00:11:27.000 In fact, I created an organization of faculty and experts to study 9-11, not to teach in courses, but I must tell you what we have discovered would certainly qualify as material for an important course the university ought to be teaching.

00:11:43.000 You're not teaching a course in this.

00:11:45.000 No, you're confused, and I hope that Fox usually does a better job on their research than this.

00:11:50.000 I did create, I created an organization of faculty and scholars to study 9-11, and we discovered that practically everything the government has told us about it is false.

00:12:00.000 I want to get into that in a moment, I just want to be clear.

00:12:02.000 So as far as you know, there is no course on 9-11 conspiracy theories being taught at your university or any place else that you know of?

00:12:10.000 That's right, but it's a great idea.

00:12:12.000 I would certainly support having such a course because there's a lot of material to work with.

00:12:16.000 Alright, and what evidence do you have that the government was involved, that Cheney knew, that anybody in the chain of command knew ahead of time that this was going to happen on 9-11?

00:12:25.000 Can you give us any piece of evidence that would substantiate that argument?

00:12:30.000 Absolutely.

00:12:30.000 For example, Norman Mineta testified to the 9-11 Commission that he observed Dick Cheney in an underground bunker when a young aide came up to him and repeatedly told him, Sir, it's 50 miles out.

00:12:41.000 Sir, it's 30 miles out.

00:12:42.000 Sir, it's 10 miles out.

00:12:43.000 Sir, do the orders still stand?

00:12:45.000 Cheney turned around, jumped on him nearly, bit off his head and said, of course the orders still stand.

00:12:50.000 The order had to be to not shoot down the plane that was approaching the Pentagon.

00:12:55.000 After all, the order should have been to shoot it down.

00:12:57.000 Shooting it down would be the obvious thing to do when you consider that you're going to lose the passengers in the plane if you shoot it down, but if you don't, you're going to use the passengers in the plane and also, of course, all the personnel and property at the target.

00:13:11.000 Let me ask you, I want to go back to something in exchange that you and Alan just had a moment ago.

00:13:15.000 In fairness to our producers, when they talked to you earlier, you said that courses are being taught in which these conspiracy theories are advanced to the students.

00:13:27.000 What I said to him was, in courses on critical thinking, sometimes issues related to, for example, tax cuts, or global warming, or reasons for going to war in Iraq, might be discussed as examples, but I know of no courses as such that are being taught that way.

00:13:42.000 So let me ask, how big is this group of professors that you've put together, this organization you've formed, that gives credence, if you will, to the theory you just advanced about 9-11?

00:13:53.000 Well, there are over 300 members, Colonel North, including about 200 with advanced research skills, and about 85 that have affiliations, including physicists, mechanical engineers, pilots, aeronautical engineers.

00:14:06.000 We've discovered that the Twin Towers were brought down by controlled demolition.

00:14:10.000 We've discovered that the Osama bin Laden appears to have had nothing to do with it.

00:14:16.000 Having been involved in a couple of controversial undertakings over my years in government service, How many people in the government were part of this conspiracy that you envisioned?

00:15:05.000 Our government has a considerable reputation for telling things that are not true, Ollie.

00:15:31.000 You know, we always hear from people out there, especially in the establishment, that it's impossible to carry out an attack this big because the people would have learned of it if the government was involved.

00:15:41.000 Number one, the Manhattan Project had over 10,000 people, really the number is around 12,000, intimately involved at Los Alamos and other secret laboratories in the American Southwest for three and a half years, conservatively.

00:15:59.000 And no one found out about it until those two A-bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of World War II. 0.92

00:18:26.000 They were able to keep 6,000 plus dead people secret and keep a covert war secret for five years.

01:13:15.000 I was in the Far East I was trained, of course, as all Marine Corps officers are initially, as an infantry officer, and subsequently took artillery training at Fort Sill and Lawton, Oklahoma.

01:13:28.000 This was, uh, I graduated in 62, so I was in the Corps from 62 to 66, and pulled a tour of the Far East, and based in Okinawa, several train ops in Japan, in Korea, in Formosa, in the Philippines, R&R in Hong Kong.

01:13:42.000 We came close to having anything to do with Vietnam when the Diem brothers were assassinated.

01:13:47.000 My unit was flapped out and stationed off the coast to cover the evacuation of American civilians if it became necessary, but it did not.

01:13:55.000 I was anchored out in Kaohsiung Harbor in Formosa when Jack was whacked, and of course, eventually when I returned to the United States, and many, many years later, I become deeply, deeply involved in investigating the death of JFK.

01:15:19.000 And subsequently, David Ray Griffin, who became familiar with my work on JFK, where I have published three edited collections bringing the best experts on different aspects of the case together, one's called Assassination Science, the second, Murder in Dealey Plaza, the third, The Great Zapruder Film Hoax,

01:15:37.000 approached me about us collaborating on something on 9-11 and JFK and I began looking into David Ray Griffin's work and getting drawn into these discussion groups on the internet and then in the mid-December I saw so much talent and expertise there that it dawned on me that having some kind of loose affiliation creating a society might be a good idea and I went about, you know, invited Steve Jones to be my co-chair and founder of Scholars for 9-11 Truth

01:16:47.000 And as I was driving in from the airport in the cab, And I actually stopped to have lunch with a friend before I got to the Sheraton.

01:17:04.000 So I spent 15 to 17 minutes giving their producer, a guy named Thomas in New York, a very clear, lucid summarization of our findings.

01:17:16.000 And he not only, you know, was very attentive, but he even said he agreed with me about a lot of that points and found it very interesting.

01:17:22.000 But then he said something I knew couldn't be true, that they had a fire drill and he had to take a break.

01:17:27.000 Now, what I believe was going on was, he was running this by one of his superiors, maybe all the way up to Roger Ailes, for all I know, trying to figure out what spin to take.

01:17:37.000 And half an hour later, I hadn't heard from him, so I called him back.

01:17:41.000 And he said, he just wanted to know if I taught this stuff in any courses.

01:17:45.000 And I said, well, in my class, and I have courses on it.

01:17:48.000 And I said, well, in my critical thinking, I might use it as an example.

01:17:52.000 But I also said I had a dean who invited me to do a course on GFK, but that I never got around to it.

01:17:59.000 And so I'm being prepared later that afternoon.
