01:37:26.000 Well, I mean, like you say, I'm an attorney, and that takes most of my time during the day, so I don't have a whole lot of spare time to devote to 9-11.

01:37:37.000 But I have been trying to contribute some original research and original work since about maybe 2006.

01:37:45.000 And as I was, you know, submitting comments on various government reports and, you know, submitting papers to be published in scientific journals on this subject, they kept wanting to know, you know, what organization that I was affiliated with.

01:38:03.000 And since I was, you know, kind of acting independently and I didn't really have anything to say.

01:38:09.000 In 2008, I founded the International Center for 9-11 Studies basically as a, just a vehicle through which I could, you know, contribute original research to 9-11 and also collaborate, you know, with other scientists and, you know, college professors on work related to 9-11.

01:38:30.000 So, you know, I've been author or co-author on several papers that have been published in scientific journals through the International Center.

01:38:43.000 And I've worked with scientists, you know, all over the world.

01:38:51.000 But the most recent action we've taken was we filed a Freedom of Information Act request in January of 2009 with the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

01:39:04.000 We basically just requested every photograph or video that they used, you know, received, cited, you know, in any way that was in any way a part of their investigation into the Twin Towers and Building 7.

01:39:21.000 Uh, they, you know, despite, you know, repeated, uh, you know, requests for, for when we might hear back from them after, you know, four months of calling them about once a month and, and seeing, asking when they might respond, we were forced to file a lawsuit against them.

01:39:38.000 And, uh, sure enough, you know, a month after we filed the lawsuit, they start releasing documents and they have been ever since.

01:39:46.000 Well, talk about... I mean, because you really did something important.

01:39:50.000 Talk about how you got the idea to demand all these videos be released.

01:39:55.000 They didn't want to be forthcoming, they refused to give them to others, but you were able to get them, and now some of the things that we're seeing on these videos.

01:40:09.000 I think, you know, a year or two before I submitted my request, I recall somebody else Uh, posting on 9-11 Blogger, uh, that they had requested pretty much the same thing I did and that NIST told them that it would cost, you know, $19,000 or $20,000, uh, to produce all this stuff.

01:40:27.000 And, and obviously, you know, that was an effort on their part to make it cost prohibitive.

01:40:32.000 So, you know, I thought, well, I'll submit it and, uh, I'll, I'll submit the same request.

01:40:43.000 Uh, because, you know, I'm an attorney, so, uh, filing a lawsuit against him would be a lot cheaper than, you know, paying him $19,000 or $20,000.

01:40:51.000 So, um, you know, but after actually, whenever I submitted the request, they never responded, um, which actually under Under recent amendments to the Freedom of Information Act, if they fail to respond within 20 days, you actually get kicked down into a lower fee structure.
