Summary

In this episode, we talk about the situation at the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan, the situation with the remaining Americans stranded at the embassy, and the possibility that the situation could get worse. We also talk about what we should do now that the embassy is in the hands of the Taliban, and why we should be worried about the possibility of more attacks on the embassy. Also, we discuss the lack of media coverage of the situation and what we can do to make things better for the American citizens stuck in Afghanistan. We also discuss what we need to do to prepare for possible future attacks by the Taliban and how we can prevent them from happening in the first place, and what to do when they do happen. 00:00:00.000 Yesterday, I did a little like, you know, sort of like rumble Facebook video on it.
00:00:03.000 They literally put out a press release saying, get to Hamid Karzai airport, though the embassy says we cannot guarantee your safety.
00:00:10.000 Like, so they want you to travel there.
00:00:11.000 Now, the embassy, don't forget, the embassy now is in Taliban control.
00:00:15.000 Joe Biden on July 8th said, under no circumstances will there be photographs, you know, of the Chinooks, I guess, or whatever it was that they were like, you know, of Saigon in 75.
00:00:25.000 Mm-hmm. It's literally the same photo.
00:00:27.000 It almost looks like you can't tell the difference in the photo unless you look at the building.
00:00:31.000 I posted a video on my Twitter and Facebook that shows literally the photographs of them evacuating the embassy.
00:00:38.000 This is Six weeks ago, Joe Biden said under no circumstances was that going to happen.
00:00:42.000 They have the same helicopter evacuating people out of the embassy.
00:00:46.000 The difference between this and Saigon is this is significantly worse because they forgot about the 10 to 40,000 Americans that were still there.
00:00:52.000 And they got some of those embassy personnel out.
00:00:54.000 The embassy fell.
00:00:56.000 It's worse because there's 10 to 40,000 people that are stranded in Afghanistan.
00:01:01.000 And they're saying we can't guarantee your safety.
00:01:03.000 The Afghans have worked with us, and they find out you worked certain areas with the Americans.
00:01:08.000 They're not just going to skin you alive.
00:01:09.000 You get to watch them skin your kids alive.
00:01:12.000 Then they'll get to you. So what we're saying to them, so the Department of State, for people who don't know, they sort of take care of the civilian sector and how to travel, advisors, blah, blah, blah.
00:01:21.000 So they're telling these Afghans, the State Department is saying, just contact the representative of the State Department.
00:01:28.000 They had all evacuated.
00:01:30.000 They got nothing. They got nothing.
00:01:32.000 Contact the embassy. What embassy?
00:01:34.000 The embassy's in Taliban control.
00:01:35.000 So some bureaucrat in D.C.? I mean, I saw the media.
00:01:38.000 Tom Cotton put out this thing on social media, the senator.
00:01:41.000 He goes, listen, contact my office at this number.
00:01:44.000 We will figure out a way to make it happen.
00:01:45.000 The media starts going, oh, what are you going to do, Tom Cotton?
00:01:47.000 It's like, well, the embassy fell.
00:01:49.000 No one else is doing jack shit.
00:01:51.000 Like, he's actually trying to help.
00:01:52.000 He's trying. He's actually trying to proactively be part of a solution.
00:01:56.000 You know, it's not ideal, but he served and he understands how these things work and he sits on the Senate Armed Services Committee or whatever it may be.
00:02:01.000 He may be able to help get something done and effectuate, like, change, but the media jumps on him.
00:02:08.000 Oh, what are you going to do? Like, well, what are you guys doing?
00:02:11.000 You're running cover for Joe Biden while he's on vacation.
00:02:14.000 How many people are over there right now that we want to get out?
00:02:16.000 We sent more people in, didn't we now?
00:02:17.000 They said 6,000. But how many people are in there right now, roughly, that we want to get out?
00:02:21.000 We don't even know. That's the point.
00:02:23.000 They put out a thing. Between 10,000 and 40,000, according to, I guess it was Americans.
00:02:26.000 This is a little latitude.
00:02:28.000 They resumed flights, and in the last 24 hours, they had gotten something like 600 to 700 people out.
00:02:34.000 So play it out. If they're getting 600 to 700 people out in a 24-hour cycle, and there could be up to 40,000 people, You're going to spend two months evacuating Americans?
00:02:43.000 What do you think is going to happen? Like, the Taliban, I understand the press is giving them a lot of attention.
00:02:46.000 They're giving the Taliban a bigger platform than my father, the former president of the United States, who's not allowed to be on social media.
00:02:53.000 What happens when the beheadings start?
00:02:54.000 Because you know they're going to start. Oh, they've already started.
00:02:57.000 What happens when the raping starts?
00:02:58.000 When they do, though, and that's something that we see on our end, and we see those happenings, what's the play?
00:03:03.000 Well, they're going to control their media, and, you know, they will...
00:03:07.000 It'll happen and we won't see it.
00:03:09.000 It's happening. Who do have a verified Twitter account, by the way.
00:03:12.000 They won't put it on their Twitter account.
00:03:13.000 They have a verified Twitter account?
00:03:15.000 Yeah, of course. Why wouldn't they? No, the Taliban spokesman.
00:03:17.000 I mean, it's a designated terrorist organization.
00:03:18.000 And, like, they have it.
00:03:20.000 But Donald Trump's not allowed to be on Twitter because he sent a couple of mean tweets.
