Action4Canada - Reclaiming Canada： 2026 Prayer Walk4Revival with Pastor Dan Vachon

00:00:00.000 One time we had a guy right on one of the main streets here pull a U-turn and we all kind of came to a stop thinking, whoa, what's going to happen here?

00:00:08.900 Drove right up on the sidewalk and he's like, hey, what's that flag? I've never seen that flag before.

00:00:13.980 And we said, oh, that's the Christian flag. And he was so happy that here we were walking in our town.

00:00:20.240 And here's another woman that pulled over and she stopped. She said, you know what? I just came from City Hall and they're having their City Hall meeting right now.

00:00:28.240 She said, I was so disgusted I had to leave.

00:00:30.600 And she says, I'm just here praying.

00:00:32.640 I'm new to this area.

00:00:34.060 And I run into you folks praying for this town, praying for the city, carrying the Christian flag.

00:00:39.720 She says, my hope is renewed.

00:00:42.240 We've made it a practice to go to flagpoles in our town because they are places of authority.

00:00:47.820 We were formed as a Christian nation.

00:00:49.580 And it's time to reclaim that.

00:00:52.580 It's time to go back to our roots.

00:00:55.120 It's time to say, Lord, we have sinned.

00:00:58.040 we have neglected you, we are suffering justly

00:01:01.860 for the sins of this nation,

00:01:03.600 but we humbly confess our sins and we turn back to you.

00:01:07.860 And so every day that I wake up is a blessing from God

00:01:11.600 and I've got a job to do, I've got a mission.

00:01:15.280 We can make a difference in our world

00:01:17.820 and don't you let the old devil

00:01:20.360 make you think you're not important.

00:01:22.660 And little old you have nothing to offer in this world. 0.99

00:01:26.860 And this world is going down the toilet

00:01:29.180 and there's nothing you can do.

00:01:30.220 That is a lie.

00:01:31.600 And so I want to encourage you,

00:01:33.260 take part in this year's Action for Canada's

00:01:36.360 prayer walk for revival.

00:01:38.220 The prayer of a righteous man avails much.

00:01:40.780 That means accomplishes incredible things.

00:01:56.860 Hello, Action for Canada friends. We're so glad you've joined us. A warm welcome to you.

00:02:27.520 out to millions of Canadians and uniting our voices in opposition to the destructive policies

00:02:32.900 tearing at the fabric of our nation. Through call to action campaigns, we educate, equip,

00:02:39.560 mobilize and empower citizens to take action. We are committed to protecting faith, family and

00:02:46.320 freedom. We're so excited to be promoting Action for Canada's fourth annual Prayer Walk for Revival

00:02:54.000 campaign. The theme of this year's Prayer Walk is Reclaiming Canada, and we're calling on pastors,

00:03:12.360 this upcoming event with your church, family, and friends, be sure to head over to the website

00:03:23.720 prayer walk for revival. If this is your first time joining us on the Empower Hour, it's my

00:03:30.800 pleasure to introduce Dan Vachon, the host of tonight's show. Dan is Action for Canada's

00:03:42.860 team leader for the Maritimes.

00:03:45.380 And for those of you who are eager for the upcoming gardening season, he's also known

00:03:50.480 as Prepper Dan, the gardening expert.

00:03:54.080 Tonight, Dan will be showcasing this year's Prayer Walk for Revival, sharing some success

00:03:58.880 stories from previous years, and highlighting the importance of prayer.

00:04:03.220 Will you all please help me welcome Pastor Dan Vachon.

00:04:07.100 Hello, Dan.

00:04:08.480 Hello, Heather.

00:04:09.380 Thank you so much for that wonderful introduction.

00:04:11.920 And thank you, fellow Canadians, for joining with me tonight.

00:04:15.340 Our boss, Tanya, is busy working on some much-needed projects that are urgent.

00:04:20.760 And so she sends her regards.

00:04:22.620 But I want to thank you all for being with us tonight.

00:04:25.080 So I trust spring is in the air with all of you fellow Canadians coast to coast.

00:04:30.380 I know that out in B.C. there's already been some crocuses blooming, and here on the East Coast we still have a foot or two of snow to get rid of, but it's coming.

00:04:41.480 So we thank the good Lord that spring is still in here.

00:04:44.120 I just want to spend a few moments this evening as we start addressing something that's probably in the minds of most of you, and that's the dreaded Bill C9.

00:04:53.320 As you probably heard, it has gone and pushed through the House of Commons and much to the chagrin of many Canadians.

00:05:04.060 But really, are we really that surprised at the speed of which this is going through?

00:05:08.540 So a couple of things that I want to say.

00:05:10.320 First of all, I want to really, really encourage you.

00:05:13.060 Now, listen carefully.

00:05:14.360 I want to encourage you not to be dismayed, not to be discouraged, not to be full of fear.

00:05:20.720 OK, so for those of you that are believers in the Lord, God is still on the throne and

00:05:26.300 there's nothing that takes God by surprise.

00:05:29.060 And the Lord Jesus, when he was walking this earth, did say in the last days there will

00:05:33.920 be persecution.

00:05:35.260 And I believe that we are in the last days.

00:05:37.800 Now, whether that means the Lord's coming back, you know, in a few weeks, in a few months

00:05:41.820 or a few years, we are in the last days.

00:05:45.020 And Canada has had it relatively easy in the last little while.

00:05:48.940 the last number of years. We live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

00:05:54.320 Unfortunately, we have had tyrannical leaders going on about 11 years now. And so we have to

00:06:00.820 push through. But I do want to really encourage you. It's not over yet. And so there are just

00:06:09.420 some things that I want to share with you. Just let me turn my volume down on this here.

00:06:14.140 some things that I want to just really encourage you. Tanya has been working around the clock and

00:06:23.180 feverishly addressing some of this. She has taken part in a Zoom meeting this past week with some

00:06:30.100 religious leaders and some political leaders across Canada. And it's sad to say, I did watch

00:06:38.560 some of the recording of that, it's sad to see how many people really are full of fear during

00:06:45.900 this time. But Action for Canada is not backing down and we're not losing hope. So Tanya is going

00:06:53.540 to continue working hard at this. We were just informed that this C9 has pushed through. I think

00:07:02.000 it may have gone through third reading and it will probably be in the Senate next week on the,

00:07:06.560 well, not next week because it's a holiday, but on the 23rd, and it may actually come into effect

00:07:12.300 on the 25th. There's still a lot of misconceptions about it, but I'm going to ask Anita to put a

00:07:19.620 couple of links in the chat for you to watch, for you to read, and for you to look. Friends,

00:07:25.260 if you don't already follow Tanya on her X account, please do so, and I want you to see

00:07:31.780 how Tanya has been addressing this and how she has been dialoguing with people that may have

00:07:39.340 some questions. And there is a big rally in Ottawa tomorrow that's hosted by ARPA. A lot of various

00:07:47.040 groups are going, being represented there. If you happen to go there, Action for Canada's own

00:07:53.740 editor, Anita DeVries, will be there. And I imagine she may be wearing some Action for Canada

00:08:00.280 gear on so you can look for her and say hello. But Tanya has been addressing this issue head on. 0.77

00:08:07.300 And we want you just to know that during the course of time with all of the discussions going

00:08:13.660 on, I want to encourage you kind of, you know, as Action for Canada's pastor, I want to remind you

00:08:19.660 that even though C9 is kind of a new thing addressing Canadians, this is not the first

00:08:26.540 thing historically that people god's people or even a country has been facing this something

00:08:32.620 like this i want you to bring you back into a story in the bible of uh three young men by the

00:08:39.620 name of shadrach meshach and abednego who were made to um bow down to a false god and they decided

00:08:48.980 not to and they faced the king head on and they had some pretty stern words to the king and i want

00:08:54.320 to read them to you. They're words of defiance. Now, if I could see all your faces tonight,

00:09:02.160 I know some of you would be shaking your heads. Do you remember the COVID era,

00:09:06.120 the COVID days? We learned a lot of things in those days. And some people would be saying,

00:09:12.340 never again. We learned things from them. We know it was a scam. We know that what the

00:09:18.220 government said was good for us, in fact, was not good for us. And so we're not going back to those

00:09:22.700 days. And so we're going to stand our ground. But I want to remind you of what three young men,

00:09:29.120 and they were young men, said in defiance to the king. So in the book of Daniel,

00:09:35.300 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego said to the king, who said, look, you got one last chance. Bow down

00:09:41.060 to this image that I've done, and your life will be spared. Here's what they said. Our God is able

00:09:47.740 to save us from your power oh king but even if he doesn't we want to make it clear to you

00:09:55.300 that we will never serve your gods or worship that gold statue them are fighting words

00:10:02.840 and and so the king got all heated up and says that's it in the fiery furnace you go and the

00:10:09.780 bible goes on that the fiery furnace was you know it was heated up seven times hotter than than

00:10:14.800 than usual and even the soldiers that were tasked to throw in the men the flames came out and and

00:10:22.280 they died and i was telling our prayer team on monday i wonder how those three young men even

00:10:27.120 went into the furnace if the guys that were to throw them in they died i wonder if they just

00:10:33.220 walked in i wonder if they got so close to the fire and said hey we're not feeling this heat

00:10:37.580 our god is going to be with us let's do it let's stand firm in our convictions i also want to

00:10:44.100 remind you in Matthew chapter 10 verse 28 Jesus said do not fear those who want to kill the body

00:10:51.300 they cannot touch your soul fear only God who can destroy both body and soul so if you're on the

00:10:59.220 show tonight or you're watching this later on and you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and

00:11:04.960 God is your firm foundation do not have any fear please do not have any fear over this I heard

00:11:12.640 from this national call that they had,

00:11:15.560 some pastors were saying,

00:11:16.680 oh, well, now we've got to kind of be careful

00:11:18.240 what we say, what we preach.

00:11:20.340 Absolutely not.

00:11:21.700 If it's in God's word,

00:11:22.960 and if it's the truth of God's word,

00:11:24.960 you better keep preaching the truth.

00:11:28.260 And some would say, well, what if we go to jail?

00:11:30.920 You know what?

00:11:32.000 What happened to Paul and Silas when they were in jail?

00:11:35.220 They held a worship service

00:11:36.860 and the foundations of the jail shook.

00:11:40.140 The prison doors were open

00:11:41.460 and the jailer and his whole family got saved.

00:11:46.200 Keep your eyes focused on the Lord.

00:11:49.160 We serve, we serve a great and mighty God.

00:11:54.180 So that's what I'm going to say in Bill C9.

00:11:56.420 It's not over yet.

00:11:58.100 There can be a miracle.

00:11:59.800 The Senate can wake up and say,

00:12:01.280 well, wait a second now.

00:12:02.800 We don't agree with this and it could die in the water

00:12:05.040 or it can't pass.

00:12:06.980 But we as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ

00:12:09.860 And as an organization, we've taken the stand that we're going to fight this tooth and nail to the end.

00:12:16.420 And we will not compromise our standards.

00:12:18.960 We will not compromise our message.

00:12:21.500 Come what may.

00:12:23.200 Jesus said, don't fear those that can harm the body, but only fear God.

00:12:29.220 And so that's what we're going to do.

00:12:30.880 OK, so that's my little spiel on C9.

00:12:34.040 And I want you to know that we will be fearless and we will keep fighting with you, with Canadians.

00:12:39.860 because we believe that that's the right thing to do okay so on with the topic of the evening

00:12:47.380 action for canada's fourth prayer walk for revival so some people if you are fairly new

00:12:52.580 to action for canada this may be the first time you hear about it you may be wondering what in

00:12:56.900 the world is a prayer walk for revival and uh why do you do it why is it so important so before i

00:13:03.380 get into it i i wanted to share something with you uh a number of years ago every year i used

00:13:09.540 to get some materials from george barna and if you know the name george barna was a um a christian

00:13:18.340 pollster so every year he would poll the church and he would poll the world and he would ask

00:13:23.940 them the same questions to kind of get the temperature of uh you know where the church

00:13:29.060 was going and what the church where the world was going and kind of like what the world thought of

00:13:33.700 the church and the church thought of the world well in his uh i think the last book that he

00:13:38.980 published before he sold his research company one of the questions was how much time do you pray

00:13:45.460 and and particularly to the evangelical church and he found that the average evangelical prayed

00:13:51.740 four minutes a week and so it's no wonder and this is years ago and it's no wonder that maybe

00:14:00.600 canada is kind of like in the pickle that it is when it came time to when he asked how much time

00:14:06.820 do you spend in the word of God, the numbers were so low that they couldn't even graph it.

00:14:15.020 And so if you wonder why Canada is in the mess that it is today, our values, our ethics,

00:14:20.300 and our morals have been thrown up the door. Our churches really are weak. And God's word really

00:14:28.300 has been compromised. And so all that to say that in the last number of years, when the current

00:14:35.900 government has come in, the liberal government has come in 11 years ago. Certain things have

00:14:41.100 been pushed through unchallenged. But if you've been around with Action for Canada for the last

00:14:46.440 number of years, we say we're the church without walls. We have been addressing some of these

00:14:50.580 issues head on from a biblical standpoint. And so when COVID came around, we hit these things head

00:14:57.620 on. We were helping churches stay open using the Constitution, using the criminal code. And so

00:15:05.820 we we were addressing this with pastors. And so Tanya and Ron were holding some some online

00:15:13.720 seminars and like three and four hundred pastors were starting to join these calls and getting

00:15:19.680 good information. And after about six, seven, eight weeks, those the number of people joining

00:15:24.640 those calls started to go down. And so Tanya had the idea of maybe starting some chapters across

00:15:31.120 Canada. And that's exactly what happened. And that's why we have chapters across Canada right

00:15:36.540 now. And what happened, though, is we didn't have the vetting process in place then that we have

00:15:43.420 today. And so we kind of mushroomed. We exploded. We had a lot of new chapters come and sprout

00:15:51.800 literally all over the country. But we had some chapter leaders that I would call them infiltrators

00:15:57.880 that had a different theology and doctrine and different motives, so to speak.

00:16:06.420 And so by in the fall and the early winter of 2022, we realized that our message was

00:16:14.840 being compromised.

00:16:16.300 And so we had to address it.

00:16:18.240 And so we had probably 30, maybe even 40 chapter leaders that were of the New Age persuasion,

00:16:24.580 and they were really pushing their new age message and so we had to you know we had to

00:16:33.200 come to a conclusion that we were going to have to leave cut some people off and and close a

00:16:39.260 number of chapters well that didn't go over so well and so we brought a gentleman into to speak

00:16:45.880 to our group by the name of alan strudwick and alan strudwick was an expert on new age because

00:16:51.300 he had been involved in the new age for a number of years he was like one of their top gurus and uh

00:16:57.380 and so it left kind of a big hole and it left a lot of hurt within some of our chapters and

00:17:04.440 come spring 2023 uh the lord laid it on my heart to uh have a time of prayer and fasting with our

00:17:12.040 people just to kind of a time of healing and a time to bring people back together and so we had

00:17:18.140 chosen a date in March 2023 to have this event. And unfortunately, the date got changed, and then

00:17:24.880 it got changed again. And so here we were in sometime in April. And so what we did is we

00:17:31.240 opened it up to all of you that were there around at the time. And something like 140 people signed

00:17:36.760 up to do a Zoom call once a day and to pray and to fast, all things action for Canada.

00:17:43.980 Well, it turns out that about 123 people, I think, joined that first few days.

00:17:48.760 And by the end of the week, it was down to, I think, maybe 120.

00:17:53.220 But what happened is a number of people said, hey, this is good.

00:17:57.720 We're being blessed to the Lord.

00:17:59.340 Things are happening in our family because we were praying for each other.

00:18:03.240 And so the consensus was we need to keep doing this.

00:18:06.360 So we added another week and then we added another week and then we added another week.

00:18:11.160 But before we had done this, the Lord kept putting on my heart, Jericho walk, Jericho walk, Jericho walk.

00:18:20.620 And if any of you grew up in churches as a child, you would have heard the story of Joshua and the walls of Jericho.

00:18:30.080 So let me pause for a second and take you there.

00:18:32.920 So when Moses led the Israelites out of captivity in Egypt, they had been captives and slaves there for 430 years.

00:18:41.160 God says, see, I lay before you the land, now go and conquer it.

00:18:45.360 The problem was, that land was home to the Hittites and the Canaanites and the Hivites and the parasites, 1.00

00:18:56.880 let's kind of call them, a whole group of people who were involved in idolatry,

00:19:02.400 and today we would call it witchcraft.

00:19:04.300 They were sacrificing their children to these demonic gods,

00:19:09.260 And it just wasn't a good scene at all.

00:19:13.360 And so what Moses did is he took 12 spies and he sent them out to to look out the land, to scour the land.

00:19:23.180 And so they came back and the report came back that the land, in fact, was a good land.

00:19:29.500 It was a productive land. It flowed with milk and honey.

00:19:33.300 But 10 of the spies says, but we can't go. We can't take it.

00:19:36.740 There's giants in the land.

00:19:38.040 They'll crush us.

00:19:39.340 We don't have fight and experience.

00:19:42.000 But there was two men, Joshua and Caleb.

00:19:45.060 And they said, we can do it.

00:19:47.120 We can take this land.

00:19:49.520 God is on our side.

00:19:51.300 Now, you see, Joshua and Caleb remembered the parting of the Red Sea.

00:19:54.660 They remembered the manna that God provided every day.

00:19:57.220 They remembered the quail that God was providing every day.

00:19:59.380 They said, we certainly can take it.

00:20:02.440 They knew who their God was, and they knew that God would help them.

00:20:06.380 But because the tent prevailed, as a matter of fact, they talked of stoning Moses,

00:20:10.920 and they said, let's appoint a new leader, and let's go back to Egypt.

00:20:15.960 God says, I'm going to punish you, and this entire generation will die in the desert. 1.00

00:20:22.000 So for 40 years, an eight-day march from Egypt to the Promised Land took them 40 years.

00:20:29.860 And so they wandered around, and that entire generation died in the desert. 0.65

00:20:34.480 fast forward 40 years moses dies joshua is put in charge and now god says to joshua

00:20:42.040 in the first chapter of joshua i think it's mentioned three or four or five times

00:20:46.540 do not fear do not be afraid and i want to pass that message along to you today you know we're

00:20:54.140 looking at c9 in the state of our country in the economy we just got word that our gas just went up

00:21:00.120 10.9 cents a liter just a couple days ago.

00:21:03.540 It went up four times last week.

00:21:05.240 It's going up another nine cents again tonight.

00:21:08.440 Folks, do not fear.

00:21:11.740 And so God said to Joshua, I want you to go in the first city you're going to come to is the city of Jericho.

00:21:18.260 And the city of Jericho had these big walls that were impenetrable.

00:21:24.140 And so the Lord says, for six days, walk around.

00:21:27.380 Don't say a word.

00:21:28.500 be silent be quiet but on the seventh day walk around six times and on the seventh day

00:21:35.200 shout a great shout for the lord has given you the city and so we call that a jericho walk

00:21:41.340 and so god of course gave them the victory what some people don't realize and understand is

00:21:46.980 jericho was the most fortified city in that day jericho was only 10 square acres and they had a

00:21:53.500 population of about 2,000 to 2,500 people. You can still go and see the actual site today where

00:22:00.120 those walls were. And historians, as well as archaeologists, all confirmed that the walls

00:22:08.580 actually fell into the city and not out. It's an incredible story. And so the Lord kept putting on

00:22:15.580 my heart Jericho walk as we were starting these primings. And so I said, let's have our chapters

00:22:21.140 go out into their cities and walk around their buildings and around places of authority and

00:22:27.960 let's do a Jericho walk. And so that's what began our first annual, we didn't know it was going to

00:22:36.620 be an annual thing, but our first annual prayer walk for revival. And so the nuts and bolts of it,

00:22:43.620 I did a video that is a generic video that we can show every year to teach churches and pastors on

00:22:49.980 how to do it. So I'm going to ask Terenzio to play this video. It's a little over six minutes long,

00:22:56.080 but it's going to give you the nuts and bolts on how to do it. And that video will be accessible

00:23:01.220 in the description of this video that you can show. And you can show it to your church, to your

00:23:07.400 chapters, to your friends, and you can organize your own march. So Terenzio, if you'll kindly

00:23:12.520 just play that video for us now. Hello, friends. I'd like to spend just a few moments talking to

00:23:18.220 you about Action for Canada's annual prayer walk for revival. We get two common questions that I'd

00:23:24.460 like to answer. The first one is, what is a prayer walk for revival? And the second one is, how can I

00:23:30.320 get involved? Well, to answer the first question, what is a prayer walk for revival? In the book of

00:23:36.620 Joshua chapter 6, we read about Israel's conquest of Canaan. The first city that they came to was

00:23:42.380 that great fortified city of Jericho.

00:23:45.120 And God gave the instructions to his people that for the first six days,

00:23:49.780 they were to walk around that city once a day.

00:23:53.460 And on the seventh day, they were to walk around that city seven times,

00:23:57.040 then blow the shofar and shout a great shout of victory, 0.99

00:24:01.260 for God had given them the victory.

00:24:03.600 As it turns out, those great fortified walls surrounding the city fell down.

00:24:08.600 The Israelites were able to go in and conquer the city. 0.81

00:24:10.780 And so, in essence, a prayer walk for revival is like a Jericho walk. 0.55

00:24:16.100 It is walking prayerfully and with purpose.

00:24:20.460 Now, how can you get involved?

00:24:23.000 Well, there's a number of ways that you can get involved.

00:24:25.300 If you don't already belong to an Action for Canada chapter, you can go on our website at actionforcanada.com slash chapters, and you can find the closest chapter near you.

00:24:36.800 Now, if there isn't a chapter near you, you can always start a prayer walk on your own as believers.

00:24:43.920 Or we are hoping that churches will take the initiative on themselves.

00:24:49.940 We are even encouraging pastors to call maybe other pastor friends and say, hey, we are going to be doing this prayer walk for seven weeks in our town.

00:24:59.340 Let's join up together.

00:25:00.420 and so pastors we are encouraging you to plan this seven-week prayer walk for revival

00:25:08.060 usually lasting from Passover to Pentecost and those dates change a little bit every year

00:25:13.880 but we are encouraging you to gather in some strategic locations in your town and in your

00:25:21.420 city and in your villages and here's how we propose for you to do that gather your people

00:25:27.640 to pray around municipal

00:25:29.600 buildings, government buildings,

00:25:31.880 places of authority.

00:25:33.680 Gather at the flagpoles of those places 0.93

00:25:35.800 because those are places of authority.

00:25:37.920 Those flagpoles. 0.77

00:25:39.980 Pray for your

00:25:41.340 mayors. Pray for your MPs.

00:25:44.060 Pray for your MLAs.

00:25:46.160 Pray that God will save their souls.

00:25:48.640 And if those are really

00:25:49.600 wicked people, pray that God will remove them

00:25:51.900 and replace them with godly 0.99

00:25:53.700 people.

00:25:55.640 Pray around schools.

00:25:57.640 public schools pray for elementary schools and high schools and walk around those properties

00:26:02.400 pray for school administrators pray for the principals and the teachers that

00:26:06.700 feel they have a duty to teach the the csc curriculum the comprehensive sexual education

00:26:12.760 to our children pray that their eyes would be open to the vileness of that curriculum and

00:26:20.100 and pray for the protection of our children pray around public libraries where there's so many

00:26:26.380 vile books available to our children. If there are pride roots in your town, in your city, 1.00

00:26:32.080 walk up and down those pride roots and pray against the vileness that defiles those streets 0.85

00:26:38.660 each and every summer. If there's media outlets in your city, pray around those places and pray

00:26:44.900 that some of those media people will be bold enough to start telling the truth. Pray around

00:26:51.040 a courthouse pray that justice would finally prevail go to town squares and parks and and

00:26:57.680 pray that there would be freedom to preach the gospel of jesus christ we have been encouraging

00:27:03.820 people to carry the christian flag it's a powerful symbol of who we are and what we are as believers

00:27:09.520 and we will have a link in on our action for canada prayer walk for revival page as to where

00:27:16.360 you can order the flag also as a description of what the flag stands for now as you walk you will

00:27:23.880 find that you will be walking in front of some churches some false religion churches as well as

00:27:29.320 some temples and these have been allowed into our country under the guise of immigration let me tell

00:27:35.260 you something those false religions have allowed false gods to come into our country as you walk 1.00

00:27:41.600 in front of those places? Pray against those false religions. Pray against those false gods. 0.99

00:27:47.040 In the name of Jesus Christ, reclaim that territory. If you're walking in front of some

00:27:53.240 churches that actually preach the gospel, pray a blessing on those churches. You know, Canada was

00:27:58.680 founded upon the principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law, and it's

00:28:04.320 time we take that stand and pray that God would just restore that to our land. It's best practice

00:28:11.260 to pray in small groups. When you come to some of those places I mentioned, stop and pray. Maybe

00:28:16.960 one or two people lead out in prayer. And some people may just feel more comfortable just to

00:28:22.020 pray quietly as you walk around. It does not need to be a big fanfare. God knows your heart. But the

00:28:27.540 important thing is to go ahead and take action and do something for those seven weeks. We are asking

00:28:34.880 that if you are going to participate as a church or as a small group, please connect with us so we

00:28:40.720 can network with you send us an email at pastors at action for canada.ca and we're also asking

00:28:48.500 people who participate be it our action for canada chapters or small groups or churches

00:28:54.820 to send us some photos of your prayer walks or some short videos every year we put together some

00:29:01.340 picture collages and some videos and we have two or three that we like to do every year just to

00:29:06.640 encourage everyone across Canada to see what God is doing through these prayer walks. And we have

00:29:11.900 incredible testimonies to share. So again, send us your photos, your short videos, your testimonies

00:29:17.980 at pastors at actionforcanada.ca. So I hope that answers your questions as to what a prayer walk

00:29:25.680 is and how to get involved. And we are so encouraged for everyone that gets involved.

00:29:32.060 So thank you for participating and God bless you.

00:29:36.160 God bless your Action for Canada chapter.

00:29:38.500 God bless your church and God bless Canada.

00:29:49.300 All right. Thanks, Terenzio. Fairly simple to do.

00:29:53.060 What we didn't realize at the time is because we had pushed the date a couple of times to start it.

00:29:59.440 And then we ended up doing it for the weeks that we had done it.

00:30:03.280 By the time we ended it, someone had mentioned,

00:30:07.040 do you realize that you started the prayer walk for revival on Passover

00:30:12.860 and you ended it on Pentecost?

00:30:16.120 We didn't realize and we didn't plan it that way.

00:30:19.500 And so for the following years,

00:30:21.220 it just felt right to start our seven-week prayer walk on Pentecost,

00:30:26.460 or sorry, on Passover, and then end it on Pentecost.

00:33:19.660 And so if you'll notice, the dates that we are starting, we are following the Jewish calendar as opposed to the traditional solar calendar.

00:33:29.900 And so that's why the dates are off just a little bit.

00:33:32.460 But here's what I want to share with you that's so exciting after that.

00:33:35.680 once we were done, we still had about 60 people that said, we want to continue this. Maybe not

00:33:43.720 every single day, but we had about 60 people that wanted to do some form of it. And so since then,

00:33:51.820 what we've done is we meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for about an hour and a half

00:33:57.300 at 7 a.m. on the West Coast, and it's 11 o'clock where I am. And we have a group of dedicated

00:34:05.240 prayer warriors on Wednesdays. Some of them pray and fast specifically for the Empower Hour.

00:34:12.500 And let me tell you, we pray all things Action for Canada. We pray for our chapter leaders. We

00:34:18.920 pray for our national team. We pray for each other as a group. I often refer to this prayer team as

00:34:27.380 the hub on a bicycle. And we pray for all of the spokes for Action for Canada, each spoke being a

00:34:34.300 person or an action that we have going out or something like that. And we especially covered

00:34:40.820 Tanya and some of her travels and some of her actions. And that has been going on for four

00:34:45.660 years now. And it is such a tight group. And I tell you, I lead the Monday meeting and it makes

00:34:52.580 my week, honest to goodness. Typically, I don't, I'm not a big fan of Mondays, but that is the

00:34:59.660 highlight of my day. And that's come out of it. And so I just want to thank the Lord for that.

00:35:04.300 Let me tell you a few things that have happened as a result of these prayer walks for revival.

00:35:10.080 You've heard Tanya share some of the things that have happened.

00:35:13.200 But on our prayer walk for revival page, there's a number of testimonies that have come out of there.

00:35:18.560 But you need to know a few good things that have happened.

00:35:21.160 In New Brunswick a few years ago, now Premier Higgs is no longer the premier there.

00:35:26.520 But he was the first one to actually protect the rights of the children in the school system.

00:35:35.880 Now, Premier Higgs was actually in B.C. on some meetings and Tanya was there and she had two private meetings with him, each lasting about 10 minutes.

00:35:46.400 And she specifically asked him, she said, Premier Higgs, when did you feel in your heart a change to protect the rights of the children?

00:35:55.580 And he thought for a moment and he said to her, it was in the month of April.

00:36:00.080 And then he gave her the date.

00:36:02.760 And it dawned on Tanya, that's exactly when we were praying during our prayer walks for revival.

00:36:08.920 And one of the top things we were praying for is that God would speak to the hearts of the premiers,

00:36:14.520 that they would have a heart to protect the parents or the children through the parent and the parents in our public school systems.

00:36:22.420 no word of a lie that was one of the things we prayed for and since then we have seen uh the

00:36:30.040 same thing happen in saskatchewan it's happened in uh in ontario under the former uh education

00:36:37.500 minister and it is happening now in alberta and we're working on all the other provinces

00:36:42.120 here in sydney in nova scotia where i am we had a local lgbtq resource office i mean this brick

00:36:50.940 building had all of the rainbow colors painted on the outside of their building and a couple years

00:36:55.820 ago we stopped in front of that building and we prayed we said lord shut it down this was at the

00:37:02.300 end of may well we come to find out that they were told uh be out by july but they were gone in june

00:37:11.020 another answer to prayer in kelowna during the 2023 walk for revival uh our team led by um

00:37:18.940 um uh lowry uh lowry has just passed away and gone home to be with the lord here in january

00:37:24.840 she and her team got out of their vehicles and they went around the education uh the department

00:37:30.680 of education seven times the security guard actually came out and asked him what they were

00:37:35.360 doing and the security guard's name was goshen and they said oh you got a bible name and he's like

00:37:41.480 yeah yeah i know like god's god's land and he they told him what he what they were doing and

00:37:47.780 says yeah no problem go ahead and pray and so what happened was they all packed up when they were

00:37:52.740 done they went home and shortly after there are some bricks that fell out of the building

00:37:58.980 outside kevin cardall's office and this kevin cardall was the one that was pushing the soji

00:38:04.660 curriculum in that school district well they got our team members got a phone call shortly after

00:38:11.700 and said you won't believe what just happened and some of our team members went back there

00:38:16.580 to see if it was if it was real well the scaffolding was up and they had tarps covering it

00:38:22.180 and they asked so what happened here they said oh uh yeah the wind came up and uh the bricks blew

00:38:28.100 off yeah right right and so i gotta tell you this is how the lord has been answering our prayers

00:38:35.540 in 2025 the alberta government agreed to remove pornographic books in public libraries and we are

00:38:41.780 working diligently with the government officials in Alberta to go even further than that.

00:38:48.300 And besides these other victories, many elected officials were educated and made aware of

00:38:54.520 the Soja curriculum, pornographic books in schools and libraries and flags, and so on

00:39:00.320 and so forth.

00:39:01.920 At the close, I'm going to share with you a scripture verse that talks about God's people.

00:39:07.260 When we humble ourselves and pray, then God does his thing.

00:39:11.780 And if ever there was a time for Canada to humble itself and pray, this is the time.

00:39:19.320 Now, our theme this year is reclaiming Canada.

00:39:22.620 Now, Tanya has spent the last number of weeks talking about the fact that Canada was formed as a Christian nation.

00:39:31.600 There are numerous, there are dozens of scriptures inscribed in Parliament, in glass and in stone.

00:39:38.980 Our forefathers, when they put together our constitution, they had God in mind.

00:39:46.580 And you have to understand, some may say, well, now we're a multicultural nation.

00:39:50.640 We're not a Christian nation. 1.00

00:39:52.160 We were formed as a Christian nation.

00:39:54.180 And it's time to reclaim that.

00:39:56.640 It's time to go back to our roots.

00:39:59.280 It's time to say, Lord, we have sinned.

00:40:02.340 We have neglected you.

00:40:04.200 We are suffering justly for the sins of this nation,

00:40:07.340 but we humbly confess our sins and we turn back to you.

00:40:12.060 This is the time.

00:40:14.860 And so this is what we're doing this year.

00:40:17.780 We're calling upon our members.

00:40:19.400 We're calling upon pastors.

00:40:21.420 We're calling upon churches to unite.

00:40:24.500 And out of the seven weeks, pick a time, pick a place to meet.

00:40:29.420 We're encouraging those that will walk to carry the Christian flag.

00:40:33.060 You know what? Something happened in two walks in a row here in Sydney.

00:40:39.620 We had people one time we had a guy right on one of the main streets here pull a U-turn and we all kind of came to a stop thinking, well, what's going to happen here?

00:40:49.480 And this person pulled a U-turn, drove right up on the sidewalk and came out kind of like we thought it's going to be a fistfight or what?

00:40:58.160 And he's like, hey, what's that flag? I've never seen that flag before.

00:41:01.300 And we said, Oh, that's the Christian flag. And he's like, Oh, what does it mean? And when you

00:41:06.900 order the Christian flag, you actually get a little printout of what is the Christian flag.

00:41:11.760 And we explained it to him. And he was so happy that here we were walking in our town. And here's

00:41:18.480 another woman that pulled over and she stopped. She said, You know what, I just came from City

00:41:23.200 Hall. And they're having their City Hall meeting right now. She said, I was so disgusted, I had

00:41:27.660 to leave and she says i'm just here praying i'm new to this area and i run into you folks praying

00:41:33.960 for this town praying for the city carrying the christian flag she says my hope is renewed that

00:41:40.180 god can do something in this town so we are doing what god has called us to do in obedience and you

00:41:47.900 can do in your town some of you may say well i live in a village or a little community i may be

00:41:53.540 the only one doing it then do it be obedient and god can use you even as an individual you know

00:42:01.400 the old commercial it was a hair shampoo commercial commercial or something and i told a friend and

00:42:07.140 they told a friend and so on and so on and so on and that's how it happens and that's how it's

00:42:12.360 happened that's how it's been happening year over year we're going to put this verse up again later

00:42:18.740 on, but in 2 Chronicles 7, 14, the Lord says, and if my people who are called by my name will

00:42:24.360 humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear

00:42:31.640 from heaven. I will forgive their sins and restore their land. We've made it a practice to go to

00:42:37.380 flagpoles in our town because they are places of authority. And we have prayed this verse. We have

00:42:43.860 quoted scripture and it's kind of like when we pray it's kind of like we plant a flagpole there

00:42:49.680 we say lord we may be leaving now but we ask your angelic beings to camp out here 1.00

00:42:56.260 and touch the people that go in and out of this building these elected officials

00:43:00.960 these school board officials and continue the work even though we're leaving and god has been doing

00:43:07.440 so every year we see more and more answers to our prayers and i want to challenge you this year

00:43:15.380 be a part of it if you've never done anything like that it's simple you all learned how to walk as

00:43:21.260 toddlers so you can walk and you can pray and i don't mean like boisterous on the on the city

00:43:27.700 streets to get everyone's attention you can walk silently because the first six days of the jericho

00:43:33.260 walk were done in silence but you gather in small groups and you could just pray so right now i want

00:43:42.380 you to see what it actually looks like when some of our people actually take a walk so terenzio

00:43:50.140 would you uh play the second video and have it encourage our people to see what an actual prayer

00:43:56.100 what looks like.

00:44:26.100 Thank you.

00:44:56.100 Thank you.

00:45:26.100 Thank you.

00:45:56.100 Thank you.

00:46:26.100 Action for Canada making their march on the Chilliwack School Board.

00:46:42.080 As the sun was shining on a Friday afternoon and most staff at the Chilliwack School Board

00:46:46.060 had gone home for the day, Action for Canada held a prayer walk outside of the building

00:46:50.620 on Airport Road.

00:46:51.940 The actual march to the school board office started at 3 in the afternoon at Chilliwack

00:46:55.760 City Hall and then made its way to the school headquarters.

00:46:59.260 This walk was for, and we quote, for the school board, its trustees, teachers, employees and

00:47:05.300 students where, quote, we prayed and marched around the building seven times.

00:47:35.300 all right so that was just one of the many video compilations that we have made and so we're going

00:47:55.280 to ask if you do participate in a walk this year send us your photos or your short videos to

00:48:01.240 pastors at actionforcanada.ca and we want to highlight you even if it's just you we want to

00:48:07.460 put your smiling face uh as part of our compilations okay so this year what are we

00:48:14.120 praying about so we're going to be praying for churches for the local church and pastors we're

00:48:19.560 going to pray for courage especially in this day and age we're going to say pastors have courage

00:48:25.640 boldness, to keep praying the word of God, for wisdom and discernment, for renewal and revival

00:48:32.220 in all of the local churches that preach the word of God. We're going to pray for a great

00:48:36.820 harvest of souls. You know, Jesus said 2000 years ago, the harvest is plentiful, but the workers

00:48:42.540 are few. It's still the same way. So we're going to pray for that, that many would come to the

00:48:47.920 Lord. We're going to pray for families, for strong traditional marriages to thrive. We're going to

00:48:53.920 pray for godly headship in the home, for struggling families. You know, they say that something like

00:48:59.540 25% of Canadian families have to visit the food bank now once a week. So we need to pray for

00:49:06.220 struggling families. We are going to pray for children in government-funded education.

00:49:13.060 Also pray for a homeschool revolution. And then we're going to pray for governments,

00:49:17.720 for national leaders to lead with righteousness and integrity. We're going to pray for a change

00:49:22.620 of heart for our government. Wouldn't it be something if God got a hold of all of our

00:49:26.980 government leaders and they all repented of their sin and got right with God? Next Monday may be a

00:49:35.080 whole new week in Canada. Wow. That's the kind of God I serve, right? You remember Nebuchadnezzar?

00:49:42.800 If you know the history of the Babylonians, but Nebuchadnezzar finally got his heart right with 0.90

00:49:47.420 God. I mean, it can happen. It's the same God that we serve. We're going to pray for them to have

00:49:53.360 changed their hearts from darkness to light. We're going to pray for justice in the courts.

00:49:59.040 Now, that's something we absolutely need. We're going to pray for local mayors, school board

00:50:03.700 trustees, MLAs, and MPs. And we're going to pray for protection over our sovereignty and our

00:50:09.520 borders. We're going to reclaim Canada for the glory of God. And so I pray and trust that you

00:50:18.900 will be encouraged by that. You know what? The Bible says you have not because you ask not.

00:50:24.260 And so we're going to ask God to really change this nation around. Folks, I don't know how much

00:50:29.440 time we have. I don't know how much time you have. And I don't mean just as a country.

00:50:34.760 Some of you know my story this past year.

00:50:38.020 I cheated death three times.

00:50:43.280 It's a long story.

00:50:45.320 At Christmas time, I shared a lot of my story.

00:50:48.660 But, you know, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and a few other things.

00:50:55.300 And I should not be here today.

00:50:58.320 And so every day that I wake up is a blessing from God.

00:51:01.920 and i've got a job to do i've got a mission i've got stuff to do and i don't waste a minute of my

00:51:08.460 day i really don't and sometimes i even think sleep is overrated and i have to eat now to keep

00:51:14.780 my sugars up because i don't have a pancreas anymore i'm now diabetic and sometimes i think

00:51:18.760 well i'm wasting time having to eat i got stuff to do but you know what we can make a difference

00:51:24.580 in our world and don't you let the old devil make you think you're not important and little old you

00:51:31.380 have nothing to offer in this world and this world is going down the toilet and there's nothing you

00:51:37.580 can do that is a lie and so i want to encourage you take part in this year's uh action for canada's

00:51:44.640 prayer walk for revival the prayer of a righteous man avails much that means accomplishes incredible

00:51:51.500 things and the human body can only do so much but prayer to god in the name of jesus christ

00:51:58.620 can literally change our nation.

00:52:00.640 Are you with me?

00:52:03.040 All right, so that kind of wraps up

00:52:05.000 what we're going to be talking about tonight.

00:52:08.180 Next week, there will be no Empower Hour.

00:52:11.900 So you get the night off,

00:52:13.540 but that doesn't mean you get the week off, okay?

00:52:16.960 Be in prayer for action for Canada.

00:52:19.640 And Tanya is working on some projects

00:52:22.660 that need her time, 0.92

00:52:24.240 and her time is very limited and precious.

00:52:27.680 So she's going to be busy working on that.

00:52:30.100 And then the following week, Tanya will be doing a presentation on C9.

00:52:34.200 We'll see kind of where it is from there.

00:52:36.640 Okay, a couple of scripture verses to send you off with.

00:52:40.560 I want to remind you, take this week and read Joshua chapter 5 and 6.

00:52:45.120 But Joshua 6, 6.

00:52:47.020 The seventh time around, when priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army, 0.79

00:52:53.380 shout for the Lord has given you the city.

00:52:57.680 God gives us the victory if we would only trust in him.

00:53:01.420 And the second scripture verse for this week,

00:53:03.920 again, we alluded to it earlier, 2 Chronicles 7, 14.

00:53:07.400 If my people, that's a big if.

00:53:10.460 Are you willing to do that this week, this prayer walk?

00:53:13.400 If my people who are called by my name

00:53:15.600 will humble themselves and pray and seek my face

00:53:20.500 and turn from their wicked ways,

00:53:22.920 then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin

00:53:26.940 and will heal their land.

00:53:29.680 So with that, let's plan together for a prayer walk for revival.

00:53:34.000 You've got a few weeks to get your stuff together,

00:53:36.840 order your flag, get your team together, plan your route,

00:53:40.300 go over our Action for Canada prayer walk page

00:53:43.560 and get some folks together

00:53:46.120 and see what God can do with you and through you.

00:53:50.160 Thank you so much for being with us.

00:53:52.740 God bless you and God bless Canada.

00:53:56.940 That's what I've got to say. Look at this crowd.

00:54:04.940 I'm going to thank God and God alone for the ground that I'm standing on.

00:54:15.940 I'm going to thank our founding fathers for giving their lives and sacrificing so much for our freedom.

00:54:26.940 And I'm calling on you today. Don't put them to shame. Don't waste what they did. We have guaranteed rights in this country.

00:54:38.940 we are putting chapters across the nation we are going to be in every town and every city

00:54:52.420 and we are going to build communities within these communities of like-minded people

00:54:57.700 who are actually going to care for one another again and love on each other and give each

00:55:02.620 other the help when they're down. We are going to use the teams and the people that build within

00:55:09.200 chapters to support our businesses. The government's actions are completely 100% unlawful. Judgment

00:55:19.720 will again be found on justice and those with virtuous hearts will pursue it. You have a

00:55:28.440 virtuous heart if you are here today pursuing freedom and righteousness and then verse 23

00:55:36.640 comes along with a promise God says he will turn the sins of evil people back on them

00:55:44.560 he will destroy them for their sins I take great comfort in that

00:55:52.720 because I serve a mighty living God who has allowed us to go through this season of discomfort

00:56:02.040 because we as a nation have turned our backs on Him and we need to get right.

00:56:08.960 So I am just going to thank you so much.

00:56:12.880 I'm going to say God bless you and God bless Canada.

00:56:22.720 Thank you.

00:56:52.720 Thank you.

00:57:22.720 Thank you.
