00:01:15.040 talk to him anytime anywhere about anything and when you think of many big ministries or big companies

00:01:25.040 there's workers there in the ministries or in the big companies they never even see sometimes the ceo

00:01:32.000 or the president they never even talk to them and yet here with us us mortals are invited and into

00:03:55.520 in the world is action for canada doing what is this prayer walks all about this may be new for you

00:04:01.280 prayer may be new for you and uh a number of years ago a gentleman by the name of george barna now if

00:04:07.200 you're in ministry the name george barna would be familiar to you but george barna for decades has been

00:04:12.720 polling the world and the evangelical church about world topics and asking the same questions to both and

00:04:19.600 polling them and uh he has discovered a number of years ago actually not too long ago that the

00:04:26.080 average evangelical church goers pray an average of four and a half minutes a week wow it's no wonder

00:04:34.880 that we're in so much trouble right and when he polled the church about uh how much time they spent in

00:04:40.080 bible reading it was immeasurable they couldn't even measure it on a graph so it's no wonder that canada's

00:04:47.120 in trouble you know and so we really need to refocus on uh where we are as a nation and so

00:04:54.160 tonight i'm going to explain to you in a powerpoint presentation very shortly kind of what this is all

00:04:59.760 about what prayer is all about what a walk for revival is all about and how action for canada how

00:05:04.720 it all kind of came together so stay tuned for that but before we do that last year for seven weeks

00:05:11.360 our chapters across canada and a few churches participated in this walk for revival and so i'm

00:05:17.120 going to get terenzio to put on the video the compilation we had our chapters sent photos and

00:05:22.640 videos and so we had i think three videos that we put together but we put one last one to kind of

00:05:28.800 showcase what the chapters did from coast to coast and so we just want to show you what that looked

00:06:26.480 afternoon and most staff at the chilliwack school board had gone home for the day action for canada

00:06:31.520 held a prayer walk outside of the building on airport road the actual march to the school board

00:06:36.720 office started at 3 in the afternoon at chilliwack city hall and then made its way to the school

00:06:40.960 headquarters this walk was for and we quote from for the school board its trustees teachers employees

00:06:48.160 and students and students where quote we prayed and marched around the building seven times

00:07:02.480 for the field of mission necessary going on the school board as films scholarships and their taskketrav

00:07:09.520 use which the sons of my father handles and recampionsized in addition to Abraham to victory

00:14:59.800 And so we're going to take this journey because Passover to Pentecost is something that is God's idea, actually in Scripture.

00:15:06.940 And because we don't have Tanya's news show.

00:15:36.920 And so we're going to go into Israel into Israel into Israel into the land of Canaan, into the land of Canaan, into that whole kind of area, God had promised that land to Abraham.

00:15:44.060 And so one of the patriarchs,

00:16:44.060 Two of his servants, one was a baker and the other one was a cupbearer thrown into prison.

00:16:54.020 And they both had dreams.

00:16:55.160 And Joseph interpreted their dreams.

00:16:58.040 It took a couple of years for him to get out of prison.

00:17:01.160 But long story short, he came to interpret a dream for Pharaoh.

00:17:08.200 Now, here's where it gets really cool.

00:17:10.360 Some people say, you know what?

00:17:11.700 The Bible is just a book written by men.

00:17:16.240 Well, if we were to make that argument, books are always written by men.

00:17:22.980 But the Bible is not just a book written by men.

00:17:26.460 It was written by 40 men in three continents over 1,400 years.

00:17:32.720 But here's what's cool about it.

00:17:34.120 It's full of close to 2,000 prophecies over a few thousand years that were that have all come to to pass.

00:17:44.500 So if it's just a book written by men, how do you explain that?

00:17:48.940 That is so cool.

00:17:50.540 And so here's what happens.

00:17:51.740 Pharaoh has a dream, doesn't understand it.

00:17:53.980 And they say, wait a minute, there's a guy in prison.

00:17:57.260 Apparently, he can interpret dreams.

00:17:59.560 So they bring Joseph.

00:18:01.220 And Joseph says, OK, Pharaoh, here's your dream.

00:18:03.960 There's going to be seven years of plenty, followed by seven years of incredible famine.

00:18:11.580 Pharaoh believes him.

00:18:12.700 And you know what happens?

00:18:13.940 It's true, right?

00:18:15.720 And it's written in the Bible, a book written by man, but prophecy fulfilled.

00:18:21.540 And so here's what happened.

00:18:23.640 They gather up for seven years and there's plenty.

00:18:27.160 There's more than enough grain in that.

00:18:29.940 And so during that time of famine, Jacob sends his other sons over to Egypt.

00:18:35.520 And it's a long story, but I'll condense it for you.

00:18:38.480 Joseph reveals himself.

00:18:40.100 He had had dreams that his family were going to bow down to him someday.

00:18:43.500 And so he brings his whole family to live in the land of Goshen, 72 of them.

00:18:50.160 Well, Pharaoh dies.

00:18:52.320 Joseph dies.

00:18:53.620 All of his family dies.

00:18:54.900 But the family gets to stay there and they begin to grow and to multiply.

00:18:59.620 Well, after a little while, they multiply so fast because God blesses them.

00:19:04.840 The Egyptians say there's a problem here.

00:19:07.620 There's more than that.

00:19:08.780 So let's enslave them.

00:19:09.800 So for 430 years total, the Israelites living in Egypt are slaves.

00:19:18.180 And so God promises to get them out.

00:19:20.400 God had promised that.

00:19:21.720 Again, another prophecy.

00:19:23.420 See?

00:19:24.240 But it came to pass that God tapped Moses on the shoulder.

00:19:29.520 And I'm really condensing the story now.

00:19:31.260 So if you want the whole thing, you'll have to go to Exodus and read it, okay?

00:19:34.820 An 80-year-old man who had killed an Egyptian.

00:19:38.100 Tell me God doesn't have grace and mercy, right?

00:19:40.740 You may be old.

00:19:42.100 You may have had a checkered past.

00:19:44.140 God can still use you.

00:19:45.860 And so God sends Moses to Egypt.

00:19:48.760 And he says, Pharaoh's not going to let them go.

00:19:51.460 He's not.

00:19:52.860 But I'm going to show Moses who God is.

00:19:55.080 And so there's 10 plagues.

00:19:56.240 Now, the 10th plague is the one that was really going to break the camel's back.

00:19:59.580 And God says to Moses, tell your people who are all living in Goshen.

00:20:06.900 Well, actually, you know what?

00:20:08.120 Let's go ahead here.

00:20:09.800 Oh, I need to just move this bar here a little bit.

00:20:12.180 He says, every firstborn son in Egypt will die.

00:20:16.120 This is the 10th plague that was going to happen, okay?

00:20:19.100 It doesn't matter if you're Pharaoh's in Pharaoh's house.

00:20:22.320 It doesn't matter if you're the firstborn son of a slave, even the cattle, everything

00:20:30.460 belonging to Egypt.

00:20:32.260 This is the plague that's going to release the Israelites from Egypt.

00:20:38.520 The angel of death will come.

00:20:41.020 You think, my, that's horrible.

00:20:43.380 But this was God going to demonstrate his power.

00:20:46.440 In Exodus 11, but among the Israelites, not even a dog will bark.

00:20:50.260 There was going to be silence.

00:20:52.980 They were going to be protected.

00:20:54.940 This is how you will know that the Lord makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.

00:21:00.180 But here's how they were going to be protected.

00:21:02.380 Again, this doesn't make sense.

00:21:05.300 In Exodus 12, 7, then they are to take some blood and put it on the sides and the tops of

00:21:10.100 the door frames of the houses where they eat the lambs.

00:21:13.480 The blood will be assigned through the houses where you are.

00:21:16.060 And when I see the blood, I will pass over you.

00:21:20.260 That's where we get the name Passover or the word phrase Passover.

00:21:25.120 No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.

00:21:28.220 Now, I want to just go back real quick for a second here.

00:21:33.780 Pay attention here to the road because it goes from Passover to Pentecost in the middle is

00:21:42.740 the story of the cross of Christ, the death, burial and resurrection all the way to Pentecost.

00:21:48.420 We're going to end up at Pentecost.

00:21:49.980 There's a 50 day celebration here.

00:21:52.680 OK, so let's move on here.

00:21:54.820 Because in Exodus chapter 12, verse 5, then we see the community of Israel were to on the

00:22:05.820 first day of this month, which is Nisan.

00:22:09.020 Please understand that the Hebrew calendar doesn't start January 1st like ours.

00:22:12.960 It begins in the spring.

00:22:14.820 Now, this sometimes is in March.

00:22:16.820 Sometimes it's in April.

00:22:18.000 So on the 10th day, each man was to take a lamp, a pure, unblemished lamp, a year old,

00:22:23.940 bring it into their house for four days.

00:22:26.420 So after four days, you kind of get attached to this thing, right?

00:22:30.140 But God said on the fourth day, you are to slaughter that lamp and take the blood from

00:22:35.880 it and put it on the top of the door and on the jams, the doorpost.

00:22:40.620 And you are to eat the lamp quickly and be ready for this journey, because that's when the

00:22:47.780 angel of death is going to come.

00:22:49.320 Look at verse, chapter 12, verses 11.

00:22:51.880 Eat it in haste.

00:22:53.120 It is the Lord's Passover.

00:22:56.580 Go down to Leviticus 23, verse 5 there, just below the lambs there.

00:23:01.120 The Lord's Passover begins at twilight on the 14th day of the first month of Nisan.

00:23:07.000 From the day after the Sabbath, that day you brought the sheaf of the weaf offering.

00:23:10.660 And then verse 16, count off.

00:23:12.040 50 days up to the day of the seventh Sabbath, men present an offering of new great Lord.

00:23:18.400 That's what we call the counting of the Omer.

00:23:20.640 Now, during that 50 days, it's a long story.

00:23:24.660 So I'm going to shorten it for you.

00:23:26.400 The Israelites have all kinds of festivals that they hold, they celebrate.

00:23:31.520 And it's a time of remembering what God did, because it was between one and two million

00:23:38.020 Israelites that God released and freed out of bondage and slavery from Egypt.

00:23:45.520 So that's why they celebrate for 50 days, seven weeks from Passover to Pentecost.

00:23:52.260 OK, so just keep that in mind.

00:23:54.180 So let's move on here.

00:23:55.340 So what happened then?

00:23:56.300 So when they left, God told them, the Israelites, to tell the Egyptians, give us some of your

00:24:03.280 riches, give us some of your gold, some of your clothing, some of your silver.

00:24:07.200 And that night there was loud wailing.

00:24:11.520 Incredible wailing, because there wasn't one household that didn't have death in it.

00:24:17.340 And Pharaoh literally chased the Israelites out.

00:24:22.740 I'll leave the rest of the story for you to read.

00:24:25.000 The Israelite, sorry, the Egyptian army was wiped out.

00:24:29.180 And unlike the Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston, Pharaoh was also killed in the Red

00:24:35.140 Sea when the Red Sea collapsed on it.

00:24:37.660 Look at Exodus 317.

00:24:39.220 And I promise to bring you up out of your misery into Egypt, into the land of the Canaanites,

00:24:44.920 the Hittites, the Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, a land flowing with milk

00:24:49.940 and honey.

00:24:50.240 Now, we're not going to take the time, but in the book of Genesis, God had taken Abraham

00:24:56.220 to walk all that land.

00:24:58.320 And God said to Abraham, I am giving you, Abraham, this land and to your descendants,

00:25:06.280 everywhere your foot touches, I am giving you, Abraham, all of this land as a promise to you.

00:25:14.240 Now, fast forward to Joshua.

00:25:18.860 Moses is now dead.

00:25:20.620 Now then, you and all these people get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land that

00:25:24.260 I'm about to give them, to them, to the Israelites.

00:25:28.600 Verse 3, I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses.

00:25:32.540 Moses, your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates,

00:25:39.700 all the Hittite country to the Mediterranean Sea in the West.

00:25:44.000 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life.

00:25:47.880 As I was with Moses, so I will be with you.

00:25:50.680 I will never leave you, nor forsake you.

00:25:52.480 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land that I

00:25:57.560 swore to give them.

00:25:58.540 Damn, that's around the year 1451.

00:26:02.360 Now, you can see the route that they traced there.

00:26:05.000 And God was telling Joshua, go, you're going to wipe out these countries because the people

00:26:09.960 there were bad.

00:26:10.780 They were sacrificing and killing their children to false gods.

00:26:15.020 And, you know, you may not agree with it, but these were horrible people.

00:26:18.480 And God knew that that was right deep in their hearts.

00:26:22.160 So let's look at the first city that they came to that they had to conquer.

00:26:26.000 Sometimes, you know, you have huge things in your life.

00:26:29.540 You think, my goodness, this is a mountain.

00:26:31.640 I don't know that I can conquer this this huge city, this big thing.

00:26:36.360 You have to understand that when they came across the Jordan, the biggest fortified city

00:26:42.500 that existed in that day was the city of Jericho.

00:26:46.760 Now, I would say you can still go to Jericho today and see it.

00:26:49.540 But, you know, there's a war going on there.

00:26:51.060 So it's probably not a safe place for you to go.

00:26:54.120 But again, this is something that did not make sense.

00:26:57.460 You know, God rescued the Israelites, put blood on the doorpost.

00:27:00.620 It didn't make sense, but it proved it showed the power of God.

00:27:04.440 So they come to this great walled city and they're thinking, oh, my goodness, what are

00:27:08.780 we going to do?

00:27:09.200 We're not trained soldiers.

00:27:10.940 We don't have weapons of war.

00:27:12.560 So God, excuse me, God says, you're going to walk around this city one time, once a day

00:27:21.380 for six days.

00:27:22.780 On the seventh day, you're going to walk around it seven times.

00:27:26.840 And on the seventh time, you're going to blow the trumpet or the shofar.

00:27:32.680 If I were then, I'd be hearing that, I'd be thinking, wow, really?

00:27:37.160 That's how we're going to do it?

00:27:38.340 But I want to put things into perspective.

00:27:43.180 There's hundreds of thousands of Israelites.

00:27:47.640 Really, the biggest city in that day, it really was only about 10.3 acres.

00:27:54.540 And there was a population of two to three thousand.

00:27:58.000 Putting that in perspective, that was the biggest problem that they had to face.

00:28:02.300 Right.

00:28:02.600 And if you look at what's going on in Canada right now, there's 40 million of us and there's

00:28:09.040 what, 338 politicians sitting in Ottawa.

00:28:12.320 Let's put that in perspective.

00:28:14.200 Why is it we can't change things?

00:28:17.480 Well, it's become a God problem at this point.

00:28:19.980 All right.

00:28:20.440 Let's put that in further perspective.

00:28:22.260 That's a 3D model of what the city of Jericho looked like then to what, to exactly where

00:28:30.100 it is would have been located today.

00:28:34.580 The Tel El, whatever it's called.

00:28:37.540 I forget what it was called there.

00:28:39.540 But you can see the actual streets in Jericho today, the roads.

00:28:44.300 You can see some farmers fields there and you can see the houses.

00:28:47.120 It would take you one half hour to walk around that city today if you were to walk.

00:28:54.260 I mean, the average person walks four miles an hour.

00:28:56.700 It would take you and I half an hour to walk around that.

00:29:00.540 So look at the problems we're facing in Canada right now.

00:29:03.480 So tyranny, corruption, injustice, crime.

00:29:06.240 Well, war, you know, there's war in the world, unemployment, hunger, suicide, broken

00:29:09.520 homes and families, weak churches, sudden deaths.

00:29:12.740 But I want you to see what God said to Joshua in Joshua 1, 8 and 9.

00:29:19.240 He gave him the recipe for success.

00:29:21.900 So God says to Joshua, keep this book of the law always on your lips.

00:29:27.280 Speaking of God's word, meditate on a day in life so that you may be careful to do everything

00:29:32.980 written in it.

00:29:34.420 Then and only then will you be successful and prosperous.

00:29:39.000 Have I not commanded you be strong and courageous?

00:29:43.460 Do not be afraid.

00:29:45.240 Do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be wherever you go.

00:29:48.760 When you start reading Joshua chapter one, you will see the phrase over and over and over

00:29:53.120 and over again by God.

00:29:54.820 Only be strong and courageous.

00:29:56.680 Be strong and courageous because God knew that Joshua would face some times where people

00:30:01.940 would say, Joshua, what are you doing?

00:30:04.060 We're not soldiers.

00:30:05.100 We don't have any weapons.

00:30:06.160 Look at this city.

00:30:07.020 And Joshua would have to say, just trust me and trust God.

00:30:10.660 We can do this.

00:30:12.660 But the recipe was keep God's word before you.

00:30:17.440 It's been tested before.

00:30:19.200 It's been tried before.

00:30:20.640 And God says, walk.

00:30:22.180 We're going to walk and we're going to trust God.

00:30:25.120 And that's exactly what they did.

00:30:27.200 So what's that got to do with Action for Canada?

00:30:29.840 And why are we doing this?

00:30:31.720 And how did this come about?

00:30:32.980 Well, you and I all have different backgrounds and we have to realize that four years ago

00:30:40.620 was kind of a gift, a godsend, a confusing time in our world.

00:30:45.960 And so my story is this spring of 2022 happened or sorry, spring of 2020 happened.

00:30:54.080 And when it happened, we all kind of woke up in a different way.

00:30:58.720 Now, I've got at that time, I had close to 30 years in emergency medicine.

00:31:05.040 OK.

00:31:05.300 And so when they told us what was going on and how we were going to respond to it,

00:31:11.720 you know, with the masking and the jabs and all that, with my 30 years of emergency medicine,

00:31:16.720 I thought, no, that doesn't make sense.

00:31:18.680 Nope, that's not how you do things.

00:31:21.320 But I also had 20 years of ministry and I realized the way it hit the world

00:31:25.680 and the way people responded, I also realized this is a spiritual battle.

00:31:31.040 So my eyes were opened in more ways than one.

00:31:34.520 But also.

00:31:36.480 We had as an organization been facing some spiritual issues.

00:31:42.080 In the spring of 2022, and so Ron Riewald at the time was overseeing the pastoral ministry

00:31:49.920 and I had come alongside to help him.

00:31:52.820 And at the end of March, I was on a phone call with Ron and I said, Ron,

00:31:56.120 I feel the Lord laying on my heart that we need to fast and pray for action for Canada.

00:32:00.240 And he was like, oh, Dan, oh, yes, God's been laying the same thing on my heart.

00:32:06.360 And so we chose a date early in April.

00:32:08.540 We had to bump it and we had to bump it again.

00:32:10.700 And so we started it.

00:32:12.860 And so we put it out to all of our participants, everyone with Action for Canada.

00:32:18.160 And we had, I forget if it was 112 or 116 people join us every morning at 7 a.m.

00:32:24.520 PSE for a time of prayer and fasting.

00:32:27.240 We said, we're going to do this for a week.

00:32:29.600 Well, on day four, people started connecting with us and saying, hey, could we do this longer?

00:32:35.820 Remember, things are starting to happen in my home, in my family, in my children, in my church, in my life.

00:32:44.940 Like God is starting to do things.

00:32:46.460 The healings are starting to happen.

00:32:48.860 So Ron and I were like, well, yeah, maybe we can do it.

00:32:51.380 So let's extend it maybe 10 days, maybe two weeks, maybe a little bit longer, maybe for a month.

00:32:56.660 Well, then we just left it open.

00:32:59.360 And so then we realized maybe three weeks into it, we had started at Passover.

00:33:07.560 So we thought, you know what, let's go to Pentecost.

00:33:09.760 So at Pentecost, we officially ended, but we had a lot of people, probably 65, 70 still at the end.

00:33:16.500 They said, could we continue this like regularly?

00:33:19.160 So we decided to do a Monday, Wednesday, Friday Zoom internet or Zoom call every Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 7 a.m. PST.

00:33:28.660 And so it became an international prayer ministry, which continues to this day because we have some people from Germany that join with us.

00:33:37.680 And so last year, Ron had moved on to other things.

00:33:43.600 And so as I was preparing to do all this, God kept saying to my heart, Jericho, Jericho, Jericho.

00:33:51.620 And I was like, Lord, what are you saying by that?

00:33:53.160 What are you saying?

00:33:54.780 So when I grew up in Montreal, on our block, there was a vacant building just down the road.

00:34:01.020 And there was a group that wanted to turn that vacant building into a tavern.

00:34:06.520 And some of the leadership men in my church decided to go around that building and walk around and pray and do a Jericho walk around it and pray against it.

00:34:18.560 And the people wanted to open that tavern, never got a liquor license.

00:34:26.260 Remember, I was just a child.

00:34:27.460 And one of our churches in Quebec City, across the road from them, was an empty building.

00:34:35.260 They wanted to open a strip club.

00:34:36.880 And so they did a Jericho walk for a little while.

00:34:39.820 Sometime later, the building burnt down.

00:34:41.640 And I thought, oh, well, that's interesting.

00:34:43.800 Again, they did a Jericho walk.

00:34:45.680 So here I am, decades later, and God's speaking to my heart.

00:34:49.160 How are we going to pray for our nation?

00:34:50.740 Man, things are really messed up.

00:34:52.220 And God kept saying to me, Jericho, Jericho.

00:34:55.320 So I thought, you know what?

00:34:56.340 Why don't we pray on site with purpose?

00:35:01.180 Why don't we pray and do these Jericho walks and see if the walls don't start tumbling down?

00:35:08.660 And so that's what we did.

00:35:10.040 And again, from Passover to Pentecost, remembering what God has done.

00:35:14.480 And so we did that last year for seven weeks.

00:35:18.080 And then this year, again, we're doing it again because we're following the Jewish Passover to Pentecost because there's a lot of spiritual significance in that.

00:35:41.100 There, that's actually the Toronto police that decided to paint their police vehicle with a gay, trans flag around it.

00:35:54.600 You'd be hard pressed to find any of those anymore.

00:35:56.720 Now it's all kinds of weird stuff, right?

00:35:58.620 But you see the Board of Education painted all kinds of weird.

00:36:02.660 But here we are with our banners, those folks with the umbrellas there.

00:36:12.240 But anyhow, so here we are, rain or shine, we're going around, we're praying for a country, even the children, with our Christian flags.

00:36:21.820 Now, not that we can do it, but God can do it in obedience to prayer.

00:36:26.260 And we're saying, God, this problem is bigger than us.

00:36:28.960 We've taken God out of schools, out of government, and our families are broken apart, and we need help.

00:36:36.020 And Lord, even our churches, they just want to preach the gospel, but they don't want to address the issues.

00:36:43.580 And so that is how Action for Canada became involved in this.

00:36:47.820 I'm not going to spend time on this, but these are our prayer points that we're praying for.

00:36:51.360 Or every time we walk by a church, we say, God, bless this church.

00:36:54.580 If they're asleep, wake them up.

00:36:56.700 And the families that come and join with us, we pray for them and our governments.

00:37:01.280 Every time we come to a flagpole, a place of authority, we pray for that place.

00:37:05.480 We pray for our government leaders because God loves them, too.

00:37:13.600 We can expect, you know, God, the Lord said before he was ascended into heaven,

00:37:24.060 But then he said to his disciples, go and wait for the promise of the Holy Spirit.

00:37:30.240 They didn't know what to expect.

00:37:32.800 And the amazing thing is, just let me read it to you here in Acts 1, 4 to 5.

00:37:55.020 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

00:37:58.120 Suddenly, a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

00:38:04.680 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

00:38:09.300 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

00:38:14.160 And then they went out and they changed the world.

00:38:17.540 And that was the birth and inception of the church as we know it.

00:38:21.620 And those of you that are born again believers, it's because somebody told you about it and somebody told them about it and somebody told them about it.

00:38:35.500 And so we can't always understand the ways of God, how he defeats our enemies and gives us victory.

00:40:15.040 The church in Canada needs prayer.

00:40:18.340 We read in the book of Revelations,

00:40:20.460 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot.

00:40:24.700 I wish that you were one or the other.

00:40:27.500 Because you are lukewarm, I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

00:40:32.240 This, of course, was spoken to the church in Laodicea.

00:40:34.880 In Canada, unfortunately, many mainline denominations have completely given themselves over

00:40:41.840 to sinful behavior, and even allowed all kinds of lascivious type behaviors into their church.

00:40:48.920 God's Word tells us in Matthew 3, to repent, for the kingdom of God is near.

00:40:55.880 We're also reminded in James 5, 16, that the prayer of a righteous person is powerfully ineffective.

00:41:03.140 The Lord told His disciples and His followers,

00:41:05.420 My house will be called the house of prayer.

00:41:09.160 When God's people turn back to the Lord in prayer, in rightful worship, disseminating the Word of God,

00:41:15.760 then Canada will certainly begin to be changed.

00:41:19.900 It's time to see our church parking lots filled once again with people returning to God

00:41:25.020 and choosing to make Him the number one priority.

00:41:30.260 Our families have been under attack in Canada in the last number of years.

00:41:34.120 The traditional family has been diminished, and it's time that we really begin to uphold our families in prayer.

00:41:41.980 Our children, particularly children going to public school, have been targets of the enemy.

00:41:48.820 You know, when they say, we're here, we're queer, we're coming for your children in the public streets in our large cities,

00:41:56.040 we've got to pay attention to what's going on.

00:41:58.460 Even the heads of states and our leaders are not good examples, so we can't really look to them for that.

00:42:07.220 No to these sexualized-type curriculums in our schools for our children.

00:42:12.780 And even though some of these people have a month to celebrate their lascivious-type behaviors,

00:42:17.980 now they're wanting a season, we are saying no.

00:42:21.680 Leave our kids alone.

00:42:23.160 And the pressure may be on, but you know what?

00:42:27.220 Across the country, whatever title some of these curriculums may have,

00:42:31.780 be it WinSexEd, Beyond the Basics, or SOGI123,

00:42:36.020 no matter how they try to normalize this lifestyle,

00:42:40.240 we are saying no.

00:42:41.880 We are going to protect our children.

00:42:44.320 And these children of ours are a gift from God.

00:42:47.260 So we need to pray for strong, traditional families across our land.

00:42:51.360 We are reminded in Proverbs 23, verse 24,

00:42:55.740 A man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.

00:43:01.120 The third area that we really need to pray for this year is our government.

00:43:06.760 Certainly, there's been a lot of corruption and tyranny in government.

00:43:10.900 We realize that we have such a broken justice system,

00:43:14.200 and the rule of law has not been obeyed at all.

00:43:16.820 Do you realize that etched in stone and stained glass in our parliament

00:43:21.620 are a number of scripture?

00:43:23.560 Here's just a few.

00:43:24.980 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea.

00:43:28.700 He shall execute judgment and justice from the earth.

00:43:33.020 Quit you like men, or act like men, and be strong.

00:43:36.800 And here's a quote from Pericles.

00:43:38.760 Freedom is the sure possession of these alone

00:43:41.100 who have the courage to defend it.

00:43:43.120 We realize that our world is at war,

00:43:46.720 and though some of these wars are fought a world away,

00:43:49.660 Canada is also in a very sad state right now.

00:43:53.420 We've got a problem with mass immigration

00:43:55.560 that's causing all kinds of issues here.

00:43:57.960 We need to protect our borders.

00:44:00.120 We need to protect our sovereignty at home.

00:44:02.900 And although we realize that some parts of the world are at war,

00:44:06.940 Canada is also under attack.

00:44:09.240 We have allowed false gods to come in through our land

00:44:12.260 through false religions.

00:44:14.620 And for this reason, we are inviting you
