00:01:12.620 You have done so much work for Action for Canada.

00:01:15.620 And just to go back a little bit in history, you and I met in December of 2020.

00:01:21.380 I believe that's when we first, around that time, November of 2020, had our first contact.

00:01:26.860 And you decided to join us on the pastoral team and eventually quickly became the pastoral lead.

00:01:34.320 In August of 2021, we were realizing that the pastors in the nation weren't stepping up.

00:01:41.380 And so we said, you know what, we need to turn our direction to vetting for chapters across Canada

00:01:48.180 because we said this is going to be a church without walls.

00:01:51.180 This is a mission field that we're in, in building communities, people within communities, like-minded people within communities.

00:01:59.780 And since then, that section of Action for Canada has grown so much.

00:02:04.960 And you and I, probably about five months ago, looked at each other and I said,

00:02:08.760 you got to go back to leading the pastors.

00:02:11.520 And here you are, and you have been reaching out to pastors and, you know,

00:02:16.500 strategically appealing them to open their churches, make room for homeschooling, and so many other good things.

00:02:24.040 And, Ron, so I'm excited to have you on tonight.

00:02:26.140 I just want to give you the floor.

00:02:27.460 Take it away, start introducing these pastors, and let's hear their testimonies.

00:02:37.980 And I just want to read that scripture again that we posted earlier.

00:02:42.220 Hebrews chapter 10, verse 25,

00:02:44.740 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as in the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much more as you see the day approaching.

00:02:57.080 And when this whole thing started with COVID, my wife got me engaged in going to rallies downtown.

00:03:05.760 I said, it's Saturday, it's my day off.

00:03:08.080 And so I went to the rallies, and I just saw what was going on, and I had a chance to hear Tanya speak.

00:03:13.880 And I decided to make these large signage, and some of the wording on that signage was in the context of we were created to worship our God together, open our churches.

00:03:31.060 We were created to give God glory together, open our churches.

00:03:37.440 And I had a whole bunch of these signs made, and we went to these rallies, and I was up in the front of the line.

00:03:43.720 I had a whole bunch of people holding up the signs.

00:03:46.660 God has purposed for the house of the Lord to be open, no matter what.

00:03:51.040 And so I was inspired, and I joined Action for Canada, as Tanya Goss said.

00:03:56.340 And so I'm fortunate to lead a pastoral support team whose focus and purpose is to create awareness, to educate pastors.

00:04:04.800 We're going to have some seminars again where we can teach them and share with them and help them understand what their position is under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, clergymen.

00:04:14.960 And there's a lack of not being educated, but also we want to share with them, there's nothing to fear.

00:04:22.740 You may get some fines or some tickets.

00:04:24.720 And so many of these are being dismissed in the court of law and, you know, live in the obedient, reverent fear of the Lord, not in the fear of our government, not in the fear of man.

00:04:35.880 And so I'm so excited because God has chosen to bless and honor those who have chosen him over our government and been obedient to him.

00:04:47.020 And no matter what, they counted the cost.

00:04:49.240 And where my great-grandfather was in prison for eight years and my grandfather went to a Siberian work camp for six and a half years before he passed away, we're given the opportunity to do the right thing.

00:05:02.000 And when you do the right thing and you choose God, God will bless and honor your commitment to him first.

00:05:08.640 So I want to introduce our first pastor.

00:05:11.980 I'm so excited to have him on board.

00:05:14.080 His wife is actually one of our chapter leaders in Campbell River.

00:05:18.680 So Pastor Randy Beattie, he is a senior pastor of Living Waters Fellowship in Black Creek, B.C.

00:05:25.900 And he's going to let us know where Black Creek was because I had to look it up on the map.

00:05:29.440 Now, Pastor Randy was born into a pastor's home, so was I, and was saved in 1965 at the age of 10, at which time he already felt the call into the ministry.

00:05:42.500 Pastor Randy has been pastoring for 40 years, and the past 30 years has been senior pastor at Living Waters Fellowship.

00:05:51.480 And so I just want to bring him on board.

00:05:53.200 There's other things I could say about it, but I want you, Pastor, just to share.

00:05:57.120 You actually were one of the first pastors that I interviewed for a statement of testimony in God's faithfulness and goodness.

00:06:05.460 We had a whole number of those statements that were featured on our church resource page.

00:06:10.260 And I'm working on getting a lot more because God's blessing and provision and guidance and just to reward the faithfulness of our pastors.

00:06:22.020 Those, you know, it's a small number, but it's a growing contingent.

00:06:25.120 I'll share that a little bit more about what I'm talking about later on.

00:06:29.120 But in any case, Pastor Randy, one thing I want to share as well, too.

00:06:33.080 So Pastor Randy relates to Paul, the apostle, in Acts chapter 20 and verse 24, where he says,

00:06:40.540 I consider my life worth nothing.

00:06:43.120 If only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me,

00:06:48.860 the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.

00:07:15.260 And I agree very much with what Tanya Goss said earlier.

00:07:21.760 We are in a spiritual warfare.

00:07:25.720 As far as I remember, Jesus is the head of the church, not the government, not a prime minister

00:07:32.260 or a president, not even a king, except for the king of kings.

00:07:36.100 And before I get too far in this, I just want to mention Black Creek is on Vancouver Island.

00:07:43.220 It's a little farming community in between Campbell River, the salmon capital of the world,

00:07:49.600 and Courtney or Comox Valley.

00:07:52.860 And we have a church there, Living Waters Fellowship.

00:07:56.860 And as you said earlier, we have remained open.

00:07:59.900 Of course, we did shut down initially because they said it was going to be two weeks to flatten

00:08:07.680 the curve.

00:08:09.000 And of course, two weeks became two months and four months and so on.

00:08:13.620 But it didn't take me very long to realize that I had marching orders from God.

00:08:19.920 And as you quoted the verse in Hebrews, we are not to forsake gathering together of the saints.

00:08:26.560 It's very important and very essential that we as a church continue to meet and gather together.

00:08:35.020 I saw the big box stores were open, liquor stores were open, different businesses that

00:08:42.300 were mom and pop businesses were shut down.

00:08:45.080 But many of these bigger places were open and they were filling up many people.

00:08:48.480 So I realized that although this was people getting sick, it wasn't exactly what they were

00:08:56.580 saying.

00:08:57.260 I think it was a lot of exaggeration and it was based on fear.

00:09:02.020 And I don't believe we're to come under fear.

00:09:04.680 The Bible says the fear of man is a snare.

00:09:08.140 And the reason that I stayed open...

00:09:09.940 And by the way, I want to put a shout out to my church board because it wasn't just my

00:09:14.520 decision.

00:09:14.960 I'm very happy to say that my church board 100% stood with me and we said it's time to

00:09:21.820 open.

00:09:22.640 And we remained open.

00:09:24.600 And we did get a few threats.

00:09:26.820 I kind of feel a little bit silly here with Pastor Arthur.

00:09:29.940 I didn't go to jail.

00:09:31.740 I didn't get that kind of extreme attack or punishment.

00:09:36.140 But the police did show up at our church.

00:09:38.380 They came into the church.

00:09:40.440 They stood across the street from the church spying on us.

00:09:43.180 I got threatened phone calls that we're going to get fined.

00:09:47.500 The church is going to get fined.

00:09:49.000 Every individual, if we were to open the next Sunday, would be fine.

00:09:52.960 But we opened the next Sunday and we got no fines.

00:09:57.200 And eventually they just left us alone.

00:09:59.960 Finally, we had an outdoor meeting.

00:10:02.280 It was a summer day.

00:10:03.520 And again, the police officer showed up and he stood on the outskirts.

00:10:07.960 He listened for a while.

00:10:09.340 One of our little girls in the church carried a little flower to him.

00:10:12.100 It's actually just a dandelion.

00:10:13.380 But I think it softened his heart.

00:10:15.320 And he said, I don't see anything wrong with this.

00:10:17.140 He left.

00:10:18.240 So I think if we stand our ground and stay true to the word of God and faithful to God's

00:10:25.100 word, as shepherds of the flock, the shepherd cannot abandon the sheep.

00:10:30.320 And I felt it was very important and very essential to remain open.

00:10:34.900 I thought, well, if hospitals could be open to help the physically sick, how much more

00:10:38.640 important should it be that we remain open to help those that are in spiritual need, mental

00:10:44.240 need, emotional need?

00:10:45.880 And fellowship is very important.

00:10:48.200 So the Bible tells us that we're together to pray for one another, to encourage one

00:10:54.720 another, spur one another onto good deeds.

00:10:58.580 And it also says in James, if you're sick, hope for the elders, pray for you, to lay hands

00:11:05.160 on you, to annoy with oil.

00:11:06.720 I don't know how you can do that on Zoom.

00:11:09.380 Lay hands on the sick.

00:11:10.840 I don't know how you can do that on Zoom.

00:11:13.000 So I felt it was very important that we remain open and people came.

00:11:17.180 And God honoured us amazingly.

00:11:21.320 We are a small church, but we more than doubled in attendance.

00:11:25.820 Our finances went up.

00:11:27.140 Our influence went up.

00:11:29.100 My wife, as you mentioned, is a chapter leader in Campbell River.

00:11:34.900 One of our members, Jerry Murray, was on just a couple of weeks ago.

00:11:38.960 She was a chapter leader in Comox.

00:11:41.080 Now she's a regional director, I believe.

00:11:43.180 And we've had many opportunities and open doors into our community.

00:11:49.260 I had a lot of negative comments on social media.

00:11:53.560 They were attacking our church.

00:11:55.860 Voice messages on my answering machine coming against us, thinking we were bad testimony.

00:12:01.180 But the exact opposite has happened.

00:12:05.080 We've had many, many opportunities.

00:12:07.780 My wife, especially, to talk to people when she's out on the street, when she's at rallies,

00:12:13.100 talking to people about Jesus.

00:12:16.460 And that's what it's all about to me.

00:12:19.520 As you read that verse, I want to be faithful to testify to the gospel of God's grace.

00:12:25.920 And I believe the grace of God is with his people.

00:12:30.220 His grace will be with every pastor that will be courageous enough to stay open and to be faithful to the word of God.

00:12:38.880 As we heard earlier, these mandates, we weren't breaking the law.

00:12:44.160 The government was breaking the law by coming to the church and intimidating us,

00:12:48.540 the police showing up with their tasers and their guns to look intimidating.

00:12:53.080 But I feel that we need to fear God than we do need to fear man.

00:12:59.540 And the author of Hebrews, I wrote a couple of things down.

00:13:03.020 As you can tell, I can ramble.

00:13:05.200 The author of Hebrews, in other words, the Holy Spirit, reminded the believers that although they had suffered reproach and affliction,

00:13:15.080 even had their property taken away, they must not isolate themselves to avoid arrest, criticism, and suffering.

00:13:24.600 Collective and corporate worship is an essential part of our spiritual life.

00:13:29.680 And the risk of being arrested, fined, or possibly catching a cold or the flu does not outweigh the cost of not meeting together.

00:13:40.140 And I don't know where this comes from, but it must have been a pastor in the UK, or maybe it was a group of pastors.

00:13:47.440 They wrote this to the government.

00:13:49.580 It is essential for the mental and spiritual health of millions of Christians for the church to remain open.

00:13:57.060 It is essential for providing the nation with the hope that Jesus Christ offers.

00:14:02.260 And it is essential for the glory of God.

00:14:05.820 And as Paul wrote in 1 Timothy, the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of truth.

00:14:15.660 And as a result of our stand for truth in a world full of lies, the last two years we have seen our attendance more than double.

00:14:25.320 Many have come because of our stand for the truth, and we have seen many more salvation and people being baptized in these last two years than we've seen in the last 10 years.

00:14:37.500 And although we had the RCMP show up, it did not hinder people from coming out.

00:14:43.820 In fact, we saw tremendous growth.

00:14:45.980 And it's been a real privilege to have the opportunity to stand with Action for Canada, with Tanya Gaw, who is a tremendous example, a tremendous woman of courage.

00:14:58.180 And I hope that this will inspire other men of God and women of God, pastors, to not close their doors the next time, but to remain open and remain faithful to the truth.

00:15:11.500 My attitude was not one of rebellion against the government.

00:15:14.980 But my attitude was one of obedience to God and his word.

00:15:19.740 And I think that's very important.

00:15:22.060 I've heard some pastors say recently, I read some reports that they felt that the church was not essential.

00:15:29.360 You could have church at home.

00:15:30.820 You could go on Zoom.

00:15:32.640 And yet I was thinking, well, if that's the case, why have we spent these billions of dollars across North America building buildings?

00:15:40.900 If you don't feel that the building is important for the church to gather.

00:15:45.860 And of course, the church is God's people.

00:15:48.280 Then if you want to sell your buildings and send me the money, I'll build a bigger building and I'll open it up for people that are hungry for worship.

00:15:57.020 They're hungry to gather together.

00:15:58.820 They're hungry to hear the word of God being preached and to be encouraged by our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

00:16:05.500 And so I really pray that some pastors will change their attitude, will be free from fear.

00:16:15.300 Revelations talks about cowardice.

00:16:17.600 That's not a good thing for a Christian.

00:16:20.000 We're to be as bold as lions.

00:16:22.520 We're not to run, but we're to face the enemy in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ.

00:16:29.540 And Jesus has been faithful to me throughout my life.

00:16:32.520 He's been faithful to our fellowship, Living Waters Fellowship in Black Creek.

00:16:37.380 And as a result, we've seen growth.

00:16:39.720 We've had tremendous influence in our community and we continue to do so for the glory of God.

00:16:45.640 And ultimately, that's what it's all about, the glory of Jesus Christ.

00:19:10.200 Now, it's my privilege and blessing and honor to introduce the next pastoral guest, Pastor Arthur Pawlowski, who is a senior pastor of Street Church in Calgary.

00:19:21.920 Prior to COVID, Pastor Arthur was well known as an advocate for the poor and the homeless.

00:19:28.020 Pastor Arthur immigrated from Poland to Canada in 1973 and is therefore very familiar with the abuse of power under communist regime.

00:19:39.540 Pastor Arthur is not only a Canadian clergyman, but also a civil and human rights activist.

00:19:46.020 And as such, he is unwilling to compromise and bow to government tyranny.

00:19:50.540 He is a ferocious defender of the faith and unwavering in preaching and obeying the word of God.

00:19:58.460 In 1920 and 2021, when the Alberta premier public health authorities and police services began violating the protections for conducting religious services and assemblies in Section 176 of the Criminal Code of Canada,

00:20:15.280 Pastor Arthur stood up and said no, and as a result, endured fines, arrest, jail and solitary confinement and torture, if you hear his testimony.

00:20:27.000 The Calgary Police Service staged highly visible takedowns to publicly embarrass him.

00:20:32.720 Instead, Pastor Arthur became a hero of the faith for all right-thinking Albertans and Canadians who believe in standing up for order, liberty and freedom.

00:20:43.760 Pastor, it is an absolute privilege and blessing to have you.

00:20:47.620 We shared actually some stories as well, too.

00:20:50.300 The first time I met you, which was at the courthouse in Vancouver, and you had shared that this is actually a picture of me holding up one of the signs with Pastor Arthur.

00:21:01.900 And so it was just the whole bloodline thing.

00:21:05.640 My grandfather dying in a Siberian work camp.

00:21:09.940 And I'll let you share just a minute about your ancestry in a very similar Siberian work camp.

00:21:17.380 But it is a pleasure and honor to have you, my brother, be with us.

00:21:21.720 Please share with us and how God has led you, directed you, guided you, blessed you, and continues to do so.

00:21:28.420 Well, thank you so much for having me again.

00:21:33.180 I mean, it's always a privilege to talk to you and to be with you and hopefully put some fire in the hearts of other people, in the spirits and the souls of other people as well that are watching this and will be watching this later on.

00:21:49.780 So you're absolutely right.

00:21:51.560 As you can tell very quickly, I grew up behind the Iron Curtain under the boots of the Soviets in a country called Poland.

00:22:00.520 So for us, it's a repetition of history.

00:22:04.480 We have been seeing these types of movies over and over again.

00:22:09.580 We have been attacked by the Nazis.

00:22:12.100 We have been attacked by the Ottoman Empire.

00:22:14.660 We have been attacked by the Vikings.

00:22:16.220 We have been attacked by the Mongolian Genghis Khan.

00:22:19.920 So for us, we have been there.

00:22:22.260 And the only way to stand up against tyranny is, and actually, quite frankly, to stand up against the bully.

00:22:30.500 I only know one way how to stand up against the bully.

00:22:33.860 Just, you know, give him a bloody nose and he will understand that it's going to cost him something as well.

00:22:40.540 So my grandfather actually escaped Siberia to Poland.

00:22:45.080 My grandma with my great uncle were caught by the Russians and taken to police station.

00:22:53.040 And my great uncle lowered my grandma on the rope and they escaped to Poland.

00:22:58.880 So fighting against tyrants and escaping and doing whatever we can, it's kind of in our blood.

00:23:06.700 My wife was the very one that was smuggling solidarity pamphlets in her backpack when we were growing up.

00:23:13.740 I saw the power of the people.

00:23:15.600 I saw the solidarity movement.

00:23:17.060 I saw where people come together in unity when they come in the name of God, because solidarity movement was a movement of God.

00:23:26.700 While the villains, the tyrants, the wannabe pharaohs, as I call them, they don't stand a chance.

00:23:33.980 Like I quite often tell the people that we already won.

00:23:37.500 I mean, we already know who wins.

00:23:39.240 We won.

00:23:39.720 The enemy just doesn't know it yet.

00:23:41.280 So that's the difference.

00:23:42.800 When David stood in front of the giants, David already won.

00:23:47.460 The enemy just did not know it.

00:23:49.460 Goliath still was arrogant and proudful.

00:23:51.760 It didn't know that he already lost.

00:23:54.580 Standing against the living God or God's representative, you are a loser to begin with.

00:24:02.120 So that's what I did.

00:24:03.180 I know the Bible.

00:24:04.040 I know my God, and I think this is the biggest problem that I have observed in Christianity, if you will, globally, that people do not know who their God is.

00:24:15.000 They don't know how powerful our God is.

00:24:17.600 They don't know that God holds our enemies in the palm of his hands.

00:24:23.380 They wake up in the morning because he says, they're still useful to me.

00:24:27.420 Also, people do not know who they are in Christ.

00:24:32.140 Think about it.

00:24:33.180 I am a son of the living God, heir to the throne.

00:24:37.200 I am the son of the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

00:24:41.260 I am the son of the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the life itself.

00:24:46.860 It's impossible for the children of such a king to lose.

00:24:52.280 So let me read a portion of scripture for you from Isaiah 41.10.

00:25:00.580 Here is what it says.

00:25:01.960 So do not fear.

00:25:03.220 That's God speaking.

00:25:04.580 For I am with you.

00:25:05.460 Why?

00:25:05.940 You're not to fear because Trudeau is not, or Trudeau Castro, as I call him, is not with you.

00:25:12.660 Um, why you are not to fear because the mayor is not with you or the police are not with you.

00:25:18.640 No.

00:25:19.540 So do not fear for I, the Lord, is with you.

00:25:23.680 Do not be dismayed for I am your God.

00:25:26.480 I will strengthen you and help you.

00:25:29.200 I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

00:25:33.500 All, all, not just few, not just some, all who rage against you.

00:25:38.400 You will surely be ashamed and disgraced.

00:26:12.200 So when those people started to attack me, and for me, of course, this whole ordeal started in 2005,

00:26:18.620 when a Canadian government declared that giving free goods and services,

00:26:23.740 feeding the homeless is now punishable by law, congregating is punishable by law,

00:26:29.220 distribution of printed material, Bibles, Gospel is punishable by law,

00:26:32.980 having an illegal signage, I had Jesus as King, I received $10,000 ticket for that illegal, illegal signage,

00:26:42.960 congregating, preaching, speaking, associating.

00:52:16.620 organization began to grow and leading, uh, I believe it was in 2018.

00:52:21.020 I should have written it down and I was appealing to God because Justin Trudeau, the writing was

00:52:26.540 on the wall when he was running for office, that he was going to destroy this nation, everything

00:52:30.320 that he was campaigning on.

00:52:32.220 So, you know, after many years of trying to get bills that they were passing in the legislature

00:52:37.760 stopped, I was appealing to God and I was on my knees and I, I said, he's just going

00:52:42.500 to destroy this nation, step in.

00:52:44.420 And God spoke to me in what I would say is an audible voice.

00:52:47.740 I wouldn't say that too often.

00:52:49.040 Um, it's happened very few times in my lifetime.

00:52:52.160 And, uh, he said that he would be the first prime minister removed from office.

00:52:56.520 And so in 2019, when the election came, there was many of us working Canada wide who were

00:53:02.520 working to get him a minority government and we were successful.

00:53:05.440 And that's why he's had to climb into bed with the NDP and the block of that qua and

00:53:10.020 all the rest, because he couldn't get her done on his own.

00:53:12.960 And, and I woke up the day after the election, I was like, like, Lord, what are you talking

00:53:17.120 He's still in office.

00:53:18.280 And God said to me, he says, my people are not ready.

00:53:23.120 Canadians have not suffered.

00:53:29.880 He said, there's still sexual deviancy that's going to get worse because Canadians refuse

00:53:35.500 to stand up against the sexual deviancy because they refuse to stand up about the idols that

00:57:12.740 response to COVID, which they never did, they did it to a phony truckers rally, uh, what

00:57:21.400 But even if they had, our bill of rights, our charter of rights cannot be infringed upon.

01:01:15.160 Each province passed the provincial emergency measures because Trudeau refused to pass the
