00:00:00.000 Who gave the guys like us the blueprint to play like this today?
00:00:04.000 Jordan and Kobe. I think Jordan and Kobe.
00:00:05.960 Stay woke. Jordan.
00:00:07.540 Yeah.
00:00:07.860 Jordan's era was all the people who... 0.87
00:00:09.780 All right, I gotta have this talk with you, bro.
00:00:16.460 Talk to me. Talk to me.
00:00:17.600 LeBron or Jordan?
00:00:21.100 Or no comment.
00:00:21.980 You know what's crazy?
00:00:23.440 I want to say this.
00:00:25.180 I saw something about this today, and it was a very cool point.
00:00:28.700 But it's a different point.
00:00:30.640 I'm trying to see everyone's point about it.
00:00:33.740 Yeah.
00:00:36.340 They said that LeBron's the most talented and gifted player we've ever seen.
00:00:40.120 He's the best player of all time.
00:00:42.240 The best player of all time, but the greatest player of all time is Michael Jordan
00:00:46.420 because of the way he changed the game, and his clutch factor was unbelievable.
00:00:52.940 So I don't know.
00:00:54.260 You know what's funny?
00:00:54.920 I had this conversation before.
00:00:56.200 I don't really know.
00:00:57.080 I mean, it's hard to disrespect the man.
00:00:59.860 What?
00:01:00.120 He made, what, seven to nine finals in a row?
00:01:03.420 Yeah.
00:01:05.300 Come on, bro.
00:01:06.440 Sorry.
00:01:07.560 You're good.
00:01:08.120 Well, come on, bro.
00:01:09.620 You can't...
00:01:10.600 You can't...
00:01:11.840 You can't...
00:01:12.440 You can't...
00:01:12.980 Can I be honest?
00:01:13.720 From somebody that's not in the league, I'm going to tell you why I think LeBron's better.
00:01:16.940 Just real quick.
00:01:17.880 So I think LeBron's better because he played against...
00:01:20.280 Like, the game is harder now.
00:01:21.900 I get the game was more physical back then, but it's harder now.
00:01:24.780 Would you agree?
00:01:25.120 Like, everyone's shooting threes. 1.00
00:01:26.120 Bro, you're a fucking big and you're shooting threes. 0.99
00:01:27.820 I want to answer that question with one... 1.00
00:01:30.160 A question, if you don't mind.
00:01:31.520 Yeah.
00:01:33.340 Who gave the guys like us the blueprint to play like this today?
00:01:38.500 Jordan and Kobe.
00:01:39.320 I think Jordan and Kobe.
00:01:40.540 Stay woke.
00:01:41.240 Jordan.
00:01:42.140 Yeah.
00:01:42.440 Jordan's era was all the people who taught all of us how to play like this.
00:01:45.440 That's true.
00:01:45.780 You guys all watched Jordan.
00:01:46.940 There's generational talents.
00:01:48.220 There's generational talents.
00:01:49.400 You know, there's people who do stuff that's never been done.
00:01:51.740 You know, we got Steph Curry's out there.
00:01:54.120 Chuck it for 50 feet.
00:01:55.400 Yeah.
00:01:55.880 Yeah.
00:01:56.360 You know, like, Steph Curry's...
00:01:58.600 You know, me, Biggs, are shooting.
00:02:00.440 You know what I'm trying to say?
00:02:01.220 Like, I feel like...
00:02:03.080 You know, someone had to set the blueprint for all of us.
00:02:05.840 You know what I'm trying to say?
00:02:06.960 I don't think for me, if I would have been looking at the game the way I look at it,
00:02:13.220 if it wasn't for people like Dirk Nowitzki.
00:02:16.040 And I just said, I think I'm the best shooting big man of all time.
00:02:19.500 That's no disrespect to Dirk, because Dirk was the one who gave me the idea that big man
00:02:23.480 could do it like that.
00:02:25.300 You know what I'm trying to say?
00:02:26.360 So, I just feel like, you know, in that conversation, when you talk about, oh, LeBron playing
00:02:33.180 against better competition.
00:02:34.020 But there's has to be...
00:02:35.220 There was a blueprint set for the people today.
00:02:37.960 You know what I'm trying to say?
00:02:38.940 And these dudes came in Jordan's era.
00:02:40.920 You know, the Isaiah Thomases, the Clyde Drexlers, the Hakeem Olajuwans, the...
00:02:44.340 Of course.
00:02:44.880 You know, you know...
00:02:45.700 They all had their own way of, like, making and making the blueprint, like you just said.
00:02:49.900 I like that.
00:02:50.180 Yeah.
00:02:50.520 Even, like, even for people like Taco Fall.
00:02:53.500 You know, I mean, we know how effective those guys, Boban and Taco Fall.
00:02:57.620 But, in a way, who really set the standard for tall people to come in here, and they really
00:03:01.580 could be All-Stars, and they really could be Hall of Famers.
00:03:05.100 You know, we want to go back.
00:03:06.440 We could talk about Hakeem.
00:03:07.620 We could talk about Ralph Sampson.
00:03:08.860 We could talk about those.
00:03:09.680 But, you know, Yao Ming came in, too.
00:03:11.600 Changed the whole game.
00:03:12.420 Of course he did.
00:03:13.040 Yep.
00:03:13.940 You know what I'm trying to say?
00:03:14.840 So, I don't know.
00:03:17.440 I just think that it's a hard conversation.
00:03:20.280 I think we can't...
00:03:23.280 I'm not even trying to dodge the question, but I always look at everything at a full spectrum.
00:03:28.280 And we can't...
00:03:28.880 You're trying to judge Michael and LeBron, and LeBron's still going, bro.
00:03:32.560 He just had 39.97 last night.
00:03:35.000 Come on.
00:03:35.580 It's crazy.
00:03:36.140 It's crazy, bro.
00:03:36.900 Come on.
00:03:37.580 It was insane.
00:03:38.680 And, again, I like that.
00:03:40.680 I think you answered that the best way possible.
00:03:42.180 I mean, look, like you said, you're 26.
00:03:43.940 You grew up on Mike, right?
00:03:45.660 So, it's like, I grew up on LeBron.
00:03:48.380 I'm 21.
00:03:49.620 So, you know, it definitely is tough.
00:03:54.580 But, no, I will agree, bro.
00:03:55.800 The game is just going to keep changing, bro.
00:03:58.400 Bro, I don't know how the game is going to be in 10 years from now, bro.
00:04:02.700 Like, think about the change of the 2000s to now, like, the 20s.
00:04:11.560 Like, we're talking about games that are complete.
00:04:12.980 Just alone, like, that, like, 07, 09, 07 to 09 period to, like, the 16 period.
00:04:20.140 That's seven years, and the game completely flipped on his head.
00:04:22.900 You know what I don't get, bro?
00:04:23.840 Why do people say LeBron built the first dream team, is that what they call it?
00:04:28.860 Or super team when the Celtics did it first?
00:04:33.640 Back in the day.
00:04:34.660 Back in the day.
00:04:35.220 Like, back, back in the day.
00:04:36.720 Larry Bird, Parrish.
00:04:39.200 No, I meant, like, the Garnett, the Pierce, the Rams.
00:04:42.020 Yeah, but even that, but even that, let's talk about all these great teams from before.
00:04:45.600 We had, we had, what, Magic, Magic, Kareem.
00:04:52.520 That's crazy.
00:04:52.920 They had, they had everybody.
00:04:54.800 They had everybody you can name.
00:04:56.340 That's like, legends.
00:04:58.020 Celtics back in the East, they had everybody. 0.97
00:05:00.260 I mean, even, you talk about Philly.
00:05:04.880 They had Moses Malone, Daryl Thompson.
00:05:06.880 Like, come on, bro.
00:05:07.760 Those teams was crazy.
00:05:09.520 They've been, they've literally been.
00:05:11.540 I feel like that's been like that.
00:05:13.320 I feel like that's always, I think it was just different because.
00:05:17.580 I don't feel like it's, I think it's just because it's like, we got social media.
00:05:20.800 So they, like, made it like a talking topic.
00:05:23.380 You know what I'm trying to say?
00:05:23.900 Because back in the day, they wasn't talking like that.
00:05:26.020 They was just like, yo, they made, they made the right moves to get the players they needed to get. 0.99
00:05:29.740 Damn. 0.99
00:05:30.300 No, you're right, bro. 0.99
00:05:31.080 I think social media itself is just changing the game.
00:05:33.220 Bro, look at this team, bro.
00:05:34.860 They had what?
00:05:35.840 They had Wilt.
00:05:37.960 What is it?
00:05:38.640 Wilt, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor.
00:05:40.480 Come on, bro.
00:05:41.520 How you beating that team?
00:05:43.560 It's crazy.
00:05:44.680 You got Wilt, Elgin Baylor.
00:05:45.940 Come on, bro.
00:05:47.420 You got, literally, you got, man, Mr. NBA.
00:05:50.660 You got Mr. NBA with Elgin Baylor and Wilt.
00:05:53.480 Come on, bro.
00:05:54.380 That's going to be a hard team to beat.
00:05:57.480 Kat, I have a question.
00:05:58.480 I'm seeing a lot of it.
00:06:00.400 You know, Kobe.
00:06:03.140 Did you ever get a chance to, like, chop it up with Kobe at all?
00:06:06.280 Yeah, that was, that was, that was for sure.
00:06:10.900 That was the homie. 1.00
00:06:12.000 That was the big homie. 1.00
00:06:13.760 For sure, I talked to him a lot, actually.
00:06:15.240 We were connected through a mutual, a mutual person and security.
00:06:21.320 And it was just, it was, it was crazy.
00:06:24.720 It was crazy.
00:06:25.680 I remember the only, I got one, I got one story I'll tell about Kobe.
00:06:29.760 I remember playing Kobe and we won the first game.
00:06:32.980 It was, of course, my rookie year.
00:06:35.200 First game and then first game real NBA game is against Kobe Bryant on the
00:06:39.200 farewell tour.
00:06:41.620 Oh, boy.
00:06:42.720 It was the first, and it's at Staples Center.
00:06:44.800 First game of the season.
00:06:45.820 Oh, nah.
00:06:47.260 And we went to overtime and won. 1.00
00:06:49.520 Oh, shit. 0.99
00:06:50.720 And then we went to, and then we went to, we came here to Minnesota and we 1.00
00:06:55.660 played again.
00:06:56.400 And I was like, bro, listen, bro, I'm going to have to get another win,
00:06:59.080 brother.
00:06:59.960 I'm going to have to get another win.
00:07:01.020 And we won and he, he signed his, he took the shoes off his feet and he
00:07:07.320 signed it for me and he gave it to me, wrote me a message.
00:07:09.780 He said, you know, you're going to be great, big dog.
00:07:12.800 Like for real, like hold it down.
00:07:15.160 And we talked ever since then and we've always talked and then it was just,
00:07:19.280 you know, it was a crazy day.
00:07:20.800 It was a crazy day because we were mutual.
00:07:22.480 Remember our mutual friend is his security, had a security.
00:07:24.620 He's been with him through all the rings, every ring he was with him.
00:07:27.560 And I, I'm, he's my security person too, but he's more like a mentor to me.
00:07:32.460 And, um, uh, it just, I, I was, I mean, I was, it was tragic.
00:07:38.880 Cause I remember we were doing a call of duty tournament here.
00:07:42.320 It was a professional league here in Minnesota at the armory.
00:07:46.080 And it was me, Andrew Wiggins and Michael B.
00:07:48.980 Jordan.
00:07:49.800 And we were doing media cause we were about to go and play the game.
00:07:54.500 And, um.
00:07:55.660 Which call of duty was it?
00:07:56.420 Do you know?
00:07:57.560 Um, black ops. 1.00
00:08:01.000 The last one was trash. 1.00
00:08:04.700 I don't remember. 0.97
00:08:05.840 I just know I was good.
00:08:06.900 I was balling in that game.
00:08:07.960 And, and I, uh, the news dropped while we were doing media before playing.
00:08:14.260 And we all was hurt.
00:08:16.120 I remember Michael B.
00:08:16.960 Jordan was crying and, and everything.
00:08:19.100 And it just, it hurt us all.
00:08:21.940 It hurt us all a lot.
00:08:23.220 And, um, I would just, I remember my first thought was like, my first thought was, please don't
00:08:31.500 let his daughter be in there. 0.99
00:08:33.420 Damn, bro. 1.00
00:08:34.140 My second thought was, I hope my mentor, his boy wasn't in the plane, the helicopter with 1.00
00:08:41.920 him.
00:08:42.200 Right.
00:08:42.420 But, uh, I was hurt, bro.
00:08:45.600 I, I ain't moved that whole day.
00:08:47.000 I just remember coming here into the house and just, uh, mostly looking at the wall, just
00:08:53.100 kind of really, you know?
00:08:54.020 And it's like, it was like, for us, it was like our MJ dying.
00:08:59.020 Right.
