00:05:30.880 On August 16th, 2021, Action for Canada and the Constitutional Rights Centre
00:05:36.980 formally filed legal action in the B.C. Supreme Court
00:05:40.500 to hold multiple parties accountable for their actions
00:05:43.920 with respect to COVID-19 measures.
00:05:47.040 The defendants include the Government of Canada,
00:05:50.420 the Government of British Columbia,
00:05:52.360 various public health officers,
00:05:54.380 the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and others.
00:05:57.380 The lockdowns and mask mandates have become more and more unpopular
00:06:02.460 with Canadians, even though all levels of government
00:06:05.320 and some businesses continue to push mask use.
