00:12:02.000 As I've pointed out many times and gone over the statistics, around 150 people in the United States die each year from wasp stings.

00:12:24.000 Close to a thousand die from complications from snake bites.

00:12:32.000 Why then are we talking about giving up all of our liberties and all of our freedoms for the boogeyman of terrorism?

00:12:42.000 And there's this idea in modern globalist law that they're attempting to basically overwrite European and British and U.S.

00:12:53.000 common law, the Bill of Rights, the Constitution.

00:12:56.000 They're also attempting to even overturn Napoleonic law, which is not seen as pro-liberty as English common law.

00:13:05.000 Even that is basically being overwritten by this neo-colonial maritime administrative law where they describe it as maritime and basically say land, sea or air they can do whatever they want and just have agencies write up regulations and they are clearly prosecuting a war against the existing order and the existing structure and

00:13:33.000 It has a thin veneer of nanny statism over it, claiming that this is all done for your own good.

00:13:43.000 There's lots of signs about drive safely, wear your seatbelt, we want to take care of you, we care about you.

00:13:49.000 And that's basically a propaganda that is bought into by the police, bought into by the military, bought into by the bureaucrats, bought into by the general public.

00:14:01.000 And so it's kind of a feel good thing by compartmentalized individuals in the private and public sector to really believe that everything they're doing is for a great good.

00:14:11.000 And that's why they have the classic cliche that does absolutely ring true that the road to Hades, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

00:14:22.000 And so there's this idea that you must be protected.

00:14:27.000 And that's why many suburbs now around the country first license and then ban having a horse in your barn.

00:14:35.000 Because a horse might throw you and break your back.

00:14:38.000 A horse might jump out of its fence and run into a car.

00:14:44.000 In fact, I've seen lately cases of as cities grow into the rural areas, they're saying, well, you may own this 400 acre ranch, but we've now built subdivisions around you.

00:14:54.000 You can't have your cows because a cow got out and a car ran into it.

00:14:58.000 And because cows might get out of somebody else's ranch or farm in the future, we're going to ban you having cows. 0.85

00:39:52.000 For no inspection sticker.

00:39:58.000 Folks, we have such a police state now.

00:40:00.000 The police are everywhere trying to generate revenue in this country that years ago I'd forget and go six months without an inspection sticker.

00:40:10.000 This thing was out less than a month and I was pulled over by the motorcycle cop.

00:40:15.000 And here's my issue.

00:40:17.000 This guy on his motorcycle was driving down the medium On the highway, right by my car, just a foot or so, which I think risks the officer's life.

00:40:33.000 But they told him to do this.

00:40:34.000 He whips around through heavy traffic, weaves in the next three minutes.

00:40:40.000 I knew he was coming up and I said, I bet it's the inspection sticker.

00:40:42.000 Turns his lights on, I pull over.

00:40:44.000 The point is I watched him risk his life.

00:40:48.000 Driving erratically, but that's how they all drive.

00:40:51.000 He's not breaking policy.

00:40:52.000 They're told to go out and risk their lives.

00:40:55.000 And I'm sitting there with horror watching him weaving through the cars to get up to where I'm at.

00:41:01.000 I'd already pulled over in the slow lane so he wouldn't hopefully kill himself, you know, trying to get up on me.

00:41:07.000 And then he comes up, and I took my children to work today, so he comes up, looks at the children in the back.

00:41:12.000 And I looked in the guy's eyes, you know, he was the type who, you know, clearly former military, got into being a peace officer because, you know, it's the job for somebody who's gotten out of the military and he wants to help people.

00:41:25.000 And he says, your inspection sticker's out.

00:41:28.000 I said, yeah, I know I need to get it.

00:41:29.000 He said, well, get it, I'm giving you a warning.

00:41:31.000 And he was nice and, you know, let me go.

00:41:34.000 But the point is that he was risking his life, and I'm just all over the map today, I don't care, because I got here literally at showtime.

00:41:43.000 He was risking his life.

00:41:46.000 And this goes into so many facets.

00:41:48.000 I see police hanging their rear ends out on major highways when they pull somebody over that doesn't know to get on the shoulder.

00:41:57.000 I think that's probably why I usually almost always get let off for speeding or anything, is because I actually pull off the road.

00:42:04.000 I notice the people that don't always get a ticket.

00:42:07.000 But the point is, Folks will pull over right on the edge of the shoulder with cars coming by six inches away and the cop will stand there with their hind end out in the highway.

00:42:19.000 You know the number one cause of death for police, and you can look up the numbers, is automobile accident and being hit.

00:42:26.000 It happens all the time.

00:42:26.000 In fact, last time I saw the statistics, it dwarfed how many cops are killed being shot.

00:42:32.000 But they've got cops so scared of being shot, so scared of the citizenry, but they're not scared to be weaving around through traffic to get up there to that person that has their inspection sticker out.

01:21:49.000 The other rallies that have been down there, the phone calls, the newspapers, the Washington Times asking Perry to do the right thing.

01:21:55.000 Why do you think, and I know you don't want to get into inter-party fighting, but just to have the record clear, why do you think it was so hard to get Perry to do the right thing, A, B, what do you make of him claiming, because I call it a lie, I mean he was the Lieutenant Governor before, he knows they had a unanimous vote in the House, he knows you guys had the votes, to say that we don't have the votes, and to say we don't have time, as he said in that video interview, that is outrageous.

01:22:28.000 I mean, the man caught him off guard and perhaps he just misspoke.

01:22:33.000 I mean, I want to thank the best of our governor.

01:22:36.000 He can take the lead on this issue now.

01:22:40.000 He can do much more than I've ever been able to do.

01:22:43.000 And I'm just so thankful that he put it on the call.

01:22:47.000 It's a tremendous opportunity to say that we've got to rein in, out of control, federal bureaucracy.

01:22:56.000 We have state bureaucracies that are out of control as well.

01:23:00.000 And this is the time that we enforce the Constitution.

01:23:03.000 He's spoken a lot about it in his book, Fed Up.

01:23:06.000 And this time to say we're fed up with the TSA, not just the EPA, but the TSA.

01:23:12.000 If there's no statutory authority for what the EPA is doing, then what the TSA is doing, there's no statutory authority for the groping of private parts.

01:23:21.000 And you know, of course, the EPA reinterpreted the laws with respect to clean air and clean water.

01:23:26.000 And so I'm so grateful for his fight there and the Attorney General's.

01:23:30.000 But we, you know, the Constitution, as Jefferson said, is to be a chain that binds down our public officials.

01:23:39.000 And to keep them from hurting the people.

01:23:42.000 And what we have right now is that these general laws being made and then these bureaucrats just go way beyond and doing this ridiculous thing.

01:23:52.000 And we as the public elected officials need to rein them in.

01:23:57.000 And that's what this law is about.

01:23:59.000 Representative Simpson, I want to talk about how we ensure that other little dirty tricks aren't pulled in the Senate by Dewhurst, or I'm told scurrying around, frankly even worse, is the Democrat Senator Kirk Watson, the former nightmarish mayor, land grabber of Austin, the Don of Austin.

01:24:27.000 How are they going to try to kill the legislation now?

01:24:30.000 How do we ensure the legislation gets passed?

01:24:33.000 Well, I'm very thankful for the Lieutenant Governor asking for it.

01:47:40.000 And I interviewed the different members of the State House, and they said, we just know Rick Perry, who's claimed he supports this bill, is going to put it on the special session.
