Alex Jones Show - 20060425_Tue_Alex

00:00:01.000 Big Brother Mainstream media.

00:00:08.000 Government cover-ups.

00:00:10.000 You want answers?

00:00:12.000 Well, so does he.

00:00:13.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

00:00:17.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.

00:00:21.000 Up in the second hour of this Tuesday edition, the 25th day of April 2006, Alfred W. the 25th day of April 2006, Alfred W. McCoy.

00:00:41.000 He's the author of The Politics of Heroin, a classic book.

00:00:45.000 He's got a new book out on terrorism.

00:00:47.000 He's another historian and current professor of history in the Center for Southeast Asian Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

00:00:55.000 And he'll be joining us.

00:00:57.000 He's a Ph.D.

00:00:58.000 in Southeastern Asian History from Yale University as well.

00:01:03.000 His research includes the Philippines history and the Golden Triangle, drug trade of opium and heroin, and how our government brings it in.

00:01:10.000 And he'll be joining us coming up again in the second hour.

00:01:13.000 There have been some really scary new developments with the gun grabber-in-chief.

00:01:18.000 The phony conservative George W. Bush and Larry Pratt, Executive Director of Gun Owners of America, who joins us every few months for the Legislative Update.

00:01:28.000 Boy, there's some scary stuff now.

00:01:30.000 Will be joining us in the third hour and also taking your phone calls.

00:01:35.000 I will take calls in this first hour.

00:01:38.000 But seriously, I've gotten better at this.

00:01:41.000 I'm moving to you quick.

00:01:43.000 I'm moving on to the next caller quick.

00:01:44.000 That way all of you get to get on, or at least more of you, and we don't get bogged down with a caller for five or ten minutes.

00:01:50.000 So just be ready for that.

00:01:52.000 Be ready for me to move to your calls quickly and to move through them quickly.

00:01:56.000 The toll-free number, any news item, any story, any issue, any question, any comment, you disagree with me, you agree with me, whatever, 1-800-259-9231.

00:02:03.000 By the way, If you disagree with me, you go to the head of the line.

00:02:11.000 That's always been the rule.

00:02:13.000 And so many times I'm taking calls, and I get to a caller who's been holding for 30 minutes, and it turns out that they disagree.

00:02:21.000 You need to tell the folks that answer the phones, we don't screen calls, we ask what your first name is and where you're calling from occasionally, how you're listening, but you do need to tell the person answering the phone that you disagree if you do.

00:02:32.000 And, of course, most of the people that disagree really don't disagree.

00:02:35.000 They just say that to go to the head of the line, and that's a little bit irritating.

00:02:39.000 But c'est la vie, so is life, 1-800-259-9231.

00:02:45.000 Bush is ordering a probe of gas prices exploding.

00:02:51.000 This is the equivalent of the head weasel, the top weasel, conferring with the foxes to find out who's killing hens every night in the chicken coop. 0.99

00:03:06.000 This is so ridiculous. 0.83

00:03:08.000 So we'll go into some of the politics of oil And go through what's really happening. 0.98

00:03:13.000 Also, it's in the Jerusalem Post today, top White House post, go to Jews! 0.98

00:03:21.000 And anytime you have individuals who have dual citizenship or dual loyalties, I don't care if they were German or Chinese or Russian, we need to look at this.

00:03:35.000 There is an obsession with it in the alternative media, and I guess you're going to have an obsession with it because it's never really talked about in the mainstream media, but here it is in the Jerusalem Post that not a minority, but a majority of Bush's staff, his cabinet, the Defense Department, are Israelis.

00:03:56.000 In fact, they're not even really Americans.

00:03:59.000 And that's why I have a big problem with it.

00:04:01.000 I mean, if Bush's entire His entire cabinet, or his entire staff, you know, 80% of it say, that's what the numbers are, were black.

00:04:09.000 I'd say, why is everybody black? 1.00

00:04:11.000 Or, if everybody was white, you'd say, why is everybody white?

00:04:15.000 I don't really understand why Bush, well, I really do understand.

00:04:25.000 This is the Foreign Intelligence Agency, known as Mossad, that basically is, I guess, blackmailing the White House, is what the evidence shows.

00:04:33.000 They run security there, a foreign company does.

00:04:36.000 So, I will get into this today.

00:04:38.000 It has to be discussed, and we will talk about it.

00:04:41.000 Very, very serious.

00:04:42.000 So, boy, I'm touching the zeitgeist on that one, but we'll get into it.

00:04:48.000 And we'll let you talk about it, too.

00:04:49.000 Whatever you have to say about the issue, 1-800-259-9231.

00:07:06.000 New toenails?

00:07:07.000 What happened to the old ones?

00:07:09.000 Well, they're not really new, just clear and healthy looking.

00:07:12.000 Remember how embarrassed I was?

00:07:14.000 They were so discolored and really awful looking.

00:07:17.000 Well, they sure look clear now.

00:07:19.000 Gosh, I wish I could wear sandals again.

00:07:21.000 My toenails are a disaster.

00:07:22.000 Look, this one looks white and that one's thick and yellow.

00:07:58.000 in the foot care section.

00:07:59.000 Big Brother.

00:08:07.000 Mainstream media.

00:08:09.000 Government cover-ups.

00:08:11.000 You want answers?

00:08:12.000 Well, so does he.

00:08:14.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

00:08:18.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.

00:08:25.000 Well, President Bush is ordering a probe into gas prices.

00:08:29.000 Oh, I'm sure he'll get to the bottom of it and find himself and his daddy and... Nick Cheney.

00:08:36.000 And many others at the bottom of it.

00:08:40.000 So we'll be covering that.

00:08:41.000 We do have the professor, the author of The Politics of Heroin, Alfred W. McCoy, joining us in the second hour.

00:08:47.000 A big Second Amendment update, legislative update, some really important stuff and some scary legislation and regulations moving through the House and Senate.

00:08:54.000 Larry Pratt joining us in the third hour.

00:08:55.000 We're going to have open phones today as well.

00:08:58.000 So everybody stay right there.

00:09:00.000 Already got a full boatload of calls here.

00:09:02.000 Bart, Alex, George, Mark, Leslie, and many others.

00:09:06.000 But when the communist Chinese in the late nineties took over the Panama Canal, took over Long Beach Naval Base, they've now taken over security in the Bahamas with the nuclear scanners. 0.96

00:09:18.000 The US Port Authorities and Customs aren't even allowed to intervene.

00:09:24.000 I criticize it.

00:09:25.000 China has over 5,000 front companies in the US.

00:09:30.000 They've got spies in so many of our national security infrastructure.

00:09:36.000 We're totally sold out, and so I cover that.

00:09:39.000 I've also documented how MI5 and MI6 have thoroughly infiltrated our government, even founded our own CIA, and how we're being sold out and controlled.

00:09:47.000 We cover how the La Reconquistas are being funded by our own government, and how Bush and Fox hired a fancy PR firm just four months ago to stage the four weeks of demonstrations by illegal aliens you've seen in their uniforms of white shirts and Mexican flags.

00:10:04.000 And so the continual subdividing and sellout and looting of America as the happy hunting ground for organized crime is ongoing.

00:10:14.000 And now I'm going to address Israel, and then I'm going to go to your calls.

00:10:19.000 You know, I get criticized by the Israeli lobby.

00:10:22.000 I've been attacked by the ADL for absolutely no reason.

00:10:25.000 They even misquote me.

00:10:26.000 They had a couple years ago a big border report about border vigilantes. 0.97

00:10:31.000 And they've actually changed some of the articles since I threatened to sue them and sent a registered letter from my lawyer to them, who just so happens to be Jewish, where they misquoted me saying all Mexicans are evil, they come from an evil culture. 0.97

00:10:46.000 No, I went back to the actual recording and sent them a link to that as well where I said the Aztec culture is evil just as the Nazi culture is evil and all cultures are not equal and there are evil cultures and evil leadership that do evil things. 0.58

00:11:02.000 And so they took out of context what I was saying.

00:11:05.000 And I then talked about the government perhaps being involved in blowing up the space shuttle a few years ago.

00:11:10.000 A lot of evidence of that.

00:11:12.000 And then they tried to claim I said Israel did it, which I didn't say. 0.97

00:11:16.000 So again, I have the ADL attacking me, and then meanwhile I have all the white supremacist scum And all of that ilk, and the government go and tell pro people going, Alex won't talk about Israel! 0.97

00:11:27.000 Alex is afraid to talk about Israel! 0.99

00:11:30.000 Alex doesn't hate Jews, so he's bad! 0.77

00:11:34.000 Well, I'm sorry, but almost every Jew I know hates what Israel's doing, hates the New World Order, knows that it's a very small criminal group in control of Israel. 0.74

00:11:45.000 This is the best way to explain it.

00:11:47.000 In America, the Italian Mafia in the United States in the last 100 years was never the biggest Mafia.

00:11:53.000 But the WASP Mob, the German, the English, the Irish Mafia, who were teamed up together when the Italian Mob started getting really powerful in the 40s and 50s, They got together and began a national demonization campaign against La Cosa Nostra to try to knock them back down to size, put them back in their quote, place. 0.80

00:12:19.000 And so you never really hear about the Wasp Mob, and that's the biggest mafia.

00:12:23.000 And I've studied this.

00:12:25.000 Then you've got the second biggest Mafia in America, and that's the Jewish Mafia. 0.98

00:12:31.000 And then under them, you had the Italian Mob, and then after those guys, you had the Greek Mob, and now they've been replaced with the Asian and the Mexican Mafia and Los Zetas. 0.66

00:12:41.000 If you look at the Mafias today, it's the Wasp Mob, the Jewish Mob, and then you get into the Latin American Gangsters. 0.99

00:12:50.000 The Italian Mafia has really been basically destroyed.

00:12:55.000 And then after that, you've got some of the Asian mafias. 0.91

00:12:59.000 So, I'm against organized crime.

00:13:04.000 And so, do we have Israeli double agents penetrating and controlling the Pentagon, the White House?

00:13:10.000 Are they now the most powerful foreign intelligence agency blackmailing and manipulating our internal politics?

00:13:18.000 They weren't ten years ago, they are now.

00:13:21.000 It's always been the British. 0.98

00:13:23.000 But basically the British and the US have merged completely, and so now using blackmail, using murder, using payoffs, Israel to a certain extent is in a symbiotic relationship and controlling many aspects of our foreign policy and our domestic policy. 0.77

00:13:42.000 And it's very, very scary.

00:13:45.000 And so I will criticize Israel for that, and Israel is run by organized crime syndicates. 0.87

00:13:50.000 Israel, admittedly, is the biggest importer into Europe, the Israeli government of heroin.

00:13:55.000 They are admittedly the biggest importer into the Western world of ecstasy.

00:13:58.000 They are admittedly the biggest importer now of many other synthetic drugs.

00:14:04.000 They are admittedly number two in white slavery, Saudi Arabia being number one. 1.00

00:14:11.000 And again, I'm not criticizing the people of Saudi Arabia, I'm criticizing their degenerate government and what the 5,000 princes plus and all the things they're doing. 0.77

00:14:22.000 They admittedly traffic in mainly white Europeans.

00:14:26.000 They go for a premium. 0.96

00:14:29.000 Kidnap Serbs, Croats, Russians. 1.00

00:14:33.000 It's a million to a year being kidnapped and that's the UN's own numbers.

00:14:39.000 Halliburton and Dyncor have been in the Chicago Tribune, Houston Chronicle, Associated Press involved in it as well. 0.96

00:14:46.000 So yes, Israel is as dirty as it gets. 0.99

00:14:50.000 And it is just manifestly wicked. 0.99

00:14:55.000 And we hear from the bought-off Christian so-called conservative lobby in America that if you say Israel does anything wrong, you're going to hell. 0.99

00:15:03.000 That you're of the devil.

00:15:05.000 That if sacrament isn't being born again and believing in Jesus Christ, to be a Christian you must worship Israel and support whatever they do.

00:15:12.000 That is not in my Bible.

00:15:13.000 All the prophets came to criticize, and they were Jewish, to criticize what Israel was doing and to tell them to get back on the straight and narrow. 0.84

00:15:22.000 And then Israel was put into bondage, the Babylonians and many others, whenever they didn't follow God's design.

00:15:28.000 So that's really what the Bible says.

00:15:29.000 I know you don't read it, you just believe your preacher who's being flown, you know, on his own private jet paid for by the Israeli military and is totally on the payroll.

00:15:39.000 And our government and crime syndicates in this country use Israel as they use Switzerland, as they use the Bahamas, as they use other places as these offshore money laundering centers.

00:15:49.000 And so basically that's what's happening.

00:15:53.000 But again, most Israelis, most Jews, even most so-called Zionists are just led along by the nose by these crime syndicates. 0.93

00:16:03.000 And why do I bring this up today?

00:16:04.000 Here it is in the Jerusalem Post.

00:16:07.000 Top White House Post goes to Jews.

00:16:09.000 After appointing Joshua Bolton to be the White House Chief of Staff, U.S.

00:16:18.000 President George W. Bush nominated another Jewish staffer, Joel Kaplan, to serve as Bolton's deputy, putting him in charge of the daily policy planning.

00:16:28.000 The fact that the White House policy is now in the hands of two Jews is not seen as significant by activists in the American Jewish community.

00:16:35.000 He is simply appointing the best people for the job, said Nathan Dement, who heads the Washington office of the Orthodox Union and other Jewish activists, added that he wouldn't read too much into it.

00:16:47.000 Bolton, who first served as the head of the Office of Management and Budget, was the first Jewish member of Bush's Cabinet.

00:16:52.000 Ever since Bush took office, there has been a custom of opening Cabinet meetings with a brief prayer.

00:16:57.000 And so, before his first Cabinet meeting, Bolton's assistant contacted DeMint and asked him for help in finding a Jewish prayer for the Secretary, as well as for the Cabinet members.

00:17:09.000 The Orthodox Union provided him with a text in English and in Hebrew, and Bolton read it aloud in the next Cabinet meeting.

00:17:16.000 Bolton and Kaplan will probably be the most prominent Jewish members of the Bush administration, but not the only ones.

00:17:21.000 Apart from Bolton, there is another Jewish cabinet member, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, and there's another Jewish senior staff member, including Deputy National Security Advisor Elliot Abrams and White House staffer Jay Lefkowitz.

00:17:35.000 In the past year, several Jews who were holding senior posts in the administration of left, among them Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz, who went to be World Bank head, Undersecretary of Defense Doug Feith, Vice President Dick Cheney, Chief of Staff Scooter Libby, and Political Advisor Ken Melman, who now has the Republican National Committee.

00:17:52.000 And it goes on and on.

00:17:54.000 Folks, when you have 25 neocons, and 19 of them are dual citizen, hardcore right-wing Zionists, you've got a problem.

00:18:05.000 And when you have the so-called neocons being former Jewish Trotskyites, and they call themselves neocons, and then when General Zinni criticizes their war plans, they go, oh, you're anti-Semitic.

00:18:17.000 This has to be addressed.

00:18:19.000 All this is, is a mafia.

00:18:22.000 A mafia that is in the White House.

00:18:25.000 America is open for business.

00:18:27.000 We're like a vending machine.

00:18:28.000 You come put your quarters in, or your dollars in, and you pull the lever, and whatever you paid for comes out.

00:18:33.000 And we have Chinese operatives all throughout the government, in the technology sector, in the war-making sector is its dual loyalty. 0.65

00:18:40.000 I wouldn't even say dual, it's Israeli agents.

00:18:43.000 In other sectors, it just goes on and on and on.

00:18:47.000 The Federal Reserve, a lot of them are dual loyalty Israelis.

00:18:52.000 It's got to be addressed.

00:18:54.000 I mean, and it's scary.

00:18:58.000 But if we play into the hate mongers out there and start attacking Jews, this is exactly what the globalists want.

00:19:05.000 And I've done some more research on this.

00:19:09.000 They had the quote, American Hitler, and it turned out it was all staged for eight years and he was really a Jewish individual posing to try to get a bunch of hate laws passed. 0.63

00:19:20.000 We've caught rabbis during hate legislation in Idaho, staging with Jews dressed up in Nazi outfits, hailing Hitler. 0.76

00:19:30.000 They've caught a lot of black folks sending themselves hate letters and vandalizing their own buildings and churches. 0.97

00:19:38.000 They just caught a bunch of Jewish youth burning a bunch of black churches. 0.99

00:19:44.000 This is a program of control. 0.98

00:19:47.000 A program of control.

00:19:51.000 We cannot be sucked into it.

00:19:54.000 They all want us at each other's throats and we've got to resist it.

00:20:01.000 Hey folks, this is Ted Anderson.

00:20:03.000 You've all heard me on the radio talking about the importance of investing in precious metals.

00:20:07.000 I feel it's time for me to talk about the importance of investing in your health.

00:20:11.000 I was presented with the opportunity to try Tri-Vibes from TriVortex.

00:20:15.000 I was a bit hesitant of the idea of absorbing vitamins by wearing them rather than ingesting them After conducting one of the tests found at TriVortex.com, I was convinced that the product might actually work.

00:20:26.000 I now wear my TriVibes bands daily, and I'm feeling better than ever.

00:20:30.000 Not only physically, but also mentally.

00:20:39.000 TriVortex is amazing.

00:20:59.000 Hi, this is Ted Anderson.

00:21:03.000 Have you ever wondered why banks, stockbrokers, investment advisors won't talk about gold for your IRA?

00:21:09.000 That's right.

00:21:10.000 Gold has been available to be placed in IRAs since 1986.

00:21:13.000 Yet still, the financial industry refuses to recognize the value of real hard assets for your retirement.

00:21:20.000 The truth be told, gold and silver has outperformed paper investments like stocks, bonds and CDs, yet no word about IRAs.

00:21:28.000 Perhaps the financial institutions want to maintain control of your assets by keeping you in paper.

00:21:34.000 If you'd like to take a look at gold free retirement, call 800-686-2237.

00:21:39.000 Don't get left behind by rising inflation and low return on your paper investments.

00:21:57.000 Introducing the most efficient gravity filter available.

00:22:03.000 You know, if you were to throw 100 ball bearings at a magnet, most would bounce off.

00:22:07.000 But, if you placed them on the magnet, all would stick.

00:22:10.000 The same principle applies in water filtration.

00:22:13.000 Most filtration systems force water through the filter at 60 to 90 PSI, causing water molecules to race through the filter in less than a second.

00:22:22.000 The Berkey light is different.

00:22:23.000 Water molecules take 5 to 10 minutes to pass through the torturous path of the self-sterilizing filters.

00:22:29.000 This allows the proprietary media formulation to remove and reduce pathogenic bacteria, cysts, chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, organic solvents, foul tastes, odors, heavy metals, and nitrates.

00:22:42.000 It is so powerful, it purifies raw, untreated water from remote lakes, streams, and stagnant ponds.

00:22:58.000 The ideology powering the Democrats and Republicans is not liberalism or conservatism, but globalism.

00:23:05.000 Globalists are concerned with what's good for big business in the American empire instead of what's fair for the American people.

00:23:58.000 Your calls are coming up. .

00:24:12.000 Did you know that right up at 90% of the caller ID technology is run by one company that's openly Israeli owned and run out of Israel?

00:24:25.000 Incredible control over all the phone call records and billing.

00:24:29.000 Did you know that a private company installed a security system in the White House and runs the phone system and it's Israeli?

00:24:38.000 I mean look at our port security run by the Communist Chinese in many areas. 0.99

00:24:44.000 Our major highways from Indiana to Texas being taken over by the Spanish company Centra.

00:24:51.000 We have now the majority of our water districts paid for by the American people locally owned by a German and a Dutch company respectively.

00:25:01.000 This is globalism.

00:25:02.000 Globalism is where the corporations get bigger than governments, come in and pay off governments, and then the corporations literally put their officers into government positions and begin funneling the public chest, the public tax money, the largesse, into their own coffers.

00:25:20.000 And then they also give their officers political power.

00:25:23.000 And they then sign over political power to private mercenary firms and private armies.

00:25:29.000 It's happening systematically.

00:25:31.000 In fact, the numbers I'm using are a year old.

00:25:34.000 The new numbers are due out very soon.

00:25:37.000 Forbes every year does a report on it, so do several other publications.

00:25:40.000 Of the 100 biggest economies, you know I've talked about this a lot in the past, 44 of them aren't even governments, they're corporations.

00:25:50.000 And that number is set to grow this year.

00:25:54.000 Soon, the majority of the biggest economies in the world won't be the United States, won't be California, won't be China.

00:26:01.000 It'll be global corporations with their own intelligence agencies, their own security, their own mercenaries, running anything and everything with absolutely no oversight.

00:26:12.000 You look at the revolving door of Big Pharma and the Food and Drug Administration.

00:26:17.000 And you look at the big chemical plants and industry and the revolving door into the Environmental Protection Agency.

00:26:23.000 You look at the revolving door how Monsanto openly pays for the careers of almost all the federal judges that sit over the courts deciding on their products and genetically engineered modified foods and organisms.

00:26:36.000 At every level the checks and balances are being blocked.

00:26:41.000 And Israel's manipulation and control over large sectors of our government and economy is really only a small part of the equation, and that's why I tend to try to focus on the big picture and cover every facet of it, not just obsessing on Israel.

00:26:58.000 But I can certainly see how people do obsess on Israel.

00:27:00.000 Some people obsess on China.

00:27:02.000 They obsess on how much control the Arabs have over our economy, but never focusing on the Saxe-Coburg-Gothas.

00:27:10.000 That is the British-German family that's also the same royal family.

00:27:14.000 They're all interbred with the Dutch. 1.00

00:27:16.000 And the Dutch are what, the third biggest owners in this country.

00:27:19.000 You never even hear about them.

00:27:22.000 And so we're being taken over.

00:27:24.000 And they come right in, these foreign companies, these foreign families, these foreign intelligence agencies.

00:27:29.000 They come right in and they pay off our agents, our spies.

00:27:33.000 They infiltrate to the highest levels.

00:27:35.000 They use blackmail.

00:27:38.000 And their number one job is to get control of the public coffers and direct those wealth into their hands and write regulations that then go after any of their competition.

00:27:48.000 That's one of the few things that's been holding back the Global Crime Syndicate is that there is some infighting at the lower and mid-levels of it.

00:27:55.000 But at the top, they meet with the Bilderberg Group every year, 120 globalists, and only about 25 guests, and they set the course.

00:28:02.000 Remember almost about a year ago after Bilderberg?

00:28:05.000 What, ten months ago?

00:28:07.000 We had Jim Tucker on right when he got back, and he said, well, Henry Kissinger says oil is going to go to $100 a barrel by end of the next year.

00:28:15.000 And he said he basically broke everything down that was going to happen, as he does every year.

00:28:21.000 Daniel Estolano had been covering Bilderberg for nine years, not for 27 like Tucker has.

00:28:25.000 Got the same intel from his sources inside the meeting.

00:28:29.000 And then there were several other predictions that were made, and they're all on track towards happening.

00:28:33.000 How do these guys That are in the Bilderberg meeting set the agenda because they all represent different facets of the worldwide crime syndicate.

00:28:45.000 They come together and they combine their forces through agreements to create this world government that the private corporations are going to control.

00:28:54.000 So instead of having to pay off each government in hand, they will simply have to pay off each central government and they will have total control.

00:29:03.000 And that's what the illegal immigration is about.

00:29:06.000 It's not so much about driving down wages, that's part of it.

00:29:08.000 It's not even so much about getting us all fighting with each other, and that's part of it.

00:29:12.000 The main stated goal of the Council on Foreign Relations that put out, what, a year ago, its border plan, is merging the U.S.

00:29:19.000 and Canada to form the Pan-American Union, and then to begin to merge that block with Central and South America and the Caribbean nations.

00:29:28.000 And it's happening.

00:29:30.000 It's all happening right now.

00:29:32.000 And the 25 million illegal aliens in this country are the political weapon the globalists can use to bully the American people into accepting this. 0.95

00:29:42.000 We'll come back.

00:30:58.000 Nuclear reactors provide economical energy, but would you be prepared during an accident?

00:31:06.000 During nuclear disasters, great amounts of radioactive iodine are released into the atmosphere, which are then readily absorbed into the body.

00:31:15.000 Medical course potassium iodate gives you virtually complete protection from the most feared consequence of a nuclear accident.

00:31:22.000 Radioactive Poisoning.

00:31:23.000 Potassium Iodate can protect against radioactive poisoning by filling the thyroid with good iodine.

00:31:29.000 This shields the thyroid and prevents it from absorbing the harmful radioactive iodine.

00:33:22.000 If that's true, people really aren't informed.

00:33:25.000 I'm not trying to be negative here.

00:33:27.000 All the major economic indicators are not looking too bright.

00:33:32.000 But people at first, when they start an inflationary spike, printing a bunch of money, don't realize it historically until it's too late.

00:33:38.000 I wish we could reverse this, but I really get tired of saying, see, I told you so.

00:33:43.000 But we'll get into that after some calls.

00:33:47.000 I wanted to tell the listeners briefly about America's Beginnings, Volume 1, The New Atlantis.

00:33:53.000 An important new film I'm carrying and I'm really impressed with.

00:33:56.000 Here's the trailer voiced by Dr. Stan Monteith.

00:34:00.000 You understand that America was crowded by Christians as a Christian nation.

00:34:05.000 However, there were always those people on the other side who wanted to use America, use our military power and our financial power to establish enlightened democracies throughout the world and restore lost Atlantis.

00:34:20.000 When our founders declared a new order of the ages, they were acting on an ancient hope that is meant to be fulfilled.

00:34:36.000 As America marches forward, spreading democracy throughout the globe, is she merely promoting freedom or fulfilling an ancient plan?

00:34:46.000 Is she following a course planned for centuries by men who believe she is chosen for a secret destiny?

00:34:53.000 To understand the present and possibly the future, we look into the past as we unfold the secret mysteries of America's beginnings.

00:35:09.000 Can America be the new Atlantis?

00:35:12.000 Folks, it's excellent.

00:35:14.000 It's really good.

00:35:16.000 Folks, it's excellent.

00:35:19.000 It's really good.

00:35:21.000 You need to have it.

00:36:33.000 Now, the news and your calls are coming up!

00:36:36.000 We'd like to get her on at least once a week for a few minutes, and that's Debbie Morrow, who just works the radio shows. 1.00

00:36:41.000 They're the big national manufacturer, the national distributor of the British Berkey, and the distributor of the British Berkey, but they make the American Black Berkey, which we use here in the office.

00:36:53.000 An amazing system and instead of paying 300 bucks for it when you buy it at the camping supply store or the health food store where you can find their products, top of the line you can get it for what about a hundred dollars off on average, what $195 for one of their units, what $249 for another unit, and they have the $25 sports bottles.

00:37:14.000 So many things you need.

00:37:16.000 Debbie, thanks for coming on with us.

00:37:18.000 Hi Alex, thank you very much for having me.

00:37:21.000 You bet.

00:37:22.000 Just people need to call you.

00:37:23.000 They need to get a free brochure.

00:37:25.000 They need to stop drinking the poison water. 0.71

00:37:27.000 Debbie, why should people stop drinking the water?

00:37:30.000 Well, you know, the reason people ought to stop drinking their tap water is because of the contaminants.

00:37:37.000 They're not only secretly put into the water, but they're advertised that they're put into the water.

00:37:43.000 And we all know how bad they are for us.

00:37:47.000 The local water industry and the governments like to make it sound good, you know, that a little bit of rat poison in your water is not going to hurt you, you know.

00:37:54.000 A little bit of arsenic, a little bit of fluoride.

00:37:57.000 And it's not even little bits, it's large amounts and it's killing people off, you know.

00:38:02.000 You hear about the little old lady who ate homegrown food her whole life, but still died of stomach cancer. 0.99

00:38:10.000 You know, why does that happen?

00:38:12.000 You know, there's so many contaminants put into our water systems.

00:38:16.000 Even people who are on rainwater are getting it from the air, you know, the contaminants from the contrails and all the different things that are in the air.

00:38:24.000 Well, the factories, you name it.

00:38:26.000 Yeah, so we really want to encourage people to take control of their own life and filter their water themselves before they drink their water so that they know they're getting the most perfect, you know, best possible source.

00:38:39.000 Well, Berkey is the best, and it's gravity-fed, the same thing that makes spring water so clean as it goes through the limestone.

00:38:46.000 It's the same principle.

00:38:48.000 And Debbie, tell folks why the American Berkey is so good, the Black Berkey, and tell them how they get it. 0.95

00:38:54.000 Well, the new Black Berkey purification elements actually set a new standard in the water filter industry because they do take the contaminants out to a completely non-detectable level.

00:39:05.000 Instead of 99.99%, which used to be the industry standard, the new BlackBerkey filter elements did set a new standard for purification.

00:39:18.000 And they can get it by calling me toll-free at 1-888-803-4438.

00:39:24.000 That's 1-888-803-4438.

00:39:26.000 And if you called last week and got the machine and I haven't gotten back with you, please call me again.

00:39:35.000 I did have a few days vacation last week and...

00:39:38.000 So the cop phones were tied up as Judy was taking the call. 0.98

00:39:41.000 So if I hadn't gotten back to you, please call me back again and I'll be glad to take your orders.

00:39:48.000 And be sure and tell folks you're getting an Alex Jones special because you get huge discounts when you do that.

00:39:54.000 You can also order off the SecureSafe shopping cart at InfoWars.com and get the free gifts, the Sheltering in Place DVDs or sports bottles, their filters themselves or other items.

00:40:04.000 Just list what free item you want there and it has a list of them.

00:40:08.000 Or go to Berkeywater.com and do that.

00:40:10.000 Berkeywater.com or Infowars.com.

00:40:12.000 Or give Debbie a call at 888-803-4438.

00:40:17.000 Debbie, we'll talk to you soon and thanks for coming on with us.

00:40:19.000 Thank you.

00:40:20.000 Take care.

00:40:21.000 And again folks, they're the big national manufacturer of it.

00:40:21.000 You bet.

00:40:25.000 And then Jim just has Debbie.

00:40:27.000 You get her personal attention.

00:40:31.000 And so it's kind of down home when you call and order with her.

00:40:34.000 That's why the phone's busy.

00:40:35.000 Leave her name and number or she'll call you back.

00:40:37.000 Sometimes they get overwhelmed because they get so many calls.

00:40:39.000 But Debbie just handles their radio interviews and they told me that we're about 80% of their radio interview orders.

00:40:46.000 So I'm glad our listeners have taken action and are doing this.

00:40:49.000 888-803-4438.

00:40:50.000 Tell them Alex Jones sent you.

00:40:54.000 Okay, let's go right to your calls.

00:40:55.000 Thank you for holding listeners.

00:40:57.000 Let's go ahead and talk to Barton, Texas.

00:40:59.000 Bart, you're on the air.

00:41:01.000 Hey Alex, I was calling because if you remember when that Bilderberg report came out last year, one of the statements that came out was going to be the coordinated attack.

00:41:10.000 against alternative media here in the U.S.

00:41:13.000 They said, and I got this from three separate, Tucker, Estalon, and one other person who got it directly from the staff and others.

00:41:13.000 That's right.

00:41:20.000 Again, this is real intelligence.

00:41:21.000 It's proven to be very accurate that they're very upset at the alternative media, the quote, patriots in America.

00:41:27.000 They want to shut down the web.

00:41:28.000 They want to tax and restrict it.

00:41:29.000 And now, exactly what Tucker and Estalon said would happen is now happening.

00:41:33.000 Go ahead.

00:41:34.000 Oh, exactly.

00:41:35.000 And I mean, you know, one of the best examples of that, I think, is right now the national bills that are in front of the Congress to deal with public access.

00:41:44.000 But those bills are actually mirrors of bills that have already been passed here in Texas, and that was what I wanted to ask you, Alex.

00:41:50.000 Were you aware that under the new franchise agreements for public access in Texas, that whenever those franchise agreements come up, that public access has no more funding capability?

00:42:00.000 Well, I mean, San Antonio woke up this last summer and their public access is gone and Houston's going to lose its public access in 2008.

00:42:00.000 Yeah, 2011.

00:42:10.000 It's already shut down.

00:42:12.000 I hear you and I appreciate the call.

00:42:14.000 Yes sir, I'm fully aware.

00:42:16.000 I think the attacks on the web dwarf the attacks on access television.

00:42:21.000 If cities have the will to keep their access TV, then they'll still be there.

00:42:27.000 And again, that gets off into the mechanics of AXS TV when it was founded 34 years ago in Austin, Texas and the laws that Congress passed.

00:42:35.000 So yes, I'm here in the birthplace of AXS television and I'm deeply involved in all of it.

00:42:40.000 I was at a seminar this weekend for two hours studying it, looking at the laws themselves and how to fight it in the future.

00:42:49.000 So yes, I'm involved.

00:42:50.000 And yes, there is an attack on the alternative media across the board.

00:42:54.000 They didn't mind AXS TV five, ten years ago when nobody was using it.

00:42:57.000 Now, coast to coast, people are airing Road to Tyranny and Masters of Terror and Martial Law and Loose Change 2nd Edition and In Plain Sight.

00:43:06.000 Waco, the rules of engagement.

00:43:08.000 I mean, I've been in hotel rooms in other cities and seen my films on.

00:43:12.000 My father travels a lot.

00:43:13.000 He's seen them in multiple towns, turns on the television in his hotel room, and there it is.

00:43:17.000 So, yes, we've used the tool.

00:43:20.000 Now they're trying to shut it down.

00:43:22.000 But if you look at the viewers of AXS TV, it's millions and millions, but it's nothing compared to the power of the web.

00:43:29.000 How we now have web TV and people watching AXS television basically on the internet.

00:43:38.000 And the internet now has more viewers and listeners and people going to it than the mainstream news and TV.

00:43:44.000 So they're panicking, so they're coming in with regulations, taxes, So you're absolutely right, caller.

00:43:50.000 Alex in Texas, you're on the air.

00:43:52.000 Hey, Alex.

00:43:53.000 First, I really want to thank you for having your guest on yesterday.

00:43:56.000 We really needed someone to represent exactly what Falun Gong, Falun Dafa is all about, and that it's not a religion, and that it's very beneficial to anyone, and you can get their lessons on falundafa.com.

00:44:08.000 But, I had a quick question.

00:44:11.000 You're speaking of people saying that you're white on Zionism or whatever, And there's someone named Daniel Bradford Smith, and he points to the fact that you're an honorary member of RFICC, which apparently says they're looking for a government of God on Earth, and so what I'm wondering is why would anyone point to that as...

00:44:31.000 You being light on Zionism?

00:44:32.000 Well, number one, sir, I've never signed on for that.

00:44:35.000 I've had people ask me about that.

00:44:38.000 It's some conservative Christian group that made me an honorary member.

00:44:42.000 I can say, Bill Clinton's an honorary member of PrisonPlanet.tv.

00:44:47.000 I'm giving Bill Clinton a membership, and then they can go to Bill Clinton, I guess at a CFR meeting, and go, why are you working with Alex Jones?

00:44:55.000 And Bill Clinton will say, I didn't know about that.

00:44:59.000 So really, sir, I don't want to give shadowy individuals that just make stuff up any attention.

00:45:04.000 Yeah, I'm sorry, but the way they presented it makes it look like you're actually on there.

00:45:09.000 So could you legally get yourself off of there?

00:45:11.000 No, you know what?

00:45:12.000 I don't care, sir.

00:45:13.000 I appreciate the call.

00:45:14.000 Listen, oil prices are now over $3 a gallon.

00:45:19.000 There's depleted uranium in our atmosphere being picked up by British and U.S.

00:45:22.000 detectors.

00:45:24.000 The dollar has been devalued by 40-plus percent.

00:45:27.000 The new Fed Chief says he's going to print money at an unlimited amount and that they're now making that amount secret for the first time since the Federal Reserve Act in 1913, 90-something years ago.

00:45:37.000 Okay?

00:45:38.000 Look, there's a quick way for people to get attention.

00:45:41.000 Attack the big dog on the block and that's Alex Jones.

00:45:45.000 I mean, I don't even really respond when Popular Mechanics attacks me, or Foreign Affairs attacks me, or American Legion attacks me, or The Washington Post attacks me.

00:45:56.000 I mean, there have been a bunch of hit pieces on me I haven't even responded to concerning Charlie Sheen on 9-11.

00:46:01.000 I mean, that would be a boring show if I sat up here and just responded all day.

00:46:08.000 Listen, I'll respond for you again.

00:46:10.000 I ought to just have a one-minute thing that plays at the start of each show.

00:46:15.000 I am not a Scientologist.

00:46:17.000 I don't know any Scientologists.

00:46:18.000 There's a 50-something year old man with dark hair who works for Scientology named Alex Jones.

00:46:23.000 I'm not him.

00:46:24.000 I'm 32 years old.

00:46:26.000 Okay?

00:46:28.000 I'm not a billionaire industrialist from Canada.

00:46:31.000 I'm not the head of the Shorenstein Center.

00:46:33.000 I didn't win the Pulitzer Prize last week.

00:46:35.000 I'm not Alex S. Jones.

00:46:36.000 I've been accused of being him.

00:46:38.000 67 years old, I think.

00:46:39.000 Every week I get mean emails going, you piece of filth, you work for the New York Times, and you have an NPR show, and you're the head of this business.

00:46:46.000 No, that's not me. 0.98

00:46:48.000 You have some website, and I have looked at it, it's like a Christian conservative group, saying they want God to come to, you know, Jesus to come, and they gave me an honorary membership, I don't even, it's ridiculous.

00:47:00.000 I don't even know who they are, they just gave me a membership.

00:47:02.000 It doesn't matter Look, folks, this is how COINTELPRO works.

00:47:07.000 And I don't know, most people are just attacking me because they're egomaniacs.

00:47:11.000 Okay?

00:47:12.000 Can you imagine people listening on AM and FM stations right now that have no idea what we're even talking about?

00:47:17.000 They tune in here for news.

00:47:20.000 They tune in here for information.

00:47:23.000 And they don't get that sometimes.

00:47:26.000 They just get to hear about egomaniacs that are trying to throw stones at the big boy on the block.

00:47:33.000 You know, I'm here to bring other hosts on.

00:47:35.000 I'm here to bring other people on.

00:47:36.000 I'm here to bring on other perspectives.

00:47:37.000 I'm here to uplift people in the Patriot or Truth movement.

00:47:41.000 And I watch people.

00:47:42.000 If they're not weirdo egomaniacs that attack everyone, I have them on this show and try to build them up. 0.91

00:47:47.000 If they're snake-like vermin, I don't give them any attention.

00:47:51.000 I mean, my job is not to send you to bad people, send you to bad places.

00:47:56.000 This movement, about half of it, is just ninnying and backstabbing and freaking out and saying who your favorite is.

00:48:02.000 You know, like we're baseball teams or something.

00:48:06.000 We're fighting the New World Order.

00:48:08.000 We're fighting global government.

00:48:12.000 George, where are you calling us from?

00:48:15.000 Welcome, sir.

00:48:15.000 Canada, Alex.

00:48:16.000 Thank you.

00:48:17.000 What a coincidence you started talking about the Bilderberg Group this morning.

00:48:20.000 I'm reading a Headline here on the UK Sun Online website, Mick Beat George to Sweet.

00:48:28.000 Bush is just happening to be in continental Europe in June for an economic summit.

00:48:36.000 He tried to book a 3,200-pound sterling suite at the Imperial Hotel in Vienna, Austria.

00:48:44.000 By the way, I've been told by my sources that that's probably where it's going to be is outside Vienna.

00:48:51.000 That's what I'm thinking.

00:48:52.000 And what a coincidence that good old T-Dub is going to be in town or, you know, a helicopter ride away.

00:48:57.000 What do you have to say about that?

00:49:01.000 Well, if a president, a sitting president, goes to Bilderberg, that'll be unprecedented.

00:49:05.000 They normally go before their president and after their president.

00:49:08.000 His father, of course, has been many times.

00:49:10.000 And, uh, it sounds like a crime syndicate meeting to me.

00:49:14.000 Could it be that his Bilderberg masters are summoning him in to report on what he plans to do in Iran?

00:49:20.000 You could easily slip away for a couple hours, you know, quick helicopter ride.

00:49:24.000 Well, we know he was in Northern California the last two years during the Bohemian Grove and there were weird groups of Secret Service there, by weird I mean increased levels.

00:49:36.000 So, yeah, I mean certainly. 0.83

00:49:38.000 Yeah, these guys are criminals, Alex. 0.95

00:49:40.000 I wish they were all in jail. 0.97

00:49:42.000 Well, they may go to jail someday.

00:49:44.000 They're not invincible.

00:49:45.000 I sure hope so.

00:49:47.000 That's my comment.

00:49:47.000 That's what I wanted to add.

00:49:49.000 Like I said, it really is a coincidence that Bush is going to be in continental Europe when the Bilderbergers are supposed to be meeting. 0.96

00:49:56.000 Well, it's funny you said Vienna because that's, of the three places, that's where we believe they're going to be meeting is Austria.

00:50:03.000 But they may change that last minute now.

00:50:06.000 I mean, we learned a few days before now.

00:50:07.000 In the past, we learned weeks before.

00:50:09.000 They're very secretive.

00:50:10.000 They try all sorts of tricks.

00:50:12.000 They're also trying to find out who the moles are by leaking three different locations of three different people and then seeing if we find out.

00:50:22.000 That's all I wanted to say.

00:50:22.000 Thanks Alex.

00:50:23.000 Just bring it up to you.

00:50:24.000 Bring it to your attention.

00:50:25.000 Yeah, thank you.

00:50:26.000 And so sometimes folks you'll learn why I don't come out with something I know.

00:50:31.000 But now it's leaked and it's out there.

00:50:32.000 It already has so I can mention it.

00:50:34.000 You know, I did this a month ago where they're supposedly going to have their meeting.

00:50:39.000 Not 100%.

00:50:39.000 They have two other places booked.

00:50:41.000 But they got a place booked in Canada and a place booked in Scotland.

00:50:46.000 But it looks like it's going to be a town outside Vienna.

00:50:49.000 And so sometimes, you know, this is a war, folks.

00:50:53.000 This is a war.

00:50:54.000 All right, we'll come back, take some more calls from Mark and Leslie and others.

00:50:59.000 Stay with us.

00:54:53.000 Let's go ahead and talk to Mark in Texas.

00:54:56.000 Mark, you're on the air.

00:54:57.000 Well again, after your guest yesterday, I typed China International Transplantation Center into the Google and up popped this multicolored advertisement.

00:55:10.000 The home page to this group starts, quote, organ providers can be found immediately.

00:55:19.000 And if you click on the selection of volunteers, you'll see, quote, as for the kidney transplantation, it may take One week to find a suitable donor, the maximum time being one month.

00:55:32.000 Now, of course, in this country it takes a year or two for these things to become available.

00:55:37.000 Well, sir, the Chinese government has advertised they take them from executed people, and then now they're trying to spin it and deny it.

00:55:45.000 And notice it says China International Organ Transplant Center, has the building on the front, introduction to China's International Transplantation Center.

00:55:54.000 And it has the nice little smiling nurses. 0.97

00:55:57.000 Yes, I was going to mention that.

00:55:58.000 Oh, they're so friendly.

00:56:00.000 And again, it's admitted they're murdering political dissidents and taking their organs.

00:56:05.000 And our president stands there on the stage with just an open devil, like he's a good guy.

00:56:12.000 Yeah, and what it looks like they've done is once they arrest these people, they blood type them immediately and put it in a database so they have it all ready to go When somebody comes along wanting their organs.

00:56:24.000 Have you seen the science fiction movie, The Island?

00:56:27.000 I believe so, years ago.

00:56:30.000 It's where they have people warehoused, and then the minute somebody, some rich person has a car wreck, or gets sick, they just take them in, put them under, and take their organs.

00:56:43.000 Truth is stranger than fiction.

00:56:44.000 It even has a price list.

00:56:47.000 Kidney transplant, $62,000.

00:56:48.000 Liver transplant, 98 to 130 thousand dollars.

00:56:53.000 Kidney, liver, pancreas, heart, cornea transplants.

00:56:57.000 It goes on and on.

00:56:59.000 It would be just like going to the grocery store and them having, you know, humans hanging up on hooks.

00:57:05.000 It's incredible.

00:57:06.000 Also, I live in Travis County, so I got my 2000 census test here, if you want to talk about that a second.

00:57:12.000 Yeah, how many questions does it have on it?

00:57:14.000 I got the short one.

00:57:15.000 It only really wants you to know how many people live here, what their name and birthdates are, and then extensive questions on the race of the people.

00:57:25.000 Now, by the way, folks, notice now you don't get a census every 10 years, you get one every couple years.

00:57:30.000 Right.

00:57:30.000 This is the 2006 census test.

00:57:33.000 And we told people back in 2000 that it's now going to be a yearly census and then they try to tell you by law you have to sign it.

00:57:40.000 No, you do not have to fill that out.

00:57:42.000 Well, I'm not sure about that.

00:57:43.000 The Houston judge that you mentioned, she reversed her decision.

00:57:47.000 Well, it doesn't matter, sir.

00:57:48.000 They had one conviction, I think back in 1968, for someone giving false answers on one.

00:57:53.000 It's called the Fifth Amendment.

00:57:54.000 They can't make someone who's been caught with dead bodies in their basement answer questions under the Fifth Amendment, and they can't make you answer more than how many people live there.

00:58:03.000 That's it.

00:58:04.000 It's in the Constitution.

00:58:05.000 And I'm not going to, so... I haven't, so do what you want.

00:58:09.000 But, by the way, it's going to become a monthly census in 2010.

00:58:13.000 Okay, well thanks a lot.

00:58:14.000 Goodbye.

00:58:15.000 And, sir, you're the majority of people, but one in six households gets a 49-question census.

00:58:23.000 I think it's one in 15 or so gets a multi-hundred question.

00:58:27.000 What kind of guns do you have?

00:58:28.000 What bank accounts?

00:58:29.000 Exact stocks and bonds?

00:58:32.000 When do you go to work in the morning?

00:58:34.000 Oh, we're just supposed to answer the government's questions!

00:58:37.000 This is interrogation.

00:59:04.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

00:59:09.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.

00:59:14.000 The author of "The Politics of Heroin: CIA Complicity in Global Drug Trade," Alfred W. McCoy, professor, We'll be joining us coming up in the next segment for the Balance of the Hour.

00:59:35.000 Then we have a Second Amendment Legislative Update.

00:59:37.000 Very important.

00:59:38.000 A lot of new developments.

00:59:39.000 With the Executive Director of Gun Owners of America, Larry Pratt, coming up in the third hour.

00:59:43.000 We'll have open phones throughout the broadcast.

00:59:45.000 Right now, let's go back to your calls.

00:59:47.000 Leslie in Virginia.

00:59:48.000 Thanks for holding.

00:59:49.000 Go ahead.

00:59:49.000 Hi, Alex.

00:59:50.000 This morning when I woke up, I listened to ABC, the affiliate WMAL radio.

00:59:57.000 And I heard the details.

00:59:59.000 This is main news about Charlie Chain's court filings from his wife.

01:00:04.000 He's suffering from paranoia and delusional remarks because of the statements about vaccines and the 9-1-1 event.

01:00:13.000 That's right.

01:00:13.000 His children must be taken because he's delusional.

01:00:16.000 He believes that Formula is bad for children's brains.

01:00:20.000 That's mainstream news that it doesn't give them the fatty acids they need. 0.92

01:00:24.000 He's very evil.

01:00:25.000 He thinks mercury in vaccines is bad.

01:00:27.000 And he believes that 9-11 is very suspicious.

01:00:30.000 Now, as a Virginian, Alex, ABC, I suggest that they cover Warner, Senator Warner's palimony settlement from his first wife.

01:00:41.000 And that involved that she also had to give the Atoka Farm in Middleburg, Virginia, to him.

01:00:48.000 And in 1997, uh, he married actress Liz Taylor.

01:00:53.000 But he lost his initial bid in the primary here in Roanoke to a southern politician named Mr. Obershane, who suffered a fatal small little plane crash shortly after through the default.

01:01:07.000 So Senator Warner ended up as a GEO nomination for the senatorial race that he won in 78.

01:01:15.000 Yeah, he's on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

01:01:19.000 Very powerful.

01:01:20.000 My suggestion to ABC is this.

01:01:22.000 Did Liz Taylor have to pay off Warner like his first wife? 1.00

01:01:28.000 You know, I don't know, but I really appreciate your call.

01:01:30.000 Let's go ahead and talk to Ed in Pennsylvania.

01:01:33.000 Ed, go ahead.

01:01:34.000 Hello, Alex.

01:01:36.000 Hi.

01:01:37.000 I don't know if you remember the 70s where you had to stand in line for gas Yes, I remember the oil crisis.

01:01:44.000 Well, about two months ago, you mentioned about getting a backup car.

01:01:49.000 And I would like to suggest to you to get a diesel, maybe.

01:01:52.000 And diesel fuel is very easy to store.

01:01:55.000 You know, just in case you've got to get to work and stuff.

01:01:59.000 Yeah, but there's fewer places to get diesel, but you're right, I think it does store longer.

01:02:05.000 Yeah, you could put it, like my heating tanks, I could run my heating fuel as diesel fuel.

01:02:12.000 And you can put in... Well, you know, diesel has historically been less than regular gasoline, but now it's more.

01:02:19.000 Yeah, I know you don't have the time like I do, but I go to... I get Chinese used cooking oil, and I've been running it in an old Mercedes station wagon right now.

01:02:28.000 Really?

01:02:28.000 It's working well for you?

01:02:30.000 It's running great.

01:02:31.000 I just started it about a month ago.

01:02:36.000 Well, gas prices are going to be going down because George Bush is on the job.

01:02:40.000 He's investigating.

01:02:43.000 He's investigating, so everything's going to be okay now.

01:02:46.000 He had a weasel in the henhouse, yes.

01:02:48.000 Yes, the chief weasel is investigating the foxes.

01:02:53.000 I just figured that might be a good alternative for you to get a diesel car or truck.

01:02:59.000 They're very clean.

01:03:00.000 They're burning very cleaner now, the newer ones and stuff.

01:03:02.000 Oh, I've seen a lot of diesel cars and trucks driving around, and they're not belching that black smoke like they were a few years ago.

01:03:09.000 No, they go to zero to sixty in, you know, like seven seconds.

01:03:13.000 Mercedes really has their act together on diesel. 1.00

01:03:16.000 Well, I don't think I'll be buying a Mercedes anytime soon.

01:03:18.000 Jeep Liberty, four-wheel drive?

01:03:20.000 Yeah, I don't drive cars quite that fancy.

01:03:24.000 I just want good transportation.

01:03:26.000 Listen, I appreciate your call.

01:03:27.000 Interesting discussion.

01:03:28.000 We'll come back and go to our guest, the politics of heroin, CIA complicity in the global drug trade, Alfred W. McCoy, historian.

01:03:37.000 We're honored to have him with us.

01:03:39.000 And we'll get into some more of the crimes of this government and the private corporations that service it and control it on the other side.

01:06:01.000 No, John, I didn't rob Bill Gates.

01:06:03.000 What I did do is visit the website www.DidYouRobBillGates.com.

01:06:49.000 Next time, you'll be buying me lunch.

01:06:51.000 Deal.

01:06:54.000 From his Central Texas Command Center, deep behind enemy lines, the information war continues.

01:07:00.000 It's Alex Jones and the GCN Radio Network.

01:07:05.000 All right, my friends, now well into the second hour.

01:07:11.000 It's the Genesis Communications Radio Network.

01:07:14.000 In just a minute or two, we'll be talking to author, professor, historian, Alfred W. McCoy.

01:07:23.000 The founding dynasties that run our country today, the Skull and Bones outfit in 1832, was openly and publicly set up with opium money.

01:07:35.000 And they controlled this trade, the lognum trade, the snake oil trade, for really the next hundred years, and then they lost their monopoly as more companies began shipping it in.

01:07:46.000 And so, these very dynasties that had made their fortunes and become very politically powerful from drug money, then began to try to criminalize drugs, not to stop drugs from flowing in, but to be able to control the police forces that they'd bought and paid for, to go after their competition.

01:08:06.000 About making drugs illegal, the prices then of course of black market rates skyrocketed.

01:08:13.000 And then we fast forward to Vietnam.

01:08:15.000 Imagine, secrecy, the CIA, all the aircraft they controlled, right in the middle of the greatest saturation of poppy-producing, opium-producing growth centers.

01:08:29.000 And then floods of it hitting the United States and Europe, and then of course after the valiant invasion in 2001-2002 of Afghanistan, we've seen a many-fold increase to record levels of opium that is then turned into heroin, pouring into Eastern Europe, Western Europe, and the United States.

01:08:51.000 Oh, but the government, they wear nice fancy military uniforms.

01:08:55.000 They wear $3,000 suits.

01:08:57.000 They go to church every Sunday.

01:08:58.000 They wouldn't do that. 0.99

01:09:00.000 And then if your children are dumb enough to use their drugs, the very industries that control the private prisons are funded with laundered drug money. 0.99

01:09:08.000 They then arrest your children. 0.98

01:09:10.000 They then arrest your family members and put them in these prisons where they then work for 20 cents an hour displacing American workers. 0.66

01:09:17.000 So the drug dealers, the military industrial complex and its private controllers are making money and getting control at every level.

01:09:26.000 But that's my view historically on it.

01:09:28.000 Many years ago I read, or I should be more honest, I scanned through, it's I don't know how many pages, almost 600 plus, the politics of heroin, CIA complicity in the global drug trade.

01:09:43.000 Alfred W. McCoy is a noted historian and current professor of history in the Center for Southeast Asian Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

01:09:51.000 He received an undergraduate degree from Columbia University and his Ph.D.

01:09:54.000 in Southeastern Asian History from Yale University.

01:09:58.000 And, of course, he primarily researches and writes about the Philippines' history and the Golden Triangle drug trades of opium and heroin.

01:10:05.000 And his Politics of Heroin in Southeast Asia was a landmark work documenting how the CIA aided, abetted, and controlled the drug trade for its own enrichment and geopolitical purposes.

01:10:16.000 And he's now come out with a brand new book, which I can't wait to read, A Question of Torture, CIA Interrogation from the Cold War to the War on Terror, 2006.

01:10:25.000 And we have links to how to get the book up on InfoWars.com.

01:10:30.000 Professor McCoy, it's a great honor to have you with us, sir.

01:10:33.000 Mr. Jones, a pleasure to be with you.

01:10:35.000 Please break down how you first discovered the narcotics trades, connections to the elite in this country, the Anglo-American establishment, and maybe go back even before the sixties if you'd like to, to some of its roots, and I'd like to talk about the politics of heroin, and then I want to spend the second half of the interview talking about your new book.

01:10:58.000 Sure.

01:10:59.000 First of all, perspective on it and my historiography, my analytical explanation for why this happens is more impersonal and less personalized than your own.

01:11:10.000 What I try and do is track the impersonal historical forces, bureaucratic, geopolitical, sometimes even ecological, that constantly make opium and heroin and even cocaine parts of CIA-covered operations since the start of the Cold War.

01:11:30.000 And if I could explain what happened historically.

01:11:34.000 In 1948, in one of history's supreme ironies, the Iron Curtain came crashing down along the Asian Opium Zone, which at that point stretched for 5,000 miles from Turkey across to Thailand.

01:11:48.000 And throughout the next 40 years of the Cold War, the CIA probed the soft underbelly of communism And they mounted periodic covert operations.

01:12:02.000 And in each one of these operations, they were mobilizing tribal mercenaries or militia in remote highland regions where they were under the control of ethnic warlords.

01:12:14.000 And so with Burma in the 1950s, Laos in the 1960s, and Afghanistan from 1979 to 1992, and then most recently since 2001, the CIA mounted these periodic covered operations.

01:12:26.000 In each case, the local warlord used the CIA's arms, logistics, and above all, political protection to be transformed into a powerful drug lord.

01:12:39.000 And in each case, the CIA's priority, above all, was the covered operation.

01:12:44.000 They suffered, in each case, from what I call mission myopia.

01:12:48.000 They were focused on getting the job done, and they ignored the downstream consequences of their alliance with non-powerful drug lords, and they're covering up for that drug lord.

01:12:58.000 And the net result was that today, the three major sources of illicit opium and heroin in the world today, Afghanistan, Burma, and Laos, in that order, The three former CIA covert warfare battlegrounds and that's that's that's that's that's causal that's just not a coincidence.

01:13:19.000 Now the politics of that persists right to the present.

01:13:22.000 In October 2001 when the CIA decided to mount an operation to overthrow the Taliban government in Afghanistan, instead of sending in conventional US military forces for formal conquest and occupation, what we did was we sent in 70 million dollars In smaller bills.

01:13:43.000 We helicoptered that in.

01:13:45.000 And the Afghan travel warlords whom we fought with in the war against the Soviet Union, they broke open their arsenals, they armed their fighters, and they overthrew the Taliban, backed by U.S.

01:13:56.000 air power, in a matter of weeks.

01:13:58.000 That created, of course, a political vacuum across the whole of Afghanistan.

01:14:03.000 And these former provincial warlords had been driven out of power by the Taliban, swept across the country, and picked up where they left off.

01:14:11.000 They re-imposed the drug trade, and in 2000, 2001, Afghanistan had produced about 180 tons of opium.

01:14:17.000 Within a year, it was up over 2,000 tons, and today it's around the 4,000 ton mark.

01:14:19.000 180 tons of opium.

01:14:21.000 Within a year, it was up over 2,000 tons, and today it's around the 4,000 ton mark.

01:14:28.000 So it's gone from 180 tons under the Taliban to about 4,000 tons under the current Karzai government.

01:14:34.000 Now, sir, I'd like to go back to the customer for just a moment, because in every operation, take Gladio, and I'm digressing for the listeners, oh, the Soviets are going to take over, and they're staging terror attacks in Europe. 0.86

01:14:47.000 To blame it on us, so we've got to stage terror attacks to blame it on them.

01:14:50.000 We've got to become more evil than the devil to defeat the devil.

01:14:54.000 Oh my gosh, the Soviets are going to come in and use the drug trade to fund them, the red drug trade. 0.97

01:15:01.000 We've got to go in and make friends with all these people in this multi-thousand, five-thousand mile belt of opium production that you talked about from Turkey into Southeast Asia, Indochina.

01:15:12.000 All of this happens, and oh, we've got to put in our drug dealers, or support our local tribes, so that they can be a bulwark against communism, and I'm a top general, or I'm a CI operative, I might as well make a few hundred million dollars for myself, but it's for America, and then they've got the nerve back here at home to kick down our doors looking for drugs that they helped bring into this country to begin with.

01:15:36.000 The contradictions in that area became Most apparent, okay, where we're, you know, oftentimes, they became most apparent during the Contra operation.

01:15:45.000 Look, let me, sort of like, let's take the Afghan operation.

01:15:49.000 The dots get pretty distant, so that connecting them sometimes becomes a bit of a stretch.

01:15:54.000 Now, during the Afghan operation from 1979 to 1992, here's how the traffic operated.

01:16:00.000 Mujahideen fighters and their families in the liberated zones inside the Soviet occupied Afghanistan.

01:16:08.000 Uh, were ordered to plant a revolutionary tax in the form of opium.

01:16:11.000 They delivered that to the Mujahideen commanders who shipped it across the border into the Northwest Frontier province of Pakistan.

01:16:18.000 They are operating under the protection of ISI, Pakistani Inter-Service Intelligence, the CIA's ally.

01:16:25.000 Uh, the traffickers transformed the heroin, uh, opium into heroin.

01:16:30.000 Now, the next problem was that these were not well-connected criminal organizations.

01:16:33.000 These were fanatical Muslim fighters.

01:16:35.000 This was Pakistani military intelligence.

01:16:37.000 So, who could broker the drugs for them?

01:16:40.000 Well, they turned to the Sissian Mafia. 0.66

01:16:43.000 Not the American Mafia, but the Sissian Mafia.

01:16:46.000 And that was in the 1980s.

01:16:47.000 You got the so-called Pizza Connection cases of nice, middle-aged Sissian immigrant couples running pizza parlors from Boston, Massachusetts to Milton, Wisconsin.

01:16:56.000 Being arrested, charged, and convicted for using a pizza parlor as a front to distribute this Pakistan-Afghani heroin that was coming into the country.

01:17:04.000 So, you know, the connections are pretty indirect, okay?

01:17:10.000 From the pizza parlors right to the poppy fields.

01:17:13.000 But in Central America during the same period, the connections were far more direct, okay?

01:17:20.000 Geography changed the situation and made the contradictions in this covert warfare policy for the first time really clear.

01:17:29.000 It was very simple.

01:17:30.000 What happened was this.

01:17:31.000 The CIA needed a forward logistics base for the shipment of arms into the frontline areas of Honduras.

01:17:39.000 And they formed a working alliance with the top drug trafficker in the Caribbean, a man named Alan Hyde.

01:17:47.000 At the time that the CIA formed its alliance with him in the mid-1980s, he was known as a Class A Violator.

01:17:54.000 There were intelligence files on him in the possession of Customs, the U.S.

01:17:58.000 Defense Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the CIA.

01:18:02.000 In short, the entire U.S.

01:18:03.000 intelligence community knew that this guy was the biggest cocaine smuggler in the Caribbean.

01:18:08.000 He even had, among his 35 ships on the high seas, moving cocaine from Colombia Across the Caribbean in the United States.

01:18:15.000 He had one ship on consignment from the Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar. 0.98

01:18:19.000 In other words, this guy was dirty and everybody knew he was dirty.

01:18:22.000 We formed an alliance and from roughly 1987 to 1992, he was protected from any investigation at the same time he was flooding our country with heroin.

01:18:32.000 Now, at that point... Sorry, with cocaine.

01:18:35.000 At that point, the contradiction... I'll tell you what, Professor, we've got a break.

01:18:40.000 Stay right there and we'll come right back to you after this quick break.

01:18:43.000 We're talking to Alfred W. McCoy, one of the preeminent experts on our government shipping and narcotics.

01:22:51.000 Professor Alfred W. McCoy is our guest.

01:22:58.000 He's got a new book out on torture.

01:23:00.000 The Question of Torture, CIA Interrogation from the Cold War to the War on Terror.

01:23:05.000 We could have him on for three hours.

01:23:07.000 But he's flying out to Germany here in just a few hours.

01:23:10.000 Just about the drug trade.

01:23:12.000 But I want to get into torture some too.

01:23:15.000 Boiling it down, sir, I mean, I've got photos here in your book when you're in Southeast Asia, you know, with some of the tribes, some of the biggest drug dealers.

01:23:22.000 They're on record, I've seen them in video interviews admitting that they're biggest buyers of the U.S.

01:23:26.000 government.

01:23:27.000 How did you get into Southeast Asia?

01:23:29.000 I mean, you've got a lot of bravery.

01:23:30.000 Well, during the Vietnam War, Mosul Isles was a free-fire zone.

01:23:37.000 So, what I did was, I just flew into Vientiane on a standard commercial flight.

01:23:44.000 I was going around the world.

01:23:45.000 I made one and a half laps around the globe, tracking the heroin trail from Europe and Southeast Asia into the United States.

01:23:53.000 First, the French Connection.

01:23:55.000 Second of all, the Golden Triangle drug trade.

01:23:58.000 And first of all, the way that that was decimating the U.S.

01:24:03.000 Army in Vietnam.

01:24:05.000 So, in order to track the heroin trail, I first of all went to Vietnam and I studied the distribution of drugs and I found that there were three dominant syndicates in control of drug traffic in South Vietnam.

01:24:16.000 They were controlled by the three top people in the South Vietnamese government and their military acolytes.

01:24:23.000 And at every fire base and club and barracks across the whole of South Vietnam, Uh, heroin was available.

01:24:32.000 It was incredibly pure, incredibly cheap.

01:24:35.000 And think about how immoral that is, addicting our servicemen to this.

01:24:39.000 Oh yeah, that's how you support the troops.

01:24:41.000 Is it safe to say that much of the Vietnam War, even back to the French trying to stay there, was about continuing to control the opium?

01:24:50.000 Uh, no.

01:24:51.000 Yes and no.

01:24:55.000 The visible conflict, of course, was for control of the political destiny in the government of Vietnam.

01:24:59.000 And oil.

01:25:01.000 At that point, there wasn't much.

01:25:06.000 But the drugs were an important part of the covert warfare, of the maneuvering by intelligence agencies in order to get the money, in order to mobilize and become this coalition.

01:25:20.000 By 1971, about 34% of all American servicemen serving in Vietnam were heroin addicts.

01:25:27.000 That's one-third of the U.S.

01:25:28.000 Army fighting in Vietnam.

01:25:29.000 By my calculations, there were at that point probably more American heroin addicts in the U.S.

01:25:35.000 Army in South Vietnam than there were in the entire United States.

01:25:38.000 All of them were supplied by our Southeast Asian allies.

01:25:41.000 So, having studied the distribution in South Vietnam, I went north into Laos and I simply hitchhiked up The Highway into the Hills, and then I got off with an interpreter and photographer. 0.96

01:25:52.000 We hiked through the hills, and we went into opium-producing villages, and we went farm to farm, house to house, and we asked the farmers how much they grew and how they marketed, and it was a very consistent reply. 0.96

01:26:07.000 Each farm was producing about 5 to 10 kilograms of raw opium every year.

01:26:11.000 At the end of harvest, they took it down to the helipad.

01:26:14.000 Where Air America helicopters, the CIA's company, came in and landed and then militia officers, tribal militia officers in the CIA's secret army got off, paid cash for the opium, loaded the opium on the helicopters and flew off to the main CIA base at Long Chang.

01:26:31.000 And there were several heroin labs in the country, the largest heroin lab and with the most famous logo of all time.

01:26:40.000 was operated by the commander-in-chief of the Royal Laotian Army.

01:26:44.000 He got over 90% of his budget from USAID.

01:26:49.000 He had the world's largest heroin lab.

01:26:51.000 He was cranking out about 100 kilograms of pure heroin a week, and all of that was destined for US forces fighting in South Vietnam.

01:27:01.000 Now, we've got to kind of condense this, Professor, because we don't have a lot of time with you.

01:27:04.000 One more segment coming up.

01:27:05.000 Fast forwarding to cocaine in the 80s, I mean, I've interviewed so many DEA agents, so many CIA agents who were there unloading the cocaine or witnessing it, MENA, you name it.

01:27:17.000 It just makes the whole drug war a complete fraud that our government is fostering and controlling it.

01:27:23.000 Well, what happens, there is consistently a contradiction between fighting the cold war, now the war on terror, and fighting the drug war.

01:27:32.000 And every single time that the question has been called, Basically, what's happened is we've sacrificed the drug war in order to fight the Cold War, and now the war on terror.

01:27:43.000 In Afghanistan, the contradiction is just the latest instance.

01:27:48.000 Basically, look, at the peak of the cocaine epidemic, when Colombia was awash in the cartels, there were attacks on the Ministry of Justice.

01:27:57.000 Pablo Escobar's secretarios, his assassins, were cutting a swath of the society.

01:28:02.000 At peak, Cocaine only represented 3%, that's 1 to 3% of the gross national product of Colombia.

01:28:09.000 Today, according to UN estimates, opium and heroin account for 60%, 60% of gross national product in Afghanistan.

01:28:19.000 Okay?

01:28:19.000 So the provincial powers, the warlords that are fighting, supplying troops that are fighting alongside U.S.

01:28:24.000 soldiers, everybody in power, excluding President Karzai, Everybody's implicated in the traffic in Afghanistan.

01:28:32.000 Stay right there, sir.

01:28:33.000 I want to continue along this line and then it ties into your new book concerning torture.

01:28:38.000 We'll be right back.

01:28:43.000 We're on the march.

01:31:51.000 From his Central Texas Command Center, deep behind enemy lines, the information war continues.

01:32:02.000 It's Alex Jones and the GCN Radio Network.

01:32:08.000 We got about 18 minutes before our guest has got to leave us.

01:32:12.000 And I will take a call from Bill in Baltimore, maybe a few others specifically for Professor Alfred W. McCoy.

01:32:19.000 Professor, I've studied the elements of the government shipping and the drugs.

01:32:23.000 It's $250 billion plus industry a year in this country.

01:32:27.000 Meanwhile, they're pushing legal drugs on the children in the schools and adults.

01:32:31.000 It's a nightmare.

01:32:33.000 Just use your personal view on the drug war and where you see all this going in the future from your 30, 40 years of studying this.

01:32:41.000 Sure.

01:32:42.000 Illicit drugs have become a vast global commodity.

01:32:46.000 According to a UN study, the global illicit drug trade is now bigger than the trade in textiles, steel, or automobiles.

01:32:56.000 Okay?

01:32:58.000 It's about 8% of world trade.

01:33:00.000 It's become a powerful commodity that can corrupt police forces, transform weak governments into veritable narco-states. 0.93

01:33:10.000 And it's only going to get worse.

01:33:12.000 And the reason is very simple.

01:33:15.000 There is an inbuilt contradiction in the drug war.

01:33:19.000 We move about the globe, fighting the global drug trade in sectors.

01:33:23.000 We crack down on, let's say, opium production in Colombia.

01:33:28.000 We attack it in country by country, piece by piece.

01:33:31.000 What happens is very simple.

01:33:33.000 We move in and we defoliate, let's say, an opium crop in Mexico or Colombia or Burma, and we wipe out a portion of the production. 0.89

01:33:45.000 The demand, in fact, remains constant or it's actually going up.

01:33:49.000 That's like McDonald's knocking out Burger King.

01:33:51.000 They're just going up against their competition.

01:33:53.000 Well, no, it's a deeper... partly, but it goes like this, okay?

01:33:58.000 Demand is constant and going up.

01:34:01.000 There's a shortfall in supply.

01:34:03.000 That raises the global illicit price to farmers and traffickers around the globe.

01:34:08.000 So what happens in the next crop year is that Connected by the invisible tendrils of the illicit drug market, and the UN has actually found this to operate, okay?

01:34:18.000 That peasants in Laos will respond to a shortfall in supply in Colombia. 0.97

01:34:22.000 So elsewhere around the world, production goes up.

01:34:25.000 So every battle in the drug war produces increased production.

01:34:30.000 When we started the first of our drug wars, back in 1971 and the present, Nixon, global illicit drug production was about a thousand tons.

01:34:37.000 Today it's between five or six thousand.

01:34:40.000 And that five to six fold increase in the last 36 years has been due in large part to the drug war itself.

01:34:49.000 It's not only not working, in fact it's counterproductive.

01:34:53.000 It stimulates.

01:34:55.000 Each intervention, each prohibition stimulates production.

01:35:00.000 Okay?

01:35:00.000 And then more and more drugs flow into this country and we have a doomsday machine with mandatory minimums.

01:35:08.000 More police sweep the streets, they put more people in prison, and so it goes.

01:35:13.000 While the crisis is being created predominantly by our own government.

01:35:18.000 In part, yes, because of the, and not just our own government, by the UN as well.

01:35:22.000 This is supremely irrational policy.

01:35:25.000 Now I've gone to, I was last October, I was at a conference in Paris sponsored by the French Ministry of Defense.

01:35:33.000 And I got into a real no-holds-barred battle against the number two man in the U.N.

01:35:40.000 Office of Drugs and Crime, and he just simply refused to admit that the U.S.

01:35:46.000 and the U.N.

01:35:46.000 policy at its base is fundamentally irrational, that it's compounding the problem every day they do their job.

01:35:55.000 Now, what's the solution?

01:35:57.000 Well, you can't undo the entire prohibition regime of narcotics, because it's inbuilt into literally hundreds of of international treaties involving the world community and the United States as a part of those treaties.

01:36:09.000 It's got federal laws, state laws.

01:36:10.000 But what we can do in every state, state by state, is what the people of California have done.

01:36:15.000 They did Proposition 36.

01:36:17.000 All you do is you say something very simple.

01:36:19.000 You don't have to worry about it.

01:36:20.000 You say, drugs are a crime.

01:36:22.000 Now what's the penalty?

01:36:23.000 You simply say, mandatory treatment.

01:36:25.000 And that proposition has put tens of thousands of people, kept them out of the prisons, put them into Well, we've got to do it.

01:36:31.000 mandatory treatment, but they actually are getting treatment.

01:36:34.000 And they can live their lives in their own homes, work their jobs.

01:36:37.000 They've just got to go to their treatment program.

01:36:38.000 It's a very simple, intermediate solution.

01:36:42.000 It's not going to fix the problem.

01:36:44.000 That's beyond our capacity.

01:36:46.000 But Proposition 36, that works.

01:36:48.000 Gets us out of the whole drug war machine.

01:36:51.000 Well, we've got to do it.

01:36:53.000 Your new book, I mean, the horrors that we're now witnessing, John Yu, one of the lawyers in the White House, came out at a CFR meeting.

01:37:05.000 We've had the recording.

01:37:06.000 We've interviewed the professor that debated him and said, yeah, we're allowed to torture children sexually in front of their parents.

01:37:12.000 That's a good thing.

01:37:13.000 We have Alberto Gonzalez, now the Attorney General, when he was Chief White House Counsel, writing memos saying we can torture people to death if we just don't call it torture.

01:37:21.000 We have these black ops sites in Eastern Europe.

01:37:25.000 A CIA agent allegedly leaks that because you have to leak something that's criminal.

01:37:30.000 You have an obligation to do that.

01:37:33.000 They're now firing her, talking about arresting her. 0.99

01:37:36.000 Bush says he's above the law.

01:37:38.000 And then we have the former chief commander of Delta Force going public saying that they're torturing because Cheney likes it and it's to get false confessions.

01:37:46.000 Your new book A question of torture, CIA interrogation from the Cold War to the War on Terror.

01:37:53.000 Get into that for us, Professor.

01:37:54.000 Sure.

01:37:56.000 First of all, the CIA has, since the start of the Cold War, been engaged in the research and propagation of torture.

01:38:04.000 Right at the start of the Cold War, when the CIA was established in 1947.

01:38:09.000 There was a belief in Washington, and a solid belief, that the CIA had somehow cracked the code of human consciousness.

01:38:16.000 They had probed the mysteries of the human mind, and they had superior techniques for both mass propaganda, individual interrogation, and even programming assassins.

01:38:26.000 Our ignorance of the dynamics of human consciousness back then were profound.

01:38:32.000 And out of fear, the CIA, right from the start, was authorized to conduct research and to engage in torture.

01:38:39.000 And the CIA conducted two kinds of research.

01:38:42.000 Everybody's heard about the CIA drug experiments, the LSD, party houses, and all the rest, okay?

01:38:48.000 That was one part of a program to crack the Code of Human Consciousness, which at peak in the 1950s reached a billion dollars a year and involved literally hundreds of secret research projects.

01:39:04.000 Now, what happened was the CIA did most of the drug research in-house.

01:39:08.000 And within a decade, the CIA established that all of the exotic techniques, hypnosis, electroshock, and drugs, both sodium pentothal, and LSD, and THC, marijuana, none of it worked.

01:39:24.000 That didn't work.

01:39:25.000 But they outsourced the boring behavioral research to the country's top universities, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and others.

01:39:33.000 And the nation's most brilliant behavioral scientists came up with a new form of torture, the first real breakthrough in the cruel science of pain in centuries.

01:39:44.000 And they discovered psychological torture founded on two basic techniques, sensory disorientation and self-inflicted pain.

01:39:54.000 When you look at those Abu Ghraib photos, all you see time and again is a repetition of these two foundational CIA torture techniques.

01:40:02.000 Let's take that most famous most iconic of all the Abu Ghraib photos.

01:40:06.000 The man standing on the box, hooded, arms extended, fake electrical wires hanging from his arms, okay?

01:40:11.000 He's hooded for sensory disorientation.

01:40:13.000 He's standing for self-inflicted pain.

01:40:16.000 Those are the two basic CIA psychological techniques.

01:40:19.000 To that we've added attack on agricultural sensitivity, on the war on terror.

01:40:24.000 Alright, now, the CIA propagated that within the US intelligence community.

01:40:31.000 They had it codified by 1963.

01:40:33.000 And then for the next 30 years, right to the end of the Cold War, they propagated within the U.S.

01:40:37.000 intelligence community, and they trained allied agencies around the globe in these techniques.

01:40:43.000 At the same time... Well, look at the School of America!

01:40:47.000 That was one of actually the... That's a part of a thing called Project X. From 1966 to 1991, the U.S.

01:40:54.000 Army Intelligence Command ran a thing called Project X, which is a top-secret project to transmit the lessons learned in counterinsurgency and interrogation From South Vietnam to Latin America.

01:41:05.000 And there were three ways of doing this.

01:41:06.000 First of all, they had the School of America.

01:41:08.000 Second, they had mobile U.S.

01:41:09.000 Army training teams.

01:41:10.000 And third, they had a mail-order course that literally sent out thousands of manuals instructing, all written in Spanish, with complete curriculum in interrogation.

01:41:21.000 With techniques that, upon review in 1991 by the Defense Department, found that many of the techniques were outrageously illegal.

01:41:28.000 Violations of both international and U.S.

01:41:30.000 law.

01:41:31.000 All of those manuals were recalled.

01:41:32.000 The thousands of them all were destroyed.

01:41:34.000 He took a single file copy.

01:41:35.000 But nonetheless, for 25 years, we disseminated those techniques.

01:41:38.000 Now, under the Bush administration, what's changed?

01:41:41.000 Something has happened since Albuquerque.

01:41:42.000 Something that's very different.

01:41:44.000 We had this, what I call, cultural contradiction throughout the Cold War.

01:41:47.000 On the one hand, we We were one of the authors of the Geneva Conventions.

01:41:51.000 We were one of the authors of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

01:41:54.000 Both of these banned torture very explicitly, okay?

01:41:58.000 So we were leaders in the global campaign to abolish torture.

01:42:02.000 At the same time, we were secretly, covertly practicing it, okay?

01:42:06.000 Now, under the Bush administration, once the Abu Ghraib photos came out, the Bush administration decided that they would, in fact, conduct an historic change.

01:42:15.000 That they would embrace torture.

01:42:17.000 They would make it a formal weapon in the arsenal of American power. 0.81

01:42:22.000 And this is a fundamental change.

01:42:24.000 And this has sparked a profound political battle in this country.

01:42:27.000 Well, the incredible thing is, while at first saying, hey, we're allowed to do this to keep you safe, trying to sell it to us, They would then instruct the military to hold court-martials with tribunals and send people to prison who, and I've interviewed Janice Karpinski and others, who were barred from going into those CIA-controlled wings.

01:42:48.000 And then they'd even try to burn her when she wasn't involved, knowing that if they prosecuted someone who was innocent, she'd be found innocent and that'd be a good whitewash. 0.68

01:42:55.000 But I mean, certainly, sir, you've written a book about it.

01:42:57.000 I haven't read your new book yet, but I hope to.

01:43:01.000 I mean, can you comment on John Hughes' psychopathic statements, Alberto Gonzales?

01:43:05.000 I mean, once you accept torture, I guess we can expect that it will go to Joseph Mingala style, we're going to torture kids if we want to.

01:43:14.000 It actually revolves around one technique, okay?

01:43:19.000 In 1994, when the United States ratified the UN Convention Against Torture, the basic document, What we did was is we sent, President Clinton sent that treaty to Congress and he included in that four paragraphs of diplomatic so-called reservations, which is to say we ratify the treaty except this.

01:43:39.000 When you read those exceptions carefully and you compare them to the CIA's psychological torture techniques, which they had developed and propagated for the previous 30 years at such great expense, what you realize is what we did is we split the treaty down the middle.

01:43:51.000 We said physical torture with all its brutality is illegal.

01:43:55.000 But we reserve the right to engage in psychological torture.

01:43:58.000 We do not consider psychological torture to be torture.

01:44:02.000 And so when you look at all the techniques that are used at Guantanamo, all the enhanced techniques that have been authorized by the Bush administration for the CIA, they're all psychological torture.

01:44:12.000 Psychological torture is very elusive, very deceptive, very difficult to discern.

01:44:16.000 Why?

01:44:16.000 Because when it's physical torture, there are clear marks.

01:44:19.000 There is a vast biomedical literature Doctors can stand up in court and say, that bruise means the following was done.

01:44:26.000 That is a level of pain that's not just inhumane, that's torture.

01:44:30.000 But when it's in the mind, it's invisible.

01:44:32.000 See, there's no standard.

01:44:34.000 Lieutenant General Randall Schmidt of the U.S.

01:44:37.000 Army investigated Guantanamo for the Pentagon.

01:44:40.000 He reported to Congress last summer.

01:44:43.000 And what he said, look, he said, when it's physical, it's very clear.

01:44:46.000 When it's psychological, it's unclear.

01:44:48.000 And he reviewed The torture that was inflicted upon the so-called 20th hijacker who was held at Guantanamo, a man named Muhammad Al-Qahtani.

01:44:57.000 He found that he was subjected to 160 days of total isolation.

01:45:02.000 He was subjected to colds so extreme he had to be hospitalized. 0.88

01:45:06.000 He was subjected to psychological abuse, guards screaming at him that his mother and sister were whores, dogs that growled at him, water thrown on him, ladies undergarments on his head. 0.96

01:45:16.000 He was totally attacked. 0.90

01:45:17.000 General Schmidt said that the sum of this was not torture.

01:45:20.000 He said it was, however, inhumane.

01:45:22.000 Okay?

01:45:22.000 Which is a lower standard of abuse.

01:45:24.000 Now, Professor, at the same time, that's the stuff they're admitting to.

01:45:28.000 Now, we know they've beaten people to death.

01:45:31.000 We know they use dogs.

01:45:32.000 We know they table them, putting their head underwater.

01:45:34.000 We know they're killing people at these secret sites.

01:45:37.000 I mean, if this is the stuff that we know about, how much worse does it get?

01:45:42.000 Oh, I think we know how bad it is.

01:45:45.000 I mean, that's about it.

01:45:46.000 I mean... Well, why would you... I mean, are you aware of what John Yoo, White House Counsel, said?

01:45:50.000 Yeah, I know. 0.94

01:45:51.000 He's made extreme statements throughout... Torturing children sexually. 0.91

01:45:55.000 I mean, publicly. 0.80

01:45:57.000 Because that's in the realm of psychological torture.

01:46:00.000 It's...

01:46:01.000 We haven't prohibited that.

01:46:02.000 But I mean, what's wrong with these people?

01:46:05.000 That's so alien to me!

01:46:07.000 Or you, I mean, I mean... Anybody who investigates this, okay?

01:46:11.000 For example, Guantanamo, which is done by CIA and military at Guantanamo formally, alright?

01:46:18.000 And it's all very elaborate psychological torture.

01:46:22.000 The International Cross made repeated visits to Guantanamo from 2002 to 2004, and they said that this system is torture.

01:46:32.000 The UN Human Rights Commission in February of this year delivered a report in which they interviewed people who had been released from Guantanamo and talked to them in detail about their treatment. 0.94

01:46:44.000 What about menstruating prostitutes raping these men? 0.99

01:46:49.000 Well, yes, that's part of the psychological technique. 0.99

01:46:52.000 But what they worked out was that they believe that Arab males are particularly vulnerable to sexual identity and to gender identity.

01:47:00.000 So they attacked them.

01:47:01.000 And they've also gone further.

01:47:03.000 They now have military psychologists that actually review the medical files.

01:47:07.000 So this is open mind control?

01:47:08.000 observation.

01:47:09.000 So this is open mind control.

01:47:11.000 It's absolutely explicit.

01:47:13.000 Okay, now, Kofi Annan, the Secretary General of the United Nations, has in a historic statement called on the United States to close Guantanamo.

01:47:21.000 The European Parliament has closed, called on Guantanamo.

01:47:24.000 But meanwhile, a bunch of European countries are accepting the intelligence and helping with the rendition flights.

01:47:28.000 Of course, and that's why there's this investigation by Dick Markey, by the Council of Europe, that produces these wimpy reports because because they're caught in the contradiction as well.

01:47:40.000 Because the rendition flights and the black sites that were definitely in Poland may have been in Romania, that those are total violations of the European Charter of Human Rights.

01:47:53.000 If they actually found that Poland had a black site, Poland would have to be suspended from the EU.

01:47:58.000 So what you've got is the EU as a body has a very strict prohibition of human rights abuse, but the individual sovereign states have been working with the United States in these techniques and tactics, and there is the contradiction.

01:48:10.000 All right, Professor, I wanted to take a call or two, but... One last point, okay?

01:48:15.000 Well, I was about to say, we're out of time, we're breaking in one minute, you can have the last... Here's the last point.

01:48:20.000 It doesn't work.

01:48:23.000 It doesn't work.

01:48:23.000 There's another form of torture practiced by the FBI called empathetic interrogation, developed by the Marine Corps in World War II, Practice in the FBI sense, it is effective.

01:48:34.000 Torture doesn't work.

01:48:35.000 You get information, but it's polluted information.

01:48:37.000 Most of it's bad information.

01:48:39.000 It's useless.

01:48:41.000 It doesn't.

01:48:41.000 Well, that's what the generals and interrogators have said.

01:48:44.000 Plus, you become evil when you start torturing.

01:48:46.000 Of course.

01:48:48.000 You know, the greatest... Let me say this, though, Professor.

01:48:51.000 Torture works if you're wanting false confessions to use for political aims.

01:48:56.000 Yeah, that you can get.

01:48:57.000 You will get...

01:49:00.000 Al-Libi telling you that Saddam Hussein trained Al-Qaeda in weapons of mass destruction so that Colin Powell can stand up in front of the UN and say we have verified intelligence saying that. 0.99

01:49:11.000 But any fool knows you don't listen to evidence garnered from torture. 0.98

01:49:15.000 Everybody knows it's worthless. 0.99

01:49:17.000 Of course, every professional interrogator will tell you that torture is useless.

01:49:21.000 You have to establish empathy.

01:49:23.000 And then, if your troops get captured, they get tortured, what can you say?

01:49:27.000 That's exactly it.

01:49:29.000 Furthermore... Well, Professor, if you want to finish in the last five minutes of this hour, you can.

01:49:33.000 If you've got to go catch that plane, go ahead.

01:49:35.000 It's your call.

01:49:35.000 I've got to go, sir.

01:49:36.000 Okay, thank you for joining us.

01:49:37.000 Can we have you back home when you get back?

01:49:38.000 Indeed, yeah.

01:49:39.000 I'll be back next Monday, so you can certainly have me.

01:49:41.000 I want to get ready.

01:49:41.000 Okay, Alfred W. McCoy, Professor, thank you.

01:49:43.000 Thank you very much, Alex.

01:49:44.000 Take care.

01:54:30.000 My book, Paul Washington's book, PrisonPlanet.TV.

01:54:33.000 Right now, let's go to Bill in Baltimore.

01:54:35.000 Sorry you couldn't talk to the professor, we ran out of time, but you had a comment about government drug dealing.

01:54:40.000 I've got a ton of comments, but like you probably do, Alex, you've got a ton of friends and listeners.

01:54:47.000 But I'm in Baltimore, and go to Google your hundred and nine billion dollar friend, type in Baltimore Heroin Town, you get an old heroin town, one in ten residents of Baltimore is addicted to heroin.

01:54:59.000 Type in statistics on vacant housing in Baltimore.

01:55:05.000 46,000 houses are vacant.

01:55:09.000 And my other question would be on legitimacy in government.

01:55:15.000 You know, if we're talking about a big agency that's got a black budget and very little public review or very little oversight, how legitimate is that agency?

01:55:26.000 I mean, we know people that Do their jobs are legitimate for the government, but what about... Well, sir, here's another example.

01:55:35.000 They have a...

01:55:38.000 receptor blocker that cures people of opiate use a hundred percent, but no one tells anyone about it.

01:55:45.000 It's very safe.

01:55:45.000 Instead they put them on methadone, which is just another form of addiction.

01:55:49.000 The government ships it in and uses it to turn America into a police state.

01:55:53.000 No debating it!

01:55:54.000 The government controls the majority of the narcotics and the very same military-industrial complex then is pushing the Ritalin, the Prozac, all the rest of the legal drugs.

01:56:02.000 It's a sick joke.

01:56:04.000 We've got to decriminalize now.

01:56:06.000 That's very true and we're just 35 minutes from the nation's capital and about an hour from the CIA and we pay taxes and a lot of times you know you see a lot of monkey business going right on next to the police station.

01:56:22.000 or in the neighborhood, but they would talk to it, which is good.

01:56:25.000 Listen, people have a chemical problem.

01:56:28.000 People get addicted.

01:56:29.000 Thanks for the call.

01:56:30.000 And then what makes it so dirty and criminal is that when you make drugs illegal, it adds a bunch of money into it.

01:56:36.000 And so then people who are criminals, who'd be robbing banks or doing something else, they move into the drug trades.

01:56:43.000 So these are real criminals, in many cases, that are going to prison and getting in trouble. 0.99

01:56:47.000 And so the media looks at this, shows you the scum, and says, see, drugs are bad. 0.98

01:56:53.000 But most of the people going to prison are just the innocent users. 1.00

01:56:57.000 It's a sick joke.

01:56:57.000 The war on drugs is only going to get bigger.

01:57:00.000 It's just going to get worse and worse and worse.

01:57:02.000 And we use more drugs than anybody else in the world.

01:57:05.000 There's a reason.

01:57:05.000 Our government ships them in, and they run the drug war.

01:57:09.000 And the bigger the drug war gets, the more drugs, the more abuse, the more use, the more everything!

01:57:13.000 Simple!

01:57:16.000 Ron and Bill, you're up next.

01:57:18.000 Ron and David, you're up next.

01:57:19.000 We'll get to both of you in the next segment.

01:57:22.000 And we've got Larry Pratt joining us for about 30 minutes, and then a bunch of other news I haven't even gotten to yet.

01:57:28.000 You'll want to stay with us as we start the third hour.

01:57:33.000 If you would like a copy of this show, come to GCNlive.com and reserve it today, or call toll-free 877-376-45.

01:57:38.000 Big Brother.

01:57:38.000 Mainstream media.

01:57:39.000 Government cover-ups.

01:57:44.000 Big Brother.

01:57:50.000 Mainstream media.

01:57:51.000 Government cover-ups.

01:57:53.000 You want answers?

01:57:55.000 Well, so does he.

01:57:56.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

01:58:01.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.

01:58:06.000 Larry Pratt, who checks in with us routinely.

01:58:09.000 Got some really important news on the Second Amendment front.

01:58:12.000 Horrible new raft of legislation and regulations coming up.

01:58:16.000 Right now, let's go to Ron in New York.

01:58:19.000 Ron, you're on the air.

01:58:20.000 Welcome.

01:58:21.000 Hello, Alex.

01:58:22.000 Hello, Ron.

01:58:22.000 There are a number of things I want to touch on today.

01:58:24.000 They're different things, but I think they're important.

01:58:28.000 First off, in Europe, I understand they have an EU Commissioner of Transportation who has mandated that by 2009, all cars in Europe are not just to have the tracking devices that we're familiar with, GPS, they're going to have that.

01:58:46.000 But these devices will be able to tell things like amount of pressure on a seat and so forth, and they're hiding it under the, uh, you know, the rubric of, oh, well, we're doing this because of safety and there are accidents.

01:58:58.000 Now, if that, if they were being in earnest, which they're not in any event, why would these devices be calibrated to register even so much as the pressure caused by a simple fender bender?

01:59:10.000 Well, for those who don't know, it's going to be coming in here, it's going in there, transponders, license plate scanners, it's just total and complete control, big brother on steroids, and it's a control grid.

01:59:26.000 They're out to turn us into human cattle.

01:59:28.000 It really is as simple as that.

01:59:32.000 Now, they got a grant from the federal government, Homeland Security, and they're going to be sticking hundreds of cameras into Lola, Manhattan.

01:59:40.000 But now we find out that in addition to that terrible thing, they're also getting a grant for something that the local authorities are calling, very enthusiastically, the Ring of Steel.

01:59:51.000 They're going to use federal funds to set up checkpoints.

01:59:54.000 Oh yeah, they brag.

01:59:55.000 They're going to have checkpoints everywhere searching New Yorkers.

01:59:57.000 They're going to have billions in cameras.

01:59:59.000 No, no, the whole city will be a massive prison.

02:00:02.000 It'll be an East Berlin-type city, an old East Berlin-type city.

02:00:06.000 Checkpoints with guards, barbed wire, and cement barriers.

02:00:10.000 That's going to be every American city, every highway.

02:00:13.000 I remember 10 years ago reading federal plans, and Alex is a conspiracy theorist.

02:00:17.000 He says they're going to have machine gun nests and barbed wire, but... They'll look more like the Third Reich. 0.83

02:00:24.000 More than that, sir.

02:00:25.000 Men in black uniform, but the border will stay wide open.

02:00:29.000 It's like a castle where they lower the drawbridge but then have the castle guard go point their spears at women in bed.

02:00:37.000 That's right, who were within the castle.

02:00:39.000 Now, the third thing too, there was an interview with Rumsfeld, I think it was in 2004, somewhere thereabouts, in which a journalist had asked him a question, what would we do with the mental status of people if the United States was to be, you know, the victim of a nuclear attack?

02:00:55.000 Alright?

02:00:56.000 And you know, he actually said, well, we could handle that because we have atomized Prozac and atomized Valium.

02:01:04.000 He actually admitted, in other words, they'll dust you with Diamond Prozac and God knows what else.

02:01:09.000 The guy said that straight out.

02:01:11.000 They must be dusting us as it is.

02:01:13.000 Because I have to assume that from the way so many people are apathetic to the type of infringement upon their human dignity.

02:01:19.000 Sir, the Sunshine Project that researched this a few years ago found the documents where they admit every major city has hangars with military helicopters with actual opiate knockout gas ready to knock out entire cities.

02:01:33.000 That came straight from the man's mouth.

02:01:35.000 And lastly... When did you see that?

02:01:37.000 Um, that was reported, believe it or not, on George Norrie's show.

02:01:41.000 I believe that he was discussing it with, um, uh, what the heck is his name, Len?

02:01:47.000 Why can't I recall the name at the moment?

02:01:49.000 But he used to have a show himself on shortwave.

02:01:51.000 In which they both conceded.

02:01:52.000 Yeah, that was said.

02:01:54.000 That was said.

02:01:55.000 Just amazing.

02:01:57.000 Um, and lastly, you're going to have Larry Pratt on, good man that he is.

02:02:00.000 He may be aware of the fact that yesterday in this city, What calls himself a mayor really is nothing more than a patrician in the old feudal style, a multi-billionaire, held a conference of some sort in which he had mayors from other run-down industrial cities here to his mayoral mansion.

02:02:18.000 They call it Gracie Mansion.

02:02:20.000 And members of things like the Brady Group and so forth talking about new gun control strategies that they want to impose on the rest of the nation and other jurisdictions.

02:02:29.000 Look, look, Ron, it's simple.

02:02:31.000 A criminal syndicate's taking control and they're putting into effect laws that make us slaves.

02:02:35.000 It's really simple.

02:02:36.000 Thanks for the call.

02:02:37.000 I appreciate it.

02:02:38.000 We're out of time.

02:02:39.000 We'll get to David and others later, but Larry Pratt's coming up.

02:02:46.000 There is a secret that holds the world's destiny in its grasp.

02:03:43.000 Hello, folks.

02:03:46.000 Alex Jones here introducing you to the Black Berkey replacement element. 0.85

02:03:49.000 They're new and they're more powerful than any gravity filter element on the market.

02:03:52.000 These powerful filters fit most gravity filter systems and can be installed in minutes.

02:03:57.000 Black Berkey Replacement Elements are so powerful they remove pathogenic bacteria, cysts, parasites to non-detectable levels.

02:04:03.000 The trihalomethanes and volatile organic chemicals such as atrazine, styrene, chloroform, and MTBE are removed below detectable limits.

02:04:11.000 Black Berkey Filter Elements also reduce nitrates and unwanted metals such as lead, mercury and aluminum.

02:04:17.000 Get the Black Berkey Filter Elements, leave in the nutritional minerals that your body needs.

02:04:21.000 And the Black Berkey Filters are recleanable. 1.00

02:04:23.000 Simply brush them up with Scotch-Brite pads.

02:04:25.000 Normally $48 each, you get a 2-pack for only $91 or a 4-pack for only $173.

02:04:44.000 People who use Cartabite know about the pollutants in our body and want them out.

02:04:48.000 For over five years, Cartabite has proven itself time-tested.

02:04:52.000 Here's Dr. Matson, a naturopathic doctor's thoughts on Cartabite.

02:04:55.000 In our mind, there isn't such a great big mystery to disease anymore.

02:04:59.000 This basic tenet of yeast in the gut and metals in the liver covers at least 70-80% of the diseases that we've seen.

02:05:04.000 When we do our program, you know, in herbal formulas like cardivite and you see someone who could barely walk up a hill now going for regular jogs a few months later, we know we're doing something right.

02:05:14.000 It's a well thought out formula.

02:05:15.000 I mean, the idea of it working on yeast and metals both at the same time and liver function is dead on.

02:05:21.000 You'll find, I think, that it'll work more than just on heart problems and circulation problems.

02:05:26.000 It'll work on other problems as well.

02:05:43.000 He's the T-Rex of political talk.

02:05:47.000 Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

02:05:51.000 A lot of you will remember a few months ago I had one of the board members of the National Rifle Association on with us, Bob Barr, former congressman.

02:06:03.000 From Georgia.

02:06:05.000 And without even prompting, he said George Bush has been more anti-gun than Bill Clinton.

02:06:12.000 It was a very honest statement from the NRA who I normally attack as being basically a bunch of soft peddling creatures.

02:06:21.000 No, I support the membership, of course, of the NRA, but we have the National Director of the No Compromise Second Amendment Lobby, and that is Larry Pratt.

02:06:32.000 But Bob Barr was speaking with us about Bush using regulations, not even laws, to go after importation and try to enforce different gun laws.

02:06:41.000 He's doubled the size of the BATF, built a new big building for them.

02:06:45.000 So here to give us the good, the bad, and the ugly, there is some good, there is the bad, and there is the ugly truth, is Larry Pratt.

02:06:51.000 We're always honored to have him with us.

02:06:55.000 Larry, Do you agree with what Bob Barr said here a few months ago?

02:07:01.000 Yes, I'm glad that someone who has had the opportunity to serve in Congress and to be with the NRA with those kind of credentials is saying what he's saying and the point that the damage is being done by

02:07:17.000 regulation uh... is is absolutely correct there have been some uh... what i would call uh... avoidable uh... relatively minor losses coming out of the congress with trigger locks in a ban on a plastic gun it doesn't even exist uh... but the the real hurt is being done through the uh... bureau of alcohol back on firearms and Also, the Department of Homeland Security.

02:07:44.000 Let me start with them, if I could, because it's really kind of breathtaking when you consider what they're doing.

02:07:52.000 After 9-11, they're set up this huge, new, obviously inefficient bureaucracy.

02:07:56.000 I guess we should be grateful for that.

02:07:59.000 And, like Will Rogers used to say, thank God we don't get all the government we pay for.

02:08:04.000 Because it wouldn't be well-intended if we did.

02:08:06.000 And the first notion here in Washington, just about with everybody, was, well, we need to have another bureaucracy.

02:08:14.000 We need more government in order to handle the threat from 9-11.

02:08:17.000 Nobody was talking about, well, you know, we've had a problem on our borders for some time, and if terrorism's a problem, that's probably a pretty obvious place that we ought to take care of.

02:08:29.000 And the militia is something that's provided for in the Constitution.

02:08:32.000 If you look at Article 1, Section 8, which lists the few things, maybe a dozen and a half things, that the Congress is given to do, and pretty much that means the whole federal government, because if the Congress can't vote you some money or a law, then you're really not supposed to do anything.

02:08:49.000 The militia is something that's provided for Congress can appropriate money for the states to have militia or to increase their militia or whatever and it would seem to me that you could pass a whole bunch of money here in the in the federal city And you don't need a bureaucracy to write a check to the state of Arizona to put boots on the ground down on the border if they really wanted to.

02:09:15.000 It would be the cheapest thing.

02:09:16.000 Look at what the Minutemen are doing now on their own nickel.

02:09:20.000 Nobody's paying them.

02:09:21.000 They take their own time off from work.

02:09:24.000 This is their vacation.

02:09:25.000 By the way, Larry, I just...

02:09:28.000 A few days ago, last Friday, had the National Coordinator of the Minutemen, Al Garza, on and he said he's ready that most sheriffs on the border are already on their side, that the sheriffs could deputize them and put citizens on the border and even fight back against these Mexican troops that are routinely firing on them.

02:09:47.000 Well, I think that would be very much a step in the right direction, but I would certainly like to see the money be ideally taken out of Homeland Security's budget in just a big check written, no strings, just, you know, here it is Arizona, here it is New Mexico, here it is Texas.

02:10:03.000 I don't know what you do with California, but maybe put a wall around not only its southern border, but its eastern border as well.

02:10:13.000 In any case, I think what the Minutemen are doing is showing that the politicians don't have a clue, and if they do have a clue, then they simply don't want to fix the problem.

02:10:26.000 Because for them it's not a problem, obviously.

02:10:29.000 That's the way things work here.

02:10:31.000 But what I'm after, in particular, is to get the idea that the Homeland Security notion here in Washington Now, I'm not including gun owners of America, but the city's mentality is more government, not the people.

02:10:48.000 Not mobilizing individuals and getting them together in a relatively volunteer or a low-pay militia capacity, that which we had when our country was born.

02:10:59.000 But no, let's have the professionals do it. 0.94

02:11:01.000 The very people that we whooped when the King of England sent over a bunch of professionals.

02:11:07.000 professionals don't always have the best track record, and especially if they're given bad orders.

02:11:12.000 And I would think that the militia, whether they volunteer for the sheriff or whether they be in a state militia, they're going to do the job because their heart's in it.

02:11:21.000 We can see that their heart is in it.

02:11:23.000 I think that's why they're not being sent.

02:11:26.000 Anyway, they don't look at the Second Amendment, then, as something that provides for the people being involved in their own defense, even though that's the very plain notion of the Constitution, both the main body as well as the Second Amendment.

02:11:41.000 Well, then, just to quickly review, look at what they've done with air

02:11:46.000 travel they have done everything possible twice congress has passed legislation saying arm the pilots both times homeland security has said yeah over our dead body and they've made it virtually impossible and most of the pilots would like to be armed and most of them have decided it's not worth it uh... that the uh... uh... requirements are that sends the wrong message only the men in black uniforms with black masks that search you and shove you around can keep you safe you can't send the message

02:12:16.000 That as individuals we're supposed to defend ourselves and our family and our community.

02:12:21.000 I mean we're being held hostage.

02:12:23.000 I was just at the airport out in LA and they made me take my shoes off, walk across the floor where thousands of other people walked with all their athlete's foot and the rest of it.

02:12:32.000 I had that athlete's foot since I was in high school.

02:12:34.000 I got it from walking across the floor there.

02:12:37.000 There's no concern about that.

02:12:39.000 That's like making everybody basically lick a toilet seat.

02:12:42.000 I mean it's so bad. 0.96

02:12:44.000 They're at the airport, and they just love being goons, searching everyone. 0.98

02:12:48.000 This is meant to just train us how to be slaves. 0.69

02:12:50.000 That's right.

02:12:51.000 And I was just talking about the plan New York has for, quote, Fortress New York, where they're going to have machine gun nests and barbed wire checkpoints, searching everyone.

02:12:59.000 They know the TSA is now moving out with the Viper teams in Miami and Dallas and other areas, randomly searching people, walking down the street, but the border stays wide open.

02:13:09.000 I mean, we're turning into some nightmare Russia. 0.99

02:13:12.000 Their idea is that the people are the enemy, and the Constitution says no, the people are the solution.

02:13:20.000 And your point about the border remaining open while they look at us, the citizenry, as the enemy is absolutely correct. 0.99

02:13:29.000 It's as if there aren't a bunch of people out there who are dedicated to jihad.

02:13:34.000 And we'll do anything they can, and when you make it easy for them, walk across the border.

02:13:40.000 You know, I would like for us to have a southern border that's half as well controlled as the Mexicans' southern border. 0.92

02:13:46.000 Oh, by the way, there was a big AP article finally reporting on what we already knew, that they take tens of thousands of dollars from you, they put you in a camp, they beat you up, That they have zero tolerance with Guatemalans. 0.82

02:13:59.000 You betcha.

02:14:00.000 Or anybody else coming up over that southern border that doesn't have all his papers in order.

02:14:04.000 Your papers, please.

02:14:05.000 They even shot a man a couple weeks ago around Mexico City because he, quote, looked like a Central American.

02:14:14.000 Talk about a racist point of view.

02:14:17.000 The very kind of thing you would expect them to be excited about.

02:14:20.000 But the Mexican government tells their people, you're Mesoamerican, you're allowed to have the whole continent!

02:14:25.000 Exactly.

02:14:26.000 Exactly.

02:14:27.000 And now, by the way, that sounds like a call to return to the religion of Montezuma and the Aztecs. 0.78

02:14:35.000 Oh, that's what, listen, our mayor, the last mayor, Gus Garcia, had a proclamation, I have it on videotape, saying that they are the master race. 0.98

02:14:44.000 Well, we've heard that language before, not too many years ago.

02:14:48.000 Well, you know, they can't really demonstrate in Mexico.

02:14:50.000 They get arrested, they get beat up, that's well known, because they don't have a Second Amendment down there.

02:14:54.000 Why are they trying to come to America and then march by the millions with Mexican flags saying, this is Mexico? 0.87

02:15:00.000 If Mexico is so great, why don't they go back? 1.00

02:15:02.000 Well, they say, this is Mexico.

02:15:04.000 My point is, is that the system of Mexico, if you love that system so much, why don't you go back?

02:15:09.000 You know, the Southwestern United States, if they do a little history lesson, was formed, particularly Texas, when folks living in Texas had a deal with the Constitutional Republic, and then a chap by the name of Santa Ana did something fairly common for a Latin American country.

02:15:27.000 There was a coup d'etat. 0.97

02:15:29.000 And the Texans said, well, you're a bum. 0.99

02:15:31.000 You're a dictator. 0.99

02:15:32.000 You don't have legitimate authority.

02:15:33.000 We're out of here.

02:15:34.000 No, my family got Spanish land grants.

02:15:36.000 The Spanish had a good government.

02:15:37.000 They had freedom.

02:15:38.000 And then when Santa Ana came up here saying, I'm taking your property, they said, well, come and take it.

02:15:43.000 We got guns.

02:15:44.000 That's right.

02:15:45.000 And, by the way, a third of those fighting for Texas were Hispanic Texians, Tejanos.

02:15:50.000 Well, the Vice President of the Republic of Texas was a Mexican whose last name, I forget now, began with a Z, but... Well, the person that wrote the Constitution was Hispanic.

02:16:00.000 But they, the public schools, don't want to teach that because the globalists have said they want these illegal aliens here to break up our sovereignty. 1.00

02:16:07.000 It's about a Pan-American Union.

02:16:09.000 Well, it certainly seems to be an invitation for just that, and nobody seems to take umbrage at these incredible statements that this is our continent.

02:16:21.000 We're not illegal in our own continent.

02:16:23.000 Well, here's the problem, Larry Pratt, as you know.

02:16:25.000 70 plus percent of Americans in major polls are now pro-Second Amendment.

02:16:30.000 It's the same thing with abortion, same thing with the borders, but what we want and what's constitutional and what makes sense isn't happening.

02:16:37.000 No.

02:16:37.000 Well, and that's partly because things go on in Washington and they are below the radar.

02:16:44.000 I mean, for all the Aggravation that you and I would go through as passengers. 0.83

02:16:49.000 Really there hasn't been that much said about how stupid this whole passive defense notion is when the cheapest and easiest and I think most effective way to defend a plane is to make it so that the pilot and his co-pilot can take out any bad actor. 0.87

02:17:05.000 Oh, but they can control hundreds of switches and fly the most complex aircraft out there, but they can't have a firearm. 0.96

02:17:12.000 Exactly right.

02:17:14.000 We're going to trust them with the lives of all these people with the plane, but we don't trust them with a gun, but we'll trust some guy with a 75 IQ who's a cop.

02:17:22.000 That's the ticket.

02:17:24.000 We're not going to trust these pilots, who most of them are veterans, but we're going to trust some federal marshal.

02:17:31.000 No, no, it's about a monopoly of force.

02:17:34.000 As the UN said back in 2000 at a UN summit to ban guns in New York, they said that civilian ownership of firearms threatens a legitimate power monopoly of the state.

02:17:45.000 So you take care of your car, you change the oil, tune it up on a regular basis, and always make sure that it's running at its best.

02:17:51.000 When it comes to your car, you demand performance.

02:17:54.000 That's why you need SFR's Protecta Synthetic Oil Treatments.

02:18:44.000 Hi, this is Ted Anderson.

02:18:48.000 Have you ever wondered why banks, stockbrokers, investment advisors won't talk about gold for your IRA?

02:18:54.000 That's right.

02:18:55.000 Gold has been available to be placed in IRAs since 1986.

02:18:57.000 Yet still, the financial industry refuses to recognize the value of real hard assets for your retirement.

02:19:05.000 The truth be told, gold and silver has outperformed paper investments like stocks, bonds and CDs, yet no word about IRAs.

02:19:13.000 Perhaps the financial institutions want to maintain control of your assets by keeping you in paper.

02:19:19.000 If you'd like to take a look at gold for your retirement, call 800-686-2237.

02:19:25.000 Don't get left behind by rising inflation and low return on your paper investments.

02:19:42.000 Hello, folks.

02:19:45.000 Alex Jones here.

02:19:47.000 You know murky water filters have been removing pathogenic bacteria for years.

02:19:51.000 But what about those unhealthy chemicals and heavy metals in your water?

02:19:54.000 The powerful black murky purification elements fit most gravity filters and dramatically increase their power to extract waterborne contaminants.

02:20:01.000 Best of all, they filter much faster than ordinary gravity elements.

02:20:04.000 This means it takes much less time to filter your water.

02:20:06.000 Black murky elements not only remove pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites, but also remove Try Halo Methanes and Volatile Organic Elements such as Atcozine, Benzene, Chloride and Chloroform, MTBE, Radon-222, Foul Taste and Obnoxious Odors like Sulfur, even Nitrates, and Unwanted Heavy Metals such as Lead, Mercury, and Aluminum are extracted.

02:20:26.000 Supercharge your Gravity Filter today and order a 2-pack of Black Berkey Purification Elements for only $96 or a 4-pack for only $175 by calling New Millennium at 888-4-9-1.

02:21:33.000 I'm going to keep Larry Pratt, Executive Director and owners of the Maryland Hill, with us until near the end of the show.

02:21:55.000 We'll take calls coming up in the next segment, specifically on the Second Amendment or the police stator.

02:21:59.000 The open borders, the issues he's raised.

02:22:01.000 He's got some good news on the Second Amendment for you, not just some bad news.

02:22:04.000 The toll-free number to join us is 800-259-9231.

02:22:08.000 I knew that Homeland Security had been in Austin a couple years ago, and some locals shot some video of them saying that gun owners are terrorists, and anybody who's got a backpack's a terrorist, and any protester's a terrorist.

02:22:22.000 They let me watch the video, but wouldn't let me put it on TV or on the web.

02:22:27.000 Because they said they liked George Bush and kind of agreed with it.

02:22:30.000 It freaked me out pretty bad, but we had similar video from Kansas City that's in Road to Tyranny.

02:22:35.000 We now have the Virginia State Training Manual that says any property rights activist, but this new Texas handout that I got is even worse, so that'll be going up in the next few hours.

02:22:48.000 Larry Pratt, I know I'm digressing here in this short segment with you, but I know you're aware of the FBI flyer that said gun owners are terrorists, those that make frequent references to the U.S.

02:22:56.000 Constitution are terrorists.

02:22:58.000 This new one I got is even worse, sir. 0.95

02:23:00.000 It says, any protesting, you're a terrorist.

02:23:02.000 It actually says it.

02:23:03.000 Can you comment on that, sir?

02:23:05.000 Well, they've been this frame of mind for some time.

02:23:09.000 I know I made the honor roll Specifically and as did Gun Owners of America as an organization during the Clinton administration and at the time I thought well that's just a left-wing Democrat type talk but when it gets carried over into the present administration and they're still talking about people who have a little concern about the government and maybe have a constitution in their hip pocket as people to put on the watch list

02:23:38.000 Then I think we know that this is something endemic to the big government here in Russia.

02:23:43.000 Well, this is what we would expect if we were in Russia and we had the KGB and Stalin.

02:23:48.000 They're saying we're the enemy.

02:23:51.000 Boy, if they haven't said it in so many words, that is exactly what their actions are telling us.

02:23:57.000 And what I wanted to point out, one more item about Homeland Security.

02:24:03.000 I am convinced that they are quite happy using the concept of gun control that has been propounded in the UN.

02:24:11.000 Up there, the folks that are pushing the treaty that they want the U.S. 0.88

02:24:15.000 to sign to register all guns have been very open.

02:24:18.000 The ultimate objective is that there be no civilian ownership of guns.

02:24:23.000 speak, that means no non-state actors, only governments.

02:24:23.000 And in U.N.

02:24:29.000 That's what the U.N. 0.56

02:24:30.000 said when they stated that civilian ownership of firearms threatens the legitimate power monopoly of the state.

02:24:37.000 Of course they say it's legitimate.

02:24:38.000 A power monopoly is a dictatorship.

02:24:40.000 Well, the U.N. 0.81

02:24:42.000 is primarily the spokesman for a cartel of thugs. 0.52

02:24:48.000 And there's just no other way to put it.

02:24:50.000 Naturally, a thugocracy would not trust its subjects.

02:24:55.000 They're not citizens, and it doesn't want them armed.

02:24:58.000 And it hates even the existence of the occasional relatively free society that allows some gun ownership among the civilians.

02:25:07.000 At what age do you digress?

02:25:08.000 You're talking about Homeland Security.

02:25:10.000 Yeah, what Homeland Security has done is taken that concept of only state actors having guns and said, you know, we've got this Patriot Act and we've got these other acts following September 11th and in them it says that if you have taken up arms against the government, you're a terrorist.

02:25:28.000 Now forget the fact that the folks in Southern Sudan took up arms and almost beat off fairly successfully the Islamic Jihad from the north and right now and for forty years the Karen minority in Burma, a substantially Christian group, has been resisting genocide and the only way they've been able to do it is by force of arms, at least until they run out of bullets and then have to run into the jungles to hide.

02:25:55.000 These people are being dispersed to other countries and Southern Asia, and there was a group of 9,800 that was slated to come to the United States.

02:26:05.000 I would call these people freedom fighters, but the Homeland Security Department says, no, we're not going to give a waiver to the law which says anybody that's taken up arms is a terrorist even though they use them in self-defense.

02:26:16.000 So basically that would mean today that former French resistance fighters or former Jews or Poles who fought the Nazis couldn't come to America.

02:26:23.000 And we could probably go right back to George Washington.

02:26:26.000 You'd have quite a lineage there.

02:26:27.000 Have you seen in my film, The Road to Tyranny, where FEMA says George Washington is bad and is a terrorist?

02:26:33.000 Well, yeah, I haven't.

02:26:34.000 I've seen that, and in fact, I've seen that kind of canard face up.

02:26:39.000 When I was in South Africa earlier this year, an ex-terrorist, who's now a police chief, tried to pass that one over.

02:26:46.000 Well, George Washington was a terrorist, because he knew that I knew that he was a terrorist as well.

02:26:51.000 Three women in a bar that he had blown up in Durban, in a tourist area.

02:26:56.000 Yeah, George Washington didn't blow up bars full of women. 1.00

02:26:59.000 Exactly right!

02:27:00.000 He shot at redcoats and in fact the terrorism that was conducted during that war was that which was conducted by the Brits, not by the American freedom fighters.

02:27:11.000 A big difference and they would like us to forget that as well as the rest of our history.

02:27:16.000 We'll be right back with Larry Pratt and get into some of the good news We'll take some of your calls.

02:27:23.000 1-800-259-9231.

02:27:23.000 And I'll read to you from the Homeland Security Texas packet that I now have in my little hands.

02:27:35.000 We're on the march.

02:27:36.000 The Empire's on the run.

02:27:38.000 Alex Jones and the GCN Radio Network.

02:27:45.000 If you think your engine is safe by having the oil changed every 3,000 miles, think again.

02:27:49.000 Every time you start your car, your engine creates friction between the moving parts.

02:27:53.000 These moving parts wear against each other, and the result is small metal particles circulating through your oil, causing premature wear and damage to your engine.

02:28:02.000 Oil filters do a good job of trapping the large metal particles, but they will not trap the most harmful tiny particles.

02:28:07.000 These tiny particles circulate constantly through your oil, and over time your engine begins to show signs of wear.

02:28:13.000 This is why you need the Filter Mag.

02:28:15.000 The Filter Mag is a powerful magnet that holds itself to the outside of your oil filter, trapping the tiny metal particles to the inside wall of the filter, extending the life of your oil and ultimately extending the life of your engine.

02:28:28.000 The reusable FilterMag is maintenance-free, installs in two seconds, and lasts forever.

02:28:32.000 So what are you waiting for?

02:30:57.000 Elias, Mike, Eddie, many others, your calls are coming up early.

02:31:00.000 Larry Pratt, who I'll just keep with us the entire time if he can stay with us.

02:31:04.000 Larry, before we go any further and get into the good news you've got for us today, tell us about Gun Owners of America and how we support you, how we get involved.

02:31:11.000 Thank you very much.

02:31:12.000 We are on the web and we would hope people could Find us there because that's where the first line of defense is often fought through the email.

02:31:21.000 There's an email list that we have people can join.

02:31:24.000 It's a freebie.

02:31:24.000 Once or twice a week they'll get information and a real quick and easy way to respond to Generally the Congress, but I'll explain it a little bit.

02:31:33.000 And we've beaten a lot of legislation together at the state and federal level that would have sailed through.

02:31:38.000 And particularly I think at the state level we can see quite an impact.

02:31:42.000 So if folks go to gunowners.org, that is the place to go for information as well as signing up for that.

02:31:50.000 That's a freebie, and if folks want to join us and help keep the lights on, they can do that on that page as well.

02:31:57.000 Or call us at 888-886-GUNS.

02:32:05.000 The email actually played a rather helpful role in something that happened in Louisiana Louisiana, of course, was the site of Hurricane Katrina, and we saw this incredible sight of cops taking people's guns long after the storm had

02:32:23.000 uh... passed through and the waters were receding and we've got on and that same website gun owners dot org a tab that you can go to for gun confiscation in new orleans and we've got two tv videos that we've preserved and put on that site in about five minutes you can see the audacity of the cops who just assumed that a civilian with a gun is a problem forget the fact that these guys Well, a cop is a civilian.

02:32:52.000 You know, this whole militarized nomenclature where mayors call us civilians, presidents do.

02:32:57.000 You're civilians too, Mac.

02:32:59.000 We're not a military dictatorship.

02:33:00.000 That's a very good point.

02:33:02.000 The better word would be citizens.

02:33:04.000 I know, but you're right to use the term that they call us by.

02:33:08.000 Well, as long as we make your caveat, I think that was well put.

02:33:12.000 And the attitude seemed to have been, well, we resent the fact that you made it through the flood, you warded off the looters, because you were prepared with both food and guns and whatever else you had, and this is an offense to the police state, and so we're going to grab your guns, and they did.

02:33:31.000 Now we are seeing across the country legislation going through state legislatures and sometimes we've already had it be signed into law.

02:33:41.000 Started in Louisiana, a representative Steve Scalise has been in touch with us from the get-go on making sure that the Wording of the bill didn't get snookered by clever types that were trying to gut the bill by making it look like they were just helping clarify.

02:33:59.000 Well, finally, yesterday, the vote in the House on Scalise's bill to prevent, make it illegal for a cop to do what they did in New Orleans, namely steal people's guns.

02:34:11.000 And it was very instructive.

02:34:14.000 First of all, a lot of our email was coming through, and Scalise has mentioned that in more than one of his communications to us, is that his colleagues had mentioned it.

02:34:23.000 He had 80 co-sponsors on this bill that there's only 104 members in the state House of Representatives.

02:34:32.000 But there's a little bit more to it than the story.

02:34:35.000 A recorded vote tells you some things that are not necessarily going to be clear otherwise.

02:34:41.000 There was an effort to amend the thing and gut it, even yesterday as they were in the final voting on this measure in the House, and there were 30 people, 30 representatives, who wanted to in effect gut the bill, and yet All of them voted in favor of the better language, the final bill, when it passed.

02:35:02.000 So you can see that when it comes down to it, they wanted to be known as sponsors of the bill, and they wanted to be known as voting for it.

02:35:10.000 But in reality, 30 of them did their level best to cut it to smithereens.

02:35:16.000 So where is that going now?

02:35:17.000 Well, the Senate passed an even stronger bill, so we think that we've now got this thing on the downhill.

02:35:26.000 Will the executive sign it?

02:35:28.000 Doesn't matter.

02:35:29.000 We have enough votes to override.

02:35:30.000 Almost just assume that she vetoed it so that she put a big political target on her back.

02:35:38.000 Now I want to play a clip.

02:35:39.000 I believe this is from NBC.

02:35:41.000 I want to play a clip of the gun confiscation going on in the multi-million dollar neighborhood, and they were going to law-abiding citizens' homes where they were high and dry, and not bring food, not bring aid, but go after their guns.

02:35:56.000 Go ahead and roll it.

02:35:57.000 That includes New Orleans, where today authorities stepped up their efforts to empty the city.

02:36:03.000 Bob Woodruff is there again tonight with an extraordinary human drama unfolding.

02:36:07.000 Bob?

02:36:09.000 That's true, Elizabeth, and good evening from New Orleans.

02:36:11.000 Here the police and the National Guard find themselves in a very difficult position tonight to try to carry out an order to force people from the city without actually using force.

02:36:25.000 Today in New Orleans, they got a lot tougher on the holdouts.

02:36:30.000 Not only the flooded areas, but New Orleans' driest and wealthiest neighborhoods too.

02:36:38.000 The police and National Guard going street by street, house to house.

02:36:44.000 We need to make sure too that whenever we knock on doors, people refuse to leave.

02:36:48.000 We need to make note, call again.

02:36:51.000 They say there are no orders to use force, just strong persuasion.

02:36:55.000 Sometimes entering open houses with guns drawn.

02:36:59.000 And instructions to disarm anyone inside.

02:37:02.000 You said guns will be taken?

02:37:04.000 No one will be able to be armed.

02:37:05.000 We will take all weapons.

02:37:07.000 That happened today in this wealthy neighborhood where homeowners had armed themselves to protect their mansions.

02:37:14.000 Residents were handcuffed on the ground.

02:37:16.000 In the end, police took their weapons but let them stay in their homes.

02:37:20.000 They were a little bit threatened because our weapons were bigger than their weapons.

02:37:24.000 For many of the police and guard troops, it is an uncomfortable job to do this in an American city.

02:37:31.000 This guard unit occupied a church using it as a base camp.

02:37:34.000 They had to leave... Alex, that is one of the videos that people can see if they go to gunowners.org.

02:37:39.000 We've got it there, and that is exactly what happened.

02:37:43.000 And it's just outrageous that... Well, no wonder the military feels bad.

02:37:47.000 Yeah, you're engaging in a crime.

02:37:48.000 By the way, the voice that we heard saying no guns will be allowed was that of Eddie Kompas, the police superintendent.

02:37:55.000 Who left town in haste because one of the things that the hurricane blew away was the cover of about a third of his police force being as phony as a three dollar bill.

02:38:07.000 They were only there on paper.

02:38:09.000 They were drawing salaries and we can only imagine where those salaries might have been going.

02:38:15.000 Yeah, exactly.

02:38:16.000 Crooks always want your guns.

02:38:18.000 Yes! 1.00

02:38:19.000 And this guy was a crook. 0.99

02:38:21.000 They always want... It's simple. 1.00

02:38:22.000 I mean, when somebody comes to rob your house, do they want a house where there's guns or not?

02:38:26.000 You got a criminal government.

02:38:28.000 They want your guns. 0.82

02:38:28.000 It's like all the crooks up in Illinois that run things up there. 0.82

02:38:32.000 That Mafia bastion. 0.93

02:38:33.000 Of course you're going to have strong gun control.

02:38:35.000 Same thing with New York.

02:38:36.000 Same thing with L.A.

02:38:39.000 This is outrageous.

02:38:40.000 But the good news is, that was a major wake-up call, what happened in New Orleans.

02:38:45.000 Now all these people that, oh, the government doesn't want to confiscate our guns, even if I've been to urban warfare drills for a decade videotaping it, now the denial's over, Larry Pratt.

02:38:54.000 Have you found people now really know what's going on?

02:38:56.000 It has been extremely helpful.

02:38:59.000 Even yesterday, in the floor of the legislature in the House in Louisiana, Our video was referenced.

02:39:06.000 Well, because it happened that way in the video, blah, blah, blah.

02:39:10.000 They were trying to smooth over what they had seen, but the fact is that the images were too stark.

02:39:16.000 Now, ABC, it wasn't NBC, it was ABC, and we've got several other videos.

02:39:20.000 You've got the same ones on your site, and they're up on InfoWars.com and PrisonPlanet.com as well.

02:39:25.000 I mean, Bob Woodruff was just pleased as punch.

02:39:28.000 Great!

02:39:29.000 It was probably enjoying the anguish of the young troops that were doing something that they knew they shouldn't be doing.

02:39:36.000 But other legislators have also seen that.

02:39:39.000 In fact, we made a DVD of that and we've sent it out to a number of state legislators who have played it in their chambers or in their committee meetings.

02:39:48.000 And it's had a tremendous impact, because when you see that, and you're going to vote against stopping that?

02:39:55.000 I don't think so.

02:39:56.000 Exactly.

02:39:57.000 It's a great litmus test to really see where they stand.

02:40:00.000 And so, as the globalists, Larry Pratt, try to move against us, they're going to generate more resistance.

02:40:06.000 I mean, certainly this was a test, what they did in New Orleans, and I think they failed miserably.

02:40:11.000 They did, and part of the good about this wake-up call, a lot of the laws that are on the books that are now being challenged by these efforts to, shall we say, in our shorthand, pass a Katrina bill and make it illegal to do what it was done, People have found that a lot of those laws were passed right after September 11.

02:40:32.000 They were state of emergency type laws and we warned at the time that if you don't amend the way that model bill that came out of the whatever the National Conference of State Legislatures or something like that This thing is going to permit gun confiscation.

02:40:47.000 Nah! 0.99

02:40:48.000 What do you guys know?

02:40:49.000 Well, that's exactly what happened.

02:40:52.000 And so now they are going in and at least taking that part of their unconstitutional powers out of the law.

02:41:01.000 And I would say that is a very helpful thing.

02:41:04.000 Okay, I want to talk to Elias and Mike and Eddie and a few others, and I want to keep to the end of the broadcast, but just for a few minutes here, I want to read this new brochure put out by the Texas Department of Public Safety, the state police, of course federally written.

02:41:20.000 Terrorism, what the public needs to know, and it says tattle on anyone, report anyone in your community is the exact wording that fits any of this.

02:41:27.000 Remember two years ago they said if somebody has a road atlas in their car, Go ahead and bring them in, police, because that's what terrorists have.

02:41:34.000 I mean, everybody who's got a brain has a road atlas in their car.

02:41:37.000 I have a Texas atlas and a U.S.

02:41:40.000 atlas, so I guess the SWAT team's on its way right now.

02:41:43.000 I think I bought it at the grocery store. 1.00

02:41:45.000 You know, if all you have is a hammer, every problem is a nail, and it just shows how stupid these people can be. 1.00

02:41:51.000 Well, it shows they know active, informed citizens are the enemy of the crime syndicate, period. 1.00

02:41:55.000 Larry, let me get your take on this.

02:41:58.000 Terrorism, what the public needs to know, the Texas Department of Public Safety, Special Crime Service, Counterterrorism Intelligence Unit, I'm going to call them and ask them to come on and tell us who the terrorists are.

02:42:08.000 And it says, who are the terrorists?

02:42:11.000 Often called extremists.

02:42:12.000 See, now it's protesters.

02:42:13.000 See, they like to use a lesser term, like extremist, to describe something like a terrorist, because then they can interchange the two and use the word extremist on us and not get sued.

02:42:22.000 But it says, pre-incident indicators.

02:42:25.000 Trained to avoid confrontations with law enforcement and therefore can be expected to project a nice guy image.

02:42:32.000 It says if they do that, call the police on them.

02:42:34.000 It says they will engage in propaganda at public rallies, demonstrations, and private meetings sponsored by support groups.

02:42:41.000 So, the terrorist... That's incredible.

02:42:43.000 So, nice guys are the ones they want to take to jail.

02:42:45.000 And they also protest.

02:42:46.000 And of course, the Virginia Manual says property rights activists.

02:42:51.000 That's an exact quote.

02:42:52.000 It says that the terrorists will put out posters, leaflets, websites, and underground press publications, conduct and participate in military-type maneuvers, shooting clubs, you name it.

02:43:03.000 I would imagine my last trip to the range would have been a military maneuver.

02:43:08.000 It says self-defense courses, flight training, any of that, scuba training.

02:43:14.000 Well, I've done scuba training and I did self-defense when I was about 14.

02:43:17.000 I'm a terrorist.

02:43:19.000 How do terrorists move within our community?

02:43:21.000 It says carrying forged identity documents.

02:43:24.000 Wait a minute, what do the illegal aliens do? 0.98

02:43:26.000 And then it goes on, it says walking, biking, or driving into or near potential targets.

02:43:34.000 And it says having a large amount of clothing, especially Levi's jeans, whatever that means.

02:43:39.000 No wonder they couldn't stop 9-11. 0.92

02:43:42.000 And then it says, identity documents, passports, birth certificates, social security cards, driver's license.

02:43:48.000 So anybody that has a driver's license, it says, is a call.

02:43:52.000 It says on the back here, if you have a suspicion in your community about any of the pre-incident indicators referenced in this brochure, you should obtain as much information as possible, including, and then it says your name, where you're at, and then call the, call them.

02:44:07.000 Yeah.

02:44:07.000 So I want to admit, I have a World Almanac at my home.

02:44:10.000 I have a Texas Almanac in my car.

02:44:12.000 Driver's license.

02:44:14.000 I have a driver's license.

02:44:15.000 I scuba dive a few times.

02:44:17.000 So here's the number, folks, if you want to call them and tell them I'm bad.

02:44:20.000 Oh, and I'll bet you you've got at least one pair of Levi's or something resembling them.

02:44:24.000 No, it's worse than that, sir.

02:44:25.000 I'm a Levi's man.

02:44:27.000 I'm wearing a pair of Levi's right now.

02:44:29.000 Blue ones. 0.81

02:44:30.000 You're just a bomb waiting to go off.

02:44:34.000 Larry, do you or your son or anybody you know, do they have Levi's?

02:44:39.000 I think I better go home and throw mine out, huh?

02:44:43.000 Do you have a road almanac in your glove compartment?

02:44:46.000 I have about five or six.

02:44:48.000 Because we have a lot of jurisdictions in our urban area.

02:44:52.000 But the border stays wide open.

02:44:53.000 We've got to leave the border wide open.

02:44:55.000 Everybody's a terrorist.

02:44:56.000 Isn't that incredible?

02:44:57.000 That is so incredible.

02:45:00.000 But that's the way they want us to think. 0.98

02:45:03.000 Now hopefully we're not quite that stupid yet, even though the government schools have been certainly trying to dumb us down. 0.98

02:45:09.000 Let's take a call real quick, Larry. 0.98

02:45:11.000 Elias in Michigan, you're on the air.

02:45:13.000 Mike just hung up.

02:45:13.000 Mike, you can call back if you want.

02:45:14.000 Go ahead, Elias.

02:45:16.000 I haven't hung up.

02:45:16.000 Hi, Larry.

02:45:17.000 Good afternoon.

02:45:19.000 All these draconian measures that Alex is talking about, are there because they're afraid there's going to be a revolution in this country.

02:45:28.000 That's what they're afraid of. 0.96

02:45:29.000 Because they know they're a bunch of crooks. 0.97

02:45:31.000 Mm-hmm. 1.00

02:45:31.000 Yeah, crooks. 1.00

02:45:32.000 I go back to Saddam Hussein. 0.98

02:45:36.000 He had a point.

02:45:37.000 He said, a disarmed people are ready for slavery. 1.00

02:45:42.000 Well that's an interesting point.

02:45:43.000 I'm not supporting Saddam.

02:45:45.000 I'm not supporting Saddam, but he could have a rally with 10,000 people with machine guns and rifles.

02:45:51.000 You don't see our president doing that, do you, Larry?

02:45:54.000 No, you don't.

02:45:55.000 In fact, if you have a sign around the President of the United States, if it's a hostile sign like a Bush is a bomb or something like that, you're probably going to get the hustle.

02:46:06.000 Oh, they're charging that poor Chinese doctor with a terrorism charge of intimidating a foreign official.

02:46:13.000 But it was such a sign of an open society when some selected hostile students in China asked pointed questions of President Bush.

02:46:21.000 Please.

02:46:23.000 That's right.

02:46:23.000 Go ahead, Caller.

02:46:26.000 Please don't do that, you know?

02:46:28.000 Please!

02:46:29.000 Well, you know, that's what they're afraid of.

02:46:31.000 They're scared to death!

02:46:32.000 They are scared, and they are...

02:46:36.000 As he said, we're down to run, really.

02:46:37.000 The gun grabber types talk the same way domestically as they do in terms of this collective assault that they've got on us.

02:46:46.000 The Sarah Brady types say, well, you can't be trusted with a gun. 0.97

02:46:50.000 You'll go nuts if you have a gun out on the street.

02:46:52.000 And so they have a fear of the average guy that truly is paranoid.

02:46:59.000 They talk about us in the old days looking for communists under every bed.

02:47:04.000 Well, they look for a gun-owning citizen under every rock.

02:47:07.000 Thanks, Elias.

02:47:08.000 Eddie in Texas.

02:47:09.000 You bet.

02:47:10.000 Eddie in Texas.

02:47:11.000 Go ahead.

02:47:13.000 Mr. Pratt, my question to you, Mr. Pratt, is do you think the American citizens have been conditioned enough to willingly give up their guns in the event of a national emergency like Katrina or 9-11?

02:47:23.000 Happily, I think the legislation that we're seeing go through with this huge support that it's been getting from people forcing these enormously lopsided majorities, definitely veto-proof majorities, coming out of not just the Louisiana legislature, I think that indicates that in spite of their considerable progress in dumbing us down, we haven't gotten to the point where people think that they don't need their guns or at least They wouldn't like to be able to get a gun somehow.

02:47:52.000 But the Chairman of Violence Policy Center back in 2000 in a debate with myself was in the paper said, hey we've already got your children so we're gonna ban the guns just as soon as your children have grown up.

02:48:05.000 So that's the problem.

02:48:06.000 And that's by the way exactly what Hitler said.

02:48:10.000 We have your children, we don't care what you think.

02:48:12.000 We're in this for the long haul.

02:48:14.000 And that's part of the problem that I think we have faced, is that we don't have that long haul vision that the other side does.

02:48:21.000 Yeah, so we gotta get Eddie Eagle and others there in the schools.

02:48:25.000 At least.

02:48:26.000 At least.

02:48:27.000 And get the clubs back.

02:48:28.000 Get the shooting clubs back.

02:48:29.000 Hey, look! 0.92

02:48:30.000 Take a liberal out. 1.00

02:48:31.000 Take them shooting. 1.00

02:48:32.000 Deprogram them. 0.99

02:48:33.000 Excellent.

02:48:34.000 All right.

02:48:35.000 Thank you, caller.

02:48:36.000 We'll take a few more on the other side.

02:48:37.000 Final segment, where Larry Pratt has been gracious to spend an entire hour with us.

02:48:41.000 DeadOwners.org, check it out.

02:51:52.000 Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

02:51:56.000 Monday through Friday, 11 to 2 Central, back from 9 to midnight.

02:52:01.000 I'm Alex Jones, your host.

02:52:02.000 Quickly, two final calls.

02:52:03.000 Pat and David, that's all I have time for.

02:52:05.000 Pat in Hawaii, you're on the air with Larry Perret.

02:52:08.000 Go ahead.

02:52:10.000 Hi, I just want to applaud you folks for all the good that you're doing.

02:52:13.000 And I just happened to call this number this morning because I saw it on the internet when I was searching out for some books that you have.

02:52:21.000 And I was listening in on the gun thing, and I remember back here in Hawaii, we used to have these meetings every week, you know?

02:52:30.000 And one of the things that was brought up for this Patriot meeting that we used to have was the gun survey that the Marines had to take.

02:52:39.000 29 palms.

02:52:40.000 12 palms, I don't know.

02:52:42.000 And they were asked whether they would shoot their family if they wouldn't turn their guns in.

02:52:47.000 I couldn't believe it.

02:52:50.000 Said they wouldn't.

02:52:51.000 That's the good news.

02:52:51.000 But they take the 24% and promote them.

02:52:54.000 And ma'am, if you think that's scary, I've got video of Marines training to take our guns all over America and admitting it's for America.

02:53:01.000 And now we've seen it in New Orleans with Army and FBI and others.

02:53:05.000 Thanks for the call.

02:53:05.000 Larry Pratt.

02:53:06.000 Yes, that was a real wake-up call because the Marine are kind of the elite force.

02:53:12.000 And if you've got a lot of young guys, that's what we're talking about.

02:53:16.000 Somebody mentioned it, maybe you did, just before the break.

02:53:20.000 It's what's happening in the schools.

02:53:21.000 They've got that future in mind.

02:53:23.000 Yeah, it was your quote of Sugarman that was I'm convinced that in the long run they're going to get us because they're going to educate our children to vote away their freedom and to vote away, of course, our freedom.

02:53:35.000 And if we don't stop them, then I think they're absolutely right.

02:53:38.000 David in Texas, last caller, go ahead.

02:53:40.000 How are you doing, Alex?

02:53:41.000 I actually am off topic a little bit here, but I've been holding for about two hours, so I'm going to see if I can get you... Oh, really?

02:53:46.000 They said you just called in.

02:53:47.000 Okay, go ahead.

02:53:49.000 Okay, yeah.

02:53:51.000 My first one, I guess you weren't on the air yesterday, and whoever it was that was in your spot, Or that their show was in your spot?

02:54:00.000 He was talking about how the Reichstag fire was a fable.

02:54:04.000 The story behind it.

02:54:05.000 That Nazis didn't carry it out. 0.78

02:54:08.000 And that the Communists actually did carry it out. 0.58

02:54:10.000 And Hitler's good and nice. 1.00

02:54:14.000 Well, he said that it was just convenient and that they used it to their advantage.

02:54:17.000 But that there was some new book and some kind of documentation They're proved beyond the shadow of a doubt.

02:54:23.000 Well, we'll have to debate that later.

02:54:25.000 I appreciate your call, sir.

02:54:27.000 My broadcast really isn't about other people's shows, but thank you.

02:54:30.000 Larry Pratt, I want to thank you for coming on to the broadcast and all you do, GunOwners.org.

02:54:36.000 Thank you, Alex.

02:54:36.000 Real fast, fire out that number for folks that want to join.

02:54:40.000 If they can't go to GunOwners.org, they can call us, 888-886-GUNS.

02:54:42.000 Call us, 888-886-GUNS.

02:54:45.000 That's toll-free, 888-886-GUNS.

02:54:49.000 All right.

02:54:49.000 Larry Pratt will talk to you soon, and as long as there's any developments, and we know we can go get that with your legislative updates.

02:54:55.000 Thank you.

02:54:55.000 Thank you, Alex.

02:54:56.000 God bless.

02:54:57.000 God bless you.

02:54:57.000 Yeah, I wish I could get into the Reichstag debate, Collar.

02:55:01.000 I'm just out of time here, but the Nazis admit that they attacked the town of Gleiwitz and staged all that, and they staged the Reichstag, and so I'm not going to sit there and debate it with people. 0.67

02:55:12.000 Okay, governments engage in sponsored terror, and there's a lot of people out there prancing around defending Hitler, and I get really tired of it.

02:55:19.000 I don't know what show you're talking about.

02:55:21.000 That's confusing to me.
