In this episode, I talk about the fact that the Freedom Convoy has been accused of being taken over by "dark forces" and why this is a complete load of nonsense. I also talk about how a former RCMP Commissioner lied to the Senate to support Justin Trudeau's emergency extension of the Emergency Management Act.

00:00:00.000 We also have the situation where former RCMP Commissioner Bev Bussin was lying to the Senate
00:00:15.040 when she was advocating that the Emergencies Act be extended past its initial seven-day limit to
00:00:23.220 take it to its full 31-day limit. She actually literally lied to the Senate to support the 1.00
00:00:30.580 position of Justin Trudeau. Now, when I say she's lying to the Senate, what was she lying about? Well,
00:00:35.360 she got up and gave this highly emotional, very powerful speech about how Freedom Convoy 2022 had
00:00:42.700 arrived in Ottawa. And then she said, quite literally, it had been taken over by dark forces.
00:00:48.900 And she actually used that term. It had been taken over by dark forces. And then she goes on to
00:00:54.120 explain that the dark forces were highly trained, highly funded, highly skilled anarchists who'd
00:01:00.580 taken over the convoy. And I remember I looked at that and I thought, oh my God, what is happening
00:01:05.700 here? She's a former commissioner of the RCMP. She should understand national security. She should
00:01:11.840 understand criminality. We do have an anarchist, you know, a series of anarchist groups here in Canada.
00:01:17.260 They're not a systemic threat to the state, but they do tend to be violent on occasion. But there
00:01:22.940 is no way, shape, or form that anyone can argue that anarchists somehow got into the convoy, took it
00:01:29.960 over, and then were trying to use it to overthrow the state. Now, just for fun, it's also worth noting
00:01:35.200 that the anarchists themselves, and this is a bit of a shout out to the anarchists who I don't actually
00:01:39.240 support, but in fairness to the anarchists, it should be known that they hated the convoy. They wanted
00:01:45.120 nothing to do with it. It represented everything they're against, which is like small business
00:01:48.880 ownership, that sort of stuff. So I think even the anarchists must have been shocked to find out that
00:01:55.100 they were being accused of having taken over a force, which they actually pathologically loathed. So here we
00:02:01.060 have an RCMP commissioner who is now a senator who was appointed by, guess who, Justin Trudeau, lying to the
00:02:07.800 public, lying to the Senate about somehow this mysterious force of anarchists had taken over
00:02:12.740 the convoy, and that's why they're a threat. Absolute bunk. It's just, it's silly. It's that bad.
