01:56:30.000 And it already has increased from about 280 bucks five, six years ago to right around 800 to a thousand in gyrates, back and forth between there.

01:56:39.000 And so, then if a new currency comes in or something else happens, you can still cash in gold and silver for whatever the new monetary unit is.

01:56:52.000 I thought, okay, I thought I purchased gold and here I'd have these Gold pieces, and I'm thinking, how am I going to pay for my groceries with this gold?

01:57:07.000 So, see, let's say you kept money in a shoebox, $1,000.

01:57:12.000 Well, in two years, it'll be worth about half of what it is now, conservatively, with purchasing power.

01:57:17.000 But if you kept gold in a shoebox, let's just say gold stayed at the same price, But when inflation went up, but the same value, you would be able to go in and cash it in for $2,000 in cash.

01:57:31.000 Gold has intrinsic real value, like anything else precious.

01:57:36.000 I mean, you could collect art.

01:57:37.000 The elite collect art, famous art pieces, because it intrinsically goes up in value, and they know where to cash it in later.

01:57:44.000 But I don't recommend art as a storage of wealth for the average person, because they probably wouldn't.

01:57:55.000 But, see, they put a property tax on land, which they can jack up, and then always take from you as well.

01:57:59.000 So, there's nothing like having some gold and silver, or platinum, which is raw, which is at intrinsic value since civilization formed in the Tigris-Euphrates 6,000 years ago.
