Summary

Former New York City Police Commissioner Bill Bratton has been charged with corruption and conspiracy to commit murder in the death of a former mayor, Bill de Blasio. Former NYPD Commissioner Bill Freeman joins me to explain what he thinks is going on and why he thinks this is a political vendetta against a former president. Don t miss it! If you don't like a politician, he leaves office, and then you hamstring him with prison, threaten him with $1 million in legal bills, force him to rack up millions in legal fees, then you're in for a treat. This is not a system based on law. It's a system that's based on political revenge. And that's what we should all be paying attention to, because that's exactly what the NYPD is doing in the case of former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and it's time to wake up to the fact that this is not an accident, it's a political witch hunt, and that it's been going on for years. Don't miss it, folks. You're not going to get much better than this! Enjoy this one! - Don't Tell Mom: e-mail me what you thought of this episode and what you think of it. 00:00:00.000 Don, thanks so much for coming on.
00:00:01.000 What is this investigation about, do you think?
00:00:04.000 I think everyone's been trying to figure that out for five years.
00:00:07.000 I think it's a political persecution.
00:00:09.000 And I know that because she literally campaigned on it.
00:00:12.000 She was going to investigate the crimes.
00:00:14.000 The problem is, it wasn't as though she was a part of this office.
00:00:17.000 She had no idea.
00:00:19.000 But in New York, it's okay to try to persecute your political enemies, to try to target them, to try to hurt them.
00:00:25.000 And they've been doing that for over five years.
00:00:28.000 So five years, no actual crime.
00:00:30.000 They're in search of a crime.
00:00:31.000 They've been trying to investigate to create a crime because that's what you're doing in New York.
00:00:36.000 Again, shouldn't surprise us anymore, but if this was going on in a banana republic, we'd be outraged.
00:00:42.000 When it's going on in one of the largest states in America, everyone seems to be silent on it.
00:00:47.000 There's plenty of video out there for people to see.
00:00:49.000 It was literally a campaign promise based on no information, based on no actual knowledge, just that you can do that in New York because it's a Democrat-controlled state.
00:00:59.000 There's nowhere you can go.
00:01:00.000 There's no one you can appeal to because, what, you end up with another leftist judge making the decision, and they're just fine going after their political enemies as well.
00:01:09.000 So you don't like a politician, he leaves office, and then you hamstring him, threaten him with prison, force him to rack up millions in legal bills.
00:01:20.000 Is there precedent for this?
00:01:22.000 Have we done this to former presidents that you're aware of at any time in American history?
00:01:27.000 You know, I'm not. That doesn't surprise me.
00:01:29.000 I think Donald Trump has sort of, you know, the Trump derangement syndrome has brought out the worst in all of the other side.
00:01:35.000 But it is unprecedented.
00:01:37.000 And again, it's going on in America today.
00:01:39.000 And I think what people have to understand, if you can go after a former president, target them for years.
00:01:44.000 Imagine what they could do to the regular person.
00:01:46.000 We've seen sort of the corruption at the highest levels of the FBI over the last few years.
00:01:51.000 You've seen them target, you know, anyone who was anywhere even remotely near the East Coast on January 6th is being targeted.
00:01:58.000 But people who have burned down buildings, who've taken over buildings, who have looted, committed arson, committed murder for the 12 months prior.
00:02:08.000 Total pass. They're not interested.
00:02:10.000 This is what's going on.
00:02:11.000 The entire system has been corrupted, and what's worse is that there is no way to appeal it.
00:02:17.000 There is no way to stop the nonsense.
00:02:19.000 In New York, crime is going through the roof.
00:02:23.000 Taxes are going to go through the roof.
00:02:25.000 Property values are going down.
00:02:27.000 Murder rates are skyrocketing.
00:02:29.000 And yet, rather than using taxpayer dollars to actually go and solve those issues to prevent the degeneration of New York even further, They're going to continue to spend those taxpayer dollars targeting their enemies.
00:02:42.000 And that's pretty disgusting.
00:02:43.000 And I think the taxpayers should be aware of that.
00:02:45.000 I've seen what's happened in New York City.
00:02:47.000 I left for a reason.
00:02:48.000 It's not a good scenario.
00:02:50.000 And when I know a lot of the guys that are big taxpayers in that city, they're fleeing for places like I did to Florida for money.
00:02:57.000 A much better standard of living, for a lot less taxes, for a lot less nonsense.
00:03:02.000 The New York taxpayer has to be asking the question, why are you wasting my taxpayer dollars on this, rather than, again, solving the uncontrolled homicide that's going on, the devaluation of real estate, etc., etc.
00:03:16.000 People want the rule of law.
00:03:17.000 And when the chief law enforcement officer promises to prosecute a crime she can't describe, then you realize this is not a system based on law.
00:03:26.000 It's a system based on political grudges.
00:03:29.000 100%. And that's part of the problem, Tucker.
00:03:32.000 Even if they don't get anything, they get you to spend millions of dollars.
00:03:35.000 And that's sort of a win in and of itself.
00:03:37.000 And it's tens of millions of dollars.
00:03:39.000 And you've got no choice.
00:03:41.000 I appreciate you coming on and explaining that.
