01:37:50.000 After they came in and scraped off four or five feet, then when we poured the concrete for the foundation of the church, all the big cement cars were coming out and they were all telling us, oh yeah, we went out to the landfill and we poured concrete on top of the wreckage so archaeologists couldn't even dig it up and show what had happened.

01:38:07.000 And by the way, Oklahoma City, the same company came out and tore down the building, blew it up, and then took it and mixed concrete in with it at a landfill.

01:40:08.000 How are you found guilty of using firearms in the commission of a murder when you're found not guilty of murder?

01:40:12.000 The Supreme Court said, let him go, and last time I heard, Five years after the Supreme Court said let him go, they still hadn't, but I guess they had to.

01:40:22.000 I gave him a call, talked to him, and he said the last guy to be released was Livingston Fagan, who is from England.

01:40:37.000 But once they were released on early release, they were forbidden from having any contact with any of the former church members.

01:41:50.000 He had a couple of acres there, and they wanted it.

01:41:52.000 And so they came and condemned his house, and he was an eccentric vet, been an atomic veteran as well, from Bikini and a bunch of other places.

01:41:59.000 And he never bragged about it.

01:42:02.000 We saw all his medals and got into all his stuff and actually read his stuff.

01:42:06.000 And so we said, well, we'll try to fix this house.

01:42:09.000 The cops came and said, we're going to arrest you.

01:42:10.000 It's condemned.

01:42:11.000 And then we said, OK, well, let us get permits.

01:42:14.000 We're taking the property.

01:42:15.000 So then we just said, go ahead and arrest us.

01:42:16.000 And a city record, 14 days, fully furnished, built a brand new house.

01:42:21.000 He got to use it for about five years and died.

01:42:26.000 Then Mike Hanson really had the idea.

01:42:28.000 We were out there doing a story at Waco.

01:42:33.000 And, you know, interviewing Clyde Willem, I said, we ought to just build, instead of that little museum they've got that's one room, maybe a little bit bigger chapel so they can have a memorial for a few dozen people.

01:42:42.000 And then George Pulliam got involved and turned it into this gigantic thing.

01:42:45.000 Tell them what we ended up building.

01:42:48.000 George Pulliam's an architect engineer and he drew the plans for an actual church, not just some little I mean, this place is big, it's beautiful, and everything was totally volunteer.

01:43:07.000 They honored Saturday Sabbath, so we had to show up on Sunday to do our work.

01:43:11.000 And it took like, uh, what, eight?

01:43:12.000 Seven months.

01:43:15.000 Seven, eight months of Sundays and Wednesdays or whatever to build it.

01:43:18.000 It's out in the middle of nowhere.

01:43:20.000 And it's built out of hardy boards so the feds can't burn it down again.

01:43:22.000 But I guess if they can't burn it down, they're just going to ride over it with a highway.

01:43:28.000 Fireproofing treatment, and George and I fireproofed all the plywood and studs and everything.

01:43:40.000 And by the way, there have been people out there trying to burn stuff down.

01:43:44.000 They had a bus out there that they burned, people shooting at them.

01:43:49.000 And still, yeah, still, even recently, they've had people drive by, I don't know, local rednecks or whatever, shooting, and they've got bullet holes in the front of the church now.
