Alex Jones Show - 20110325_Fri_Alex

00:00:00.000 Well, so does he.

00:00:01.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

00:00:05.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.

00:00:12.000 Welcome, ladies and gentlemen.

00:00:14.000 It's the Alex Jones Show live on this Friday, March 25th, 2011.

00:00:21.000 I'll be your fill-in host for the first half of this show today.

00:00:23.000 My name's Paul Joseph Watson, editor and writer for PrisonPlanet.com.

00:00:29.000 And in the second half of the show, your host will be none other than...

00:00:33.000 The Health Ranger, Mike Adams, so be sure not to miss that.

00:00:39.000 Of course, we're streaming live at PrisonPlanet.tv.

00:00:43.000 We'll be taking your calls at the bottom of the hour.

00:00:46.000 And in the next hour, I'll be talking to Dr. Christopher Busby, who is a preeminent nuclear and radiation expert about the deepening crisis in Fukushima.

00:00:58.000 And that's where we'll start our news coverage today.

00:01:02.000 Because for the past week the mass media has been obsessing about the death of Elizabeth Taylor and a myriad of other distractions.

00:01:13.000 Of course the attack on Libya has taken centre stage, we'll discuss that I'll get to that later.

00:01:18.000 But there's been a kind of stupefied mass apathy cultivated by the establishment media as part of this bizarre campaign to convince the global population that the Fukushima crisis is all but over, when in fact it's deepening day by day.

00:01:39.000 Now, according to the new scientists and the Austrian Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics in Vienna, radiation levels being spewed by Fukushima now rival those emitted by the Chernobyl disaster.

00:01:56.000 And of course, the catastrophe shows no sign of coming to an end.

00:02:00.000 It rumbles on day after day.

00:02:03.000 And of course the news today.

00:02:04.000 Reactor core may be breached at damaged Fukushima plant.

00:02:08.000 Bloomberg News.

00:02:10.000 Japan's nuclear regulator said one reactor core at the quake-damaged Fukushima power plant may be cracked and leaking radiation.

00:02:18.000 Quote, it's very possible that there has been some kind of leak at the number three reactor.

00:02:24.000 Hidehiko Nishima, a spokesman at the Japan Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said in Tokyo today.

00:02:31.000 While radioactive water at the unit most likely escaped from the reactor core, it also could have originated from spent fuel pools stored atop the reactor, he said.

00:02:43.000 And so what the mainstream media is reticent to report is the fact that reactor number three, which is the one that was hit, you'll remember, by that massive fireball explosion we saw on March 14th.

00:02:57.000 Is the reactor that contains the deadly MOX plutonium uranium mix that is in none of the other reactors there at the site.

00:03:09.000 Your Geiger counters and your EPA radiation detectors are just not gonna pick up this mix of plutonium and uranium.

00:03:18.000 And this is what we'll be talking to Chris Busby about later in the show.

00:03:22.000 It's the most deadly form of radiation and it's also invisible to all these detectors that they're using to tell us that everything's gonna be okay.

00:03:32.000 Now, I wrote an article about this yesterday, which you can read.

00:03:35.000 Plutonium is the most deadly radioactive isotope known to man.

00:03:41.000 And indeed, MOX is two million times more deadly than normal enriched uranium.

00:03:48.000 The half-life of plutonium-239 is 24,000 years.

00:03:55.000 And just a few milligrams of P239 escaping in a smoke plume can contaminate soil for tens of thousands of years.

00:04:05.000 Now, this stuff...

00:04:08.000 You know, if this stuff leaks out in significant dosages, you can forget about your potassium iodide.

00:04:15.000 It's a different monster altogether, but I'm sure again that the EPA and the CDC will continue to tell Americans that everything's fine and that there's nothing to worry about, just as the children who splashed about in the yellow rain puddles in the days after Chernobyl were told the same thing in Ukraine, Belarus and surrounding countries will be back to cover the deepening Fukushima crisis on the Alex Jones Show after the break.

00:04:41.000 Stay tuned.

00:04:54.000 This is our last chance to not relive history.

00:04:57.000 As we're finishing off this agenda, that we're pulling the rug from underneath the Americans at home.

00:05:02.000 We have tremendous influence on our President and Congress, and they really are calling the shots.

00:05:08.000 I think it's incumbent upon all of us Tim Geithner?

00:05:11.000 Bernanke?

00:05:12.000 They're arsonists!

00:05:12.000 They're asking for more matches!

00:05:13.000 pay attention.

00:05:14.000 Fall of the Republic identifies the enemies of our nation.

00:05:17.000 The criminal offshore cartel, hell-bent on destroying sovereignty and on its ashes constructing world government.

00:05:23.000 Tim Geithner, Bernanke, they're arsonists.

00:05:26.000 They're asking for more matches.

00:05:27.000 And the Congress is saying, who do we make the checkout to?

00:05:30.000 Today, it seems like nobody does care.

00:05:32.000 And right now, in Washington, D.C., we have seen a fall of the Republic.

00:05:37.000 Get your copy of Fall of the Republic on DVD at InfoWars.com or watch it online right now in super high quality at PrisonPlanet.tv This is Alex Jones with 5 good reasons you should consider buying a solar power generator.

00:05:53.000 Number 1.

00:05:54.000 New climate legislation could easily double or triple your electric bill.

00:05:57.000 Number 2.

00:05:58.000 Our new energy czar wants to control how much power your electric company allows you to have.

00:06:03.000 It's true.

00:06:04.000 Total government control of electricity in the name of smart grid technology is coming.

00:06:09.000 Number 3.

00:06:09.000 In some areas of the country, the power grid is dangerously overloaded.

00:06:13.000 And now, new socialist legislation is only compounding the problem.

00:06:17.000 Number 4.

00:06:18.000 Dangerous weather is always a threat to local grids.

00:06:20.000 Every year, thousands of families lose their power from weather-related outages.

00:06:24.000 Number 5.

00:06:25.000 A solar power generator provides powerful backup, insurance, and peace of mind.

00:06:29.000 Folks, I really believe in the solar power generators offered by Solutions from Science, one of my oldest sponsors.

00:06:34.000 You can get more information at www.mysolarbackup.com.

00:06:38.000 That's mysolarbackup.com.

00:06:48.000 A very wealthy US citizen is predicting that in 2011, we will witness the most important day in America in more than 50 years.

00:06:56.000 He says it will change everything about our lives.

00:06:59.000 The way you shop, travel, invest, educate your children, and even how you take care of your health and your own family.

00:07:04.000 Now this man has made some outrageous predictions over the years.

00:07:07.000 The crazy part is, he's usually right.

00:07:10.000 You see, he predicted the collapse of GM, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and America's biggest mall owner, General Growth Properties.

00:07:16.000 In fact, Barron's called his work a dire prophecy.

00:07:19.000 Recently, he created a video, which you can watch online for free, detailing his biggest and most important prediction yet.

00:07:25.000 And it's a real eye-opener.

00:07:27.000 I can't stress this enough.

00:07:28.000 You should at least watch this free video online today.

00:07:31.000 He explains everything you need to know, including simple steps you can take to protect yourself.

00:07:35.000 You can find the video at www.EndOfAmerica3.com.

00:07:39.000 That's End of America, the number 3.com.

00:07:42.000 Watch the free video at www.EndOfAmerica3.com.

00:07:45.000 Endofamerica3.com. That's endofamerica3.com.

00:07:49.000 Big Brother. Mainstream media.

00:07:56.000 Government cover-ups.

00:07:58.000 You want answers?

00:08:00.000 Well, so does he.

00:08:01.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

00:08:06.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.

00:08:12.000 It's Paul Joseph Watson filling in for Alex Jones today on this Friday, March 25th edition.

00:08:19.000 Apple rejects iPhone 4 radiation metering app.

00:08:23.000 Citing a lack of interest, Apple has rejected an app that allows users to see a meter showing how much radiation is being given off by their iPhone in real time.

00:08:33.000 The app, previously praised by Apple for its clever engineering and creative design, Is reported to have been rejected by Steve Jobs himself.

00:08:42.000 Israeli developer Torkon admitted the app, submitted the app on multiple occasions to the App Store, only to have repeated denials.

00:08:51.000 An email from Steve Jobs gave a short two-word explanation as to why the app wouldn't see approval.

00:08:58.000 Quote, no interest.

00:09:00.000 Oh, okay, so potassium iodide is completely sold out, exhausted, you can't buy it anywhere.

00:09:06.000 Geiger counters, can't buy them anywhere, they're sold out.

00:09:10.000 But now Steve Jobs is telling us that there's, quote, no interest in an iPhone app that purports to measure radiation.

00:09:16.000 So again, the message is clear, everything is under control.

00:09:20.000 And now US health authorities are actually encouraging people not to take potassium iodide even in weaker doses.

00:09:29.000 And even as the Fukushima radiation continues to be spewed out of the planet.

00:09:34.000 So, 25 years after they told us Chernobyl was harmless, remember the Russians didn't even admit to it until two days later when engineers in Sweden measured the radiation.

00:09:50.000 And we've been told that, you know, it's of no concern.

00:09:55.000 Don't take your potassium iodide, don't get your Geiger counters.

00:09:59.000 And yet, in Europe, since Chernobyl 25 years ago, we've had nearly a million cancer deaths in Europe attributed to the disaster, according to the latest studies.

00:10:12.000 And in fact, there's a new study that's just been put out by the US National Institutes of Health, the NIH.

00:10:20.000 Which states, quote, nearly 25 years after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine, exposure to radioactive iodine-131 from fallout may be responsible for the thyroid cancers that are still occurring amongst people who lived in the Chernobyl area and were children or adolescents at the time of the accident.

00:10:43.000 And so, just like the kids in Belarus who were told that splashing about in yellow radioactive puddles was perfectly safe because it was, quote, pollen, now we have Tokyo being bathed in this same yellow rain.

00:10:59.000 And just like the victims of Chernobyl, they're being told the same thing, that it's pollen.

00:11:05.000 Well, for their sake, I hope it is, but everything about this disaster, from the cover-ups about the safety of the plant before the disaster, to the ongoing deception about the radiation levels in surrounding areas.

00:11:20.000 Remember, in the two prefectures surrounding Fukushima, they won't even divulge what the radiation levels are.

00:11:29.000 It clearly indicates that they're not to be trusted, which is why people in Tokyo have emptied the shelves of bottled water even after the authorities said it was now safe to drink again.

00:11:41.000 And again, the whole lack of trust only creates a vacuum that is then filled with alarm and panic, which is why we've been trying to get accurate information so people can make the right decisions.

00:11:53.000 It's why we've been talking to people like Busby and Bowman on the Alex Jones Show over the past two weeks.

00:12:01.000 But what really galls me is not just the likes of Ann Coulter claiming that, you know, radiation is nutritious.

00:12:10.000 And again, the offer is still on the table, an all-expenses-paid trip to Fukushima for Ann Coulter, as she still thinks that, you know, radioactive iodine, caesium and plutonium are healthy and nutritious.

00:12:24.000 The offer's on the table, not being accepted yet.

00:12:28.000 But what gets me is the self-proclaimed environmentalists, the people who, you know, scream bloody murder all day long about man-made climate change devastating the planet.

00:12:40.000 But then, when a real environmental catastrophe occurs, like plutonium releases that can make soil infertile for 24,000 years, something to be worried about, you'd think.

00:12:52.000 You know, it's all fine and dandy.

00:12:54.000 And it proves that they don't really give a damn about the environment.

00:12:58.000 They're only interested in the environment when they can use it to demonize the likes of carbon dioxide emissions because they know it's the lifeblood of a free and prosperous society.

00:13:12.000 Specifically, I'm talking about George Monbiot, who writes for The Guardian.

00:13:16.000 Now, Monbiot is Britain's foremost eco-control freak. 0.66

00:13:21.000 He's the environmentalist icon for a whole generation of deluded, ignorant leftists who think they're saving Mother Earth by picking up a copy of The Guardian and reading his article.

00:13:33.000 And what did Monbiot write in The Guardian in response to the Fukushima disaster? 0.60

00:13:38.000 He wrote a story entitled, Why Fukushima Made Me Stop Worrying and Love Nuclear Power.

00:13:46.000 And in this article he says that critics of the nuclear industry have quote, wildly exaggerated the dangers of radioactive pollution.

00:13:55.000 So this is a self-proclaimed environmentalist saying that radioactive pollution, which makes the soil infertile for 24,000 years, is nothing to worry about.

00:14:09.000 And that quote is gonna come back to haunt him in light of the fact that we now have Reactor 3 spewing this, uh, MOX uranium plutonium mix.

00:14:18.000 But here's another quote from the article.

00:14:21.000 As a result of the disaster at Fukushima, I am no longer nuclear neutral.

00:14:26.000 I now support the technology, writes Mombiot.

00:14:31.000 So God forbid should anyone point out the dangers of, you know, catastrophes that can devastate whole regions, make them environmentally inhabitable for decades, radiation that causes nearly a million people to get cancer in the case of Chernobyl, And fertility rates in Europe plunging through the floor as a result of the fallout.

00:14:53.000 No, according to Monbiot, the real threat is those smokestacks emitting the harmless life-giving gas CO2.

00:15:02.000 So I ask Monbiot, how many people have coal plants killed?

00:15:07.000 How many rivers and fields of coal plants turned into radioactive swamps as the regions around Chernobyl were in 1986?

00:15:18.000 And yet here's Mombiot, you know, lauding the virtues of nutritious plutonium, like Ann Coulter, and saying that we need more of it, if only to stop the construction of those dastardly clean-burning coal plants that, God forbid, should allow the scum human population to keep their evil automobiles fuelled without going bankrupt. 0.94

00:15:40.000 With the gas prices going through the roof because of oil.

00:15:44.000 Going up day by day with the Obama administration's publicly admitted war on the nuclear, sorry, the coal plant industry.

00:15:52.000 And of course the blackouts in recent months attributed to that in no small part. 0.63

00:16:00.000 So, George Monbiot has basically confirmed his position as the ultimate eco-hypocrite and proved once again that these people don't give a damn about real environmental catastrophes if they can't exploit them for their own control freak ends. 0.89

00:16:20.000 And you know, Monbiot is the same moron who claims that islands like Tuvulu are completely inhabited due to man-made climate change when You know, the real population in the case of Tavullo has doubled over the past three decades and yet you've got Mombiot and the likes of the UNIPCC claiming that they're completely deserted because the sea levels have overrun them. 0.97

00:16:44.000 Again, a total pack of lies. 0.94

00:16:49.000 When these people want to exploit something for their own agenda, it's a real environmental catastrophe, even if it's completely made up.

00:16:56.000 But when there actually is a real environmental catastrophe, like Fukushima, they're not interested.

00:17:03.000 And in fact, Monbiot is applauding it.

00:17:05.000 He's saying, we need more Fukushima plants.

00:17:08.000 We need more nutritious plutonium in the atmosphere.

00:17:15.000 But we're going to get into that more in the next hour with Chris Busby and I'm going to try and get him to address Monbiot's article in the Guardian because I think Busby was in fact on the Green Party in Britain so he probably knows quite a bit about Monbiot so I'm going to try and get his reaction to that.

00:17:35.000 But we need to move on now.

00:17:37.000 We'll get back into Fukushima and talk about the attack on Libya and the ongoing globalist agenda to hijack revolutions so they can re-engineer the entire Middle East. 0.82

00:17:49.000 And I want to take your calls on this also after the bottom of the hour, which we'll get to.

00:17:55.000 Because now, of course, they've managed to con the world into accepting the lie that they're attacking Libya to protect, quote, protesters.

00:18:07.000 Remember right at the start of this, the media called them protesters, which is funny because I can't really remember seeing too many protesters that drive tanks and fly fighter jets.

00:18:20.000 I don't know about you.

00:18:21.000 Not something I've seen quite often when there's a protest occurring.

00:18:27.000 And naturally, of course, it has nothing whatsoever to do with the claims of protecting the people from the Gaddafi reign of terror.

00:18:35.000 It's about supporting one side in a civil war.

00:18:40.000 And it's got nothing to do with a humanitarian intervention.

00:18:43.000 These are the same people that told us Q80 babies were being tossed out of incubators by Iraqi soldiers.

00:18:51.000 These are the same people that told us Bosnians were being incarcerated in Serbian Nazi-style concentration camps.

00:19:00.000 As we've proven, completely fraudulent, completely contrived, completely made up.

00:19:06.000 But they always need an emotional trigger, a selling point, on which to base the foundation of any, quote, humanitarian war.

00:19:17.000 But what's it really all about?

00:19:19.000 It's about keeping the taps open for this wave of hijacked revolutions in the Middle East to continue to flood the region. 0.85

00:19:27.000 And now we're seeing open calls for an attack on Syria.

00:19:32.000 And we'll get into that after the break on the Alex Jones Show, live at PrisonPlanet.tv.

00:19:36.000 Stay tuned.

00:19:38.000 Stay tuned.

00:19:56.000 People shake the very foundations of our nation.

00:19:58.000 We've told you about the video that details this shocking prediction.

00:20:01.000 So far, over 6 million people have watched this free video online.

00:20:05.000 Have you?

00:20:06.000 Again, this big event has nothing to do with war or the stock market, yet it could change everything about your normal way of life, the way you shop, travel, invest, educate your children, and even how you take care of your health and your family.

00:20:17.000 Could this really happen?

00:20:18.000 Well, the man who created this video has been right about many predictions in his career.

00:20:22.000 He was among the first to predict the collapse of GM, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and America's biggest mall owner, General Growth Properties.

00:20:28.000 In fact, Barron's called his work a dire prophecy.

00:20:31.000 If you haven't taken time to watch this free video, do it right now.

00:20:35.000 You may never think about America the same way again.

00:24:10.000 We're back on the Alex Jones Show, Friday, March 25th, 2011.

00:24:17.000 I'm Paul Joseph Watson, filling in for Alex today.

00:24:20.000 And in the second half of the broadcast, you'll be able to see Mike Adams, the editor of NaturalNews.com, in studio, going through the latest health news, and of course, taking your calls.

00:24:32.000 We'll also be taking your calls after the bottom of the hour at 800-259-9231.

00:24:38.000 That's 800-259-9231.

00:24:39.000 And of course, at the top of the hour, I'll be joined by Dr. Chris Busby, nuclear and radiation expert, to talk about the deepening crisis in Fukushima.

00:24:54.000 If the globalists can't get this domino to drop in Libya, it's going to be a lot harder for them to overthrow the next Middle Eastern country.

00:25:05.000 And now we know, of course, who the next target of this regime change will be.

00:25:10.000 And it's Syria.

00:25:11.000 US Defence Secretary Robert Gates, who, remember, days before the bombardment of Libya,

00:25:17.000 was caught joking about the plan to attack the country on camera has now made it clear that Assad is the next target for the US military-industrial complex and of course as we know Syria has been one of the primary targets for regime change on behalf of the PNAC neocons for over a decade and now they're getting ready to exploit this wave of hijacked revolutions as their prime opportunity.

00:25:47.000 Financial Times reports today, Gates calls for Syrian forces to move aside.

00:25:53.000 Syria should follow Egypt's lead and the Syrian army should, quote, empower a revolution, Robert Gates, U.S.

00:26:00.000 Secretary of Defense, argued, as thousands marched in a southern city.

00:26:05.000 Mr. Gates made his comments some of the toughest remarks to date by a U.S.

00:26:09.000 official about the rule of Bashar al-Assad, Syria's president, on a day of further upheaval in the Middle East and Beyond.

00:26:17.000 So now we've got the U.S.

00:26:19.000 Defense, that's Defense Secretary, calling for a revolution in a Middle Eastern country.

00:26:27.000 Now, if you care to scratch one inch under the surface, just as happened with Egypt, the kind of people behind this latest faux revolution are the very same characters we saw getting rid of Mubarak there in Egypt.

00:26:44.000 And we've got an article posted on PrisonPlanet.com today.

00:26:48.000 by Tony Carthalucci, which goes through this in detail.

00:26:52.000 And he writes, a prominent Syrian opposition figure says the country is, quote, a bomb ready to explode as protesters demand freedom and an end to President Bashir al-Assad's cancerous regime, reports Australia's ABC News.

00:27:07.000 This prominent Syrian opposition figure is, quote, human rights activist Haitham Mali of the Human Rights Association of Syria.

00:27:16.000 ...recently released from a Syrian prison.

00:27:19.000 Haitham Malleh and Mohammed al-Hassani, another activist whose plight is being used to stir up unrest, both received pro bono legal services from the CFR-stacked Freedom Now organization.

00:27:32.000 Freedom Now receives funding from the Mariah Fund, the Lantos Foundation, which includes Israeli President Shimon Peres, as an advisor.

00:27:42.000 Real Networks Foundation, which also funds Democracy Now!, and the Charles Bronfman Prize, which proclaims on its website, quote, Jewish values, global impact.

00:27:53.000 Freedom Now!

00:27:53.000 also receives pro bono legal support from the Pillsbury law firm, a CFR corporate member.

00:28:00.000 So once again, just as with Egypt, we see these Soros and Brzezinski and CFR-linked globalist foundations behind the so-called revolutionaries.

00:28:12.000 As Cartalucci writes, once again we see an entire movement fermented and propelled by Western-backed opposition in tandem with a corporate-owned media.

00:28:22.000 This is all part of the now irrefutable larger plot consuming the Middle East and Northern Africa. 0.95

00:28:28.000 And speaking of Northern Africa, take Egypt for example.

00:28:34.000 I mean, to suggest that there's been a revolution in Egypt is beyond comprehension.

00:28:39.000 There's been no revolution whatsoever.

00:28:41.000 You've got two presidential candidates waiting to take over, one of which is this Arab League yes-man, and the other of which is the ultimate globalist stooge linked with Brzezinski and Soros, ElBaradei.

00:28:57.000 Meanwhile, the same army that backed Mubarak is still exercising ruthless control over the population with an iron fist.

00:29:06.000 Where's the revolution?

00:29:08.000 The post-revolution administration in Egypt that, you know, the globalists and the mass media are so enamored with, and they're upholding it as this glorious example for democracy in the rest of the Middle East, have just passed a law that makes protest illegal!

00:29:24.000 And now they're beating and raping women protesters Abu Ghraib style!

00:29:28.000 And the globalists and the mass media love it because that's how they roll. 0.69

00:29:32.000 We'll be back after the break to talk more about it on the Alex Jones Show.

00:29:39.000 We're on the march, the empire's on the run.

00:29:42.000 Alex Jones and the GCN Radio Network.

00:29:50.000 Alex has told you that the Mideast uprisings over food prices and shortages caused by fuel costs are spreading worldwide.

00:29:57.000 We're seeing the impact right here in the United States.

00:29:59.000 Ethanol, that was supposed to reduce petroleum use and fuel prices, hit a 30-month high in February, and pump prices are expected to reach $5 a gallon.

00:30:09.000 Because of shipping costs, food is being priced out of the reach of millions of Americans, with an expected 35% jump in the next 60 days.

00:30:54.000 The grim future foretold in 1984 has become reality.

00:30:57.000 It really says that the state is God.

00:31:00.000 The United States is now recognized globally as one of the most oppressive police states on Earth.

00:31:06.000 This film conclusively proves the existence of a secret network of FEMA camps, now being expanded nationwide.

00:31:12.000 This documentary exposes how the continuity of government program has established an all-powerful shadow state.

00:31:18.000 Police State 4 chronicles the sickening depth to which our republic has fallen.

00:31:22.000 Prepare to enter the secretive world of emergency dictatorship.

00:31:27.000 Body scanners, sound cannons, citizen spies, stage terror and cameras on every street corner.

00:31:33.000 It's only the beginning of the New World Order's hellish plan. 0.92

00:31:36.000 The police state isn't coming.

00:31:38.000 It's here.

00:32:43.000 Diamond gusset jeans got it.

00:32:45.000 others don't we're back on the alex jones show with me paul joseph watts and so

00:33:12.000 So, the wonderful post-revolutionary administration in Egypt has just passed a law banning protest.

00:33:20.000 The army in Egypt, who are now in control, were just caught raping and torturing female Egyptians who were involved in the protest to oust Mubarak, and we're talking about stuff worse than Abu Ghraib.

00:33:34.000 You know, beatings, torture, rape of the very activists who were at the forefront of the protest who oust Mubarak over his so-called brutality.

00:33:45.000 Now they're getting a taste of something a lot worse.

00:33:48.000 So, it's perfectly understandable why the US military-industrial complex and the media-industrial complex He's completely in love with this post-Egypt revolutionary government.

00:34:01.000 I mean, protest is illegal. 0.94

00:34:03.000 Anyone that protests is tortured and raped.

00:34:06.000 And, you know, it's very democratic, and it's surely a great example for the rest of the Middle East to follow.

00:34:12.000 And so, then we turn to Libya.

00:34:15.000 Contrary to the propaganda that, you know, people everywhere are rejoicing and welcoming the airstrikes with glee, we've got Muslims in Sri Lanka today rioting and stamping on effigies of Obama to protest against this attack, which of course was sold on the foundation of three massive lies. 0.93

00:34:36.000 A. The no-fly zone.

00:34:38.000 I mean, if you've ever heard a more Orwellian term, then Be sure to tell me about it because, you know, Orwell's literally rolling at his grave as we speak.

00:34:49.000 No-fly zone.

00:34:50.000 It means you can't fly over the country unless you're in a French, British or American fighter jet dropping bombs on the country.

00:34:57.000 So, you know, just a no-fly zone.

00:35:00.000 And of course all the Liberals applauded it with glee.

00:35:03.000 No-fly zone.

00:35:04.000 You know, very democratic, very humanitarian.

00:35:07.000 Of course, nothing more than a euphemism for an aggressive bombing campaign that's now into its sixth, seventh day.

00:35:16.000 The second lie, the great lie on which this war was sold, that there would be no boots on the ground.

00:35:23.000 That's what the UN resolution said.

00:35:25.000 No invasion force.

00:35:27.000 When it's documented that SAS and US Special Forces were in the country weeks before the resolution.

00:35:35.000 And look at this headline from today's Daily Mail.

00:35:37.000 350 British special forces already deep inside Libya and more are ready to be deployed.

00:35:45.000 Squadron of SAS and SBS troops have been in the country for a month.

00:35:50.000 Ah!

00:35:51.000 Oh, have they now?

00:35:52.000 That'll be before the actual resolution for a no-fly zone with no boots on the ground was passed.

00:36:00.000 Hundreds of British troops have been deployed inside Libya targeting Colonel Gaddafi's forces.

00:36:05.000 Oh, really?

00:36:06.000 I thought it was to protect the protesters.

00:36:08.000 And more are on standby.

00:36:10.000 While Chancellor George Osborne repeated that UK ground troops would not be involved, the Daily Mail can reveal there are an estimated 350 already mounting covert operations.

00:36:23.000 So...

00:36:25.000 No boots on the ground turns out to be another pack of lies.

00:36:29.000 Could you have anticipated it?

00:36:32.000 Um, you know, but I'm sure those SAS boys who were there a month ago are just there to protect the protesters in their tanks and fighter jets.

00:36:43.000 And the third massive lie on which this, quote, humanitarian war was based is that, the claim that it was a humanitarian mission.

00:36:52.000 That's why they sent hundreds of troops in a month ago, whose training solely revolves around killing people and training others to kill people.

00:37:03.000 But I forgot, again, they're just protesters.

00:37:05.000 Right, just gotta get that into my head.

00:37:09.000 And so if it's just a humanitarian mission, why were 350 SAS troops on the ground a month ago?

00:37:17.000 And now we have this headline out of Sky News.

00:37:20.000 US may supply Gaddafi rebels with weapons.

00:37:23.000 Western diplomatic sources have confirmed to Sky News that the US is considering the legality of arming the Libyan rebels.

00:37:32.000 Now of course, Again, around a month ago, at the same time as those SAS troops were going in, in Bloomberg News, Hillary Clinton basically admitted that they were already arming the Libyan rebels, not protesters.

00:37:48.000 We featured an article earlier this week from Tony Cartolucci about how they were already arming the rebels through Egypt.

00:37:56.000 So again, everything that they prepare the public to accept, they're already doing it.

00:38:02.000 SAS troops have already been there for a month.

00:38:05.000 They've already been arming the rebels.

00:38:08.000 Why do you think they've got, you know, car boots full of rocket-propelled grenade launchers?

00:38:14.000 They're already being armed.

00:38:16.000 But again, they're just protesters, just protecting the people.

00:38:21.000 Now, of course, We have the same groups in Libya at the moment working against Gaddafi.

00:38:28.000 And again, Gaddafi's a monster, but compared to what these people are gonna get, you ain't seen nothing yet.

00:38:34.000 And of course, they're the same people who worked with Osama bin Laden to try and assassinate Gaddafi in 1996.

00:38:42.000 Paid for, of course, by the CIA and MI6.

00:38:46.000 $100,000 wire to bin Laden and al-Qaeda to help them get rid of Gaddafi 15 years ago.

00:38:53.000 And now these groups that help them do that are the same forces who want to impose draconian Sharia law in Libya.

00:39:03.000 So we have the rampant hypocrisy of both the left and the right amongst those who support this war.

00:39:09.000 On the right you have people supporting the airstrikes who just a few months ago were screaming bloody murder at Muslims trying to build a mosque in Ground Zero in New York. 0.85

00:39:21.000 When the people that they now support through their support of these airstrikes Are the very people who want to impose a draconian extremist Muslim dictatorship in Libya. 0.97

00:39:33.000 So all those so-called conservative right-wingers who love this war, they're actually supporting the radical Al-Qaeda Muslims, which is why the Libyan Al-Qaeda leader has come out over a week ago 0.66

00:39:46.000 And gave his complete approval for the airstrikes, said he wants to get rid of Gaddafi, which is why you had the London Telegraph article headlined, the West and Al-Qaeda on the same side, just as they were on the same side with Bill Clinton in Serbia, and just as they were on the same side when MI6 and CIA paid Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda $100,000.

00:40:10.000 to assassinate Gaddafi in 1996.

00:40:13.000 Now they're giving it another go as part of this effort to continue the domination of the Middle East via these regime changes which are nothing more than aggressive coup d'etats sold as humanitarian lies.

00:40:31.000 And then on the flip side, you've got the left, who are, you know, bought the humanitarian pretext, hook, line and sinker, completely ignorant of the fact that when these rebels do come to power, if they do, they're going to impose a doctrine that will ensure total persecution of women and all minorities in the country.

00:40:53.000 And it's basically going to make Gaddafi look like Nelson Mandela in comparison.

00:40:59.000 And yet all these, you know, liberal humanitarians are graciously applauding it.

00:41:04.000 And again, the globalists will love it because that's how they roll.

00:41:07.000 They like to prop up extremist regimes and install them so they can later have the excuse to overthrow them, just as what we saw in Iran.

00:41:18.000 And again, the likes of the BBC and the mass media will applaud and cheer at the liberation of Libyans while they, like the Egyptians are now being subjected to, are basically completely enslaved as their country becomes nothing more than an oil fiefdom for the New World Order. 0.79

00:41:38.000 And again, Israel this week bombed Gaza, injured dozens and killed children.

00:41:46.000 We don't see any calls for a humanitarian intervention there, do we?

00:41:50.000 The Predator drone strikes that Barack Obama has aggressively increased after he replaced Bush kill 90% innocent people according to the Brookings Institute.

00:42:02.000 And yet, we don't see any humanitarian concern surrounding that situation, do we? 0.94

00:42:09.000 So again, Complete bluster, complete hypocrisy. 0.89

00:42:14.000 Again, another war in the Middle East based on lies. 0.96

00:42:17.000 It's about arming and supporting one side in a civil war.

00:42:21.000 Has absolutely nothing to do with humanitarianism.

00:42:25.000 I'm gonna go to some of your calls now and the first caller is Mike in New York.

00:42:30.000 Go ahead Mike, you're on the air.

00:42:32.000 Yes, hello.

00:42:33.000 I'm an Info Warrior and I'm gonna contribute to the Info War right now.

00:42:37.000 Everybody needs to go to republicsfortheunitedstates.org.

00:42:41.000 You're gonna see that before the Civil War, you had the South walk out of Congress.

00:42:47.000 When Lincoln came back, he could not get a quorum together, okay?

00:42:51.000 In 1871, the United States Corporation was created.

00:42:53.000 They were given jurisdiction only in Washington, D.C.

00:42:57.000 I want everybody, please, and you, Paul, please, look at this information, comment on it, and maybe write an article on it.

00:43:03.000 It is very important.

00:43:04.000 Okay, thanks for the call.

00:43:05.000 Gator in North Carolina, you're on the air, Gator.

00:43:09.000 Hey, good afternoon, how are you?

00:43:11.000 Good, thanks.

00:43:12.000 What's on your mind today?

00:43:14.000 Yeah, I just want to call and share with you, I'm a veteran of the U.S.

00:43:16.000 Army and the United States Marine Corps, and I just, uh, I've been speaking a lot with sheriffs in the counties surrounding the area.

00:43:24.000 I live here in North Carolina and I travel a lot.

00:43:26.000 I'm a member of the media and I travel and fly extensively and I started the Speedos protest at PSA some months ago and have yet, thank God, to go through a full body scanner or to receive a pat down.

00:43:38.000 But I'm constantly in talk with military people and Law enforcement of all ranks and sizes all over the country as I go about my business and a couple of things that brought in some good clarification for me I'd like to share with you and everybody else is, you know, there's a lot of people under the illusion that the military and law enforcement, that there's going to be a mass amount of people that will side with freedom and liberty and truth when push comes to shove.

00:44:05.000 And I just wanted to dispel that illusion.

00:44:08.000 A conversation I had two days ago with the second in command at Camp Lejeune, And North Carolina?

00:44:15.000 I called him in regards to the report of the Marines being sent out to Libya, and I asked him about that, and I asked him from a Universal Code of Military Justice standpoint, which requires Marines to stand down against illegal orders.

00:44:28.000 And I was asking him, how could he, in good conscience, having sworn to defend the Constitution, send troops to Libya, which is obviously an illegal order, Being that, you know, Obama, of course, bypassed Congress and went and had a unilateral attack on Libya under the auspices of the United Nations.

00:44:44.000 And Sergeant Major refused at all to even mention the word U.S.

00:44:49.000 Constitution.

00:44:50.000 He refused to engage me in any kind of intelligent conversation.

00:44:54.000 He just said that, look, I've got a commander in chief.

00:44:57.000 I do whatever the commander in chief says. 0.98

00:45:00.000 I told him he was a traitor and a coward, and he was a domestic enemy of the Constitution by failing to uphold his duties as a Marine and resist illegal orders. 0.69

00:45:08.000 And I just wanted to leave you with that, and I spoke to another recruit just out of Basic. 0.92

00:45:13.000 I handed him a copy of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and he said that he's never read it in his life, and that, of course, they no longer teach the Constitution in any shape, form, or fashion in the military, but I appreciate you giving me time.

00:45:26.000 OK, thanks for the call.

00:45:28.000 Yeah, exactly, and I mean, that's precisely what leads to the disturbing and grisly photos that came out this week of these US kill teams in Afghanistan that just go out and murder kids and then pose with them as trophies.

00:45:42.000 I mean, what kind of training are they being given that leads to that kind of behaviour?

00:45:48.000 And as he said, now we've got talk of marines out of Camp Lejeune going out to Libya to support the rebels in the civil war.

00:45:57.000 Again, no authorisation by Congress, Ron Paul's pointed that out.

00:46:01.000 And not only that, it will be a direct violation of their own UN resolution, which said no boots on the ground, you know, no occupying forces, even though as I just Explained.

00:46:13.000 The SAS has been there for a month.

00:46:15.000 And now we have this article out of WCTI.

00:46:18.000 Camp Lejeune Marines to Libya to strike at Qadhafi forces.

00:46:22.000 We've seen Camp Lejeune Marines in Iraq and Afghanistan and now they are joining the fight against Libya! 0.99

00:46:29.000 Okay, I thought it was a no-fly zone.

00:46:31.000 Now it's a fight against Libya. 0.96

00:46:32.000 Okay.

00:46:33.000 About 2,200 Marines from the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit will take part in support operations based aboard USS Keosarge at sea.

00:46:43.000 Those support operations have thus far included airstrikes and one rescue operation.

00:46:47.000 The overall mission is to help...

00:46:49.000 End the violence directed at the Libyan people, okay?

00:46:53.000 That'll be why when the US fighter jet crash-landed in that field that the first thing that the US chopper did was shoot at six of the civilians who were trying to, you know, help the pilot.

00:47:06.000 So they're really, really interested in stopping the violence against the Libyan people there.

00:47:12.000 Well, in Libya right now, they're doing exactly what we need them to do. 0.98

00:47:15.000 They are doing what they are told.

00:47:18.000 And right now, that's protecting Libyan people against Qadhafi forces.

00:47:21.000 So again...

00:47:23.000 As the caller said, they're just doing what they're told, despite the fact that it is a complete violation of the Constitution that they swore an oath on to protect and defend. 1.00

00:47:32.000 And it's even a violation of their own stupid, ridiculous, pointless UN resolution. 0.99

00:47:39.000 Linda in California, you're on the air. 1.00

00:47:41.000 Go ahead, Linda.

00:47:45.000 The reason that they're doing... This is an economic crisis they've been telling us about.

00:47:50.000 And so the Constitution does it no good, because an economic crisis is driven by Parkinson's Law, which is to increase jobs.

00:48:00.000 And a Constitution may work when an economy is really doing well, and can afford to enforce it once in a while, and even then it's great.

00:48:09.000 Squeeze funds.

00:48:10.000 Unless there's other reasons... Okay, you've got a bad line there, we'll have to move on.

00:48:14.000 Horseskin in Texas, go ahead.

00:48:19.000 Thank you, sir.

00:48:20.000 The death industry worldwide is not only is Israel bombing Gaza to kill Palestinian babies, continually ignored by our lockstep media, but right here, well over 50% of all black babies conceived in the United States are murdered in the womb last year, as we all know, who listen to Alex Jones, and ageism against the youngest and the oldest among us is the most insipid stench of bigotry in my mind.

00:48:47.000 The unborn are not even recognized for their humanity. 0.99

00:48:50.000 They are instead torn to bits, chemically dissolved, or used in some bizarre experiment to supposedly somehow serve the interests of us, the adults!

00:48:58.000 Now these non-productive consumers, old and disabled, are nightmarishly discarded like yesterday's newspaper and any and all forms of socialized medicine in the Sotero Health Scam. 1.00

00:49:08.000 And that's right, cost savings from death.

00:49:10.000 It's the common theme throughout the slimy Sotero death scare spasm. 1.00

00:49:15.000 And, you know, Kenyan-born, Indonesian-subject, illegal, alien, thus ineligible, so-called President, so-called Barack Obama, i.e. 0.69

00:49:21.000 Barristero, is a stooge. 0.94

00:49:23.000 A stooge for the evil banking cartel of killers that greedily rules our world through the so-called Federal Reserve and the IMF, etc.

00:49:33.000 So, I'm just urging people to learn more by visiting ronpaul.org or, of course, here at Infowars.com.

00:49:43.000 And so there's a lots of sources of really good information out there.

00:49:47.000 And thanks to you, you're always doing a great job.

00:49:50.000 I really appreciate your professionalism and great ideas, sir.

00:49:54.000 And, uh, I'm really happy to be able to share some ideas about this death spasm that we're going through here in this country.

00:50:01.000 We're so angry at supposedly the, uh, Uh, you know, and Qaddafi or whomever for whatever minimal death that might come from his world. 0.83

00:50:10.000 But we're, we have an industry here.

00:50:12.000 We're doing it all day, every day.

00:50:14.000 And in fact, here in Austin, Texas, it's not only the live music capital of the known universe, it's the...

00:50:20.000 Okay, thanks for the call.

00:50:22.000 I've got to go to the break now.

00:54:04.000 Friday, March 25th, it's the Alex Jones Show Live. 0.97

00:54:08.000 I'm filling in for Alex today.

00:54:10.000 Paul Joseph Watson in the second half of the broadcast.

00:54:13.000 It will be Mike Adams, the editor of naturalnews.com.

00:54:17.000 And any of your calls that I don't get to, Mike will be taking them in the second half of the show, of course, because we've got Dr. Christopher Busby coming up in the next segment, talk about Fukushima.

00:54:30.000 George in Connecticut, you're on the air Go ahead, George.

00:54:32.000 I'm going to talk to Busby, or is this going to be passed on?

00:54:37.000 Because he was on another radio station and talked about the possibility that there were upwards to a million deaths from Chernobyl alone over the decades.

00:54:49.000 And I think he had problems with the translation of the Russian material.

00:54:54.000 That's one of the reasons why the numbers are not fully compiled.

00:54:57.000 But also I think this should be also translated into Japanese if there's anybody out there to help out on that too, so that they're aware of what's going on.

00:55:06.000 Yeah, that's something that I'm going to ask Busby about, because regarding Chernobyl, of course, the UN figures and the World Health Organization figures, actually there was a UN report in 2005 that claimed that there were no birth defects as a result of Chernobyl in the Ukraine.

00:55:26.000 And the UN and WHO figures have routinely underplayed the cancer deaths as a result of Chernobyl.

00:55:33.000 They say that 200,000 were sickened by Chernobyl and that only 9,000 died of cancer.

00:55:39.000 But as you mentioned, the latest research carried out by the Russian Environmental Policy, which was published by the New York Academy of Sciences,

00:55:50.000 Has all this evidence which has not been translated into English and it clearly indicates that there have been almost a million cancer deaths in the past 25 years as a direct result of Chernobyl and that's something that I'm gonna ask Dr Busby about directly and get his take on that because we know that the radiation levels in the surrounding prefectures at Fukushima are basically being covered up by the authorities.

00:56:16.000 Now we've got this leak in reactor 3 with the plutonium Yes, go ahead.

00:56:21.000 mix, and the crisis is only getting worse, but the Geiger counters and the radiation detectors being used by the EPA are just not going to pick this stuff up.

00:56:32.000 So that's something that we're going to explore further in the next hour.

00:56:37.000 Mohammed in Canada, you're on the air.

00:56:39.000 Go ahead.

00:56:39.000 Hello?

00:56:41.000 Yes, go ahead.

00:56:43.000 You hear me alright?

00:56:44.000 Yeah, what's in your mind today?

00:56:47.000 I'm calling.

00:56:48.000 I'm just talking about I was going back to what you were talking about, Libya.

00:56:52.000 I think the media has created the paradigm, they created discussion, and I think everybody's eating it up, and I think we need to look beyond...

00:56:59.000 They're playing the same game, we just gotta look beyond the language they're using, beyond no flies on us.

00:57:06.000 We can't just take it for what they're giving it to us.

00:57:09.000 We gotta look deeper as citizens into what is really going on, if we actually do care about what's going on in our world today.

00:57:17.000 Well, exactly.

00:57:18.000 Most people initially bought the lie that it was just an old fly zone.

00:57:23.000 They soon became acquainted with what it really was.

00:57:27.000 Six constant nights of bombardment.

00:57:31.000 But, of course, it's all to protect the protesters that have RPGs, tanks and fighter jets.

00:57:36.000 They're just protecting the people there.

00:57:38.000 Thanks for the call.

00:57:39.000 Patrick in Kansas, go ahead, you're on the air.

00:57:43.000 Hey Paul, I'm calling and wanting to know about information about the big pharma side of the globalists.

00:57:55.000 And I watched this documentary on I'll tell you what, you'd be better off talking to Mike Adams because he is, of course, the health ranger and the expert on all matters Big Pharma.

00:58:09.000 So I'm sure if you call back in when Mike is on, you'll be able to discuss that with him.

00:58:14.000 But coming up after the break, we've got nuclear and radiation expert Dr. Christopher Busby on the deepening crisis in Fukushima.

00:58:21.000 It's the Alex Jones Show Live.

00:58:22.000 Stay tuned.

00:58:23.000 Don't go away.

00:58:24.000 This is GCN, the Genesis Communications Radio Network. .

00:58:38.000 This is Alex Jones with five good reasons you should consider buying a solar power generator.

00:58:43.000 Number one.

00:58:44.000 New climate legislation could easily double or triple your electric bill.

00:58:47.000 Number two.

00:58:48.000 Our new energy czar wants to control how much power your electric company allows you to have.

00:58:53.000 It's true.

00:58:54.000 Total government control of electricity in the name of smart grid technology is coming.

00:58:59.000 Number three.

00:58:59.000 In some areas of the country, the power grid is dangerously overloaded.

00:59:03.000 And now, new socialist legislation is only compounding the problem.

00:59:07.000 Number 4.

00:59:08.000 Dangerous weather is always a threat to local grids.

00:59:11.000 Every year, thousands of families lose their power from weather-related outages.

00:59:14.000 Number 5.

00:59:15.000 A solar power generator provides powerful backup, insurance, and peace of mind.

00:59:19.000 Folks, I really believe in the solar power generators offered by Solutions from Science, one of my oldest sponsors.

00:59:24.000 You can get more information at www.mysolarbackup.com.

00:59:28.000 That's mysolarbackup.com.

00:59:47.000 Big Brother.

00:59:54.000 Mainstream media.

00:59:55.000 Government cover-ups.

00:59:58.000 You want answers?

01:00:00.000 Well, so does he.

01:00:01.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

01:00:05.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.

01:00:12.000 Friday, March 25th, 2011.

01:00:14.000 It's Paul Joseph Watson filling in for Alex Jones today.

01:00:20.000 And in the second half of the broadcast, the editor of NaturalNews.com, Mike Adams, will be taking your calls.

01:00:27.000 But for the next half an hour, I'm delighted to be joined by Dr. Christopher Busby, who is one of the preeminent experts on nuclear fallout and radiation.

01:00:37.000 He was the Scientific Secretary of the European Committee on Radiation Risks.

01:00:42.000 And has held numerous influential positions in this field and of course in the aftermath of Fukushima his expertise has been very much in demand with Busby appearing on the BBC and numerous other TV and radio shows.

01:00:59.000 Dr Busby, welcome to the show today.

01:01:04.000 Hello, good to speak to you.

01:01:05.000 And let's get straight into it because of course, massive news on Fukushima today.

01:01:12.000 Japanese authorities admitting that reactor number three, which is the reactor that contains this MOX plutonium-uranium mix, ...has been breached and is now leaking water at radiation levels 10,000 times above the level of normal reactor water.

01:01:30.000 Now, according to my understanding, Dr Busby, these plutonium particles can't even be measured with the standard equipment they're using to provide the background radiation levels which people in Fukushima and surrounding areas are going by.

01:01:46.000 So...

01:01:48.000 How much does this new breach, this new crack in reactor number three represent a deepening of the crisis at Fukushima?

01:01:57.000 Well, I think, personally, that this is not something new.

01:02:02.000 What is new is that they've admitted it.

01:02:03.000 I mean, it's not as if they came along one morning and said, oh, look, there's a crack in the reactor.

01:02:08.000 Gosh, I didn't see that before.

01:02:10.000 Yeah, I wonder what happened.

01:02:11.000 Must be the mice. 0.90

01:02:12.000 I mean, this must have happened when the thing exploded ages ago.

01:02:16.000 So it's quite clear that this is just the famous Chernobyl, that what happens is that they let the information out slowly for whatever reason, and eventually they have to concede that there are these massive problems.

01:02:28.000 Yes, well the answer is it's a nightmare, the whole thing is a nightmare, but it was quite clear that it was a nightmare to those of us who understood these things more or less from the beginning.

01:02:36.000 And you're quite right, these plutonium particles are extremely serious.

01:02:41.000 and also uranium particles, I have to say.

01:02:43.000 And they can't be measured easily with Veiger counters.

01:02:47.000 They're not detectable.

01:02:48.000 You need a special sort of scintillation counter to detect them.

01:02:51.000 And I expect they have these.

01:02:53.000 But when they say that the dose rate is so many micro sieverts per hour, it doesn't really include the doses from these particles.

01:03:03.000 And, of course, in any case, these doses from the particles are internal doses, so you can't really measure them.

01:03:08.000 You can only find out afterwards that there's been a problem.

01:03:11.000 Mm-hmm.

01:03:12.000 And that's basically what my next question was.

01:03:16.000 Regarding the explosion, we saw this massive explosion affect reactor number three nearly two weeks ago, now on March 14th, with this huge orange fireball and this debris shooting up hundreds of feet into the air.

01:03:31.000 And for two weeks they told us that the containment facility was undamaged, and yet now this morning they suddenly announced Well, yes, it is cracked, and it is leaking, so, um, you're saying that they probably knew it was cracked two weeks ago, nearly, after that explosion, and that they've just been covering up the site?

01:03:50.000 I think they could have figured that out quite easily.

01:03:53.000 And I have to say that not only not telling the people but also all of the pundits that come on to the radio programs that are wheeled out by the nuclear industry and their supporters, all those people who say there's no problem, don't worry, it's the same as going on a flight to New York and all of this stuff.

01:04:12.000 Those people are criminally irresponsible because people could have got away, you know, they could have taken some sort of measures to reduce their radiation exposure if they'd have thought that these things were dangerous.

01:04:24.000 But to leave it two weeks and then say, oh well, it's much worse than we thought, means that people will certainly die as a result of this kind of disinformation.

01:04:33.000 And I have to say that in a court of law, that kind of disinformation from an expert Okay, stay there, we'll be back after the break with Dr. Christopher Busby on the unfolding Fukushima crisis.

01:08:02.000 Paul Joseph Watson filling in for Alex today on this Friday 25th of March edition.

01:08:08.000 We're talking to nuclear expert Dr. Christopher Busby about the unfolding crisis in Fukushima.

01:08:16.000 Doctor, we had a call in the last hour who basically wanted to know something that I already planned to ask you.

01:08:23.000 Which is, we've got these comparisons constantly being made to Fukushima with Chernobyl.

01:08:29.000 And I'm interested in knowing where you place Chernobyl in terms of the scale of the disaster that occurred in 1986, and of course it's aftermath, in comparison with Fukushima.

01:08:42.000 Because we've had differing reports.

01:08:44.000 We had a UN report in 2005 that basically poo-pooed any idea of birth and reproductive effects in the victims of Chernobyl in Ukraine.

01:08:55.000 And then we've had consistent numbers from the UN and the WHO which say that Chernobyl only caused 9,000 cancer deaths in the region affected, which of course completely contradicts more recent studies such as this Center for Russian and Environmental Policy study, which was published by the New York Academy of Sciences, which gives a figure of almost a million cancer deaths

01:09:22.000 In the last 25 years as a direct result of Chernobyl.

01:09:26.000 So, I mean, where do you place Chernobyl in terms of disaster in comparison to Fukushima?

01:09:32.000 Okay, well, there are two questions really there.

01:09:34.000 The first is, was Chernobyl a disaster and how many people have died as a result of it?

01:09:40.000 And the second is, how does Fukushima compare to Chernobyl?

01:09:44.000 Well, we start with the first one, which is the Chernobyl. 0.56

01:09:48.000 The million deaths that have been put out by Alexey Yablokov and his colleagues in that document that you...

01:09:57.000 That you mention, which was published by the prestigious New York Academy of Sciences and has been peer-reviewed, is almost certainly correct.

01:10:05.000 And in fact, I think it's probably conservative.

01:10:08.000 I would say that on the basis of the research I've done, which is quite a lot of research, and I have been working with Alexey Yablokov on this too, I would say that there's probably more than a million as a result of Chernobyl.

01:10:22.000 In Europe and in the ex-Soviet Union territories.

01:10:28.000 So that's the first thing.

01:10:29.000 And it's easy to show that.

01:10:30.000 There are lots and lots of peer-reviewed papers.

01:10:33.000 Now, when the United Nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency and the WHO talk, they ignore all of the scientific papers which show that there are these deaths.

01:10:43.000 So they just select the numbers of scientific papers, the ones that agree with them, and they ignore all the others.

01:10:50.000 So that's how it works.

01:10:51.000 And the WHO, I have to say, signed an agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency in 1959 to leave research on the health effects of radionuclides to the IAEA, whose remit is the development of nuclear power.

01:11:05.000 So this is a terrible bias.

01:11:07.000 Now, the second question.

01:11:09.000 So, right, so Chernobyl was very serious, and it caused lots of deaths.

01:11:14.000 Second question is where does Fukushima lie in this?

01:11:16.000 Now I have to say that Fukushima is probably going to be worse, although slightly different.

01:11:20.000 And Fukushima is unfolding now, so we don't know the end of it.

01:11:23.000 But the IAEA themselves, who are not renowned for telling the truth or for...

01:11:30.000 I'm being very direct about this.

01:11:31.000 I've already published in the various bulletins the levels of contamination at different distances from the Fukushima plant.

01:11:38.000 It's all on the internet.

01:11:39.000 You can see all this.

01:11:41.000 And the latest bulletin, which was published today, says that the concentration on the ground, the contamination on the ground out to 32 kilometers has been measured at almost 5 megabecquerels per square meter.

01:11:56.000 Now, that is actually 10 times higher than the Chernobyl exclusion zone.

01:12:01.000 So that's the first thing you have to say is that out to 30 kilometers, and the Chernobyl exclusion zone is 30 kilometers, so they're strictly comparable.

01:12:09.000 The Fukushima contamination is 10 times higher per square meter.

01:12:13.000 So that's the first thing.

01:12:14.000 The second thing is that the contamination out to 78 km, also published by the UN, is 1 Mbq per square meter, or as high as, and so that is twice as high as the level in the Chernobyl exclusion zone, where everybody was, you will recall, where the Soviet authorities after three days evacuated everybody.

01:12:35.000 Now we are now two weeks from the beginning of this and people certainly have been evacuated in the areas where the contamination is coming down.

01:12:45.000 And the reason why is because there are just too many people and there's nowhere to put them.

01:12:49.000 So with Chernobyl, the nearest large area of the nearest large city was Kyiv in the Ukraine.

01:12:58.000 But luckily, the radiation went north and it went northwest, and so it didn't really go over Kiev to any large extent.

01:13:05.000 But here we have radiation going south, and we plotted all of this on the big computer of the NOAA, the American computer which plots particle movements.

01:13:17.000 And it's quite easy to show that this stuff from Fukushima, this radioactivity from Fukushima, all these particles and the iodine and the cesium and the plutonium and the uranium, and the tellurium 132 and all of these isotopes are going to Tokyo, which has a population of 36 million.

01:13:32.000 As I understand it, it's the largest concentration of human beings in any city on Earth.

01:13:38.000 So this is why Fukushima is so bad.

01:13:40.000 First of all, there's more contamination in the area, and secondly, it's sitting right on top of a very large population center.

01:13:49.000 And also, you know, of course it'll get spread around as people move away, as they drive out of the area, as the aeroplanes fly away from Tokyo and land in other countries.

01:13:59.000 People will be carrying the radioactivity with them.

01:14:03.000 Worse, then, is the short answer.

01:14:06.000 That's quite harrowing to hear, but still on Chernobyl, I mean, in the days following Chernobyl, children in Belarus were told that, you know, splashing around in puddles of yellow rain was perfectly harmless because it was merely pollen.

01:14:23.000 When in reality, as we later learned, it was in fact radioactive dust.

01:14:28.000 With people in Tokyo now reporting yellow rain and this yellowy substance on the ground, are they right to trust Japanese government assurances that this yellow substance is merely pollen?

01:14:40.000 I wouldn't trust anything that the authorities said on this issue.

01:14:44.000 They've consistently lied.

01:14:46.000 They've consistently downplayed the problem and they continue to do so.

01:14:50.000 And when it comes to the nuclear industry, they seem to be able to cast some kind of spell.

01:14:55.000 spell over human beings. 0.96

01:14:58.000 They say all these things and they say this is safe and this is the same as flying to America or this is the same as eating Brazil nuts.

01:15:07.000 All these inappropriate comparisons and in fact also inappropriate comparisons with natural background radiation.

01:15:14.000 They will say this is the same as a chest X-ray, this is the same as a dose that you would get in a year.

01:15:20.000 These are all external radiation measurements and they're not comparable to internal radiation of the type that would cause the yellow puddles or actually, you know, at least you can see the yellow puddles.

01:15:31.000 I mean, the type that is floating about in the air and is completely invisible because people don't have eyes that can detect this stuff.

01:15:39.000 So everything seems perfectly normal and you have to rely upon the authorities to tell you if it's dangerous.

01:15:45.000 And their estimation of its danger is based on an outdated and obsolete and completely discredited radiation risk model which is based on the atomic bomb.

01:15:56.000 Uh, and has absolutely nothing to say about internal radionuclide exposures.

01:16:02.000 And as I say, there are loads and loads of papers, scientific papers in the peer-reviewed literature, which show that these internal radionuclide exposures are up to a thousand times more dangerous than the dose would suggest.

01:16:13.000 So if they say the dose is X, multiply it by about 500, and you're about right in terms of the dose.

01:16:20.000 And we published on the website of the Low Level Radiation Campaign, my own organisation, the ECRR, so you can go to either of those, llrc.org or uradcom.org, and you can find a simple method of calculating the likely cancer risk, the cancer outcome of the exposure, at any particular dose that they publish.

01:16:43.000 I'll bite that up in encouraging people to visit those websites.

01:16:48.000 You mentioned the proponents of the nuclear industry downplaying this, which is not right, but it's understandable why they're doing it.

01:16:57.000 But what baffles me is these self-proclaimed environmentalists, and I'm specifically talking about British environmentalist George Monbiot, who has been writing I've been reading articles for the Guardian over the past two weeks, including his most recent one, Why Fukushima Made Me Stop Worrying and Love Nuclear Power.

01:17:18.000 And Monbiot writes that critics of the nuclear industry have, quote, wildly exaggerated the dangers of radioactive pollution.

01:17:28.000 Dr Busby, given the fact that Monbiot claims is this preeminent environmentalist icon, why is he completely disregarding the threat of nuclear fallout and treating it as if it's some, you know, nutritious health benefit?

01:17:42.000 Well, I have to say that I know George Monbiot, and he doesn't know anything.

01:17:47.000 This is really the problem.

01:17:48.000 Most of these pundits that come out, they're not scientists, they're not researchers.

01:17:53.000 They have never done any research in this area, and so they tend to rely upon people that tell them things, and I guess he's relying upon all of the misinformation coming from the nuclear industry lobby and their friends.

01:18:05.000 Otherwise, there's no possible explanation for what for what he's saying, because what he's saying is total nonsense.

01:18:10.000 In fact, it's criminally irresponsible for him to write what he writes, given that he doesn't know anything.

01:18:15.000 I mean, at minimum, he ought to say, "Well, I don't know anything, but this is what I think." But he comes out with all this tosh. 0.95

01:18:22.000 I have to say that about two years ago, George phoned me up.

01:18:26.000 I was on holiday, and he wanted me to give him an account of the effects of low-dose radiation and so on.

01:18:31.000 And I went to some length to write some article, a little article for him, which I sent to him.

01:18:36.000 So it's not as if he doesn't know.

01:18:38.000 And then he wrote an article in the Guardian where he has a column in which he totally ignored everything I said and put out some similar sort of nonsense to the nonsense he's writing now. 0.62

01:18:49.000 But the nonsense he's writing now is actually much more dangerous.

01:18:52.000 Because it's in the middle of a crisis when people are being exposed to these radionuclides and becoming contaminated.

01:18:58.000 And you will see, and I predict, a very large and measurable increase in cancer and other ill health after this accident in people living in the north of Japan.

01:19:09.000 Certainly in Tokyo, where there's a very large population, so it would be easy to show this.

01:19:13.000 And just like Chernobyl, where you could also show this, they were saying, oh well, you know, it must be radiophobia, or they've got some numbers wrong, or perhaps it's the contamination from the sea, from the tsunami, etc, etc.

01:19:27.000 Anything but the actual cause of the increase in cancer.

01:19:31.000 So we are asking people in the area, all of them, to take samples and put them in a plastic bag and just keep them right the date, right where it was, and put it inside somewhere safe.

01:19:41.000 And then afterwards, when they develop cancer, or their son, or their mother, or their uncle, they're married.

01:19:47.000 We'll be back after the break.

01:19:49.000 Most of us eat a blend of processed, man-made, and all-natural food.

01:23:47.000 We're back five.

01:23:59.000 It's the Alex Jones Show, Friday, March 25th.

01:24:02.000 Mike Adams, editor of naturalnews.com, will be your host for the second half of the broadcast.

01:24:08.000 So we have George Monbiot who claims that man-made global warming is making areas of the globe uninhabitable, but then he says that radioactive fallout, which in the case of Chernobyl measurably did make entire areas of the globe uninhabitable, saying that concerns about radioactive fallout from Fukushima are, quote, wildly exaggerated.

01:24:31.000 He says, as a result of the disaster at Fukushima, I am no longer nuclear neutral, I now support the technology.

01:24:38.000 And this is somebody who describes himself as an environmentalist.

01:24:42.000 Dr. Chris Busby, did you have any closing comments on that particular subject?

01:24:47.000 I think I said that George doesn't know anything.

01:24:49.000 I mean, that's mainly the problem.

01:24:51.000 So he can say anything he likes, but he hasn't done any research in this area, and he hasn't read anything in this area. 0.99

01:24:56.000 He's quite ignorant. 1.00

01:24:58.000 He's an ignorant person when it comes to this. 1.00

01:25:00.000 I'm quite happy to debate this face-to-face with George, who I know vaguely, on any TV show. 0.99

01:25:06.000 And I do court cases on this issue and win them.

01:25:12.000 The evidence is just massive that he's wrong.

01:25:14.000 I mean, what else can I say?

01:25:16.000 He can go and say these things, and there are other people like Mark Linus that say the same thing.

01:25:20.000 They do so from a base of ignorance.

01:25:23.000 I mean, I've researched this stuff for 20 years.

01:25:25.000 I've written two research papers on it.

01:25:27.000 I've studied epidemiological correlations between radiation and health.

01:25:33.000 I mean, I know what I'm talking about.

01:25:35.000 These people don't know what they're talking about, and I think, as I said before, criminally irresponsible of them to say these things.

01:25:43.000 Okay now, we've had a lot of callers, basically what people, we won't have time for callers with you because obviously we're finishing at the bottom of the hour, but the most common question that we get is how can people take steps to protect themselves from the radiation that's encircling the globe and not become victims like the people of Chernobyl and surrounding areas were.

01:26:05.000 We have Potassium iodide obviously selling out.

01:26:09.000 You have the weaker liquid form of that, which is a good method to build up your body's defences.

01:26:16.000 Are we just limited to potassium iodide or is there anything else that we can do to try and protect ourselves against this fallout, Dr Busby?

01:26:24.000 Well, I think that there's not much that you can do, I'm afraid.

01:26:27.000 You can stay indoors, that's the main thing, until it's died down.

01:26:31.000 You can not drink milk and drink fresh water, eat tinned food and not fresh vegetables.

01:26:40.000 But I don't think at the moment that the concentrations In the other parts of the globe are high enough for people to worry that much about it that the effect is much greater than Chernobyl But it's pretty localized because the wind is blowing it from the West It's a West wind mainly the drift is across the Pacific and there's an awful lot of Pacific before you get to the United States and then there's an awful lot of United States before you get to the UK and

01:27:06.000 Um, whereas Chernobyl was in the middle of Europe, and most of the effects from Chernobyl were in Europe, because the wind was blowing it over the top of, uh, through the Baltic Republics, and then over the top of Sweden, and then down into, and also some of it went to Greece, but it was, potentially, it was in the middle of a big land mass, whereas this is not.

01:27:22.000 This is on the edge of a land mass, so that's actually saved most people.

01:27:25.000 I wouldn't, I wouldn't say they have to worry too much about it.

01:27:28.000 Um, I think maybe for children, it would be a good idea to give them stable iodine because that will block their thyroid glands.

01:27:36.000 As far as the particles are concerned, there's not much you can do.

01:27:38.000 These particles are very small and very mobile, so to stay in would be a good idea.

01:27:42.000 It's inhalation that's the main problem.

01:27:44.000 Ingestion is not so much of a problem.

01:27:46.000 So it's inhaling the particles that are floating around the globe.

01:27:49.000 And so long as it doesn't get worse, which we don't know, but if it does get worse, then the only thing you can do is stay in.

01:27:55.000 That's all you can do.

01:27:57.000 And then the rain will rain out the particles Of course.

01:28:01.000 OK, that's all we got time for.

01:28:03.000 Really appreciate you taking the time out to join us today, Dr Busby, and I'm sure Alex will be talking to you soon in the near future.

01:28:11.000 Thanks for taking the time to be with us today.

01:28:16.000 Thank you very much.

01:28:17.000 Okay, there goes Dr. Christopher Busby calling George Monbiot, quote, criminally irresponsible for his lies about saying that claims of dangers from radioactive fallout are wildly exaggerated.

01:28:31.000 Dr. Busby said that Fukushima had the potential and, in fact, was already worse than Chernobyl.

01:28:39.000 Now we've got the new scientist and the Austrian meteorological agency reporting that levels of radiation emitted from Fukushima already rival Chernobyl with no sign of the crisis ending and with the news today that reactor number three has been breached and that the core is leaking, the core is cracked.

01:29:02.000 Of course, Dr. Busby earlier in the interview said that that was likely caused by the explosion we saw nearly two weeks ago with the plume of debris and the orange fireball shooting high into the sky and basically that the Japanese authorities have been lying about it for the past two weeks as it seeped plutonium radiation.

01:29:23.000 That's all for me.

01:29:24.000 Mike Adams will be taking the reins for the second half of the show.

01:29:28.000 I've been Paul Joseph Watson.

01:29:30.000 Call us.

01:29:31.000 Call in for Mike.

01:29:32.000 And be sure to stay tuned for the show at PrisonPlanet.tv.

01:29:39.000 We're on the march.

01:29:40.000 The Empire's on the run.

01:29:42.000 Alex Jones and the GCN Radio Network.

01:29:48.000 A very wealthy U.S.

01:29:50.000 citizen is predicting that in 2011, we will witness the most important day in America in more than 50 years.

01:29:57.000 He says it will change everything about our lives.

01:29:59.000 The way you shop, travel, invest, educate your children, and even how you take care of your health and your own family.

01:30:05.000 Now, this man has made some outrageous predictions over the years.

01:30:08.000 The crazy part is, he's usually right.

01:30:10.000 You see, he predicted the collapse of GM, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and America's biggest mall owner, General Growth Properties.

01:30:16.000 In fact, Barron's called his work a dire prophecy.

01:30:20.000 Recently, he created a video, which you can watch online for free, detailing his biggest and most important prediction yet.

01:30:25.000 And it's a real eye-opener.

01:30:27.000 I can't stress this enough.

01:30:28.000 You should at least watch this free video online today.

01:30:31.000 He explains everything you need to know.

01:30:33.000 Including simple steps you can take to protect yourself.

01:30:35.000 You can find the video at www.EndOfAmerica3.com.

01:30:40.000 That's End of America, the number 3.com.

01:30:45.000 That's EndOfAmerica3.com.

01:30:48.000 Hi folks, this is Alex Jones asking you for a minute of your time to tell you about soap.

01:30:52.000 Not detergents, but good old-fashioned pure soap made by the Calbin Soap Company, a family-owned and operated American company.

01:30:59.000 My family, staff, friends, and radio listeners are constantly telling me how much they love these products for bath, hair, laundry, and dishes.

01:31:06.000 There is nothing like these factory-direct, big-money-saving, triple-concentrated soaps anywhere.

01:31:11.000 Get a free, detailed catalog by calling 800-340-7091 or see them online at 5starsoap.com or InfoWars.com.

01:31:20.000 Let's talk to the owner of 5 Star Soap, Marty Schachter, and see what he has to say.

01:31:23.000 As founder and owner for over 63 years, people keep asking me, how's business?

01:31:30.000 I'm happy to say our business is going down the drain.

01:31:47.000 Thank you.

01:31:47.000 You've heard Alex explain how the Silver Lungs Generator infuses the respiratory system with your self-produced colloidal silver solutions, yet many are unaware of the entire function of the Silver Lungs System and how it has been designed to deliver your silver solutions anywhere in or on the body.

01:32:03.000 Thank you.

01:32:04.000 My name is Mario Cifaldi and I'm the developer of the Silver Lungs Generator.

01:32:09.000 Not only does the Silver Lung System produce endless colloidal and ionic silver solutions, it also comes equipped with the proper applicators and devices needed to deliver your silver solutions directly to key target areas.

01:32:22.000 This includes the eyes, ears, nose, lungs, topically to the skin, and orally for the digestive system.

01:32:44.000 That's www.silverlungs.com.

01:32:47.000 Welcome back, everybody, to the Alex Jones Show.

01:33:02.000 My name's Mike Adams, the health ranger.

01:33:05.000 I'm here to fill in for Alex on the second half of his show.

01:33:08.000 I want to thank Paul Joseph Watson for doing his usual excellent, outstanding breakdown of the news on the first half of this show.

01:33:16.000 In the second half of the Alex Jones Show, we're going to be covering GMOs.

01:33:20.000 We have some information about events happening tomorrow, some protests about genetically engineered seeds.

01:33:26.000 We also have some information about the Health Freedom Expo taking place right now in California and why that matters for your health and your freedom.

01:33:34.000 And speaking of freedom, in about half an hour from right now, we're also going to be talking with gubernatorial candidate Phil Moffitt, who has a really intriguing position.

01:33:45.000 He is saying that the FDA should get off of Kentucky's farms.

01:33:50.000 We'll be talking to him and getting his information about why that matters and how that can help create economic abundance in Kentucky for the farmers and the people there.

01:33:59.000 But first, in the next segment, which is a long segment here, we are going to talk about the Fukushima incident and provide additional information carrying on from what Paul Joseph Watson already presented in the last segment.

01:34:12.000 It's kind of a tag team effort here today.

01:34:14.000 So there's a lot of breaking news as you're well aware.

01:34:16.000 And also we're going to take callers about an hour from now, perhaps less.

01:34:21.000 And I would like to ask callers to call in on the Fukushima incident or GMOs.

01:34:27.000 I'm not going to be taking calls on the Libya situation.

01:34:29.000 That's not the focus here on this half of the show.

01:34:32.000 So my apologies to those who wanted to talk about that in this segment.

01:34:35.000 But we're going to be talking about Fukushima, the radiation, GMOs, the safety of the food supply, and the safety of our planet from this nuclear catastrophe.

01:34:45.000 Now breaking down that information right here to get started, we have some news to go through, breaking news that I compiled for you this morning.

01:34:52.000 And some of it here, of course, Fukushima reactor number three suffering a core breach.

01:34:57.000 Water's leaking out.

01:34:59.000 It has about 10,000 times higher levels of radiation than the usual radiation that should be present in the water in the cooling pools.

01:35:08.000 Some of the quotes here are quite ominous if you think about it.

01:35:12.000 Here we go.

01:35:13.000 The situation today.

01:35:15.000 This is from Japan's Prime Minister.

01:35:17.000 The situation today is still very grave and serious, he says.

01:35:22.000 We must remain vigilant.

01:35:23.000 We are not in a position where we can be optimistic.

01:35:27.000 We must treat every development with the utmost care.

01:35:30.000 We've got radiation on vegetables 135 miles south of Fukushima.

01:35:35.000 Right now that's south.

01:35:36.000 The wind's not even blowing that way and yet the radiation is headed that way and already contaminating The vegetables and the water there.

01:35:44.000 Even CNN today called this new core leak situation a potentially ominous development in the race to avert or prevent a large-scale release of radiation.

01:35:57.000 Bloomberg today is reporting that the reactor core may be breached at the Fukushima plant.

01:36:02.000 And here's another quote from a spokesman at the Japan's Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency.

01:36:07.000 He said, it's very possible that there's been some kind of a leak in the number three reactor.

01:36:12.000 And he goes on to say, Even if there has been encouraging news, the installation remains in an extremely precarious and very serious situation, and it has not stabilized.

01:36:24.000 So, and radiation burns are being reported on workers there who stepped into the water.

01:36:29.000 We have more news on the meltdowns.

01:36:31.000 You know, the situation here, folks, if you think about this, at first they downplayed the entire incident.

01:36:38.000 The plant exploded, the radiation started leaking into the atmosphere, into the water.

01:36:42.000 They were downplaying it.

01:36:43.000 They weren't releasing the radiation numbers.

01:36:45.000 That was covered here on the Alex Jones Show.

01:36:48.000 They were censoring the radiation readings so that people didn't find out what was going on.

01:36:52.000 There is a blanket of secrecy Just covering this entire incident.

01:36:58.000 And even the story on that is now beginning to come out.

01:37:02.000 Because we now have an engineer who worked on the plant, who helped design it, who is going public with the truth about some of the corruption and the cover-ups and the secrecy that went on during the construction of that facility.

01:37:15.000 So now that's starting to come out.

01:37:17.000 But remember, The mainstream media has been downplaying this for at least, what, eight, nine days now, saying that there's no problem here in America.

01:37:25.000 President Obama went on the air and said Americans basically should not prepare.

01:37:31.000 That one blew me away, folks.

01:37:33.000 I don't know where that one came from.

01:37:35.000 Can you imagine former President Harry Truman saying that?

01:37:39.000 You know, back in World War II, the message was to the Americans, get prepared.

01:37:43.000 Grow your victory gardens.

01:37:45.000 Have some extra food on hand.

01:37:47.000 Have some extra water.

01:37:48.000 Be part of the solution.

01:37:49.000 Be part of the war effort to achieve victory and achieve freedom in Europe and in Asia at that time.

01:37:55.000 That was World War II.

01:37:57.000 Today, only a few generations later, our president is telling us, don't prepare?

01:38:03.000 We have a nuclear facility, smoke is coming out of the reactor cores, out of the reactor buildings, excuse me.

01:38:11.000 We have neutron beams emanating out of these structures.

01:38:15.000 We have, the water is too radioactive for infants to drink.

01:38:19.000 The ocean is being irradiated to the point where even the safety of seafood is being questioned.

01:38:24.000 Countries are banning food coming out of Japan because it's irradiated.

01:38:28.000 You can't eat the vegetables out of Fukushima.

01:38:31.000 The situation is not under control, even though we were told it was under control.

01:38:35.000 We were told there was power connected to all the units, but what good is that if there's a leak in the core?

01:38:41.000 What good is the power being connected if the pumps don't work because the pumps were damaged in the explosions?

01:38:48.000 And in this context, our president says, don't get prepared.

01:38:52.000 All of you in California or Washington or Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii, don't get prepared.

01:38:57.000 I'm sorry, I don't understand that one.

01:39:01.000 I think everybody who's a fan of the Alex Jones Show here would say get prepared just in case for everything.

01:39:08.000 But continuing with the news, emissions now are approaching Chernobyl levels.

01:39:13.000 This was covered by Paul Joseph Watson and his guest Dr. Busby in the previous segment.

01:39:18.000 Great job on that by the way.

01:39:20.000 Chernobyl is now looking like it's going to be the second worst disaster in the history of the nuclear industry because Fukushima is sadly and quickly taking the place as the number one worst nuclear disaster in the history of human civilization.

01:39:37.000 As of yesterday, the iodine-131 being released was 73% of the daily levels of that observed after Chernobyl and its meltdown in 1986.

01:39:47.000 in 1986. Cesium-137 is currently approaching about 60% of the release from Chernobyl in 1986.

01:39:54.000 Three nuke workers in Japan were exposed to high levels of radiation.

01:39:59.000 Here's some more news.

01:40:00.000 Possible radiation burns to their feet caused by what they call beta ray burns.

01:40:06.000 Alright, here we go.

01:40:08.000 Neutron beam observed 13 times.

01:40:11.000 That's evidence that the uranium and plutonium leaked from the plant's nuclear reactors and has discharged a small amount of neutron beams via fission.

01:40:21.000 We're all getting a lesson in nuclear physics over the last two weeks, whether we like it or not.

01:40:25.000 And unfortunately, the lesson is that physics beats politics.

01:40:30.000 That's right.

01:40:31.000 You can't cover up physics if the nuclear plant is emitting radiation.

01:40:34.000 You can only lie about it for so long if you're the government of a country like Japan or the United States.

01:40:40.000 You can only try to cover it up for so long because sooner or later the radiation just kicks in and it becomes obvious.

01:40:48.000 People's hair started falling out after Chernobyl in 1986.

01:40:53.000 Right now in the USA, the EPA says that 8 of its 18 air monitors are not working along the West Coast.

01:41:00.000 That's California, Oregon, and I'm sorry, my headset's in the shot there.

01:41:05.000 For those of you watching in Washington now, this is amazing.

01:41:10.000 The EPA's spokesperson, Ronald Frass, director of the National Air and Radiation Environmental Laboratories in Alabama says, quote, what we are seeing is not a problem.

01:41:21.000 Really?

01:41:22.000 How is it not a problem that your radiation monitors are not working?

01:41:26.000 22 monitors out of 124 that are deployed across the United States are not working as of today.

01:41:33.000 That's about one out of six, right?

01:41:35.000 That's a lot of radiation monitors that aren't working and the EPA spokesperson says that's not a problem.

01:41:41.000 You know what it sounds like to me?

01:41:42.000 It sounds like a cover story.

01:41:44.000 It sounds like they're setting themselves up to say that we don't have to report the radiation levels from these sensors.

01:41:52.000 And they can just say, well, see, we told you they weren't working.

01:41:56.000 What a convenient excuse for not reporting the numbers.

01:41:59.000 Let's hope that's not the case.

01:42:00.000 Let's hope the EPA gets on top of this and gets their radiation monitors working so that we can get some accurate information.

01:42:06.000 Because that's what's been lacking in this entire situation, is accurate information about what's coming out of Japan.

01:42:13.000 We've been lied to again and again by the governments of both of these nations, Japan and the United States, who are not telling us the truth about the dangers of radiation, about how much radiation is reaching our shores, and about what we should do here in America to prepare ourselves for the possibility of radioactive fallout.

01:42:34.000 The fallout has begun.

01:42:35.000 Sure, the levels they say are very low right now as background radiation.

01:42:39.000 But again, if you're one of those unfortunate individuals who happens to inhale a radioactive particle that has been sent over from Fukushima, then it's not background radiation anymore.

01:42:51.000 It's internal radiation, and you could die of cancer 20, 30 years down the road because of that incident.

01:42:58.000 So I believe that our governments have a responsibility to give us more accurate information and that's why I think it's great that you're tuning into the Alex Jones Show because this has been a source here over the past two weeks for some truly outstanding information that the federal government is not Providing to the American people.

01:43:17.000 But you know that.

01:43:18.000 That's why you're listening.

01:43:19.000 Radioactive yellow rain has been falling in Tokyo.

01:43:22.000 Of course, they explain this away as pollen.

01:43:26.000 Yeah, it's just pollen, folks.

01:43:27.000 Don't worry when there's a nuclear near meltdown scenario and it starts raining yellow rain.

01:43:34.000 Don't worry about that.

01:43:35.000 Of course, the folks in Chernobyl in 1986 were told the exact same thing.

01:43:40.000 And it wasn't long before they started vomiting and their hair fell out and there were pictures of deformed animals starting to circulate around that realm in the weeks following the yellow rain falling out of the sky.

01:43:52.000 So yellow rain, bad sign.

01:43:54.000 A lot of these are very dangerous and bad signs.

01:43:57.000 Now, just how dangerous could the situation be for the long haul out of Fukushima with this yellow rain?

01:44:04.000 They say it's pollen.

01:44:05.000 I don't believe them.

01:44:06.000 With the vegetables and the crops being irradiated 135 miles away with the radiation in the water?

01:44:15.000 And the oceans and the air, just how bad could it be?

01:44:17.000 Well, there was a study actually conducted by the National Institutes of Health.

01:44:21.000 This is from the U.S.

01:44:22.000 Department of Health and Human Services, if you can believe that.

01:44:26.000 25 years after the Chernobyl incident, people there are still getting radiation.

01:44:32.000 It's right here.

01:44:33.000 It says high cancer risk continues after Chernobyl.

01:44:36.000 This is it.

01:44:36.000 Right here from NIH News, National Institutes of Health.

01:44:40.000 It says that iodine-131 radiation led to an increased risk for thyroid cancer that has not seemed to diminish over time.

01:44:51.000 Think about that.

01:44:51.000 25 years later, they are still paying the price for their mistakes and their cover-ups in Chernobyl.

01:44:57.000 Makes you wonder, what kind of price are we going to be paying in our world now from the fallout that's being caused from Fukushima?

01:45:05.000 And especially, what kind of price are the Japanese people going to be paying for this?

01:45:09.000 Because they don't have a lot of places to go.

01:45:12.000 That island is not a very large landmass.

01:45:14.000 And it is admitted this morning, I don't have the source with me here, but it was admitted that they may have to begin looking at making areas of Japan uninhabitable by human beings because of this incident.

01:45:28.000 And certainly if the reactor number three core is leaking, And if these emissions, these radioactive emissions from plutonium and the MOX fuel there, which we calculated as being 2 million times more deadly than regular enriched uranium, if that gets into the environment in Japan, you can bet there are going to be areas of that country that are not habitable by human beings for a very long time to come.

01:45:55.000 And, on top of all that, we have a lack of data coming out.

01:45:59.000 This is from the LA Times, believe it or not.

01:46:01.000 Lack of data from Japan distresses nuclear experts.

01:46:04.000 I wrote here, you can see this on PrisonPlanet.tv, I wrote, lack of data, heh, secrecy.

01:46:10.000 That just means they don't want to tell you what's going on.

01:46:12.000 They don't want to show you pictures of what's happening inside these plants, and they don't want to share with you the real numbers of the radiation levels that are being caused by this incident.

01:46:21.000 There's a lot of frustration out there, even in the nuclear industry, about the lack of information from Fukushima.

01:46:28.000 Almost every step of the way, reported the LA Times, the problems at the Fukushima plant have been understated, understated by those in charge in Japan.

01:46:38.000 Leaving observers scrambling to analyze the situation as best they can from afar.

01:46:42.000 That means guessing, folks, guessing.

01:46:45.000 They're guessing with the situation there when they could be telling you the truth.

01:46:49.000 The problem with that is when they guess, they leave the people with a lot of question marks and they cause fear.

01:46:56.000 They cause panic by not giving people good information.

01:47:00.000 It's the same thing with preparedness.

01:47:02.000 When the president comes on and says people don't prepare, there's no need to worry, you don't have to really take any extra precautions, then, in my view, If there's a situation like serious radioactive fallout in California, which is still possible because of the core containment breach today, then people who have not prepared are going to freak out.

01:47:24.000 They're going to panic because they don't have the extra water, they don't have the potassium iodide, or they don't have the stored food.

01:47:31.000 They don't have anything because their leader told them, don't get prepared.

01:47:36.000 It doesn't make any sense to me.

01:47:37.000 Why not help people realize the importance of getting prepared so that if something happens, people are going to be more calm.

01:47:47.000 You're not going to have such a panic.

01:47:48.000 You're not going to have such a run on supplies.

01:47:50.000 And if you have to bring in the National Guard to give people extra water and to distribute extra potassium iodide or things like that, then those who have already prepared in advance are going to ease the burden On the National Guard, or on any of the emergency services that are bringing in those materials.

01:48:08.000 So, the right thing for any nation that has nuclear power in its borders today, the right thing is for the leaders of that nation to say, people, get prepared, just in case.

01:48:19.000 Every day.

01:48:20.000 Even without Fukushima, be prepared.

01:48:23.000 Every single day.

01:48:24.000 It's just bizarre that that's not being stated out there.

01:48:28.000 We'll have to cover that more, hopefully on another show.

01:48:32.000 But okay, Japan, U.S.

01:48:34.000 watchdog now sees gaps in reactor safety.

01:48:36.000 This is from Financial Times.

01:48:38.000 Says 28% of the nuclear plants in America are not reporting the defects.

01:48:43.000 Here we go.

01:48:44.000 They're not reporting the defects of their parts and the functioning of those parts unless a nuclear incident, or I'm sorry, a maintenance incident occurs.

01:48:54.000 So we have the NRC, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, That does not check whether the operators of nuclear power plants in the United States are reporting defective parts.

01:49:06.000 They're just leaving it up to them.

01:49:08.000 Just, ah, if you feel like it, tell us if something's defective.

01:49:11.000 If you feel like it, no worries there.

01:49:14.000 Nothing big is going on in this world today, so don't be worried about it.

01:49:20.000 Folks, the situation is worsening.

01:49:21.000 This is the bottom line.

01:49:23.000 Now, we of course are hoping and praying for Japan and for the engineers there to be able to get this situation under control.

01:49:32.000 But I'm not betting my life on them telling us the truth.

01:49:36.000 And you shouldn't either.

01:49:37.000 Don't bet your life on your government giving you honest information about this situation.

01:49:42.000 Because you know, if you're listening to this show, you know that they've been lying to us, and they're probably going to keep lying to us as long as they can get away with it.

01:49:50.000 The right thing right now is to stay tuned in to the alternative media, like right here on the Alex Jones Show, where you get good, accurate, and up-to-date information on what's really happening in Fukushima, and outstanding interviews with experts like you just heard in the previous segment.

01:50:05.000 So if you have questions about Fukushima and you'd like to be on the show in the next hour, be sure to call in.

01:50:12.000 We will be taking questions about the Fukushima incident and hopefully get some answers out there for those who are listening.

01:50:19.000 Now stay tuned!

01:50:20.000 to the Alex Jones Show here.

01:50:22.000 Across the break that we're about to take, we're going to come back and talk about GMOs and protests happening tomorrow in Washington, D.C.

01:50:30.000 We have millions against Monsanto.

01:50:32.000 We have crazy news from the world of health.

01:50:34.000 We will be right back.

01:50:35.000 My name's Mike Adams, right here on the Alex Jones Show.

01:50:38.000 Talk to you soon.

01:50:39.000 Hi, this is Alex Jones.

01:50:50.000 Did you know that the global elite are now storing non-hybrid seeds in secret storage vaults near the Arctic Circle?

01:53:47.000 Welcome back, friends, to the Alex Jones Show.

01:54:01.000 I'm filling in for Alex during the second half of his show today.

01:54:03.000 My name's Mike Adams.

01:54:05.000 I'll sign the health ranger, the editor of NaturalNews.com.

01:54:09.000 And today, we are talking about the Fukushima incident, GMOs, health freedom, and we have an interview with gubernatorial candidate Phil Moffitt coming up in just about 15 minutes.

01:54:19.000 Right here on the Alex Jones Show, we also have some breaking news about his campaign that we'll be sharing with you in a few minutes, so be sure to stay tuned for that.

01:54:26.000 Right now, let's get into some about Monsanto and GMOs.

01:54:30.000 There's an event taking place tomorrow in Washington and all around the country, in cities everywhere.

01:54:35.000 Let's see, what do we have?

01:54:37.000 Wow, right here in Austin.

01:54:38.000 Austin, Nashville, in Atlanta, New York City, all over the country.

01:54:43.000 This Millions Against Monsanto, this is a rally for the right to know what's in our food.

01:54:49.000 That's right.

01:54:49.000 It's a rally for knowing, for honest GMO labeling of our foods.

01:54:53.000 And you can find out more about this by going to the website run by Jeffrey Smith, who's been a frequent guest here on the Alex Jones Show.

01:55:01.000 His website is ResponsibleTechnology.org.

01:55:04.000 And on ResponsibleTechnology.org, you can see the action alerts on the right-hand side there.

01:55:10.000 There is a rally for the right to know, Saturday.

01:55:13.000 happening across the US.

01:55:14.000 So be sure to join in that.

01:55:16.000 That's a big event now.

01:55:17.000 Why do we have a right to know?

01:55:19.000 We only have a short amount of time in this segment, but I have to cover this.

01:55:23.000 Why do we have a right to know?

01:55:24.000 Because the grocery stores out there, even the health food stores, are selling foods that contain GMOs, but they're labeling them as all-natural.

01:55:33.000 They're not telling you that there's GMOs in the foods.

01:55:37.000 And we're showing a video here for those on PrisonPlanet.tv about the Millions Against Monsanto march.

01:55:42.000 Now, we have a right to know what's in our food.

01:55:44.000 I think most people would agree with that.

01:55:46.000 The FDA, of course, believes that labeling foods honestly might... it might confuse people!

01:55:53.000 That's right!

01:55:54.000 If you had information, like the fact that there's GMOs in your food, they think you might be confused by all that.

01:56:01.000 They say it might confuse people because they say it would make people think that genetically modified food might be different from non-genetically modified food.

01:56:10.000 Seriously.

01:56:11.000 That's their logic.

01:56:13.000 In their minds, it's no different.

01:56:14.000 No different!

01:56:16.000 I think they forgot what the word modified means.

01:56:19.000 Genetically modified food means it's modified.

01:56:22.000 It's genetically modified.

01:56:24.000 That's different than non-GMO food and that's why we deserve the right to have it labeled on our foods so we know what we're buying and we can avoid these GMOs wherever possible.

01:56:34.000 The demands of this rally are that we want the right to know what's in our food.

01:56:38.000 We want factory farmed animals and genetically modified animal products labeled just so we can have a choice to know what's in there.

01:56:45.000 We want long-term studies done on the safety of GMOs, and in addition, we want the organic industry to not be cross-contaminated by GMOs.

01:56:53.000 So check that out at responsibletechnology.org also.

01:56:59.000 Going on this weekend, Saturday, in Long Beach, California, is the Health Freedom Expo.

01:57:04.000 You can go to healthfreedomexpo.com to learn about that.

01:57:09.000 I'm giving a video presentation there.

01:57:10.000 This matters to us all because health freedom is crucial for the future of our country.

01:57:16.000 To get the FDA off of our farms, the FDA out of our foods, so that we can have honest labeling of natural supplements and herbal remedies that really work to prevent disease.

01:57:26.000 That actually work in many cases better than pharmaceuticals.

01:57:28.000 I mean, a lot of pharmaceuticals don't work at all.

01:57:31.000 They actually harm you more than they help you.

01:57:32.000 But natural foods, natural supplements, dietary supplements need to be able to be honestly labeled with their scientifically validated benefits.

01:57:40.000 And that's what the Health Freedom Expo is working toward.

01:57:43.000 So check that out if you're out in California.

01:57:45.000 Be sure to go visit the Health Freedom Expo.

01:57:48.000 And remember, we're going to continue talking about the FDA and food freedom here with gubernatorial candidate Phil Moffitt from Kentucky on the other side of this hour.

01:57:56.000 Now, I also brought in some weird news for you from the world of health.

01:58:00.000 All right, we're getting ready to go to the break.

01:58:02.000 We'll cover this on the other side.

01:58:04.000 But believe me, it's some strange news about how doctors are overcharging Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance companies for simple procedures like $60,000 for ultrasound.

01:58:15.000 Stay tuned right here on The Alex Jones Show.

01:58:38.000 This is Alex Jones with 5 good reasons you should consider buying a solar power generator.

01:58:43.000 Number 1.

01:58:44.000 New climate legislation could easily double or triple your electric bill.

01:58:47.000 Number 2.

01:58:48.000 Our new energy czar wants to control how much power your electric company allows you to have.

01:58:53.000 It's true.

01:58:54.000 Total government control of electricity in the name of smart grid technology is coming.

01:58:59.000 Number 3.

01:58:59.000 In some areas of the country, the power grid is dangerously overloaded.

01:59:03.000 And now, new socialist legislation is only compounding the problem.

01:59:07.000 Number 4.

01:59:08.000 Dangerous weather is always a threat to local grids.

01:59:10.000 Every year, thousands of families lose their power from weather-related outages.

01:59:14.000 Number 5.

01:59:15.000 A solar power generator provides powerful backup, insurance, and peace of mind.

01:59:19.000 Folks, I really believe in the solar power generators offered by Solutions from Science, one of my oldest sponsors.

02:00:00.000 Well, so does he.

02:00:01.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

02:00:05.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.

02:00:12.000 Welcome back folks to the Alex Jones Show.

02:00:14.000 This is Mike Adams, the health ranger filling in for Alex today.

02:00:17.000 We've been talking about Fukushima radiation catastrophe and how it's spreading radiation across the world now with a core number, I'm sorry, reactor number three core containment vessel That is causing a leak there.

02:00:31.000 We've been talking about GMOs and the events taking place tomorrow around the country to protest the non-labeling of GMOs in our food supply.

02:00:38.000 People are demanding across the political spectrum, on the left, the right, everybody in between, everybody wants to know what's in their food.

02:00:46.000 We also have talked about health freedom a little bit and joining us shortly we're going to have Kentucky gubernatorial candidate Phil Moffitt, who is going to be joining us and talking about his amazing platform

02:00:59.000 That says keep the FDA off of our farms in Kentucky, get the federal government out of our lives so that our farmers can pursue their own economic abundance without having their hands tied behind their backs or without being carted off as criminals for growing things such as industrial hemp, which we import from other countries anyway to make clothing and bags and food. 0.85

02:01:20.000 So why not let Kentucky farmers grow it? 0.97

02:01:23.000 industrial hemp.

02:01:24.000 You can't smoke it.

02:01:25.000 It's not that drug.

02:01:26.000 It's industrial hemp only, and it's good for making clothing and fibers.

02:01:29.000 Hey, the Constitution is written on hemp.

02:01:32.000 So that's what we're talking about, bringing that back to America. 0.97

02:01:34.000 So Phil Moffitt's going to be joining us.

02:01:36.000 Phil, are you there right now?

02:01:38.000 Yes, sir, I am.

02:01:39.000 Thank you, Mr. Moffitt, for joining us today.

02:01:42.000 Now, for those who aren't familiar with your platform and what you're saying here, can you give us a brief summary of what you're running on here with the FDA and keeping the FDA off of the farms of the Kentucky farmers?

02:01:55.000 Well, one of the corners of our platform is fighting for state sovereignty under the 9th and 10th Amendments.

02:02:01.000 And part of that is using the power of nullification to get the federal government out of our coal fields in Kentucky and the FDA off of our farms.

02:02:11.000 And it also applies to trying to get any unconstitutional regulation or law that comes from the federal government off our territory in Kentucky.

02:02:22.000 We're able and free people and we need to be treated as such.

02:02:26.000 Let me ask you, what's wrong with the FDA on your farms there in Kentucky?

02:02:29.000 Why are you against that?

02:02:30.000 Well, for a number of reasons.

02:02:32.000 One, it's not a right given to them as enumerated in the Constitution.

02:02:38.000 So they shouldn't have any place regulating how we farm or what we farm in Kentucky.

02:02:44.000 And the other is that they're choking our farms to death.

02:02:48.000 They're taking away crops.

02:02:50.000 They're bringing in the... They're trying to force us to use the seeds from, you know, genetically modified seeds.

02:02:57.000 And they're trying all kinds of techniques, basically, to tell us what to do and when to do it.

02:03:01.000 That's not how free people live.

02:03:03.000 Now, where did this come from?

02:03:03.000 That's exactly right.

02:03:06.000 I know you're a Tea Party candidate, and you're running in the gubernatorial primary, which is coming up very soon.

02:03:12.000 But what caused you to pursue this position, and what kind of feedback are you getting from the people of Kentucky that you're talking to right now about this position?

02:03:22.000 Well, what caused us to do it is our farms, our farmers are going broke.

02:03:27.000 Slowly but surely, the federal government has taken away crops from them and opportunity for them to prosper.

02:03:35.000 And one of the biggest things that they took away from us, and they did this quite some time ago, but it needs to come back now because it has even more relevance today than it did 100 years ago, and that's industrial hemp.

02:03:44.000 These things, industrial hemp is a wonderful product.

02:03:48.000 It grows exceptionally well in Kentucky.

02:03:51.000 It can be used for all types of things, including food, clothing, oils, lotions, medicines.

02:03:58.000 And it was the number one cash crop in Kentucky until the DEA, believe it or not, in the 1930s took it away from our farmers because they tied it to marijuana, which is an unjust tie together of two things.

02:04:13.000 Because you can smoke hemp, but you certainly can't get high off of it.

02:04:18.000 The response has been very good.

02:04:20.000 I'll tell you, there are a lot of people in Kentucky that want the organic food industry in Kentucky.

02:04:26.000 They want industrial hemp. 0.99

02:04:27.000 They want their farmers to just... Alright, Phil, we gotta take a break here, Phil.

02:04:31.000 We will be joining you on the other side of this break.

02:04:33.000 Stay with us here on the Alex Jones Show.

02:04:35.000 We'll be returning with Phil Moffitt getting the FDA off Kentucky's farms.

02:07:52.000 Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

02:07:55.000 All right, folks, welcome back to the Alex Jones Show.

02:08:03.000 I'm filling in for Alex today.

02:08:05.000 I'm Mike Adams, the editor of Natural News.

02:08:07.000 We are joined right now by Phil Moffitt, who is the gubernatorial candidate for Kentucky, and he's running on a unique and very uplifting platform actually about getting the feds off of our farms, out of our lives, so that the farmers of Kentucky can experience economic abundance without the interference of Washington.

02:08:25.000 It's about more than farmers, but Phil Moffitt is joining us again in this segment.

02:08:29.000 Phil, what has been the reaction now, so far, to your message out on the streets in Kentucky?

02:08:37.000 The reaction has been wonderful.

02:08:40.000 A lot of people in Kentucky understand how repressive the federal government has become, especially to our farmers.

02:08:47.000 We had an absolutely wonderful tobacco industry here in Kentucky that was taken away from us through federal regulation and lawsuits.

02:08:56.000 And it really has left our farmers in such a tough spot.

02:09:00.000 They're trying to fight now in the soybean and soy markets, which of course are worldwide markets with very low margins.

02:09:07.000 And they need more crops and more opportunity to be free people.

02:09:11.000 Industrial hemp and the whole foods industry and the natural foods industry would be great extensions for them, and it would allow us to bring jobs and prosperity back to Kentucky in a way we And as you're explaining, the federal government has interfered with the ability of Kentucky farmers to grow crops that would actually make them a profit, such as industrial hemp, which again, we're importing from other countries and not allowing it to be grown right here in America.

02:09:36.000 I mean, what kind of, how does that policy even come to exist in America, where American farmers can't grow the stuff that we're buying from other countries?

02:09:43.000 It doesn't make sense.

02:09:44.000 It's what you might expect.

02:09:45.000 It was a power grab by a rich industrialist in the 1930s.

02:09:50.000 Andrew Mellon, who is the Bill Gates of the day and the owner of Mellon Bank, was the Secretary of Treasury under FDR.

02:09:59.000 And he was also one of the seed investors at a company called DuPont Chemical.

02:10:04.000 DuPont Chemical was starting to, you know, understanding things like plastics and nylons and those types of things.

02:10:10.000 The synthetics industry was being born.

02:10:12.000 And their number one competitor was the industrial hemp industry in the United States.

02:10:17.000 So, hemp at the time was, you know, used for clothing and fabrics, robes, and all kinds of different things.

02:10:26.000 And of course, by taking that off the market, and how they did it was they used that current day DEA to tie hemp, which is in the cannabis family, to tie industrial hemp to marijuana, and they made it illegal.

02:10:39.000 And it took it off the, really in just a day or so, took an entire market away from Kentucky farmers and other states It's incredible, but just to be clear for those listening, your position is not about medical marijuana.

02:10:51.000 You're not advocating marijuana.

02:10:52.000 You're advocating just that farmers can grow industrial hemp to be used for clothing, to be used for making personal care products, and even hemp seeds, which are a nutritional product.

02:11:02.000 Those kinds of things, correct?

02:11:03.000 That is absolutely correct.

02:11:05.000 We are not trying to get marijuana legalized in Kentucky.

02:11:08.000 We want industrial hemp re-legalized.

02:11:11.000 There you go.

02:11:12.000 Now, I understand that your position is gaining such strength and you have so much momentum moving forward now that you're already starting to be attacked with some rather sleazy types of tactics that we see in a lot of political campaigns.

02:11:26.000 This is some of the breaking news.

02:11:27.000 We just got word before we went on the air with you here, Phil, that someone is running counterfeit ads in your name on Facebook to try to discredit you.

02:11:38.000 That's exactly right.

02:11:39.000 It is amazing that they would do this, but the truth is there are a lot of bad people out there.

02:11:46.000 They're trying to pit us against New Hampshire's Free State Project, and that says something to the effect that we don't believe that they've done a good job.

02:11:56.000 Basically, it sheds a bad light on them, and that's just not the case.

02:12:01.000 We appreciate what they're doing in New Hampshire and hope for the best.

02:12:05.000 Uh, but you know, I guess, uh, my late father-in-law told me at one time, he's an old Army Air Corps pilot, he said that, uh, you know you're over the target when you're, when you start catching the flack.

02:12:15.000 And, uh, that's exactly what's happening to us.

02:12:17.000 We're, we have a good message, we're getting it out there, the people are excited about it, and now they're just trying to destroy it.

02:12:23.000 Well, you're right in the crosshairs now.

02:12:25.000 Of course you're going to be hit with a big disinfo campaign.

02:12:28.000 You can expect a lot more, Phil, as I'm sure you're aware.

02:12:31.000 But if you think about it, you are challenging the authority of the federal government in the state of Kentucky.

02:12:37.000 And they know That if you win, and you can protect that power of the state there, and you can enforce the 10th Amendment rights of the state of Kentucky versus the federal government, that you will set a precedent.

02:12:50.000 And that precedent is extremely dangerous to the power that's slipping through the fingers of those at the federal government who don't want the states to be able to make their own decisions about things like food, and medicine, and farming, and economics, and so on.

02:13:03.000 Well, you're absolutely right, but I like the company that I'm in because Thomas Jefferson in 1798 wrote something called the Kentucky Resolution.

02:13:11.000 And that was a resolution he wrote in response to the Aliens and Seditions Act.

02:13:18.000 And basically what it said is that Thomas Jefferson said that if the general government assumes undelegated powers, then nullification is the act that is right, that is the rightful remedy.

02:13:30.000 And that's what we need to do.

02:13:32.000 I don't believe, and I've read the Constitution several times, if we don't fight against the federal government, I don't believe there's a statute of limitations that keep us from starting the fight today or starting the fight tomorrow.

02:13:45.000 They've taken our rights away.

02:13:47.000 We need to get them back.

02:13:48.000 And on our side of the fence, And, uh, you know, Kentucky's just one of many states that, or I will be, as Kentucky's governor, one of many governors that are looking forward to this fight with the federal government to get them back into the You're right, Phil.

02:14:04.000 There's no statute of limitations on freedom.

02:14:07.000 Thank goodness for that, too.

02:14:08.000 Now, Phil Moffitt, your website, let me just spell that out for people listening, it's philmoffitt, M-O-F-F-E-T-T dot com, so you can check out more information about Phil Moffitt on that website.

02:14:19.000 We are going to continue with Phil here.

02:14:22.000 I have a question for you.

02:14:23.000 Phil, have you done any calculations, or can you just take a shot at this, about what it would mean to Kentucky's economy If you could get the federal government off your farms, out of your industrial hemp farming history, and re-establish freedom for the state of Kentucky in the agriculture sense, what would that mean for your people there in the state?

02:14:45.000 Well, I can tell you the University of Kentucky did a study in 1990 about the impact that industrial hemp would have in Kentucky if it were re-legalized.

02:14:54.000 And by their numbers, They estimated that as many as 90,000 new jobs would be created in Kentucky as a result of the farming and the processing of hemp and the related products that would come from it.

02:15:09.000 Now that's a really big number, and even if we only got a third of that impact, it would be a home run, really of epic proportions in Kentucky.

02:15:20.000 So it's opening our farmers up to be able to make the common sense decisions that they're capable of making, you know, will turn us into one of the best economies in the nation.

02:15:32.000 And I know that scares a lot of people out there because Kentucky's always been a laggard in almost every way.

02:15:37.000 And here we are looking at an opportunity to jump ahead of the rest of the country and actually lead.

02:15:44.000 With you at the helm there, Kentucky would become, if your policies were able to get through and you were able to protect them from the federal government, Kentucky would become the industrial hemp farming capital of the country.

02:15:58.000 I could actually see farmers I agree with that.

02:16:01.000 to Kentucky to buy land that would increase the land values throughout the state.

02:16:05.000 There would be higher tax revenues, higher exports out of Kentucky.

02:16:09.000 This would be an economic gold mine for the state of Kentucky.

02:16:13.000 And frankly, the first state that does this is going to get the most riches from that gold mine, it seems, wouldn't you say?

02:16:20.000 I agree with that.

02:16:21.000 And, you know, it also opens up the multi-billion dollar organic and natural food industry as well.

02:16:27.000 I mean, they are looking for a place to be able to grow their crops without having the government crawling all over them every day.

02:16:36.000 It's something that we need to have in place.

02:16:38.000 It seems so common sense to me and so fundamental in terms of the right of freedom.

02:16:46.000 I have a hard time believing so many people don't believe or are resistant to this type of stuff in terms of getting the federal government off of our farms.

02:16:56.000 Well, it's amazing.

02:16:57.000 The American people have been trained, as you well know.

02:16:59.000 They've been hypnotized in many cases to just do what they're told, follow their orders.

02:17:04.000 They're drugged often with so many medications that they're beyond critical thinking ability.

02:17:09.000 You know, there's fluoride in the water.

02:17:11.000 The food has been stripped of many of its nutritional values because of the refining and the processing and the bleaching and the homogenization through the processed food industry.

02:17:19.000 And what you're talking about now in Kentucky Growing real food, organic food even, real crops that can be used right here in America.

02:17:27.000 That would help, I think, wake Americans up from the healthy, nutritious soil that Kentucky is blessed with.

02:17:32.000 I mean, you really have a gold mine there.

02:17:35.000 Well, I agree with you.

02:17:37.000 The situation is that we really have been brainwashed over the last three or four decades, if not longer, to believe that everything that the federal government does is to protect And it really is nonsense.

02:17:52.000 Most of the things that they have put into place and insist stay in place have done absolutely nothing positive for us.

02:18:00.000 And we need to roll that back and get back to the basics and get back to understanding that, you know, farmers need economic opportunities and we need to promote self-reliance.

02:18:12.000 It's what made this country great.

02:18:14.000 And we have to go back to that or we're going to convert ourselves into something Well, those are dangerous words in Washington.

02:18:22.000 Self-reliance?

02:18:23.000 How dare you suggest such a thing for Americans?

02:18:26.000 Self-reliance?

02:18:27.000 Hey, people are supposed to depend on the government to tell them what to do, what to eat, what kind of medicine to buy, what kind of vaccines to take, so on and so forth.

02:18:34.000 You know, the idea that people could actually rely on themselves or each other or their local communities, that's the antithesis of what Washington is trying to sell these days.

02:18:43.000 Well, you're right, and it's the opposite of what the founders believed.

02:18:47.000 Absolutely.

02:18:47.000 You know, the founders believed that if you could push government as far out to the people as possible so that local problems are being solved by local people with local money, that things would be much better for everybody if they were right on the money with it.

02:19:03.000 And, you know, we need to quit thinking with the central government mindset and turn it back around to where they allow us to define what our problems are, what our solutions are, and our funding needs to be on a local basis.

02:19:18.000 That's absolutely the key.

02:19:20.000 We are heading towards a break here now.

02:19:22.000 On the other side of the break, I want to ask you, Phil, about why the left, even many people on the left, like your position as well.

02:19:29.000 Your position crosses party boundaries and brings it back to freedom and self-reliance and getting the federal government off our farms and out of our states.

02:19:38.000 Join us back here on the other side of this break on the Alex Jones Show with Phil Moffitt.

02:23:46.000 Welcome back to the Alex Jones Show.

02:23:58.000 This is Mike Adams filling in for Alex today, and we are joined...

02:24:05.000 Some good music in the background there.

02:24:06.000 We're joined by gubernatorial candidate for the state of Kentucky, Phil Moffitt, who is running on a platform of nullifying the FDA's influence over Kentucky's farms and even nullifying the Department of Agriculture's mandates over farming there.

02:24:22.000 Mr. Moffitt is also an opponent of the Obama health care system that has been Well, this is another example of the government passing legislation and putting some happy name on it.

02:24:36.000 510 Food Safety Act that has been passed and that is now going to further burden U.S. farmers who are trying to, you know, just make an honest living.

02:24:47.000 Well, this is another example of the government passing legislation and putting some happy name on it, like the Food Safety Act.

02:24:55.000 And in reality, what they're doing is tripping away more of our liberties and more of our freedoms with the act itself.

02:25:02.000 And we just have to stop this stuff.

02:25:06.000 If we really knew that certain products were absolute carcinogens or absolute health hazards and things like that, I could understand where the federal government would want to act.

02:25:17.000 But the reality is all they're interested in is telling us what to do and when to do it and how to do it.

02:25:23.000 And they're killing our farm economy by doing that, and it just needs to stop.

02:25:27.000 They need to give that power back to the state.

02:25:30.000 We have a fully functional Department of Agriculture at the state level in Kentucky, and we're perfectly capable of managing our own affairs in that regard.

02:25:39.000 Exactly, and with the economic abundance that would come from the freedom that you would like to restore to Kentucky's farmers, seems like the state of Kentucky would have a lot of extra tax revenues to use for running things like your own State Department of Agriculture.

02:25:54.000 Makes economic sense, doesn't it?

02:25:55.000 It makes economic sense any time government gets out of the way and lets people figure things out on their own.

02:26:01.000 Because the free market is the most efficient vehicle for getting progress accomplished in terms of new products and services.

02:26:10.000 And the more the government stands in the way, the more they retard that effort. 1.00

02:26:13.000 And what's really interesting about your position, this is just my comment, I have a lot of readers on both the left and the right, and a lot of libertarian readers as well, and I noticed that even people on the far left are very much in support of your basic platform here of being able to grow what you want to grow without the feds coming in and telling you you can't grow that.

02:26:36.000 Industrial hemp being used to create hemp seeds, which are very rich in omega-3s, and hemp clothing, which is really rugged and long-lasting.

02:26:43.000 You can blend it with cotton.

02:26:44.000 You know, even the people on the left have been actually calling out for some of these things.

02:26:50.000 Of course, perhaps in a different context.

02:26:52.000 I understand that's not where you're coming from, Phil.

02:26:54.000 You're a Tea Party candidate.

02:26:55.000 But isn't it interesting that your position has such broad appeal that crosses virtually all party boundaries and just gets down to the root of freedom for the people?

02:27:06.000 At a local level.

02:27:07.000 Common sense has a broad appeal.

02:27:10.000 There is not a reasonable explanation other than a paragraph by a rich industrialist in the 1930s that industrial health ever should have been taken off the market.

02:27:22.000 There was absolutely no reason for it.

02:27:24.000 And it needs to be brought back.

02:27:27.000 As I said earlier, common sense has broad appeal across all segments of society.

02:27:33.000 I think a big part of the Tea Party movement coming to life is the fact that people understand at a common sense level we can't keep burying our country in debt.

02:27:43.000 Just like at a common sense level we know that we can't continue to be buried in regulation from the FDA and the EPA on things that really are local issues that we should be figuring out on our own.

02:27:56.000 And what can people do, Phil, who want to support your campaign or learn more about the progress of your campaign?

02:28:03.000 Well, we definitely need your help.

02:28:05.000 We have 54 days till our primary.

02:28:07.000 We actually have a May 17, 2011 primary.

02:28:11.000 And you can go out to philmoffitt.com at philmoffitt.com.

02:28:35.000 So get in touch with us.

02:28:37.000 We would love to have you as part of the team and we need your support.

02:28:39.000 All right.

02:28:40.000 Thank you.

02:28:40.000 Thank you, Phil, for joining us here on the Alex Jones Show today.

02:28:45.000 And thank you for adopting this platform of nullifying the FDA, the DEA, and the USDA in the state of Kentucky.

02:28:52.000 It will be very interesting to see how this moves forward.

02:28:55.000 We wish you the best of success in your candidacy.

02:28:59.000 And, of course, any candidate who's running for office on a platform of freedom is likely to do increasingly well in the days ahead, because I think America has reached a tipping point.

02:29:09.000 America is tired of the federal government telling us how to live our lives, grow our food, and take our medicine.

02:29:14.000 And people are changing.

02:29:16.000 People are recognizing we've got to have freedom if we want to have a future.

02:29:19.000 We'll be back on the other side of this break right here on the Alex Jones Show.

02:29:23.000 Stay with us.

02:29:23.000 We're on the march.

02:31:03.000 It's true.

02:31:03.000 Total government control of electricity in the name of smart grid technology is coming.

02:31:08.000 Number three.

02:31:09.000 In some areas of the country, the power grid is dangerously overloaded.

02:31:13.000 And now, new socialist legislation is only compounding the problem.

02:31:17.000 Number 4.

02:31:17.000 Dangerous weather is always a threat to local grids.

02:31:20.000 Every year, thousands of families lose their power from weather-related outages.

02:31:24.000 Number 5.

02:31:25.000 A solar power generator provides powerful backup, insurance, and peace of mind.

02:31:29.000 Folks, I really believe in the solar power generators offered by Solutions from Science, one of my oldest sponsors.

02:31:49.000 Alex has told you that the Mideast uprisings over food prices and shortages caused by fuel costs are spreading worldwide.

02:31:56.000 We're seeing the impact right here in the United States.

02:31:59.000 Ethanol, that was supposed to reduce petroleum use and fuel prices, hit a 30-month high in February, and pump prices are expected to reach $5 a gallon.

02:32:08.000 Because of shipping costs, food is being priced out of the reach of millions of Americans, with an expected 35% jump in the next 60 days.

02:32:46.000 And they found that the genes that were inserted into soybeans, transferred into the DNA of the bacteria living inside us, and conserved varieties of genetic modified.

02:33:00.000 Our engineers produce an insecticide, an insecticide, living in a silus, an insecticide, an insecticide.

02:33:08.000 Jones Show.

02:33:09.000 It's Mike Adams, the health ranger, filling in for Alex today.

02:33:11.000 Everybody eat more on second thought.

02:33:14.000 I don't really know.

02:33:14.000 Jones Show.

02:33:15.000 This is Mike Adams, The Health Rangers, filling in for Alex today.

02:33:19.000 And you were just hearing a segment from a song I did called Just Say No to GMOs.

02:33:24.000 Let's try to do a little music on the side and try to sing about some topics that people need to know about freedom and GMOs and so on.

02:33:32.000 Now in this segment, we're going to be taking calls.

02:33:34.000 If you would like to call in, the number is 800-259-9231.

02:33:40.000 You can call in.

02:33:42.000 We want to be taking calls about Fukushima and GMOs in this segment.

02:33:46.000 So please, callers, respect those topics.

02:33:49.000 And we're going to go to callers right now.

02:33:51.000 We have, I believe here, we have Steven in Florida calling in.

02:33:56.000 Go ahead, Steven, you're on the air.

02:34:01.000 Steven, are you there?

02:34:05.000 Alright, moving on to Noel in Illinois.

02:34:11.000 Hello, Mike.

02:34:12.000 It's a pleasure speaking with you.

02:34:14.000 You do an unbelievable job, man.

02:34:15.000 God bless your work.

02:34:18.000 Two quick questions on GMO foods.

02:34:22.000 I'm a college student.

02:34:24.000 I'm an aspiring investigative reporter.

02:34:27.000 Wondering how in the world I could interview you on my show for what college kids can do to prepare to get themselves, you know, self-sufficient in a way from these fancy GMO foods.

02:34:39.000 And secondly, about natural medicines.

02:34:43.000 I know, you know, I use Tom's of Maine fluoride-free toothpaste.

02:34:46.000 What can people do natural ways for dental work and then natural medicines that we could get cheap at, you know, some grocery stores?

02:34:57.000 Well, you know, the best medicine is actually food.

02:34:59.000 If you go out and you buy raw purple cabbage, for example, juice a little bit of that in a juicer, that stuff actually treats ulcers better than ulcer drugs.

02:35:08.000 Raw broccoli juice, for example, has an anti-cancer effect.

02:35:11.000 It helps prevent breast cancer and prostate cancer.

02:35:14.000 Virtually every color in your food Purple cabbage or the red of an apple skin or grape skin.

02:35:23.000 Fruits and vegetables and seeds and nuts.

02:35:25.000 They all contain natural medicine.

02:35:27.000 So those are some great ones.

02:35:28.000 Of course, there are great products that concentrate those as natural supplements.

02:35:31.000 I don't want to name any specific products right here, but there are some great ones out there.

02:35:36.000 If you want to connect with me, you have to do that through the Natural News website.

02:35:40.000 And I would very much enjoy being on your show.

02:35:44.000 I'm sitting in for Alex today, focused on the Alex Jones How are you?

02:35:49.000 topics which are fukushima and gmos i appreciate your call thank you noel uh daryl from texas how are you hey i'm doing great daryl thanks for calling in hey i wanted to ask uh a few questions and i realize you're pressed for time so i'm thinking the best way thing for me to do is maybe just take about 15 or 20 seconds ask these questions and then you can maybe formulate your answer and those are

02:36:15.000 um you know i'm interested in comparing this event of fukushima to maybe hiroshima and nagasaki to kind of assess what we've been through in the past and And assuming this will enter our food, how we can educate ourselves to best avoid these.

02:36:33.000 Also, is there anywhere to run, basically, on the globe?

02:36:37.000 Is this stuff going to circle and equilibrate through the globe?

02:36:40.000 I understand it'll also, it'll always be Well, one of the big differences, Darrell, of course, in the atomic weapons dropped in World War II, it was a single, large burst of radiation that then faded out immediately.

02:36:57.000 What we have in Fukushima is a slowly building, sustained release of radiation.

02:37:04.000 That is nowhere near being under control.

02:37:06.000 So now we're dealing with sort of a marathon of radiation exposure, where in Nagasaki, we were dealing with a one-time burst of radiation and a lot of fallout afterwards.

02:37:17.000 Now, this situation in Fukushima could actually end up impacting a greater number of people with, of course, a lower severity of radiation than the atomic weapons of World War II.

02:37:28.000 But it could impact a lot more people over time.

02:37:31.000 Did you have a follow-up question?

02:37:33.000 Yes, please.

02:37:34.000 Obviously, this is going to be a greater threat in the Pacific, and I'm just becoming a big fan of things like chlorella and spirulina, which float in the ocean, they're algae.

02:37:45.000 The question would be, if this is in our food and our soil, can we expect a decrease over time?

02:37:53.000 Also, do you think the spirulina and the algae that's on the shelves in the grocery store right now It's probably been in a warehouse somewhere.

02:38:00.000 It's probably safe to eat because it has not been in water in the last two weeks.

02:38:03.000 That's right.

02:38:04.000 The spirulina and chlorella, those are both really excellent microalgae superfoods that I've been recommending and even taking for a long time.

02:38:11.000 They have lots of benefits and it is safe to get them off the shelves or from the stores right now.

02:38:16.000 They haven't been irradiated.

02:38:18.000 In fact, some of the best spirulina in the world is grown in Hawaii.

02:38:22.000 And so, pristine water is actually in Hawaii and the other foods should be safe for now.

02:38:28.000 We have to monitor the situation and see what the radioactive fallout is going to be over the long run.

02:38:33.000 The interesting thing about this though, by the way, is that many of the answers to radiation actually come out of the ocean and have traditionally been part of the Japanese diet.

02:38:42.000 For example, high iodine content seaweeds, which are consumed in very high quantities in Japan, these are the very things that can help protect your thyroid from radiation exposure.

02:38:53.000 Thank you for your call, Daryl.

02:38:54.000 Some great questions here also from Noel earlier.

02:38:56.000 Tony in Michigan, you're on the air.

02:38:59.000 What's your question?

02:39:00.000 Hey, Mike, I appreciate you taking my call.

02:39:02.000 I just want to say that our local newspaper in the area of southeast Michigan I live went under, and it was replaced by a kind of Internet thing that does kind of a half-poor job of covering what a real newspaper did, even though real newspapers are controlled, obviously.

02:39:20.000 But I enjoy reposting some of your articles on their accountants.

02:39:25.000 community wall page so to speak and for the most part they leave them up there so your information counteracts some of the misinformation that comes out of the hospital.

02:39:35.000 Thank you Tony.

02:39:36.000 What's your question for us?

02:39:38.000 My wife and I, and we have a six-year-old son, we have a natural food supplement, kelp, which is obviously an iodine supplement.

02:39:46.000 On the bottle it's listed as 150 micrograms.

02:39:52.000 Just your opinion, I know you can't diagnose things like a doctor, but your opinion about taking that supplement now and also about giving that to a child now, just a precautionary to build up, or does that work that way?

02:40:03.000 Well, it does work that way.

02:40:05.000 You need to have natural sources of iodine in your body.

02:40:08.000 Now, Dr. Brownstein, who I believe has been a guest here on the Alex Jones Show, has studied this extensively and talks about the need to consume milligrams of iodine, not just micrograms, but milligrams.

02:40:20.000 8 to 12 milligrams per day for an adult, I believe, is his general recommendation for ongoing prevention of a variety of disorders such as thyroid disorders.

02:40:32.000 Iodine is even helpful in preventing certain types of degenerative conditions.

02:40:38.000 Now, of course, if you're going to take supplements, I always encourage you to seek out a naturopathic physician so that you're working with somebody who can get your overall sense of what you're taking and what you need.

02:40:47.000 But as a general rule, iodine can be taken in much higher levels than what is recommended by the U.S.

02:40:52.000 government, whose nutritional advice is always really low.

02:40:55.000 Remember, these are the same folks at the government who say you don't need much vitamin D either, or zinc.

02:41:01.000 I've been following the NHK World news out of Japan.

02:41:02.000 the numbers are kept artificially low which causes nutritional deficiencies in america which then feeds the profits of the drug industry and the cancer industry so it's all connected that's a great point that you made there tony thank you for your call really appreciate these great questions fred in florida you're on the alice jones show go ahead please i've been following the nhk world uh news out of japan they've been quite informative about the fukushima situation

02:41:27.000 um the current thinking about the number three reactor leakage is that it's from a broken pipe or valve inside the reactor vessel rather than a crack or breach in the reactor vessel itself They think this because if the reactor vessel itself was ruptured, that the leaking radiation would be much higher.

02:41:48.000 Well, that's a really important point.

02:41:49.000 I'm glad you're bringing us that news from NHK.

02:41:52.000 That's of course one of the news networks out of Japan.

02:41:56.000 If that's confirmed, that would be a very positive development.

02:41:59.000 I hope that's the case.

02:42:00.000 I hope it's not actually the containment vessel of the Corps itself.

02:42:03.000 Thank you for your call.

02:42:04.000 Linda from California, you're on the air.

02:42:06.000 What's your question?

02:42:09.000 You know, oxygen and diet and lifestyle Are the prescribed ways to stay healthy and that applies to Japan, to the facilities as well as the people which need light and oxygen and air that breaks down toxic waste as well as fallout.

02:42:29.000 Otherwise it builds and deteriorates into even finer stuff which is why people get cancer years later.

02:42:36.000 So the advice to people would be an oxygen diet lifestyle.

02:42:40.000 That's why raw foods and ocean stuff, all of this could come under the heading of oxygen.

02:42:48.000 So you don't have to take supplements.

02:42:50.000 You can just say fasting is a total detox because when you don't take any food into your body, it starts expelling the toxins.

02:43:03.000 Exactly right, Linda.

02:43:04.000 Some really good points there.

02:43:06.000 I would just add that, you know, detox is something that a lot of people need because of all the processed foods and junk foods and so on that we tend to consume in America today.

02:43:16.000 Detox is great, but right now, facing a possible radioactive fallout, I wouldn't want to be in a detox cycle right now just because I would That can make your body weak temporarily.

02:43:28.000 You know what I'm talking about?

02:43:28.000 Where the detox is kicking in and you have some of those toxins being released out of your body.

02:43:33.000 I would encourage people to really boost their nutritional intake right now of superfoods and raw foods and juicing and high quality supplements and real fruits and vegetables and things like that.

02:43:44.000 Right now, just to build up their bodies' defenses and nutritional stores in case something begins to happen with the fallout situation.

02:43:52.000 Because this is not over yet.

02:43:55.000 We're not out of the woods with Fukushima.

02:43:57.000 Let's hope it doesn't get any worse.

02:43:58.000 But that's a great point, Linda.

02:44:00.000 Thank you for calling.

02:44:01.000 Stephen from Florida, you are on the air.

02:44:04.000 Please go ahead.

02:44:05.000 Yeah, hey Mike, good afternoon.

02:44:07.000 Good afternoon, good to have you.

02:44:08.000 Yeah, what happened was, when you tried to call me up earlier, I'm trying to, as much as possible, keep the cell phone away from my head.

02:44:16.000 I don't blame you.

02:44:17.000 Yeah, so I keep it on speaker.

02:44:20.000 Unfortunately, I hit my mute button by mistake.

02:44:23.000 But as far as GMO foods, here's what I wanted to say.

02:44:26.000 I talk to a lot of people about this issue, and even though there's so much information out there through people like you and Alex, and especially Jeffrey Smith, And Health Freedom USA, this is still an issue that, for the most part, people are ignorant of.

02:44:43.000 And that's what makes it so dangerous.

02:44:46.000 And that's why I'm glad you mentioned these rallies that are taking place over the United States tomorrow, to make people aware of this.

02:44:52.000 Because, as far as I'm concerned, you're well aware of what the food industry and Big Pharma have done with the foods, with all the chemicals and pesticides, etc.

02:45:02.000 But this GMO situation with Monsanto and the corporate elite that are doing this, this to me is the most insidious part of what they're doing to corrupt and toxify our food system.

02:45:14.000 And the bottom line is this, and this is the main point I want to make, that people need to understand.

02:45:20.000 Alex has pointed this out very succinctly in his documentary, Endgame.

02:45:24.000 This is about eugenics. 0.72

02:45:26.000 This is about a group of people, and they're just a handful, that want to exterminate us all.

02:45:32.000 And of course, one of the main ways they're trying to do this is through what is our most essential element other than water and air, and that's the food supply.

02:45:41.000 Because we can't live without food, and they know this.

02:45:44.000 And so what they're doing is they're trying to basically alter what our Creator gave us that will benefit us in order to make us sick and weak to the point where we can't fight back and eventually we all just die off.

02:45:57.000 You got it.

02:45:57.000 Yeah, Steven.

02:45:59.000 I think you're right on with the point there.

02:46:02.000 I get your drift.

02:46:03.000 I think you're right on.

02:46:04.000 The food supply is becoming a source of poison.

02:46:08.000 For the people.

02:46:08.000 And this is something that we have to overcome if we're going to have a future.

02:46:12.000 You made a lot of really great points there.

02:46:13.000 Sorry, I didn't mean to cut you off.

02:46:15.000 But it's true that the water's already poisoned with the fluoride.

02:46:18.000 We know that.

02:46:19.000 The vaccines have their own whole story of what's in there, what kind of poisons and toxic chemicals are in there.

02:46:26.000 And now we have the GMOs.

02:46:27.000 And when I was on Alex's show last week, I mentioned some of the same things.

02:46:31.000 I said, look, the GMOs, these are the Fukushima catastrophe of modern agriculture.

02:46:37.000 If you think Fukushima is bad and how it's impacting the food and causing the radioactive contamination of vegetables over 100 miles away from the nuclear facility, then you just wait.

02:46:48.000 You just wait until these GMOs get out of control and you have a global food supply that is wiped out or you have a crash in one kind of crop?

02:46:57.000 What if all the GMO corn fails one year because of the monoculture activities that go on because it doesn't have genetic diversity, because it has vulnerability to a specific type of insect or a type of mold or fungus or bacteria?

02:47:11.000 What happens when that fails us and then the farmers are left with no seeds because you can't save seeds year after year due to the seed termination technology that they're building into these GMOs because they want the farmers to buy the seeds year after year from the same wealthy influential corporations?

02:47:29.000 This is just a travesty and it threatens the future of life on our planet.

02:47:33.000 You're exactly right about that, Stephen.

02:47:35.000 Thank you for your call.

02:47:37.000 Larry from Louisiana, you're on the air here on the Alex Jones Show.

02:47:40.000 Yeah, yeah.

02:47:43.000 Didn't I just see it snowing over in Japan there recently, since that reactor went up?

02:47:49.000 Well, I don't know, but as far as the weather's going, there's yellow rain falling out of the sky, and that's scary enough for me.

02:47:54.000 Do you have a question?

02:47:57.000 Yeah, but that's what I was wondering.

02:47:58.000 Snowing season and falling season ain't at the same time.

02:48:03.000 How are you getting pollen if it's snowing?

02:48:05.000 That's exactly right.

02:48:06.000 Well, when you start breaking down the logic behind some of these excuses that were being given by the Japanese government, they don't really make any sense.

02:48:14.000 That's the truth behind many of the stories that were told today by the mainstream media as well.

02:48:18.000 So I'm glad you pointed out that discrepancy in the report.

02:48:21.000 Yeah, they've been talking about people out in the cold.

02:48:24.000 I'm always fabulous.

02:48:24.000 They don't have any warmth because their homes are gone from the tsunami.

02:48:28.000 So how is it pollen season out there?

02:48:30.000 Not sure about that one.

02:48:32.000 Christopher from Alabama, you're on the air.

02:48:34.000 Go ahead, please.

02:48:35.000 Doing today?

02:48:37.000 I'm doing great, man.

02:48:38.000 How are you?

02:48:39.000 I'm always fabulous.

02:48:40.000 Real quick, are you familiar with the disease called PKU?

02:48:45.000 Yes, I am.

02:48:46.000 Okay, well, just real quick about GMOs.

02:48:49.000 I have twins that have that very rare disease called PKU.

02:48:51.000 Well, they'll never eat protein the rest of their life.

02:48:53.000 No milk, no chicken, no cheese, no fish, no birthday cake, no ice cream, no nothing.

02:48:57.000 As you know, if they take in protein, their body can't break it down.

02:49:01.000 It goes to the brain and causes a stream of retardation. 1.00

02:49:04.000 Really, anything happened with them when they got to be about three or four years old, they started eating real fruits and vegetables.

02:49:12.000 And their levels went off the chart.

02:49:14.000 And their doctors accused us of giving them protein, and come to find out what had happened.

02:49:20.000 We'd given them fruits and vegetables that had been genetically modified, and they had a pig gene in the tomato, the watermelon, that made their levels go off the chart.

02:49:31.000 Wow, okay.

02:49:32.000 That's a very disturbing report.

02:49:34.000 I'm glad you shared that with us, Christopher.

02:49:36.000 Thanks for doing that.

02:49:37.000 Yeah, it's true.

02:49:38.000 I mean, your children can't even touch MSG or free glutamate in any form, including yeast extract, which is a very common ingredient used in foods.

02:49:47.000 I'm sorry to hear that they got a hold of some genetically modified foods.

02:49:51.000 But I'm sure the reason you mentioned that is because it's important to point out.

02:49:55.000 What happens on our planet when you start combining animal genes with plant seeds?

02:50:00.000 This is completely unnatural.

02:50:01.000 It's a violation of natural law.

02:50:03.000 Some would say a violation of God and Mother Nature as well.

02:50:07.000 This is not the way to run the future of our world by playing God and Frankenstein with all these seeds.

02:50:12.000 We are headed for disaster on the agricultural front, I believe, if we continue down this path of GMOs.

02:50:19.000 Thank you for your call.

02:50:20.000 We have Rob from Illinois.

02:50:22.000 Oh, Rob, I'm sorry.

02:50:24.000 We gotta take a break!

02:50:26.000 Alright, here on the Alex Jones Show we're gonna come back from this break and continue a call with Rob and wrap up the segment of what we talked about today.

02:50:33.000 This is Mike Adams filling in for Alex Jones today on the Alex Jones Show.

02:50:38.000 Talk to you soon.

02:50:39.000 Talk to you soon.

02:50:55.000 Right now, purchase any filter system from BigBerkeyWaterFilters.com to get your choice of two Berkey sport bottles, a KDF shower filter, a set of fluoride filters, or our new Cyclast spigot absolutely free.

02:51:07.000 Why do this?

02:51:07.000 Because over 60% of municipal water is fluoridated.

02:51:48.000 They helped create a New World Order. 0.99

02:51:51.000 We are part of a New World Order.

02:51:53.000 A New World Order based upon collective action.

02:51:56.000 Invisible Empire is a damning indictment of the globalists through their own words and documents.

02:52:01.000 The New World Order really is a tool for addressing a new world of possibilities.

02:52:06.000 It means all the world under their control.

02:52:08.000 The United Nations would take over America.

02:52:11.000 The Trilateral Commission would control the world.

02:52:14.000 Invisible Empire chronicles how men of power and influence have worked in stealth for centuries to establish an oppressive world government.

02:52:22.000 I believe first of all that we now need nothing short of a world constitution for the global financial system.

02:52:27.000 Global governance with the establishment of the G20.

02:52:30.000 So it's going to be an inner ruling elite and then everyone else.

02:52:34.000 And I got news for you.

02:52:35.000 You're everyone else.

02:52:36.000 Invisible Empire.

02:53:46.000 All right, folks.

02:53:56.000 Welcome back to the Alex Jones Show on this Friday.

02:53:59.000 We are having a great time here taking some calls about issues.

02:54:04.000 GMOs, the Fukushima nuclear power plant catastrophe situation.

02:54:08.000 I'm filling in for Alex today.

02:54:10.000 My name is Mike Adams, the health ranger.

02:54:12.000 When we left before the break, we were about to bring in Rob from Illinois.

02:54:16.000 Go ahead, Rob.

02:54:16.000 You're on the air.

02:54:18.000 You're doing a great job.

02:54:18.000 Thank you, Mike.

02:54:20.000 I just wanted to point out that about the middle of last year, the Carlisle Group, which is a Bilderberg Group member, and they bought the largest vitamin and health food supplement company, the parent company of the largest vitamin and health food supplement company in the country.

02:54:40.000 And I'm curious as to whether they may try to introduce some GMOs into the vitamin and health food supply, and I wanted to get your take on that.

02:54:49.000 Well, currently, the USDA organic label does not allow GMOs to be used.

02:54:55.000 In fact, the organic definition does not allow GMOs to be used in any kind of nutritional supplements or foods.

02:55:01.000 So that's currently a good protection for us, but that's always under attack.

02:55:05.000 And that's why it's so important to join these protests and get out there and be part of these groups.

02:55:09.000 Everybody from Jeffrey Smith at the Institute for Responsible Technology to even the Organic Consumers Association is involved in this.

02:55:15.000 It's important to keep on protesting and pushing for GMOs to be out of the foods and protected, especially out of organics.

02:55:23.000 Did you have a follow-up question there, Rob?

02:55:26.000 Well, I was just wondering if maybe they might try to go out and dissolve the vitamin world that they bought.

02:55:33.000 You know, either that or some way attack the vitamin industry by now owning it.

02:55:38.000 Well, my sense is that these very powerful global corporations, they do know that there's money to be made in supplements.

02:55:44.000 A lot of the more popular common vitamins on the shelves, the low quality stuff, is really manufactured by what are essentially pharmaceutical companies.

02:55:52.000 And they use a lot of synthetic vitamins in those.

02:55:54.000 Again, I'm talking about the low-cost, low-quality stuff that you find at everyday stores.

02:55:58.000 But the good side of the industry is the very high-end, very high-quality nutritional supplement companies, which tend to be smaller.

02:56:06.000 And they're doing a great job out there.

02:56:08.000 And I know that you'll continue to support those companies because they're bringing us really important nutrition that we need to help us prevent chronic degenerative disease.

02:56:17.000 Nutrition really does work to do that. 0.62

02:56:19.000 We still have a little bit of time.

02:56:20.000 Thank you for your call, Rob.

02:56:21.000 I really appreciate it.

02:56:22.000 Vin from Arizona.

02:56:25.000 Please go ahead with your question.

02:56:27.000 Yeah.

02:56:28.000 Hi, Mike.

02:56:28.000 Can you hear me all right?

02:56:29.000 I can.

02:56:29.000 Go ahead.

02:56:30.000 Yeah.

02:56:31.000 Just bridging off what you guys were just talking about, the nutritional deficiency in this country is hitting an all-time high and one of the studies that I found from the Southern California School was measuring vitamin C content in oranges.

02:56:47.000 And they were going after big distributors who were apparently keeping oranges in their warehouses for months.

02:56:54.000 And they were sitting there, picked off trees ripe.

02:56:57.000 The peel was completely green.

02:56:59.000 When it was time to ship them out to the stores, they dyed the outside of the peels orange and shipped them out as fresh.

02:57:06.000 People go home and buy these.

02:57:08.000 These schools are testing these oranges, finding zero vitamin C content.

02:57:12.000 You want to know why these companies are buying up these vitamins, vitamin supplements and whatnot?

02:57:18.000 Because we are going to have to be dependent on those supplements.

02:57:21.000 The nutritional value of our food...

02:57:23.000 I think there's an effort, Vin, to actually lower the nutritional value of our food.

02:57:27.000 The same thing happens with tomatoes.

02:57:28.000 You make a really good point.

02:57:29.000 They say that you're buying tomatoes that are ripened on the vine, but what they don't tell you is they cut the vine off, too.

02:57:35.000 And they just leave the tomatoes attached to the vine.

02:57:38.000 They don't tell you that they use synthetic gas chemicals to ripen bananas in the warehouses before they ship them out to the grocery stores as well.

02:57:45.000 So there's all kinds of stuff like this going on.

02:57:47.000 I hope maybe we get a chance to come back and talk about what's really in your food on a future episode, depending on Alex's schedule.

02:57:54.000 I mean, there's so much you need to know about what's in your food and what's not in your food, it would absolutely shock you!

02:58:00.000 We'll get to that now.

02:58:01.000 The rebroadcast of this show begins in just a couple of minutes.

02:58:05.000 You're on the other side of this break.

02:58:07.000 I want to thank you all for joining me today and allowing me to sit in here for Alex Jones' rebroadcast.

02:58:13.000 It includes Paul Joseph Watson, Christopher Busby, and of course, Phil Moffitt, the gubernatorial candidate for Kentucky.

02:58:19.000 Thanks for joining us today here on the Alex Jones Show, and I look forward to joining you again in the future.

02:58:23.000 This is Mike Adams, the health ranger.

02:58:25.000 Take care.
