00:58:55.000 Then these very same banks have the audacity to loan this money back to us at more interest.

00:59:02.000 In 2009, the interest we paid on the national debt in one year was more than we spent totally on the Iraq War.

00:59:16.000 Because most of the media and Congress are beholding to the big banks for loans.

01:04:48.000 And so they changed the silver slippers, which is what it was in the book, to ruby slippers for the movie.

01:04:56.000 And thereby, most of the rest of the symbolism was lost in history.

01:05:00.000 But if you go back to the book and you look at the illustrations, Dorothy's slippers were silver, and that was the symbolism.

01:05:08.000 The silver slippers, which basically was a less controlled, more abundant form of money, allowed Dorothy to tread safely on the dangerous universe.

01:07:38.000 But if, as long as you're mortgaged out to the max, any business that's mortgaged out to the max can't go against the bankers.

01:25:00.000 The State Bank of North Dakota kind of serves as a mini Federal Reserve, completely outside of the federal system.

01:25:08.000 This model can be used in every state in the union, and can go a long way towards eliminating every state deficit in this country.
