00:00:00.000 In Joshua 6, verse 16, the Lord said to Joshua as he was conquering that great city of Jericho,
00:00:13.020 Shout, for the Lord has given you the city.
00:00:16.100 Action for Canada would like to invite you to its annual Walk for Revival, or prayer walk,
00:00:21.280 lasting seven weeks from Passover to Pentecost, this year from April 23rd to June 12th.
00:00:26.720 Our motto at Action for Canada is protecting faith, family, and freedom.
00:00:30.940 And certainly there are many issues across Canada that we need to pray for into this theme.
00:00:36.400 We read in 2 Chronicles 7, verse 14,
00:00:39.900 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face,
00:00:45.600 and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
00:00:52.360 We have three themes that we're going to pray for this year in Canada.
00:00:55.300 Three very timely themes.
00:00:57.560 And the first one is church.
00:00:59.660 The church in Canada needs prayer.
00:01:02.940 We read in the book of Revelations,
00:01:05.080 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot.
00:01:09.280 I wish that you were one or the other.
00:01:12.140 Because you are lukewarm, I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
00:01:16.880 This, of course, was spoken to the church in Laodicea.
00:01:19.500 In Canada, unfortunately, many mainline denominations have completely given themselves over to sinful behavior
00:01:28.340 and even allowed all kinds of lascivious type behaviors into their church.
00:01:33.540 God's word tells us in Matthew 3 to repent, for the kingdom of God is near.
00:01:39.860 We're also reminded in James 5, 16, that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
00:01:47.780 The Lord told his disciples and his followers,
00:01:50.860 My house will be called a house of prayer.
00:01:53.720 When God's people turn back to the Lord in prayer, in rightful worship, disseminating the word of God,
00:02:00.400 then Canada will certainly begin to be changed.
00:02:03.900 It's time to see our church parking lots filled once again with people returning to God
00:02:09.660 and choosing to make Him the number one priority.
00:02:14.840 Our families have been under attack in Canada in the last number of years.
00:02:19.220 The traditional family has been diminished.
00:02:22.060 And it's time that we really begin to uphold our families in prayer.
00:02:26.600 Our children, particularly children going to public school, have been targets of the enemy.
00:02:32.440 You know, when they say, we're here, we're queer, we're coming for your children in the public streets,
00:02:39.480 in our large cities, we've got to pay attention to what's going on.
00:02:43.680 Even the heads of states and our leaders are not good examples, so we can't really look to them for that.
00:02:49.800 But we are saying no.
00:02:51.860 No to these sexualized type curriculums in our schools for our children.
00:02:56.520 And even though some of these people have a month to celebrate their lascivious type behaviors,
00:03:02.620 now they're wanting a season, we are saying no.
00:03:06.320 Leave our kids alone.
00:03:08.760 And the pressure may be on, but you know what?
00:03:11.800 Across the country, whatever title some of these curriculums may have,
00:03:16.400 be it WinSexEd, Beyond the Basics, or SOGI123,
00:03:19.520 No matter how they try to normalize this lifestyle, we are saying no.
00:03:26.560 We are going to protect our children.
00:03:29.060 And these children of ours are a gift from God.
00:03:32.020 So we need to pray for strong, traditional families across our land.
00:03:36.860 We are reminded in Proverbs 23, verse 24,
00:03:40.380 A man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.
00:03:44.580 The third area that we really need to pray for this year is our government.
00:03:51.500 Certainly, there's been a lot of corruption and tyranny in government.
00:03:55.520 We realize that we have such a broken justice system,
00:03:58.840 and the rule of law has not been obeyed at all.
00:04:02.360 Do you realize that etched in stone and stained glass in our parliament are a number of scripture?
00:04:07.980 Here's just a few.
00:04:09.000 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea.
00:04:12.400 He shall execute judgment and justice from the earth.
00:04:17.660 Quit you like men, or act like men, and be strong.
00:04:21.440 And here's a quote from Pericles.
00:04:23.400 Freedom is the sure possession of these alone who have the courage to defend it.
00:04:28.360 We realize that our world is at war,
00:04:31.180 and though some of these wars are fought a world away,
00:04:34.280 Canada is also in a very sad state right now.
00:04:37.800 We've got a problem with mass immigration that's causing all kinds of issues here.
00:04:42.400 We need to protect our borders.
00:04:44.880 We need to protect our sovereignty at home.
00:04:47.680 And although we realize that some parts of the world are at war,
00:04:51.860 Canada is also under attack.
00:04:54.460 We have allowed false gods to come into our land through false religions.
00:04:58.280 And for this reason, we are inviting you as a church, as an individual, as a chapter with Action for Canada,
00:05:06.660 or whoever you may be, a person of faith, to participate with us for seven weeks,
00:05:11.500 from April 23rd to June 12th, to a prayer walk for revival.
00:05:16.360 We want to pray that God will have dominion from sea to sea,
00:05:20.280 that we will see a divine move of God from the Rockies, through the prairies,
00:05:26.040 through central Canada, and into the Maritimes.
