I just want to spend a few moments this evening as we start addressing something that's probably in the minds of most of you, and that's the dreaded Bill C9.

As you probably heard, it has gone and pushed through the House of Commons and much to the chagrin of many Canadians.

But really, are we really that surprised at the speed of which this is going through?

First of all, I want to really, really encourage you.

I want to encourage you not to be dismayed, not to be discouraged, not to be full of fear.

OK, so for those of you that are believers in the Lord, God is still on the throne and

And the Lord Jesus, when he was walking this earth, did say in the last days there will

Now, whether that means the Lord's coming back, you know, in a few weeks, in a few months

And Canada has had it relatively easy in the last little while.

the last number of years. We live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Unfortunately, we have had tyrannical leaders going on about 11 years now. And so we have to

push through. But I do want to really encourage you. It's not over yet. And so there are just

the COVID days? We learned a lot of things in those days. And some people would be saying,

never again. We learned things from them. We know it was a scam. We know that what the

government said was good for us, in fact, was not good for us. And so we're not going back to those

days. And so we're going to stand our ground. But I want to remind you of what three young men,

to action for canada this may be the first time you hear about it you may be wondering what in

the world is a prayer walk for revival and uh why do you do it why is it so important so before i

get into it i i wanted to share something with you uh a number of years ago every year i used
00:13:09.540
to get some materials from george barna and if you know the name george barna was a um a christian
00:13:18.340
pollster so every year he would poll the church and he would poll the world and he would ask
00:13:23.940
them the same questions to kind of get the temperature of uh you know where the church
00:13:29.060
was going and what the church where the world was going and kind of like what the world thought of
00:13:33.700
the church and the church thought of the world well in his uh i think the last book that he
00:13:38.980
published before he sold his research company one of the questions was how much time do you pray
00:13:45.460
and and particularly to the evangelical church and he found that the average evangelical prayed
00:13:51.740
four minutes a week and so it's no wonder and this is years ago and it's no wonder that maybe
00:14:00.600
canada is kind of like in the pickle that it is when it came time to when he asked how much time

do you spend in the word of God, the numbers were so low that they couldn't even graph it.

And so if you wonder why Canada is in the mess that it is today, our values, our ethics,

and our morals have been thrown up the door. Our churches really are weak. And God's word really

has been compromised. And so all that to say that in the last number of years, when the current

government has come in, the liberal government has come in 11 years ago. Certain things have
00:14:41.100
been pushed through unchallenged. But if you've been around with Action for Canada for the last
00:14:46.440
number of years, we say we're the church without walls. We have been addressing some of these
00:14:50.580
issues head on from a biblical standpoint. And so when COVID came around, we hit these things head

on. We were helping churches stay open using the Constitution, using the criminal code. And so
00:15:05.820
we we were addressing this with pastors. And so Tanya and Ron were holding some some online
00:15:13.720
seminars and like three and four hundred pastors were starting to join these calls and getting
00:15:19.680
good information. And after about six, seven, eight weeks, those the number of people joining
00:15:24.640
those calls started to go down. And so Tanya had the idea of maybe starting some chapters across
00:15:31.120
Canada. And that's exactly what happened. And that's why we have chapters across Canada right

now. And what happened, though, is we didn't have the vetting process in place then that we have
00:15:43.420
today. And so we kind of mushroomed. We exploded. We had a lot of new chapters come and sprout

literally all over the country. But we had some chapter leaders that I would call them infiltrators

that had a different theology and doctrine and different motives, so to speak.

And so by in the fall and the early winter of 2022, we realized that our message was

And so we had probably 30, maybe even 40 chapter leaders that were of the New Age persuasion,

and they were really pushing their new age message and so we had to you know we had to

come to a conclusion that we were going to have to leave cut some people off and and close a
00:16:39.260
number of chapters well that didn't go over so well and so we brought a gentleman into to speak

to our group by the name of alan strudwick and alan strudwick was an expert on new age because
00:16:51.300
he had been involved in the new age for a number of years he was like one of their top gurus and uh
00:16:57.380
and so it left kind of a big hole and it left a lot of hurt within some of our chapters and

come spring 2023 uh the lord laid it on my heart to uh have a time of prayer and fasting with our
00:17:12.040
people just to kind of a time of healing and a time to bring people back together and so we had
00:17:18.140
chosen a date in March 2023 to have this event. And unfortunately, the date got changed, and then
00:17:24.880
it got changed again. And so here we were in sometime in April. And so what we did is we

opened it up to all of you that were there around at the time. And something like 140 people signed
00:17:36.760
up to do a Zoom call once a day and to pray and to fast, all things action for Canada.

Well, it turns out that about 123 people, I think, joined that first few days.

And by the end of the week, it was down to, I think, maybe 120.

But what happened is a number of people said, hey, this is good.

Things are happening in our family because we were praying for each other.

And so the consensus was we need to keep doing this.

So we added another week and then we added another week and then we added another week.

But before we had done this, the Lord kept putting on my heart, Jericho walk, Jericho walk, Jericho walk.

And if any of you grew up in churches as a child, you would have heard the story of Joshua and the walls of Jericho.

So let me pause for a second and take you there.

So when Moses led the Israelites out of captivity in Egypt, they had been captives and slaves there for 430 years.

God says, see, I lay before you the land, now go and conquer it.

The problem was, that land was home to the Hittites and the Canaanites and the Hivites and the parasites,

let's kind of call them, a whole group of people who were involved in idolatry,

They were sacrificing their children to these demonic gods,
00:19:13.360
And so what Moses did is he took 12 spies and he sent them out to to look out the land, to scour the land.

And so they came back and the report came back that the land, in fact, was a good land.

It was a productive land. It flowed with milk and honey.

But 10 of the spies says, but we can't go. We can't take it.

Now, you see, Joshua and Caleb remembered the parting of the Red Sea.

They remembered the manna that God provided every day.

They remembered the quail that God was providing every day.

They knew who their God was, and they knew that God would help them.

But because the tent prevailed, as a matter of fact, they talked of stoning Moses,

and they said, let's appoint a new leader, and let's go back to Egypt.

God says, I'm going to punish you, and this entire generation will die in the desert.

So for 40 years, an eight-day march from Egypt to the Promised Land took them 40 years.

And so they wandered around, and that entire generation died in the desert.

fast forward 40 years moses dies joshua is put in charge and now god says to joshua

in the first chapter of joshua i think it's mentioned three or four or five times

do not fear do not be afraid and i want to pass that message along to you today you know we're

looking at c9 in the state of our country in the economy we just got word that our gas just went up

And so God said to Joshua, I want you to go in the first city you're going to come to is the city of Jericho.

And the city of Jericho had these big walls that were impenetrable.

And so the Lord says, for six days, walk around.

be silent be quiet but on the seventh day walk around six times and on the seventh day

shout a great shout for the lord has given you the city and so we call that a jericho walk

and so god of course gave them the victory what some people don't realize and understand is

jericho was the most fortified city in that day jericho was only 10 square acres and they had a

population of about 2,000 to 2,500 people. You can still go and see the actual site today where

those walls were. And historians, as well as archaeologists, all confirmed that the walls

actually fell into the city and not out. It's an incredible story. And so the Lord kept putting on

my heart Jericho walk as we were starting these primings. And so I said, let's have our chapters

go out into their cities and walk around their buildings and around places of authority and

let's do a Jericho walk. And so that's what began our first annual, we didn't know it was going to

be an annual thing, but our first annual prayer walk for revival. And so the nuts and bolts of it,

you about Action for Canada's annual prayer walk for revival. We get two common questions that I'd

like to answer. The first one is, what is a prayer walk for revival? And the second one is, how can I

get involved? Well, to answer the first question, what is a prayer walk for revival? In the book of
00:23:36.620
Joshua chapter 6, we read about Israel's conquest of Canaan. The first city that they came to was

And God gave the instructions to his people that for the first six days,

And on the seventh day, they were to walk around that city seven times,
00:23:57.040
then blow the shofar and shout a great shout of victory,

As it turns out, those great fortified walls surrounding the city fell down.

The Israelites were able to go in and conquer the city.

And so, in essence, a prayer walk for revival is like a Jericho walk.

usually lasting from Passover to Pentecost and those dates change a little bit every year

but we are encouraging you to gather in some strategic locations in your town and in your

city and in your villages and here's how we propose for you to do that gather your people

public schools pray for elementary schools and high schools and walk around those properties

pray for school administrators pray for the principals and the teachers that

feel they have a duty to teach the the csc curriculum the comprehensive sexual education

to our children pray that their eyes would be open to the vileness of that curriculum and

and pray for the protection of our children pray around public libraries where there's so many

vile books available to our children. If there are pride roots in your town, in your city,

walk up and down those pride roots and pray against the vileness that defiles those streets

each and every summer. If there's media outlets in your city, pray around those places and pray

that some of those media people will be bold enough to start telling the truth. Pray around

a courthouse pray that justice would finally prevail go to town squares and parks and and

pray that there would be freedom to preach the gospel of jesus christ we have been encouraging

people to carry the christian flag it's a powerful symbol of who we are and what we are as believers

find that you will be walking in front of some churches some false religion churches as well as

some temples and these have been allowed into our country under the guise of immigration let me tell

you something those false religions have allowed false gods to come into our country as you walk

in front of those places? Pray against those false religions. Pray against those false gods.

In the name of Jesus Christ, reclaim that territory. If you're walking in front of some

churches that actually preach the gospel, pray a blessing on those churches. You know, Canada was

founded upon the principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law, and it's

time we take that stand and pray that God would just restore that to our land. It's best practice

to pray in small groups. When you come to some of those places I mentioned, stop and pray. Maybe

one or two people lead out in prayer. And some people may just feel more comfortable just to

pray quietly as you walk around. It does not need to be a big fanfare. God knows your heart. But the

important thing is to go ahead and take action and do something for those seven weeks. We are asking

Let me tell you a few things that have happened as a result of these prayer walks for revival.

In New Brunswick a few years ago, now Premier Higgs is no longer the premier there.

Now, Premier Higgs was actually in B.C. on some meetings and Tanya was there and she had two private meetings with him, each lasting about 10 minutes.

And one of the top things we were praying for is that God would speak to the hearts of the premiers,
