00:03:26.000 By Wednesday, Nancy Pelosi was saying, impeachment's off the table, no discussions, no investigations, and people said, oh, don't worry, Howard Dean!

00:03:36.000 I started criticizing Nancy Pelosi and these little liberals, well-meaning people, but they're pretty ignorant about the facts of life, started calling in going, oh, don't worry, Howard Dean, the chairman of the DNC, he'll get Bush, he'll demand it!

00:03:49.000 He came out Thursday and said, nope, it's off the table, not going to happen.

00:03:54.000 We have a new partnership with George W. Bush.

00:03:57.000 And then, Friday, don't worry, John Conyers will save us.

00:04:03.000 And John Conyers, out of Michigan, said, you know what, that's not going to happen.

00:04:09.000 The congressman said, we are going to work with President Bush and have a quote, partnership.

00:04:14.000 So, by early Wednesday morning, When Montana and Virginia were still in play, and several other House seats were in play, but two Senate seats, they were already out front having meetings with Bush via telephone, and I'm sure there were backroom deals made beforehand that if the Democrats win, we're all going to cover each other's backsides.

00:04:34.000 And why is this happening?

00:04:37.000 Because, well there's many reasons, but one of the big ones is, when George Bush got elected and got sworn in on January 23rd,

00:04:48.000 2001, the first thing he did on the 24th, his first full day in office, was to threaten Congressman Dan Burton's committee and tell a good Republican congressman, he actually is a conservative, to drop any house investigation of Bill Clinton pardoning convicted cocaine dealers.

00:05:10.000 Bill Clinton pardoning just all sorts of different criminals and people that make campaign contributions totally illegal, violated a bunch of laws.

00:05:20.000 And it was a real move to indict Bill Clinton, to go after Bill Clinton.

00:05:26.000 Also for lying to Congress.

00:05:27.000 And that got shot down.

00:05:28.000 Why did it get shot down?

00:05:29.000 Because you have a one-party system.

00:05:31.000 Oh, they'll fight with each other over who gets to ride shotgun, basically, with the New World Order.

00:05:36.000 They'll fight with each other over who gets to have the most power.

00:05:40.000 But it's two different management teams bidding for the CEO job of Slavery Incorporated.

00:05:46.000 And if you've heard that before, I say that in the film Waking Life, directed by Richard Linklater.

00:06:17.000 And I was happy to hear him Wednesday say, in fact I have the quotes here, that he feels liberated, the weight is off of him, he's been carrying the water for the Republicans, and I have the quotes, covered up for them.

00:06:29.000 Well, Rush, you really didn't cover up.

00:06:31.000 I mean, we know that they're not conservative.

00:06:35.000 We don't need you to finally mea culpa and tell your audience that George Bush is the complete opposite of a conservative.

00:06:45.000 But regardless, at least he said it.

00:06:47.000 That shows a major shift.

00:06:52.000 Again, I'm frustrated here because it's the same story every week.

00:07:16.000 Is that Bush actually in a press conference on Thursday said he's happy in a way that the Democrats won because there were real conservatives in the house who would not pass the guest worker program which if you actually read the bill is the Conyers slash Kennedy bill and in it it says total legalization of anyone who's here it allows the corporations to bring in unlimited levels of skilled and unskilled

00:07:47.000 It gives them guest worker ID cards that if you actually read at the SPP.gov website, government websites, they will tell you that's the new North American ID card and that's what our driver's license already are now under federal law.

00:08:01.000 It's just a unit of that North American card telling the federal government which subsector of the North American Union and which state Which union, which unit of that union you come from.

00:08:14.000 This is all official now.

00:08:17.000 And so the Republicans, in name only, the RINOs, the neocons, are actually going to get a second wind now and be able to ram through legislation they couldn't get passed by the Republican House, where there was still some independence.

00:08:35.000 And so now you're going to see, barring a miracle, because most conservatives They still believe Bush.

00:08:41.000 They still believe that open borders and unlimited illegal aliens are, I guess, conservative.

00:08:46.000 I'm being sarcastic now.

00:08:47.000 The point is, we're in a lot of trouble and this has actually deadened and been a steam valve to dissipate a lot of angst and anger, populist anger, that cut across the entire political spectrum and really shattered the false paradigm of left-right.

00:09:08.000 Who do you think owns our Congress?

00:09:10.000 Our Senate and our House?

00:09:12.000 Who do you think owns our Governors?

00:09:13.000 It's lobbyists, and two-thirds of those lobbyists are multinational or foreign.

00:09:20.000 Every member of the House has at least two lobbyists on average assigned to them.

00:09:25.000 Members of the Senate have four lobbyists assigned to them.

00:09:29.000 Hundreds of millions of dollars a year federally just in lobbying.

00:15:14.000 It's an educational opportunity to show that both parties are bought and paid for.

00:21:04.000 Then it moves down through CNN, Fox, ABC, Nightly News, and then way down the list, what was it, at 24% was the Colbert and Daily Show reports.
