00:03:16.740 he was working at a blockbuster you know because remember he's he is a ceo of netflix now but he

00:03:22.600 started doing these uh videos and renting them and then he'd come to comedy clubs and it was so

00:03:26.860 funny because i was there i didn't know him then but then i met him a few times along the way doing

00:03:31.880 stand-up with the exact same age and then when he got he came into netflix and then when he was the

00:03:38.680 boss he called me and said hey you know let's do something together and known each other a while

00:03:43.040 and then i've known other those two other guys for a long time so and then adam has a deal with

00:03:47.540 them and so we all sometimes go out so that was a picture there's my daughter jumping out of bed

00:04:40.500 you don't know i no no i i you gotta remind me we were i was a fly yeah i was a horse fly

00:04:47.720 it's a good movie i was a voice one no don't apologize sweat i'll handle this um it was me and

00:04:55.780 steve harvey for horse flies buzz and skies yeah that's a deep dive dude so we did that um the

00:05:03.000 other animated one was hotel transylvania and then of course emperor's new groove that's where i play

00:05:07.980 llama and that's the anniversary of it now i'm not gonna say what anniversary but it's old and i was

00:05:14.120 a llama that no i was a prince that turned into a llama but a lot of people your age know it because

00:05:20.180 they were little you know it's like i didn't know you were that i didn't know you were in emperor's

00:05:24.120 group you know what that movie is yeah i know what that is yeah it's actually pretty funny i i would

00:05:28.060 say it's the only movie i got that got good reviews because it was well done in the animation 0.72

00:05:32.940 you know i didn't i just did jokes and stupid shit that when they put it together i watched it was 0.99

00:05:37.940 like oh shit this is funny it took three years it's very hard that's crazy and you're doing it out of 0.99

00:05:42.440 sequence and i don't even really know the whole movie because they're like what happened right now 0.89

00:05:45.660 what happened we're trying to do a joe dirt animator right now and we're going out with it in a

00:05:50.140 month and we've been working on that for two years just trying to put it together and get it all set

00:05:54.860 and get the animation and then we go out and pitch it then you just don't know but it could be funny

00:05:59.960 all right i'll walk you guys around i know you're in a hurry you gotta do some gooners dude this is

00:06:04.440 cool this is uh i just learned the word gooner now i say it all it's so are you a gooner it's so 0.96

00:06:11.440 hilarious to me do you goon does that mean watch porn yeah yeah basically it's okay if you do i have 0.96

00:06:17.540 seen it yeah i know what it is yeah that's heather oh hi heather nice to be treated pleasure 0.98

00:06:24.240 he's the top gooner yeah does he look like a gooner a little bit

00:06:31.920 so this is i think a fake plant this is uh this looks nice this looks nicer than i kind of live but

00:06:45.560 it was bigger than i thought and so i had to keep putting stuff in it uh this is this is beautiful

00:06:51.700 wait how uh did you buy the home like this you built it you know when i sanded this and i took

00:06:57.620 it on the bus up no i uh i bought it as is i have no skills in life other than mumbling jokes so i just

00:07:06.860 uh bought this i i wanted i thought it was pretty cool it was new but it was kind of big so we put we put

00:07:13.420 a podcast downstairs because i have too much too many rooms and then upstairs uh there's my room and 0.82

00:07:19.860 a couple bedrooms but not a lot up there doosh doosh stay on me all right this is uh damn that's 0.91

00:07:27.660 the stall that that's the fucking theme of the whole thing this is stuff um where i put up stuff 0.96

00:07:34.020 there's actually someone there's too many pictures of me and that's not on purpose really it was just 0.86

00:07:38.600 it was like there's when i did old snl right so that's i use when you're a new writer you don't

00:07:45.420 uh is anyone talking um uh yeah you want to talk i was gonna ask you want to talk to my chat yeah

00:07:50.040 people well wait you connect to the is there let me get the wi-fi yeah people are yeah heather will

00:07:55.000 you tell them the wi-fi uh just you put here oh is yours working yeah his does so look they're

00:08:01.520 laughing right now um ask them a question any question that comes to your mind i asked them i thought 0.94

00:08:06.120 they asked me it could be both so let's just try to flip it on them here's one what are you gooners

00:08:09.940 up to in the middle of the day okay let's see so what are you gooners up to what city we're up in

00:08:15.580 oh what city you guys in uh mr gooner you're uh does anyone see this yours broke too yes we just

00:08:21.540 need the wi-fi oh we got it okay perfect will you tell them the wi-fi there we go all right they're

00:08:25.460 laughing stroking to you um um texas detroit here you can do that how fast they come in holy 0.61

00:08:32.160 shit yeah yeah who are someone that was a little rude um they come too fast i can't read this come 0.98

00:08:40.000 too fast speaking of gooners uh all right utah 1.00

00:08:43.540 la compton thailand this shit goes wide like that dude why who knows who you are 1.00

00:08:51.620 all right um look at we're gonna then we're gonna get back to the gooners that are on there 0.99

00:08:56.800 all right this is um when you're the first year snl writer i have a turtleneck on trying to look

00:09:02.300 like i know what i'm doing how old are you right here that's 25 26 and uh they assign you to write

00:09:07.980 the promos for snl like hi i'm uh mick jagger was the was the music and luke perry was the host so

00:09:15.120 phil hartman played bill clinton there's lorne michaels if you've heard his name over the years

00:09:19.540 uh and i'm in i get i'm this fucking pipsqueak i get to tell mick jagger how to read his lines 0.98

00:09:25.620 because i wrote him so i'm like what you want to do here is don't lean into it it's gonna pull 0.75

00:09:29.500 back and then uh this is uh an old joe dirt poster that we didn't use but i thought was kind of cool

00:09:36.160 because i said make it sort of like evo knievel i like that every reference i say you won't know

00:09:40.760 but evo knievel was an old stunt uh motorcycle up for a golden globe for you show that black yeah 0.99

00:09:47.500 you gotta flex the flags yeah i like this this guy's not panning you gotta panda shit 0.97

00:09:52.180 um you heard needles i know he's getting mad at me i'm kidding i'm kidding uh i did coneheads an 0.93

00:09:59.020 old movie snl i love that snl reunion you and chris right here's awesome farley from time with

00:10:05.200 uh here and there's a kuzco thing they gave me i'm literally not allowed to sell it here come

00:10:10.320 this way don't wipe out that what's your first name needles needles i don't know if i love it

00:10:17.660 like like i put the old nominations never won here's what happened i was there yeah i'm gonna

00:10:25.180 act this out so okay needles stay close so here i am in the audience and they go the going globe goes

00:10:32.180 to david hyde piers me like i i gave a move because the first name was david and i fucking thought i 0.97

00:10:39.460 won i was about to spring up and go deesh but it was a different david so i went right back down i go

00:10:44.400 i wasn't happy for him which david was it david hyde pierce he was on a show called frazier but

00:10:49.120 he was better uh up there oh here's a good one this is robin williams uh at a club when i did

00:10:57.300 stand up and he came in with bob goldwick and then there's an old gq thing me and adam did at first

00:11:03.660 year how old are you guys in this picture we're probably 27 it's probably like three years in

00:11:07.420 oh my god you know you guys have known each other for such a long time yeah we never knew each other

00:11:10.900 before snl wow i gave al pacino joke at the um oscars backstage and he wrote me a letter after

00:11:17.280 that's awesome nice and then this is uh steve martin came on snl once and did a bit with me

00:11:25.000 and uh i know everyone's old that we talk about it's fine this is just the old cast which had a

00:11:30.780 really good cast that's why it was hard to do good on it because everyone was so david what do you think

00:11:35.120 about the modern day movies like you know compared to i don't want to compare but what do you just

00:11:40.240 think about how movies are now i think say uh i think people really like comedies and that's what

00:11:44.460 they can uh write in if they want what comedies they liked because we uh you know we used to do

00:11:50.780 more i think about 10 15 years ago and r-rated ones like anchorman or stepbrothers you know ones

00:11:56.660 all sandler's movies and stuff and they just don't make as many and there's no i think there's a demand

00:12:01.880 uh oh me and theo uh made one called busboys we just finished it's a r-rated you know and

00:12:09.440 and we didn't sell it we just made it for our own money and then we're going to try to sell it

00:12:14.760 sooner just put it up on his website but that's the kind that i think they should do more because

00:12:19.800 there's so many people that want them so why is there no more hangover stepbrothers i know those

00:12:24.120 are the fun grown-ups those are the ones that people like yeah i think uh not saying the ones i'm in but

00:12:29.060 you know just like good old school sort of non-pc raunchier movies and i don't know why they don't

00:12:36.960 make them as much there's not as many in the theaters but there's some on netflix but you

00:12:40.880 realize not but when was the last really good comedy maybe 20 years we just talked about that

00:12:45.520 it's hard let me ask my chat when was the last comedy oh good question when was the last comedy

00:12:50.300 you guys uh they're all saying facts and yes and you're right and all that stuff he goes facts that

00:12:56.380 means you're right it gives me the lingo i have to i know super bad yeah like super i was good yeah

00:13:02.200 everyone's saying the world the world got soft um happy gilmore 2 was really good happy gilmore 2

00:13:07.680 okay i didn't like it the first watch but when i watched it back i understood i liked it that's

00:13:11.220 good you saw it twice yeah here's nothing oh there's an old adam's doing his old uh comedy albums

00:13:16.600 and he sent me that that's like it's so cool you guys were kids and you guys are growing together

00:13:21.040 is that crazy that's awesome that's gonna be like oh sweater you wouldn't know this this is

00:13:25.620 don't tell me don't tell me john lennon that is good yeah come on i know my stuff i bought his

00:13:31.240 old glasses wait what those are his glasses glasses from that book that's in the other room wait how

00:13:37.920 much were those glasses i'm just curious they were a lot i would say i'll tell you i'll tell you after

00:13:42.060 okay i'm from the world where you don't brag about money and that now no one can shut up about it

00:13:47.460 everyone is ripped all year old i know david i know i mean everyone is just like look at all 0.97

00:13:52.260 this shit i got dude your house is so cool there's nothing look at look at david and kim right there 0.99

00:13:56.880 that's awesome when you do that they send you one oh that's cool uh this is just kitchen oh you're 0.99

00:14:02.540 watching some football watching football about to put in my shitty bets that i lose oh who do you who 0.56

00:14:07.160 you betting on great lately who you've been betting i do uh patrick mahomes been losing me a lot of

00:14:10.980 money yeah i know and i know i i always think this is the week chiefs are gonna pull back and they're just

00:14:16.560 towards acl horrible i did hear that and kelsey's done all right but i have him too and i'm like

00:14:22.620 god damn so i'm more fantasy football okay who's who's like your favorite players are like i mean i 0.58

00:14:27.680 like my homes i always bet on him i always the chiefs i like josh allen he's he's really reliable 0.97

00:14:33.820 yeah he is but god when they bomb it's just so hard to win on those sites this this year's been

00:14:38.420 hard man it's been hard i write jokes here you write your jokes watch uh oh my goodness yeah all those

00:14:43.840 scraps are like when i take a set list i did a comedy store last night it was actually a good

00:14:48.180 lineup bobby lee andrew santino bill burr we all went on in a row so if you're just going there for

00:14:54.300 like 20 bucks that's crazy you get that all-star lineup it's good everyone does about 15 20 minutes 0.98

00:14:59.180 it's you know it's not rated you can say anything you want no one gives a shit comedy clubs are sort 0.88

00:15:04.120 of the old the last place you can get away with more that's why i feel like streaming would be really 0.98

00:15:09.300 well for you like live streaming because you could say and do whatever you want you can crack a crazy

00:15:13.280 joke whatever you want and they love it it's like freedom of like this is already a mistake but

00:15:18.240 um i'll look back and learn no i'm kidding there's that's actually a pretty good one that

00:15:23.400 oh i'll show you this over here do you want to take our shoes off no no i don't care uh this one

00:15:28.940 is my first big opening gig talk about old you won't know that's ray charles so i would not

00:15:33.520 guess that he was a um african-american black guy from the old uh days i was really famous

00:15:38.880 and um this what is that oh that's new chapelle comedian party what you guys have little comedian

00:15:47.540 parties yeah can i come i'm not funny never mind no you can maybe wait really outside oh yeah that

00:15:54.080 was um god you can name every tiffany haddish arsenio hall kimball jimmy kimball john mulaney bill

00:16:02.220 hater fortune she fell ali wong um and there's look at this is an old one me and barley wiped out

00:16:09.560 on the way to the airport after snl that's so cool and we're fighting about something and my buddy

00:16:15.300 took a picture okay what do they say we're running out of juice no no they're just saying because the

00:16:21.240 area is not the crowd got less interested that's good though um and then can we go down for one 1.00

00:16:26.300 second of course do you want to see this stupid house yeah this is not a stupid house this is crazy 0.99

00:16:30.640 look at your view do you have an elevator by chance oh wait do you want to go down 1.00

00:16:35.060 if we're going down i mean i got one over there if you want to take it no i'm just kidding i was

00:16:40.140 just kidding i could take this one and it's good because i don't really use it but my mom when she

00:16:44.620 stays here when i let her stay here and she stays she likes to stay downstairs so she takes it up

00:16:50.460 but i think you need it let's get some cardio in here yeah yeah we got this guys let's go

00:16:56.560 it's not exactly running the candy exactly sweater not running the candy again we don't i don't need

00:17:04.440 this so i just there's not much in here wait what is this considered a basement well this is

00:17:08.860 extra room to charge more for the house but oh look at that picture that's will ferrell at the

00:17:15.100 premiere of one of his movies and uh is that reeds is that what reeds

00:17:20.180 oh i'm tripping it was the side angle i'm so sorry i'm not a casual and that was an old

00:17:24.960 early name for tommy boy rocky road they already made up a poster

00:17:28.740 it wasn't called tommy you know the problem was we did it the same summer adam did billy madison so

00:17:35.900 ours was called billy the third uh the movie was and his name was billy and just a coincidence we

00:17:43.340 work all year in snl and we don't even put together his name is billy in his movie

00:17:48.400 and ours billy you guys just did that so he started shooting in the summer and we were like

00:17:53.240 fuck we have to change ours to something else we named him tommy but we had no move name for the 0.84

00:17:58.280 movie so it wasn't until we were done shooting we called it tommy boy there's an office rock show 0.98

00:18:03.620 we did i love that there's one of my favorite there's one of the luckiest things i did old

00:18:08.060 old rolling stone cover when it was kind of a big deal but wait were you actually naked for that

00:18:11.880 i was naked my wife was in a different shot no wait so where's your where's your no wait where's 0.86

00:18:18.960 your more sorry i don't sir i know sir um is this how it is on the street no why are you showing 0.99

00:18:26.960 sweaters i don't care what's going on with sweaters it's fucking spade now so wait i'm not gonna ask 0.99

00:18:34.160 where your junk is at sorry sir yeah it's buried in those aren't pubes i don't know what you're 0.98

00:18:38.000 thinking see this is this is fake legs so i had to wear that these two girls this girl got super 1.00

00:18:44.920 sick at lunch and left and manan is the other one she's gorgeous and so we shot and i was such a 0.99

00:18:50.560 fucking pussy on that i was like can we finish this up they're like dude you're on the cover 1.00

00:18:54.280 of something shut up uh wrong missy was one of my favorite that's the last one we did 1.00

00:18:59.160 oh i remember that that was good that that did so good for them so we're gonna do another one in uh

00:19:06.360 beginning of the year dude is this is your podcast here my podcast room yeah this was a theater

00:19:10.840 podcast called fly on the wall we just did one before you got here what hey whenever uh nevermind
