Airliner CEO Ed Bassetan is all over the new voting law in Georgia and wants to make sure that everyone can vote, no matter where they live in the state. Apple CEO Tim Cook has a problem with it, but does nothing to stop it. Delta Airlines is learning the hard way not to bite the hand that feeds, so to speak, so they attack the new law and try to get people to vote the way they should be voted. What's even more ironic is that Delta has actually praised the law in the past, and has been a champion of equal access to voting rights for all Georgians. And yet, they still don't want you to be able to cast an absentee ballot without a reason, and they don't allow you to vote without a written reason. What kind of wake up call is that going "woke" going to make you feel better about voting rights in America? And why does it matter if you don't live in Georgia or not? And what does that have to do with your right to vote in the first place in the country you're in? And who's to say who should be allowed to vote and who should or shouldn't vote in a democracy that's fair and free? And how should you vote in an election that's truly fair and just as democratic as it should be? and free and fair and fair and just like the rest of us in the United States of America? And why is it so hard to vote? and why should you even bother to vote at all? What's the point of view on the matter at all the same time as everyone else does it? Why should you should have a say in the same way we do it, anyway? Is it really so important to us? or not and should we have any say in what happens in our elections? in any given election? Let's not have any checks at all, right or not at all ? Why not just one at all in our own country? We're all in this country, we're not allowed to have a voice at all of our votes, we can vote in any other than our choices? we can choose to vote or can we have a fair and equal say in our country we're all equal access and we can have a choice at least we can be free and fair access to our votes can we all be more woke?
00:00:03.000Delta Airlines is learning the hard way not to bite the hand that feeds, so to speak.
00:00:08.000Delta Airlines came out this week with this sort of vicious statement about the new voting laws in Georgia.
00:00:16.000The CEO started attacking it, you know, being all woke.
00:00:20.000So Georgia Republicans voted to cancel This big tax break plan that they were working on for Delta, because Delta's criticizing their bill.
00:00:31.000But what's even more ironic is that Delta literally praised the bill.
00:00:36.000Tom Cotton points out in a tweet, Delta made a statement saying, Delta believes that full and equal access to voting is fundamental right now.
00:00:46.000Over the past several weeks, Delta engaged extensively with state elected officials in both parties to express our strong view that Georgia must have free and fair and secure election process with broad voter participation and equal access to the polls.
00:01:00.000The legislation signed this week improved considerably during the legislative process and expands weekend voting, codifies Sunday voting, and protects voters' ability to cast an absentee ballot without providing a reason.
00:01:13.000For the first time, drop boxes have also been authorized for all counties statewide and poll workers will be allowed to work across county lines.
00:01:22.000Nonetheless, we understand concerns remain over other provisions in the legislation and there continues to be work ahead in this important effort.
00:01:29.000We are committed to continuing to listen to our people and our communities.
00:01:33.000And engage with leaders from both parties to ensure every eligible employee and Georgia voter can exercise their right to vote.
00:01:41.000So that's from Delta CEO Ed Bassetan on Friday.
00:01:46.000Then they come out today getting really woke, attacking it.
00:01:50.000So Georgia Republicans finally do the right thing and say, enough of this nonsense, right?
00:01:55.000There seems to be a big cottage industry of going really woke, Even though it doesn't benefit.
00:02:01.000Why? Because Georgia wanted to have some stuff as it relates to IDs to make sure we know who's actually voting.
00:02:08.000Another one, Apple's Tim Cook came out strongly blasting the law, blasting this voter.
00:02:17.000Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, yet strangely enough, Apple's CEO has also been eerily silent on The genocide that is being committed in China against the Uyghur population.
00:02:33.000He's been really silent about enduring the Hong Kong uprisings.
00:02:38.000Strangely enough, when China, an actual dictatorial and oppressive regime, does something to suppress the will of the people, Apple's Tim Cook is silent like nothing.
