00:00:00.000 And this is what David Eby is turning around and saying.
00:00:04.560 He's now trying to blame OpenAI for the shooting he feels that was preventable.
00:00:11.140 If only OpenAI had communicated with us about what this young person was posting, then all of this wouldn't have happened.
00:00:20.640 And I'm just going to skip to this article for a moment, because this article, I think, was from, was it February 12th?
00:00:30.140 Yeah, February 12th, with this 12-year-old girl fighting for her life.
00:00:34.560 And his comments were,
00:00:36.680 Maya's plight moved B.C. Premier David Eby to tears during remarks after attending a community vigil in Tumblr Ridge.
00:00:43.760 He said the vigil participants were asked to pray for Maya and her family.
00:00:47.780 His quote was,
00:00:49.400 He told reporters as he fought to hold back tears during an evening press conference,
00:00:58.760 a beautiful child who went to school was full of joy and love, who's clinging to life in a hospital right now.
00:01:04.500 Eby said that three levels of government, municipal, provincial, and federal,
00:01:08.140 who were present at the Tumblr Ridge vigil and news conference were assured,
00:01:12.960 supports are here.
00:01:13.940 I'm outraged by hearing this.
00:01:18.980 Outraged.
00:01:20.120 Because the public, especially in B.C. en masse, different groups, Pierre Barnes, others,
00:01:25.660 have all been writing to the premier, have been writing to the education ministers,
00:01:30.680 have been outside her office,
00:01:33.460 rallying against all of this, saying you're harming our children.
00:01:37.400 Our notices of liability have been sent to every school district,
00:01:40.760 to elected officials.
00:01:42.540 We've updated it and we're going to be serving them again.
00:01:45.560 So now listen to what David Eby has the gall to say and to blame in this matter.
00:01:51.980 I'm actually quite angry about what happened here.
00:01:55.420 I sat at a table with a dad who lost a kid who walked me through an excruciating detail,
00:02:02.700 the last moments of his child's life.
00:02:04.480 He's changed me forever and, you know, I was just proximate to the tragedy that his family
00:02:11.980 has experienced.
00:02:12.780 They'll never be the same.
00:02:14.120 And I want to share that with the OpenAI people.
00:02:17.140 From the outside, it looks like they had a chance to prevent this.
00:02:20.040 I don't know that for sure, but it sure looks like it.
00:02:22.720 And I want to share with them the devastation that they caused on behalf of the families.
00:02:26.660 And I want to have a commitment from them to support a consistent threshold across Canada
00:02:31.220 for reporting so that this never happens again, and that it's a good standard that Canadians
00:02:36.260 can support.
00:02:37.560 And I want to share with them that the information that the RCMP has, as well as the information
00:02:42.760 from other, from social media providers, for example, will be ultimately public with British
00:02:49.240 Columbians.
00:02:49.860 They have questions.
00:02:50.600 They want to know what happened.
00:02:52.900 There will be a coroner's inquest or a public inquiry, or the police will share that information
00:02:57.180 as part of their investigation.
00:02:58.300 But now is the time to really be blunt and frank with British Columbians and Canadians 0.96
00:03:03.740 about their involvement in this tragedy.
00:03:07.020 Really?
00:03:07.560 I'm actually quite angry.
00:03:08.600 Really?
00:03:08.980 Does he mean that?
00:03:10.860 If he does, he's going to take personal responsibility for this.
00:03:14.280 And I tell you, the action that's coming out this week is going to demand that he does.
00:03:18.080 And it's going to demand that SOGI-123, once and for all, be completely eradicated from 1.00
00:03:23.700 the BC education system.
00:03:25.140 He is responsible.
00:03:28.800 The education minister is responsible.
00:03:30.920 This young man was deemed to have mental health issues where the RCMP had been showing
00:03:36.840 up there.
00:03:37.900 They knew this home.
00:03:40.400 They knew that he was on these drugs and that there was psychedelic drugs being used as well.
00:03:45.840 I cannot imagine a doctor or pharmacist saying, yeah, go ahead and take those drugs with antidepressants.
00:03:52.260 They broke this young man's mind by indoctrinating him first. 0.69
00:03:56.380 And this is not the only child.
00:03:57.840 You got to think, yeah.
00:03:59.300 You got to say, yeah, i remember it all.
00:04:08.520 You're not the only child.
