05:42.460
And I'm like, the president out the door needs to pardon his whole family and himself
00:05:46.260
because they want this witch hunt to go on in perpetuity.
00:05:49.780
They're so full of rage and insanity against the president.
00:05:52.840
I mean, can the president, I assume that the power of the pardon is absolute
00:05:58.440
and that he should be able to pardon anybody that he wants to.
00:06:04.260
I don't know about his authority to pardon himself, but it should not be necessary.
00:06:09.940
And aside from that, the president's going to get another four years in office to finish the job he started.
00:06:14.900
So Sidney Powell is still really holding out hope.
00:06:18.060
We'll get in one second to her legal strategy here.
00:06:22.080
You'll recall that Sidney Powell is not working officially with the Trump legal campaign.
00:06:26.760
While the Trump campaign is focusing on specific matters of election fraud and unconstitutionality in Pennsylvania,
00:06:34.540
Sidney Powell is pursuing this idea that there was a national, very widespread hacking scheme to shift votes.
00:06:45.140
But to Sean Hannity's point, it seems to me that's not the right attitude to have.
00:06:53.080
The Biden legal team is going to try to go after Trump.
00:06:57.220
They are going to have a lot of encouragement from the base to these frothing jackals of the Democratic base to go after Trump once he leaves office.
00:07:07.000
But I don't think Trump should pardon himself because Trump hasn't done anything illegal.
00:07:16.200
And, you know, I think that's sort of Hannity's point.
00:07:18.160
He says whatever they go after Trump for, he should just pardon himself now.
00:07:22.240
We certainly haven't seen that sort of thing in American history.
00:07:24.880
I think if Trump were to do anything of that sort, it would be giving in too much.
00:07:30.960
It would be giving in to despair and discouragement.
00:07:33.580
It would be giving in to fear, servile fear, by saying, I think they're going to come get me, so I exonerate myself.
00:07:40.420
But whatever they accuse me of, I didn't do it.
00:07:42.200
And it would be, in a way, an admission of guilt.
00:07:48.640
In America, we do not have a political tradition of jailing our vanquished politicians, at least at the presidential level.
00:07:57.320
And we don't have a tradition of jailing our political opponents in this country, even though some of them probably do deserve jail.
00:08:04.180
For instance, some people who were the former, future first female president four years ago, you know, those sort of people, there is evidence that they've done things that are illegal.
00:08:13.900
We still don't put them in prison because that's what tinpot dictatorships do.
00:08:17.780
That's what banana republics do, and we don't want to do that.
00:08:19.760
If President Trump were to pardon himself, as Sean is describing here, it would be a sort of concession that we're now living in the world where we jail our political opponents once they leave the presidency.
00:08:34.920
I understand why people are reacting with such extremes to this legal process right now, either to saying the whole country is completely over or to saying that Trump's got to give up immediately or the country is over.
00:08:50.340
I've noticed women especially don't like tension.
00:08:54.540
But generally, we all don't like uncertainty, and so we want to resolve the uncertainty, even if it resolves in a way that is unpleasant, even if it resolves in a way that we're fearing, even if it resolves to the point that we're now saying we jail our political opponents once they leave the presidency.
00:09:10.600
But they just, because we don't like the apprehension, we just want some conclusion, so we don't need to be in suspense.
00:09:20.900
And if you keep up that sort of attitude where you say, oh, okay, you're going to do your worst to me?
00:09:33.500
Now, you heard Sidney Powell on that clip mention that she is convinced that there is this nationwide election fraud, and not just that there's nationwide election fraud, but that they will prove this in court, and President Trump will get another four years in office, which she's describing a sort of confidence here that I think even President Trump is not necessarily displaying.
00:09:56.180
The election fraud we are uncovering is massive, and there were foreign actors involved in our system.
00:10:04.800
People from Germany and Serbia and China were all in our election the night it happened.
00:10:11.940
So I have no doubt that foreign actors tried to interfere in the election.
00:10:23.200
The left said that the Russians tried to interfere in the presidential election.
00:10:29.260
But I don't deny that the Russians tried to interfere.
00:10:32.400
Foreign actors tried to interfere in every single election.
00:10:36.900
With the so-called Russiagate, they bought $100,000 worth of Facebook ads.
00:10:41.020
Media companies spend that in a week on Facebook ads.
00:10:46.620
Now, Sidney Powell's claim is that these foreign actors were actually going and hacking the voting system, shifting the votes.
00:10:51.800
Again, I have no doubt that they would do it if they could.
00:10:54.740
I have no doubt that they are that corrupt and they want to mess up our system.
00:11:06.100
You know, we have, what, less than 10 days now until, no, I guess about 10 days until,
00:11:12.800
So, how much longer before we, how much longer do we have to wait?
00:11:17.360
How much longer do we have to be in the suspense and apprehension to see this evidence of the hacking?
00:11:21.780
It's not enough to say, I have a hunch that this happened.
00:11:27.040
It's not enough to say this could have happened.
00:11:32.000
You have to prove it with certain, that's just a descriptive fact of our political and judicial system.
00:11:37.820
You've got to prove it with a high degree of persuasion.
00:11:44.260
So, I hope that she brings the goods, but as of now, we haven't seen it.
00:11:48.080
Now, there is specific evidence of fraud in certain cases, not even just at the presidential level.
00:11:53.040
In one congressional race in New York, involving a congressional candidate that I actually know personally,
00:11:59.640
the two candidates, the Democratic incumbent and the Republican challenger, are separated by 12 votes.
00:12:09.100
I want to talk about going out there, even if it's a system that's vulnerable to fraud.
00:12:13.540
So, New York's 22nd congressional district, you've got the Republican Claudia Tenney,
00:12:18.080
has a 12-vote lead over the Democratic incumbent, Anthony Brindisi.
00:12:26.560
Because that means Claudia's going to win, the Republican's going to win.
00:12:30.420
It's been almost a month now since the elections.
00:12:34.620
I think we should be able to count our ballots by now.
00:12:40.440
We can't even count our ballots within a month.
00:12:44.580
We have to keep counting the ballots until the Democrat wins.
00:12:50.620
Conveniently, they just found a batch of 55 ballots.
00:12:56.680
They were underneath the mail truck or something.
00:13:01.080
The Chenango County Attorney, Alan Gordon, said that election officials determined that
00:13:06.400
of these 55 ballots found, 44 of them are valid.
00:13:09.780
Now, the other way to read that is 11 of these votes were fraudulent, were ineligible.
00:13:20.240
44 could swing an election easily if the election is right now hanging by 12 votes.
00:13:26.780
So, this county attorney has advised the Board of Elections to secure the ballots, leave
00:13:33.440
them unopened in their offices, and obviously throw out the ones that are illegitimate, but
00:13:44.140
I hope that they weren't just being held in case they were needed by the Democrats.
00:13:48.300
But when the votes trickle in and trickle in and trickle in until the Democrats win, that
00:13:57.320
It discourages us in some way because we feel like we can't win.
00:14:03.320
And there's a lot of uncertainty right now, of course.
00:14:07.080
But do we want to just throw up our hands or do we want to actually try to secure our
00:14:11.160
One way to secure your future when there's a lot of uncertainty is to invest in gold.
00:14:15.080
Now, there's a difficulty with investing in gold.
00:14:22.580
I don't know if you've been paying attention to that recently.
00:14:25.440
You can't usually just go down to the local dime store and buy a bar of gold.
00:14:29.040
You probably don't have that cash lying around.
00:14:30.600
Well, Acre has figured out this brilliant way to invest in gold.
00:14:35.060
You can invest in gold bars for just $30 a month.
00:14:45.360
And then once your stash has reached the amount of the gold bar, Acre will discreetly ship
00:14:55.560
Very important, especially when times are crazy, especially when people don't know that
00:15:01.940
It's just a good hedge against a lot of uncertainty.
00:15:04.940
I've always enjoyed investing in precious metals.
00:15:07.300
Right now, by the way, Acre just recently introduced their new $100 per month subscription
00:15:12.580
Visit getacregold.com slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S.
00:15:19.620
Make sure you go to this URL because Acre is giving away a gold bar.
00:15:25.860
The way to qualify is to tweet or post why you should be the recipient and mention
00:15:34.080
And thank you, Acre Gold, for supporting the show.
00:15:36.640
Now, there is evidence of shenanigans, of irregularities, but I don't think we should
00:15:48.900
President Trump is saying, go out, keep up the fight, vote for the Republicans in Georgia,
00:15:53.700
make sure we hold the Georgia Senate seats, so therefore we will hold the Senate majority.
00:15:59.380
There are some people who are saying, don't even vote in Georgia.
00:16:01.700
Georgia don't justify, don't legitimize this fraudulent voting system.
00:16:08.020
I completely sympathize with that point of view.
00:16:10.720
I empathize with it, I guess, because it feels as though in many places where it counts,
00:16:18.060
Conveniently, a pipe bursts and, oh, we got to stop counting.
00:16:23.260
Oh, hey guys, maybe you can keep counting now that those Republicans are gone.
00:16:26.420
Oh, look, it's going to the Democrats in Pennsylvania.
00:16:29.180
Oh, sorry, we're not allowed to have Republican poll watchers here in New York with Claudia's
00:16:37.080
It's easy to just throw your hands up in the air.
00:16:41.120
That is not going to be a winning strategy going forward because we are still going to
00:16:47.380
live here and either we're going to have, well, if Joe Biden does become president,
00:16:51.360
either we're going to have bad government or if he becomes president with a Democratic Senate
00:16:56.140
majority, we're going to have really bad government.
00:16:57.760
And if we just check out of the process altogether, we're going to have really, really, really
00:17:02.540
So you've got to pick the lesser of these two bad situations.
00:17:07.700
Ben is actually going to be talking about this on the show.
00:17:09.440
He's going to be talking about this move to sort of throw up your hands and not vote in
00:17:12.780
Georgia and why it's important that we actually do vote in Georgia.
00:17:16.380
Now, there are other ways to challenge the election, even beyond the Electoral College
00:17:22.180
So the Electoral College votes on December 14th.
00:17:23.760
Then the Congress is going to have the opportunity to challenge that vote.
00:17:32.360
And Alabama Republican Representative Mo Brooks is telling his colleagues that he plans to
00:17:38.020
challenge the results of the Electoral College vote if the body votes to certify Democratic
00:17:44.120
presidential candidate Joe Biden as the next president.
00:17:51.740
Then if a member of the House and a member of the Senate raise this objection and challenge
00:17:59.900
the Electoral College vote, this opens up the floor to debate.
00:18:05.540
The floor of the House and the Senate will have to deliberate on this matter.
00:18:11.280
But if it comes to that, then that last ditch effort and $1.50 will get you a cup of coffee.
00:18:20.080
The Senate, I hope, remains in Republican control.
00:18:24.720
It would be a strong way to basically scream against the wind, but it probably would not
00:18:32.140
And right now, we need to keep up the fight for the presidency and for the Senate, but
00:18:39.160
we also have to look at probabilities and realities so that we can make the most of our
00:18:45.920
So we mentioned yesterday that Bill Barr came out and said so far he hasn't seen evidence
00:18:49.620
of widespread hacking, sort of the fraud that Sidney Powell's talking about.
00:18:54.720
He since came out, by the way, and tempered that statement.
00:18:56.740
He said, I'm not saying there's no fraud that went on.
00:18:59.200
I'm not even saying there's not enough fraud to overturn the election.
00:19:08.860
But in the meantime, Bill Barr did something behind the scenes that I think is very important.
00:19:14.900
This is a criminal investigation into the origins of the Russia hoax and into wrongdoing at the
00:19:21.080
FBI and the DOJ and the deep state, the blob, right?
00:19:24.460
And there's a big worry here that if Joe Biden becomes president, there goes John Durham.
00:19:31.560
We're not going to find out how the Russia hoax started.
00:19:33.860
We're not going to find out if Joe Biden was involved in that because there's a lot of evidence
00:19:36.780
that he was or that Susan Rice was involved in that or that Barack Obama was involved in
00:19:43.800
So what Bill Barr just did, and he did it surreptitiously, is he made John Durham a special counsel.
00:19:52.000
It's the same procedure that created the Mueller investigation.
00:19:56.780
The special counsel has much more latitude to conduct an investigation.
00:20:02.380
What this means is that if Joe Biden does become president, he's not going to be able
00:20:08.940
So there's a greater chance that we'll get some results.
00:20:14.380
We're always told that these investigations are going to uncover corruption and all these
00:20:18.780
guys are getting holed off to jail, which probably is not even a great idea anyway, but you do
00:20:23.520
You do want them to face justice, especially these lower level guys, John Brennan, Clapper.
00:20:29.040
These guys actually probably should see an orange jumpsuit.
00:20:35.520
When it's Democrats alleging that they come up with nothing, even when it's Republicans,
00:20:46.160
OK, fine, we've got to drag that out when that is the best option that we have.
00:20:53.740
We can also take an important opportunity right now to break up the left wing educational
00:21:01.900
This is something that Betsy DeVos, the education secretary, has been working on.
00:21:06.400
You're seeing this go into overdrive right now.
00:21:08.860
Now, when there is chaos about, you need to set up some insurance policies, OK?
00:21:15.040

00:22:41.820
There is no risk taking the initiative to get yourself and your family prepared today.
00:22:54.040
Right now, amid all of the unfair things going on, the lockdown, we're locking down again,
00:23:00.320
And the people who are locking down, these Democratic governors and mayors, aren't abiding
00:23:06.060
Gavin Newsom is having Michelin-rated meals at the French Laundry.
00:23:09.440
You have the LA County Supervisor saying, we need to shut down.
00:23:12.580
And then two hours later, she goes and has dinner in Santa Monica.
00:23:23.780
Betsy DeVos pointed out that higher education, lower education too though right now, amount
00:23:34.000
And that what the government is attempting to do, if there is a Biden administration,
00:23:39.980
is not just, we're not just talking about what is being taught in schools, left-wing
00:23:43.940
ideology, but the actual move by the government to install a socialized takeover of the educational
00:23:53.160
Policy should never entice students into greater debt, nor should they put taxpayer dollars at
00:23:59.520
There are too many politicians today who support policy that does both.
00:24:05.860
Still more advanced the truly insidious notion of government gift-giving.
00:24:11.140
We've heard shrill calls to cancel, to forgive, to make it all free.
00:24:17.100
Any innocuous label out there can't obfuscate what it really is.
00:24:23.020
The campaign for free college is a matter of total government control.
00:24:27.060
Make no mistake, it is a socialist takeover of higher education.
00:24:33.480
Now depending on your personal politics, some of you might not find that notion as scary
00:24:39.740
But mark my words, none of you would like the way it will work.
00:24:45.760
I know that people bandy about the word socialism and sometimes they use it incorrectly.
00:24:54.260
What the government is talking about, the government already has a role in education.
00:24:57.900
There are public schools and obviously public state colleges.
00:25:01.320
What the government is talking about now, what the Biden team is talking about, is giving
00:25:10.460
Free education means that the government will control the entire higher education system.
00:25:17.400
And it might be through a few layers, so it might not seem direct, but he who pays the
00:25:23.260
And if the government does get involved in that, that is a full-on government takeover
00:25:36.320
Hopefully, we prevent the Biden administration.
00:25:38.280
Well, we can keep fighting, hopefully prevent a Democratic Senate so that they don't have the
00:25:43.080
ability to pass this kind of radical legislation.
00:25:45.600
They'll just do it from the bureaucratic level, but they'll be more hampered that way.
00:25:49.600
We can vote with our feet, or I suppose vote with our wallets, and break up this educational
00:25:59.400
I said it was the silver lining of the lockdowns that public school attendance is down.
00:26:06.760
They might not be learning their arithmetic, although if it's common core math, then maybe
00:26:11.100
It also means they're not going to be learning their radical left ideology.
00:26:14.760
It also means they're not going to be learning the 1619 Project that teaches them to hate
00:26:19.340
It also means that you're going to see new educational opportunities, homeschooling, different
00:26:24.380
pod learning communities, parochial schools growing, private schools, charter schools.
00:26:29.960
We need to take that up to the college level as well.
00:26:33.540
I understand that people still feel that going to college is always 100% of the time the way
00:26:39.820
to get a good credential, to get you a better job.
00:26:41.700
I think that is becoming less and less true every day.
00:26:47.680
I know there are a lot of conservatives who say, don't worry about education.
00:26:51.640
You know, if you're going to go to school, major in engineering or something.
00:26:55.780
I think if you go to school, you should very likely major in English or history or philosophy.
00:27:00.720
I am a total defender of liberal education and the liberal arts.
00:27:04.820
But that's not what you're getting at most of these colleges, and the price tag is way
00:27:09.440
I don't think the point of college is to go out and get a job.
00:27:13.000
It's to learn things that are not practically useful at all.
00:27:15.700
They're just useful in helping you make sense of your freedom.
00:27:27.220
More and more employers, I'm seeing, don't care if you have a certain special college
00:27:36.320
Because those college degrees are increasingly not reflecting the skill set that they were
00:27:46.320
You know, it's very difficult to break away from an old system.
00:27:55.560
We need to have perseverance, even if it looks like the empire strikes back.
00:28:00.680
We need new, maybe self-directed educational opportunities, such as the ones with my friends
00:28:07.380
If you watch my book show at PragerU, you've heard of Thinker.
00:28:10.680
Thinker summarizes the key ideas from new and noteworthy nonfiction, giving you access
00:28:14.780
to an entire library of great books in bite-sized form.
00:28:19.420
Think of Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People, Jordan Peterson's best-selling
00:28:28.580
Thinker offers a large variety of titles from many categories, current affairs, politics,
00:28:35.700
You will even find Ben Shapiro's Right Side of History and Matt Walsh's The Unholy Trinity.
00:28:41.980
Hopefully they'll have my book on there too, the one with words when it comes out.
00:28:44.760
If you want to challenge your preconceptions, if you want to expand your horizons, if you
00:28:51.800
want to sound smart at cocktail parties, most important of all, go to Thinker, T-H-I-N-K-R.org,
00:29:01.100
Let them know that you heard about them on The Michael Knowles Show.
00:29:03.760
That is Thinker, T-H-I-N-K-R, no E, no time for that, dot org.
00:29:11.780
There have been fears of a great reset with the lockdowns, with the way that the establishment
00:29:17.060
is trying to build back better and all these kind of creepy slogans.
00:29:20.500
Well, we're starting to see that come to fruition with the notion of vaccine passports.
00:29:29.500
That is no longer the stuff of dystopian science fiction novels.
00:29:33.520
That would appear to be implemented now in parts of the United Kingdom.
00:29:40.440
Right now, if you haven't ordered them yet, you have to go order them.
00:29:46.100
These were made by a long-time viewer of The Daily Wire and All Access member and friend of ours.
00:29:53.420
They are all of The Daily Wire hosts, plus Little Tiny Jasper, as elves.
00:30:06.740
That is at Christmas to 83400 to get your tree decorated.
00:30:30.060
Let's reset and let's get ready for the great reset that our elites are trying to foist upon us.
00:30:36.760
This term, reset, is not just the stuff of fevered conspiracy theories.
00:30:43.180
You have heard leaders around the world use this phrase with regard to the lockdown.
00:30:48.060
It did occur to me early on in the lockdown that as the rules were always changing and the justification was always changing,
00:30:54.660
we needed a lockdown to slow the spread or flatten the curve.
00:31:00.400
Now, we do have a cure, I guess, with these vaccines, 95% effective.
00:31:04.740
It just seemed like the justification was always changing.
00:31:07.240
It occurred to me the coronavirus lockdowns basically gave the left the Green New Deal.
00:31:20.320
Gave the government much more control than it had.
00:31:23.340
Set up massive spending schemes, massive redistribution of wealth, all in the name of this global threat that we're all going to die from,
00:31:32.760
even though it has a very, very, very, very high survival rate.
00:31:36.700
We're all going to die unless you give us a lot of power, unprecedented power from the perspective of the United States and a lot of money.
00:31:46.380
This is the same argument for the Green New Deal.
00:31:48.000
The world is going to end if you don't give us all the power and all the money.
00:31:58.240
I promise you the world is not going to end in 10 years.
00:32:02.580
If it is, I'll owe you each 100 bucks or something.
00:32:05.640
Prince Charles, who's hysteric when it comes to the global warming alarmism,
00:32:12.020
he said a number of years ago that the world was going to end in 18 months and still here as far as we can tell.
00:32:22.360
And now these fears are becoming even more real for this so-called reset.
00:32:27.340
Wales and the United Kingdom is implementing something akin to a vaccine passport.
00:32:32.880
From the Welsh health minister, Von Githing, he says,
00:32:37.680
Those receiving a COVID-19 vaccination will be given a credit card-sized National Health Service Wales immunization card,
00:32:45.460
which will have the vaccine name, date of immunization, and batch number of each of the doses given handwritten on them.
00:32:52.920
Huh? What? Why am I getting an identification card to tell me that I've had this vaccine that has just come out?
00:33:11.240
He says, These cards will act as a reminder for the second dose and for the type of vaccine.
00:33:16.400
It will also give information about how to report side effects.
00:33:19.020
Okay, well, I don't need to carry a card around to have a phone number.
00:33:22.920
This comes amid concerns, though, that British businesses, not even just the government,
00:33:28.380
but businesses, will start to require proof of vaccination as a condition of entering their businesses.
00:33:38.540
Now, you're going to see a lot of arguments crop back here,
00:33:41.480
because notice that it won't be the government leading the mandates for the vaccine passport.
00:33:48.180
It will be businesses, and there will be some maybe more libertarian-minded conservatives
00:33:56.860
As long as it's not the government forcing me to take this vaccine and carry around proof of it all the time.
00:34:01.960
As long as it's not the government, it's totally fine.
00:34:03.640
And you will have conservatives saying, No, I don't think so.
00:34:08.380
I don't care if my life is being upended and my civil rights taken away and my traditions destroyed and my society wrecked and my family broken up.
00:34:19.740
I don't care if it's the government doing that or big business doing that or anyone else doing that.
00:34:28.140
If I am prevented from engaging in our society without this vaccine or a proof of the vaccine by business or the government,
00:34:45.300
I do not deny, I think conservatives actually go a little bit wrong when they deny that the government has the right to make you do extraordinary things in the name of emergencies.
00:34:56.100
That's how we had this whole lockdown foisted on us in the first place because the government does have the legitimate police power.
00:35:01.660
The government has the right to force you to take a vaccine, for goodness sakes.
00:35:04.800
It seems extreme, but there have been court cases to this effect.
00:35:07.680
So I think we need to stop arguing from this abstract perspective and just say it's rights.
00:35:19.080
Whatever this abstraction is and get down into the particulars.
00:35:23.660
I know that that involves more apprehension or involves more uncertainty.
00:35:31.200
The government has the right to certain police powers?
00:35:35.020
Government even has the right to force someone to be vaccinated during an epidemic?
00:35:43.680
I don't want the government to force everybody to take this vaccine.
00:35:47.540
I don't want big business to force everybody to take this vaccine.
00:35:51.100
I don't want to be required to carry a vaccine passport.
00:35:54.480
I'm not making an abstract argument about that.
00:35:59.900
As far as I can tell, we the people still have some voice in our government.
00:36:07.020
John Ossoff, who's running for the Senate in Georgia, espoused the view of the Democrats
00:36:11.180
if they get power, which is we need to take more power away from we the people,
00:36:14.100
need to give it over to experts who know so much better than we know ourselves.
00:36:21.420
We still have a right to express the way that we want to live in our politics, in our society.
00:36:33.100
You're seeing business owners push back against this.
00:36:35.240
You're seeing people go out in the streets and show up to bars and show up to restaurants.
00:36:43.060
They're not going in and, you know, peacefully stealing Gucci handbags and Nike sneakers.
00:36:47.260
They're going and they want to keep their businesses open.
00:36:50.140
And they want to frequent their favorite businesses.
00:36:55.060
The Great Reset, such as it is, will not come out overnight as some total dystopian overturning of society.
00:37:06.660
It will be a gradual process like the frog in the boiling water.
00:37:10.660
The temperature goes up and up and up and you don't realize how much danger you're in until it's boiling.
00:37:14.940
But the Great Reset, whatever that means, is going to be a reframing of the country.
00:37:21.200
The country right now is broadly considered a center-right country and has been for some time.
00:37:26.760
It seems less and less true each day as we radically redefine reality, marriage, sexuality itself,
00:37:36.180
as we redefine the family, as we redefine our relationship to the government.
00:37:39.300
It's seeming less and less that way all the time.
00:37:42.320
But if we were a center-right country, the way that we're going to reframe it is
00:37:46.640
we're going to continue to say we're a center-right country, but the politics is going to move far to the left.
00:37:51.660
Jennifer Rubin, one of the most dishonest columnists in America.
00:37:56.600
Jennifer Rubin at the Washington Post who pretends to be a conservative.
00:37:59.680
She's a far-left radical liberal and she actually calls herself a conservative.
00:38:04.340
Jennifer Rubin says that the country is center-right and the Biden administration,
00:38:11.320
if it ascends to the presidency, will be center-right.
00:38:14.640
Headline of her piece, Joe Biden's personnel picks engender no legitimate GOP gripes.
00:38:22.440
She writes, I kid you not, President-elect Joe Biden has selected a flock of experienced
00:38:27.640
center-right nominees for top positions, progressive enough to reassure most Democrats
00:38:34.200
and reasonable enough to impress conservative policy wonks.
00:38:38.300
When it looks more certain how this presidential race will play out, you know, it is getting more
00:38:49.920
He hasn't named too many yet, I think because he doesn't want to spook people.
00:38:53.540
I think he wants it, he wants to just put out a few picks and then wait and see when it looks
00:38:59.260
like he's going to win the court cases for sure, when it looks like he's going to win
00:39:03.300
the Electoral College for sure, then I think he'll come out and be honest about how radical
00:39:07.940
But already, you see pictures with some of his personnel picks wearing hammer and sickle
00:39:11.760
hats, I kid you not, wearing a hammer and sickle.
00:39:15.020
Or some of his picks now, for instance, his pick for the Office of Management and Budget.
00:39:19.440
But radical left, very, very far left, these are not center right people.
00:39:25.300
But they could be center right if you take the framing from, say, Barack Obama on the
00:39:31.560
left to Donald Trump on the right, then these Joe Biden picks are radical left.
00:39:39.780
But if you take the framing from, let's say, Donald Trump on the right and Karl Marx on the
00:39:45.860
left, or AOC, or Lenin, or I don't know, Che Guevara on the left, then all of a sudden
00:39:52.840
the picks do seem center right because you've moved the extremes.
00:39:56.920
You've moved, excuse me, you've moved the edges so, so far that now the Biden picks seem
00:40:08.640
So there was an article on Wikipedia put up by one of their editors called Rewriting
00:40:12.080
Wikipedia, this went up by one of their pseudonymous editors, News Slinger, talking about how Wikipedia
00:40:20.780
If you ever looked at most conservatives, I would say at this point, who are given a
00:40:24.660
Wikipedia page, they're called conspiracy theorists.
00:40:28.940
They always, they attack my page, they attack Daily Wire's page, they attack every, Charlie
00:40:35.460
And so people have been complaining about this and we've said Wikipedia is a left-wing news
00:40:39.700
And well, Wikipedia comes out and they said, no, actually Wikipedia is center right because
00:40:43.880
of some study from a Harvard center, the Berkman Klein Center report identified Wikipedia as
00:40:48.000
a center right website on the candidate valence scale throughout the 2016 US elections.
00:40:53.420
And I'm sure that there are going to be other arguments that you hear.
00:40:58.300
Oh yes, according to PolitiFact, Wikipedia is center right.
00:41:01.900
Oh yes, according to AOC, Wikipedia is center right.
00:41:07.600
And it doesn't feel quite as satisfying to just gradually try to pull the country back
00:41:23.780
We want gradual change because gradual change will be lasting change.
00:41:32.640
The left did not just win an election and thereby take the culture.
00:41:37.200
The left embarked on a decades-long march through the institutions, took over higher education,
00:41:44.980
took over the media, took over Hollywood, took over technology.
00:41:50.400
The big tech, as we know it today, is really, what, about 30 years old?
00:41:57.240
All of these institutions, they went in, they worked, they did this grunt work.
00:42:03.140
We don't know many of the names of these radicals who took it over because they just were nobody,
00:42:07.900
They were just functionaries of the left-wing cause.
00:42:11.040
And all of a sudden you wake up and the country is much, much further to the left.
00:42:18.180
Occasionally, occasionally, we can push back on these guys.
00:42:26.880
Candace Owens made the perfectly accurate statement the other day on Facebook that Joe
00:42:38.380
It is simply a fact that Joe Biden is not the president-elect.
00:42:47.280
PolitiFact, the objective, neutral, probably center-right fact-checking.
00:42:55.160
Because they said, oh, the media called the race.
00:42:57.520
And, oh, it looks like he's going to get all these votes.
00:43:11.980
We've gone back and looked and said, oh, yes, we've now corrected this.
00:43:15.580
Well, this is important because these fact-checking websites, quote-unquote, left-wing websites like PolitiFact, are involved in determining what gets censored on social media platforms.
00:43:25.960
So social media platforms pretend that they've got these neutral fact-checkers who are, you know, and they throw their hands up in the air.
00:43:33.040
But no, they partner with these left-wing organizations.
00:43:38.280
If you push back against them, you are going to fail not just 9 out of 10 times.
00:43:42.300
You're probably going to fail 99 out of 100 times.
00:43:44.960
But if you just keep it up, eventually, eventually, you might succeed.
00:43:51.940
Right now we've learned that Hewlett-Packard is leaving California.
00:43:59.260
Hewlett-Packard is currently located in San Jose, California.
00:44:04.740
Because Texas imposes a 0.75% franchise tax on business margins.
00:44:13.900
Not to mention that Texas has no individual income tax compared to California's current top rate of 13.3%,
00:44:20.640
which is now expected to rise to 16.3% very soon.
00:44:27.540
Right now I'm in Washington, D.C. because we shot some episodes of Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz.
00:44:31.900
But when I go back to Tennessee, I will not be paying any state income taxes.
00:44:38.280
Very important stuff because there are a lot of people fleeing California now.
00:44:42.540
I mean, these states, Tennessee, Texas, they're filling up because you can vote with your feet.
00:44:46.280
Now, is that going to change the culture overnight?
00:44:47.540
No, but there are these modest gains that you can make.
00:44:51.380
And if you just show that you're not going to back down, that will have a far greater effect maybe than you expect.
00:44:57.900
If you look these crooks in the eye and you say, I think I won this election.
00:45:03.340
I think that the system, for a number of reasons, was made vulnerable to fraud.
00:45:09.640
And in some cases in Pennsylvania, it was unconstitutional the way it was set up.
00:45:13.960
And I think that we need to challenge this election in the courts.
00:45:18.280
And you look and they say, no, we're going to take it from you.
00:45:22.340
And you look and you say, okay, I'm going to keep fighting you.
00:45:25.260
If you beat me on this bet, I'll see you again in four years.
00:45:29.300
Do not give up, no matter how daunting the odds.
00:45:55.260
Also, be sure to check out the other Daily Wire podcasts, including The Ben Shapiro Show, The Andrew Klavan Show, and The Matt Walsh Show.
00:46:02.740
The Michael Knowles Show is produced by Ben Davies.
00:46:10.600
Supervising producers, Mathis Glover and Robert Sterling.
00:46:25.660
The Michael Knowles Show is a Daily Wire production.
00:46:29.100
Hey everyone, it's Andrew Klavan, host of The Andrew Klavan Show.
00:46:32.960
Donald Trump has gone to the people to make his case that the election was rigged.
00:46:36.720
We will take a close look at what he said and what it means.
00:46:39.960
We will know the truth, and the truth will set us free on The Andrew Klavan Show.
