00:09:27.000 But I wanted to play this clip with one of the Deputy Directors of Homeland Security three and a half years ago.

00:09:33.000 Saying Americans should be proud of the fact that NSA and Pentagon satellites are being used to surveil the American people.

00:09:45.000 Now, when they announced this back in 2007, there was a big uproar.

00:09:51.000 And a lot of federal judges said that's completely illegal.

00:09:55.000 That was the same time that the warrantless wiretapping was coming out that was illegal.

00:09:59.000 And the torture was coming out that was illegal.

00:10:01.000 And so they backed off and said, okay, we're not going to have local police basically federalize in the fusion centers, surveilling everyone.

00:10:10.000 But they went ahead with the training and did it.

00:10:13.000 This is in Greece, Australia, the UK, Canada, the US.

00:10:18.000 So the issue here is, here they are three years ago, three and a half years ago, saying this is for terrorists.

00:10:25.000 And then now we learn today, it's all over the news in the last few weeks, that, oh, you didn't pay the city fee to have a swimming pool.

00:10:36.000 You didn't get environmental approval or zoning approval to build that shed on your farm or to re-roof that house.

00:10:46.000 So they're using it.

00:10:48.000 And of course, you've seen the famous Pennsylvania ad that came out this year.

00:10:52.000 Where it shows them surveilling somebody with a satellite named Tom, saying, we know where you live, Tom.

00:10:58.000 You owe us $4,000, Tom.

00:11:01.000 We're coming to get you, Tom.

00:11:03.000 So they go from trying to unveil this in the name of fighting Al-Qaeda to now admitting it's for we, the people.

00:11:16.000 First, there were eyes on the street.

00:11:18.000 And now, there are eyes in the skies.

00:11:20.000 The Director of National Intelligence has given the go-ahead for the nation's spy satellites to be used regularly by U.S.

00:11:27.000 civilian agencies and law enforcement.

00:11:30.000 This is a development all Americans should have great pride in because it expands and uses national technical systems which we've built for tens of billions of dollars over many decades.

00:11:40.000 Spy satellites have primarily been used overseas to monitor things like war zones and terror training camps.

00:11:46.000 They've also been used domestically, but sparingly.

00:11:49.000 During events including Super Bowl games, presidential inaugurals, and hurricanes.

00:11:54.000 Homeland Security officials say the satellites will now be used to protect borders and critical infrastructure.

00:11:59.000 Which includes ports and looking at potential vulnerabilities and threats as well as consequences of attacks.

00:12:07.000 Next in line, law enforcement agencies which are expected to start using them next year.

00:12:12.000 While they can provide crucial high-resolution images, there are limits to what these satellites can do.

00:12:18.000 They can't see faces, And they can't listen.

00:12:21.000 At least, that's what the government claims.

00:12:23.000 But privacy groups worry that because there's so much we don't know about their capabilities, they could be misused.

00:12:29.000 And we wouldn't even know it.

00:12:31.000 The question always comes down to what are the standards?

00:12:35.000 Are there checks and balances?

00:12:37.000 And is this a power that we would trust the executive branch to use without any outside scrutiny or oversight or control?

00:12:46.000 Homeland Security officials insist that they are subject to a great amount of oversight and review, but in many ways this is just one more case of the government figuring it out as it goes in the war on terror.

00:14:18.000 The next day, October 4th, they said we're spending none of it on that and we're not going to tell Congress where the money's going.

00:14:31.000 No one's allowed to inspect it, no one's allowed to look at it, because under the Federal Reserve Act, it's under the private bank's control.

00:16:14.000 But the point is, you read Ron Paul's editorial, he explains that he's against Obama, and he's against the Republican leadership, because if you look at their voting records, not their rhetoric, look at what they do, not what they say, Government grows when Republicans are in almost as fast as it does when Obama's gotten into office.

00:16:35.000 In fact, previously, government would grow even faster under Republicans than it would under Democrats, if you look at the statistics.

00:16:47.000 Now under Obama, all those rules have been broken.

00:16:49.000 I mean, you would imagine that it would be Democrats with their tax and spend system that would actually create the biggest deficits and things.

00:16:57.000 But if you look at the averages, normally Republicans tend to get even more big government through because conservatives go to sleep.

00:17:04.000 But now under Obama, with the government takeover of health care, with expanding these wars, expanding the size of the federal government, He has tripled the size of government in only a year and a half in office when George W. Bush only doubled it.

00:17:26.000 But Obama has spent more money than all presidents before him combined.

01:37:22.000 It sounds like, going to break, you were hinting the co-opting of the Tea Party, which we know was founded by the Ron Paul movement,

01:37:30.000 He wrote an editorial that was published yesterday, it's up on Infowars.com, saying that the Republicans are controlled by the very same globalists, where they have better rhetoric, they are the same people, and basically warning that Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck are bad news, and that they're not really giving people the truth.

01:37:56.000 But Joel Skousen, what do you think is most important?

01:37:59.000 Before I go into some of those big picture items, and it's very true, the co-opting of the resistance movement is the most important criteria for them right now.

01:38:10.000 And I'll explain, I think, how they're doing that.

01:38:12.000 But before we leave the secret America thing, I really want to take a few minutes to give some very good specifics to your audience about how they recruit people, how they operate within the dark side, how they get people to cross over from the white side to the dark side.

01:38:27.000 Because I think this is fascinating to people, and they need to understand this when their children go into the military, or when they naively go into work for the FBI, or the CIA, or the DEA, how this process happens.

01:38:41.000 Oftentimes we stay too general, and I want to give some specifics before we go on.

01:38:45.000 I once had a friend of mine who happened to be a Mormon.

01:38:48.000 A lot of Mormons are recruited into the CIA and the FBI because they've got that clean-cut image, and they are very pro-American.

01:38:55.000 They are very patriotic.

01:38:57.000 Well, he got assigned overseas because a lot of Mormon returned missionaries have these language skills.

01:39:02.000 They speak all the languages of the world, and that's why they're very anxious to get him into the CIA.

01:39:09.000 So he got assigned overseas, and he was at a hotel one night, and he got a knock on the door, and there was a very good-looking woman, and she was there to offer her services.

01:39:19.000 And he said, no, no, you know, I don't do that kind of thing.

01:39:22.000 I'm not interested.

01:39:24.000 And she said, no, no, it's okay, it's already paid for.

01:39:26.000 And he said, well, paid for by who?

01:39:29.000 And he said, you know, the company, your agency.

01:39:33.000 And he was kind of shocked.

01:39:34.000 He just, ah, come on, you know, he said, no, no, it's all paid for, you know, can I come in?

01:39:39.000 And he said, no, they shut the door on it.

01:39:42.000 Well, the next morning he talked to some of his other cohorts and they'd all had similar knocks on the door.

01:39:49.000 And most of them had accepted.

01:39:51.000 And he said from that time on, his career went nowhere.

01:39:55.000 Yeah, he could still stay in the CIA, but he was not getting promoted.

01:40:02.000 In fact, he was hinted at in his annual review and said, well, you know, you're just going to kind of stay at the same level.

01:41:25.000 They're basically taken aside by the CIA to say, hey, you've done really well, we want you to recruit for us.

01:41:30.000 They don't even have to be corrupt themselves, but they usually are.

01:41:35.000 But generally speaking, they're meant to look out and talk how to psychologically profile people that they want to bring in undercover under the CIA.

01:41:43.000 That's how Timothy Corbett got recruited.

01:41:46.000 It's very interesting that Timothy Corbett will tell the specific incident.

01:41:50.000 That he was in the military, he was really doing well, he had a lot of good reports, he was very people's oriented, he had a good leadership report.

01:41:58.000 He got recruited into the CIA by one of his officers.

01:42:02.000 And what they do, it's just like CIA sheep-dipping people or calling them out of the service.

01:42:07.000 They go to work for someone in the private sector.

01:42:10.000 And in this case, but they're always missing for about a year or two.

01:42:16.000 He had no contact with his family for over a year.

01:42:19.000 And when he finally surfaced to show up to take a job at various private security companies, the CIA has a lot of operators that deal with private security companies like Wackenthal and others that are essentially CIA fronts.

01:42:37.000 That's how they put the screws on people in prison because they can essentially, you know, get things done through these private agencies.

02:12:56.000 He said, tomorrow, and then he got turned around.

02:12:59.000 Now, it wasn't a direct turnaround.

02:13:01.000 You see, where somebody came and said to him, all right, you're going to do this and this and this.

02:13:13.000 They were recommended to him from his Fox sources.

02:13:15.000 It was a controlled news organization, as you said.

02:13:19.000 And it was through them explaining to them that, you know, you don't want to get on the air and explain this.

02:13:28.000 And Glenn Beck continues to refuse to get alternative opinions.
