00:00:06.000 Mainstream media.
00:00:08.000 Government cover-ups.
00:00:10.000 You want answers?
00:00:11.000 Well, so does he.
00:00:13.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.
00:00:17.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.
00:00:24.000 March 2nd, 1836, Texas Independence Day.
00:00:31.000 We have the Republican gubernatorial primary kicking off.
00:00:34.000 Today with Deborah Medina, Rick Perry, Kay Baby.
00:00:39.000 We'll watch what happens there, but Medina's strong showings already gotten national attention for other constitutionalists to run as Republicans or Democrats for that matter.
00:00:50.000 We'll be covering it coming up later in the broadcast day and opening the phones up.
00:00:58.000 Ray McGovern, former top CIA analyst to Ronald Reagan and George Bush senior, will be joining us to talk about Government-sponsored terrorism in the Middle East.
00:01:09.000 The Good Terrorist.
00:01:11.000 Terrorists that get caught blowing things up for the West, and our media calls them the Good Terrorist.
00:01:16.000 Also, serious saber-rattling going on by Israel and Iran.
00:01:21.000 Open talk of war.
00:01:23.000 John Kerry travels to Israel and tells Israel, don't attack Iran.
00:01:28.000 Mike Rivero joining us in the next hour with his once a month visit.
00:01:33.000 We'll be live at PrisonPlanet.tv for three hours today, second, third, and fourth hour.
00:01:38.000 And then Brad Martin will be joining us.
00:01:40.000 They were up in Oregon and got the police BATF visit.
00:01:48.000 They took their, not even BB guns, their airsoft.
00:01:51.000 They shoot little soft plastic pellets and the ATF has no jurisdiction, but they don't care.
00:01:57.000 That is coming up for 30 minutes later in the third hour and wide open phones, completely wide open phones in the second and fourth hour today.
00:02:07.000 Again, we'll open the phones up next hour and then again in the fourth hour to talk about whatever issues you wish.
00:02:15.000 On the economy front, jobless rate climbs 12% in the last two weeks.
00:02:22.000 Wow! 12% increase in people losing their jobs.
00:02:26.000 In the last two weeks, in real unemployment, it's around 22% according to all the private indexes that are out there.
00:02:33.000 So you add this to it, boy, that is amazing.
00:02:36.000 Also, oil gains to around $79 a barrel amid mixed U.S. data.
00:02:43.000 You have world currencies declining in tandem through a coordinated effort of the private parasitic central banks that run our globe and the New World Order.
00:02:51.000 And so, of course, you see gold surging to a six-week high, and gold futures rose today as well, pushing prices on the precious metal to the highest in six weeks as the U.S. dollar declined, increasing the appeal of gold as an alternative investment.
00:03:08.000 We told you this will be short-lived, gold going down.
00:03:11.000 It's a buying opportunity.
00:03:12.000 And they may push it down again.
00:03:14.000 But if you look at the overall trend of gold the last decade, it is up Up, up, up, up and away!
00:03:22.000 Because currencies are being debased.
00:03:25.000 It is a law of economics and currencies and commodities.
00:03:30.000 Meanwhile, in Alabama and other states, they're reporting they can't hire enough local census workers.
00:03:37.000 People don't like doing it.
00:03:38.000 Even though they need jobs.
00:03:40.000 They don't like going to people's doors and threatening to arrest them if they don't answer questions about their toilet, their stocks and bonds, their light bulbs, their firearms.
00:03:49.000 All violations of the Fifth Amendment.
00:03:52.000 The police can't make you answer questions and a census worker sure can't do it.
00:03:58.000 In fact, I may want to have a space later during Open Phones for just census workers to call in and to talk about what they think of their job.
00:04:05.000 And if they enjoy it, or people that have been harassed by census workers.
00:04:08.000 We'll see if that happens.
00:04:09.000 We have time to do that.
00:04:11.000 Medicare payment reductions worry doctors, patients.
00:04:14.000 This is out of Bay News 9. And I saw similar reports across the country.
00:04:19.000 Massive 21% reduction in Medicare and Medicaid payments.
00:04:23.000 See, they're already just slashing, even though they can't pass the health care bill, to slash.
00:04:28.000 The banks have to get all the money.
00:04:30.000 All your tax money has to go to them.
00:04:35.000 Continuing, I saw a case of censorship today.
00:04:43.000 I saw a case of censorship today dealing with an article on Blogspot dealing with Larry Silverstein.
00:04:50.000 That is coming up and a lot of other important news straight ahead.
00:04:56.000 More reports of, well, we'll cover when we come back.
00:05:00.000 This is Alex Jones with five good reasons you should consider buying a solar power generator.
00:05:04.000 Number one, new climate legislation could easily double or triple your electric bill.
00:05:08.000 Number two, our new energy czar wants to control how much power your electric company allows you to have.
00:05:14.000 It's true.
00:05:15.000 Total government control of electricity in the name of smart grid technology is coming.
00:05:20.000 In some areas of the country, the power grid is dangerously overloaded.
00:05:25.000 And now, new socialist legislation is only compounding the problem.
00:05:29.000 Dangerous weather is always a threat to local grids.
00:05:32.000 Every year, thousands of families lose their power from weather-related outages.
00:05:36.000 A solar power generator provides powerful backup, insurance, and peace of mind.
00:05:41.000 Folks, I really believe in the solar power generators offered by solutions from Hundreds of nations have fallen to tyranny in the last century alone.
00:06:06.000 This is our last chance to not relive history.
00:06:09.000 As we're finishing off this agenda We're pulling the rug from underneath Americans at home. 0.93
00:06:15.000 Tremendous influence on our president and Congress and they really are calling the shots.
00:06:20.000 I think it's incumbent upon all of us as American citizens to pay attention.
00:06:25.000 Full of the Republic identifies the enemies of our nation.
00:06:28.000 The criminal offshore cartel, hell-bent on destroying sovereignty and on its ashes constructing world government.
00:06:35.000 Tim Geithner?
00:06:36.000 Bernanke? They're arsonists! 0.90
00:06:38.000 They're asking for more matches!
00:06:39.000 And the Congress is saying, who do we make the checkout to?
00:06:42.000 Today seems like nobody does care.
00:06:44.000 And right now in Washington, D.C., we have seen a fall of the republic.
00:06:49.000 Get your copy of Fall of the Republic on DVD at Infowars.com.
00:06:54.000 Or watch it online right now in super high quality at Prison Platforms.

00:08:01.000 He's the T-Rex of political talk.
00:08:04.000 Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.
00:08:07.000 Music.
00:08:12.000 We're going to be breaking down all the different major economic indicators that show that the economy, not just of the United States, but of every western nation, is in systemic designed freefall.
00:08:27.000 Here's just one of the reports.
00:08:29.000 House Majority Leader says Greek debt crisis can happen here.
00:08:35.000 The United States must embrace a blend of tax increases and spending cuts to rein in its deficit or face a potentially crippling debt crisis like the one in Greece.
00:08:48.000 Yes, all the money must be paid to the bankers.
00:08:51.000 We must raise your taxes.
00:08:53.000 We must cut your supposed benefits.
00:08:55.000 Like a third world nation, everything has to go to the bankers.
00:08:59.000 The top U.S. lawmaker warned yesterday.
00:09:02.000 It's enough to look across the Atlantic at Greece's extreme economic crises and understand it can happen here.
00:09:11.000 If we don't change course, it will happen here, said Democratic House Majority Leader Hoyer.
00:09:18.000 Hoyer, a close White House ally, said Democrats and Republicans in the U.S. Congress must take the politically tough Decisions, yes, following their banker master's orders to deflate the ballooning U.S. deficit and tackle record high U.S. debt.
00:09:34.000 And they have all these articles in the Washington Post, the Washington Times, everywhere else that I've looked, explaining that Americans are greedy, bad people and that Americans don't like the government.
00:09:45.000 But why?
00:09:45.000 Why are they complaining?
00:09:46.000 They're getting record amounts of money.
00:09:49.000 The American people are getting more money than they are paying in taxes.
00:09:53.000 No, we're not.
00:09:54.000 The offshore banks are getting almost all of it, along with the military-industrial complex and the ballooning federal and state bureaucracies.
00:10:01.000 At every level, government's growing.
00:10:04.000 And they'll pull a few stunts like, in California, teachers have to work one day a week free, and DPS workers have to work one day a week free, and yes, we're going to shut down part of some national parks, and we're not going to fill potholes.
00:10:19.000 See? We need more taxes. 0.55
00:10:21.000 No, they need to stop giving trillions of dollars a month, a month to private offshore banks that created this scam.
00:10:32.000 But they're already positioning it.
00:10:34.000 Oh, we're going to have a depression.
00:10:36.000 We're a year and a half after the bailout.
00:10:38.000 We need more bailouts.
00:10:39.000 We need to let the bankers set up a constitution of the bankers.
00:10:43.000 Worldwide, a world government.
00:10:44.000 They've got to call the shots, but don't worry.
00:10:47.000 The bankers say they're going to fix the economy.
00:10:50.000 They've got a plan.
00:10:51.000 It's called Green Jobs.
00:10:52.000 You lose two jobs for every job it creates, and they give the money to select cronies.
00:10:57.000 It's a wonderful thing, and it'll shut down more power plants.
00:11:01.000 Put more taxes on businesses and we're going to harass all the farmers and ranchers that are barely holding on by their fingernails and this is going to be great in China and India and everybody else in the third world and first developing world. 0.99
00:11:14.000 They don't have to make any cuts but we do and then this is our plan and it's going to be great.
00:11:21.000 Meanwhile, jobless claims up 12% in the last two weeks.
00:11:25.000 CNN reports the number of Americans filing for initial unemployment insurance surged to just below the 500,000 level last week.
00:11:32.000 That's 500,000, ladies and gentlemen.
00:11:35.000 That's a month.
00:11:38.000 And have climbed more than 12% over the past two weeks, the government said Thursday.
00:11:43.000 And these are cooked numbers.
00:11:45.000 They don't count you as unemployed once you're off the unemployment rolls and have been refused after six months to a year.
00:11:50.000 And they don't count the underemployed.
00:11:53.000 There were 496,000 initial job claims filed in the week ended February 20th, up 22,000.
00:11:59.000 From a revised 474,000 the previous week.
00:12:05.000 Amazing. The Labor Department said in a weekly report the prior week there were 442,000 claims.
00:12:12.000 Excuse me, I read that wrong because last year you would see around 500 to 600,000 a month losing their jobs.
00:12:21.000 Excuse me, I misread this.
00:12:24.000 They are now losing 496,000 a week.
00:12:31.000 See, my mind tends to underestimate things.
00:12:35.000 People think I exaggerate.
00:12:36.000 Generally, when I make mistakes, my brain plays tricks on me and I underestimate it.
00:12:42.000 An article will say the bank's just got another two trillion and I'll say two billion because I just, the mind cannot process this.
00:12:50.000 So excuse me.
00:12:53.000 What is 4 times 496,000 in a month?
00:13:00.000 That is just shy of 2 million jobs.
00:13:09.000 What is that like?
00:13:10.000 1,800,000 and something thousand jobs.
00:13:15.000 1,800,000 plus jobs lost In just the last month?
00:13:29.000 1,800,000?
00:13:34.000 Oh. This is unspeakably bad.
00:13:41.000 That's got to be nudging real unemployment up to 25%?
00:13:46.000 Or close to it?
00:13:47.000 I mean, in the depths of the depression it was 30%.
00:13:51.000 I mean, this is unbelievable.
00:13:52.000 And back in 2006, we passed the Rubicon and had a higher debt ratio than even in the depths of the depression.
00:14:03.000 You like globalism?
00:14:04.000 You like NAFTA and GATT?
00:14:05.000 Well, they're saying, don't worry, we got the next phase of globalism.
00:14:09.000 It will get you out of the depression.
00:14:16.000 Oil gains to around $79 amid mixed U.S. data.
00:14:21.000 As commodities begin surging, gold reaches six-week high.
00:14:27.000 Gold futures rose on Tuesday, pushing prices on the precious metal to the highest of six weeks as the U.S. dollar declined, increasing the appeal of gold as an investment instrument.
00:14:40.000 Gold for April delivery rose $4.30 to $1,122.30 in earlier-touched $1,125.50 Continuing, to 80.607 from 80.753 in late North American trading last night.
00:15:13.000 here's just an article out of St. Petersburg, Florida.
00:15:17.000 And it mirrors what we're seeing all over the nation and all over the world for that matter.
00:15:22.000 We're all under the same group's control.
00:15:26.000 Medicare payment reductions worry doctors and patients.
00:15:30.000 March begins with a financial blow for doctors.
00:15:33.000 We're facing a major reduction in Medicare payments.
00:15:36.000 The 21% reduction is the result of what some say is an outdated reimbursement formula from the 1990s.
00:15:42.000 Over the years Congress managed to waive the deficit reduction measure, but legislatures Failed to repeal it last week so 21% cut in the payments with With funds that are absolutely Essential in Medicare and the news just continues on From there.
00:16:06.000 I just want to mention this before I run out of time because Ray McGovern's coming up here in about 15 minutes.
00:16:12.000 I Was surfing around on the internet, or internets as Bush would say, this morning.
00:16:19.000 And I tried to go over to a Blogspot article headlined, Will Larry Pullet Silverstein...
00:16:26.000 Will Mr. Larry Pullet Silverstein, did you commit insurance fraud on 9-11?
00:16:32.000 And it's a pretty good article.
00:16:35.000 But I noticed when I tried to go to the link to the Blogspot, it said, this is a message.
00:16:40.000 In fact, I sent that to you, Jaren.
00:16:42.000 Did you get the message out?
00:16:44.000 May not have been clear.
00:16:45.000 I wanted you to print the message that they put up on Blogspot first, or maybe try to go to this from an outside link.
00:16:52.000 And it says on there that Google has listed this as possibly dangerous information.
00:17:02.000 Are you sure you want to go to this?
00:17:05.000 And then you go to it, and it's an article about Larry Silverstein getting all this insurance in the World Trade Centers, and Building 7, The fact that he got a record insurance policy and a double insurance policy and how suspicious the whole thing is and how on a hundred and fifty million dollar investment he made over nine billion.
00:17:23.000 And no, no, no, you can't go to that or you better be careful when you go to that because it's so dangerous.
00:17:30.000 It's so evil.
00:17:32.000 Just another example of more and more attempts at internet censorship and intimidating people away from alternative information that are going on.
00:17:42.000 Coming up later in the broadcast, Supreme Court waives Chicago's strict gun ban.
00:17:47.000 Justice is here, Second Amendment case, right to have a gun at home.
00:17:52.000 But it says that Handgun Control Incorporated and others and the Justice Department are hopeful because they think the Supreme Court is going to rule, okay, you have a right to own firearms in Chicago and New York where they're basically banned for the general public, unless you make lucrative payments to the sheriff, who will then, in a few cases, let you have a concealed weapons permit.
00:18:11.000 Mainly Goldman Sachs employees that came out of the ones that get it.
00:18:15.000 In some cases, they pay more than $30,000 in campaign donations to get just one.
00:18:19.000 It's like buying a nice new car.
00:18:21.000 But they say, oh, the court, though, is set, probably, we're thinking, according to court watchers and experts, to rule, yes, you have an individual right, but we have a right to restrict that right.
00:18:32.000 So more Orwellian doublespeak.
00:18:35.000 And then, Last week, I saw a report out of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
00:18:42.000 The presiding Chief Justice said it was a total police state, end of the Fourth Amendment, that police can now go into your house without a warrant, without even having suspicion that a crime has been committed.
00:18:54.000 And that dovetails with a Seattle Times article today.
00:19:04.000 courage.
00:19:05.000 Curbs on border searches of cell phones, laptops of U.S. citizens.
00:19:10.000 And the L.A. Times had an article last week we covered where they mainly focus on citizens, business people, and now foreign governments are doing this as well, and sometimes they keep your laptop for six weeks or longer, your cell phone, and they take it and they download everything off of it and then say, on your way, no Fourth Amendment, no nothing, and it says here that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection says, yes, we don't need any suspicion of wrongdoing.
00:19:38.000 It says, without first establishing suspicion of wrongdoing.
00:19:43.000 And the precedence they set in airports and on the border are what they then roll out in the general public.
00:19:50.000 So, just rapidly becoming a bona fide, certified, five-star total tyranny.

00:21:08.000 You wouldn't buy gold if you believed that the government is doing a great job, that the Fed will stop handing out trillions of dollars like bailout candy, that Social Security would be there for you.
00:21:18.000 That's not what's happening.
00:21:19.000 You might even pass on gold if the stimulus package wouldn't fuel inflation, or that the dollar wouldn't lose value, or that your retirement would be secure.
00:21:27.000 If all looks rosy to you, then now is not the time to buy gold.
00:21:31.000 For the realists, there have never been more sobering reasons to diversify with gold.
00:21:35.000 Since 2001, the U.S.
00:21:37.000 dollar index has tanked 30% while gold has risen 300%.
00:21:41.000 Right now, savvy investors are adding gold to their portfolios.
00:21:44.000 You should too.
00:21:45.000 Find out what they know.
00:21:46.000 Call us and I'll send you 10 reasons why gold will do very well.
00:21:50.000 Free 800-686-2237.
00:21:53.000 800-686-2237. That's 800-686-2237.
00:22:01.000 Hundreds of nations have fallen to tyranny in the last century alone.
00:22:06.000 This is our last chance to not relive history.
00:22:09.000 As they're finishing off this agenda, they'll be pulling the rug from underneath Americans at home.
00:22:14.000 We have tremendous influence on our president and Congress, and they really are calling the shots.
00:22:20.000 I think it's incumbent upon all of us As American citizens to pay attention.
00:22:25.000 For the Republic identifies the enemies of our nation.
00:22:28.000 The criminal offshore cartel, hell-bent on destroying sovereignty and on its ashes constructing world government.
00:22:35.000 Tim Geithner, Bernanke, they're arsonists!
00:22:38.000 They're asking for more matches!
00:22:39.000 And the Congress is saying, who do we make the check out to?
00:22:42.000 Today seems like nobody does care.
00:22:44.000 And right now in Washington DC, We have seen a fall of the Republic.

00:24:07.000 Because there's a war on for your mind.
00:24:12.000 A Texas poll up on PrisonPlanet.com reports Ron Paul approval rating 84% in his district.
00:24:22.000 So much for him not representing the people.
00:24:25.000 And they've had the Republican Party running three neocons against him.
00:24:31.000 But he's set in the poll to get 74% of the vote in today's, well, in the upcoming primary contest.
00:24:41.000 And in the overall poll, he has an 84% approval rating.
00:24:49.000 Now, anti-New World Order, anti-global government, anti-private Federal Reserve, anti-any gun control laws, anti-abortion, pro-control the border, 84%.
00:25:01.000 There is no other Texas elected representative that I've ever seen with a number like that.
00:25:09.000 See, we are the majority.
00:25:11.000 We have the common sense approach.
00:25:14.000 We know what the people want.
00:25:17.000 And because Ron Paul has been able to get his message out, he has an 84% approval rating.
00:25:24.000 The government overall has a 8% approval rating.
00:25:29.000 8% versus 84%.
00:25:32.000 Meanwhile, we have Democratic and Republican leaders and Glenn Beck and others all over television saying that we must have massive tax increases to pay the bankers off or they will shut us down like Greece.
00:25:46.000 Will we continue to be held hostage by these people?
00:25:50.000 And that's what NORTHCOM and Homeland Security are publicly for, is to suppress the American people.
00:25:56.000 It's not for folks with brown skin, wearing turbans, living in caves on mountaintops. 1.00
00:26:01.000 That is used to sell you on the initial Patriot Act.
00:26:06.000 And now, Obama, Sunday night, reauthorized the U.S.A.
00:26:11.000 Patriot Act and didn't pull out any of the provisions that are used in non-terror related cases.
00:26:18.000 Bipartisan tyranny.
00:26:20.000 Bipartisan corruption.
00:26:22.000 And the naked body scanners are going in everywhere.
00:26:27.000 There's massive resistance to it, but the establishment, just like they're breaking a horse, is forcing it through.
00:26:35.000 Public schools are watching their pupils at home via government-issued laptops.
00:26:40.000 The ATF is raiding toy shops that sell legal BB guns that shoot plastic pellets.
00:26:49.000 It doesn't matter if major polls or the average person doesn't want their water fluoridated, the federal government will spend millions lobbying to get even small towns to put it in.
00:27:00.000 It is truly a sick joke.
00:27:02.000 And the list of corruption just goes on and on. 0.85
00:27:04.000 We have a government trying to force young girls to take Gardasil shots on record that hurt them and kill them in many cases.
00:27:11.000 Trying to force nurses and police to take swine flu shots and it comes out the whole thing's a fraud.
00:27:19.000 We just have to get the message out to everybody that we have a lawless, illegitimate government.
00:27:24.000 And if we don't say no, it's just going to get worse.
00:27:26.000 And before the break, I was getting into this article out of the Seattle Times today.
00:27:30.000 No curbs on border searches of cell phones, laptops.
00:27:36.000 In the last year and a half, civil liberties groups and business Travel leaders have complained about U.S. border agents' broad authority to search and seize laptops.
00:27:44.000 Well, the TSA does it, too.
00:27:46.000 And other electronic gadgets carried by travelers.
00:27:50.000 iPhones, cell phones, laptops, home pilots, and they just download it.
00:27:57.000 The material.
00:27:58.000 They just seize it.
00:27:58.000 Say, good day, goodbye.
00:28:01.000 But new information details the extent to which this has happened.
00:28:06.000 Debate over the searches picked up steam in July of 2008 when the federal officials, not servants, officials issued a policy directive that makes clear that agents at airports and borders can look into your electronic devices without first establishing suspicion of wrongdoing.
00:28:21.000 In 2006 at Bilderberg in Ottawa, they grabbed our three laptops and downloaded their full contents and kept us for 15 hours screaming at us.
00:28:30.000 In a recent nine-month period, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Searched and seized 1,644 devices.
00:28:39.000 And that's just when they filled out paperwork on it.
00:28:40.000 It's much worse than that.
00:28:42.000 In a recent nine-month period, U.S. Customs and Border Agents searched and seized 1,644 devices from travelers entering and leaving the United States, according to data the American Civil Liberties Union obtained through a lawsuit.
00:28:55.000 The most common target?
00:28:56.000 Cell phones!
00:28:57.000 Of those searched or seized, Devices, 582 were cell phones, 398 were laptop computers, and 259 were digital cameras.
00:29:07.000 The rest included MP3 players, flash drives, hard dives, DVDs, and other devices.
00:29:12.000 Let me read this to you again.
00:29:16.000 They take your electronic devices without first establishing suspicion of wrongdoing.
00:29:25.000 No Fourth Amendment in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
00:29:30.000 Last week, it's now a week and a half ago, ruled that police don't need warrants to come in your house and need no suspicion.
00:29:42.000 And all over the country, from Boston to Chicago to Dallas, they're doing knock and talk, demanding to come in and look at your guns without warrants.
00:29:51.000 We're on the march.
00:29:52.000 The Empire's on the run.

00:35:00.000 And it's never been easier to wake somebody up by having them tune into the radio show.
00:35:04.000 OK, for the next 25 minutes, we're joined by Ray McGovern.
00:35:08.000 Really doesn't need much of an introduction here.
00:35:10.000 He's a retired CIA officer, political activist, who writes and lectures all over the country.
00:35:15.000 He's also an author and researcher, writes articles for Counterpunch and many other great publications.
00:35:21.000 He is co-founder of Veterans Intelligence Professionals for Sanity.
00:35:25.000 Of course, he famously grilled and shut down Rumsfeld when he was lying, saying he never said WMDs were in Iraq.
00:35:34.000 And of course, Ray McGovern Also has been exposing a lot of the things that the government's been doing, some of the staged crises that they use to expand wars and tyranny.
00:35:47.000 And I wanted to get him on on a host of issues today.
00:35:50.000 Ray, good to have you back with us.
00:35:52.000 Thank you, Alex.
00:35:52.000 Good to be with you.
00:35:54.000 So much is going on, but out of the gates before we get into terrorists working for our government, staging attacks overseas, open discussions of Uh, assassinating U.S. citizens abroad.
00:36:05.000 Uh, Barack Obama, you'd been hopeful that there would be a shift away from the neocons.
00:36:11.000 Now we hear continued talk of new wars, expanded wars, uh, continuing torture.
00:36:16.000 He reauthorized the Patriot Act.
00:36:18.000 Uh, who is Barack Obama?
00:36:20.000 Are you disappointed?
00:36:21.000 who's really running the White House?
00:36:23.000 That's a good question.
00:36:24.000 Who is Barack Obama?
00:36:26.000 I did have some expectations which have been dashed.
00:36:33.000 I'd home in on the Middle East right into the Israeli-Arab dispute, the conflict there.
00:36:40.000 He offered some hope that he would take a more realistic view.
00:36:43.000 As a matter of fact, major speech.
00:36:45.000 He said, Israel, no more settlements on the occupied territories.
00:36:49.000 No ifs, sins, or buts.
00:36:51.000 No more settlements.
00:36:52.000 And Netanyahu took his thumb and his other fingers and, you know, thumbed his nose at Barack Obama and said, oh, yeah, by the way, we've stopped working on this little part of East Jerusalem, but now we're...
00:37:08.000 We're going to do a new settlement on this hill or that hill.
00:37:11.000 So, for Barack Obama, after a year in office, to tell, I guess it was a Time reporter, in this plaintive tone, gee, you know, I didn't think that the Arab-Israeli thing was so intractable.
00:37:29.000 They both are so stubborn.
00:37:32.000 It's as though he has no leverage, you know?
00:37:35.000 $3 billion a year from your tax money and mine that they give to Israel every year.
00:37:42.000 That doesn't give any leverage.
00:37:43.000 Give me a break.
00:37:45.000 So my major fear right now, Alex, is that Netanyahu has to look on this Obama character as a real wuss, you know, a real captive of the Israel lobby in this country.
00:37:59.000 And so what's to prevent Netanyahu from starting a war with Iran with the full expectation that Congress will, We'll vote, as it usually does, 492 to 3 in favor of, you know, defending our, quote, ally, and I use quotation marks because an ally is a country with which another country has a defense agreement.
00:38:25.000 And there is no mutual defense agreement between Israel and the United States.
00:38:30.000 And that's more than just a technicality that does not oblige us to go to war.
00:38:37.000 Well, Ray McGovern, you were one of the chief analysts in the morning briefer for Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr.
00:38:44.000 I mean, if you were there sitting in front of the president today, i.e.
00:38:47.000 the American people you're speaking to right now, what's the word with all your intelligence sources and also just analyzing the full spectrum?
00:38:55.000 We see Ahmadinejad saying they plan, Israel plans to attack in the spring or summer.
00:39:01.000 We see the communist Chinese saying, you know, they're basically girding for conflict.
00:39:06.000 With the United States, we see Russia now becoming more and more angry at what the West is doing.
00:39:17.000 We see John Kerry dispatched to Israel in a speech to say, look, don't attack.
00:39:23.000 Let us just do crippling sanctions.
00:39:27.000 What are the chances they are going to launch a war?
00:39:29.000 What will it look like?
00:39:31.000 Are we in real danger right now?
00:39:33.000 It all depends, in my view, Alex, on how Anishinaabh and his cohorts there in Tel Aviv view Obama.
00:39:42.000 The incredible traveling back and forth between Washington and Tel Aviv, you have the CIA head, you have the National Security Advisor, you have the Defense Secretary, you have the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
00:40:00.000 You know, it never stops.
00:40:02.000 Biden is either there or going there this Something's being planned.
00:40:06.000 Well, you know, it seems to me that what's happening is what happened a year and a half ago when Admiral Mullen, just named Joint Chief of Staff Chairman, went to Israel and he said, look, we don't want a war with Iran.
00:40:23.000 So stop listening to Elliott Abrams and Dick Keeney.
00:40:27.000 I'm the head of the U.S.
00:40:28.000 Armed Forces, and I don't want you to provoke war.
00:40:32.000 Now, listen to me.
00:40:33.000 Listen to me.
00:40:33.000 I'm a naval officer.
00:40:34.000 Okay? I know what happened on June 8th, 1967, when you tried to sink one of our ships, okay?
00:40:41.000 That's not going to happen again, so don't even think of it!
00:40:44.000 Now, that was amazing, Alex, because that was the first time any senior statesman, any senior military officer ever raised the USS Liberty incident with the Israelis.
00:40:55.000 He read of the Riot Act, and it worked at a time when Cheney and Bush were And the other thing that helps, of course, in those days was the sensible U.S. intelligence estimate that said, and most people forget this, the estimate said, yeah, Iran had been working on the weapons part of a nuclear program up until the fall of 2003 and then they stopped.
00:41:24.000 And we say that with great confidence.
00:41:29.000 Now, whether they've resumed between 2003 and 2007 when the estimate came out, Well, Ray, I saw that in the paper when it happened, and I don't want to just glaze over it.
00:41:47.000 That's an important point you raised a few minutes ago that I'd really kind of forgotten about.
00:41:51.000 It had gone in the memory hole.
00:41:53.000 That Admiral Mullen, and I saw it in the Jerusalem Post, said, don't stage an event like the USS Liberty.
00:42:00.000 I mean, that was an amazing statement by a top military officer of don't launch a false flag.
00:42:06.000 And I remember you almost four years ago on this show saying, I think Cheney will try to stage a Gulf of Tonkin near the Strait of Hormuz.
00:42:15.000 And then a year and a half later, it came out that right around that time, Cy Hirsch reported at MSNBC, it was confirmed, wanted to have US Navy SEALs attack US destroyers.
00:42:26.000 As a staged provocation.
00:42:27.000 Looks like they only did the fake radio transmission, but that wasn't enough, and the Admiralty, as it goes, didn't bite, and Fox Fallon didn't bite on it.
00:42:39.000 So flesh that out for people in layman's terms, what it means to have a top military officer go to the Israelis and say, look, don't stage an event.
00:42:48.000 Well, it's good that you pointed out Cy Hirsch's reporting, because he also reported that Dick Cheney had proposed, and I don't know how far this got, but proposed painting PT boats or these swift boats with Iranian colors and having them dropped off by the Israelis in the Persian Gulf and created an incident that way.
00:43:11.000 So all this is very real, and the distinction I would make between what Mullen did a year and a half ago and what he did just last, well, two weeks ago is this.
00:43:24.000 Now he's sounding like, please, please don't start an attack.
00:43:28.000 It wouldn't be good.
00:43:32.000 An attack is on the table.
00:43:33.000 Never mind, Alex, that it's, you know, a war crime to attack a country that hasn't attacked you or has no capability of attacking you.
00:43:40.000 It's still on the table, but please, pretty please, you know, it would really be nice.
00:43:46.000 So the tone has changed.
00:43:48.000 It's not a kind of a forward look.
00:43:50.000 We know what you're up to.
00:43:52.000 Don't even think of it.
00:43:53.000 Now it's, we know what you're up to, but please, please, this would really create quite a mess.
00:43:59.000 And so that disconcerts me.
00:44:01.000 I mean, that really worries me because, you know, Mullen has been pretty...
00:44:05.000 when he had Fallon out there also, then, you know, things were pretty hard-nosed.
00:44:11.000 The military does not want to get involved in a war with Iran because they know it would be a catastrophe.
00:44:17.000 At the end of this article I wrote, you know, I compared Iraq and Afghanistan.
00:44:23.000 You know, in light of a war with Iran, well, Iran would make So what's the word in Washington with all your sources?
00:44:43.000 I mean, clearly they're trying to sell a war.
00:44:46.000 We see it all over the newspapers.
00:44:47.000 It's being pushed.
00:44:49.000 I mean, what are the chances, statistically, or dead reckoning, that they are going to launch an attack?
00:44:55.000 What will that attack look like, and what will the aftermath be?
00:44:58.000 Well, I would not exclude the Israelis doing what they did on the 9th of June, 1967, the day after the attack on the USS Liberty. 0.98
00:45:13.000 That's when they went up on the Golan and took the Golan Heights from Syria. 0.92
00:45:17.000 And why do I compare that to these days?
00:45:19.000 Well, the U.S.
00:45:21.000 ambassador, the people in Washington, all over the Israeli leaders say, no, no, okay, all right, you took the side, you took off.
00:45:28.000 Please, please, don't go up on the Golan.
00:45:32.000 That would get you involved in the war.
00:45:34.000 Don't do that, okay?
00:45:36.000 And, of course, they had a great intention of doing that.
00:45:39.000 And one of the reasons, I believe, that they tried to sink the Liberty, it's because the Liberty was in a position to intercept communications, without which the Israelis couldn't do Golan, okay? 0.82
00:45:50.000 So they were sure the U.S.
00:45:52.000 was going to find out about it.
00:45:53.000 And, therefore, they would nip it in the bud there by taking a ship.
00:45:58.000 In any case, the situation is very similar now, because there's no guarantee that the Israelis won't go ahead with the full expectation that a lopsided vote in Congress and in the administration.
00:46:10.000 I mean, look who's running the place. 0.80
00:46:12.000 It's Rahm Emanuel.
00:46:13.000 Now, to his credit, you know, he's a very patriotic guy.
00:46:18.000 And you know, when the balloon went up in the first Gulf War, he immediately rejoined the army.
00:46:23.000 Most people don't realize that it was the Israeli army that he joined.
00:46:27.000 And for all I know, he's still a reservist in the Israeli army, probably in intelligence.
00:46:34.000 Now, he's running the White House.
00:46:36.000 Give me a break! 1.00
00:46:37.000 So we have a bunch of people who, as I said before, have great difficulty distinguishing between what they believe to be the strategic necessities of Absolutely, passionate attachments of one country to the perceived needs of another.
00:47:05.000 Absolutely.
00:47:07.000 when he was of course first president.
00:47:09.000 They burned effigies of him all over the country.
00:47:11.000 The French tried to foment a rebellion in the U.S. because he would not authorize a new war against the British.
00:47:17.000 He said, no, we want our independence and our freedoms, not to be in an imperial alliance with the French.
00:47:25.000 And these entangling alliances are not what we need to do.
00:47:28.000 And that's what built America.
00:47:30.000 But what's wrong with Israel?
00:47:31.000 I mean, I'm no geopolitical wizard, but I can look at the pieces.
00:47:36.000 It really isn't in Israel's They know Iran doesn't have nukes.
00:47:40.000 Iran even tried to buy the uranium for the power plants from France a few months ago, which proves it wasn't to be used in weapons.
00:47:51.000 Why does Israel want to attack Iran?
00:47:54.000 It's the last bastion of support for people who, in Israel's eyes, endanger the state of Israel. 0.55
00:48:07.000 It is true that Iran affords a lot of help to Hamas and Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
00:48:18.000 Now, these have been branded terrorist organizations by the U.S., but they're mostly so popular because they help the common people, the poor people, and they do have terrorist wings.
00:48:31.000 Now, these terrorists can wreak havoc on Israel, and that's why Israel is doing all this preemptive stuff, including killing 14,000 Gaza, mostly civilians, at the turn of a year ago.
00:48:46.000 So Israelis would like to take advantage of the opportunity to raise this, what shall we call it, this pretext of Iran becoming close to a nuclear weapon, to do in the regime there, and to make Iran the kind of basket case that they succeeded in getting the Bush administration to make Iraq, 0.60
00:49:11.000 And we've seen a lot of different breakdowns by analysts of what will happen if Iran is attacked.
00:49:18.000 All of the scenarios are bad, but they go from bad to worse.
00:49:21.000 Briefly, what will happen if Iran is bombarded?
00:49:24.000 One of the things they'll do, and this will hurt most Americans, is mine the Straits of Hormuz. 0.69
00:49:30.000 And, you know, through that strait, the Straits of Hormuz, go, I think, 40 percent of the exported oil to the rest of the world.
00:49:40.000 So you talk about Japan, China, talk about some really interesting and powerful countries that will be affected by this, not to mention U.S.
00:49:48.000 people at the gas pump.
00:49:51.000 Admiral Mullen was asked two and a half years ago, well, couldn't the Iranians blockade the strait there?
00:49:59.000 And he swore it hard, and he said, yeah, they could.
00:50:01.000 But we could take it back within three days, probably.
00:50:06.000 Well, right.
00:50:08.000 How are you going to take it back, Admiral Mullen?
00:50:10.000 You're going to send the Marines to scale those cliffs?
00:50:13.000 Where are you going to get the Marines from, Admiral Mullen?
00:50:17.000 You're going to take them out of Afghanistan? 1.00
00:50:18.000 There aren't any Marines to send them.
00:50:21.000 And the Iranians aren't the Iraqis. 0.97
00:50:24.000 I mean, they really are going to have focused, sustained counterattacks.
00:50:28.000 And from what I've read, all they've got to do is not mine it.
00:50:30.000 They'll sink a bunch of ships there, and you're not going to get that out in a month.
00:50:34.000 Sure, they could do that.
00:50:35.000 You know, they have all these little boats with rocket launchers on them, and they have coastal defense things that won't quit.
00:50:43.000 These big U.S.
00:50:44.000 ships in the Persian Gulf are sitting ducks, frankly.
00:50:46.000 They're not, if I were the head of the Navy, I'd get them the heck out of there and not make What is it?
00:50:55.000 13,000 sunburned missiles that can hit all our ships?
00:50:58.000 We'll be right back with Ray McGovern.

00:51:40.000 This capitalism?
00:51:40.000 Or was Jefferson correct when stating a central bank issuing the public currency is a greater menace to the liberties of the people than a standing army?

00:52:09.000 As we're finishing off this agenda...
00:52:15.000 I have tremendous influence on our President and Congress, and they really are calling the shots.
00:52:20.000 I think it's incumbent upon all of us as American citizens to pay attention.
00:52:26.000 For the Republic identifies the enemies of our nation, the criminal offshore cartel, hell-bent on destroying sovereignty and on its ashes constructing world government.
00:52:36.000 Tim Geithner, Bernanke, they're arsonists!
00:52:38.000 They're asking for more matches!
00:52:40.000 And the Congress is saying, Who do we make the check out to?
00:52:42.000 Today seems like nobody does care.

00:54:07.000 We'll do the rest of the hour live at PrisonPlanet.TV with Mike Rivero.
00:54:15.000 Ladies and gentlemen, I've seen all these big statements out of the State Department and many others that this is one of the most critical times in world history in the last 200 years.
00:54:26.000 Henry Kissinger has said that.
00:54:28.000 Everything is coming together like a perfect storm, like we saw in the lead-up to World War I and World War II.
00:54:34.000 The world economy is plunging.
00:54:36.000 The banks are looting.
00:54:38.000 They need a political distraction like a war.
00:54:41.000 Israel wants a war. 0.96
00:54:43.000 You have all that coming together in a perfect storm.
00:54:46.000 How do we avert this?
00:54:47.000 We were finishing up with Ray McGovern on the subject of what Iran would do.
00:54:51.000 Certainly, Ray, they wouldn't stop just with closing the Strait of Hormuz, would they?
00:54:57.000 No, I think that I think?
00:55:09.000 could do the same in Afghanistan.
00:55:11.000 They could shoot a couple rockets into Israel, and some people believe that they could destroy the Israeli weapons reactor in Dimona.
00:55:21.000 So, you know, the Israelis can't be really clear about what would happen unless they enlist the U.S. 0.72
00:55:28.000 to be at the ready if and when they decide to attack.
00:55:33.000 I think that a lot of their concern, though, even the Israeli concern, is kind of like a synthetic one, it's manufactured concern.
00:55:42.000 They're whipping up this hysteria, even though the Iranians' poor souls are having all kinds of trouble trying to enrich their uranium, even to work in a nuclear reactor for electricity.
00:55:53.000 They're whipping up this hysteria because it's something that the U.S. citizens can be sold on, just like before Iraq. 0.83
00:56:00.000 Now, one of the things that's really curious is, here's Hillary Clinton, our Secretary of State, out there in Doha, out there at the That's good.
00:56:26.000 you know, how is it a threat?
00:56:28.000 Well, if it got one nuclear weapon, you know, it would be a real threat to, an existential threat to Israel, which only has between 200 and 300 deliverable by rocket, by under the sea, by naval aircraft, you know, you name it, deliverable in all kinds of ways.
00:56:50.000 So it's a real stretch, you know, despite The, you know, the paranoia, or the...
00:56:57.000 Meanwhile, Pakistan's got quite a few nukes and medium-range delivery systems. 0.99
00:57:01.000 Yeah. Well, even, you know, my friend Robert Gates, who was nominated to be Defense Secretary right there in 2004, I guess, well, 2006, right after the terrible election for the Republicans.
00:57:19.000 You know, when he was asked by one of the Why would, tell me, just tell me, why would Iran want to have a nuclear weapon?
00:57:37.000 And Gates, I guess, thinking more as an analyst rather than a politician, he says, well, look at the map.
00:57:44.000 They're surrounded by countries that have nuclear weapons.
00:57:48.000 There's Pakistan, there's Russia, there's Israel.
00:57:53.000 Turkey? And Turkey, and well, Turkey doesn't have a nuclear weapon.
00:57:57.000 we've got news there young yeah but and then in the Persian Gulf at the US this surrounded Pakistan Russia And of course, that's a sensible, 1.00
00:58:20.000 sensible... Now, what happens to North Korea?
00:58:32.000 They have a bomb.
00:58:33.000 Nothing. What happens to Iraq? 0.76
00:58:35.000 They all have a bomb.
00:58:36.000 They get a bomb, they're safe.
00:58:38.000 Stay there.

01:00:00.000 Music. Music.
01:00:04.000 Big Brother.

01:00:08.000 Government cover-ups.
01:00:10.000 You want answers?
01:00:11.000 Well, so does he.
01:00:13.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.
01:00:17.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.
01:00:22.000 So we have the son of one of the top Irgun terrorists that blew up British military bases and villages of Arabs in Palestine and Israel.
01:00:33.000 He's basically in there running the White House as an open Israeli officer. 0.79
01:00:38.000 He's there advising Obama.
01:00:41.000 I was talking to Ray about chances of them attacking Iran.
01:00:45.000 I mean, I'll ask him that on air, but if you were there talking to Obama, if you could have an hour with Obama, What would be the first thing you said to him, Ray McGovern?
01:00:55.000 Well, you know, this kind of thing is not impossible.
01:00:59.000 Let me go back a couple years and tell you that I met Senator John Warner, my distinguished senator from Virginia, at a concert, okay?
01:01:08.000 He was walking alone outside, and I said to my wife, oh, this is a great chance.
01:01:12.000 I went out there and introduced myself as the fellow that gave up my seat at the Bolshoi Ballet when he came to sign agreements on disarmament back in 1972.
01:01:23.000 And he said, oh, you're the one.
01:01:25.000 So we had a little camaraderie there.
01:01:27.000 And as we walked back into the crowd there, he's hanging onto my arm.
01:01:33.000 And I said, you know, Senator Warner, you really ought to look into why they hate us, why they really hate us.
01:01:39.000 And he turned to me and said, oh, why is that?
01:01:42.000 And I said, because they identify us specifically and exclusively with the state of Israel and the kinds of oppression that Israel is doing in the Middle East. 0.76
01:01:51.000 Now, his grip on my arm, Alex, was like a vice.
01:01:57.000 He cut off the circulation.
01:01:58.000 And he said, whoa, I don't know what we can do about that.
01:02:04.000 And I looked at him and I said, holy Moses, here's a guy, last term in the Senate, he'd been around a long time.
01:02:12.000 And he panics.
01:02:14.000 He grabs my, cuts off the blood circulation in my left arm and says, oh, I don't know if we can do anything about that.
01:02:20.000 And there it is.
01:02:20.000 So what I would do to Obama is grab his arm and say, look, Barack, you're surrounded by people who don't have the interests of the United States primary in mind.
01:02:31.000 This Iran thing is a cockamamie way to do the kind of regime change that Bush and Cheney did in Iraq. 0.98
01:02:40.000 Face up to Obama or else just go away because you're a terrible disappointment the way you cave in to all these crooks. 0.98
01:02:48.000 That's what I'd say to Obama. 0.96
01:02:53.000 I've seen a lot of top analysts saying this could trigger a World War III type of scenario, or bare minimum, a wider conflict.
01:03:01.000 And there's a lot of other regimes around the world that, on both sides, or on different sides, on their own side, who may take an attack on Iran, knowing we're totally overextended, as a chance to start new wars and take over other areas.
01:03:15.000 Well, not only that, but the Iranians have the kind of terrorist system that, you know, makes al-Qaeda look like a grammar school. 1.00
01:03:21.000 They can cause all kinds of troubles here in this country as well.
01:03:25.000 So, you know, it's really necessary for this word to get out.
01:03:30.000 And what I call the fawning corporate media, Alex, the mass media in this country, TV, radio, owned by the kinds of corporations that are profiting from wars, such as we have in Iraq and Afghanistan and, God forbid, Iran, they don't know which end is up.
01:03:49.000 They don't care about U.S. 0.86
01:03:50.000 soldiers perishing in these wars.
01:03:52.000 All they care about is to disguise the real roots of these wars.
01:03:58.000 And one thing, I'll just add to this calculus.
01:04:01.000 Today, there's a Washington Post panegyric, you know, a very laudatory exposition on Rahm Emanuel.
01:04:10.000 The reason that Barack Obama is pondering is because he hasn't heeded Rahm Emanuel's advice.
01:04:16.000 That's the whole point of this thing, written by one of their neocon writers, okay? 0.84
01:04:22.000 In the midst of this thing, it turns out that Rahm Emanuel was first and foremost among those that said, you can't try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in a civilian court.
01:04:33.000 Now, he wants him tried in a military court.
01:04:36.000 Why is that?
01:04:37.000 Well, you know why that is?
01:04:38.000 Because Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, when he was asked, when he was first apprehended, why he did what he did in masterminding 9-11, he said, because of my extreme hatred for U.S. politics. 0.81
01:04:50.000 policy favoring Israel.
01:04:51.000 That's going to come out in a civilian court, Rahm Emanuel and the other deocons.
01:04:56.000 Stay there! 0.92
01:04:57.000 Let's talk about your article, The Good Terrorist.

01:07:06.000 This is our last chance to not relive history.
01:07:09.000 As we're finishing off this agenda...
01:07:11.000 They'll be pulling the rug from underneath Americans at home. 0.99
01:07:15.000 We have tremendous influence on our President and Congress, and they really are calling the shots.
01:07:21.000 I think it's incumbent upon all of us as American citizens to pay attention.
01:07:26.000 For the Republic identifies the enemies of our nation.
01:07:29.000 The criminal offshore cartel, hell-bent on destroying sovereignty and on its ashes constructing world government.
01:07:36.000 Tim Geithner, Bernanke, they're arsonists!
01:07:38.000 They're asking for more matches!
01:07:40.000 And the Congress is saying, Who do we make the check out to?
01:07:42.000 Today, it seems like nobody does care.
01:07:44.000 And right now in Washington, D.C., we have seen a fall of the Republic.

01:08:06.000 Big Brother.
01:08:07.000 Mainstream media.
01:08:09.000 Government cover-ups.
01:08:11.000 You want answers?
01:08:12.000 Well, so does he.
01:08:14.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.
01:08:18.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.
01:08:23.000 All right, we've got two hours and 52 minutes left in this four-hour radio broadcast.
01:08:28.000 It is Texas Independence Day, March 2nd, Tuesday.
01:08:35.000 We've got about six minutes left with Ray McGovern, former top CIA analyst, multiple presidents, With the balance of the hour into the next, we're going to have the once-a-month visit with Mike Rivero.
01:08:46.000 I'm Alex Jones.
01:08:48.000 We're going to be getting into the economy, the police state, and a lot more.
01:08:52.000 The attack on the internet that's taking place, the transformation of our republic into a first-rate banana republic.
01:08:59.000 But going back to Ray McGovern here.
01:09:04.000 Ray, shifting gears just into the policies That our nation has really now openly adopted.
01:09:13.000 What, three years ago, four years ago, Bush put out a press release from the White House saying, oh, we're funding these four patriot groups inside Iran, three of them tied to Al-Qaeda, one of them commanded by the number three in Al-Qaeda.
01:09:26.000 And I remember years ago, you talk about the Golden Mosque in Iraq being bombed by Western forces to get the Sunnis and Shiites killing each other. 1.00
01:09:34.000 That later came out that that was the case.
01:09:36.000 I mean, this is standard operating procedure.
01:09:39.000 And he wrote an article titled, A Good Terrorist Captured by Iran for Counterpunch, break down the type of covert operations, the black ops, the false flags that are being launched against Iran.
01:09:55.000 Because from all this evidence and the White House admitting it and Obama continuing it, Iran has been incredibly restrained in putting up with this and not responding.
01:10:06.000 Well, they had a big piece of luck because they had captured one of the good terrorists.
01:10:11.000 Now, as is well known, there are good terrorists and there are bad terrorists.
01:10:16.000 The bad ones are the bad guys.
01:10:17.000 The good ones are the ones that we fund to the tune of $400 million.
01:10:22.000 Can you imagine?
01:10:23.000 $400 million for covert operation.
01:10:26.000 You can do a lot of stuff with $400 million.
01:10:29.000 And one of the terrorist organizations that seems to be acquiring some of this largest, our tax money, is a violent organization called Jurdala.
01:10:41.000 Now, people have to realize that almost half the population in Iran is minority.
01:10:47.000 You have the Azeris, you have the Balukis, you have the Kurds. 0.99
01:10:51.000 Only about 51% are actually Persians.
01:10:54.000 So there's a fertile field for causing trouble and putting the regime off balance.
01:10:59.000 Well, they caught this one fellow, and his claim to fame was running this Zurdala, which is not only harassing everyone that can, not only tried to assassinate Ahmadinejad, but also can be used in this manner. 0.81
01:11:16.000 On October 1st last year, there was a breakthrough agreement that shocked everyone.
01:11:23.000 For the first time, a high-level negotiator, that is, it was the undersecretary of state, was sent to talk with the Iranians, together with the Europeans, about the Iranian nuclear problem. And the proposal was, hey...
01:11:42.000 Why don't you send 75% of your low-enriched uranium to Russia and to France, and we'll turn it into the fuel you need for your small reactor that produces medical isotopes.
01:11:53.000 And guess what the Iranians said? 0.92
01:11:55.000 Okay, that sounds like a good idea.
01:11:57.000 What a shock!
01:11:59.000 Even the New York Times acknowledged that if this happens, that would represent a major accomplishment, reducing Iran's ability to make a nuclear weapon quickly and buying more time for negotiations.
01:12:10.000 Okay, well.
01:12:11.000 That looked really good.
01:12:12.000 Guess what happened?
01:12:13.000 Jandala rose to the occasion, and two and a half weeks later, namely on October 18, 2009, mounted a guerrilla operation that killed the deputy commander of the Revolutionary Guard's ground forces, another brigadier general who commanded that part of Iran, three other brigade commanders, and dozens of other military officers and civilians.
01:12:36.000 Cundalla took proud credit for that.
01:12:39.000 Now, the next day was the resumption of negotiations in Vienna this time to follow up on the breakthrough agreement.
01:12:48.000 And you could see what happened.
01:12:52.000 The Revolutionary Guards went to their patron, who was the supreme leader, Khamenei, and said, "You're going to trust the West?
01:12:59.000 After what they've done just now, you're going to trust them by putting 75% of your uranium into Russian and French hands? 0.96
01:13:08.000 Give me a break! 1.00
01:13:09.000 And so the deal fell through.
01:13:12.000 Now, was that a terrible disappointment to Hillary Clinton, the rest of them?
01:13:16.000 Not at all.
01:13:17.000 They wanted the deal to fail.
01:13:18.000 They're not concerned about the nuclear potential of Iran.
01:13:24.000 What they want is regime change.
01:13:26.000 And were these deals have gone through, Ahmadinejad and the rest of them would have been in a stronger position than the one they are now. 0.85
01:13:33.000 So, you know, this is so hypocritical and, you know, so, I mean, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize what's going on there. 0.80
01:13:42.000 They want regime change. 0.90
01:13:44.000 They don't care much about the nuclear thing or else they would have taken the Iranians, you know, on their agreement and principle to go through with it. 0.64
01:13:56.000 Now, the rest of the story is the Iranians have come up with several other very constructive suggestions.
01:14:00.000 They've all been turned down by, guess who?
01:14:03.000 I think so.
01:14:38.000 Well, we also, what, six months ago they said secret nuclear plant found in Iran.
