00:00:00.000 When we talk about someone's character, mostly the first question that comes to mind
00:00:09.060 is, who is he?
00:00:11.620 So let me give it a try.
00:00:13.720 Who is Elon Musk?
00:00:16.280 A business magnate and investor.
00:00:19.080 He is the founder, CEO, and chief engineer of SpaceX, CEO and product architect of Tesla
00:00:25.880 Inc., owner and CEO of Twitter, blah blah blah.
00:00:30.640 What a beautiful resume.
00:00:33.120 Who was Jacques Cartier, a maritime explorer for France that traveled around the eastern
00:00:39.420 coast of Canada?
00:00:41.480 Who is Sidney Crosby, a Canadian professional ice hockey center and captain of the Pittsburgh
00:00:48.480 Penguins?
00:00:49.480 I know these famous people through reading books about them, their biographies, news
00:00:54.880 about them, or a search on Google.
00:00:59.600 Let's continue.
00:01:00.920 Who is Matthew?
00:01:02.600 I bet nobody knows him among us except me.
00:01:06.160 He is my younger brother who loves to torture me all the time.
00:01:11.280 I know him because I live with him.
00:01:14.360 If you ask me who is Chesney, who is Olaf, or who is Melle, then the only thing I know
00:01:19.940 about them is that they are my classmates from the speech program.
00:01:24.500 I don't have any other information.
00:01:28.000 So there are some tips to know someone as I mentioned above, through reading or living
00:01:33.520 together or building relationships.
00:01:38.820 Next question.
00:01:40.220 Who are you?
00:01:41.220 There is a unique answer from the apostle Paul, I am the chief of sinners.
00:01:47.100 Of course, I don't believe that any one of us would like to judge ourselves or be judged
00:01:53.340 in this way.
00:01:54.040 We love to have alternate words to describe ourselves – kindness, intelligent, courage, loving,
00:02:03.060 polite, generous, faithful, thrifty, strong, rich, compassionate, responsible, humility,
00:02:14.600 and so on.
00:02:16.060 Unfortunately, we are sinners from birth, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory
00:02:21.280 of God.
00:02:23.940 How sad to hear about that.
00:02:26.200 So I tried those tips to find the solution.
00:02:30.380 Through reading the Bible, I learned that before God formed me in the womb, He made me.
00:02:36.120 Even the very hairs of my head are all numbered.
00:02:39.980 So anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is not condemned.
00:02:43.880 And most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a
00:02:50.600 multitude of sins.
00:02:51.980 There is no fear in love, because God is love.
00:02:58.140 Through living with the Holy Spirit, I received the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit to shape my
00:03:03.540 inner life, love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
00:03:14.640 Reading the Word of God and living in the presence of God gave me the great answer to the question,
00:03:20.200 Who am I from a song?
00:03:23.860 From my mother's womb, you have chosen me, love has called my name, I've been born again,
00:03:36.860 Do your family, your blood flows through my veins, I'm no longer a slave to fear, I am a
00:03:54.960 child of God, you're no longer a slave to fear, you are a child of God.
00:04:06.860 Hallelujah!
00:04:07.860 In 1 Peter 2, verse 9, we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special
00:04:20.980 people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of the darkness into
00:04:26.000 His marvelous light.
00:04:28.080 I want to ask a final question.
00:04:30.680 Who are we?
00:04:32.680 Yes, we're the children of God filled with love who are chosen by Him.
00:04:37.600 May God bless you.
