In this episode, I sit down with Jay Hatfield, founder of Action for Canada, to discuss the LGBTQ+ agenda in our schools and the role of the church in fighting this agenda. Jay and I discuss how the church can speak out against this agenda and how they can help fight it.
00:00:12.980It made the top ten commandments to say, children, honor your father and your mother.
00:00:17.880And it's the only commandment with a promise that says, and it will go well with you.
00:00:22.140You know, so they're not only disrupting the relationship between parents and children, but they're robbing children of future blessings in honoring their parents.
00:00:34.420And it has been a very sinister agenda to break down the family unit and societal norms.
00:00:41.880And that's why we need, it's a 911 to get as many Canadians across Canada to sign up with Action for Canada.
00:00:48.460You are modeling what is to be done at the local level and how you can continue to press in and apply pressure to these school boards.
00:00:59.200Because these are no longer, they're not traditional school boards.
00:01:07.340And I truly, other than activism and the activist side of it, making sure that they have, you know, their tribe showing up to elect these individuals and outnumbering us.
00:01:19.300And that's why I'm saying the churches need to get involved in.
00:01:59.220Ron LeClaire ran as an NDP in a provincial election that I also ran in.
00:02:05.060And also Gail Hatfield, her husband, Percy Hatfield, also NDP.
00:02:10.820And when the first article came out about what was happening, we were telling them, they called us book activists, but we're not book activists.
00:02:18.840We just have a problem with books that are printographic for kids, whether it's written or if it's visual.
00:02:23.300And so, yeah, they have definitely a political, we'll say, line on what they are actually trying to achieve.
00:02:35.060What I would actually say, and I wanted to say this when I was going to speak on faith in GECDSP before I was denied, was one thing that we should say, too, and recognize is that their religion is humanism.
00:02:46.200They believe that they are the ones who get to define morality.
00:02:50.900And they don't want to acknowledge that, but they do want, and they did prior to, there's a One Million March for Kids that we did in 23.
00:02:57.000I know it wasn't very supportive, but I would just say that there was, I'll put it this way.
00:03:00.900There was a lot of support, we'll say, against what they were doing.
00:03:04.840But they're causing, they wanted kids prior to that show of support, a thousand, they wanted kids to basically bend the knee and bow the head to the pride flag.
00:03:17.640They told them that in the morning, this is what we're going to do, and you're going to do it.
00:03:21.160And you're going to respect what we say that you need to respect, but the kids are like, what are we doing?
00:03:26.520Right. So after, the four I'm getting at is that the board responded to the opposition, and they backed off in the following year.
00:03:33.620So you won't get the satisfaction of a, oh, we're so sorry, parents, we didn't realize that we were dishonoring you.
00:03:40.520They're not going to come out and do that, but they do respond to the pressure.
