Alex Jones Show - 20080930_Tue_Alex

00:00:00.000 All right, we've got Colonel we've got Colonel Craig Roberts with us.

00:00:21.000 Again, five years in the Marine Corps.

00:00:24.000 Also in Vietnam, highly decorated sniper, best-selling author on that subject and many others.

00:00:29.000 We'll give you his website before he leaves us.

00:00:32.000 We just went live on PrisonPlanet.tv, Tommy Chung to talk about the police state and the felony drug war.

00:00:37.000 We'll be joining us in 30 minutes.

00:00:41.000 I knew about this about a week ago, and Ventura, after he told me, said, now don't tell anybody.

00:00:47.000 And I said, of course not.

00:00:49.000 He's on tomorrow for an hour with us, but he said soon it would be out.

00:00:54.000 Well, it is out, and I know some of the behind-the-scenes stuff, but we'll talk about it tomorrow.

00:00:58.000 This is up on Yahoo News.

00:01:00.000 Governor Jesse Ventura working on a new project for TruTV to investigate conspiracy theories.

00:01:06.000 And, of course, we woke him up to the fact that 9-11 was an inside job.

00:01:09.000 He's coming down here for a speech with myself and Willie Nelson later next month.

00:01:15.000 But before the show ends, I'll give you some details of that.

00:01:17.000 Steve Watson has more of the details.

00:01:19.000 It's up on PrisonPlanet.com and InfoWars.net right now.

00:01:23.000 I think I know a lot more than is in this article, but I'm not going to say anything really until Ventura is on tomorrow.

00:01:31.000 But I will tell you this.

00:01:34.000 I was pitched by the same group a year ago to do... You've seen that trailer online?

00:01:45.000 I forgot the name of the show.

00:01:46.000 They created a little mini pilot.

00:01:48.000 It was called Conspiracy Nation.

00:01:54.000 I'm going to, John, Google that, Alex Jones Conspiracy Nation, and later I want to play that little one-minute trailer from that internal pilot they made.

00:02:04.000 But hey, I'm glad.

00:02:05.000 I mean, Jesse Ventura, I've been thinking, man, this has got to be great with a TV show doing this.

00:02:08.000 I'm just glad that that is going on, that that did happen.

00:02:12.000 This is Time Warner is putting this out, by the way.

00:02:14.000 They know that's where the, quote, market is.

00:02:17.000 And that goes to what we were just saying, Colonel Roberts, that this is mainstream now.

00:02:21.000 The New World Order.

00:02:22.000 Mainline people know it was true.

00:02:24.000 They know we're right.

00:02:25.000 People now know we told them the truth.

00:02:27.000 I don't see how the New World Order is going to get away with this when even Mainline TV is doing shows about it, Doug.

00:02:34.000 Colonel Roberts?

00:02:35.000 Well, you know, it's absolutely incredible.

00:02:40.000 It's almost insulting that We have several things going on in the world.

00:02:46.000 If you get on the internet and you look at news sources overseas, and you see what's really going on in the world, and you can start putting all these things together, then you go back to our own news sources, and it's all been censored out.

00:02:57.000 You know, all the news that's fit to print according to them.

00:03:00.000 And so, the American public out here that only watches the three or four main networks, or listens to two or three places on radio, they don't get The picture of what's going on, obviously, if it's not in that two-second blurb up there on TV, it didn't happen.

00:03:17.000 And you go to talk to these people, as you and I do, and a lot of your listeners do, and we say, look, you know, did you hear about this?

00:03:23.000 This is what's going down.

00:03:24.000 It's already happened.

00:03:25.000 And they look at it and say, no, that can't be.

00:03:27.000 It couldn't happen here.

00:03:28.000 Couldn't happen in this country.

00:03:29.000 I don't know how many times I've heard that it can't happen in this country.

00:03:33.000 And yet, it's been happening incrementally for a long time.

00:03:36.000 Now, that's called Fabian Socialism.

00:03:38.000 Fabian Socialism is Is you take a society or a country one little step at a time. 0.83

00:03:44.000 You don't go kicking the door in and rushing with all your guns and shoot the place up.

00:03:48.000 And that's what they've been doing.

00:03:49.000 They've been doing it in the legislature, they've been doing it in the UN, and they've been doing it on the local level with a lot of your cities getting away with things that are totally unconstitutional.

00:03:59.000 So just taking private property away from somebody so they can build a hotel on it because it generates more property tax, that sort of thing.

00:04:06.000 And then turning around in our courts back up the illegal operations of your local governments.

00:04:11.000 So we've got a court renegade system out there that's gone amok. 0.89

00:04:15.000 We've got a Supreme Court that is a toss-up. 0.92

00:04:17.000 It's a roulette wheel.

00:04:18.000 You never know where that thing's going to land.

00:04:20.000 We've got a federal government right now made up of nothing but special interest groups like this giant Portuguese man-of-war that has all these different tentacles of different lengths that hang down. 0.80

00:04:33.000 And they all have their own agendas, and they're all using the same power of our money against us.

00:04:40.000 And it's all coming home to roost as we speak.

00:04:42.000 All right, stay there.

00:04:45.000 Stay there.

00:04:46.000 We're going to come back to Colonel Craig Roberts after this quick break.

00:04:49.000 I'm going to skip the 20 after break for internet listeners, because I don't want to waste any time.

00:04:53.000 I want to get back in what we were talking about at the end of the last hour, the plan for martial law, how that will unfold.

00:08:00.000 He's the T-Rex of political talk.

00:08:04.000 Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

00:08:21.000 Colonel Craig Roberts, our guest for another 20 minutes.

00:08:24.000 The Tommy Chong schedule will be popping in.

00:08:26.000 We've got two big guests coming up tomorrow.

00:08:34.000 One of them, Jesse Ventura, about the new TV show he's working on.

00:08:37.000 There's a lot more than just that, but I'm just going to keep my mouth shut.

00:08:45.000 But let's go back to Colonel Craig Roberts to talk about the really serious issues of the Criminal banking system trying to bankrupt the United States.

00:08:55.000 We're getting into martial law.

00:08:56.000 They want to use the military and police.

00:08:58.000 They've tried to train them.

00:08:59.000 They've got the microwave guns, the sound cannons.

00:09:01.000 They've got a certain percentage that will do it, but a lot of them are waking up now.

00:09:05.000 And so the federal government's openly said, we will use foreigners, but not just Mexican, Canadian, U.N.

00:09:10.000 troops as they've stated publicly.

00:09:12.000 We've given the evidence of that earlier.

00:09:14.000 But I want to recap that, Colonel Roberts, because a lot of folks just now joined us.

00:09:18.000 What about the fact that they're hiring all these illegal aliens for the army? 0.99

00:09:22.000 What about the fact they're hiring aggravated felons for the military?

00:09:24.000 I mean, that's all admitted.

00:09:26.000 So they're also doing what Stalin did there. 0.68

00:09:29.000 Break all that down for us.

00:09:31.000 When you have to resort to taking people who are, you know, known criminals, have felony records, and if you have to take People who aren't even Americans. 0.51

00:09:44.000 They come across the border illegally and you end up putting them in the military. 0.94

00:09:47.000 That's an indicator you've got a serious problem with your retention and with your strength.

00:09:53.000 During the Vietnam War, they had to resort to the draft.

00:09:57.000 We had Canadians that came across and joined the Marines and served with us.

00:10:00.000 Great distinction.

00:10:02.000 But when I went to boot camp in Los Angeles, I was on a Greyhound bus where there was three of us, I think, that did not have what was known as a choice, and the choice was from a judge that you're going to go to the state penitentiary at Chino or you're going to join the Marine Corps.

00:10:17.000 The judge gave these guys, and they elected joining the Marine Corps, most of them East L.A.

00:10:21.000 street gang type guys, and they ended up joining the Marine Corps and going to boot camps.

00:10:24.000 So the precedent had already been set.

00:10:27.000 We call it the dirty dozen mindset. 1.00

00:10:29.000 You go to the prison, you give these guys a chance to get out of prison to go die for their country type deal. 0.62

00:10:33.000 Well, when we start doing that, that's an indicator that, A, we don't have enough of our own people enlisting or re-enlisting to maintain the troop levels we want, or B, there's something else afoot that kind of stinks, and that could be a situation where we need to get people in that owe us more than they owe anybody else, so they're going to do what we tell them to do no matter what.

00:10:57.000 And those are the ones I would be afraid of.

00:10:59.000 Those are the ones who might be ordered to shoot Americans at a roadblock and do so.

00:11:03.000 What have they got to lose?

00:11:04.000 They're trying to get citizenship.

00:11:05.000 They're trying to get benefits. 0.95

00:11:06.000 They're trying to get something else.

00:11:08.000 They're trying to stay out of prison, whatever it is.

00:11:10.000 They would go along with that mindset.

00:11:13.000 Now, that's a minority of people in the military right now, but you never know what could happen in the future.

00:11:18.000 On the police side of the house, I've talked to police officers from California to Tennessee, and the mindset basically is the officers that are about 35 years old and older, Are seeing all of this happen and understanding what's going on and getting on board and learning more and educating themselves and talking to other people and getting more concerned, where those below 35, especially those in their 20s, they're not quite there yet.

00:11:45.000 They're the babes in the woods.

00:11:46.000 They're still going along with the yes or yes or three bags full, and they're still in what we call the Wyatt Earp Syndrome.

00:11:53.000 You know, I got a badge and a gun, I'll enforce the law and obey orders.

00:11:57.000 And that sort of thing.

00:11:58.000 And their scope hasn't focused out yet to see what's really going on in the world.

00:12:02.000 So, I kind of take those guys with a grain of salt because they haven't matured yet into the politics outside of their own police department or outside of their own city or county.

00:12:12.000 Another problem that I've seen going on, though, that's worried me, and we've talked about this one before, is cross-deputization.

00:12:18.000 Now, cross-deputization is when you have a state and a county and a city and a federal government And the tribal police all become deputized in their various organizations to where they can enforce any law they want, any place they go.

00:12:35.000 And it's the same as the guy that has jurisdiction there.

00:12:37.000 In other words, it's a multi-jurisdictional situation.

00:12:40.000 And it's going to end up at the point where we're going to have a federal police force, a uniformed federal police force, even though it may say the California Highway Patrol or the Houston Police Department or something like that on the guy's shoulder.

00:12:55.000 He'll have another patch or he'll have another ID card that will show him that he can be a federal marshal or a... Well, that's already happening.

00:13:04.000 I mean, that's already going on and it's federalized radios.

00:13:06.000 They put in these local regional command centers with the National Guard right next door and everything fused in together.

00:13:13.000 Well, and they're pulling it all together under the guise of Homeland Security because they couldn't make it work under FEMA like they wanted to.

00:13:19.000 FEMA was a disaster.

00:13:20.000 So now they're pulling it together under Homeland Security.

00:13:23.000 And, you know, it just makes me ill to think that you've got the same people doing the same thing that would represent my police department and TSA.

00:13:33.000 As far as I'm concerned, TSA is a total disaster. 0.52

00:13:36.000 I call them the airport Nazis. 0.96

00:13:40.000 It's another situation of overreaction to something by the federal government, but in the end they created bureaucracy with police powers that is totally terrifying.

00:13:49.000 You, I mean, you lose, when you walk into an airport today, for instance, you lose the First Amendment, you lose the Second Amendment, you lose the Fifth Amendment, you lose everything.

00:13:57.000 When you walk into that airport, you can't say anything, you can't have a bad look on your face, or you'll get profiled, you can't complain about anything.

00:14:05.000 Now they're putting brain scanners, not just in the airports, but on the streets.

00:14:08.000 And they make you walk through systems that scan your naked body.

00:14:12.000 Those are now going on the streets, not just airports.

00:14:15.000 Well, and on top of that, you know, we're going the same direction.

00:14:19.000 As they did in England, in the UK.

00:14:21.000 And I just read this morning, as a matter of fact, about the crime rate in the UK, especially in London, has skyrocketed since the British public has basically become disarmed.

00:14:33.000 But their excuse was, well, we think we've got some good video imagery of the murderers.

00:14:38.000 There's three of them.

00:14:39.000 We think we've got some good video imagery of them.

00:14:41.000 Well, whoop-dee-doo!

00:14:42.000 That doesn't put them in jail, and it didn't save the guy's life that's lying there bleeding in the street.

00:14:47.000 But the cameras in England are supposed to solve everything, so what are we doing?

00:14:51.000 We're following it down the same direction.

00:14:53.000 We're putting cameras all over the place.

00:14:55.000 Now, I had a phone call the other day from somebody who said, hey, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, we've got cameras on the intersections of every major street now.

00:15:04.000 Who owns those cameras?

00:15:05.000 What are they looking at?

00:15:06.000 And so I said, well, you know, I never even thought about it, but I'll check in, because I don't live in Tulsa anymore.

00:15:10.000 I moved out of there and moved to the country when I thought it was a good time to do so.

00:15:15.000 But I started making some phone calls, and I called the police department, and they didn't know.

00:15:18.000 They're not our cameras.

00:15:19.000 They belong to the Department of Transportation, or the city, or somebody.

00:15:24.000 So I called the city street department.

00:15:26.000 No, they're not ours.

00:15:26.000 I called all around.

00:15:27.000 Finally, everybody that seemed to know said, well, we think they're Department of Transportation cameras.

00:15:33.000 Well, what are they doing on our traffic lights?

00:15:37.000 And what are they looking for?

00:15:38.000 What are they looking at?

00:15:39.000 What are they for?

00:15:40.000 Well, no one could answer that question.

00:15:42.000 So I guess if you go up to the State Capitol and find whoever's responsible, you can get an answer.

00:15:47.000 But we're seeing this all over the country right now.

00:15:49.000 Well, what does it do?

00:15:50.000 It makes citizens paranoid.

00:15:51.000 I've heard people say, well, you know, when it comes down to it, I'll just take my shotgun out there and start shooting those cameras off the tops of the polls.

00:15:57.000 Well, when people start thinking about that, you know we've got some problems.

00:16:01.000 And these are the average people.

00:16:02.000 These aren't people that belong to a militia.

00:16:04.000 These aren't people who would normally go out and break the law.

00:16:06.000 They're just average people who have had enough.

00:16:08.000 They're fed up.

00:16:09.000 And they're tired of big brotherism, and they really, Americans really hate people prying in our private business.

00:16:15.000 But it's getting worse all the time, and I think it's a spring that sooner or later is going to be compressed to the point to where it flashes back, and it's going to be a big surprise.

00:16:23.000 That's when there'll be federal government entities step in and say, we have public unrest, we've got to stop civil disturbances here, these people can't get away with this, we're the boss, they aren't.

00:16:33.000 You know, I mean, totally backwards on that.

00:16:36.000 And that's when we're going to start seeing military-type reaction to it in the form of martial law.

00:16:43.000 Well, again, the elite running the planet are criminal, they are out of control, and they are using the police state to try to guard themselves

00:16:58.000 from prosecution from their past crimes and they want to use a police state apparatus to further consolidate their control and we better get control of our local governments now we better educate our mayors and people now because a few years ago they wouldn't listen now they are listening I'm talking about the Austin police chief you know

00:17:16.000 I thought he was putting me on behind the scenes and on air saying he's a fan of the show and believes a lot of it but then I found out people that know him separately at parties and behind the scenes at TV stations and radio stations he's doing Alex Jones imitations and talking about me constantly so I guess he's waking up and if I was a police chief I knew about the stuff.

00:17:35.000 I would be thinking about it all the time.

00:17:36.000 I mean, and I see that all over the country with police, as much as I bash them for violating the Constitution.

00:17:42.000 I think at the end of the day, they realize that it is this country they owe allegiance to, and the bad guys are in control of the government, just like Hitler was in control of Germany.

00:17:50.000 Well, you know, Alex, I'm an old X-Files junkie.

00:17:54.000 I really like that show.

00:17:56.000 But every once in a while, they come up with a real jewel, and one of the things that they said in there was, trust no one.

00:18:01.000 I don't know if you ever watched it or remember.

00:18:02.000 It says, trust no one.

00:18:04.000 No, I remember.

00:18:05.000 One of the deals.

00:18:06.000 Well, when it comes to chiefs of police, that is the theme.

00:18:09.000 Don't trust a single chief of police out there until you get to know them personally, like you did with this guy.

00:18:15.000 Oh, I'm not even saying he's perfect.

00:18:16.000 I didn't trust him until I heard behind-the-scenes stuff.

00:18:18.000 The point is, is that they're waking up, they're paying attention.

00:18:21.000 Well, yeah, one way or the other.

00:18:23.000 They're getting on board one way or the other, slowly but surely.

00:18:25.000 But you've got to understand, and when I say you, I mean... They may be getting on board because they've been told to be friendly.

00:18:31.000 Well, here's the way it works.

00:18:34.000 There are chiefs of police organizations out there.

00:18:37.000 There's the Major Chiefs Association, there's the National Chiefs Association, there's several others.

00:18:42.000 That they belong to, and they're like clubs, and they all share stuff, and they all come under different federal grant monies, and so on and so forth.

00:18:49.000 And what they do is they get together, and most police chiefs of any major city is going to be a political appointee.

00:18:57.000 He's going to be under the, you know, serve at the discretion of... No, I agree.

00:19:00.000 You've got to watch police chiefs a lot more than the average cop, because that's who's going to be infiltrated.

00:19:04.000 And, well, most of your police chiefs' organizations are very left-wing, they're very liberal, they're very socialist.

00:19:10.000 And you have to be very careful.

00:19:12.000 They're anti-Second Amendment.

00:19:14.000 They're anti-First Amendment.

00:19:15.000 I mean, there's so many things that a lot of these chiefs fall in... They wouldn't get picked for that position if they weren't that way.

00:19:22.000 If you get a good conservative right-wing police chief, he's the odd man out.

00:19:26.000 You don't see that very much.

00:19:27.000 Now, you'll see that in the sheriffs because they're elected by the people.

00:19:29.000 There's a lot of good right-wing sheriffs out there.

00:19:31.000 There's a lot of good American patriotic home... And by right-wing, you mean paleo-conservative?

00:19:38.000 Yeah, I'm talking true conservative America.

00:19:40.000 Yeah, we're going to skip this break for the InfoWars stream listeners and PrisonPlanet.tv folks.

00:19:44.000 For everybody else, we'll be back in four minutes and we appreciate everybody tuning in, all the sponsors and support.

00:19:50.000 We'll continue with Colonel Craig Roberts.

00:19:52.000 Got about ten minutes left with him today.

00:19:55.000 It's always great having him.

00:19:56.000 We've got to have him back sooner to continue talking about all this as it unfolds.

00:20:02.000 Okay, Colonel Roberts, let's continue.

00:20:04.000 It's internet only right now, but that's a lot of folks watching and listening.

00:20:09.000 How do you see this unfolding?

00:20:10.000 You know, we've talked about what's going on, who's behind the power structure, different things that are happening.

00:20:16.000 I mean, how do you see it unfolding with the international bankers right now?

00:20:20.000 I mean, I know you're not predicting, but what do you see happening?

00:20:23.000 Well, you know, what this is, this is October.

00:20:27.000 And October is the month of Satan.

00:20:29.000 And October is when you have your October surprises.

00:20:31.000 October is when a lot of evil things happen.

00:20:33.000 October is when we have Halloween.

00:20:35.000 I mean, there's so many things that happen in the month of October leading up to what?

00:20:38.000 The election.

00:20:39.000 So within the next six weeks, whatever's going to break loose is going to break loose.

00:20:44.000 And I actually think that it's going to happen within the next seven to ten days.

00:20:49.000 Within the next seven to ten days, and we've been looking at this, all my intel guys, buddies that I've talked to, we all kind of, you know, try to war game the different scenarios out.

00:20:58.000 And we all feel, since about last April or May, that it was all pointing to September or October of this year, because it's an election year in several other years.

00:21:08.000 No, I've been hearing that for a year, that this is the key zone.

00:21:11.000 This is it.

00:21:11.000 From all sorts of sources, yeah.

00:21:13.000 This is the window.

00:21:14.000 This is their window of opportunity, whatever they're going to do.

00:21:17.000 And like your last guest said, I'm not real sure that we'll have the next election.

00:21:21.000 It could be to the point to where they suspend everything because of economic collapse.

00:21:27.000 Just like with Roosevelt.

00:21:28.000 Don't change horses in the middle of a stream.

00:21:30.000 Exactly.

00:21:32.000 And they could declare a national emergency, PDD 25, and all the rest of that stuff gets activated.

00:21:37.000 So you think they might be willing to be that obvious?

00:21:40.000 I think so.

00:21:40.000 I think because the American people, if the media keeps pumping this big panic on us, It's really not that big of a deal.

00:21:46.000 I know, isn't it amazing to see the President saying depression?

00:21:50.000 I mean, that should cause one right there! 0.93

00:21:52.000 Oh yeah, he's the guy that's supposed to be saying, it's not a huge deal, don't panic, everything's going to be fine, we're just going to have to fix it and shore up what we need to shore up, but it's not your responsibility to do so, we'll take care of it.

00:22:08.000 You know, the whole thing boils down to the way the media is playing this thing up.

00:22:13.000 I mean, you watch the guy on the morning show at the stock market, and he's panicking before the stock market even opens up.

00:22:19.000 He's up there getting so emotional and waving the mic around about how bad everything is, and it could really go downhill today and yada yada.

00:22:26.000 Well, what that does, that spurs people to make it that way, because they call their broker and they say, sell everything I've got, get rid of it.

00:22:33.000 And the price goes down, the price goes down, more people panic, and it's a snowball effect. 0.67

00:22:37.000 And it's stupid how many sheep are out there who will buy off on this, because here's what's happening. 0.64

00:22:43.000 Somebody's out there buying that stuff. 0.98

00:22:45.000 Now, let's rewind the tape back to the Napoleonic Wars.

00:22:50.000 Remember when Nathan Rothschild was at the London Stock Exchange?

00:22:55.000 During the Battle of Waterloo, and the Rothschild... No, no, I mean my new film, Endgame, covers that. 0.77

00:23:00.000 It's historical fact that they lied and said that Napoleon had won, it crashed by 90-something percent, and he bought it up.

00:23:06.000 And that's when they got their real power.

00:23:08.000 Well, the way it happened was, they had a... the Rothschild couriers were allowed to go any place.

00:23:13.000 They had a red bag that had R on it, on their horse, and they could go any place because the troops let them through because they sent messages to both sides.

00:23:20.000 And they were financing both sides, yeah.

00:23:22.000 And so the Rothschild Courier would ride up to the London Stock Exchange bond market and he would go inside and he would whisper in Nathan's ear, who's a big fat guy sitting in the back of the room, and Nathan would just hang his head and just look terrible.

00:23:33.000 Oh my god, what's happening here?

00:23:35.000 Oh jeez!

00:23:36.000 And everybody's taking this as...

00:23:39.000 Wellington's losing the Battle of Waterloo.

00:23:41.000 So they start selling the stock.

00:23:43.000 And then, you know, a few hours later another writer would come in.

00:23:45.000 He'd go back there and Nathan Rothschild would just wring his hands and just, oh my gosh, I can't believe it.

00:23:50.000 The news is really bad.

00:23:51.000 But he wouldn't say anything to anybody.

00:23:52.000 Yeah, he would stand by the pillar pulling his hair out.

00:23:55.000 Oh, yeah.

00:23:57.000 Really going through the deal.

00:23:58.000 Well, what that was, was that was mind control.

00:24:00.000 All right, here we go.

00:24:01.000 We're back to the full audience.

00:24:02.000 Let's continue.

00:24:03.000 Boom, bop-a-boom. 0.97

00:24:08.000 Jimmy Vaughn.

00:24:11.000 Boom, boom, bop-a-boom.

00:24:13.000 Final segment with Colonel Craig Roberts.

00:24:15.000 I've got to get him up a lot sooner.

00:24:17.000 He was getting into the Rothschilds, panicking the stock exchange, basically putting out the disinfo that Napoleon had won the war to consolidate.

00:24:26.000 And it's through these crashes these elites have the power.

00:24:30.000 And the Rothschilds are the same elite that we had then, that we have today. 0.84

00:24:34.000 Finishing up with that, Colonel Craig Roberts.

00:24:37.000 Well, and so here's Rothschild back there acting like they're all gloom and doom.

00:24:41.000 Well, all these people are selling their stock and bonds in the Bank of England.

00:24:46.000 And, well, somebody's buying it up, and at the end of the day, here comes this other writer up, and he... I'm sorry, it was another writer, but it wasn't a Rothschild courier. 0.55

00:24:55.000 It was a British Army officer, and he throws the door open, walks in, and says, God bless the king.

00:25:00.000 Wellington is the victor at Waterloo.

00:25:02.000 And everybody looked around like, my God, what have I done?

00:25:05.000 And what they did is they sold their country down the drain because they panicked.

00:25:08.000 And because they panicked... I mean, isn't this the definition of fire in the theater?

00:25:14.000 To have the Secretary of the Treasury, the President, the Democratic leaders, the Republican leaders, running around saying, Depression!

00:25:20.000 Depression!

00:25:21.000 If you don't do what we want, then they hammer the market.

00:25:25.000 You know, through the Plunge Protection Team, drive it down.

00:25:28.000 I mean, this is pure terrorism!

00:25:29.000 People can debate whether 9-11 was an inside job, but there's no doubt this economic terrorism, stealing over a trillion, two hundred billion yesterday, biggest one-day drop in history of the Dow, I mean, that's terrorism, isn't it, Colonel?

00:25:42.000 Well, in my mind it is, because it's political terrorism, it's mental terrorism, it's fear.

00:25:47.000 Well, what's the definition of terrorism?

00:25:49.000 It's instilling fear for political purposes.

00:25:53.000 That's what they're doing.

00:25:54.000 It's unbelievable.

00:25:55.000 And it's fooling some people.

00:25:56.000 They're saying, OK, I don't want to lose my 401K and my pension.

00:26:00.000 I guess I'll be for the bailout.

00:26:01.000 And then they sign the blank check.

00:26:03.000 As Bloomberg reports, it's really $5 trillion.

00:26:09.000 The whole thing is a shift of power, and it's creating a debt.

00:26:14.000 Yeah, it's the illusion that we owe it and that they, the bankers and engineers, are the saviors.

00:26:21.000 I've got to have you back sooner rather than later, Colonel, because so much is happening.

00:26:25.000 Let me set you up in the next few weeks to come on the radio show as this unfolds.

00:26:29.000 In closing, give out your website.

00:26:31.000 I know you're a best-selling author, but you've kind of gotten out of that business.

00:26:33.000 You've got a few of your books still left in your shopping cart.

00:26:37.000 Tell us how we get them.

00:26:39.000 Go to www.RifleWarrior.com.

00:26:41.000 Rifle as in gun, warrior as in soldier, all one word.

00:26:44.000 www.RifleWarrior.com.

00:26:45.000 It's all out there in the open.

00:26:47.000 Nothing's hidden.

00:26:48.000 Well, my friend, we really appreciate you.

00:26:50.000 www.RifleWarrior.com.

00:26:52.000 And would you personally ask the military and police to... I know most of them have already done it and found out we're telling the truth, but those that are on the fence, they need to look at what we're saying, don't they?

00:27:02.000 Well, and I think more and more all the time because it's pretty obvious.

00:27:05.000 It's right in their face right now.

00:27:07.000 And it's affecting them and their pensions and their plans for the future.

00:27:11.000 Well, they just better figure out Crooks run the government or they're going to win!

00:27:15.000 And people may not like my delivery style, but I've just tried my best to warn people, and now we're not talking about it coming.

00:27:20.000 We're in the middle of it, exactly as we said it would unfold.

00:27:22.000 Colonel Roberts, thank you for coming on with us.

00:27:24.000 We'll see you next time.

00:27:25.000 You bet.

00:27:26.000 Take care.

00:27:26.000 There goes Colonel Craig Roberts.

00:27:28.000 We're scheduled to have Tommy Chung, and we didn't get time zones messed up.

00:27:31.000 He's here.

00:27:31.000 Oh, he's already here?

00:27:33.000 I just got him on hold.

00:27:34.000 You already got him.

00:27:35.000 We're going to go to break and come back with him.

00:27:37.000 But before I do that, John, did you get that YouTube clip?

00:27:41.000 The latest one Aaron just sent you?

00:27:42.000 Yep, I'm recording it right now.

00:27:43.000 Okay, I'm going to play that after the break.

00:27:45.000 I talked to Jesse Ventura, who's coming down to town to speak with me and Willie Nelson at an anti-war slash 9-11 truth event later in October.

00:27:53.000 Willie invited myself, and then I said, hey, why don't we have Ventura come down?

00:27:57.000 And he said, yeah.

00:27:59.000 And I'll tell you more about that event in the next few days, but Jesse Ventura is on with us tomorrow.

00:28:02.000 And I was talking to Jesse a few days ago.

00:28:03.000 He told me all this great stuff he's involved in.

00:28:06.000 Let's just say this, he's not going back to Mexico.

00:28:09.000 And he told me, do not tell anybody about this.

00:28:13.000 So I didn't.

00:28:13.000 I just said, there might be some big news Wednesday on the show with Governor Ventura.

00:28:19.000 Well, Time Warner put out a press release.

00:28:21.000 They're going to do a TV series with him.

00:28:23.000 And I know all about this TV series, because I know the company that pitched it to him at TruTV, because they pitched me a year ago, a year and a half ago, two years ago.

00:28:33.000 And all the major CEOs.

00:28:35.000 I had a meeting with the President.

00:28:36.000 And again, I don't go out pitching TV shows, folks.

00:28:38.000 I'm busy doing what I'm doing.

00:28:39.000 I don't worry about it.

00:28:40.000 It was going to be very grueling.

00:28:41.000 They wanted me to be the producer.

00:28:43.000 But it went all the way to the top a year and a half ago.

00:28:45.000 And three different networks said, we know this will get ratings.

00:28:48.000 But corporate controllers at CEO level basically said, no.

00:28:56.000 They said, that's too dangerous.

00:28:58.000 And now, this was pitched to a bunch of people.

00:29:03.000 But it's basically the same show.

00:29:05.000 But I am very excited for Governor Ventura.

00:29:08.000 And there's other stuff I know I can't talk about on air because he asked me not to.

00:29:12.000 But then, suddenly, Aaron walks in here 30 minutes ago with a PR Newswire deal released by Time Warner about Jesse Ventura.

00:29:21.000 And by the way, this is only the tip of the iceberg.

00:29:23.000 We'll see how much he can say tomorrow when he's on the show with us.

00:29:31.000 I'm really excited to have Tommy Chong, of course of Cheech and Chong fame and a lot more.

00:29:35.000 They're touring together after decades of not touring together.

00:29:38.000 And someday we're going to get him and Cheech on together.

00:29:40.000 That'll really be historical.

00:29:42.000 But we're really honored to have Tommy Chong about to join us after this quick break.

00:29:47.000 But tomorrow we don't just have Jesse Ventura, another huge secret guest.

00:29:51.000 We're on the march.

00:29:53.000 The Empire's on the run.

00:29:55.000 Alex Jones and the GCN Radio Network.

00:33:23.000 Tommy Chong is our guest for the next 27 minutes.

00:33:26.000 And we are going to get Cheech on with him.

00:33:28.000 That is the holy grail.

00:33:30.000 These two guys together because they just got reunited.

00:33:32.000 They're on tour.

00:33:33.000 We're going to tell you all about that and how I can see it when they're coming to town.

00:33:36.000 I'm going to go interview them behind the scenes, maybe even get them in studio.

00:33:39.000 But regardless, Tommy Chong is a great guy, and we want to get an update on all the stuff that's happening with some of the films he's involved in, some of the persecution he's gone through for standing up against the police state, but mainly about the Cheech and Chong reunion tour, which is just fabulous.

00:33:55.000 Now, before we do that, again, this just broke.

00:33:58.000 I've known about it for a while.

00:34:01.000 I was basically pitched this TV show without looking for it, and it was pitched all these big ways.

00:34:06.000 They said, we know it'll get huge ratings.

00:34:09.000 Frankly, another pilot was shot for Discovery Channel, and one of the heads got axed over it.

00:34:15.000 I don't want to go into a long thing, but it looks like with Ventura it's going to happen.

00:34:21.000 So I wanted to play this trailer, and I can't say any more, but I'm glad Jesse got this job.

00:34:28.000 Here it is.

00:34:30.000 You're either evil or you're good.

00:34:32.000 These are the stories you hear in whispered conversations.

00:34:36.000 We're both in Skull and Bones, the secret society.

00:34:40.000 It's so sick that we can't talk about it.

00:34:44.000 One would think it wouldn't take very long for that to happen, dealing with people like this.

00:34:48.000 These are the stories that offer different explanations.

00:34:52.000 These mothers have planned every monster you can imagine, and I do this because I'm the lead in this country!

00:34:58.000 They are the stories that must be told.

00:35:03.000 Suspicion of our politicians is not new.

00:35:08.000 But the number of citizens who distrust the government today has reached an alarming new height.

00:35:14.000 In New York City, nearly two-thirds of the population believes there is more to 9-11 than has been told.

00:35:21.000 I believe the title was Bin Laden determined to attack inside the United States.

00:35:26.000 But where can viewers turn?

00:35:28.000 American Conspiracy.

00:35:32.000 Our nation's preeminent conspiracy expert, radio host Alex Jones, takes us beyond the stock stories of the mainstream media.

00:35:42.000 He asks the questions others won't consider.

00:35:44.000 Have you been there for the ceremony with the cremation of Carys?

00:35:49.000 Frankly, I don't think that's something I need to talk to you about.

00:35:53.000 He explores the places others only talk about.

00:35:56.000 You're beginning to sink deeper into the rabbit hole now.

00:35:59.000 He takes us through the doors others won't enter.

00:36:02.000 We can't begin to imagine what we're going to discover.

00:36:05.000 All right, it goes on and on.

00:36:13.000 Ha ha ha.

00:36:14.000 Anyways, folks, I'm so excited.

00:36:17.000 Can you imagine Jesse Ventura?

00:36:18.000 Because that's what they're doing.

00:36:20.000 Time Warner's announced it.

00:36:21.000 He's going to be charging around investigating the New World Order.

00:36:25.000 And I'm just going to leave it there.

00:36:26.000 I'm going to leave it there.

00:36:28.000 Who knows?

00:36:28.000 We'll be popping in.

00:36:29.000 I could never imagine this as a kid.

00:36:33.000 Listen, let's go to Tommy Chong.

00:36:35.000 Hey, Tommy, you went public for 9-11 Truth a few months ago, I guess six, eight months ago now on this show.

00:36:40.000 It's really great to see the fact that this movement of not trusting what Big Brother tells us is going mainstream.

00:36:47.000 Tommy Chong.

00:36:47.000 Yeah, it sure is, man.

00:36:49.000 You know, I watched 9-11 was an inside job, you know, the video you did.

00:36:56.000 And I was mesmerized for the hour and a half or whatever it was that it took because it opened my eyes.

00:37:04.000 I had those feelings, but it never really jelled until I saw the proof.

00:37:14.000 And now, just everything makes sense.

00:37:19.000 Again, and look what they're doing today, attacking Wall Street.

00:37:23.000 They're using Wall Street as the 9-11 to get more money out of the people.

00:37:29.000 Oh, you're absolutely on target there.

00:37:31.000 There's no doubt that they are orchestrating this.

00:37:34.000 I mean, this is financial terrorism to say, give us complete immunity for all the Wall Street crimes, give us trillions, it's not $700 billion, or we'll have a depression and then the biggest plunge in the market ever when Congress says no and they blame it on Congress.

00:37:50.000 That is amazing, Tommy.

00:37:52.000 Yeah, and the thing is, but it's like gambling.

00:37:55.000 You know, what they're doing, and thank God the people aren't going for it, is that, you know, these guys have got a gambling Jones and they keep losing.

00:38:05.000 And they want more money, more money.

00:38:07.000 They're like a junkie that needs more heroin, you know, and they'll never get enough.

00:38:12.000 And they're trying to use that.

00:38:14.000 I mean, you've seen how McCain tried to Be the knight in shining armor rescuing everything and he stuck his foot right into it when it fell on its face.

00:38:26.000 And it wasn't just the Democrats that shot it down, it was the real conservative Republicans shot it down.

00:38:34.000 Absolutely, and you talk about a heroine head as an analogy, or as an example.

00:38:39.000 This is like a heroine head robbing your house of your stereo and your jewelry, except it's Ben Bernanke and Mr. Treasury Secretary Paulson and Bush that are doing it.

00:38:50.000 Yeah, well it's Bush and his cronies.

00:38:53.000 It's the final insult, you know, it's goodbye, we don't care about you.

00:38:58.000 And like you said, who was it, I think it was Michael Moore pointed out the fact that Bush is totally owned by the Saudis. 0.78

00:39:09.000 By the way, Michael Moore now is in our new film, Truth Rising, saying that he's looking at 9-11 being an inside job and police and firemen have told him there were bombs in the building.

00:39:17.000 I mean, they're going to have a big problem when Michael Moore and all these other people are starting to go public, Tommy.

00:39:22.000 They're in deep trouble.

00:39:23.000 Well, I know, I know.

00:39:24.000 And the funny thing is, like, you know, I mentioned this to Cheech, you know, and Cheech, his dad was a cop.

00:39:31.000 And Cheech is as straight as can be, you know, on certain things.

00:39:35.000 And Cheech was very, very defensive for these guys.

00:39:40.000 You know, they said, no, no, no, no, no.

00:39:42.000 He just laughed it off, you know, like, oh, no, that would never happen.

00:39:46.000 And he said, you know, and my son, too, Paris, he said, oh, no, you can make any film, you know, say anything you want, you know, with the editing and that.

00:39:56.000 And so I never said anything.

00:39:58.000 I said, you know, you guys just got to watch this film.

00:40:00.000 Just watch it yourself.

00:40:01.000 Make up your own mind.

00:40:02.000 You know, I'm not going to be trying to sell anybody anything.

00:40:06.000 What film was that that you showed them?

00:40:08.000 Yours.

00:40:09.000 Yours.

00:40:09.000 Oh, really?

00:40:10.000 What effect did that have on them?

00:40:10.000 A Terror Storm?

00:40:13.000 Well, he hasn't seen it yet.

00:40:14.000 Okay, good.

00:40:15.000 Oh, you just gave it to him.

00:40:16.000 Neither would have seen it.

00:40:17.000 So that's what I'm going to make sure Cheech sees it before he comes on the show.

00:40:20.000 Well, I know that Terror Storm, that's what I first gave Ventura two years ago in person in San Antonio, then led him to investigate, then his son gave him loose change and Ventura woke up.

00:40:30.000 And that's how this is working is person by person, you know, waking others up and it's so exciting.

00:40:36.000 Yeah, it is.

00:40:37.000 And it makes so much sense.

00:40:39.000 You know, because, you know, you can see active terrorism You know, like in other countries, you know, but why would they pick those particular targets?

00:40:51.000 Well, why would the Arabs want to bring the wrath into their country? 0.99

00:40:54.000 But, I mean, larger than that, what I ought to send you, you probably know about it, but I can send you the video clip of Keith Oberman reporting and Cy Hirsch of New Yorker that Cheney, just three months ago, planned to paint up US patrol boats like Iranian boats and have Navy SEALs dress up Dress up as Iranians and attack our ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

00:41:19.000 I mean, that's admitted!

00:41:21.000 Well, yeah, all that hanky-panky's going on.

00:41:27.000 And you know, the funny thing is, Alex, is that these guys, you know, they're so short-sighted.

00:41:37.000 It just boggles the mind how shallow you have to be.

00:41:43.000 To go to that length, for what purpose?

00:41:48.000 There's some sort of insanity that's really hard to comprehend.

00:41:56.000 Well that's what a lot of our guests have been saying is that they, and I've interviewed a lot of people who are in the government or been in the government, and they say that that's what this current crew was known as when they were junior 20 years ago was as the crazies.

00:42:08.000 Yeah.

00:42:09.000 And they have nicknames like the Prince of Darkness, Richard Perle, and that they do, they're risk takers, like psychopathic gamblers.

00:42:18.000 They want to get caught, they want to go too far.

00:42:21.000 Yeah, well they're like those, you know, like the Unabombers and those guys where they They want the publicity. 1.00

00:42:29.000 They want the serial killers.

00:42:32.000 They want the notoriety.

00:42:34.000 They want to show people how clever they were.

00:42:36.000 And if they're so clever they can't get caught, that defeats their purpose.

00:42:40.000 And so they leave these signs around so that you will find out who were the nuts that Perpetrated all this disaster stuff.

00:42:52.000 Exactly.

00:42:53.000 Exactly.

00:42:54.000 Well, after World War II, we were a very trusting country.

00:42:57.000 We began trusting our government too much.

00:42:59.000 We'd just beaten the evil Nazis. 0.81

00:43:02.000 And then the people became very gullible.

00:43:04.000 But now the process of waking up to both parties and the whole system is pretty much complete.

00:43:09.000 9% approval rating for Congress.

00:43:11.000 Bush has the lowest approval rating of any president ever.

00:43:14.000 And 90 plus percent against the bailout.

00:43:17.000 No matter all the fear-mongering that the bankers engage in, it looks to me like it's like somebody, you know, a cousin or something that cheats you one too many times and you just say, I'm done with you.

00:43:27.000 Oh, yeah.

00:43:28.000 Well, you know, when I was in prison, the first thing I eventually learned, you know, that everybody has an angle, you know.

00:43:39.000 And these so-called friends would come up and be, you know, give me things and, you know, talk nice to me and know all about my family and that.

00:43:47.000 And they're all con artists.

00:43:50.000 And they're all slick, slick, slick, because everybody's got an angle.

00:43:54.000 And that's what you find out, especially in the political world, you know, that they make it look like one thing and then Then they turn around, you know, I mean, like they do.

00:44:08.000 The problem is, is that after they get caught, then they're not trusted anymore, and it's scary to say that a minority of people in government now don't have an angle, and even a minority maybe of the general public, I mean, I'm not trying to be negative, there's a lot of good people, but I'm, look, I've just learned what you've learned, that even common folks have angles.

00:44:30.000 Oh yeah!

00:44:30.000 Instead of just stating what they want up front, I don't understand it.

00:44:34.000 That's what I'm saying.

00:44:35.000 That's what I learned in jail.

00:44:36.000 I mean, you find out that the people loved the game.

00:44:40.000 They loved the game.

00:44:42.000 They loved this, you know, like I was in there with this security thief, you know, and he made millions and millions of dollars stealing, you know, manipulating the stock market.

00:44:54.000 And while he was in there, he had another company that was, guess what, running mortgages.

00:45:01.000 So while he was in prison, he was running in mortgages.

00:45:04.000 He was into mortgages.

00:45:06.000 That's what he was doing while he was doing time.

00:45:08.000 And of course, when the mortgaging collapsed, of course it collapsed because that's what these guys were in for.

00:45:15.000 But his thrill wasn't making the millions and millions of dollars because he was so stoned all the time that he never enjoyed it.

00:45:21.000 Enjoyed his money.

00:45:22.000 Ever.

00:45:23.000 It was the fact that he could do it.

00:45:25.000 Well, that's what my dad years ago told me.

00:45:27.000 He would say, and my grandfather too, he'd say, son, there's people that would rather steal a quarter from you than make a hundred dollars with you honestly.

00:45:34.000 They get a thrill out of screwing people and lying to people.

00:45:39.000 And that's exactly what we have in power right today.

00:45:39.000 Yeah.

00:45:43.000 You know, that's what the Republican party is, is filled with these people.

00:45:48.000 That are enjoying the game, like Karl Rove, for instance.

00:45:51.000 He gets more kick out of seeing how gullible these people are.

00:45:55.000 By the way, as you know, Tommy, he's said things like that to reporters before.

00:46:01.000 Sure, I know.

00:46:03.000 Same as Abramoff.

00:46:04.000 Remember when Abramoff was stealing from the Indians?

00:46:07.000 He was bragging about it.

00:46:08.000 It's unbelievable.

00:46:09.000 I want to get into the tour.

00:46:10.000 I want to get into some of the things that have happened with you, aka Tommy Chong.

00:46:14.000 The government seizing the film, but that only made it bigger.

00:46:17.000 I want to plug some of the stuff you're up to, because we really love having you on to support everything you're doing, Tommy Chong.

00:46:25.000 I mean, let's go ahead and get into that now first.

00:46:27.000 Sure.

00:46:30.000 Giving us the latest developments since you were on with us a few months ago with what happened with the film you were involved with and what's happened since then with the continued persecution that you're under where Henry Paulson can steal hundreds of billions but you're in trouble for selling pipes.

00:46:44.000 Yeah, for shipping a bong across... No, thinking! 0.99

00:46:49.000 Thinking about shipping a bong.

00:46:50.000 Because it was a conspiracy charge.

00:46:53.000 And again, they had to hire someone to infiltrate your group to secretly mail it when you on record told them not to mail it to the city.

00:47:00.000 Oh my God.

00:47:02.000 That's right.

00:47:03.000 And it's thinking.

00:47:04.000 It's a thought crime.

00:47:05.000 It was a thought crime.

00:47:06.000 But thinking of selling a paraphernalia of bong across the state line.

00:47:10.000 And there's a law.

00:47:12.000 And you know who authored that law?

00:47:15.000 Joseph Biden.

00:47:17.000 Unbelievable.

00:47:18.000 So then a film comes out about this.

00:47:21.000 They don't want the film out.

00:47:22.000 Tell folks what happens.

00:47:24.000 Oh, well, what happened, the film wasn't, it was in some financial trouble.

00:47:29.000 And then, you know, because we couldn't get finishing money.

00:47:32.000 And then Matt Stevens of Urine Luck, you know, the drug testing company, That helps people pass drug tests.

00:47:42.000 He stepped up and he bought half interest in the film.

00:47:48.000 His warehouse was stocking all the AKA Tommy Chong film.

00:47:55.000 When he was raided by the Feds, and by the way, it was the same person, Mary Beth Buchanan, raided Matt Stevens' offices.

00:48:05.000 And you know what the charge is, Alex?

00:48:08.000 The charge is that because his drug testing is causing people to withhold information from the IRS because of his drug testing.

00:48:21.000 Unbelievable.

00:48:21.000 I mean, they bend over.

00:48:23.000 That is their charge.

00:48:24.000 And so what they did when they confiscated, of course, all his computers and, you know, it's a big drug testing ring they broke up, you know.

00:48:34.000 And basically what he did was sell urine.

00:48:36.000 That was his job, was selling urine to people that needed urine.

00:48:43.000 So they got the urine and then they found the AKA Tommy Chong CDs or DVDs and so they confiscated a bunch of them.

00:48:55.000 And when he asked them and they said, you know, you'll get your stuff back in four or five years if you're lucky.

00:49:04.000 Well, Tommy, let's not let them stop the film getting out.

00:49:07.000 The film has gotten out, and a lot of them have gone out.

00:49:10.000 Tell folks how they get that, or I guess just Google AKA Tommy Chung, and it's all over the place.

00:49:15.000 Or can people go to your website and get it?

00:49:17.000 Yeah, they can get it.

00:49:18.000 AKA Tommy Chung is the best website to get the film.

00:49:21.000 And last time we were on the Alex Jones Show, we sold thousands.

00:49:26.000 I mean, it was unbelievable.

00:49:28.000 Matt Stevens couldn't believe it, because all of a sudden he got such a rush for orders for it.

00:49:33.000 And it's being sold on our tour.

00:49:36.000 And we're going to be all over the place.

00:49:39.000 You can go to Cheech and Chong.com or Cheech and Chong tour.com.

00:49:44.000 You guys have been persecuted just massively.

00:49:44.000 Absolutely.

00:49:47.000 People need to buy the film.

00:49:48.000 They need to go to the website.

00:49:49.000 But also you're some of the best comedians out there.

00:49:52.000 And this is like Led Zeppelin if they do a reunion tour.

00:49:54.000 You don't know if you'll see it again.

00:49:56.000 You guys haven't been together.

00:49:57.000 You haven't been together for a long time.

00:49:57.000 Talk about that.

00:49:59.000 You got back together.

00:50:00.000 Tell us about the tour.

00:50:01.000 Well, we haven't been together for something like 27 years since we'd last been on stage together.

00:50:08.000 So we got together and it was like riding a bike.

00:50:12.000 It was so simple and we do the old classic Cheech and Chong bits and we just have the best time.

00:50:20.000 My wife Shelby opens the show and then we have a back screen projector and we show some of the clips from all our past stuff.

00:50:30.000 And then we, uh, then she snagged him out, and we, we do about an hour, hour and a half, And it's just all the old Cheech and Chong bits.

00:50:38.000 Tommy Chong's our guest.

00:50:39.000 We've only got about eight minutes left in the show, so I'm going to skip this break.

00:50:44.000 For everybody on PrisonPlanet.tv and listening over the web for the MN FM stations, back in just three minutes with the legend Tommy Chong.

00:50:51.000 And we're going to get Cheech on with him soon.

00:50:53.000 That is going to be awesome.

00:50:55.000 Man, I love this show and I love the great people we get to have on like Tommy Chong.

00:50:58.000 God bless him.

00:50:59.000 We'll be right back.

00:51:00.000 For everybody else, stay with us.

00:51:02.000 Okay, Tommy, we're skipping this break.

00:51:04.000 Continue with the plug.

00:51:05.000 We're going to plug it again at the end of the show in about eight minutes when you leave us, but continue with the tour.

00:51:10.000 I hear some of these are selling out.

00:51:12.000 How do folks go sign up for this?

00:51:14.000 Okay.

00:51:16.000 Tell folks how they get tickets.

00:51:17.000 We're still on the air.

00:51:18.000 Okay, right now?

00:51:19.000 Yes, sir.

00:51:19.000 We skipped the break.

00:51:21.000 Oh, okay.

00:51:21.000 Yeah, well, listen.

00:51:23.000 You go to Cheech and Chong Tour dot com.

00:51:28.000 And it'll list all the dates.

00:51:31.000 We've been selling out, adding shows.

00:51:33.000 Los Angeles, we had to add a third show.

00:51:37.000 And they're looking even at a fourth show.

00:51:39.000 So the tickets are going like crazy.

00:51:42.000 And we're selling more merch at every show than the Rolling Stones.

00:51:48.000 I mean, it's gone crazy.

00:51:50.000 And the truth is that Cheech and I, even though we hadn't been together, we still We can still do the old stuff.

00:51:59.000 And you know, surprisingly enough, the audience, they just want to hear Cheech and Chong.

00:52:05.000 They don't want us to get into any political rap.

00:52:07.000 I tried to do a political rap in Detroit and I got shouted down.

00:52:12.000 No political stuff.

00:52:14.000 People want to laugh.

00:52:15.000 They don't want to get involved in thinking or anything else.

00:52:19.000 So they're high and they just want to laugh at Cheech and Chong like the old days.

00:52:23.000 And so that's what we've been doing.

00:52:25.000 And the shows have been incredible, just incredible.

00:52:30.000 People line up for hours and sometimes days.

00:52:33.000 We did a show in Los Angeles where they camped out overnight because there was only like 300 tickets and people were camped out for like two days before the event just to get in line to get a chance to get a ticket.

00:52:49.000 So it's been really, really crazy.

00:52:53.000 Back being as funny as he's ever been and he's loving it.

00:52:57.000 He's just having the best time of his life and I've been having the best time.

00:53:02.000 And being back together again, there was such a love and such a Magic chemistry between us that is still there.

00:53:11.000 Well I remember being a little kid and having a babysitter sneak off with me to go see the first Cheech and Chong movie and I just I mean so from the time I was a little kid I just love you guys and that's why it's so crazy to be on air with you right now just just why did you guys wait so long that makes it that much more sweet now and that much more powerful but why did you guys

00:53:36.000 Well, we were going to get back together, and then I went to jail.

00:53:42.000 That was a couple of years missing.

00:53:44.000 Then I was on a year probation, and then Cheech had other commitments.

00:53:47.000 And then I was on a year probation, and then Cheech had other commitments, and it just went, you know, it was just crazy.

00:53:56.000 And then finally, I went over to his place, you know, he wanted to do the tour.

00:54:01.000 And I went over and we had a fight, big fight.

00:54:05.000 Tommy Chong, hold on one minute.

00:54:06.000 A few stations are joining us back right now.

00:54:07.000 Here we go.

00:54:08.000 Okay, for those that were on some of the stations that carried that segment on the Internet listening, we were getting into how Tommy Chong and Cheech got back together.

00:54:20.000 And after he got out of jail being set up for selling pipes, or thinking about selling pipes, he goes back over to Cheech's house.

00:54:28.000 He just got to the point of what happened next.

00:54:30.000 Tommy, continue.

00:54:32.000 I went over there and I had an idea.

00:54:34.000 idea you know i said why don't we put a band together super band and cheech blew up he got really mad although it was his idea he got mad he goes no man people want to see his lives they want to see comedy you know they don't want to see just a band try to tell me how to live i'm sorry so we uh and so so i left you know thinking well that you know we'll never get back together again and then i then i so i emailed cheech

00:55:04.000 i sent him an email saying that listen you know it was nice seeing you and and even if we can't work together why don't we just at least be friends you know and so he he emailed me back and he said i was thinking the same thing you know it was nice seeing you too and and then my son paris he read the emails and you go dad There you go.

00:55:23.000 You guys can get back together.

00:55:24.000 You're friends.

00:55:25.000 There's nothing wrong.

00:55:27.000 It's up to you, Dad.

00:55:28.000 Cheech wants to do it, so it's up to you.

00:55:32.000 My son said, Do you want to do it?

00:55:33.000 I said, Yeah.

00:55:35.000 So my son just emailed Cheech back saying it was me because he knows that I would put some zinger in there that would blow everything.

00:55:45.000 Then we got back together.

00:55:49.000 It has been just one big high ever since.

00:55:52.000 How long have you been on tour?

00:55:55.000 Just about a month, right?

00:55:57.000 Yeah, we've been out about a month.

00:55:59.000 Yeah, we're getting over a month now.

00:56:04.000 Okay, well in closing, I want to say bye to you when the show ends here in about two minutes off air, but in closing, Tommy Chung, plug all the websites because folks are tuning in every millisecond.

00:56:13.000 People need to get the film, The Government Tried to Suppress, a.k.a.

00:56:16.000 Tommy Chung.

00:56:18.000 Give out your personal website, give out the tour website, give it all out for people.

00:56:22.000 Okay, well the a.k.a.

00:56:23.000 Tommy Chung is on that website, a.k.a.

00:56:25.000 TommyChung.com.

00:56:28.000 That's the documentary.

00:56:31.000 I've got a TommyChong.com personal website where we also are linked up to all the other ones.

00:56:44.000 And then there's the Cheech and Chong Tour.com that has all the tour information.

00:56:49.000 And you're coming to Austin in the next few months.

00:56:51.000 I am going to be there.

00:56:52.000 And I can't wait to meet you guys in person.

00:56:55.000 Who knows, maybe we can get you in studio.

00:56:56.000 If not, do a behind the scenes interview.

00:56:58.000 And I hope to get you both on before that even unfolds.

00:57:03.000 In closing, shifting back the last minute and a half to the really big issues that face us, where do you see this bailout going?

00:57:11.000 What would you say to the public?

00:57:12.000 Was that heartening for you to see Congress say no to the bailout yesterday?

00:57:16.000 Well, you know, it's like that do or die thing.

00:57:20.000 It's like a suicide note. 0.99

00:57:22.000 Either give me the money or I'm going to kill myself. 0.99

00:57:25.000 And then, oh well, he never killed himself.

00:57:29.000 Yeah, the market went back up today.

00:57:30.000 Yeah, and the market's doing pretty good.

00:57:32.000 And then it was like, so the question is, who are we bailing out and why?

00:57:37.000 God, they act like total criminals!

00:57:39.000 I mean, this is classic!

00:57:40.000 Yeah, why do we need to bail them out?

00:57:43.000 And where's the money going to go?

00:57:44.000 Where's it coming from?

00:57:45.000 What are we going to get in return?

00:57:47.000 What's the collateral?

00:57:49.000 Well, Congressman Ron Paul on this show called for Paulson and Bernanke and all of their arrests, and they need to be arrested.

00:57:56.000 They've committed... I mean, talk about conflict of interest.

00:57:58.000 We've got Henry Paulson still running part of the big brokerage house he was part of, Goldman Sachs, and then he's giving money to his own company.

00:58:08.000 And do you hear why they came up with that number?

00:58:12.000 No, I mean, they just pulled... You know what it was?

00:58:15.000 They needed a big number, so a trillion would look too big, so they said around 750 billion.

00:58:22.000 That's right, they did say that.

00:58:23.000 No basis of why they would need that much money.

00:58:27.000 Okay, Tommy, I'm going to say bye to you here right when the show ends.

00:58:30.000 For everybody else, retransmission on the internet starts now on the streams.
