00:00:00.000regarding the case over Tyson Cook, drag queen Frida Wells, who had filed a defamation case
00:00:05.600against Action for Canada in December 2024. Lee Turner did an excellent job representing us.
00:00:12.860He put all of the facts and evidence forward. Tyson Cook's lawyer, I'm sorry, but they were
00:00:18.440grasping at straws trying to build their case. We never said they're trying to use the
00:00:24.080a Rainbow Alliance case where a fella had right out called drag queens, pedophiles, groomers and
00:00:31.440all the such. And Action for Canada has never done that. We brought attention to an individual who's
00:00:37.260working as an education assistant and had his videos and social media available one click away
00:00:42.680on his little guppies website for children that these children could access his adult content,0.75
00:00:48.840which included YouTube videos where he had murdered a real estate agent and a woman in an alley and with the real estate agent kind of chopped him up, dismembered him, put him through a grinder, was eating him and feeding him to his potbelly pig.
00:01:03.860We just really believed that this wasn't appropriate, that children would have access to this and that an education assistant, you know, would would make this available without thinking about, you know, the harm that this could cause children who could possibly access it.
00:01:19.160So the positive thing is, is that Action for Canada succeeded in Mr. Cook making a good decision and putting these things on private. But there's still some of the material is still one click away on his Web page from children accessing this. And it should be clearly two Web pages if that's the business that he's going to continue to be in.
00:01:38.580And so the court, the judge said at the end, due to everybody that showed up in the gallery, so thank you to everyone.
00:01:46.380I know it's a sacrifice to you to come on the Tuesday and the Thursday and sit with us, but especially on Tuesday, we filled the gallery.
00:01:53.960The judge took note. She said this is a matter of public interest.
00:01:57.620So on September 1st, she will be making her decision and I will be driving to Kelowna again for that.
00:02:06.220But this is costing us an extra $30,000 as well.
00:02:11.280It's a lot to defend the freedom of speech expression,
