00:00:47.000 Someone came in at about 8 o'clock in the morning and began shooting.

00:00:51.000 They claim an automatic rifle.

00:00:53.000 That probably means it was bolt action.

00:00:54.000 They call everything an automatic rifle these days.

00:00:57.000 And then reportedly killed himself.

00:01:00.000 No one else was shot or injured.

00:01:02.000 Thank God!

00:01:04.000 But, we then saw the police say that there was a second shooter, then they changed that story 30 minutes later and said there might be another suspect.

00:01:12.000 And here we are, almost four hours later, they've got all of UT basically locked down.

00:01:17.000 We've got Matt Ryan and Jason Douglas down there to give us a report coming up in the next segment.

00:01:25.000 But now, I see these reports even in the town I live in, and it always happens around deer season.

00:01:31.000 A deer hunter will walk out to their car from their apartment or their house, put a deer rifle in the back of the truck to go to the shooting range or go hunting in one of the hunting preserves, you know, outside Austin, Texas, one of their deer leases, and the police get called.

00:01:45.000 SWAT teams will lock down whole neighborhoods, shut down nearby schools.

00:01:49.000 All part of this fear-mongering and that goes with a report out of Wisconsin where activists are having open concealed carry to exercise their right and they're being arrested and charged even though there's no law.

00:02:02.000 And that connects to a report out of Maryland where they were trying to put the guy in jail for seven years for videotaping cops when they pull him over when he's riding his motorcycle.

00:02:12.000 He was already videotaping it and mounted on his motorcycle helmet for a YouTube video.

00:02:16.000 A lot of motorcyclists do that.

00:02:18.000 And he was recklessly driving even in his own admission.

00:02:20.000 He was doing some wheelies.

00:02:22.000 Down the highway and the undercover cop pulls him over, points a gun at him, freaks out.

00:02:26.000 The guy posted on YouTube and they charge him with wiretapping.

00:02:29.000 And the federal judges said, look, this isn't wiretapping.

00:02:32.000 There's no perception of privacy in public.

00:02:35.000 That's how the government puts up cameras watching the general population. 0.95

00:11:30.000 It says that the investment arm of the CIA and Google are both backing the company that monitors the web in real time and says it can use that information to predict the future.

00:11:39.000 Now, that's from a few weeks ago, or July 28th, actually a few months ago.

00:11:43.000 Here is the Buffalo News today.

00:11:48.000 Technology identifies troubled individuals, and it admits that law enforcement's now having access to basically everything you do in real time, just no pretense of a Fourth Amendment, and that it, quote, can predict your crimes before you supposedly commit them.

00:12:06.000 And of course this technology is a fraud, and we've caught them many times planting blood samples on people, planting DNA evidence on individuals, faking fingerprints for decades.

00:12:20.000 That technology has been available.

00:12:23.000 And, of course, now lie detector tests are inadmissible in court because they've been proven to be a fraud.

00:12:28.000 So they're moving from that old-fashioned fraud and quackery to high-tech fraud.

00:12:34.000 So that's going to be coming up.

00:12:35.000 Also, cops charge open carry activists in Wisconsin who didn't commit a crime.

00:12:42.000 But the system doesn't care.

00:12:43.000 They say, we don't care.

00:12:44.000 We're still going to charge you if you open carry and try to demonstrate that your rights are inalienable.

00:12:50.000 But the police tried the same thing in Maryland.

00:13:00.000 But the scary issue here is the police on every front, at least their commanders on every front, are showing their anti-free speech.

00:13:12.000 Anti-First Amendment, anti-press, anti-Bill of Rights.

00:13:17.000 And it's very scary that they'll arrest people exercising the Second Amendment lawfully and say, we don't care.

00:13:23.000 Or they'll arrest people in 14 states and charge them with felonies for videotaping police, in some cases in their own homes.

00:13:31.000 That's citizens in their own homes or citizens in their own businesses.

00:13:34.000 I've seen cases where the police will raid a business, in one case a health food store, and then the store put on YouTube surveillance camera footage from the raid and they indicted them.

00:13:48.000 This is amazing!

00:13:50.000 This is incredible that the police know full well this is not wiretapping.

00:13:55.000 They know full well, but they still charge you with it.

00:14:00.000 Wiretapping is going over to somebody's telephone box and hooking a recorder onto it and recording their conversations without a warrant.

00:14:11.000 And the police can get in trouble for that.

00:14:12.000 It's a felony.

00:14:13.000 General citizens can.

00:14:15.000 Wiretapping is planting a camera in your ex-girlfriend's apartment.

00:14:19.000 You see those cases all the time.

00:14:21.000 Wiretapping or spying on someone or violating their privacy is climbing over their back fence and watching them through their window.

00:14:29.000 That's called prowling.

00:14:32.000 And it's that body of law.

00:14:33.000 It's getting in someone's private area or private communications.

00:14:40.000 We take you now to downtown Austin at the University of Texas.

00:14:44.000 They're right up there at the picket line.

00:14:46.000 To give you a quick report on this, police on scene of shooting on UT campus.

00:14:52.000 A gunman who fired several shots on the University of Texas campus.

00:14:56.000 And the library is dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and police are looking for a possible second suspect, officials say.

00:15:04.000 First, it was a second gunman to just shut down UT and say, don't leave your homes, don't be down there.

00:15:10.000 They're down there trying to tell people they can't even walk on the street.

00:15:13.000 And this shooting happened four hours ago, four plus hours ago, right now.

00:15:19.000 And so they've got much of UT shut down.

00:15:22.000 Armored vehicles are down there.

00:15:24.000 You name it.

00:15:25.000 And this is a matter of course.

00:15:27.000 They're just saying they think there could be a second gunman.

00:15:29.000 Now it's a second suspect.

00:15:32.000 And so we'll definitely learn more as this unfolds.

00:15:36.000 But thank God more people weren't hurt.

00:15:38.000 Only person hurt.

00:15:39.000 Reportedly was the alleged shooter and I take you now to Matt Ryan and Jason Douglas who are on the street reporting for InfoWars.com to give us a in-person view of what's going on down there at the University of Texas at Austin.

00:16:04.000 Uh, the gun is apparently, uh, has been identified as an AK-47, which is the standard assault rifle.

00:16:12.000 A big squad team is going back and forth with, uh...

00:16:15.000 with town, apparently trying to sniff out somebody, if anybody.

00:16:19.000 They're trying to evacuate the entire area.

00:16:22.000 There's been sirens going off constantly with warnings from the police to evacuate immediately.

00:16:28.000 And beyond that, they're just waiting to determine if there even is a second shooter.

00:16:33.000 There's a lot of confusion regarding that.

00:16:34.000 Did the police, Matt Ryan, try to tell you to leave?

00:16:37.000 Not at this time.

00:16:38.000 We showed up.

00:16:40.000 We asked for the press staging area, and they were nice enough to allow us the permission to report on the story.

00:16:45.000 They were nice enough to allow you because you have a First Amendment write-up.

00:16:51.000 I mean, you couldn't be in the library right now.

00:16:54.000 But in the past, they would just put up crime scene tape, you know, 30 feet in front of it, and that was basically the common law upheld in court.

00:17:01.000 But now, they've reportedly pushed people back over a mile, correct?

00:17:06.000 On either side, actually.

00:17:07.000 I'm hearing a lot of chitter-chatter between different reporters.

00:17:12.000 Uh, they're having trouble setting up staging areas.

00:17:14.000 Uh, there's the boundaries, and that's pretty far, as far as the, uh, the boundaries for press.

00:17:19.000 And if you're a regular citizen, not identifying yourself as a press, it's even further.

00:17:24.000 Well, I just want to say, I mean, we're glad they're not violating your First Amendment, but I wouldn't say they're really allowing you to do this.

00:17:31.000 My issue is, we know the Russians have been caught staging shootings at schools as a pretext to crack down. 0.98

00:17:40.000 A lot of evidence that was a staged event, according to witnesses and a lot of intel.

00:17:45.000 And over 120 propane bombs were brought in that morning beforehand, CBS News reported, but all of that got shut down.

00:17:51.000 The school was more than half empty that day because word had been given that the shooting was going to happen.

00:17:57.000 Harrison Kleibold had made a school-sponsored video about a mass shooting at the school, and I find it very suspicious that they've locked everything down Uh, and, you know, this could have been part of a drill.

00:18:10.000 And we know they have had many unannounced drills at private, uh, businesses, uh, public schools, uh, secondary schools, college, high school.

00:18:20.000 Uh, so I find this new trend of pushing people back, uh, the news is reporting over a mile, uh, will really allow them to cover up what's happening.

00:18:28.000 We see the news reports of armored vehicles down there.

00:18:30.000 Uh, Technically, do you know exactly how far they've pushed people back for this show of forced circus?

00:18:38.000 Again, with all the confusion, I know a lot of reporters are having trouble actually getting word to their stations of exactly where the staging grounds are set up.

00:18:48.000 They either keep moving them or keep pushing them back.

00:18:51.000 But one thing I did find interesting is this all started around 8.28 AM with the first report of a shooter in the library.

00:18:59.000 Within a half hour, the report was that the shooter had shot themselves.

00:19:03.000 There might be a second shooter.

00:19:05.000 And it's because of that supposed second shooter that everything's been locked down for so long.

00:19:11.000 Helicopters are just constantly circling overhead looking for a shooter that is possibly long gone by now.

00:19:17.000 Well, I mean, let's remember that with Charles Whitman in 1966, uh, that...

00:19:25.000 You know, he killed a lot of people, and then himself was taken out by Austin police officers, that UT really was one of the first places in modern history where we've seen these type of mass shootings take place.

00:19:36.000 So, this is a real sore spot, a painful spot for UT alumni, UT students, and Austinites.

00:36:38.000 Charles Joseph Whitman was a student at the University of Texas at Austin and an ex-Marine who killed 14 people and wounded 32 others during a shooting rampage at and around the university campus on August 1st.

00:36:53.000 And he would have killed a lot more if the SWAT teams would have showed up and made everybody stand down.

00:36:57.000 But they didn't have SWAT teams then.

00:36:58.000 They were just being formed in LA at the time.

00:38:12.000 Because, you know, going back three hours ago, they'd already stopped saying that and just said another suspect.

00:38:24.000 So, it's definitely hearsay.

00:38:26.000 I don't know if they're switching their story, but they seemed like they were going with that story, the news.

01:13:58.000 But what I'm calling about is I'm here in Austin and I was listening to KLBJ AM, and you guys might want to try to get these tapes, but they had some pretty credible witnesses that were there on the scene at 21st Street, right by the six-pack.

01:14:12.000 And what they were reporting was that there was a gunman there, and that he opened fire there on 21st Street, not inside the building, not inside the library.

01:14:21.000 And one of the callers said that he watched him, and that he really didn't have control of the weapon.

01:14:29.000 He never shouldered the weapon.

01:14:31.000 But he was just holding it and just, you know, just firing randomly.

01:14:34.000 He never, you know, squared up on anybody, but shots were fired outside the building, which we haven't heard in the mainstream yet.

01:14:44.000 One of the other ladies said that she was, uh, dropped off by her husband and she was about 30 feet away from the guy as he was firing on 21st Street.

01:16:08.000 There was a cab driver for a yellow cab that said he was dropping off his fare right there by the six-pack and that he heard the shots ring out and saw the guy shooting and sped, you know, down 21st Street towards Speedway and towards the stadium and were telling people not to go that way, you know, and, you know, he made his 9-1-1 calls and stuff from there and they were saying that they got that call at KLBJ AM at, like, Uh, 8, 10 in the morning.

01:16:40.000 You know, and this guy, this guy's already on, you know, already on the radio.

01:16:42.000 Well, just like with the Oklahoma City bombing, the live tapes, they're removing the bombs.

01:16:47.000 The governor comes on, we found three more bombs.

01:16:50.000 And then, not only did they not deny it, they just never talked about it again.

01:16:55.000 They didn't go back and say we were wrong.

01:16:57.000 They just said we don't want to discuss it.

02:10:58.000 Well, for those that don't know, when you watch a movie like Dr. Strangelove made by Stanley Kubrick, they call it the bland corporation, has a report where they talk about we can nuke Russia and only lose 10 to 20 million Americans.

02:11:11.000 That's really base for my research, but I want you, who knows far more than I, on real reports put out by Rand and some of these shadowy figures that started it.

02:11:22.000 Break down the history of Rand and why it's so important.

02:11:25.000 Well, I think, you know, RAND is important for a number of reasons.

02:11:28.000 I mean, dating back, it's the most influential think tank in America, if not in the world.

02:11:33.000 It shaped the policy of nuclear deterrence.

02:11:36.000 came up with the concept of counterinsurgency, laid the foundation for the Internet, harbored game theory, came up with something called systems analysis, which revolutionized the U.S. government.

02:11:51.000 But above all, the main thing that is really, really, really important, which is something that perhaps I should have emphasized even more in the book, but it's very clear there, they came up with a foundation for the wave of financial disasters that we find ourselves in.

02:12:06.000 Something called rational choice theory, which was developed by a Nobel Prize winner named Kenneth Arrow, who came up with something called Arrow's stratagem, which

02:12:21.000 Which, in a way, went against the precepts of Marxism, and yet turned loose this whole wave of deregulation, of people just thinking that, you know, they're only in it for themselves, and, like, overturned all the concepts on which this country had been based on.

02:12:39.000 That, I think, is their major contribution to, unfortunately, to our national fabric.

02:12:44.000 When you say it's the most influential think tank of the United States and probably the world, that is not an exaggeration.

02:12:51.000 In fact, it may even be an understatement.

02:12:53.000 From my research, Stanley Kubrick was obsessed with the Rand Corporation, got a lot of the material for several of his films from it, because he realized that they were charting So much of our technological development and sat at the top of the capstone for the scientific and technological elite that Eisenhower talked about in his speech that were controlling the military industrial complex.

02:13:18.000 Eisenhower quotes about Military industrial complex being dangerous.

02:13:23.000 Those are well known, but the rest of his farewell address gets into the scientific technological elite that was taking over the system because he was reading their reports.

02:13:35.000 He was seeing what they had to say.

02:13:38.000 Why did you want to look at Rand Corporation?

02:13:39.000 How were you able to get in to see their internal annals when no one else had been able to do it?

02:13:45.000 Let's walk through all the different things that they developed, including, didn't they develop the idea for midair refueling?

02:13:52.000 And also the idea of second strike, second nuclear strike deterrence.

02:13:56.000 And that came out of something called a basing study, which highlighted the weaknesses in our national defense system against a surprise strike by the Russians.

02:14:13.000 But in any case, had they been able to, they would have been able to.

02:14:15.000 And not to mention, of course, they helped develop the current COG plan that Northcom uses to militarize and take over our entire society by building a second secretive government.

02:14:32.000 From the very beginning, you know, RAN has been involved with people who have wanted to create an alternative, a secret government.

02:14:50.000 And it's the first president either who really believed, you know, in a one world government controlled by technocrats.

02:15:52.000 So they set up RAND, which by the way, the acronym means Research and Development.

02:15:57.000 Of course, you know, there's no development.

02:16:00.000 In 1946, and it was housed at Douglas Aircraft here in Santa Monica.

02:16:06.000 Because the guy, Mr. Douglas, happened to be married to Arnold's daughter.

02:16:17.000 In any case, they set it up here at Douglas Aircraft.

02:16:21.000 And within a couple of years, Rand was doing so much work for the military that Douglas felt, Douglas Aircraft, the company, felt that, you know, its own livelihood was being endangered.

02:16:33.000 And then to spin it off, they went then to the Ford Foundation and to Wells Fargo Bank and got loans and got just outright gifts, also from Henry Ford himself.

02:16:42.000 And with that money, then they were able to set up and become independent as a place where they would develop, you know, like, new weapons of destruction.

02:16:50.000 And it's been going on ever since.

02:16:52.000 I mean, Bernard Brody, who was the main—who's been called the father of nuclear deterrence, worked there for a while, and as I said, did the Delta Systems Analysis, which a way of viewing problems in their context instead of just individually and seeing which is the best way to arrive at a result, but all numerically based.

02:17:26.000 I mean, almost every policy we see, they charted the course for that, But let's go back, because we're about to go to break.

02:18:20.000 And John Williams, who was a mathematician, he advocated nuking the Soviet Union, and then again, forming, you know, a one-world government that would be, again, ruled by technocrats.

02:26:35.000 And so I started looking up, you know, the research, doing some research, whether anybody had written about it, and apparently nobody had for a long, long time.

02:26:42.000 And I approached them, and much to my surprise, they said, yes, we'll do it.

02:26:47.000 And at the time, they told me this was either the smartest or the dumbest move we have ever made. 0.80

02:27:51.000 And of course, that's one of the things that Eisenhower was against, because Eisenhower, having been a general, he knew what death was all about.

02:27:57.000 Oh yeah, Curtis LeMay, for those that don't know, he wanted to have nuclear war, and a lot of them did.

02:28:49.000 And, you know, it was called, it was mass murder, basically, is what we're talking about.

02:28:53.000 But yet, they said, no, this is the rational way to do things.

02:36:39.000 We see the architect of the Vietnam War being former Rand, Robert McNamara.

02:36:45.000 He was never formally affiliated with Rand, but he definitely hired, he picked the brains of the Rand Corporation to run the Pentagon because both those guys that ran and McNamara were numbers people.

02:37:05.000 He was the youngest CEO at the time.

02:37:24.000 And then he started picking people like Hitch, who was his controller, and Allen Enthoven, who went over there and instituted systems analysis within the Pentagon.

02:37:37.000 And from there, that systems analysis approach was adopted by the entire U.S.

02:37:52.000 And we see the model of the Pentagon using contractors to not just carry out illegal spying on their dirty work, but to really be in the command seat of the Pentagon and government agencies itself.

02:38:12.000 Again, let's say we can follow this, if you grab me a couple of seconds here, which is, Rand was advocating a volunteer army.

02:38:27.000 because, obviously, because it would favor a lot of people and a lot of industries that they're in bed with, but also because it really ties in so neatly with the concept that they developed that of rational choice, which I was mentioning before, which is the concept that there is really no such thing as patriotism or religion, because which is the concept that there is really no such thing as patriotism or religion, And therefore, the only thing that counts is what I can get for myself.

02:38:51.000 Matter of fact, that if you get more than four people in the room, there really isn't any way that you can have a democratic solution to anything, because one's will has to be imposed over the others.

03:03:21.000 We've had you on many times over the years, but not in these circumstances.

03:03:24.000 What do you think of the foggy one-person shooting, the individual reportedly shooting themselves, and now the UT Law School cancelling your event?

03:03:35.000 Did they tell you why they cancelled it?

03:03:38.000 Well, I mean, I think the law school is on lockdown right now.

03:03:43.000 There have been some concern earlier in the week.

03:03:46.000 The dean for the law school had expressed concern about me talking about this subject.

03:03:51.000 So I think there's some trepidation to begin with, but I think right now it's broader than just me.

03:03:59.000 So now talking about something might not be allowed in America because guns are so evil.

03:04:04.000 You know, they come out of their cases at night and stalk people and kill them like a pit bull.

03:04:08.000 Of course, we know that's not true.

03:04:11.000 So how were you notified that it was canceled?

03:04:12.000 Well, the students that set it up told me, but they're doing it off campus right now at a bookstore nearby.

03:04:29.000 I mean, the answer is, more people with guns.

03:04:32.000 If he would have started shooting people, there would have a better chance for folks to defend themselves instead of getting in a fetal position.

03:04:37.000 Well, because of my research over the years, I have ended up talking to lots and lots of people who have been having to confront these horrible situations.

03:04:49.000 The feelings of helplessness is something that people just see all the time.

03:04:58.000 But, you know, my concern is that the types of bans that we have at some places like UC merely serves as a magnet for these types of attacks to occur.

03:05:10.000 I suppose the easiest way to phrase this is Let's say somebody was really threatening you or your family, would you feel safe for putting a sign up in front of the house, your home, saying that this home is a gun-free zone?

03:05:23.000 Would that make it less likely that they would attack?

03:05:26.000 And I think most people's reaction would be, it wouldn't even be very bright to put a sign like that up because you're merely telling the attacker that they don't have much to worry about when they go in there, that people aren't going to be able to stop them.

03:05:40.000 It's inconsistent with the academic research that's there, and, you know, UT, I guess, has tried to put more armed guards and others around, but the problem is the same problem that Israel, for example, experienced, and that is, you know, if you put two soldiers on a bus, the terrorist has two options.

03:06:00.000 They can either wait for those people to leave before they engage in their attack, or those are the first people that they take out.

03:06:07.000 And so Israel, for decades tried to put more and more police and military on the street.

03:06:13.000 And after, what, 72 realized that that just wasn't working, and they started letting its citizens carry concealed handguns.

03:06:21.000 That's why you have 15% of adult Israeli Jews who carry concealed handguns now in the country.

03:07:15.000 The polls are shifting towards the vast majority being pro-Second Amendment because of your research and the common-sense approach.

03:07:23.000 Is this not, I mean, very coincidental that you had a lone shooter who fires a gun reportedly and then shoots himself, and reportedly somebody else shooting a gun on a street corner, the day that your speech, that they already... No, no, no, it's really coincidental, but they, you know, to bring up the Virginia Tech, I think,

03:07:44.000 There are multiple lessons to that, but one of the lessons is, with being done from areas, like Virginia Tech did, in order to try to make things safer, you know, the problem is, who invades these lawns?

03:07:58.000 If you're a law-abiding student, you'd be able to go and have a permanent steel gang gun or a fasting member and carry it virtually any place in the state, except for the campus.

03:08:09.000 If you carry it on the campus, And let's say you're a student, you're going to get expelled if you get caught.

03:08:14.000 If you're a faculty member, you're going to get fired.

03:08:17.000 If you get fired or expelled for a firearms-related violation, your academic career is over.

03:08:23.000 You're not going to be able to go to law school again or undergraduate.

03:08:27.000 You're not going to go to any place, probably to college, with a firearms violation like that on your record.

03:08:32.000 If you're a faculty member who gets fired for that, your academic career is over.

03:08:37.000 You're not going to get hired with that type of black mark on your record.

03:08:41.000 But, you know, the notion, for law-abiding citizens to do these things, their lives are going to be unholy changed if they get caught for carrying a permanently concealed agent.

03:08:51.000 But if a criminal will kill 32 people who may already be facing, if they had lived, 32 death penalties and 32 life sentences, To me, the notion of somehow bringing to get expulsion to the list of penalties is going to be the penalty that's going to make it so that they won't commit this crime.

03:09:11.000 I mean, if you were to add a few years prison, but, you know, what you end up doing with these laws is having them so there's a law abiding good to this disobedience and not the criminals.
