Summary

Jon Stewart's take on the coronavirus outbreak in China has the entire world laughing, and it's not because he's a leftist. It's because he was right about one thing, and the powers that be would have shut him down if he said it a month ago, or a year ago, and now they're laughing at him for questioning what every independent thinker with a brain has been questioning for the past 18 months. And it's a good thing that he's right about that, because if he wasn't, the rest of us would have been ridiculed, ridiculed, and ridiculed for questioning something that's been a part of our brains for a long time. And now, because of science, we know for sure that it came from a lab in the same town where they study these things on a daily basis, it's time to find out where the virus came from. Is it a bird? A bat? A plane crash? Or something that sneezed into my chili? Or is it something that came from the lab where they're actually studying these things, and just sneezing into my chili? And guess what? It's probably not the first time someone has ever thought that this has happened, but it's probably the most likely to be the most probable outcome. And people are laughing at it, and they're getting it, too. And they're not laughing because they know that it's all a little bit late, because science has finally figured it out, and we're not going to blame the media or the government or the "wet markets or the CIA or the CDC or something else. And that's going to cover it up for us. And we're all the next time it comes up with more facts about it, because it's just too late, right? And they don't get it, right?! Watch and see if you agree with me that science and logic and reason and common sense and reason are all in this together. ...and it's too late too late now, so what's the point? . - Tom? - Tom's new book: is out now, and I'll be back with a new episode of Conspiracy Theories, coming soon! and much, much more. - Timestamps: 1:00 - 2:30 - What's the real cause of this pandemic? 3:10 - What are we waiting for? 4:15 - How do we know it's Chinese? 5:40 - Is this a bird or a bat?

00:00:00.000 Okay guys, you gotta watch this clip.
00:00:02.000 This is Jon Stewart the other night on Stephen Colbert.
00:00:06.000 So, two things. First, you know that Jon Stewart is much funnier than Stephen Colbert, even though they're both leftists.
00:00:11.000 But a month ago, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, the powers that be, would have shut you down for this.
00:00:18.000 Now you have an audience laughing along because he is saying what any independent thinker with a brain has been questioning for 18 months.
00:00:28.000 Watch and see for yourself and I'll be back with some more commentary.
00:00:31.000 Science has in many ways helped ease the suffering of this pandemic, which was more than likely caused by science.
00:00:44.000 There's a chance that this was created in a lab.
00:00:51.000 There's an investigation. A chance?
00:00:53.000 If there's evidence, I'd love to hear it.
00:00:56.000 I just don't know. There's a novel respiratory coronavirus overtaking Wuhan, China.
00:01:02.000 What do we do? Oh, you know who we could ask?
00:01:04.000 The Wuhan novel respiratory coronavirus lab.
00:01:09.000 The disease is the same name as the lab.
00:01:14.000 That's just a little too weird, don't you think?
00:01:16.000 And then they ask those scientists, they're like, how did this...
00:01:19.000 So wait a minute, you work at the Wuhan Respiratory Coronavirus Lab.
00:01:23.000 How did this happen? And they're like, a pangolin kissed a turtle.
00:01:29.000 And you're like, no. The name of your lab, if you look at the name, look at the name.
00:01:36.000 Can I, let me see your business card.
00:01:37.000 Show me your business card.
00:01:39.000 Oh, I work at the coronavirus lab in Wuhan.
00:01:45.000 Oh, because there's a coronavirus loose in Wuhan.
00:01:48.000 How did that happen? Maybe a bat flew into the cloaca of a turkey and...
00:01:57.000 Then it sneezed into my chili, and now we all have coronavirus.
00:02:02.000 Okay, okay!
00:02:03.000 What about this? What about this?
00:02:08.000 Okay, amazing clip because of course people like me have been saying this for 18 months with no inside knowledge, no scientific knowledge.
00:02:17.000 It just makes sense.
00:02:19.000 Of course there's a high probability that this thing came from the lab that studies these viruses about three feet away From the wet markets where they said that it came from.
00:02:34.000 Which was more likely? That this thing came from a bat and it mutated so rapidly and was able to affect people so specifically?
00:02:41.000 Or that it came from the lab where they're actually studying these things on a daily basis?
00:02:47.000 Of course that was the case.
00:02:49.000 Of course that was always the most plausible.
00:02:53.000 I'm not saying it is, because I don't want to get thrown off the platforms, but Over the last year and a half, had you suggested this, left-wingers, their allies in big tech, media, they would have ridiculed you into a corner, they would have silenced you, they would have canceled you for suggesting that COVID came from a Chinese lab in the same town a few feet away from the supposed wet markets where they told you it definitely came from.
00:03:21.000 They would have destroyed you for that.
00:03:24.000 It's mind-boggling.
00:03:26.000 And yet now, that audience is laughing along and it's funny.
00:03:30.000 That same audience, because if they're watching Stephen Colbert, there's a high probability that that same audience would have run you down in the streets for suggesting anything other than the gospel spoon-fed to you by the media.
00:03:44.000 That had nothing to do with science.
00:03:46.000 That didn't have anything to do with common sense.
00:03:48.000 That didn't have...
00:03:50.000 Anything to do with anything other than trying to hurt Donald Trump, in my opinion, okay?
00:03:55.000 If Trump would have retweeted this, they would have thrown him off a platform.
00:03:59.000 And yet now it turns out it seems that he was right for questioning these things.
00:04:02.000 Seems like now, because of science, the most probable outcome, you know, Occam's razor, the most likely outcome probably is, now the most likely one probably is.
00:04:14.000 And people are getting it.
00:04:16.000 And they're laughing at it.
00:04:18.000 Too bad it's a little bit late.
00:04:19.000 China's gonna do whatever they can to cover it up.
00:04:22.000 This audience is no longer gonna try to run you down in the streets for thinking that.
00:04:27.000 They're gonna laugh along and it's all cute.
00:04:29.000 But we all know what their reaction would have been like.
00:04:32.000 We all know what Stephen Colbert would have done had you brought up this as a possibility.
00:04:37.000 A few short weeks ago, okay?
00:04:40.000 Watching him squirm because of the ridiculousness that these morons pushed for so long is a little bit refreshing, but it's too late for so many of those that could have perhaps been helped had we figured this stuff out sooner, had we done something like actually follow science and logic and probability and reason rather than just do whatever we can to try to hurt Trump, okay? Any conservative, any independent thinker, they've been wondering this with almost certainty for 18 months.
00:05:12.000 Now, it's okay.
00:05:13.000 You know, Jon Stewart and Bill Maher are becoming like the voices of reason within the bizarro world of TDS, Trump derangement syndrome affected leftists.
00:05:23.000 They're the ones actually talking about these things.
00:05:26.000 Again, at what other point in time was this not the most likely explanation?
00:05:32.000 And yet, had you brought it up more than two weeks ago, okay, you would have been destroyed and you would have been tarred and feathered by scientists, you know, the Fauci scientists, you know, bureaucrat in a lab coat type scientists, by the media, by the left, by social.
00:05:50.000 You'd be canceled, deplatformed, and otherwise.
00:05:53.000 What's going to happen to those people that were hit?
00:05:55.000 Nothing. There won't be an apology.
00:05:57.000 There won't be anything.
00:05:58.000 They'll just wait till the next leftist hysteria, not backed by anything other than narrative, comes along, and we'll see a repeat of the same thing over and over again, guys.
