00:00:52.480 the day they can't rest until they cause someone to stumble they eat the food of wickedness and

00:00:58.900 drink the wine of violence the way of righteousness is the first gleam of dawn which shines ever

00:01:05.820 brighter until the full light of way of day rather so we're here today to talk about some of the things

00:01:13.080 that have happened in the world but in the end we know as we read god's word god wins and we are part

00:01:20.220 of god's family and we just want to share with you some wonderful things we have a wonderful guest with

00:01:32.460 think in january and that has got to be the coldest place at the coldest time i have ever been uh one of

00:01:40.220 the dairy capitals of the united states and i tell you it was cold i live on the east coast of canada and

00:01:46.480 i you know gets cold here sometimes but uh our brother is enduring there but he has done some wonderful

00:04:29.100 about what we call the mission to the magistrates and i have a little presentation i'm going to do

00:04:35.320 and i'm going to go into the doctrine of lesser magistrate also and um i won't i'll try to keep it

00:04:42.800 from being lengthy um but we have this problem in western civilization with christianity um including

00:04:51.640 here in north america uh where the churchmen have pillared this form of christianity where they think

00:04:57.720 it's spiritual not to have anything to do with civil government matters and because they've run all the

00:05:04.280 christians for the most part out of being involved in civil government matters wicked men have filled

00:05:10.620 the void and they have made their worldview law policy and court opinion and as you can see it's not

00:05:17.640 going very well um good is now evil evil is now good and you may have noticed we live in an insane

00:05:25.160 asylum at this point this is how important it is to bring god's law and word and christian thought

00:05:32.360 to every area of life including the area of civil government and i want to show you a little bit of

00:05:38.600 history so that you understand the whole history of christianity has involved engagement with the civil

00:05:46.920 magistrates not avoidance of it but actually instructing them in their roles their functions

00:05:54.280 their duties and their limits also encouraging them when they needed it also rebuking them when they need

00:06:02.600 this is the whole history of christianity and yet over the last 150 years now we've pillared this

00:06:08.840 form of christianity that thinks i'm spiritual by not being involved in civil government matters

00:06:14.600 in fact the churchmen have actually created hundreds of little slogans to neutralize any christians who

00:06:25.560 get involved in civil government matters um little slogans like we should just preach the gospel uh we should

00:06:31.880 just pray um i just expect sinners to act like sinners uh there's many of them there's about 200 of them and

00:06:40.920 they're all meant to neutralize christians put a wet blanket over them and um get them uninvolved in civil

00:06:50.120 government matters back on their religious hamster wheel to nowhere and you have to be able to dismantle those

00:06:58.600 little slogans so let me just help you dismantle the one that is first and foremost that i've heard as a churchman from other

00:07:05.880 churchmen for and other christians for over 35 years now and that is we should just preach the gospel

00:07:13.320 okay so to dismantle that you have to say three things number one nobody just preaches the gospel

00:07:22.040 nobody do you ever take your wife for a walk do you ever wrestle with your kids do you ever use the

00:07:28.440 restroom nobody just preaches the gospel that's a fact number two notice when that slogan is thrown

00:07:37.080 up we should just preach the gospel like when the next church potluck is being announced see if anybody

00:07:43.560 jumps up and says oh no we should just preach the gospel or when the church softball team is being

00:07:49.720 organized see if someone says no no we we should just preach the gospel it never happens it only happens

00:07:59.080 when you bring up some civil government matter like helping the pre-born or defending marriage or helping

00:08:04.040 a good person get elected or standing against the whole evil that was done through the pretendemic

00:08:11.480 and once you announce something to engage evil to confront evil within the civil government realm

00:08:21.640 and address it from the word of god that's when that slogan is brought up oh we should just preach

00:08:25.880 the gospel and the reason they bring it up then again it's meant to neutralize you to throw a wet blanket

00:08:32.200 over you to make you feel unspiritual to belittle you for being involved in civil government matters

00:08:39.400 and then the third thing to dismantle that slogan is simply this where are all these people just

00:08:47.000 preaching the gospel i go out in my day every day no one hands me a piece of literature a track

00:08:54.360 no one talks to me about christ where are all these people just preaching the gospel and believe me i

00:09:00.280 believe it's massively important to preach the gospel i carry little cards with me all through my day

00:09:13.160 a gang as a young man um used to burn down buildings steal cars deal dope fight other gangs christ

00:09:23.000 saved me by his grace radically transformed my life so my story of what he did in my life by the power of

00:09:30.280 his holy spirit is there at how jesus changed my life so i give that to people and just hand it to

00:09:36.040 them or leave it in you know credit card slots at the gas pumps and in the restaurants wherever we

00:09:42.920 must preach the gospel but we also as christians must understand that god's word addresses all matters of

00:09:49.880 life including matters of civil government and so we must bring his word to the governments of men

00:09:58.920 so they understand what their role and function is in the sight of christ so they understand those

00:10:05.400 things so let me give you this brief history real quick here if i could i'm going to share my screen

00:10:10.520 and go through this for you hopefully this will work and won't get anything messed up

00:10:18.600 so i'm so let me begin here we have this mission to the magistrates that we do here in cold wisconsin

00:10:26.680 um because all of christianity has abandoned the magistrates and it's like a mission field at this

00:10:36.280 time they are shocked when christian people show up to talk to them they'll tell you that the wicked

00:10:41.640 show up all day long where are the christians so it's extremely important that christians and

00:10:47.960 especially a churchman you know pastors elders that you meet with the magistrates and that you

00:10:55.080 instruct them take them to task when needed encourage them when needed so this whole idea that you know

00:11:03.240 we shouldn't have anything to do with civil government matters is in complete contrast to the history of

00:11:08.440 christianity um if you go back to the apologists of old which the first writing you know by justin marty

00:11:16.920 140 a.d all of the apologists wrote their apologies defending christ and christianity to the magistrates

00:11:27.240 first either the emperor or some roman governor or some roman official and then they would say and the

00:11:34.040 people so understand the early church understood that christ's kingdom his word his law was for all men

00:11:45.240 including including the magistrates themselves and so they would address these apologies

00:11:53.240 to the civil authorities the early churchmen regularly quoted psalm chapter two which is a messianic psalm about

00:12:02.760 christ very important psalm which i encourage everyone to read psalm chapter two regarding the magistrates

00:12:12.280 needing to kiss the sun and tremble before him talking about christ how the father said i will give you the

00:12:18.680 nations christ's kingdom impacts us as individuals but it also impacts us as societies as nations and

00:12:27.240 regarding the governments of men and so from the very beginning we see this look at the book of acts

00:12:34.840 paul spent the last several years of his life around the magistrates constantly even chained to magistrates

00:12:43.640 on his very first missionary journey in the book of acts his very first convert was a magistrate

00:12:52.520 um you look at the old testament prophets you look at christ look at john the baptist they all look at the

00:12:59.880 apostles they all were engaged with magistrates with civil government officials and dealing with civil

00:13:07.480 government matters with these men at an individual and societal level so it's extremely important to

00:13:48.520 that they were to bring the law word and gospel to the magistrates if you look at uh columba who went to

00:13:59.320 the scots and the picks you look at patrick who went to the irish and gaelic you look at boniface who

00:14:04.840 went to the germanic tribes um they all spoke to the magistrates all wonderful powerful stories it wasn't an

00:14:14.040 either or to them they openly preached the word of god presented the gospel of jesus christ but they

00:14:21.160 also met with the magistrates and talked with them regarding their role function duties and limits

00:14:27.800 very important they brought christian thought to the civil realm very important to understand

00:14:35.000 so again the whole history of christianity has been engaging the magistrates not being indifferent

00:14:40.680 towards them like we've pillared in the last 150 years here in western civilization which is an utter

00:14:46.920 disaster we're reaping the consequence of that now in our culture to the point where young people

00:14:52.760 children are having their genitals mutilated think of that the depravity of man knows no bottom

00:15:00.920 it doesn't when you think they've thought of the worst thing they can do their wicked minds can think

00:15:06.040 of something even more depraved this is why it's so important for us to engage i'm actually going to

00:15:14.200 a county meeting tonight where the county board is trying to remove one county member from the board

00:15:20.840 simply because he had the audacity to declare that there's only two genders male and female

00:15:27.160 and all these wicked people have joined in demanding his censorship demanding his removal from office

00:15:34.200 that's where we're at now due to the indifference of the churchmen and the christians in the civil realm

00:15:42.520 okay so let me go on here so you had the early church you had christ you had john the baptist you

00:15:49.240 had the prophets of old you had the apologists you have the missionaries and you also have the churchmen

00:15:54.600 themselves so if you look at gregory in 301 a.d he led king tiradadis to christ and then he instructed

00:16:05.720 him in christian thought regarding civil government matters armenia was the first nation to embrace

00:16:11.960 christ and his gospel his law and word as a nation that was in 301 a.d by a churchman named gregory

00:16:20.520 um if you look at you know years later in the 11th century you have sava who impacted all of serbia

00:16:32.120 and the civil realm there regarding christ and christianity bringing christian thought to the

00:16:37.560 civil realm um when you look at the ninth century you had asher and other churchmen who were always at

00:16:45.000 the hand and beck and call of alfred the great who probably had the most deepest influence on

00:16:52.040 western civilization out of any magistrate that's ever lived his imprint is still seen throughout

00:16:59.080 western civilization to this day even in the midst of how christ hating it's become we still see his

00:17:05.720 imprint he had a churchman named asher who wrote about him and he had numerous churchmen surrounding

00:17:12.920 him he carried the law of god with him everywhere he went he understood the importance of it so again

00:17:22.040 this is the history of christianity um if you look at the 16th century the 1500s the reformers i'm a

00:17:30.200 protestant minister when you look at them they always engage the magistrates they understood the importance

00:17:37.480 of doing that um and one of the things that i'll talk to you about this morning is the doctrine of

00:17:44.120 the lesser magistrate as our brother said and i want you to understand the guy in the picture here

00:17:51.560 is nicholas von armsdorf he's the first signer of what's known as the magdeburg confession

00:17:59.240 the magdeburg confession was penned in 1550 it's the first time the doctrine of the lesser magistrate

00:18:05.480 was formalized in 1546 when luther died charles the holy emperor charles the first decided charles

00:18:15.880 the fifth decided that he wanted to re-romanize all of the protestant lands bring them back under roman

00:18:23.160 catholic belief roman catholic rule roman catholic function only one city defied it was magdeburg

00:18:32.520 they had 30 000 people there the thickest walls of any city in all of germania and they took a stand

00:18:41.720 understand they were also the first city to embrace the reformation as a city in 1524 martin luther

00:18:50.440 put nicholas von armsdorf in the pulpit there in magdeburg germany in 1524 that's how highly he thought of

00:18:57.560 nicholas von armsdorf von armsdorf luther has now died it's 1546 all these magistrates have sat under

00:19:07.320 nicholas von armsdorf's pulpit for all these years by the way when magdeburg embraced the reformation

00:19:17.160 and embraced the gospel luther said we took the city without firing a shot just by being faithful to the

00:19:24.840 the word of god so here it is 1546 luther's dead and charles decides to crush the protestant reformation

00:19:33.960 this lone city makes a stand and the churchmen write what we now know as the magdeburg confession

00:19:39.560 which was published on april 13 1550 in october of that year charles marched on magdeburg there was a

00:19:50.520 13-month siege but in the end the magdeburgers won and charles v capitulated so understand if it had not

00:19:59.800 been for the interposition of these magistrates at magdeburg the protestant reformation would have

00:20:08.680 likely just been a blip on the radar screen of human history that's how important their interposition was

00:20:15.480 that is like a thumbnail sketch of that history which is so massively interesting and awesome but

00:20:21.800 again i bring it up to you to once again understand the churchmen understood that god's word speaks to all

00:20:27.800 matters of life including civil government matters and so we see it also with the reformers in the

00:20:36.040 protestant reformation and as i used as an example just there magdeburg here's the city of magdeburg

00:20:43.560 which sits on the elb we actually translated the magdeburg confession from the latin all important

00:20:49.960 theological works were written in latin back then to the english it is the first english translation

00:20:56.200 of that important work so that if you go to our website defy tyrants.com you can now purchase the

00:21:03.240 magdeburg confession and we put in all kinds of footnotes historical prelude historical postscript

00:21:09.880 so you understand the context of what happened there how incredibly important it was here's what um

00:21:17.960 um steven osmond said see if i can get this out of my way he wrote the book protestants the birth of a revolution

00:21:27.880 he said reform that existed only in pamphlets and sermons and not also in law and institutions would remain a private

00:21:34.840 affair confined to all intents and purposes within the minds of preachers and pamphleteers he talks he's talking about

00:21:43.240 in the context here about how the reformers understood that christ's kingdom invades

00:21:49.160 every area of our life and invades every area of life including the area of civil government matters

00:21:57.480 william durant who's um an excellent um historian

00:22:03.880 he wrote this in his work the reformation he said in protestantism the preachers became journals of news and opinion

00:22:15.400 they told their congregations the events of the week or day and religion was then so interwoven with life

00:22:24.360 that nearly every occurrence touched the faith or its or its members they denounced the vices and errors of the parishioners

00:22:32.840 and instructed the government as to its duties and faults you see how important christianity has been

00:22:41.960 to the magistrates it doesn't mean when christianity was speaking to the magistrates unlike now where

00:22:48.120 they've all abandoned the magistrates that everything was perfect back then anything man's involved in is

00:22:55.560 never perfect but what it did mean was that we had this standard of christian thought of god's law

00:23:04.200 so that when the magistrates did wrong there was this objective standard to which men

00:23:09.960 could call men could call men to repentance to call men to repair and to reform now that christianity

00:23:17.960 has abandoned the realm of civil government the state is just free to make up law out of thin air out of

00:23:24.200 mere whim and as i said earlier you can see the chaos we're now in so it's extremely important to understand

00:23:32.600 that god's word speaks to all matters of life including matters of civil government i wrote this

00:23:39.400 book on the doctrine of the lesser magistrate and it has sold over 120 000 copies now which if you know

00:23:46.680 anything about publishing is huge it's really big and so um in this work i talk about the doctrine of the

00:23:57.000 lesser magistrate which is found in the word of god and also within the history of men and i set it forth

00:24:06.520 so that people can understand it i have a stack of letters from churchmen who have written to me who

00:24:12.600 read this work and i kept it as short as i could because i wanted it to get read painful as it was to do

00:24:18.040 that um but i have this stack of letters of churchmen who essentially said the same thing in their letter

00:24:24.360 and that is your book helped me for the first time to see that my christianity does have something to

00:24:33.400 say about civil government matters so i want to share with you just briefly a little bit about

00:24:38.600 that doctrine and then i'll end and um and then um we can get to the questions so the doctrine itself

00:24:46.600 is that when the higher ranking civil authority makes unjust or immoral law policy or court opinion

00:24:53.480 the lower or lesser ranking civil authority has both the god-given right and duty not to obey

00:25:01.960 their duty rather is to interpose they also have the right and the duty if necessary to actively resist

00:25:11.080 the superior authority now this doctrine is found in the word of god which i'll get to in a moment

00:25:17.480 but it's also found in non-jewish non-christian nation showing that it's natural to man and roman

00:25:25.880 emperor trajan was giving a sword to one of his subordinates and it kind of exemplifies what the

00:25:31.960 doctrine is in a nutshell when he was giving the sword of the subordinate he said use this sword against my

00:25:38.440 enemies if i give righteous commands but if i give unrighteous commands use it against me that's the

00:25:47.000 doctrine in a nutshell when the superior civil authority does wrong the duty of the lesser

00:25:54.040 authorities is not blithe compliance rather their duty is what we call interposition they're to stand

00:26:00.920 between the tyrant superior civil authority and the people within their jurisdiction the people within

00:26:08.520 their realm that's what they're supposed to do not offer blithe compliance understand the interposition

00:26:17.560 of lesser authorities is massively important to stop evil in a nation the tyrant superior civil authority

00:26:25.640 always counts on the blithe compliance of the lesser authorities in order to get their evil down in

00:26:32.040 the fabric of society and it's when they don't have that compliance that they know they have a problem

00:26:37.960 on their hands if good men don't take a stand the tyrant superior authority has the convenience of

00:26:47.240 building the next plank of their tyranny and that's what's been happening in america in my nation

00:26:52.280 been happening in canada in your nation for decades now if good men do take a stand in against evil

00:27:00.120 and interpose as they should it does one of two things it either causes the tyrant superior authority

00:27:08.520 to remove the act of tyranny that's being opposed it reminds him that his authority has limits that he

00:27:18.920 doesn't have limitless authority that all are to give limitless obedience to and it also could do the

00:27:27.000 other thing if he wants to not step back from his acts of tyranny and wants to pursue them it causes him to

00:27:35.720 come out of his lair and show his fangs so that men more readily see him for the tyrant or the tyrants that

00:27:43.880 they are this is part of the process and the thing about christian people is our fealty our love and

00:27:51.960 obedience is to christ first and it's always been the teaching of the church and churchmen that when

00:27:59.080 the state commands that which god forbids or forbids that which god commands we're to obey god rather

00:28:05.400 than man we're to obey god rather than the state that has always been so because we're willing to take

00:28:12.680 on suffering for standing in opposition we're actually benefiting the tyrant authority because

00:28:19.160 we're reminding them their authority has limits we call them to repentance understanding that christ is

00:28:25.960 the ultimate authority god is the ultimate authority there's four governments he's created under his

00:28:32.280 authority self-government family government church government and civil government any position of authority

00:28:40.520 within any of those four governments is delegated authority in other words the authority they possess is

00:28:47.160 given to them of god therefore they have a duty to govern in um to govern whatever government they're in

00:28:57.320 according to his rule so like a father has delegated authority he's to govern his home according to christ's rule the

00:29:05.880 civil authority the authority they possess is delegated to them for god from god they are to govern according

00:29:13.480 to his rule when they make law or policy or court opinion that contradicts contravenes the law and word of god impugns

00:29:23.320 the law and word of god we are to obey god rather than man we are to take a stand and it's a goodness not

00:29:29.400 only for the wicked tyrant but it's also a goodness for all of society because we help preserve freedom

00:29:35.800 and liberty by taking this stand we check the evil of this wickedness that's being done by the civil authorities

00:29:45.960 so i already talked about this the magdeburg confession which goes deeply into the word of god regarding the

00:29:52.360 doctrine of the lesser magistrates because again it was written by christian men and it was the

00:29:59.240 first time the doctrine of lesser magistrates was formalized the doctrine was picked up by other of

00:30:05.480 the reformers and furthered including by this churchman john knox um he wrote the foremost treatise

00:30:13.080 on the doctrine of the lesser magistrate in what is known as the no his appellation to the nobles of

00:30:19.960 scotland the nobles were the lesser magistrates of their day and knox wrote to them to stand in

00:30:28.520 interposition against the evil of the king or of the queen so this is very important to understand

00:30:37.480 in his appellation he cites over 70 passages of scripture to show that this doctrine is sound in

00:30:44.360 the word of god i view his appellation as the foremost treatise on the doctrine of the lesser

00:30:51.000 magistrates ever written other churchmen christopher goodman theodore beza and others all wrote on the

00:30:59.720 doctrine too and contributed to the understanding of the doctrine of the lesser magistrate also but i

00:31:06.040 think knox wrote the foremost treatise on it in his appellation to the nobles of scotland

00:31:11.160 now this doctrine of the lesser magistrate is rooted in the historic christian doctrine of

00:31:17.560 interposition interposition is where you stand in the gap between the oppressor and his intended victor

00:31:25.000 okay you can stand in the gap interpose verbally or physically you can do both together verbally and

00:31:33.960 physically one of the things that i was involved in 30 years ago was interposing at the doors of

00:31:40.520 death camps here in america you know abortion clinics and so we would prayerfully non-violently

00:31:48.120 interpose at the door of the death camp placing our bodies between the killer and the pre-born

00:31:53.960 children that were being brought to be killed and we saw god do a great work in that regard when

00:32:00.600 there's evil in the land christian people have a duty to respond to it this is important for us

00:32:07.080 um to understand amy carmichael you know went to india and she encountered these temple prostitutes

00:32:17.480 and she got involved in helping them escape temple prostitution these young girls and women

00:32:23.640 and a bunch of her supporters wrote to her and said amy we sent you to there to preach the gospel

00:32:29.080 stop being involved in this temple prostitution stuff we sent you there to save souls well amy wrote

00:32:37.960 back a letter which we still have today where she said souls are more or less attached to bodies and she

00:32:45.400 talked about the fact of how can these people here in india take the claims of christ and his gospel

00:32:50.920 seriously if i act indifferent to such a gross evil within their culture and society and she's exactly

00:32:59.000 right it's not an either or when i was young minister i got involved in defending the pre-born

00:33:05.640 i had older churchmen pastors talk to me about it and tell me matt you're either going to preach the

00:33:11.080 gospel or you're going to do your abortion thing and i respected them they're older men and i

00:33:16.200 had you know deafness towards them um you know held them in esteem and but i didn't believe what they

00:33:23.880 said and i went forward and i saw that they were weren't right about that i learned that we can defend

00:33:30.600 our pre-born neighbor and we can preach the gospel it's not an either or in fact i learned that by getting

00:33:36.520 involved in the matter of the pre-born it provided me more opportunities than ever to present the gospel to

00:37:02.920 made contrary to the law of god it was viewed as no law at all was to be resisted

00:37:14.840 or bad whether we were able to tell if it was righteous or evil whether it was just or unjust moral

00:37:29.880 but there was this standard to which you could call men to reform to repair to repentance when they did wrong

00:37:50.200 william blackstone in the 18th century by the way he was the most cited legal scholar by america's

00:37:56.120 founders william blackstone was he was an english jurist who wrote his commentaries on the laws of

00:38:02.440 england and he said this upon these two foundations the law of nature and the law of revelation

00:38:07.240 talking about god's written law depend all human laws that is to say no human laws should be suffered

00:38:13.400 to contradict these and we know he was talking about the law of god is found in scripture because he

00:38:19.960 went on to say it talking about the law of god is binding over all the globe in all countries and at

00:38:36.600 the doctrines thus deliver we call the revealed or divine law and they are found only in the holy

00:38:41.000 scriptures so again this was the thinking of western man will you look at our uh one of our first supreme

00:38:56.120 he said of god's law is promulgated by reason in the moral sense it's been called natural as

00:39:01.400 promulgated by the holy scripture has been called revealed law as addressed to men has been denominated

00:39:06.520 the law of nature as addressed political sites been denominated the law of nations but it should

00:39:11.960 always be remembered that this law whether natural or revealed made for men or for nations flows from the

00:39:17.400 same divine source it is the law of god he went on to say from their human law must rest its authority

00:39:24.440 ultimately upon the authority of that law which is divine this was the thinking of western man

00:39:32.040 john of salisbury who wrote polycraticus in 1159 ad which everyone should read we have 11 children

00:39:38.840 they all had to read polycraticus when they're about 13 14 15 you know some are a little smarter than

00:39:44.840 others they all had to read it and here's what he said of the lesser man and the history is phenomenal

00:39:51.320 and it's still available today he said loyal shoulders should sustain the power of the ruler

00:39:56.440 so long as exercise and subjection to god and follows his ordinances but if he resists and

00:40:21.320 law or word of god or you know up there in canada i believe it's your charter rights here in america it's our

00:40:27.800 u.s constitution that limits the authority of government so if they go against the charter

00:40:35.800 rights or they go against the u.s constitution they are to be opposed also if they make law contrary or

00:40:42.440 policy or court opinion contrary to those important documents they are to be opposed by the lesser

00:40:48.600 authorities um not only are they to oppose anything that they make contrary to the law or word of god

00:40:55.480 or to the charter rights or the u.s constitution but they are also to stand in opposition to them

00:41:02.520 if they exceed the limits if they exceed the limits of their authority god's law and word limits the

00:41:09.320 authority that the civil governments possess we may not believe that in our day and age because we live in

00:41:15.720 status hell where everybody thinks the state can do whatever it wants and should be the great cure and

00:41:46.680 or what you have then the lesser authorities are to stand in opposition to that and say no you've

00:41:52.600 exceeded the limits of your authority that checks the tyrant and reminds them that their authority does

00:42:07.800 whoredom of the churchmen who went along with it all but it also exposed the magistrates it exposed that

00:42:21.640 so let me give you an example here there were um i spoke um a year ago february to five different

00:42:28.760 counties in michigan uh the people got all fired up and three of the counties they actually ran for office

00:42:37.480 which was astounding and three of the counties of the five completely removed um the majority of

00:42:45.160 their tyrants and took over the county boards so this one county ottawa county which is on the west side

00:42:52.920 when they took um office in january of this year they did two things at their very first meeting they

00:43:01.800 removed their health director nazi who was like a psychopath with all the covet stuff

00:43:08.520 and they put a sane individual in place they also will be taking action in the days ahead to limit the

00:43:15.800 authority that the health director has because the authority that's been given to these health officials

00:43:21.560 they abuse it and it shouldn't have been given to them it needs to be um taken back from them at least to

00:43:30.520 some extent the second thing they did is they completely abolished and eliminated the office of dei

00:43:38.120 diversity equity and inclusion which here in america are just massive pipelines for racism and homosex

00:43:48.360 so they completely removed that so there's no longer that influence from county government

00:43:53.000 pushing that on the people you know um and they save the taxpayers over 260 000 a year by removing that

00:44:03.240 office that's the inner position of the lesser authorities massively important very needed here's another

00:44:10.760 story i'll share with you this is the state of missouri that's newton county has only like 8 600

00:44:18.840 people if i remember right in the county well at the beginning of 2021 when joe biden took office he was

00:44:25.880 threatening all of us in america's second amendment rights said he was going to make executive orders

00:44:31.880 other policy devices to infringe on our second amendment rights so this county they decided to bring their

00:44:39.240 board together and they actually wrote an ordinance a law in defiance of biden's in federal tyranny

00:44:46.200 and their law declared three things in number one it declares that any law or policy which infringes

00:44:54.040 upon the second amendment rights of their citizens there in newton county is null void of no authority

00:45:00.840 in newton county number two it states that any county official who aids and abets in the infringement of

00:45:08.280 the second amendment rights of the citizens of newton county shall immediately immediately fired or removed

00:45:14.520 from office and number three it instructs their sheriff to arrest any federal agents or otherwise

00:45:22.440 who come into newton county to infringe upon the second amendment rights of their citizens

00:45:27.880 well the media made this a huge story like nobody would have known what little newton county did if they

00:45:34.600 would have just left it alone but the media can't help themselves they have to always demonize anything

00:45:54.600 that have that same ordinance but they went for evil god used for good so those are a couple of

00:46:01.640 examples i'll give you one other example this is madison county when the pre-tandemic was going on

00:46:09.960 in may of 2020 all the governors here were acting like little emperors coming up with new decrees every

00:46:17.480 72 hours once a week whatever the case may be well governor pritzker governor of illinois who's a tyrant

00:46:26.440 in may of 2020 came out with his latest decree and it was this no businessman can open their business

00:46:34.280 till i say you can open your business and now if you open your business before i say you can open your

00:46:41.080 business you're going to be arrested and charged with a crime so the very next day in a state with a

00:46:48.920 hundred and two counties only one county madison county sits right on the mississippi river there

00:46:55.000 directly across from st louis gathered their county board and they put out their own decree

00:47:00.600 and their decree stated our businessmen are free to reopen now they said and they said we will use

00:47:07.240 all our power and all our authority to protect our businessmen and then they cautioned the governor

00:47:12.680 and the state not to interfere with their businessmen well governor pritzker the next day responded in

00:47:18.360 good tyrant fashion and he threatened all kinds of bad things against madison county if they didn't

00:47:24.760 get the program they're going to move their federal money their state money and a bunch of other

00:47:29.160 things in fact he held this press conference for the next three days attacking madison county

00:47:36.760 this is a big news story the men in madison county didn't flinch they didn't waver they stood resolute

00:47:44.440 and then seven days after governor pritzker had made that decree the illinois state police put out a press

00:47:50.840 release stating we will not arrest any businessman anywhere in the state who opens their business

00:47:59.720 before governor pritzker says he can they had decided to stand with the men in madison county

00:48:06.840 and then the very next day after that governor pritzker rescinded his order he decided to step back

00:48:13.560 rather than come out further with his fangs going from his lair

00:48:17.320 understand if it hadn't been for the interposition of that one county in illinois the entire state would

00:48:24.680 have remained under that draconian decree that's how important interposition is also understand that

00:48:30.680 the man who heads up that county is a christian brother and he had read my book on the doctrine of

00:48:36.840 lesser magistrates two years before that had taught it to the county board and they knew exactly what

00:48:43.320 their duty was in the face of tyranny and they have acted in interposition numerous times

00:48:49.400 against the evil edicts of governor pritzker so there's other things i could say too um but again

00:48:56.680 i don't know um there's governor pritzker the tyrant uh another thing that's interesting that's going on

00:49:02.200 there right now in illinois they um legislature uh passed a law and the governor signed it um it's called

00:49:10.840 the assault weapons ban and our thinking this thought this christian thought we brought regarding

00:49:17.320 the lesser magistrate just keeps growing in illinois so that over 90 county sheriffs in illinois over 90

00:49:27.000 have made it clear that they're not going to follow that and right now it's in the courts so we'll see

00:49:34.200 how many stand true if the courts rule against the counties but right now 90 plus

00:49:42.360 sheriffs are standing in defiance of the governor and the state on the grounds that this is an

00:49:50.120 infringement of the second amendment rights of the citizens of illinois um and there's many other

00:50:04.040 and the government they bought off the pre-tandemic with two mountains a mountain of lies and a mountain

00:50:09.000 of money all the magistrates at all levels here which i have relationship with magistrates from the

00:50:14.040 federal government down to local government they are all like you know like um thorin at the mountain of

00:50:21.720 arabor and lord of the rings when he sees the gold they all were drunk on the money and so were all the

00:50:28.680 americans it was disgusting to see and um i don't know why that isn't showing up here but let me see if

00:50:36.920 i can get it to work we use four resolutions at the county level one of them is the second amendment

00:50:43.560 ordinance or resolution like i shared with you about newton county another is what we call constitutional

00:50:49.880 county resolution anything done contrary to the constitution is null void no authority in that

00:50:56.840 county whether by a by a um lawful body or by a mad individual magistrate itself no void no authority

00:51:06.200 another one is sanctuary counties for the pre-born no pre-born are being murdered here another is medical

00:51:12.440 freedom uh resolution or ordinances which make it clear that both government and business

00:51:20.200 neither can um do masking testing shot getting no mandates on those things um so once you present any

00:51:38.360 board stand and now you know who you need to unseat and then you have to do the yeoman's work the trench

00:52:08.040 and when they meet with them they're easily hoodwinked by their magistrates they get overcome by the

00:52:13.720 um power or authority or affluence or prestige of the magistrates and they totally forget what they're

00:52:23.080 there for and so the scripture says put a knife to your throat why because we need to put a knife to our

00:52:29.800 throat to remember why we're there number one is we represent christ and his thought his word his law

00:52:39.800 to men and so we have to bring it to the magistrates and be faithful and true in that regard and not

00:52:47.320 let them say oh i have such a hard time here that's what the christian ones will do just pray for me

01:05:53.640 homophobe or whatever it was and and so through standing the line what we have found is that this shift is

01:06:00.360 is taking place where the average person can no longer just kind of set aside how they have been

01:06:10.200 brainwashed and indoctrinated into supporting the government and the globalist rhetoric and it's

01:06:18.120 finding a point to uh depart from that and the only way when you depart from that in my mind is this

01:14:09.880 caesar and even most of how they sell it to churchmen here and as a whole bunch of lawyers

01:14:24.520 charitable donation um refund or however it works in your taxes to the people who give to your church well

01:14:32.280 i don't know what it's like up there but i do know how it is here and that is the fact that churches

01:14:46.120 we've had three congregants over the 35 years that i've been pastoring who were actually audited by the

01:14:52.600 irs and um i told each of them when they were audited to look up how much money they gave because we

01:15:01.320 don't keep track of that look at your checkbook you know or whatever let us know how much it was we

01:15:08.040 will write a letter thanking you for what you gave these various years and just present it to the irs

01:16:33.480 hide behind that and say we can't talk about civil governments matters which isn't even true in itself

01:16:45.960 um but no we don't believe you should place the church of jesus christ underneath the jurisdiction
