00:01:14.180 to our request to get rid of uh soji 123 to remove it from the schools in bc and alberta
00:01:21.220 It's called SOGI-123, Win Sex Ed in Ontario, Beyond the Basics in another province.
00:01:26.800 And so what it is, is they've come up with Bill 25, which states they will remove political and ideological agendas from Alberta classrooms.
00:01:37.160 And then Bill 28 was a response to our action last year to remove the books from public libraries.
00:01:45.800 because a year ago, if you'll remember, the pornographic and sexually explicit books,
00:01:51.200 there was a policy that was passed to remove those from the schools,
00:01:54.420 but the public libraries within the public schools were exempt.
00:01:58.340 So we did a really, I would say, very effective call to action requesting that they close the loopholes.

00:04:06.280 I thought that was critically important with all of the work that Action for Canada is doing
00:04:10.980 in lobbying the government, in mobilizing the citizens, in helping to write policies

00:04:24.660 because he has taken a very courageous role in advocating for our children

00:04:44.800 I did not meet Minister Williams. He's in charge of the municipalities, and he was the one that was also willing to put for the policies to shut down and hear this loud and clear.
00:04:59.020 So we wanted to close the loopholes of public libraries functioning in public schools, but they took it a step further, and they're removing all of the sexual content and pornographic books from the access and eyesight of children in all public libraries province-wide.

00:05:22.380 We need your financial support. As I've mentioned, we don't get government subsidies. I wouldn't even want them at this point. I don't want to be connected to them. I think that this is a mission for Canadians and that we're working hard on your behalf. And so we pray and ask for your continued support.
00:05:41.260 And then finally, I want to just bring to your awareness that as we're moving towards June, this is the time to be busy reaching out to your municipalities, to your principals, to your school board trustees, and bringing awareness of who is behind the pride flag and the trans flag. 0.65
