02:54:35.000 But the court allowed him to put her on to rebut the rebuttal because of the nature of the material that was raised.

02:54:43.000 And by the end, all she could do was rebut it by saying, oh, I am telling the truth.

02:54:48.000 But she'd already been bloodied.

02:54:50.000 And so the jury, actually the estimates are it was about 20 minutes.

02:54:55.000 They did not take time.

02:54:56.000 It would take longer than that just to go over the elements.

02:55:00.000 Couldn't that be used on appeal, the quick deliberation?

02:55:03.000 No, you can't do that because if they took 20 hours or 20 minutes, you can't question the jury's methods in determining.

02:55:12.000 If it came out and said, that would be a different thing.

02:55:18.000 Ninth Circuit just reversed one because the jury signed affidavits and said that we only convicted because we were afraid not to because the IRS had 15 people in the courtroom glaring at us throughout the trial and looking at us threateningly.
