00:00:00.000 And so what you have is the Supreme Court of Canada's decision on the COVID measures,
00:00:05.240 the only one that is completely at odds with the orbiting conclusions of the lower courts
00:00:13.000 of taking judicial notice as the scientific facts,
00:00:17.240 of saying there's no charter violations by the COVID measures,
00:00:22.980 of saying that the court cannot look at scientific evidence
00:00:26.740 because it's not a laboratory or other such nonsense that the courts have decided.
00:00:35.160 And so what you have, essentially, is a very serious affront to the rule of law.
00:00:41.320 That's what you have.
00:00:42.580 I would say, I say a serious erosion, it's more of a severe mudslide.
00:00:48.700 it's it's it's it's it's near in my view my humble view we're at a point where the rule of law
00:00:56.340 uh is almost collapsed in canada and people will say oh you're exaggerating because it's only in
00:01:03.320 the context of covet well no it could collapse tomorrow on another political issue what i see
00:01:09.320 is a judiciary that's not applying the law is not listening to the arguments on the contrary
00:01:15.480 but is almost following a Salem witch hunt
00:01:19.040 of a frenzy, an emotional frenzy
00:01:23.480 you're either pro-vaxx
00:01:27.320 or you're an anti-vaxxer, well that's not analysis
00:01:30.340 that's incantation, that's medieval 0.98
00:01:34.220 you're a witch or you're a warlock 0.62
00:01:37.360 the earth is flat, it's not round 1.00
00:01:40.940 and if you say it's round, we're going to put you to death or blind you
00:01:44.500 Like they did Galileo, you know, so this is where we're at right now.
