01:11:35.000 I want the Bloomberg or Businessweek.

01:11:37.000 I want to show people that one.

01:11:38.000 This is basically the same article.

01:11:40.000 I mean, here's a link to the Bloomberg News.

01:11:41.000 I wanted to read the actual quotes where they're ordering, with this color of law, kind of like they ordered the banks to take the bailout, wink, wink, to invest public and private pension funds, quote, in failed banks.

01:11:52.000 Cameron Austin-Fence, what is all that about?

01:11:55.000 Well, we have seen the pension funds over the last 10 to 20 years come under significant pressure to invest in a variety of things which have left the pension funds in real trouble.

01:12:08.000 So we have the pension funds.

01:12:10.000 The pension funds, the American pension funds, were the key vehicle used to finance the housing bubble and have gotten, you know, left holding the bag.

01:12:19.000 And so it is incredibly important, Alex, that pension funds have the legal protection and authority to finance, you know, what is the right thing to do.

01:12:31.000 And if there's...

01:12:33.000 The one reform that needs to happen is a real investigation of why do the pension funds keep doing, you know, the scams and how do you stop that?

01:12:43.000 Because it's left, you know, we now have state and local governments and companies having to come up with new big pension fund payments because there's been too much political interference.

01:12:55.000 I described, you've heard me tell the story where the president of the largest pension fund in the country, CalPERS, He said to me in 1997 when I was trying to interest him in refinancing American communities.

01:13:06.000 He said, it's too late.

01:13:07.000 You don't understand.

01:13:08.000 They've given up on the country.

01:13:09.000 They're moving all the money out starting in the fall.

01:13:12.000 And my question is, who's they?

01:13:15.000 And how can they order you as a pension fund board to just do things with your money?

01:13:22.000 And the reality is, if CalPERS had invested in the fundamental infrastructure I don't Right.

01:13:47.000 trying to stop it on record even at the time so to be clear, we have the head NASA climatologist, we have the UN we have all these world leaders, Bill Gates saying they want to destroy industrial society so they get you in debt get your local governments Right. Right.

01:14:06.000 They move it all offshore, then the country implodes, and then they come in with even more debt, then they take over healthcare, then they run your life.

01:14:14.000 Go ahead.

01:14:15.000 Right, so then they say your pension funds have lost all this money.

01:14:17.000 Now, what's the FDIC up to?

01:14:20.000 The last person who should be telling the pension funds what they should invest in is the FDIC.

01:14:25.000 Now, I say that, and Alex, what you need to know is, you know, the patterns appear that lots of small banks are being targeted.

01:14:33.000 in a way that's ending up providing subsidy to the people who pick them up.

01:14:38.000 In other words, we have a double standard in enforcement by the banking regulators, so the big banks who've been doing all the improper things get bailed out, and the small banks who've been well-managed are getting targeted and taken over in a way that subsidizes the big banks.

01:14:55.000 So you have to be careful behind here, you know, that we don't see the FDIC driving the small banks into pension funds.

01:15:02.000 In a way that is part of an economic warfare game.

01:15:05.000 And my fear is, you know, the next thing you know, you see state and local government pension funds financing someone like Soros.

01:15:12.000 Or the big hedge fund operators picking up these small banks for cheap.

01:15:17.000 Absolutely. So that's why I brought this article up first.

01:15:20.000 And I want you to spend some more time on this before we get into some other related issues.

01:15:25.000 Because here they are in Businessweek, in Bloomberg, saying And Obama's people are now out there pushing this that, oh, we're going to just take your pension funds wholesale to protect them.

01:15:39.000 And then, of course, they'll invest those in derivatives again.

01:15:42.000 Then they'll take a large portion of it down the road, get people more dependent on government. 0.50

01:15:46.000 Well, we didn't take most of it, but, you know, you've got to stick with us or you won't get any of it.

01:15:51.000 It's this.

01:15:55.000 Should capital be allocated according to, one, the preferences of the people who are either responsible, own it, or control it?

01:16:02.000 Two, according to economic performance, i.e., you know, what's the best investment?

01:16:07.000 Or, three, should it be channeled according to government dictates to a few small investors that allow them to control and own everything?

01:16:18.000 Well, let me stop you again.

01:16:19.000 Exactly. It sounds good that In the banking bill, the government is now officially in the banking business.

01:16:28.000 Slipped into it was a student loan legislation where the government will now be the person loaning, but really it'll be the government directing you to specific top three or four banks.

01:16:41.000 So this is a vertical integration, and I want to be clear here for new listeners.

01:16:45.000 The government controls the regulators.

01:16:48.000 They can arrest or set up or shut down or sanction Well, it's the Soviet Union. 0.88

01:17:15.000 But here's what you've got.

01:17:17.000 Let's say your neighbor, Alex, is an insider, and you are an outsider.

01:17:23.000 And your insider neighborhood plays ball with the government, and the government says, You know something? You can finance your car for 0%, which is what hedge fund operators have been doing.

01:17:34.000 They've been on the carry trade.

01:17:36.000 They've been borrowing for 0% to 1%.

01:17:38.000 And your neighbor can finance his car with 0% financing.

01:17:42.000 He can finance his mortgage with 0% financing.

01:17:45.000 And we're going to provide equity financing to his business for 2%.

01:17:52.000 Meantime, you have to pay 5% for your car financing, 6% for your mortgage financing, and by the way, you can't get equity How long is it going to take before your neighbor has a much bigger car, a much bigger house, and has bought your business, you know, that went bankrupt.

01:18:13.000 So we're talking about controlling through the back door by controlling the cost of capital, and certain players get a very low or even free or negative cost of capital.

01:18:27.000 So I'm a bank every time I lose, I'm a big bank every time I lose money, you just replenish what I lost.

01:18:33.000 Whereas the rest of us have real risk, and we have to pay a much higher cost of capital And if you won't sell your business to them, they put in the green economy, which is run by government, they will selectively force you to sell your business or they will shut you down.

01:18:58.000 Thousands of ways it happens, but there's a double standard in terms of regulatory enforcement.

01:19:04.000 So, for example, I used to have a broker dealer that was a small company before I'd worked on Wall Street.

01:19:11.000 And if you look at the enforcement costs and time that we spent as a small business, it was significantly greater.

01:19:18.000 But there are double standards.

01:19:21.000 Now, let me describe behind this what one of the legitimate problems is.

01:19:30.000 There's a problem in that right now the financial markets have two goals.

01:19:36.000 You know, the goal you're taught in business school is the goal of the financial markets is to allocate capital to the most efficient players.

01:19:42.000 And so, you know, some companies are efficient and they make money and so they attract you, you buy their stock as opposed to the big bank that has the derivative method goes bankrupt, right?

01:19:54.000 So one is the allocation of capital.

01:19:56.000 The other increasingly, Alex, is geopolitical economic warfare.

01:20:01.000 You know, we've gone from a planet where wars occur with bombs to where wars occur with derivative bombs.

01:20:08.000 And you're literally seeing sort of a geopolitical competition between the Chinese, the Russians, and populations around the globe for resources through the capital markets.

01:20:21.000 And so the national security goals of manipulating the futures market at the price of oil or the price of gold have literally overtaken, you know, And part of what you're seeing with all the goal of the capital control is literally if you're the government, you can't afford for people to be making a free market.

01:20:45.000 You need the 20 mules to go in this direction because that's what you need to manage the Chinese. 1.00

01:20:52.000 And so you have this incredible desire for control, including for a legitimate reason.

01:20:58.000 And let me tell you what the problem is.

01:20:59.000 You and I have talked many times about the red button problem.

01:21:03.000 Everybody in America, right now, we are all the beneficiary of this geopolitical effort.

01:21:11.000 So tomorrow, if the geopolitics stop, and America stopped playing to win at geopolitics, and we stopped being the global leader in money laundering, and we stopped, you know, stealing from people using derivatives, what would happen is everybody's government subsidy check would stop, and as of last month, Americans get more government checks We get more money from the government than we send to the government tax.

01:45:02.000 Or is your sheriff instead spending all of your tax monies foreclosing on people on behalf of the Big Bank?

01:45:15.000 The second thing is, in your state and local areas, you have candidates who are proposing Tenth Amendment legislation.

01:45:29.000 We have lots of states, you know, doing a variety of things on the Tenth Amendment.
