00:00:02.340 consent here in British Columbia and that's
00:00:05.040 part of the Infants Act and there's no limit
00:00:08.380 to the age that somebody can consent
00:00:11.280 for medical treatment, including immunization.
00:00:14.120 And that's something that we've worked a lot
00:00:16.620 with youth on across the province over the years
00:00:19.320 and we and public health nurses in particular
00:00:22.760 and public health physicians are very good
00:00:25.520 at assessing and talking to youth.
00:00:28.060 So we'll make sure that resources are available
00:00:30.800 in all of the clinics to assess if a young person
00:00:34.460 comes in by themselves to make sure that they
00:00:37.240 understand the implications and can consent
00:00:40.140 for receiving vaccination.
