Alex Jones Show - 20090116_Fri_Radio

00:00:04.000 Big Brother.

00:00:06.000 Mainstream media.

00:00:08.000 Government cover-ups.

00:00:09.000 You want answers?

00:00:11.000 Well, so does he.

00:00:12.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

00:00:17.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.

00:00:22.000 Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, welcome.

00:00:25.000 It is January 16, 2009, Friday.

00:00:30.000 I've been with you all week.

00:00:31.000 My name is Jason Burmiss.

00:00:32.000 I'm a filmmaker and I do a little talk radio here and there.

00:00:37.000 Don't worry, Alex will be back.

00:00:38.000 I believe he's going to be doing the Sunday show, but don't quote me on that.

00:00:41.000 He'll definitely be back Monday morning, and it's been a real pleasure sitting in all week.

00:00:46.000 Some of our great guests, and we're going to have great guests today.

00:00:49.000 Ted Anderson coming on in about 30 minutes.

00:00:51.000 We're going to have Peter Dale Scott.

00:00:53.000 You know, author of The War Conspiracy, which is one of the first books to be banned in this country.

00:00:59.000 He talked about parapolitics.

00:01:00.000 He writes a lot of op-ed pieces.

00:01:03.000 He's recently done one over at 911truth.org.

00:01:07.000 And it's a long one.

00:01:08.000 It's all on the bailout and martial law.

00:01:11.000 So we're going to be talking to him about that.

00:01:13.000 We have Webster Griffin Tarpley later in the day.

00:01:16.000 He's got two books out on Obama.

00:01:18.000 And, of course, we're working on the Obama film here at the Info Warrior Studios.

00:01:23.000 in Austin, Texas.

00:01:23.000 And we're also going to have the international forecaster, Bob Chapman, on later in the day.

00:01:31.000 making this Obama film, so we're trying to get as much Obama media as possible.

00:01:37.000 And last weekend I got here, the story broke that Obama was going to be on the cover of Spider-Man.

00:01:43.000 Well, let me tell you how hard it is to get a copy of this thing.

00:01:48.000 It hit the stands on Wednesday.

00:01:52.000 and And, uh, we tried to get it yesterday, Thursday, and it was sold out everywhere.

00:01:58.000 I went on eBay, and the cheapest, let me repeat this, the cheapest that you can get this comic book for, this Obama book, Obama Spidey, is about 80 bucks.

00:02:09.000 You can get it for 80 dollars.

00:02:10.000 It got printed a week and a half ago, shipped out, and it just hit the newsstands yesterday.

00:02:15.000 A lot of people are hoarding it.

00:02:47.000 You know, since people are still in love with this image of Obama, now's the time to gouge people.

00:02:54.000 Obama-man, Obama-man, does whatever a spider can.

00:02:58.000 Marvel Comics said it plans to print a second and third round of the latest Spider-Man comic book after the issue, which features President-elect Barack Obama, sold out in record numbers Wednesday.

00:03:08.000 Just hours after hitting the stands, the company expects to be the industry's best-selling comic in over a decade.

00:03:14.000 In over a decade.

00:03:15.000 Wow. That should really speak to the cult-like status of Barack Obama.

00:03:20.000 The plot unfolds when Spider-Man's alter-ego, Peter Parker, who attends the presidential inauguration as a news reporter, spots two identical Obamas just minutes before the new president is to give his inaugural address.

00:03:32.000 Yeah, if you go online, you can see some of this.

00:03:34.000 And the chameleon, I believe, is the villain.

00:03:37.000 The web crawler springs into action and rescues Obama from the villainous imposter.

00:03:41.000 The new president then thanks the superhero with a fist bump.

00:03:45.000 That's right.

00:03:45.000 He doesn't just fist bump his wife, ladies and gentlemen.

00:03:47.000 Spidey. It's the hip president.

00:03:49.000 We've got a hipster in.

00:03:52.000 It's less of a political statement than it is of Spidey's fan made good, Wacker said.

00:03:57.000 But Wacker said that he never expected the issue to sell out in less than a day.

00:04:00.000 I didn't foresee the book was going into a second printing.

00:04:03.000 That caught me by surprise.

00:04:05.000 But it's the new president.

00:04:06.000 No matter who it is, it's going to get attention.

00:04:09.000 Yeah. It's not the same thing.

00:04:11.000 If they had put Bush on the cover, In 2001, before the 9-11 attacks, I doubt it would have sold out.

00:04:23.000 In fact, I promise you that it would not have sold out.

00:04:27.000 So you listeners out there, any of you comic book geeks that bought like ten copies, we'd appreciate you to mail us one so we don't have to spend a hundred bucks on it.

00:04:36.000 News Blitz coming up.

00:04:38.000 The FDA, of course, considering these genetically modified foods.

00:04:42.000 No kidding.

00:04:44.000 It's the Alex Jones Show.

00:04:45.000 We'll be back after this.

00:06:10.000 How do the American people know that 9-11 was a stage?

00:06:13.000 Was it engineered by you, David Rockefeller, the Trilateral Commission, the CFR?

00:06:18.000 The day that we stop asking questions is the day that we have allowed the CIA Seven years after the attacks of September 11th, a global awakening has taken place.

00:06:35.000 How dare you?

00:08:01.000 From his Central Texas Command Center, deep behind enemy lines, the information war continues.

00:08:08.000 It's Alex Jones and the GCN Radio Network.

00:08:14.000 The FDA pledges openness on gene-altered products.

00:08:20.000 No kidding.

00:08:21.000 Federal health officials Thursday pledged a new open process for approving drugs and foods from genetically engineered animals.

00:08:28.000 Consumer groups complain the policy won't do enough to tell people if they're eating gene-altered animals and fails to protect the environment.

00:08:35.000 They urge the incoming Obama administration to reconsider it.

00:08:38.000 They won't reconsider it, don't worry.

00:08:40.000 The real problem with this is that of course they're going to pass all this genetically modified food and then it doesn't have to be labeled.

00:08:48.000 Okay, so now they're telling you, don't worry, don't worry, the FDA is finally going to look into this, we're going to have that great genetically modified food, it's going to be delicious, they're going to make sure it's okay for you, but they're not going to label it.

00:09:01.000 So, you know, have fun eating your cloned cattle and your genetically modified milk and cheese.

00:09:08.000 It's outrageous.

00:09:10.000 They are completely ignoring consumers.

00:09:12.000 Overwhelming desire for laboring.

00:09:14.000 Labeling, said Mike Hanson, a senior scientist with Consumers Union, publisher of Consumer Reports.

00:09:19.000 FDA officials said genetically engineered foods will be labeled if they are different in some important way from natural foods.

00:09:25.000 For example, non-fat filet mignon.

00:09:29.000 No, Mark.

00:09:30.000 Oh, by the way, this filet mignon is absolutely cloned and genetically altered.

00:09:34.000 But if it's non-fat, we'll label it.

00:09:38.000 Just get ready, folks.

00:09:39.000 Nothing changed.

00:09:40.000 I know everybody wanted to clamor for change and believe that this administration was going to bring in some kind of, like, superhero nonsense.

00:09:48.000 I know everybody saw that Alex Ross painting of Obama as Superman.

00:09:52.000 But that's fiction, okay?

00:09:54.000 That's not true.

00:09:56.000 He's another frontman for the same globalists.

00:10:00.000 Let's say globalists real slow together.

00:10:03.000 Globalists. Internationalists.

00:10:07.000 They're the ones that control Obama.

00:10:11.000 In fact, U.N. to Obama, don't change Afghan strategy!

00:10:16.000 And, of course, all these policy makers are chiming in now that Obama is saying, you know, we're going to redistribute our troops.

00:10:23.000 He doesn't say redistribution.

00:10:24.000 He says that we're going to have more troops in Afghanistan.

00:10:27.000 Well, if they're leaving Iraq and they're going to Afghanistan, that's a redistribution of troops.

00:10:32.000 UN to Obama, don't change Afghan strategy.

00:10:35.000 Really? We shouldn't change the strategy in Afghanistan?

00:10:38.000 We've almost been there for, let's see, it's Got to be running seven and a half years, almost eight years.

00:10:46.000 Almost eight years we've been in there, but don't do anything different?

00:10:50.000 Nothing? U.S. Vice President-elect Joe Biden, who toured the region earlier this month, said that things are going to get tougher in Afghanistan before they're going to get better.

00:11:00.000 And that's because we're going to throw in a bunch of troops in there, we're going to say we're having the same quagmire-type problems that we had in Iraq, and we'll be stuck in the Middle East throughout the term.

00:11:11.000 of the Obama administration.

00:11:14.000 A couple days ago, you may remember that I talked about Citigroup and how they had about 48 hours before they were totally and completely done.

00:11:22.000 And I mentioned that their, uh, what was it, their housing, their mortgage department had already been bought up by Morgan Stanley.

00:11:32.000 Well, here it is, Citigroup Post Law splits up the bank.

00:11:34.000 Okay, so it's, Further being decimated, it's pretty much gone.

00:11:38.000 Citigroup said Friday it is splitting into two businesses, as it has reported a fourth quarter net loss of $8.29 billion, its fifth straight quarterly loss.

00:11:48.000 In Citigroup's reorganization, one business, Citicorp, will focus on traditional banking around the world, while the other, Citi Holdings, will hold the company's riskier assets.

00:11:59.000 Right now, money is a risky asset.

00:12:01.000 I don't know how much riskier it could possibly get.

00:12:03.000 Folks, get your money out of Citibank if you've got it there.

00:12:05.000 Go to another bank, please.

00:12:07.000 You know, I'm not going to try to sit here and promote Bank of America, but Chase Manhattan doesn't seem like it's going to go under.

00:12:14.000 CEO Valcrom Pandit, this is the woman they were saying they were going to get rid of in the article I read a couple days ago, move will allow Citigroup to sell or spend the city holdings assets to raise cash.

00:12:24.000 It also reveals the company's growing focus on back-to-basics lending and deposit gathering and dismantles the financial supermarket created a decade ago.

00:12:34.000 Listen, there's just going to be more and more and more bad news.

00:12:40.000 Bad, bad news for Citigroup.

00:12:43.000 It looks like it's already being integrated with Chase Manhattan.

00:12:46.000 Revenue fell 13% to $5.6 billion from a year ago.

00:12:49.000 At its peak performance in the second quarter of 2007, Citigroup was pulling $25.8 billion in revenue.

00:12:55.000 Citigroup used to be the largest bank by assets, but recently lost the title to J.P.

00:13:00.000 Morgan, Chase, and company, the Rockefeller banks.

00:13:04.000 So more Rockefeller banks are coming up, and it looks like Citigroup will probably have to sell off to, you know...

00:13:12.000 I can see that happening.

00:13:13.000 More bad news, at least more bad economic news in the U.S.

00:13:20.000 Circuit City to liquidate remaining U.S.

00:13:23.000 stores. Now, they declared bankruptcy back in November right before the holiday shopping season.

00:13:30.000 But now it's over.

00:13:32.000 They were going to just have to sell it all off.

00:13:33.000 They're going to liquidate the remaining U.S. 0.64

00:13:35.000 stores, which is over 500.

00:13:38.000 Circuit City stores incorporated the nation's second biggest consumer electronics retailer, the second largest one.

00:13:45.000 Wow. Said Friday it had run out of options and will be forced to liquidate its 567 U.S.

00:13:51.000 stores. The closures could send another 30,000 people into the ranks of the unemployed.

00:13:57.000 This is the only possible path for our company.

00:14:00.000 James A. Markham, acting chief executive, said in a statement, We are extremely disappointed in this outcome.

00:14:06.000 Well, when you're competing...

00:14:22.000 They don't have money to be buying these big televisions and these blu-ray disc players You know a computer They upgrade themselves every six months, you know, some people aren't buying those either.

00:14:34.000 They're sticking with the computer They got two years ago.

00:14:36.000 Of course, you're gonna go under And we don't make anything in this country, so get ready for more retailers to go under.

00:14:44.000 Circuit City is probably just the beginning.

00:14:48.000 Just blitzing through the news right here.

00:14:51.000 We covered this story a little bit yesterday and earlier in the week, but courts ruled that teachers can have sex with their 18-year-old students and not come under any scrutiny at all.

00:15:04.000 They get to keep their jobs.

00:15:06.000 Parents are outraged.

00:15:08.000 And as well they should be.

00:15:09.000 Whether or not you take this into a criminal prosecution, I mean, if the person is 18, I can see why you wouldn't do that, but the guy should lose his job.

00:15:17.000 He should at least be relocated.

00:15:19.000 Although relocation probably won't do much, he'll do it with another student.

00:15:23.000 But, you know, this guy walked away, he beat the rap.

00:15:26.000 He's a family guy, too.

00:15:27.000 He had three kids.

00:15:29.000 And the courts ruled, yeah, you can have sex with your 18-year-old kids, but you can't Kids that text each other, teenagers, 16 and 17 year olds, naked pictures, you know, rambunctious teenage behavior, they're going to charge them.

00:15:43.000 Yeah, they're going to charge them with child pornography. 0.97

00:15:47.000 Unbelievable. You know, we played that clip yesterday.

00:15:50.000 It was kind of mind-blowing.

00:15:51.000 And Lee's like, oh, don't worry, we can't charge them with anything else other than child porn.

00:15:56.000 But if they're convicted, they won't be on a sex offenders list.

00:15:59.000 Really? I mean, something tells me that they probably will be on a sex offenders list and be forced to register and it's absolutely, unbelievably ridiculous. 0.96

00:16:09.000 First of all, it's ridiculous that we've gotten to the point where we're going to say, okay, teachers can have sex with their students as long as they're 18. Um, no. 0.98

00:16:17.000 No. Um, this is somebody who's been in a position of power most likely throughout this person's teenage years and sometimes their preteens.

00:16:25.000 Somebody who's gained their trust.

00:16:27.000 They have no business having a sexual relationship with a student.

00:16:31.000 Okay? Wait for them to graduate.

00:16:33.000 Please. I'm begging you.

00:16:37.000 It's just the twisted priorities of this country, man.

00:16:40.000 I can't get over it.

00:16:42.000 House Democrats propose $825 billion stimulus bill.

00:16:47.000 See, the spending's not done.

00:16:49.000 That bailout's just the beginning.

00:16:52.000 House Democrats on Thursday unveiled details of an $825 billion plan designed to boost the sagging U.S. economy.

00:16:59.000 The package is a mixture of a $550 billion in spending program and a $275 billion in temporary tax cuts the Democrats hope will add three to four million new jobs to the American workforce.

00:17:12.000 Doubt it.

00:17:14.000 We wanted to get the biggest bang for our buck of every dollar spent, said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. 1.00

00:17:19.000 Ugh, what a disgusting, wretched, vile woman she is. 1.00

00:17:24.000 At $825 billion, the legislation would be one of the largest bills ever to have moved through Congress. 0.99

00:17:30.000 And by traditional standards, lawmakers were moving with unusual speed.

00:17:34.000 Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid, the Democrat from Nevada, the Senate Majority Leader, have pledged to have it ready for Obama's signature by mid-February.

00:17:43.000 I'm sure it'll be early February.

00:17:45.000 Why mid-February?

00:17:46.000 Let's not wait a month for the man to be inaugurated.

00:17:49.000 We're four days away, folks.

00:17:51.000 Four days away.

00:17:52.000 And don't worry, you can catch it on ESPN.

00:17:57.000 Of course, Republicans are on an uproar.

00:18:00.000 They're not part of the process.

00:18:01.000 More WWE politics on the floor. 0.85

00:18:05.000 I guarantee that this almost trillion dollar stimulus package or something Similar or exactly like it will be passed and we will be the ones holding the bag.

00:18:15.000 We're the ones paying the bills.

00:18:17.000 That's right, you pay taxes?

00:18:19.000 You got a job?

00:18:20.000 Yeah, we're paying for this.

00:18:21.000 Just like we're paying for the criminal bailout.

00:18:24.000 In fact, criminal bailout, that's another headline.

00:18:28.000 Where is that?

00:18:29.000 People are finally asking the right question.

00:18:33.000 Conservatives ask, is bailout unconstitutional?

00:18:37.000 Of course it's unconstitutional!

00:18:39.000 Dick Armey, the former Republican House Majority Leader, addresses the media at the Republican National Convention in 2008, and now, I guess, now that their boy's not in, now they're gonna say, oh, this is just terrible.

00:18:54.000 This is out of the New York Times, by the way.

00:18:55.000 While much of the debate over the $700 billion federal bailout plan has focused on whether the money is being spent wisely or well, concerns are growing among many conservatives about its constitutionality.

00:19:06.000 Remember, they had to threaten.

00:19:07.000 Many of the Republicans who didn't want this with martial law before passing it.

00:19:12.000 Some conservatives have argued that the law creating the program, the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, which Congress passed hastily in October, violates the constitutional principles that limit the amount of power that lawmakers can delegate to the executive branch.

00:19:28.000 Wow! There it is!

00:19:30.000 Checks and balances!

00:19:33.000 Let's read that last sentence again.

00:19:35.000 Which Congress passed hastily in October violates the constitutional principles that limit the amount of power that lawmakers can delegate to the executive branch.

00:19:44.000 That's right!

00:19:45.000 Three branches of government, folks!

00:19:47.000 And we're supposed to limit that power.

00:19:49.000 Infowars.com, PrisonPlanet.tv.

00:19:51.000 I'm Jason Bermas.

00:19:52.000 It's the Alex Jones Show.

00:20:00.000 You worry.

00:20:01.000 You see the signs and worry about the future.

00:20:03.000 You worry about economic turmoil and food shortages.

00:20:06.000 How to be prepared while preserving your sanity?

00:20:08.000 Your answer may be at hand.

00:20:10.000 Author Linda Runyon lived off the land, isolated from civilization.

00:20:13.000 She knows that as long as the sun shines, there will be plenty of free food all over God's green earth.

00:20:18.000 Perhaps the only sane insurance is knowledge of wild edible plants.

00:20:22.000 The cost of learning is minimal.

00:20:24.000 Wild food grows everywhere and you will see it everywhere.

00:20:27.000 It's every bit organic and more nutritious than our modern diets.

00:20:30.000 Well respected in her field, Linda's approach to teaching this subject includes books, flashcards, and video with an emphasis on health, safety, practicality, and joy.

00:20:39.000 Learn how to identify it, where and when to find it, how to prepare, use, and store it.

00:20:44.000 Go to Linda's website, ofthefield.com, and take advantage of special offers.

00:20:48.000 Or if you're not online, call her 24-hour, toll-free order line at 888-51-EAT-FREE.

00:20:54.000 That number again, 888-51-EAT-FREE.

00:20:57.000 A little knowledge makes starvation impossible.

00:21:00.000 Today, unlike any other in the long course of American history, a terrorist act of war against this country.

00:21:07.000 The enemy struck America on September 11th.

00:21:09.000 But who is the enemy?

00:21:11.000 Bin Laden.

00:21:12.000 This is his MO.

00:21:13.000 We have to look to the Middle East.

00:21:14.000 We have to look to Osama Bin Laden. 0.93

00:21:16.000 Fabled Enemies is the first 9-11 film to take a close look at the terrorist ties to intelligence networks inside the United States.

00:21:23.000 Some U.S. investigators believe that there are Israelis again very much engaged in spying in and on the U.S. I'm aware that some Israeli citizens have been detained.

00:21:33.000 Bin Laden's connections to the CIA, the hijackers'ties to the FBI, the Saudi Arabian connection, the Israeli Intelligence Network, Warnings and War Games, the shadow government, and much, much more.

00:21:45.000 Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.

00:22:00.000 Have you ever felt like the United States government knows way too much about your financial affairs?

00:22:04.000 I continue to hear stories about property seizures, frozen bank accounts, confiscation of stocks and bonds.

00:22:10.000 It makes me wonder if the U.S. citizen will ever again have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

00:22:16.000 Unfortunately, with the Drug and Money Laundering Act, the IRS Revenue Ruling 6045 of 1984, and the Trading with the Enemy Act in Franklin D. Roosevelt's Executive Order of 1933, some precious metal holdings are subject to government intervention.

00:22:30.000 For this reason, Midas Resources has prepared a report explaining the boundaries of trading precious metals privately.

00:22:35.000 Whether if you have any intention of trading with Midas Resources or not, I have instructed my representatives to give this report out free.

00:22:42.000 Call for your free copy at 1-800-686-2237.

00:22:46.000 When investing, always proceed with caution.

00:22:48.000 Again, call 1-800-686-2237.

00:22:52.000 Exercise your legal right to trade metals privately.

00:22:55.000 1-800-686-2237. 3, 2, 1.

00:23:02.000 Thank you.

00:23:53.000 Pepperspray.com wishes you and yours a safe and happy 2009.

00:24:16.000 to see if I still feel.

00:24:22.000 I focus on the pain.

00:24:27.000 I focus on the pain.

00:24:29.000 It's the only thing that's real.

00:24:34.000 Alright folks, we're back.

00:24:36.000 It is the Alex Jones Show.

00:24:37.000 We are blitzing through the news.

00:24:40.000 And I'm glad I get to blitz through the news.

00:24:42.000 I really haven't had a big chance to do this while I have guests on.

00:24:47.000 Usually the first hour is when I get all this stuff in.

00:24:50.000 Instead of the New York Times, we're just going over it.

00:24:53.000 Conservatives ask if bailout is unconstitutional.

00:24:57.000 Well, of course it's unconstitutional.

00:25:00.000 We'll get to that in a second, but I want to thank one of our very great sponsors.

00:25:03.000 Probably my favorite sponsor.

00:25:04.000 I probably shouldn't be playing favorites, but the Ecola Blue Machine here is just 110% delicious, folks.

00:25:10.000 Taking water from thin air and then purifying it.

00:25:13.000 It doesn't get any better than that.

00:25:15.000 You can get it cold, you can get it hot.

00:25:16.000 You're making some tea?

00:25:17.000 Good! Hit the hot button.

00:25:18.000 It's amazing.

00:25:19.000 It's very cheap.

00:25:22.000 I mean, literally, you pay for it in a year if you buy a bottle of water.

00:25:25.000 And that's even if you're buying the low-grade stuff.

00:25:27.000 You don't even have to spend I'm Heartland

00:25:58.000 Emergency Group, heartlandemergency.com is the website.

00:26:02.000 The seminar includes speakers like Big John Lipskin of the host of Don't Tread on Me.

00:26:07.000 And basically we're going to be speaking about self-preparedness.

00:26:10.000 What happens in the case of emergency?

00:26:12.000 How do you, you know, use your freeze-dried foods?

00:26:15.000 How do you use these seeds?

00:26:17.000 And this is going to be at 6 p.m. tonight in Fredericksburg at the Ag Building, 95 Frederick Road, and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. in Austin, Texas at Brave New Books, 1904 Guadalupe Street.

00:26:30.000 If you need to call somebody about the information, it's 512-921-9015.

00:26:34.000 That's 512-921-9015 or 9016.

00:26:38.000 Remember, that's heartlandemergency.com, and we've got seminars going on the next three days.

00:26:43.000 Alright, so what's unconstitutional?

00:26:48.000 Well, I mean, alright, first of all, the independents knew off the bat, Robert A. Levy, an intelligible principle that provided clear guidance to an agency or a regulator, but that, he said, is precisely what is missing from the bailout.

00:27:00.000 In other words, there is no intelligible principle.

00:27:03.000 We just said, here you go!

00:27:04.000 Print as much as you like!

00:27:06.000 Hide it all!

00:27:07.000 Buy up infrastructure!

00:27:08.000 Now, even Dick Armey, you know, hardcore Republican, in fact, former Republican House Majority Leader, Said this, when Congress delegates so much authority to the executive branch with so few rules to guide its discretion, Congress unconstitutionally transfers its lawmaking power to the executive branch.

00:27:30.000 And that's what we've done.

00:27:31.000 We've given the executive branch just an insane amount of control over our finances.

00:27:37.000 And, uh, get ready to take it hard, folks.

00:27:40.000 Again, you know, we're four days away from the inauguration.

00:27:44.000 I don't know if we're going to put any credence into what Biden and Powell and Albright have said about the inaugural crisis.

00:27:51.000 Obama's inaugural crisis.

00:27:53.000 I think it's here.

00:27:54.000 Could it get worse?

00:27:55.000 You bet it could get worse.

00:27:59.000 The best way to protect yourself, folks, is to get your fiat currency out of the bank and get hard currency, you know, gold and silver.

00:28:06.000 A lot of people are like, well, you know, you want to make some money on a boat.

00:28:09.000 No, this is about security.

00:28:10.000 This is about having something that is going to retain value no matter what happens to the economy in the United States.

00:28:18.000 Gold and silver will retain value in other markets.

00:28:21.000 I promise you.

00:28:23.000 It's a worldwide market and it's not based on something That's not backed by anything.

00:28:27.000 The U.S. economy.

00:28:28.000 So, you know, gold and silver are the way to go.

00:28:30.000 We're going to have Ted Anderson on of Midas Resources after the break.

00:28:35.000 I do want to report a little bit of good news.

00:28:38.000 Can you imagine that?

00:28:38.000 Some good news?

00:28:41.000 Ex-officer pleads not guilty in BART shooting.

00:28:45.000 Now, you know, we covered this on the program earlier in the week.

00:28:49.000 Guy in Oakland in the subway system held down by police officers and really gunned down in cold blood.

00:28:55.000 By Jonas Messerly, I believe is his last name.

00:29:00.000 You know, some young cop, younger than I am. 0.92

00:29:03.000 And he decided to pull the trigger, kill the guy.

00:29:06.000 Oh, don't worry, the cameras didn't work. 0.95

00:29:08.000 Everything's okay.

00:29:09.000 People caught it on their cell phone cams.

00:29:11.000 The guy was forced to resign and now he is being held in police custody and finally going to be charged in the murder of this gentleman.

00:29:19.000 This is out of Oakland, California, CNN.

00:29:21.000 A former police officer for the Bay Area Transit System pleaded not guilty Thursday in the New Year's Day shooting of a passenger on an Oakland rail station.

00:29:30.000 Let's hope and pray he gets convicted.

00:29:33.000 This is the Alex Jones Show.

00:33:03.000 What would you do if we knew all the things we knew?

00:33:08.000 Would you stand up for truth?

00:33:10.000 Or would you turn away too?

00:33:13.000 And then what if you saw all of the things that sprung?

00:33:18.000 Would you stand tall and strong?

00:33:21.000 Or would you turn it off away?

00:33:25.000 Alright folks, we are back.

00:33:26.000 It is the Alex Jones Show.

00:33:28.000 I am Jason Verma, sitting in for Alex Jones all week.

00:33:30.000 Don't worry, Alex will be back.

00:33:32.000 This is my final program here.

00:33:35.000 I'm sure you guys miss him.

00:33:38.000 Conservatives ask if the bailout is unconstitutional.

00:33:41.000 A little late, don't you think?

00:33:43.000 Of course it's unconstitutional.

00:33:46.000 And the House Dems are now proposing an $825 billion stimulus bill.

00:33:52.000 We've got Circuit City liquidating today.

00:33:54.000 We've got Citigroup in more problems.

00:33:56.000 Probably going to be selling itself off into other banks.

00:34:00.000 So what do you do?

00:34:01.000 How do you protect yourself?

00:34:03.000 Well, we have Ted Anderson of Midas Resources on the line to really let you know how to protect yourself.

00:34:08.000 Ted, thank you for coming on the show.

00:34:10.000 Yeah, it's good to be up here again.

00:34:12.000 I'm really appreciating you stepping in for Alex there.

00:34:14.000 I miss him.

00:34:15.000 He calls me about every day, and we talk about this and that, and I'm just calling him and leaving messages on his voicemail now, just saying, yep, I tested all your streams.

00:34:24.000 Everything's up, running strong.

00:34:25.000 Just want to let you know.

00:34:26.000 I hope you're enjoying your vacation.

00:34:28.000 I can tell you right now, working with Alex for the 12 years that I have, he has such a tough time taking a break.

00:34:42.000 Um, just as it's killing him.

00:34:45.000 Even though he knows he needs to be there and he loves him very much.

00:34:48.000 He just, he just can't stop working.

00:34:51.000 This guy just is just a working machine and that's why he's where he is today.

00:34:55.000 But you're right about that.

00:34:57.000 I was pulling the same stories up right now.

00:34:59.000 Merrill Lynch's losses are digging into Citigroup so hard that they may even need to be liquidated.

00:35:06.000 They're talking about another bailout for them.

00:35:08.000 And Circuit City is shutting down the rest of their stores.

00:35:11.000 So Circuit City is going to be No more.

00:35:41.000 The foreclosures on homes is up 81% from last year.

00:35:46.000 I mean, there's just so many things that are going on, and the bailouts just keep on coming.

00:35:50.000 Oh, by the way, the people that are interested, the Creature from Jekyll Island spot will start airing on Rush Limbaugh's show.

00:35:57.000 Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and also George Norrie, that's starting February 2nd, so listen for those.

00:36:05.000 It'll be great to get a little bit of New World Order information to that audience.

00:36:11.000 And then Dr. Laura, she started yesterday.

00:36:14.000 So we're working on it.

00:36:16.000 We're working on it.

00:36:17.000 I mean, the way I see it, Jason, if we do nothing, we're going to get world government.

00:36:24.000 I mean, this Constitution is practically gone already as far as I'm concerned.

00:36:29.000 There's not going to be a shred of it that's left unless we're willing to stand up and fight.

00:36:34.000 As far as what do I have to offer, I did some inventory searching to see at what prices and so on and so forth I paid for this stuff because gold is up today, it's shooting up today.

00:36:46.000 It's up at about $830 an ounce.

00:36:49.000 It's been up as high as about $835.

00:36:51.000 And I just double checked to see what I have.

00:36:55.000 I had some British Sovereigns and Franks left at that $770 level.

00:37:00.000 And I priced them out to see where I'd have them at.

00:37:02.000 And right now, currently, I have the Frank at $2.02, which is, again, it's a fifth of an ounce of gold.

00:37:08.000 And we have the British Sovereign currently right now at $2.50, which is a quarter of an ounce of gold.

00:37:13.000 Now, the reason why I think that it's important to get into those is, first of all, they're small coins.

00:37:17.000 They're coins from the late 1800s and early 1900s, mostly the 1800s.

00:37:22.000 And so it's a very old gold coin.

00:37:25.000 And a lot of dealers like to make the argument that you have to have pre-1933 gold.

00:37:29.000 Yeah, I think so.

00:37:44.000 Again, I really think it's very important to have silver.

00:37:47.000 Small pieces of silver are going to be buying the food, the clothing, the things that you need, and they're at $8.40 or $168 per roll.

00:37:57.000 And for those of you, I know there's probably a few left out there that don't know this yet, but I've been advertising the Creature from Jekyll Island book for the last 12 years on Genesis Communications Network, and we're We were charging $26.45 all the way back in 1996, going into 1997.

00:38:19.000 Well, guess what?

00:38:19.000 I'm still charging $26.45 for the thing.

00:38:24.000 I guess it was a little cheaper because postage went up, but we're putting a silver dollar inside of each cover of the book.

00:38:29.000 We just put them in a little flip.

00:38:30.000 We staple it inside the cover.

00:38:32.000 It's the same thing I'm doing on the Rush Limbaugh show.

00:38:34.000 I'm really trying to get the message out there.

00:38:37.000 Silver dollars right now, you can even look on eBay.

00:38:39.000 They're at the lowest.

00:38:41.000 If you're lucky to win an auction, you might get them for $18.

00:38:45.000 Yeah, but then you have the shipping.

00:38:46.000 I go on there all the time, actually, to price out silver and gold.

00:38:49.000 And just like you said, you're not going to get an ounce of silver for less than $20 with shipping, no doubt about it.

00:38:54.000 And really, with gold, you're going to spend over $1,000 on a one-ounce coin there, no problem, also, plus shipping.

00:39:00.000 I mean, eBay, you sell really under what things usually go on eBay for.

00:39:04.000 Well, yeah, and typically, eBay is a garage sale, too.

00:39:07.000 People are just trying to get rid of their odds and ends, and you're going to be peacemailing it, too, and you really don't know who you're buying from either.

00:39:14.000 But the thing about it is that Creature from Jekyll Island book does give you a full education on it.

00:39:20.000 No, we're good to go.

00:39:44.000 The fact of the matter is that the elite are getting money right now because we're laboring and we're turning it over through taxation and interest on debt.

00:39:51.000 And the further we go into debt, I mean, you're talking about another bailout.

00:39:54.000 Well, guess who benefits from that?

00:39:56.000 The people that benefit are the lenders.

00:39:58.000 The people who are actually able to lend the money to the people that we, we the people of the United States, have to take on in order to bail out these companies that are supposedly too big to fail.

00:40:07.000 The further we go into debt, The more we owe interest, the profitability just shoots up through the moon for these people that are lending it.

00:40:16.000 And the catch is that they don't even have to earn the money to lend it to us.

00:40:20.000 They actually get it for free from us again.

00:40:23.000 We go out there, we grow the cotton that is used at the Bureau of Engraving out in Washington, D.C. They print the money, and then they ship it out to the Federal Reserve System, and then they lend it back to us for interest.

00:40:35.000 And the interest burden is just continuing to get bigger and bigger, and that's why we have to work so hard.

00:40:40.000 Yeah.

00:40:57.000 And that's just not the way that America was designed to run.

00:41:01.000 And again, so if you're looking at something, if you want to understand the system and how it really works, pick up that creature from Jekyll Island.

00:41:07.000 You're going to get the silver dollar that's worth 20 bucks.

00:41:10.000 You're going to end up paying $26.45.

00:41:13.000 The book is 600 pages, but it reads like a whodunit novel.

00:41:17.000 It's very interesting.

00:41:19.000 And then when you're done reading it, keep the silver dollar, pass the book on to somebody who needs to read it.

00:41:24.000 Tell them where they can get one of their own.

00:41:26.000 Anyways, at this particular time, I gotta say, Jason, probably the best buy in the marketplace are those Sovereigns.

00:41:32.000 Either that, or if you don't have a whole lot of money, and I truly recommend this, if you don't have silver, please get silver now.

00:41:40.000 There's too many problems out there in the economy, and you have to do something that will be those walking Liberty Haves at $168 per roll of 20. That's an amazing deal.

00:41:50.000 Why don't you throw out the website and the phone number, Ted?

00:41:52.000 Yeah, the website is MidasResources.com and you can get in touch with us at 1-800-686-2237.

00:42:02.000 That's 1-800-686-2237.

00:42:06.000 And boy, I can't wait until that Info Warrior is back here in town. 0.92

00:42:08.000 We need him.

00:42:09.000 I know, and you're so right.

00:42:11.000 Alex is so juiced up to do this stuff.

00:42:14.000 It is hard for him to take a vacation.

00:42:15.000 He called me last night.

00:42:17.000 You know, he checks in every day.

00:42:18.000 You know, how's the movie going?

00:42:19.000 How's the office?

00:42:20.000 Are the callers treating you okay?

00:42:22.000 I mean, he really does keep up on this, and that's great because we need somebody motivated every day to be on the air four hours a day to report on things like the bailout, to report on the fact that this stimulus package is just going to put us into further debt, to report on the fact that these banks are going to go under and we're going to be left holding the bag. So I can't wait for Alex to get back myself.

00:42:41.000 You know, Ted, what do you think is going to happen?

00:42:43.000 You know, I might as well get your perspective on this.

00:42:45.000 On Inauguration Day, a lot of people are talking about an inaugural crisis on the 21st or 22nd.

00:42:50.000 I mean, is it just going to be an announcement that the economy has tanked, you know, twice as badly as we think?

00:42:55.000 Well, I mean, Obama's already talking about, you know, he's backpedaling on how much he can give away and so on and so forth.

00:43:01.000 I don't know if we're going to have a crisis that very day he's inaugurated, but I can tell you right now, he's got You know, he's got an uphill battle.

00:43:10.000 I mean, really, if we could convince Obama that we need to get rid of this banking system and get back to constitutional money, and if you'd pick up his ears a little bit and listen to the few voices out there, the Ron Paul-type voices, Dennis Kucinich-type voices in Congress, we might be able to get somewhere, but we both know that that's not going to happen.

00:43:30.000 Obama, you look at his cabinet, it's going to be just like the Clinton era.

00:43:35.000 There's going to be no attention paid to Yeah.

00:43:45.000 And we're going to start running into double-digit inflation.

00:43:48.000 And for all I know, the next war, I know he's talking about beefing up things in Afghanistan.

00:43:54.000 And who knows what's going to be laid out in front of us.

00:44:00.000 But this Gaza Strip thing is a big issue out there right now.

00:44:05.000 I just don't know which one's going to play.

00:44:06.000 Yeah, I hope that we don't end up entangled in another war in the Middle East.

00:44:10.000 I hope it's just financial.

00:44:12.000 But you never know with these people.

00:44:13.000 All they need is a certain event and we'll clamor.

00:44:16.000 to go into Pakistan or into Iran or wherever they really want us to go.

00:44:20.000 Ted, why don't you give out the number on the website again for the Midas resources?

00:44:24.000 Yeah, well, let me just add in one more thing before I do that.

00:44:27.000 I mean, one of the things that you've got to consider right now is that the way that the Federal Reserve System gets money into the system is by making loans.

00:44:34.000 And right now, there isn't enough creditworthy borrowers, and the ones that are creditworthy aren't interested in taking on a lot of debt.

00:44:41.000 And that's why we're seeing what I would call deflation, because

00:44:45.000 Yes. I

00:45:42.000 Show will replay all the way through to the Sunday show when Alex is actually in the seat running at the helm.

00:45:48.000 Yes, that's excellent.

00:45:50.000 And like you said, it's going to run all weekend.

00:45:52.000 Ted locks in the prices.

00:45:53.000 You can get it cheaper than really anywhere else.

00:45:56.000 Like I said, go check online on these auction sites.

00:45:58.000 You can't do as well.

00:45:59.000 And silver and gold, it's almost essential to have at this point with this very, very, very uncertain economy.

00:46:05.000 The only thing certain about this economy is that it doesn't look like it's going to be shaping up into anything good in the next few years.

00:46:11.000 I mean, it really looks like we're going to be struggling through this entire administration.

00:46:15.000 No, it's not.

00:46:22.000 We have way too much debt.

00:46:24.000 And we don't have enough productivity.

00:46:26.000 All our jobs are shipped overseas.

00:46:29.000 We're not a country of savers anymore.

00:46:33.000 We deficit spend.

00:46:34.000 People want to get away from their credit cards now, and that just kills the whole process with the Federal Reserve System.

00:46:40.000 Maybe that's a good thing.

00:46:42.000 Unfortunately, a lot of people are unemployed, and I think we're going to see an awful lot more.

00:46:46.000 It's not good news, and you should be getting out of debt yourself personally as quickly as you can.

00:46:53.000 Thank you, Ted.

00:47:10.000 Really have insurance.

00:47:11.000 This is the real deal insurance.

00:47:12.000 You have insurance in gold, you have insurance in silver, you have insurance in storable food in case something happens.

00:47:17.000 I mean, like I said, with this Circuit City liquidation, we're looking at 30,000 more unemployed people.

00:47:23.000 And that's from Circuit City.

00:47:24.000 You know, if Citigroup goes under...

00:47:26.000 God knows how many people are going to lose their jobs.

00:47:29.000 You know, again, they're proposing an $825 billion, with a B, stimulus bill, which will turn into trillions just like the $700 billion bailout did.

00:47:37.000 Remember, when you give the banks billions and billions of dollars in fiat currency, and it's not even real, they'll lend out 10 to 100 times more of that.

00:47:45.000 So that's why you have Bloomberg reporting that it's really $7 to $8 trillion.

00:47:49.000 Things don't look good.

00:47:50.000 You know, I like to be a pretty positive guy.

00:47:53.000 I'm a pretty upbeat fella, but financially, the economic situation in this country is just, it's deplorable right now.

00:48:00.000 And you don't have to be Jason Burmiss to say so.

00:48:03.000 You can be somebody who's been in the middle upper class, and all of a sudden your car payments on your three cars, you can't make them.

00:48:10.000 And all of a sudden the college bill of your two sons and your daughter is getting out of control.

00:48:16.000 And you're going into more and more debt, you have no savings.

00:48:20.000 It's a rough time right now.

00:48:22.000 We're going to have Bob Chapman of the International Forecaster.com coming up at the top of the hour.

00:48:28.000 Let's take a few calls.

00:48:29.000 Let's jam through a few calls on any of the news blitz or Ted Anderson that we just talked about in the first 45 minutes.

00:48:36.000 Let's go to Bear in California.

00:48:39.000 I get the best names on this show.

00:48:40.000 Bear, what's happening?

00:48:42.000 How you doing, Jason?

00:48:43.000 Excuse my voice.

00:48:45.000 I'm a retired Air Force vet.

00:48:49.000 I still work with the military, and I used to listen to Alex Jones on the radio, and I didn't really take him serious.

00:48:58.000 And then I stopped listening to him, and I'm like, hey, whatever happened to the Alex Jones?

00:49:03.000 Because they kind of took him off the radio station I used to listen to.

00:49:06.000 Sure. So I did some research, and I browsed, and oh, he's on the internet.

00:49:11.000 So I checked out his internet site.

00:49:13.000 I said, oh, you can listen to him on the internet.

00:49:14.000 And I sit at a desk a lot, so I started taking it more serious, and I kind of like woken up.

00:49:22.000 You know what I mean?

00:49:23.000 Yeah. And when you are conscious of what's going on and what's reality of really what's going on in this country and what's going on in this world, to use my language, it pisses you off.

00:49:35.000 And I'm going to do something about it.

00:49:38.000 I'm starting a group up here in the high desert in California.

00:49:41.000 Excellent. What kind of group?

00:49:42.000 I don't know where the high desert is.

00:49:44.000 But we're going to start it out as a gun group.

00:49:47.000 I have some friends that shoot at the range, and they're going to teach me how to shoot a gun, how to properly handle it, and all that.

00:49:56.000 And what else I'm going to do is I'm going to make my own business cards and have Alex's websites on there and educate people and tell them what's really going on.

00:50:09.000 And I've been doing that.

00:50:10.000 I have no problem talking to people.

00:50:12.000 dabbing, and, uh, like you do, Jason.

00:50:15.000 It's an important gift, man.

00:50:18.000 You have to talk to people, you know?

00:50:20.000 That's how you reach out.

00:50:21.000 One-on-one always works better than, you know, a lot of people are listening to me right now.

00:50:25.000 Like you said, you know, when you used to listen to Alex Jones, you didn't take him that seriously.

00:50:28.000 I'm sure there are people out there scoffing at what I'm saying, but...

00:50:32.000 You have to communicate with people.

00:50:34.000 The gift of Gab is a great gift indeed when you're educated and you can wake up the masses.

00:50:39.000 Bear, I thank you for the call.

00:50:40.000 We're going to take a few more calls in the next segment.

00:50:42.000 It is the Alex Jones Show.

00:50:44.000 Infowars.com and PrisonPlanet.tv.

00:50:55.000 you you you you you Have you ever wanted to generate your own supply of electrical power?

00:51:04.000 If so, this is going to be the most important message you will ever hear.

00:51:07.000 Solar-powered generators are now available from Solutions from Science, one of GCN's oldest and most trusted sponsors.

00:51:14.000 These emergency backup systems provide life-saving electrical power when you need it most.

00:51:18.000 Unlike gas generators, a solar generator runs quietly, emits no fumes, and produces electricity for free.

00:51:24.000 It's like having an electric power plant running quietly in your own home.

00:51:29.000 Yes. Wait,

00:51:59.000 Call today.

00:52:00.000 A day unlike any other in the long course of American history, a terrorist act of war against this country.

00:52:07.000 The enemy struck America on September 11th.

00:52:10.000 But who is the enemy?

00:52:11.000 Bin Laden.

00:52:12.000 This is his MO.

00:52:13.000 We have to look to the Middle East.

00:52:14.000 We have to look to Osama Bin Laden. 0.93

00:52:16.000 Fabled Enemies is the first 9-11 film to take a close look at the terrorist ties to intelligence networks inside the United States.

00:52:23.000 Some U.S. investigators believe that there are Israelis again very much engaged in spying in and on the U.S. I'm aware that some Israeli citizens have been detained.

00:52:34.000 Bin Laden's connections to the CIA, the hijacker's ties to the FBI, the Saudi Arabian connections Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.

00:53:00.000 What will you do when the economy collapses?

00:53:03.000 Store shelves are empty and your stored food is gone.

00:53:06.000 How will you feed your family?

00:53:07.000 True self-sufficiency and peace of mind is being able to grow a wide range of crops, ensuring a well-balanced diet for your family.

00:54:18.000 It is the Alex Jones Show.

00:54:20.000 I am Jason Berman, sitting in all week.

00:54:22.000 And don't worry, Alex Jones will be back, I believe, Sunday.

00:54:25.000 You can't keep him away from Radio Studios.

00:54:29.000 We're going to go back to your calls in a moment.

00:54:31.000 And by the way with the calls, folks, if I cut you off, I'm sorry, but I have this long list of callers.

00:54:37.000 I've got to get them in.

00:54:39.000 Every time I'm talking to you, I've got five more waiting.

00:54:42.000 And then on top of that, I get two types of emails on my MySpace, usually.

00:54:46.000 Usually, oh, I can't believe you cut me off, or oh, I just couldn't get through to the show.

00:54:52.000 It's kind of a conundrum.

00:54:53.000 If I don't cut people off and give everybody their 30 seconds to 90 seconds on the air, then I can't have everybody come on and I get a ton of emails, oh, I couldn't even get on the air.

00:55:01.000 Well, we try to get everybody on the air, we try to get everybody's points in, whether you agree or disagree.

00:55:06.000 Before we go back to calls, I do want to thank yet another one of our sponsors, eFoods Direct.

00:55:11.000 That is eFoodsDirect.com, of course.

00:55:14.000 And the number is 1-800-409-5633.

00:55:17.000 Okay, so you don't have to remind you that you need food to survive.

00:55:20.000 Our biggest sponsor, eFoods Direct, is the longest continually operating storable foods company in the country.

00:55:26.000 They also happen to be true patriots and have supported the freedom movement for years and years.

00:55:30.000 With the looming food shortages and current economy, the real deal.

00:55:35.000 It is imperative that you make sure you and your family are prepared with non-GMO, good, clean, storable foods.

00:55:42.000 That's efoodsdirect.com, 1-800-409-5633.

00:55:46.000 1-800-409-5633.

00:55:50.000 All right, let's jump to our next caller.

00:55:52.000 Let's go to Paul in Colorado.

00:55:55.000 Paul, what's on your mind?

00:55:57.000 Hey, Jason, you're doing an awesome job, by the way.

00:56:01.000 Oh, thank you.

00:56:01.000 Excellent. Nobody could do better at any age, really.

00:56:04.000 Hey, listen, I've been listening to Alex for probably 10 years now, and the one thing that he's always, I've heard him, he gets really frustrated, he's looking for an answer on a particular area, and I'm telling you, I don't care who you are, I don't care what church you go to,

00:56:20.000 who Christian group you are, almost every single person out there never understands this one aspect, which if you give me a chance to say it right now, it could literally unlock a lot of doors for the imperial war, or should I say for the fight of freedom. Okay, go ahead.

00:56:37.000 This is, okay, this is that the war that we're really fighting, which is clearly put in the Bible, is a war they call a principality.

00:56:46.000 That means a war between spirits, okay?

00:56:48.000 So there is the evil spirits that the satanic people are following. 1.00

00:56:54.000 These are the people that are trying to take us over.

00:56:56.000 And then, of course, who are they fighting against mostly?

00:56:58.000 Christianity and freedom and goodness, right?

00:57:04.000 Well, here's how we can win against these people, and I hope your listening audience takes good note of this and doesn't scoff at it too much and actually takes it to heart, but believe it or not, most of these people that are really evil are being puppeted by an evil spirit.

00:57:19.000 No joke.

00:57:20.000 There's actual evil spirits, and they're inside of people.

00:57:23.000 And I've tested this for 20 years, more than 20 years personally, and I've helped other people to test it too.

00:57:31.000 And everybody's been flabbergasted how true this is, okay?

00:57:35.000 Okay. Why would you want to waste your time arguing with an evil spirit who is going to say, obviously, all the bad stuff, and is not going to listen to you, and never going to change anything that they do?

00:57:47.000 Well, guess what?

00:57:49.000 The rule of thumb is, here's the part that no one wants to believe, but the power of the name of Jesus Christ can actually cast these people out.

00:58:02.000 Well, I have taught my friends, and I've done it myself, that if you're arguing with someone who's evil, you don't even waste your time.

00:58:11.000 You go in the restroom, cast the devil out, you say, in the name of Jesus Christ, I command Satan and all his angels to leave this property.

00:58:17.000 You are listening to GCN.

01:01:49.000 And, you know, these people do occult practices.

01:01:53.000 I mean, no matter what you believe, they do go out to the Bohemian Grove in California for two weeks out of the year.

01:01:59.000 Many of the elites, including You know, Reagan was a member, Nixon was a member, Clinton's a member, Schwarzenegger's a member, every Republican president since Coolidge is a member.

01:02:10.000 And they do the cremation of care, which is a one-hour pagan ritual about killing dull care or your conscience, where they do a mock human sacrifice in front of a 40-foot stone owl.

01:02:22.000 And so, you know, people that still don't know that, Just go to YouTube.

01:02:27.000 Just Google Bohemian Grove.

01:02:28.000 There is enough information out there that it can open your eyes.

01:02:31.000 All right, let's go to Julio in Los Angeles.

01:02:35.000 Julio, what's on your mind?

01:02:36.000 Hey, Jason.

01:03:23.000 So I'm not really physically fit right now, and I'm going to the beach about two hours a day.

01:03:29.000 And I listen to your show.

01:03:37.000 Yeah, man.

01:03:38.000 Thank you very much.

01:03:39.000 I just want to pass one little piece of information.

01:03:41.000 Maybe it's a little piece of the puzzle that, you know, it's hard to predict the future, but there are certain...

01:03:51.000 I've been hearing you, you know, you yourself say you don't know what's going to happen on the 20th, 21st of January or whatever, right, because of COVID.

01:04:01.000 Basically, I don't know if you've ever heard this, and I'm going to email it to Aaron at InfoWars.com.

01:04:07.000 Yep, Aaron at InfoWars.com.

01:04:17.000 It's basically an organization that has existed for decades in Central America.

01:04:23.000 You know, Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, etc.

01:04:25.000 And what they stand for is basically, they've never taken any decisive actions for the most part, up until December.

01:04:34.000 The 5th or the 6th of December of last year, all the dignitaries of all the countries in Central America, they got together and they decided that they're gonna adopt one common currency and one common passport now.

01:04:47.000 Send that information to Aaron right away.

01:04:48.000 It's the Alex Jones Show.

01:06:00.000 Today, unlike any other in the long course of American history, a terrorist act of war against this country.

01:06:07.000 The enemy struck America on September 11th.

01:06:09.000 Who is the enemy?

01:06:11.000 Bin Laden.

01:06:12.000 This is his ammo.

01:06:13.000 We have to look to the Middle East.

01:06:14.000 We have to look to Osama Bin Laden. 0.93

01:06:16.000 Fabled Enemies is the first 9-11 film to take a close look at the terrorist ties to intelligence networks inside the United States.

01:06:23.000 Some U.S. investigators believe that there are Israelis again very much engaged in spying in and on the U.S. I'm aware that some Israeli citizens have been detained.

01:06:33.000 Bin Laden's connections to the CIA, the hijackers'ties to the FBI, the Saudi Arabian connection, the Israeli Intelligence Network, Warnings and War Games, the shadow government, and much, much more.

01:06:44.000 Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.

01:07:01.000 Less is more.

01:07:02.000 I want you to think of Life Change T as, well, a 2008 Ferrari 612.

01:07:07.000 The Ferrari 612 is a two-door, four-passenger luxury car that gives an exploding 540 horsepower through its 6-liter V12.

01:07:15.000 It has a top speed of 199 miles per hour and can accelerate 0 to 60 in about 4 seconds.

01:07:21.000 Life Change T will accelerate your life into feeling more energy, losing weight, and cleansing toxins out of your body so you'll live longer.

01:07:28.000 And guess what?

01:07:29.000 You can accelerate your life without a Ferrari 612 sticker price of $318,000.

01:07:34.000 You can buy a green tee for less, but unfortunately, it's just another daily driver with no performance.

01:07:39.000 So for just about a dollar a day, you can drive the Ferrari of tees.

01:07:43.000 Don't be fooled by size.

01:07:44.000 Check our website out at getthetea.com.

01:07:47.000 That's getthetea.com.

01:07:49.000 Or you can call us at 928-308-0408.

01:07:53.000 Again, that's 928-308-0408.

01:07:56.000 Remember Life Change Tee.

01:07:58.000 Less is more.

01:07:59.000 Yeah.

01:08:00.000 He's the T-Rex of political talk, Alex Jones, on the GCN Radio Network.

01:08:09.000 All right, folks, we are back.

01:08:12.000 It is the Alex Jones Show, and we'll take your calls at about 40, 45 after, and hopefully they'll be on topic with my next guest, Bob Chapman of the internationalforecaster.com.

01:08:24.000 And Bob, it's been a while, but boy do we have a lot to talk about.

01:08:27.000 I mean, from the Democrats now proposing an $825 billion stimulus bill, to Circuit City about to liquidate, to Citigroup basically, I mean, not going under, but being absorbed by other banks and turning into different agencies.

01:08:42.000 The economy is asunder, is it not?

01:08:45.000 Well, it certainly is, unfortunately.

01:08:48.000 And it's a certain fact that Citigroup is bankrupt.

01:08:53.000 And Bank of America is bankrupt.

01:08:55.000 And the five major legacy banks are bankrupt.

01:08:59.000 The major brokerage firms are bankrupt.

01:09:02.000 And they're all going to get bailed out by the American taxpayer.

01:09:06.000 And that's what we're going through right now, and it's insidious.

01:09:09.000 They should be allowed to fail.

01:09:11.000 I absolutely agree, but they're not going to be allowed to fail now.

01:09:15.000 You know, the media is hard-pressing us to make us believe that only half of this bailout money, which they say is $350 billion, we know it's in the trillions because it's loaned and loaned again, and it really is only $350 billion they can loan out, and that's, you know, they can loan out ten times that, so it's $3.5 trillion right there.

01:09:32.000 Um, what's gonna happen?

01:09:34.000 I mean, are we just gonna pass?

01:09:35.000 I mean, Bernanke this week said that we're gonna need more bailouts.

01:09:38.000 Paulson, even in the beginning of the bailout process, said that some banks would go under anyway.

01:09:43.000 Uh, now we have, uh, you know, the new administration being inaugurated in about four days.

01:09:48.000 Uh, the Democrats proposing a $825 billion stimulus package.

01:09:52.000 And now, finally, Finally in the mainstream media, a few quote-unquote conservatives, it's time for the WWE left-right paradigm to come into play, saying that these bailouts are unconstitutional.

01:10:04.000 Well, no kidding they're unconstitutional.

01:10:05.000 But how far are they about to go?

01:10:08.000 Well, I think they're going to take it to the very end, whether we like it or not.

01:10:12.000 And we have no representation in our government, whether it's in the executive office or in Congress.

01:10:20.000 We have no control.

01:10:22.000 Very few of our representatives or senators listen.

01:10:26.000 And so that part of the game is over.

01:10:30.000 There's no way legally that we can change things in our government.

01:10:34.000 Our government has been usurped from behind the scenes by a group of people who are bent upon turning the United States into a corporatist fascist state and eventually into part of a world government.

01:10:52.000 Where do we think this is going?

01:10:55.000 The Fed Reserve have driven down interest rates to zero levels, effectively.

01:11:03.000 On the short end of the market, which is the paper under a year and under two years, they can probably get away with that for a long time.

01:11:12.000 At least until the end of the year, perhaps more.

01:11:15.000 Perhaps longer.

01:11:16.000 But in the fives, tens, and thirties, That is the 5 and 10 year notes and the 30 year bonds.

01:11:24.000 It's a different story.

01:11:26.000 And I think as the federal government crowds lenders out of the market and the fiscal and monetary aspects of the U.S. economy worsen over this year, that interest rates will finally start to go up on that long end.

01:11:45.000 And that will really put a crimp again into The issuance of mortgages right now you can get a 33 year fix for about four and a half and the fifteens are probably an eighth or a quarter lower and I think that that would be curtailed later in the year and That's going to cause problems and during that period of time Over the next nine months the dollar is going to continue to lose momentum and

01:12:14.000 move downward During that period as well Uh, with all of this money being thrown around, uh, gold will probably go, uh, this year, uh, at least to, uh, $1,600 to $2,000 an ounce and maybe higher.

01:12:32.000 And, uh, later it'll go higher.

01:12:34.000 And, uh, I see this extension of these problems lasting another two or three years.

01:12:42.000 And this is what Alex and I and Paul Craig Roberts talked about.

01:12:47.000 When Alex said, well, it's got to happen now or soon, as opposed to that, Paul and I said, no, two or three years.

01:12:55.000 Now you know why.

01:12:57.000 No, they got a stimulus package, $825 billion, that'll jack the economy up probably between March and September, and it'll go right back down again.

01:13:07.000 And that means they're going to have to keep on coming with these trillion-dollar packages.

01:13:11.000 Well, every time they do that, they're adding to inflation.

01:13:15.000 And they're adding to the underlying problems of the solvency of not only the United States, but the dollar and the economy and the whole financial structure itself.

01:13:24.000 So you just said that after they pass the stimulus package that you'll see the economy boost from September to March, but my question is, how will that happen?

01:13:33.000 I mean, if the auto industries, by then, you know, they pretty much, the bailout for them hasn't worked, and they go public with that, How is it that the economy will do better even in those months if we put this money in?

01:13:46.000 I mean, will it just do better on the news and people are still going to be feeling at home?

01:13:51.000 Or will we genuinely be doing better and then in for a big fall after March?

01:13:59.000 Generally doing better between March and September.

01:14:04.000 And after that's over, it'll start to go into the great dark pit again.

01:14:10.000 And three or four months later, they're going to do it over again.

01:14:13.000 They're going to have to keep on doing it.

01:14:15.000 And what they're doing is they're creating make-work jobs.

01:14:20.000 The same thing FDR did during the 1930s, particularly between 1935 and 1940.

01:14:26.000 And in 1939, unemployment was 17.2%, down for somewhere around 30. And today, long-term unemployment, that goes back to 1990, government figures, It's 17 and a half percent.

01:14:42.000 The U6, which are the people who no longer collect unemployment checks, is 13 and a half percent, and that dingbat number that we're given, which is 7.2, means nothing.

01:14:52.000 So, if you middle the thing, we're already up at 13 and a half percent.

01:14:57.000 We've had two years of recession, and I announced a recession two years ago, about a week or two weeks from now, in February.

01:15:05.000 We are now entering depression.

01:15:07.000 This is the beginning.

01:15:08.000 Oh, they call it a severe recession.

01:15:11.000 Uh, no, it's not that.

01:15:12.000 We're entering depression.

01:15:14.000 I wonder, will depression get really bad two or three years from now?

01:15:18.000 Everything doesn't happen overnight.

01:15:19.000 Well, you just talked about FDR and his program, so do you see a new New Deal like Tarpley has talked about, or a resurgence of a works progress administration type program where people without jobs are going to start building infrastructure again, are going to start paving roads and building sidewalks and doing that sort of thing?

01:15:38.000 Yes, that will be part of the package.

01:15:41.000 And that's why there's going to be more packages coming, because if you notice, the first package has been split up into pieces.

01:15:47.000 Uh, Medicaid's going to get so much, education, and on and on.

01:15:53.000 And, you know, it's being segmented.

01:15:56.000 It's being parceled out to different places.

01:15:59.000 And that is not going to get them as many jobs.

01:16:02.000 He's talking four or five million jobs now.

01:16:04.000 He's out of his mind.

01:16:06.000 I mean, if they create a half a million jobs, they'll be lucky.

01:16:10.000 You know, over a nine-month span here.

01:16:13.000 And the jobs...

01:16:16.000 I'm working for the federal government, or working for companies that are getting contacts from the federal government.

01:16:22.000 They're all temporary work.

01:16:25.000 I mean, maybe if they fixed a road, maybe it'll become permanent, or a bridge.

01:16:30.000 The Hoover Dam was made there in the 1930s, and all those golf courses, and they're still around.

01:16:36.000 But they don't create anything.

01:16:39.000 Well, I mean, even in my town that I grew up in, you still see the WPA little Well, then what happens?

01:16:55.000 I mean, maybe they're figuring that we'll be in a world war by that time, so the economy will boost out when that's over?

01:17:01.000 you stole my thunder.

01:17:02.000 The next step I was going to talk about was, if you look at history, the only way that they got to go is to have another war. 0.51

01:17:10.000 And we're having a backdoor war right now.

01:17:13.000 Our surrogate, Israel, has gone into Gaza and done what they've done. 0.60

01:17:18.000 Now next will be Lebanon, and Syria, and then Iran, and then we've got Afghanistan, and we've got Pakistan, and we probably have India, and who knows about the rest of the Middle East?

01:17:29.000 So, we're going to have a third world war, nuclear weapons will be used, and this will go on for the next ten years, probably. 0.56

01:17:38.000 Oh my God.

01:17:39.000 Well, I hope you're genuinely wrong on that, although I do see an escalation in the Middle East.

01:17:44.000 You know, Obama is already talking about more troops in Afghanistan, which basically is a redistribution of forces as we leave Iraq.

01:17:51.000 And we're not just going to completely leave Iraq, people.

01:17:53.000 Believe me, we'll still have forces there.

01:17:55.000 But the majority of forces will be brought over to Afghanistan.

01:17:58.000 You know, the media will play it up into some kind of military quagmire over there.

01:18:02.000 And we're not getting out.

01:18:04.000 Just like you said, I mean, if you look at the chief of staff pick, Rahm Emanuel, dual Israeli and American citizen, calling for conscription of 18 to 25 year olds where they'll serve three months in basic training and then be shipped off to a desert to fight for us, really just fight for the globalists.

01:18:21.000 And that's scary to me because, you know, Tom Blankley, and we've been playing these clips all week, but Tom Blankley of the Washington Times, he's an editor of the editorial page there, In 2007 was all over the news talking about conscription, but said, you know, it wasn't going to happen under this Bush administration because enough people weren't going to get behind him.

01:18:38.000 He didn't have the image to be able to propose such a program.

01:18:41.000 However, he said in the next administration, and that's why this week he was on Fox and Friends promoting his new book called American Grit.

01:18:48.000 Where, again, he's calling for conscription.

01:18:50.000 Only this time, under this administration, he believes it's possible.

01:18:54.000 And, Bob, I gotta tell you, you know, with the image that they're portraying Obama, I mean, he's on the cover of the new Spider-Man comic.

01:19:00.000 The thing sold out in less than 24 hours.

01:19:02.000 It's now selling for $80 plus on eBay.

01:19:04.000 A little comic book, you know, with this guy's cover on it.

01:19:07.000 They deified Obama on the cover of Rolling Stone, literally putting him in the clouds and putting a lightning glow aura around him.

01:19:14.000 He's on the cover of the new Newsweek, where the title is, We'll talk about that especially.

01:19:35.000 In fact, we're going to bring up some clips with Bob Chapman of the internationalforecaster.com.

01:19:39.000 It is the Alex Jones Show.

01:19:41.000 Please go to PrisonPlanet.tv and become a subscriber.

01:19:44.000 That way you can see my pretty face two hours a day or Alex's pretty face two hours a day over at ThePrisonPlanet.tv.

01:19:49.000 It's the Alex Jones Show.

01:19:50.000 We'll be back after this.

01:19:51.000 We'll be back after this.

01:22:59.000 This year, many of us will have to make the tough decision on what to cut back on and what's essential as we prepare for an uncertain future.

01:23:08.000 In these troubled times, one of the most important things your family can have is good health.

01:23:12.000 Some of the contributors to poor health are parasites, viruses, toxins, and heavy metals.

01:23:17.000 It's a documented fact.

01:23:19.000 80% of all Americans and 85% of people around the world suffer from internal parasites and parasitic infection.

01:23:26.000 Now you can fight internal parasites, heavy metals, and high cholesterol naturally and safely by mixing fossilized phytoplankton powder, also known as FPP, with your favorite beverage once a day.

01:23:38.000 FPP is now available to you from FreshwaterOrganics.com.

01:23:42.000 A two-month supply starts at just $17.

01:24:16.000 We are back!

01:24:17.000 Every time I hear that music, I think of the Police State Trilogy that Alex Jones put out many, many years ago.

01:24:22.000 Police State, Police State 2, The Takeover.

01:24:25.000 And of course, I think Police State 3, Global Domination.

01:24:31.000 Before we go back to Bob Chapman of TheInternationalForecaster.com, I want to play these clips of Tom Blankley, editor over at Washington Times, calling for conscription in 2007, saying it's not going to be possible under this administration, and then this week going on to Fox& Friends.

01:24:46.000 So hopefully we're set up there to play this clip.

01:24:48.000 I'm about to hit play and hopefully it'll go out over the air.

01:24:53.000 Okay, guys, we need audio on this clip.

01:24:56.000 Okay? The draft should be considered and has always been an option on the table.

01:25:02.000 A Pentagon spokesman frantically rejected the idea today, saying that the military is giving the idea, quote, absolutely no consideration, unquote.

01:25:12.000 But is it time to revive conscription for the first time since Richard Nixon?

01:25:17.000 Back to discuss it are Democratic strategist Stephanie Cutter and editor of the Washington Times editorial page, Tony Blankley.

01:25:25.000 Tony, I've just seen the political year.

01:25:28.000 Nobody's going to recommend a return to the draft.

01:25:31.000 But is the draft a good idea, or is a partial draft a good idea?

01:25:35.000 We've got 5,000 troops in the Army.

01:25:38.000 It is breaking, according to the Army Chief of Staff, on the basis of two small guerrilla wars.

01:25:45.000 Now, is the U.S. Army big enough and strong enough to handle all the commitments this country's got?

01:25:50.000 First of all, it's not going to happen on Bush's watch, because it's not time for that debate to occur.

01:25:57.000 The military clearly is not big enough to do the job that's gonna be required of it.

01:26:02.000 All right, let's stop that clip right there. 0.97

01:26:04.000 Notice he said, it's not gonna happen on Bush's watch.

01:26:07.000 No, we need somebody else to get behind, but the military's not big enough.

01:26:12.000 Welcome back everyone, seven minutes before the top of the hour.

01:26:15.000 Can America's power last forever and how do we achieve a new nationalism that puts our country's survival first?

01:26:21.000 Those questions and more are addressed in a brand new book by Tony Blankley.

01:26:25.000 It comes out today.

01:26:26.000 It's called American Grit.

01:26:27.000 What will it take for America to survive and win in the 21st century?

01:26:32.000 And joining us for his first TV interview about the book is Tony Blankley.

01:26:35.000 Tony, good morning to you.

01:26:36.000 Good morning.

01:26:37.000 Thank you.

01:26:38.000 You know, if you read some of the European papers, they're talking about America is finally in decline.

01:26:44.000 They're getting what they've had coming to them all along.

01:26:46.000 Do you believe that?

01:26:48.000 Well, it could be so.

01:26:50.000 We have it in our power not to be in decline, and that's what my book's about.

01:26:54.000 I do believe that for the first time in our history, if we don't do a lot of things smart and tough, we could get overwhelmed by the rise of China, the rise of India, the rise of radical Islam. 0.99

01:27:04.000 We've failed to exploit our energy.

01:27:08.000 We're not paying enough attention to what our kids are learning.

01:27:11.000 Bill Ayers is actually a senior person in guiding the curriculum design of America.

01:27:16.000 that started just this last march so he i'd but we have it in our power right there i try to write some tough proposals what what we need to do so that our grandchildren live in a country strong enough to protect our Yeah, Tony, your book's going to get a lot of attention because there are some controversial, bold suggestions.

01:27:34.000 The first one, obviously, that caught my eye was that you were calling for a universal draft, which would mean that all 18-year-olds in America would have to serve for two years.

01:27:44.000 Yes, look, I don't like it.

01:27:46.000 I love the volunteer army.

01:27:48.000 I've got a son who's a second lieutenant in the volunteer army.

01:27:51.000 I know the young men and women who serve, they're the greatest young kids we've ever produced.

01:27:57.000 But we don't have enough troops, and it's manifest that we don't by several magnitudes.

01:28:01.000 For instance, when George Bush wanted to have the surge, he was told by the senior generals we didn't have the extra 20,000 troops to finish the war.

01:28:11.000 Now, he decided Now you see how he uses that false argument.

01:28:14.000 The surge was never intended to work, and if we had 20,000 more troops, we still would have been in Iraq, and it wouldn't have de-escalated any time sooner.

01:28:20.000 But he uses that as an excuse, and he's always saying, oh, I love the volunteer army, but it's just not going to work.

01:28:27.000 And he also grandstands the fact that his son is in the military to try to promote this idea of conscription.

01:28:33.000 Bob, do you think that we're going to have conscription under this new administration?

01:28:37.000 Absolutely. Boys and girls.

01:28:43.000 We're going to have them both.

01:28:44.000 No one's going to escape it.

01:28:46.000 And I would expect, probably, under those circumstances, that a lot of young people would leave the country.

01:28:52.000 I hope a lot of young people leave the country. 1.00

01:28:54.000 I hope that we stand up about this.

01:28:56.000 But when you say, you know, boys and girls, what do you expect?

01:28:59.000 Do you expect that the women will mostly be thrown into some kind of a homeland security program while the men will have to go fight overseas?

01:29:07.000 No, I think probably they'll have a volunteer offer, and if they don't get enough volunteers to fill the segment within the active army, then they'll change it.

01:29:28.000 Well, I certainly hope you're wrong, but it does look that way.

01:29:32.000 You know, I also see them scooping up kids from poor black neighborhoods under the guise of Obama and, you know, this black power movement, this youth movement.

01:29:39.000 You know, anybody can do this.

01:29:40.000 It's the Alex Jones Show.

01:29:42.000 be back with Bob Chapman of theinternationalforecaster.com after this.

01:29:45.000 Music We're on the march.

01:29:52.000 The empire's on the run.

01:29:54.000 Alex Jones and the GCN Radio Network.

01:30:00.000 Phase one of the insiders plan for a one-world government has been initiated with the recent bailout.

01:30:05.000 International bankers and power brokers have engineered the current crisis to create a new currency and a new world bank to act as savior.

01:30:13.000 But we've only seen the beginning.

01:30:14.000 Their next engineered crisis will be on a scale never before seen in modern times.

01:30:18.000 Shortages and empty shelves will spread fear and panic across the land.

01:30:22.000 The insiders have discovered that they must control two things to seize total power.

01:30:27.000 Phase 1 is a one-world currency, which we are currently being prepared to accept.

01:30:31.000 Phase 2 of their insidious plan is complete control of our food supplies.

01:30:35.000 Go to www.foodshortageusa.com for the details.

01:30:39.000 That's www.foodshortageusa.com.

01:30:43.000 To learn how to prepare for the unthinkable, don't wait for empty shelves.

01:30:47.000 Learn how to make your own survival foods for pennies on the dollar.

01:30:50.000 Go to foodshortageusa.com or call 877-327-0365.

01:30:56.000 That's 877-327-0365.

01:31:07.000 The enemy struck America on September 11th.

01:31:10.000 But who is the enemy?

01:31:11.000 Bin Laden.

01:31:12.000 This is his M.O. We have to look to the Middle East.

01:31:14.000 We have to look to Osama Bin Laden. 0.93

01:31:16.000 Fabled Enemies is the first 9-11 film to take a close look at the terrorist ties to intelligence networks inside the United States.

01:31:23.000 Some U.S. investigators believe that there are Israelis, again, very much engaged in spying in and on the U.S. I'm aware that some Israeli citizens have been detained.

01:31:34.000 Bin Laden's connections to the CIA, the hijackers' ties to the FBI, the Saudi Arabian government, I am so frustrated.

01:32:01.000 I can't seem to remember anything anymore.

01:32:04.000 What? Seriously, my memory and attention span is terrible.

01:32:07.000 I read something and forget.

01:32:09.000 I forget people's names, I hear all this great information on the radio, and I want to tell people, but I forget.

01:32:14.000 I... Okay, slow down.

01:32:15.000 Poor attention and memory loss is not your fault.

01:32:18.000 Factors like fluoride in the water, aluminum in deodorants, genetically modified foods, the way the education system taught you. 0.79

01:32:25.000 It's all meant to dumb you down.

01:32:27.000 You know, I can remember everything now.

01:32:28.000 Even entire books.

01:32:30.000 What? How?

01:32:30.000 There is this website called School of Phenomenal Memory.

01:32:38.000 Wow. What's the website?

01:32:54.000 Now, don't forget, it's pmemory.net.

01:32:57.000 The letter P, memory.net.

01:33:00.000 Music Don't want no shackles Don't want no shackles on me That's right, sing it Jimmy!

01:33:22.000 Don't want no shackles Don't want no shackles on me That's right.

01:33:29.000 I don't want any shackles on me, whether they be physical shackles or shackles of the mind.

01:33:35.000 No, sir.

01:33:39.000 I gotta tell you, Bob, one of the more disconcerting things that I saw on the web, and the reason I think that they are gonna scoop out African-American young males from these poor regions, is a teacher, I think it was out in Missouri or something like that, got all of his students You're

01:34:22.000 probably very right.

01:34:24.000 It's all part of psycho-political warfare as well.

01:34:28.000 And, you know, when you have high unemployment, and if you just take the median official figure, 13.5%, and you extend it over the next year, and let's say it grows to, say, 16 or 17%, again, you're at the levels you were in 1939, and there's a lot of disgruntlement.

01:34:51.000 People who get unemployed are people between 18 and 25 years old.

01:34:57.000 This is a problem Europe's having right now.

01:34:59.000 And that's why you were seeing the problems in Greece, among other things.

01:35:04.000 And so, you gotta get these people off the streets.

01:35:10.000 Who does the fighting in warfare? 0.92

01:35:12.000 Who causes the troubles?

01:35:13.000 Who's got the strength?

01:35:15.000 Who has the endurance?

01:35:17.000 Young people do.

01:35:18.000 I mean, that's why Uh, governments draft young people, usually 17 and older, and usually 17 to 25. So they want these people off the streets. 0.97

01:35:29.000 So they have their make-believe war, and they, they draft men and women and get them off the streets. 0.63

01:35:35.000 So that, you know, if there's revolution in the country, uh, old people like me have to fight it.

01:35:42.000 Bob, why don't you throw out the website and the phone number?

01:35:45.000 Uh, the website.

01:35:48.000 Internationalforecaster.com and if you go there you can get a free introductory copy of The International Forecaster and you can also get one by calling toll-free 877-479-8178 that's 877-479-8178 and TheInternationalForecaster.com Alright,

01:36:14.000 I want to play this Obama Youth Brigade marching formation clip just to show the mentality of these young kids.

01:36:20.000 I mean, these are teenage kids, maybe, you know, 12 to 18. And, uh, you know, Obama is the next savior, folks.

01:36:29.000 We got volume on that?

01:36:31.000 Guys? Because of Obama, I'm inspired to be the next doctor.

01:36:58.000 Because of Obama, I'm inspired to be the next lawyer.

01:37:03.000 Because of Obama, I'm inspired to be the next automotive technician.

01:37:07.000 Because of Obama, I'm inspired to be the next chef.

01:37:10.000 Because of Obama, I'm inspired to be the next architect.

01:37:14.000 Because of Obama, I'm inspired to be the next engineer.

01:37:17.000 Because of Obama, I'm inspired to be the next farmer.

01:37:22.000 Because of Obama, I'm inspired to be the next architect.

01:37:26.000 Because of Obama, I'm inspired to be the next chemical engineer.

01:37:30.000 Because of Obama, I'm inspired to be the next entrepreneur.

01:37:33.000 And while they're doing this, they're all doing special hand signals.

01:37:36.000 It's very military-esque.

01:37:38.000 And how about because of yourself, you want to be Well, I started trading him in 1992.

01:38:10.000 If you look behind the scenes, you'll see that.

01:38:13.000 What they're trying to do is create a cult here. 0.87

01:38:17.000 We've seen cults before in North Korea and in China.

01:38:23.000 We also have seen them in history.

01:38:27.000 It's a very, very bad thing.

01:38:30.000 It usually ends up in a very, very bad way.

01:38:36.000 It looks like bad news, Brown, to me.

01:38:38.000 I want to talk a little bit about some of the appointments that have been made over the week.

01:38:42.000 People now know that Richard Haass is on the team.

01:38:45.000 They're well aware that Rahm Emanuel is the Chief of Staff, Mr. Conscription himself.

01:38:49.000 But a couple this week where John Kerry is now the head of the Foreign Relations Committee and will be Hillary Clinton's right-hand man.

01:38:56.000 See, you throw an election in 2004, you play ball, you're the head of the Foreign Relations Committee four years later.

01:39:01.000 And Obama has also named as his global climate czar, or his global warming czar, Carol M. Browner, one of the 14 leaders of the Socialist Group's Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which openly is calling for global governance and basically regulating you through a carbon tax.

01:39:22.000 Isn't that delicious?

01:39:23.000 I mean, these two are Well, and they have, to people who look and think and read.

01:39:34.000 But it's always, you know, that group that absorbs everything that's going on.

01:39:40.000 And then you have the rest of the people.

01:39:42.000 And half the people, in America at least, don't know what's going on, don't care to know what's going on.

01:39:50.000 Somebody said to me the other day, one of the programs, what do you do?

01:39:54.000 I said, well, the only thing you can do is use them as shields.

01:39:57.000 But, you know, what more do they expect?

01:40:02.000 They think this is all going to go away.

01:40:04.000 They don't understand fascism, socialism, communism, nor do they want to.

01:40:10.000 They just hope that they can get their belly filled and go to the football games and things like that.

01:40:16.000 And that's all I care about.

01:40:17.000 So the other half, Of the people who left, probably 10 to 15 percent will really carry the ball.

01:40:26.000 And I think because we've been robbed of representation in our government, and we're going to have high unemployment, and even if we have a draft, there's going to be terrible social problems in America.

01:40:42.000 I have to agree there, and you mentioned the football game.

01:40:44.000 For the first time ever, ESPN is going to show the presidential inauguration.

01:40:49.000 That's how important Obama is.

01:40:50.000 So the sports networks are even going to be covering Obama.

01:40:54.000 And, you know, when I saw this article yesterday, it didn't really surprise me because, you know, a couple months back, even before he had been elected president, I was sitting down watching SportsCenter with my friend Obama's face.

01:41:07.000 You know, popped up on the screen.

01:41:08.000 I'm like, well, why is Obama on SportsCenter?

01:41:10.000 And the guy's like, oh, you didn't hear?

01:41:11.000 He's for a college football playoff.

01:41:14.000 So ESPN has really been supporting him.

01:41:16.000 And I'm thinking to myself, man, you know, as a sports fan, I've always wanted a college football playoff.

01:41:20.000 So he really is playing to the bread and circus commoner. 0.96

01:41:24.000 And, you know, that's what most people see.

01:41:26.000 Like you said, they don't see that he is backed by people like Brzezinski.

01:41:30.000 They don't see that his team with people like Gates is, you know, Same as the old boss.

01:41:36.000 Old boss, same as the new boss.

01:41:38.000 And he is going to keep carrying out this globalist agenda for the internationalists.

01:41:42.000 Alright, let's take some calls.

01:41:43.000 Hopefully they're going to be on topic with Bob Chapman of TheInternationalForecaster.com.

01:41:48.000 That's TheInternationalForecaster.com.

01:41:51.000 Let's go to a first-time caller, Jim, in Vegas.

01:41:54.000 Jim, what's on your mind?

01:41:55.000 Hey guys, how you doing?

01:41:57.000 Good. Yeah, I do have a question for Bob.

01:42:01.000 I'm buying gold and silver right now.

01:42:03.000 Gold eagles and other silver, junk silver and whatnot.

01:42:08.000 And my question to you is, is everyone saying that gold is going to go up, silver is going to go up in the next 18 months.

01:42:16.000 How long do you hold onto it for?

01:42:19.000 Because if gold is at, say, $22,000 an ounce, But it's $2,000 an ounce of worthless dollars, and what happens if they call it in?

01:42:30.000 You know what I'm saying?

01:42:32.000 You're saying $2,200 an ounce?

01:42:33.000 Yeah, we know what you're saying.

01:42:34.000 Yes. You've asked a number of questions here.

01:42:37.000 First of all, people subscribe to the International Forecaster so they'll know when to make changes.

01:42:43.000 Second of all, I hope that you're doing business with Midas as well.

01:42:50.000 They do sell gold and silver coins.

01:42:53.000 If you didn't know that.

01:42:56.000 And also, I think the accumulation thereof is a good thing to do.

01:43:04.000 And I don't expect any kind of execution of law that's going to relieve you of your gold and silver assets.

01:43:12.000 And the reason why is there's not enough Americans who own enough amount of gold and silver to make it worthwhile.

01:43:22.000 For the government to enrage everybody.

01:43:25.000 I think if they wanted to do that, they would go to the ETF and say, look, you people are professionals, so we need that 720 tons of gold that you've got there.

01:43:36.000 And we'd like to relieve you of it, but we're going to pay you in dollars.

01:43:39.000 And professional investors don't really care.

01:43:42.000 They'll take the dollars and say, well, what can I do about it?

01:43:45.000 But I don't see them going after coins.

01:43:49.000 And it's just...

01:43:51.000 Too politically undesirable under the circumstances.

01:43:57.000 Because you're going to have a lot of other problems.

01:44:00.000 And those other problems are social in nature, if not quasi-political.

01:44:06.000 If you have unemployment and people have lost their homes and their jobs and their cars and, you know, they're on the streets, it's going to be a very, very bad thing.

01:44:21.000 I don't think the government will want any more heat than it's already got.

01:44:25.000 And if you're looking to exchange the gold for some type of currency and the dollar has already been blown out, I mean, it'll still be worth something in euros, in pounds, in foreign currency, where hopefully it's a tightrope, isn't it, Bob?

01:44:39.000 I mean, if the dollar goes under, it's the world reserve currency.

01:44:42.000 You know, you've got a good point there.

01:44:43.000 And let me give you the bottom line.

01:44:45.000 There is no place else to go.

01:44:47.000 The stock market has gone down and will continue to do so.

01:44:51.000 Because earnings are going down.

01:44:53.000 I mean, we're in a deep recession already, and depression is beginning.

01:44:58.000 It's just that nobody wants to admit it.

01:45:00.000 So, if that's the case, the interest rates ultimately are going to start moving back upward.

01:45:07.000 When that happens, real estate has already gone down, commodities have already gone down.

01:45:12.000 What is left?

01:45:14.000 And you're in a hyperinflationary environment, or at least an inflationary environment, where At least for some period of time.

01:45:21.000 You go to gold and silver.

01:45:23.000 Now, when you get to the apex of the hyperinflation and it starts to head downward because you're heading deeply into depression, what you want to have is only gold, bullion, coin.

01:45:37.000 And the reason for that is it will hold its value.

01:45:41.000 There's no premium to speak of, and although premium may happen, Well, I agree with you there.

01:46:11.000 Thank you so much for the call.

01:46:13.000 Alright, let's jump to Missy in Michigan. 0.99

01:46:15.000 Missy, what's on your mind?

01:46:18.000 I've been hearing so much about dollar devaluation.

01:46:22.000 Can you help me understand what that actually looks like?

01:46:25.000 How does that happen?

01:46:26.000 What happens in the real world?

01:46:28.000 They just come out and say, your dollar is now worth 70 cents?

01:46:31.000 Well, basically, first of all, they do it gradually.

01:46:33.000 So you are less and less aware.

01:46:36.000 But yeah, every day, for instance, before 9-11, our dollar was high above the euro.

01:46:42.000 It was about a dollar to 75, 76 cents.

01:46:44.000 So we were, you know, 24 cents more than that.

01:46:47.000 Now the euro is about a dollar 37, dollar 40 compared to our dollar.

01:46:52.000 Bob, why don't you explain it to her?

01:46:54.000 Because people are talking about it like it's an event, like something will happen and someone will declare, now the dollar is devalued.

01:47:01.000 Go ahead.

01:47:02.000 Well, a government can do that.

01:47:03.000 And governments usually do that because they owe other people money.

01:47:07.000 And in this case, we owe 17 trillion dollars to our creditors out there who are foreigners. 0.98

01:47:16.000 And it's just as bad for Americans as well.

01:47:19.000 And so, in order to get rid of that, they say, look, Our currency is no longer selling at 131 to a euro.

01:47:29.000 It's now selling at 180 to a euro.

01:47:32.000 And so we have decided that for every $10 that you have, we're going to give you one new one.

01:47:41.000 And that is the way devaluation takes place.

01:47:44.000 Now, there are other forms of devaluation.

01:47:47.000 Devaluation is caused by inflation, which robs The currency of its buying power.

01:47:53.000 That's more subtle.

01:47:55.000 Subtle. It's stealth.

01:47:57.000 It's stealing.

01:48:00.000 Now, the other is, too, but the devaluation is an event.

01:48:05.000 It happens.

01:48:06.000 It's over.

01:48:07.000 Whereas, when you have inflation, it gets you a little bit every day.

01:48:14.000 Well, an example for in the real world is if you were to go down to Mexico ten years ago on a vacation and you brought the dollar, you know, you would have probably gotten twice the bang for your buck because It was worth more.

01:48:26.000 It was more compared to the peso.

01:48:29.000 If you'd gone to Europe, you would have had twice the value to your buck going over there.

01:48:33.000 But now if you go online and you try to buy something out of Europe and it's in pounds or in euros, you're actually going to pay almost twice what it would be in dollars.

01:48:43.000 So in the real world, People are stopping taking dollars.

01:48:48.000 I mean, it is the real world.

01:48:50.000 Although it's still the world reserve currency, less and less people want dollars.

01:48:54.000 In fact, some people are requesting euros.

01:48:56.000 I think that was even a subplot in the latest Bond movie.

01:48:59.000 The dictators didn't want dollars anymore.

01:49:01.000 They demanded euros in briefcases.

01:49:05.000 Missy? Well, I didn't see the movie, but that's probably true. 1.00

01:49:09.000 But there are countries Who would prefer not to take dollars, particularly in Central and South America.

01:49:15.000 Alright, let's take one more phone call before the break.

01:49:18.000 Let's go to Ship in Missouri.

01:49:21.000 Ship, what's on your mind?

01:49:23.000 Hey Jason, how are you?

01:49:24.000 Good. Alright, my question is for Bob.

01:49:27.000 I would like to know how you think the North American Union and potentially the rise of the Amaro plays into the whole thing.

01:49:37.000 A new currency could really shape it, and so is this economic collapse, are they just using it to consolidate wealth and real resources to rob us just so they can say, okay, we're gonna start over and we're still on top?

01:49:50.000 I don't know.

01:49:50.000 Could you speak to that, please?

01:49:52.000 Okay, first of all, the North American Union has effectively, temporarily at least, been derailed.

01:50:03.000 Thanks to the efforts of Alex Jones and others.

01:50:06.000 Uh, the exposure of what the Council on Foreign Relations and, uh, Mr. Pastor was trying to, uh, get around us without letting us know.

01:50:16.000 Uh, but he doesn't realize that lots of us read foreign affairs.

01:50:20.000 In fact, I've been a reader since 1960.

01:50:22.000 And, uh, that is the house slogan of the Council on Foreign Relations.

01:50:26.000 And they came right out and said, this is what we want to do.

01:50:29.000 And so, I think it's been stopped at the pass.

01:50:32.000 And how long that'll last, I don't know.

01:50:34.000 I don't think that they're going to use an Amaro in a devaluation in the United States.

01:50:42.000 Bob, we'll be back right on the other side, and we'll talk about the North American Union, theinternationalforecaster.com, infowars.com, and prisonplanet.tv.

01:54:11.000 With Bob Chapman of TheInternationalForecaster.com over at Infowars.com.

01:54:16.000 I am Jason Burma, sitting in for the Alex Jones Show all week.

01:54:20.000 And remember, if you missed any of the broadcasts today, we will be rebroadcasting all four hours at the bottom of the fourth hour.

01:54:27.000 We're going to be going live on PrisonPlanet.tv in about five minutes.

01:54:31.000 It's just been so fun sitting in for Alex Jones.

01:54:34.000 What's not fun is the fact that we're being thrown into this just Economic disaster in our country.

01:54:43.000 And on top of that, you know, as far as the last caller in the North American Union, Dobbs, one of the last, you know, great American mainline reporters, has reported that the Obama administration is going to open up talks again with the SPP people, the Securities and Prosperity Partnership people that the Bush administration talked to.

01:55:02.000 So we will see where it goes from there.

01:55:04.000 Bob, why don't you give people your website and the phone number?

01:55:08.000 Uh, the website is TheInternationalForecaster.com.

01:55:18.000 TheInternationalForecaster.com.

01:55:21.000 Uh, the toll-free number is 877-479-8178.

01:55:28.000 877-479-8178.

01:55:32.000 And you get a free copy of The International Forecaster, whether it's by email or in hard copy.

01:55:38.000 Excellent. Now you were talking to Ship and you were saying that you don't think that they're going to bring in an Amero to bring in this North American Union. 0.90

01:55:45.000 I tend to think that they're going to try to consolidate Absolutely.

01:55:57.000 saying that we need to put the Canadian dollar on parity with the U.S.

01:56:01.000 dollar. I would be pretty surprised if we saw an actual Amero coin or Amero dollar within the next year, wouldn't you?

01:56:08.000 Absolutely.

01:56:10.000 And, you know, they've been talking about that in Canada for a long time.

01:56:14.000 And at least 20 years and more so in the last several years.

01:56:21.000 But there's a lot of national pride there.

01:56:24.000 And the Canadians are going to fight this just as hard as the Americans are.

01:56:29.000 I find in my probing into Mexico, most people don't even know about it.

01:56:34.000 So it's not an issue.

01:56:36.000 But I don't see the Amero being a currency that would be a new currency for the United States.

01:56:46.000 Uh, maybe sometime in the future, five or ten years from now, if the North American Union were to become a successful entity for the internationalists, then, uh, there would be a good chance that an Amera would appear, but it's a long ways away.

01:57:01.000 Uh, if the dollar's gonna be devalued, you're gonna get another dollar, except, you know, you know, you give them five old ones for one new one, or whatever the exchange is.

01:57:11.000 Well, I sincerely hope that doesn't happen in this country, but it is a great possibility.

01:57:15.000 All right, let's take another call.

01:57:16.000 That's why gold is so important.

01:57:18.000 Gold will appreciate in a way which will offset the loss in the value of the dollar, and that's why gold is so important.

01:57:27.000 It goes up during hyperinflationary times, and it is used in a flight to quality in deflationary times.

01:57:35.000 So it serves all the purposes of a Financial being a currency, a world currency, that owes nobody nothing.

01:57:46.000 All right, let's go to William in Montreal.

01:57:49.000 William, what's on your mind?

01:57:50.000 Hello, I'm calling you from Montreal.

01:57:53.000 I have a question.

01:57:57.000 Actually, it's about Sarkozy.

01:58:01.000 Okay. And about a speech he made about two months ago.

01:58:07.000 Okay. You got 30 seconds, go for it.

01:58:21.000 Alright. So this crisis, we should handle it first.

02:01:32.000 Continue, William.

02:01:33.000 it's about that was two months ago and he was uh...

02:01:36.000 we're talking about uh...

02:01:38.000 and meeting they would have been on that november fifty but i'm going to continue reading that he's been expected that now clearly can't be told without massive intervention of the state the crisis called urgently of a new economical order financial monetary and that's a man the prep on from the for politics it's great it will probably market true You know, if you could get that in high quality, we would love to have it over here.

02:02:28.000 You're so good.

02:02:28.000 And then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, the head of Georgia over there, he says, Russia is against the New World Order, Glenn!

02:02:37.000 And, you know, Glenn Beck tries to be this anti-New World Order guy.

02:02:40.000 He just got hired by Fox, off of CNN, and he's not.

02:02:43.000 As soon as Bye now.

02:02:58.000 What I'm talking about, it's not what Alex Jones is talking about.

02:03:02.000 It's what world leaders have been talking about now for centuries.

02:03:06.000 And really have increased their talk about it over the last few decades.

02:03:09.000 You know, leaders like Jesse Jackson and the Civil Rights Movement.

02:03:12.000 Leaders on the right like George H.W. Bush.

02:03:16.000 You know, leaders on the left like Bill Clinton.

02:03:18.000 They're all, just type in New World Order in any of those names.

02:03:21.000 People like Joe Biden who write articles for the Wall Street Journal saying how I love to learn, or how I learned to love the New World Order.

02:03:29.000 And the New World Order is just about setting incremental policies to bring in global government.

02:03:33.000 That's why the Bush administration made all these executive orders, passed the Patriots, 1 and 2, Military Commissions Act, and all that good stuff.

02:03:40.000 And guess what?

02:03:40.000 The powers ain't going anywhere.

02:03:44.000 And that's why Newsweek puts out an article called Obama's Cheney Dilemma.

02:03:49.000 You know, Cheney had all these terrible, terrible powers, but under Obama, we should keep them.

02:03:54.000 You know, torture, although it sounds good on paper that we should get rid of it, I don't think we should get rid of it.

02:03:59.000 I think that it actually works.

02:04:01.000 But we're about to have a powerhouse guest on in the next segment.

02:04:06.000 It is Peter Dale Scott, who's really, he's been crossing the T's and dotting the I's for some time now as a bastion and light of truth.

02:04:16.000 And his recent article published last week, Martial Law, the Financial Bailout and War, is over at 911truth.org and it's a very extensive article.

02:04:25.000 He talks about the members of the House being threatened with martial law in case they weren't going to pass the bailout.

02:04:32.000 He talks about preparations for martial law as well as the continuity of government programs that were put into place under the Bush administration.

02:04:39.000 We will be back with Peter Dale Scott after this.
