Alex Jones Show - 20120905_Wed_Alex

00:00:00.000 Big Brother.

00:00:07.000 Mainstream media.

00:00:08.000 Government cover-ups.

00:00:11.000 You want answers?

00:00:12.000 Well, so does he.

00:00:14.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

00:00:18.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.

00:00:41.000 My friends, we have another joint full of key information to cover on this September 5th, 2012, Wednesday edition.

00:00:53.000 We're going to be here for the next three hours.

00:00:55.000 Coming up, Dr. Richard Stallman, one of the main inventors of OpenFree software, GNU and others.

00:01:03.000 He'll be joining us to talk about all the Trojan horses built into the entire infrastructure that he's been warning of for more than two decades.

00:01:11.000 Turning our entire planet into a DARPA-run control group.

00:01:16.000 Chris Hedges, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, writer for the New York Times and other major publications, who has been somewhat successfully suing the federal government over the NDAA, will be joining us for 30 minutes as well to start in the next hour.

00:01:31.000 And this is going to be a big broadcast lined up today, especially when we've got cases of people now being arrested at airports and on the streets.

00:01:41.000 at the DNC because they're protesting peacefully and the Department of Defense is over it.

00:01:48.000 They're calling it low-level terrorism and likening it to bombing the Pentagon to protest.

00:01:55.000 And they asked the judges, hold them in jail.

00:01:57.000 They plan to protest, which is terrorism, as our policy says it is.

00:02:03.000 Now, being on the watch list, which no judge, jury puts you on, you just get arrested.

00:02:09.000 So the NDAA is being implemented, and it's just happening like it's no big deal.

00:02:14.000 Also, I mentioned this briefly yesterday, but I only mentioned one small area of it, that it's usually government that's leaking data on purpose.

00:02:24.000 But hackers embarrass Apple with data leak, and this is tens of millions, 12 million plus, Apple passcodes.

00:02:37.000 Apple ID, so they can get into everything with that, basically.

00:02:41.000 And so if you have an Apple ID, you need to change it right now.

00:02:46.000 But the point is, by the way, I have Apple devices.

00:02:48.000 They haven't been sending me messages saying, change my passcode.

00:02:52.000 So there you go, because they're complicit. 0.74

00:02:54.000 And it just shows the chronic ignorance.

00:02:58.000 Of the media, because most of these aren't even operatives, they're just pulled from generations of dumbed down, compartmentalized people, that in the Telecommunications Act of 96, of 2001, and in other major pieces of legislation, it funds and mandates back doors in everything.

00:03:18.000 All smartphones, all cell phones, all computers, all washers and dryers, alarm clocks, AM, FM, radio, VHF, UHF, cable systems, satellites, IP companies with more than...

00:03:37.000 Internet companies with more than 100 customers.

00:03:42.000 It's all in there.

00:03:43.000 The hubs are built in.

00:03:44.000 As I said, the phone companies are the NSA.

00:03:47.000 I told you that in 1996 because I read the Stinkin' Telecommunications Act, which engineers, I was only on the radio in Austin then, contacted me and came to the radio station and said, read this.

00:03:57.000 It's the Telecommunications Act.

00:03:58.000 I went and checked.

00:03:59.000 And they said, I can't tell you what's going on, but the phone company is the NSA.

00:04:04.000 I had whistleblowers just like five years ago, the guy in San Francisco came out and said, they've got whole rooms, whole floors.

00:04:13.000 I mean, we broke this in 96, not because I'm special.

00:04:16.000 I had a radio show.

00:04:18.000 They knew I'd put it on.

00:04:19.000 They brought it to me.

00:04:22.000 I had a time warner.

00:04:24.000 Engineer contact me and go, the new digital scientific Atlantic systems have a microphone.

00:04:29.000 The computers are listening to you with keyword.

00:04:31.000 Later it came out.

00:04:33.000 I had the same engineer say these OnStars are being listened to.

00:04:36.000 We can see how many times they're being accessed.

00:04:39.000 They're being accessed millions of times a week.

00:04:41.000 They're listening in live time.

00:04:43.000 Later came out in the news. 0.94

00:04:47.000 Now they kill these people when they try to get info out.

00:04:50.000 I mean, we're deep into this.

00:04:52.000 It's all totally illegal.

00:04:54.000 But the FBI, playing on ignorance, says, we're not.

00:04:58.000 We didn't have your code.

00:05:02.000 Alex Jones here with a great way to beat the blackouts, get off the grid, and generate your own supply of electrical power.

00:05:08.000 Folks, with what's been going on in this country, I don't have to tell you about the power grid and just how vulnerable it is.

00:05:14.000 That's in the mainstream news every day.

00:05:16.000 Millions of people have lost their power in the last few weeks because of dangerous storms and killer heat that's pushing the grid beyond its capacity.

00:05:24.000 I've always said that every family needs to be ready for blackouts.

00:05:28.000 And if you don't have a backup system in place, I've got a great opportunity for you.

00:05:32.000 Right now, our good friends at Solutions from Science are offering huge savings on their best-selling Power Hub unit.

00:05:39.000 In fact, I think it's the best deal I've ever seen them make.

00:05:42.000 It's literally thousands of dollars in savings.

00:05:45.000 Remember, these backup systems don't need gas because they're solar-powered.

00:05:49.000 That means there's no dangerous fumes and no noise.

00:05:52.000 InfoWars listeners can get all the details at BeatTheBlackouts.com.

00:05:57.000 That's BeatTheBlackouts.com.

00:08:13.000 You are listening to The Alex Jones Show.

00:08:40.000 Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much for joining us on this Wednesday, 5th day of the 2012 edition of The Alex Jones Show.

00:08:52.000 We do have Chris Hedges, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist.

00:08:56.000 ...who has been somewhat successfully suing the Occupational Banker Government over the NDAA, where they say they will secretly, and now are, disappearing American citizens off the street.

00:09:08.000 They've now shifted from Al-Qaeda being the reason they're abolishing the Bill of Rights and Constitution.

00:09:15.000 Over to domestic groups that do not support the New World Order.

00:09:20.000 And openly saying, if you don't accept foreign banks quote, occupying the U.S.

00:09:25.000 and quote, making us slaves of international banks, then you're a terrorist. 0.64

00:09:30.000 So they've pretty much gone from denying all this exists, to saying if you don't accept it, you're the terrorist.

00:09:36.000 Which is what you'd expect by a foreign corporate takeover of your government.

00:09:42.000 And now here we are, they're trying to shirk The move towards shutting down freedom on the web and a lot more.

00:09:50.000 Okay.

00:09:51.000 Also, Dr. Richard Stallman dealing with all the different backdoor systems built into your cell phones, built into your smart meters, built into your washers and dryers.

00:10:02.000 Everything tracking you.

00:10:03.000 The FBI caught, as usual, one agent with the passcodes to 12 million people's computers.

00:10:11.000 I mean, that's how they operate.

00:10:13.000 Google, I told you a decade ago, when they first launched those Google cars, or about nine years ago, to be technical, was driving around for the NSA, hacking your computer and stealing your data.

00:10:25.000 Because it's not really hacking, because they have the access master codes already hard built into all the major computers.

00:10:31.000 They mandate if a Chinese, South Korean, Singaporean Indian ships are to be sold in the West in agreements.

00:10:42.000 They have to have back doors built into them so that governments and corporations can instantly access your computer and track you, watch you, listen to you.

00:10:53.000 This is in all the patents Google, uh, seven years ago put out press releases to its shareholders admitting they're watching you in your home.

00:10:53.000 Uh, in live time.

00:11:00.000 They're listening to every word you say.

00:11:02.000 They are the NSA.

00:11:03.000 Oh, it's so fun. 1.00

00:11:04.000 You're such an idiot. 1.00

00:11:05.000 Uh, but then when you complain about it, they say, oh, conspiracy theory, even though it's in a press release. 1.00

00:11:10.000 So that's how they operate.

00:11:12.000 And then when people finally start going, hey, there's backdoor tech built into all the chips, they go, yes, the Communist Chinese, they did it. 0.91

00:11:21.000 They've got backdoors in all of our defense tech.

00:11:26.000 They're hacking in, and missile systems are failing, and the phoenix gun system is failing on board the destroyers.

00:11:33.000 It's those dirty commies that the bankers set up in power in 49, putting Mao Zedong in. 0.98

00:11:39.000 The Rockefellers bragged in the New York Times, 1977, I have copies of it in the endgame blueprint for global enslavement, went to the UT Law Library, pulled up the New York Times, right there praising how they put the commies in. 0.99

00:11:52.000 And pay to ship all our jobs, and have tax incentives to move, or pay to move entire factories over there with your tax money.

00:12:00.000 But then say, give your rights up, the commie Chinese are going to get you. 1.00

00:12:03.000 Gotta love that.

00:12:05.000 Or if you're against endless wars and the New World Order, oh, you must be pro-China. 0.92

00:12:10.000 See, that's the little mind games they play. 1.00

00:12:13.000 You see, the globalists are neo-colonialists, but they're not just colonizing the third world, they're now de-industrializing in a takeover move the first world.

00:12:24.000 That's their real program.

00:12:27.000 And then they have a bunch of low-level, acolyte, quote, communist, socialist liberals who are anti-Western, who believe they're destroying the West to build up the third world, but really, In actuality, it's destroying the third world and the wealthy West, which has come out in the Copenhagen climate change treaties, global tax treaties, where they admit it's for world government.

00:12:49.000 I mean, it's just all there.

00:12:51.000 It is a neo-feudalistic, anti-industrialization program being carried out against the population of the world.

00:13:02.000 But the neocons will tell you in movies like 2016 Obama's America that, oh, he's just anti-American.

00:13:10.000 And so that's why he's paying to shut down our jobs and paying to shut down our power plants and doing all of this.

00:13:15.000 Well, Mitt Romney supports shutting down the power plants.

00:13:18.000 Mitt Romney has the exact same policies in actuality because he's run by the same interest.

00:13:23.000 Why is Obama put in power by Goldman Sachs?

00:13:26.000 JPMorgan Chase.

00:13:27.000 Why didn't the Republicans tell you about that?

00:13:31.000 No, they want you to think he's a communist who wants to destroy America.

00:13:34.000 No, no, no. 1.00

00:13:35.000 He's a globalist minion leading a crew of communists who are too stupid to understand the real program. 1.00

00:13:44.000 You know, they do this in most theorem in the last 120 years or so. 1.00

00:13:48.000 They shifted from wide-spectrum research to a dogmatic teaching system in universities.

00:13:55.000 Of competing theories that, well, nature is what makes you the man you are or the woman you are.

00:14:00.000 No, it's nurture.

00:14:03.000 Well, no, it's both nature and nurture.

00:14:06.000 Or they come out with theorems on, does environment cause illness?

00:14:12.000 The amount of food you're getting, malnutrition.

00:14:15.000 That was the dominant theory until about 1900, that that's what allows germs to make you sick.

00:14:22.000 And then they said, no, no, no, it's the germ itself and it's your genetics.

00:14:27.000 Well, it's both.

00:14:28.000 It's both theorems.

00:14:29.000 But one theory fell out, one thesis fell out, the other then became the orthodoxy.

00:14:36.000 When you actually study All of these different thought processes the globalists put out, there's truth in all of them.

00:14:44.000 And the globalists have higher level specialized schools where they unify the fields and say, here's how you really think.

00:14:52.000 They have special economic schools above the Chicago Business School, above the Chicago School of Economics.

00:15:00.000 And I've had former MI6 officers on about this, I've had top bankers on, I've had top regulators on, top economists, to break this down, how you're then sent to special schools when they're ready to make you a vice president.

00:15:15.000 And they're like, now here's how it really works!

00:15:17.000 Sit down, Mr. Beale!

00:15:19.000 Can we queue up the network Howard Beale speech?

00:15:24.000 Not the one where he's mad as Hades, I'm not going to take any more.

00:15:26.000 The one where Howard Beale goes to visit Uh, the head of the company. 0.81

00:15:32.000 And he says, sit down, Mr. Beale.

00:15:34.000 There are no more nations.

00:15:35.000 There are no more countries.

00:15:36.000 There are no more cultures. 1.00

00:15:37.000 There is only corporations.

00:15:39.000 And each of you is a, has a piece of stock.

00:15:42.000 Well, no, what he's really saying is, each of you is a piece of stock, a human resource, and humanity is seen as cheap. 0.97

00:15:49.000 Humanity is seen as trash to be carried away. 0.99

00:15:55.000 The New World Order is teaching us that we're scum, teaching us we're ugly, teaching us we're bad, teaching us we're not fulfilled, preparing us with a racial memory to accept what they will call the end of the world. 1.00

00:16:09.000 They have all the religions teaching it, they have the New Agers teaching it, but the end of the world's coming, and so lay down and die. 1.00

00:16:18.000 It is a kill switch built into our psyche to give up. 0.88

00:16:22.000 And they're teaching you that you are to be aborted.

00:16:26.000 They don't just want to abort 50 million babies in America, 52 million, in the last 39 years.

00:16:32.000 They want to get you ready to abort the natural development of humanity to satisfy the crazed ego of 180 IQ globalists who still are missing the deeper empathy and understanding and who are so power-mad they know they're getting blowback From what they're doing, opening the Pandora's box, opening the Ark of the Covenant, and all that's shooting out of it at them, but they cannot help it.

00:17:00.000 They are like moths to flame.

00:17:03.000 And yes, they're on fire with incredible intellects, but they're missing spiritual intelligence, spiritual discernment. 0.97

00:17:11.000 They are not spiritually smart.

00:17:15.000 And because of that, they may actually create the end of the world scenario that they use to make everybody stand down.

00:17:23.000 So, we do face the end of the world if we don't wake up and take action.

00:17:30.000 And, again, even if you believe it's the end of the world next week, the end of the world as we know it.

00:17:35.000 The idea of turning loose of your destiny and just saying it's all over because somebody told you it was the end of the world is giving up on your destiny to live to the fullest.

00:17:49.000 And see, that's why they don't want you to think you have a spirit or a soul.

00:17:52.000 Because if you don't, well then you won't care if it's the end of the world.

00:17:55.000 You'll just selfishly go out and cheat other people and abuse yourself and never develop to a higher level.

00:18:02.000 But if you understand that there are things that transcend these earth suits, if you understand that innately, from your own experience, and the flow of time, there is no past, there is no present, there is no future, there is the flow of time.

00:18:19.000 What happened a trillion years ago happened and is happening and is flowing forward now.

00:18:24.000 Do you understand that?

00:18:27.000 I didn't read that in a book.

00:18:28.000 I inherently know that and the controllers know that.

00:18:32.000 And so they can teach you that nothing matters.

00:18:33.000 Well, you'll just turn loose of the reins.

00:18:35.000 You'll turn loose of the wheel.

00:18:36.000 You'll turn loose of the rudder.

00:18:38.000 You'll turn loose of the direction and just give it to these people that crave it so much.

00:18:42.000 And they'll be able to program you like a machine.

00:18:45.000 But the minute you realize that there's more than just this body...

00:18:49.000 The minute you realize the mystery and the magic and the power all around you, the minute you tune in to just how incredible you are, the minute you discover that, the minute you find that secret, the minute you unlock that door, the minute you open that door, the universe lies before you, a veritable stairway to heaven!

00:19:11.000 And they don't want you to ever have that!

00:19:15.000 They don't want you to ever have access to that!

00:19:19.000 They want you to calmly march off into the night.

00:19:22.000 They want you to not exist.

00:19:24.000 They want you to not be conscious.

00:19:27.000 So they don't have to contend with you. 0.96

00:19:29.000 They want to beat you over the head with a hammer. 0.99

00:19:31.000 They want to lobotomize you. 0.99

00:19:34.000 But they will fail!

00:19:35.000 Now when we come back, it is incredible economic news that I will cover.

00:19:40.000 Incredible TSA news, incredible NSA news, incredible war news, incredible AP, Washington Post, Detroit Free Press, CNN, all attacking Alex Jones at Infowars.com.

00:24:16.000 I'm wound up about freedom.

00:24:18.000 I'm wound up about trying to motivate and awaken my beloved humanity.

00:24:25.000 All of us are brothers and sisters in the fight for freedom, in the fight for consciousness, in the fight for truth, in the fight for not being slaves, in the fight to destroy and smash into the ground in the information war the control freaks that would suppress humanity, those who are afraid of unleashing the true power and true potential.

00:24:45.000 Enemies of progress!

00:24:47.000 Enemies of our destiny!

00:24:49.000 Enemies!

00:24:52.000 Eternal enemies!

00:24:55.000 I have sworn on the altar of God, eternal resistance over every form of tyranny!

00:25:01.000 Alright, let's just stop right there.

00:25:06.000 This is a short segment.

00:25:07.000 I'm going to come back in the next segment and try to focus myself here.

00:25:12.000 Get into this.

00:25:12.000 We have an excellent example of mind control manipulation, a massive PR campaign.

00:25:19.000 We covered one yesterday, launched over the weekend, saying that organic food was a ripoff.

00:25:23.000 You know, you need pesticide, hormone-laden, GMO-laden McDonald's.

00:25:29.000 And we countered that.

00:25:31.000 We've got a huge report dealing with The 1.4 billion bullets.

00:25:38.000 How do you derail an awakening to the fact the government isn't our government and is in a huge arms race building up against us?

00:25:47.000 How do you do that?

00:25:48.000 Same way you try to derail an awakening to drones.

00:25:50.000 We're going to break that down after the break here and get into just so much more.

00:25:55.000 Apple, you know, the FBI with your passcode without warrants watching everything you do.

00:25:59.000 I mean, I'm going to give you the full breakdown.

00:26:01.000 But since I mentioned the 1974-75 film Network, Where Howard Beale, the newscaster who's woken up to reality, and that we're being fed a bunch of lies, he wakes up, he gets called in by the real salesman.

00:26:18.000 Who, you know, is the head of this major corporation, because he knows how to sell.

00:26:24.000 Came up from selling sewing machines, or whatever he tells him.

00:26:27.000 And in this, the New World Order is throwing in your face the corporate line I've been given by big presidents and CEOs of media companies years ago when they tried to turn me to the dark side about globalism and how it was really to help people and it was already in place and it was futile to resist.

00:26:42.000 What they don't tell you here, where they're throwing it in your face, because I've been given speeches similar to this off the record, Is that they want to get you into a global economy, not to empower people, but so they can start cutting off the resources and you have nowhere to run.

00:26:58.000 They don't tell you the eugenics end of this.

00:27:00.000 They don't tell you it leads to a high-tech ditch where they shoot you in the head, but they shoot you in the head with bullets of GMO and aspartame and fluoride and MSG.

00:27:13.000 So here is the clip, but I'm going to give you the rest of the story.

00:27:16.000 Here it is.

00:27:18.000 You have meddled with the primal forces of nature, Mr. Beale, and I won't have it!

00:27:26.000 Is that clear?

00:27:27.000 You think you've merely stopped a business deal?

00:27:31.000 That is not the case!

00:27:32.000 The Arabs have taken billions of dollars out of this country, and now they must put it back! 1.00

00:27:38.000 It is ebb and flow!

00:27:39.000 Tidal gravity!

00:27:41.000 It is ecological balance!

00:27:44.000 You are an old man who thinks in terms of nations and peoples. 0.99

00:27:50.000 There are no nations.

00:27:51.000 There are no peoples.

00:27:53.000 There are no Russians.

00:27:54.000 There are no Arabs.

00:27:55.000 There are no Third Worlds.

00:27:56.000 There is no West.

00:27:58.000 There is only one holistic system of systems.

00:28:03.000 One vast and immane, interwoven, interacting, multivariate, multinational dominion of dollars.

00:28:12.000 Petrodollars, Electrodollars, Multidollars, Reichmarks, Rings, Rubles, Pounds and Shekels.

00:28:22.000 It is the international system of currency which determines the totality of life on this planet.

00:28:31.000 That is the natural order of things today.

00:28:37.000 That is the atomic and sub-atomic and galactic structure of things today!

00:28:49.000 And you have meddled with the primal forces of nature!

00:28:56.000 And you will atone!

00:29:02.000 Am I getting through to you, Mr. Beale?

00:29:08.000 You get up on your little 21 inch screen and howl about America and democracy.

00:29:19.000 There is no America.

00:29:21.000 There is no democracy.

00:29:23.000 There is only IBM and ITT and AT&T.

00:29:29.000 And DuPont, Dow, Union Carbide.

00:29:32.000 All right.

00:29:33.000 And he goes on to say, and each of you gets a piece of stock.

00:29:36.000 No, you're seen as a stock, a human resource that's traded, and they're using their control over the fiat currency to unfairly consolidate control and play God.

00:29:47.000 That's the rest of the story he didn't tell Beale.

00:29:51.000 We're on the march.

00:29:52.000 The empire's on the run.

00:29:55.000 Alex Jones and the GCN Radio Network.

00:30:01.000 Hi, this is Alex Jones.

00:30:03.000 Did you know that the global elite are now storing non-hybrid seeds in secret storage vaults near the Arctic Circle?

00:30:08.000 Did you know that in a real meltdown, non-hybrid seeds can become more valuable than silver or gold?

00:30:13.000 It's true.

00:30:14.000 Seeds have outperformed even gold and silver before in this country, and it's possible they could even happen again.

00:30:19.000 So our friends at Solutions from Science have put together the perfect mix of non-hybrid seeds. 0.84

00:30:24.000 They call it a Survival Seed Bank.

00:30:26.000 And it can produce an endless supply of nutrient-dense food for you and your family.

00:30:31.000 And here's the best part.

00:30:32.000 These seeds have not been genetically modified in any way.

00:31:01.000 The worst drought in 50 years continues, and the first six months of 2012 marks the hottest half year on record.

00:31:07.000 78% of the Midwest corn belt is in drought conditions.

00:31:10.000 Not only corn, but soy, alfalfa, fruits, vegetables, and wheat are all impacted, raising prices.

00:31:15.000 The cost to feed livestock is forcing farmers and ranchers out of business, blowing up your food prices.

00:31:20.000 The only strategy to counter this is to freeze your food cost at today's prices by getting your own supply of foods from eFoods Direct now.

00:33:12.000 You want answers?

00:33:13.000 Well, so does he.

00:33:15.000 It's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

00:33:25.000 Welcome back, my friends.

00:33:26.000 I appreciate you joining us today on this Wednesday transmission.

00:33:33.000 Coming up, Chris Hedges, Pulitzer Prize winner, to give us the latest on the police state and his fight against the NDAA.

00:33:41.000 And American citizens now disappearing off the streets for the crime of terrorism.

00:33:46.000 And what's terrorism?

00:33:48.000 Peacefully protesting.

00:33:50.000 And the LAPD is now arresting people in their front lawns taking photos, saying it's terrorism.

00:33:56.000 They've got the deputy police chief quoted in the news saying, well, they're terrorists.

00:34:00.000 We know of five cells operating in LA.

00:34:03.000 Really, you do, huh?

00:34:08.000 You mean the 10,000 missiles our government gave Al-Qaeda in Libya and now Syria?

00:34:12.000 By the way, they're on the news blowing up hospitals and blowing up and attacking airports and threatening civilian terrorism and being praised by NATO. 0.53

00:34:21.000 NATO is advising Al-Qaeda to blow up hospitals and it's in the London Telegraph.

00:34:26.000 Gee, Al-Qaeda, good job blowing up that hospital! 0.99

00:34:29.000 That's the biggest war crime you can do! 0.98

00:34:32.000 Oh, you're blowing up ambulances now!

00:34:34.000 Oh, man, you're... Man, Al-Qaeda, they're really good guys, I tell ya. 1.00

00:34:38.000 That Alex Jones, he's a traitor. 0.87

00:34:39.000 He doesn't like Al-Qaeda. 0.90

00:34:41.000 I got a big stack of news on that.

00:34:42.000 I mean, it's all reached Twilight Zone proportions.

00:34:47.000 The TSA has come out and responded and said, you bet.

00:34:50.000 When we see you buy a Starbucks coffee or a Coca-Cola at McDonald's inside the airport, past the checkpoints, we're gonna come up and check and see if it's a bomb.

00:34:59.000 And they said we like to be, quote, unpredictable.

00:35:02.000 That's the little cheeky response.

00:35:04.000 It's all just that arrogance. 1.00

00:35:05.000 Hey, we know it's stupid. 1.00

00:35:07.000 It's about you doing stupid stuff when we give the orders, you little puny ant. 1.00

00:35:11.000 You got that, scum? 1.00

00:35:12.000 Good. 1.00

00:35:13.000 I'm glad you do, because next we're on the highway and then your house.

00:35:18.000 And the police under federal grants are going to take your blood. 0.68

00:35:21.000 And we're going to take your blood to get a driver's license.

00:35:24.000 You know how we do it?

00:35:25.000 It's a Bill Clinton executive order.

00:35:27.000 So it supersedes the Constitution.

00:35:29.000 And now we're implementing it, Jack.

00:35:31.000 And we're also implementing inoculating your kids with deadly vaccines without your consent.

00:35:36.000 Doesn't matter if it's illegal.

00:35:38.000 The governor signed an executive order. 1.00

00:35:40.000 Pound sand scum! 1.00

00:35:47.000 Because we're keeping you safe from Al-Qaeda! 1.00

00:35:50.000 Yeah! 0.98

00:35:52.000 We're gonna jam this needle in your kid and about a few will have seizures and be brain damaged, others will die, others will get cancer a decade later. 0.98

00:36:00.000 Because we love you! 0.98

00:36:05.000 We love you!

00:36:07.000 Makes me sick how out in the open it is.

00:36:10.000 See, I'm not in a trance.

00:36:12.000 I'm not helpless.

00:36:13.000 I'm not Stockholm Syndrome victim number 300 million.

00:36:17.000 I'm awake.

00:36:18.000 I see what's going on.

00:36:19.000 And let me tell you, they're killing millions of us.

00:36:23.000 Hundreds of thousands with this, hundreds of thousands with that.

00:36:25.000 You know, the chem weapons, the cancer, the heart disease, the brain damage, the neurological disorders.

00:36:33.000 They're killing us on the left, they're killing us on the right. 0.99

00:36:36.000 And I'm sitting here watching their murder machine just roll on, just chewing people up, sucking them in and blasting them as bloody hunks out the back. 0.99

00:36:44.000 I'm supposed to I'm supposed to just go along with it all. 0.97

00:36:47.000 The government's got a race for the cure, not a race to find the cause why it's exploding.

00:36:53.000 No, let's have the very people running the whole thing. 1.00

00:36:56.000 Let's go raise money to give it to them to develop a cure for the elite, which we'll never get.

00:37:02.000 Well, they kill us.

00:37:03.000 They give us cancer like rats, and then study how to cure even the worst cases on us.

00:37:08.000 That's why they call MD Rockefeller Medicine the practice.

00:37:12.000 They practice on you!

00:37:15.000 Just like psychologists a hundred years ago in front of their students, you can put the photos online.

00:37:20.000 Pull up psychiatrist lobotomizing someone photos, and it'll show all sorts of black and whites, there's even old film footage in the 20s where you know you've got somebody sitting there scrapped down and all the psychiatrists are laughing, the psychiatry students, and they just take an ice pick and go rah!

00:37:35.000 You see the weird psycho look?

00:37:38.000 In the photos, there's film of him doing it up in the 20s and 30s, just groogling an ice pick in the front of the brain.

00:37:45.000 Just crazed getting off on it.

00:37:47.000 It's like a murderer in a back alley wants to jam a ice pick in somebody's head, but they do it right in front of everybody because they're wearing a white lab coat of the high priest.

00:37:56.000 Oh yeah!

00:37:58.000 Oh yeah!

00:38:00.000 And we just take it because they wear a blue uniform, they wear a white lab coat, while the Queen of England, she wears a big crown with jewels in it!

00:38:09.000 I mean, she's got an ancient headdress on! 0.99

00:38:12.000 How about we all run to some deserted island and try to find some pygmy king and bow down to somebody in New Guinea who's eating his neighbors because he's got big plumes of the paradise Bird in his head and nobody else is allowed to wear those, so we just fall down and say, kill me, eat me, chop my heart out, because you're government, you're God! 1.00

00:38:40.000 Oh, thank you for everything you do! 1.00

00:38:43.000 Thank you for all the scum! 1.00

00:38:44.000 Thank you for all the trash! 1.00

00:38:46.000 Thank you for organizing armies of nothing control freaks with stunted brains to rule over greater men and women! 1.00

00:38:52.000 Thank you for all the ugliness you rot! 1.00

00:38:54.000 Thank you for all the disease! 1.00

00:38:56.000 Thank you for all the stupidity! 1.00

00:38:58.000 Thank you for all that flows out of your hell pit! 1.00

00:39:05.000 Our humanity is just kicking at the gates like a battering ram to ram down the enemy's fortress.

00:39:13.000 And to see you rise.

00:39:15.000 RISE!

00:39:16.000 RISE!

00:39:17.000 AWAKEN!

00:39:19.000 COME ALIVE!

00:39:23.000 Refind your humanity! 0.99

00:39:25.000 And they call this being a maniac.

00:39:30.000 I call this being alive.

00:39:33.000 Alive!

00:39:35.000 Alive!

00:39:38.000 Yes!

00:39:39.000 More! 0.72

00:39:40.000 I wanna be alive!

00:39:43.000 And that concludes the rant portion of this transmission.

00:39:51.000 I need to go ahead and get into the news.

00:39:55.000 But I'm here ranting, because this is how I feel.

00:39:58.000 I've tried intellectual debates, I've shown you the facts, everything.

00:40:01.000 And all I know is, all I can do is show you your own humanity that's in me.

00:40:05.000 Show you the fires of liberty.

00:40:07.000 Show you what built the Panama Canal.

00:40:10.000 What built the plane at Kitty Hawk.

00:40:12.000 What built the Saturn rockets.

00:40:13.000 What created the music of Beethoven, who would run around crazed in his studio.

00:40:18.000 Just like I am right now.

00:40:19.000 This is what creates civilization!

00:40:21.000 This is what humanity is!

00:40:23.000 This is who we are!

00:40:28.000 All right.

00:40:31.000 Refind your humanity.

00:40:33.000 Refind your resistance.

00:40:34.000 You are under attack.

00:40:36.000 The head of Chris Hedges joining us, I need to settle down and cover the news here.

00:40:45.000 I just hate seeing my people slaughtered.

00:40:48.000 I hate seeing you hurt. 1.00

00:40:50.000 I hate seeing you dumbed down. 1.00

00:40:51.000 I hate the crime of shattering your intellect. 1.00

00:40:54.000 I hate it.

00:40:56.000 I want you to succeed.

00:40:57.000 I want you to have everything.

00:40:59.000 I want you to be successful.

00:41:00.000 I want to be successful.

00:41:02.000 And I am one with humanity.

00:41:04.000 You are one with humanity.

00:41:05.000 And I want all of us to live and our progeny to have a future.

00:41:09.000 I want to see spacecraft launch with colonies to go to those nearest stars where we're already discovering clearly habitable worlds.

00:41:20.000 But if the globalists have their way, they've decided our development, what they call our evolutionary track.

00:41:24.000 They say that humanity's bad, that we're going to merge with machines.

00:41:27.000 They've already made that decision.

00:41:28.000 That should be a choice.

00:41:30.000 Colonies that wish to merge with machines should go their way.

00:41:33.000 Those of us that wish to develop and to take time need to be able to make our decisions, not have a bunch of crazy globalists With inbred syphilitic design, that's where all this was formed, this master plan 160 years ago, was in that embryonic fetid nursery.

00:41:54.000 And I say it's all a lie and I talk directly to the controllers, you know I know your mind, you know I know your deepest secrets, you know!

00:42:02.000 You have lost your humanity! 1.00

00:42:04.000 You are cancer! 1.00

00:42:05.000 Instead of telling us how we should kill ourselves all day, and how we should stand down, and how we shouldn't breathe, and how we should die, I say you either grow up or you die! 1.00

00:42:14.000 You kill yourselves! 1.00

00:42:16.000 You kill yourselves first! 1.00

00:42:18.000 Show us! 1.00

00:42:19.000 Oh, but no!

00:42:20.000 You've got the special humanity! 0.99

00:42:22.000 You want us to die so you can go forward!

00:42:25.000 I will tell you, you will not ever partake of what God has in store.

00:42:30.000 You will never cross the River Jordan, New World Order. 0.99

00:42:34.000 You will never go to the next level of humanity. 1.00

00:42:37.000 You are damned to hell, and you know it! 1.00

00:42:40.000 You will never be part of it! 1.00

00:42:42.000 You will fail!

00:42:43.000 You failed from the beginning! 0.99

00:42:45.000 excuse me your attack on our species will be grievously visited upon you by yourselves by your own creation your own work God will use the pits you've dug for us to destroy you! 0.99

00:43:12.000 All we need do is testify to the truth, and the fires you've built for us will consume you!

00:43:17.000 And I take no pleasure in that, watching you damned from creation, watching you formed in your mother's womb, Deployed into the world like a torpedo of death to attack everything good. 0.94

00:43:35.000 Alright. 0.97

00:43:42.000 This is why I'm really feeling, ladies and gentlemen, when I'm up here covering the news.

00:43:45.000 This is what I'm really thinking about.

00:43:49.000 Everything they're doing is just window dressing on a predetermined, pre-planned, managed wormhole.

00:43:58.000 That leads us to a very bad place. 0.98

00:44:02.000 A dark vision of these crazy people.

00:44:05.000 That I do not wish to allow them to manifest.

00:44:08.000 And there's a fight between those of us that want goodness and those that want badness.

00:44:13.000 And you've got to choose what you want.

00:44:15.000 And you've got to decide what you serve.

00:44:18.000 But you must decide now!

00:44:21.000 The decision is what is important.

00:44:23.000 And then everything else flows through it.

00:44:26.000 The floodgates will open.

00:44:29.000 Everything flows from the spiritual decision that you're not going to find in these establishment churches that are government-run.

00:44:37.000 And in these dark times and in the age we've now entered, you must understand the truth.

00:44:45.000 All right, let me attempt to get to the news now.

00:44:48.000 I have all these guests coming up.

00:44:51.000 It's like 65 degrees in here, but I'm so hyped up, I'm sweating.

00:44:54.000 All right.

00:45:06.000 Let me just hit this.

00:45:07.000 Not because we're all over the news.

00:45:08.000 Usually when we're in the news, which is every day, I don't even cover it.

00:45:11.000 But when it's informative, I do.

00:45:13.000 So, when it was announced 30,000 drones, FAA funded $46 billion, or 45.6 to be technical, memory serves, this year funded, to put the 30,000 drones in the sky and to authorize it and arming them and the police announcing it.

00:45:29.000 Kurt Nemo wrote an article with a bunch of links to them spying on farmers with manned aircraft and drones in North Dakota and an arrest being made with predator drones and all the rest of it.

00:45:38.000 And the Associated Press, Washington Post, over 500 newspapers that I saw.

00:45:42.000 I went and looked.

00:45:45.000 Overfiler newspapers came up with a hoax a few months ago saying there are no drones, Infowars is lying, DrudgeReport.com is lying.

00:45:54.000 It was manned aircraft spying on people.

00:45:56.000 They just cherry-picked one link in our story and just went off on that to deceive their readers.

00:46:02.000 Now, I was at a Barnes & Noble like 14 years ago.

00:46:06.000 And saw a psychology magazine, and I opened it up, and it was bragging about, in the 50s, British psychological warfare manuals.

00:46:14.000 I've told this story 10 times, I'll tell it again.

00:46:16.000 And I've already organically seen this, but there they were admitting it, that if British mercenaries for the crown killed 10,000 people in an African country for gold or diamonds, they would, before the media got it, they would report that 15 had been killed.

00:46:30.000 And put out a fake story that the troops were killed defending themselves.

00:46:34.000 So that later when it comes out that they...

00:46:37.000 Kill 10,000, plus it's been cold blood to get the area, the whole villages, that people would differentiate and become confused and make the thought process about what's true and kind of like a hacking program, like a slow loris attack, where they just keep having the same request.

00:46:53.000 Is it real?

00:46:54.000 Is it real?

00:46:55.000 They just enter questioning into it.

00:46:57.000 That's why even though most troops know in World War One when loudspeakers are saying Put up your hands, you know, you can go free and they put their hands up and get shot.

00:47:04.000 Most troops figured it out, but still some would panic and put their hands up and be machine gunned.

00:47:09.000 And others would suddenly panic more and be machine gunned.

00:47:12.000 Oh, I'm not being attacked. 0.99

00:47:13.000 Oh, shoot me. 0.99

00:47:14.000 See, it's all psych warfare. 0.95

00:47:15.000 So there they were bragging about it.

00:47:16.000 And that's what this is.

00:47:17.000 They only have like 15 or less attacks they run.

00:47:23.000 NAP, Reuters, CNN.

00:47:24.000 And they think they're real smart because they work at the Ministry of Truth like Winston Smith.

00:47:28.000 And they get to sit there and lie to people.

00:47:30.000 And they're on the winning team.

00:47:32.000 Oh, they're really cool.

00:47:34.000 Oh, it's really cool what they do.

00:47:36.000 So Watson a month ago or so starts reporting off of public purchase orders.

00:47:42.000 250 million rounds of ammo.

00:47:45.000 450 million. 750 million.

00:47:47.000 1.4 billion total.

00:47:49.000 And then hundreds of millions, you know, of future purchases they're now announcing.

00:47:53.000 Now they've, quote, classified it, even though it shouldn't be under federal law.

00:47:56.000 You know, they black it out.

00:47:57.000 They don't even have an authorization to do it.

00:47:59.000 They just do whatever they want now.

00:48:00.000 It's like spying on you without warrants.

00:48:02.000 And so what do they do?

00:48:03.000 Well, about a week ago they started this, but the story keeps growing.

00:48:06.000 They come out in... Let me just go ahead and go over all this for you.

00:48:14.000 They come out in the Detroit Free Press.

00:48:16.000 Literally, just dozens and dozens and dozens of publications.

00:48:19.000 The AP's in hundreds of newspapers a day with this.

00:48:21.000 Social Security, forget conspiracy theories, we bought bullets for fraud agents.

00:48:26.000 Here's AP, why does Social Security need 174,000 bullets?

00:48:31.000 Social Security combats bullet rumors, CNN.

00:48:36.000 On and on and on.

00:48:38.000 What they did is they took out of, I don't know, it's gotta be more than 10 articles Paul Watson wrote about it.

00:48:43.000 DrudgeReport.com linked to them, others did.

00:48:45.000 It became big stories.

00:48:46.000 This was something waking people up.

00:48:48.000 Because our articles had armored vehicles being purchased by the hundreds, armored pillboxes by the hundreds, military drills, checkpoints, 1.4 billion bullets, admissions of preparing for collapse and civil unrest.

00:49:00.000 And we're like, wow, they're really gearing up.

00:49:02.000 So what do you do?

00:49:02.000 You go in and find a link They're like, well, why is the Social Security Administration doing this?

00:49:07.000 Well, why is NOAA doing this, the weather service?

00:49:09.000 They find it and go, oh!

00:49:11.000 And then they go and say, oh, it was a typo, a sub-agency.

00:49:14.000 Well, still, it's about the $1.4 billion.

00:49:16.000 Or, well, we need this for fraud investigations.

00:49:19.000 The hollow point is for target practice, which is clearly a lie.

00:49:22.000 You use ball ammo 99% of the time.

00:49:24.000 The point is, You change the subject to like, oh look at those conspiracy terrorists.

00:49:30.000 That means people concerned about 1.4 plus billion bullets being bought.

00:49:36.000 And they said, the conspiracy theorists said it was for civil unrest, but they're delusional.

00:49:40.000 The articles go on and say, you know, these bad men who get upset about this, the government wouldn't want to hurt you.

00:49:46.000 No, they're just wearing black uniforms, got cameras and beating people everywhere.

00:49:49.000 We have the biggest prison population in the world and we're secretly arresting people now at airports on the streets of Charlotte for peacefully protesting.

00:49:59.000 People like James Tyson and the police, when they got to the jail, they said, well, why are you putting him in there?

00:50:03.000 And they go, well, he was protesting, that's terrorism.

00:50:05.000 And they asked the judge, they said, well, that's the terrorism.

00:50:08.000 He's on the list, that's why he's in jail.

00:50:11.000 No reason to be in jail, you're now on the list, no guns, no rights, no liberty, as Rahm Emanuel said.

00:50:15.000 We've now reached this point, but we're not, you know, our article's about all that.

00:50:20.000 And they make it about, oh, 174,000 bullets.

00:50:23.000 It was for the police.

00:50:25.000 I mean, come on.

00:50:26.000 Now they can't have bullets, and they have law enforcement deans of colleges going, these conspiracy theorists, they're just out of control.

00:50:32.000 We need 174,000 bullets for Social Security Administration.

00:50:35.000 That's completely reasonable.

00:50:36.000 That's only 600 bullets per officer per year.

00:50:39.000 Our article's about 1.4 billion bullets.

00:50:42.000 But see, they changed it with all these little old ladies getting the newspaper out and going, there's that dirty Alex Jones and Matt Drudge again. 1.00

00:50:49.000 Look at them, worried about 1.4 billion bullets.

00:50:52.000 I mean, oh, but they don't tell you the 1.4 billion bullets.

00:50:55.000 They make it about 174,000.

00:50:57.000 Just like British Intel made it about 10 dead, not 10,000 dead.

00:53:00.000 Hi there.

00:53:02.000 My name is Frank Bates.

00:53:04.000 What I'm about to tell you in the next 60 seconds could get me in a lot of trouble.

00:53:07.000 I just created a free video presentation at 123coverup.com that exposes the electricity monopolies and government agencies for what they really are. 0.95

00:53:17.000 Incompetent, lying crooks that are counting on your ignorance and fear to keep your power bills criminally high. 0.96

00:53:23.000 Some have called this a conspiracy. 1.00

00:53:26.000 Others have called it a cover-up and you will be shocked to find out how deep the conspiracy goes.

00:53:31.000 My video at 123coverup.com exposes the truth and shows you the secret of how I beat them and how you can beat them too.

00:53:39.000 Watch the controversial video that thousands of other smart patriots have already seen in the last three months.

00:53:45.000 Go to 123coverup.com and discover one weird trick to slash your power bill and protect your home.

00:53:51.000 Go watch my video now at 123coverup.com before they force me to shut it down.

00:53:57.000 Again, that's 123coverup.com.

00:54:27.000 You know, when I start ranting and raving on air, it's real, but it's not. - I gotta smile.

00:54:37.000 That said, I could control myself and not do it.

00:54:43.000 So it's real, that's how I feel, but I allow myself to do it.

00:54:48.000 I let myself get a little bit out of control because it's therapy.

00:54:52.000 I mean, I'm desperate.

00:54:53.000 I'm upset.

00:54:54.000 I know they're poisoning us and I have all their own documents admitting it.

00:54:58.000 I'm looking at an eco-science written by this White House science czar right over there where he brags about it.

00:55:02.000 I'm upset.

00:55:05.000 And I don't like seeing people trapped in delusion and loving the delusion.

00:55:11.000 With preconditioned, you know, hypnotic programming.

00:55:15.000 I know I'm right.

00:55:17.000 And when you have this kill grid being set up and you have all the torture and the wars and Homeland Security saying no Bill of Rights and Constitution and we the people are the target?

00:55:29.000 If ranting and raving gets people out of their trance, which it does, see at first it's entertainment for people.

00:55:34.000 I always did this naturally.

00:55:36.000 I didn't do it on purpose.

00:55:37.000 I sometimes just got out of control, and it really helped make the show successful.

00:55:42.000 So now in the last few years, when I really feel like ranting, I don't do it as much as I used to.

00:55:47.000 I used to do it out of frustration.

00:55:48.000 Now I've gotten a little more disciplined and focused, so I don't do it as much.

00:55:52.000 But then when I do do it, it's even more out of control because that's how I feel.

00:55:57.000 And so a lot of people like it.

00:56:01.000 Some people don't.

00:56:02.000 I'm sorry.

00:56:03.000 It's real.

00:56:04.000 And, you know, you can't argue with success, but there are, again, the Associated Press is in hundreds of TV stations on their websites posted and hundreds of newspapers.

00:56:15.000 I can't even count them all right now.

00:56:16.000 Basically coming out implying that the bullet story is an exaggeration by us.

00:56:23.000 What they did is divert from the $1.4 billion, find one piece of minutiae, and claim our report was that.

00:56:29.000 That's basically lying by omission.

00:56:32.000 But AP was better than Detroit Free Press.

00:56:34.000 AP, at least, linked to our report so you could see what we really said.

00:56:38.000 Which I have to commend, actually.

00:56:39.000 That's better than what they usually do.

00:56:41.000 Detroit Free Press just called us conspiracy theorists.

00:56:44.000 Yeah, if knowing how things really work is bad and being concerned about ten-plus times the record purchase of ammo they'd ever bought in a year, And all the rest of it.

00:56:56.000 And police arresting people everywhere.

00:56:58.000 You film cops at a stop, they arrest you for terrorism.

00:57:01.000 And you go to jail.

00:57:03.000 It's now in 16 states are doing it.

00:57:04.000 16, it was 12 states just about a year ago.

00:57:10.000 16 states are now doing it.

00:57:12.000 California and Texas are now doing it.

00:57:14.000 And I'm gonna film cops whenever I want.

00:57:16.000 You arrest me and have some kangaroo court put me in prison?

00:57:18.000 That's just the way it is.

00:57:19.000 Hey, that's all on you, okay?

00:57:22.000 And I'm not even against you individually, but just like a German soldier, you work for bad people. 1.00

00:57:28.000 Doesn't matter if you're a good person.

00:57:29.000 You follow orders that are evil, man, you're not my countryman, okay?

00:57:33.000 And forget you were ever my brethren, okay? 0.96

00:57:36.000 Shame on you.

00:57:37.000 And believe me, your forebearers, if they could see what you're doing, would be ashamed of you and would turn their back on you.

00:57:44.000 Bureaucrats, control freaks. 0.99

00:57:50.000 People like that, they would be ashamed of you.

00:57:53.000 But oh, you're on the winning team, and oh, you gotta do bad things to protect us. 0.98

00:57:57.000 Bull.

00:57:58.000 Bull.

00:57:59.000 And it's all coming out, everything we told you.

00:58:01.000 The NSA spying on you, tracker chips and everything.

00:58:04.000 One FBI agent with 12 million Apple IDs.

00:58:08.000 You can go right into your computer, see everything you're doing.

00:58:10.000 No warrant.

00:58:13.000 That's the great danger.

00:58:14.000 It's like, oh, we're doing it to keep you safe, even though it's illegal.

00:58:16.000 No, you're not keeping me safe doing that.

00:58:19.000 And by the way, you funded the Russians, you funded the Communist Chinese, and you created Al-Qaeda. 0.84

00:58:24.000 Because you're not an American, you globalist.

00:58:26.000 You're the foreign banks that have captured Europe and captured this country and now want to make us debt slaves. 0.99

00:58:31.000 So you're turning our economies off to bring us down to our knees.

00:58:36.000 And I'm not going to stand here and take it.

00:58:38.000 This is GCN, the Genesis Communications Radio Network. . .

00:59:46.000 These titles and a lot more are all available at Infowarshop.com.

00:59:54.000 Waging war on corruption.

00:59:56.000 Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

00:59:59.000 Big Brother.

01:00:07.000 Mainstream media.

01:00:08.000 Government cover-ups.

01:00:11.000 You want answers?

01:00:12.000 Well, so does he.

01:00:14.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

01:00:18.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.

01:00:22.000 Well, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Pulitzer Prize winning journalist who's been in a lot of serious war zones and reported on some of the biggest stories of our time is a Pulitzer Prize winner.

01:00:46.000 He is Chris Hedges and the website's truthdig.com.

01:00:50.000 He has a new book out that we're going to be breaking down with him today, Days of Destruction, What Days of Revolt.

01:00:58.000 I can't wait to read it.

01:01:00.000 And he's saying, is revolt all we have left?

01:01:02.000 Well, yeah, there are many forms of revolt.

01:01:05.000 I mean, I went into, you know, basically a preaching fit last hour, but it's effective.

01:01:10.000 It shows my desperation.

01:01:11.000 It's almost like my ghost dance here, wishing that we weren't going into such a fascist, corporatist tyranny.

01:01:18.000 But Chris Hedges joins us, one of the few real liberal voices that you can say is respectable and really makes sense and who doesn't compromise.

01:01:26.000 It's very scary to see none of the main conservatives against torture, Secret War, the end of the Bill of Rights, and really hardly any liberals.

01:01:36.000 In fact, a lot of them love it because it's empowering their precious state that they don't understand is now a corporate instrument.

01:01:42.000 Chris, we're about to go to break here in a few minutes, but I didn't want to waste any time getting you on.

01:01:46.000 Great to have you here, sir.

01:01:49.000 Tell us a little bit about the new book.

01:01:51.000 Well, it goes to the sacrifice zones, the poorest pockets of the country that have been forced to kneel before unfettered corporate capitalism.

01:02:03.000 And it's a kind of warning because they went first and we're next as we allow these corporate forces to reconfigure the country into a form of Neofeudalism, an oligarchic state backed by, you know, the most intrusive security surveillance apparatus probably in the history of humankind.

01:02:25.000 And I speak as somebody who covered the fall of East Germany.

01:02:28.000 I'm very familiar with the Stasi state.

01:02:33.000 And, you know, there are no impediments left.

01:02:35.000 So, you know, it looks at places like Camden, New Jersey, which per capita is the poorest city in the United States, not surprisingly also one of the most dangerous, Pine Ridge, South Dakota, Lakota, Indian Reservation, where the average life expectancy for a male is 48.

01:02:52.000 That is the lowest in the Western Hemisphere, outside of Haiti.

01:02:56.000 The coal fields of southern West Virginia, one of the most minerally rich pockets of the United States, and yet, of course, harbors the poorest population along with terrible ecological devastation.

01:03:10.000 And finally, the produce fields, where these undocumented workers, who are the perfect worker, In the eyes of the corporate state, because they have no legal rights. 1.00

01:03:21.000 They can be abused.

01:03:22.000 There are no benefits.

01:03:24.000 They work day by day.

01:03:26.000 They show up in collection centers.

01:03:28.000 When they don't have enough work, they sleep out literally under mango trees in Florida.

01:03:32.000 And then we finally end with the Occupy Movement, which is, again, you know, with the title of the book, Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt.

01:03:40.000 That first bubbling, I think, of consciousness Of revolt, of a recognition that we have undergone a corporate coup d'etat in slow motion and it's over.

01:03:52.000 Citizens United probably nailed the last peg in the coffin and civil disobedience is, I think, all we have left.

01:04:00.000 Now we're going to go to break here in a moment and come back and get into your case against the NDAA and all the amazing work you're engaged in, and just some of the signposts that we see showing that this, from my view, has been a conscious, RAND Corporation talked about it 15 years ago, construction of a system designed to implode the economy under a feudal system, as you said, using poverty as political

01:04:24.000 Control because you can say what you want about America and what it's done the last hundred years But even in the 40 50 60s there was a plan to build up the third world and stuff now it is No, make everybody poor and have private cities the elites live in and it's such a evil Malthusian view I want to get your well-traveled expert view on this from your perspective and talk about the book and Straight ahead after this break, amazing interview coming up with Chris Hedges.

01:04:52.000 Truthdig.com will tell you more about the book, Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt.

01:07:56.000 You are either with the republic or against it.

01:08:09.000 Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.

01:08:14.000 It's Alex Jones.

01:08:19.000 That's right, and it was Thomas Jefferson that said, resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.

01:08:24.000 Many other founders said similar things.

01:08:27.000 But the point is that we are going into a classical tyranny.

01:08:33.000 No one can deny it.

01:08:36.000 The NSA has been caught spying on everyone in live time, totally illegal.

01:08:41.000 They're arresting people, torturing them, torturing their children in front of them at Abu Ghraib.

01:08:46.000 Bush brags about it in his book and doesn't get in trouble, even though his minions went to jail.

01:08:51.000 And now Obama has accelerated it and Romney signals he's going to accelerate it.

01:08:56.000 We're in deep trouble.

01:08:57.000 We've got an amazing guest joining us, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist who has covered, you name it, the Stasi, the Russians, and many tyrannies.

01:09:10.000 He's been in high-level coverage of negotiations all over the Middle East, and he sued earlier this year over the NDAA that Obama signed on December 31st, when he thought no one was paying attention, 2011.

01:09:26.000 He has a new book just out.

01:09:28.000 Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt.

01:09:31.000 We're going to talk about that.

01:09:32.000 We've only gotten to the bottom of the hour.

01:09:34.000 He's, again, gracious to join us.

01:09:36.000 A very busy man.

01:09:37.000 And I want to talk about his NDAA suit.

01:09:40.000 It's having some success.

01:09:41.000 I want to get his take on everything that's unfolding.

01:09:44.000 But now we have activists put on terror watch lists preventing protesting D.N.C.

01:09:49.000 Turned up the Army, the ACLU.

01:09:51.000 Here's the ACLU press release just out yesterday on it.

01:09:54.000 They got the document where the Army, D.O.D.

01:09:56.000 did it.

01:09:57.000 And they say in here that it's low-level terrorism to protest and ask the court to keep him in jail because protesting is now illegal.

01:10:06.000 We are seeing again the FBI caught with 12 million IDs of folks with Apple computers.

01:10:13.000 Here joining us to break it down is Chris Hedges, who I don't really need to go over more of his bio here.

01:10:20.000 Most people know who he is or should know who he is, but he joins us now.

01:10:27.000 Chris, what is the state of the world in your view?

01:10:30.000 Well, I think, you know, one of the things we have to be clear about is that the assault on civil liberties, which began under the Bush administration, has in fact been accelerated by the Obama administration.

01:10:42.000 It's worse under Obama than under Bush when you tick off all the things that the Obama administration has done over the last four years.

01:10:51.000 Refusal to restore habeas corpus.

01:10:54.000 Interpretation of the 2001 Authorization to Use Military Force Act as giving the executive branch the right to assassinate American citizens, whatever you think of these figures, like Anwar al-Awlaki, the Yemeni cleric, And then, of course, his 16-year-old son, who was never accused of anything two weeks later,

01:11:13.000 The FISA Amendment Act, which one of the plaintiffs will be heard in the Supreme Court on October 29th, which retroactively made legal, but under our Constitution has always been illegal, the warrantless wiretapping, monitoring, and eavesdropping of tens of millions Of American citizens who have done nothing, been charged with no crime, and we know that all of our personal information is now being stored out in supercomputers in Utah.

01:11:42.000 The Obama administration has also employed six times the Espionage Act Which was never designed to ferret out whistleblowers as they are using it.

01:11:53.000 These are people who have exposed war crimes in the case of the CIA official Sterling who purportedly leaked this information to Jim Risen at the New York Times.

01:12:05.000 He's used it to essentially shut down Anything that counters the official government narrative.

01:12:12.000 And I was an investigative reporter for the New York Times.

01:12:16.000 I know many of the major investigative reporters.

01:12:18.000 And they will tell you that at this point investigating anything the government does has become impossible.

01:12:25.000 Even on background briefings will no longer be given because people are scared of being charged with the Espionage Act.

01:12:32.000 officials have been charged, which, of course, brings with it prison time.

01:12:36.000 And that just brings us to the National Defense Authorization Act, which, as you mentioned, Alex, was signed by the president on December 31st, New Year's Eve, of course, a moment when he thought we weren't looking.

01:12:49.000 Now, the National Defense Authorization Act, Section 1021, authorizes the U.S. Constitution government, or more specifically, the executive branch, to condemn or label an American citizen a terrorist.

01:13:06.000 And not only a terrorist, but in the language of that section, someone who has relationships with what they call associated forces, a term that's never defined.

01:13:16.000 To use the military, this is contravening 200 years of domestic law, to detain these people, hold them in military facilities, strip them of due process, and if the military so determines, actually ship them.

01:13:31.000 to offshore penal colonies like Guantanamo and other black sites around the world in the language of this section until the end of hostilities, whenever that is.

01:13:42.000 In an age of permanent war, that's a very long time.

01:13:46.000 We challenge that in federal and the Southern District Court of New York.

01:13:51.000 Federal Judge Catherine Forrest issued a temporary injunction, in essence, invalidating that section of the NDAA.

01:14:04.000 We had a final hearing at the beginning of August.

01:14:08.000 And in which Judge Forrest will now determine whether that temporary injunction will become permanent.

01:14:15.000 But we know how the Obama administration will respond if she invalidates that section of the NDA, which of course I think she should.

01:14:24.000 They've already challenged the temporary injunction.

01:14:27.000 They will clearly challenge the permanent injunction if she rules that it is unconstitutional, as it appears she will.

01:14:37.000 That will take it to an appellate court.

01:14:38.000 If they uphold the ruling, it will go to the Supreme Court.

01:14:41.000 But all of this comes under the Obama administration.

01:14:43.000 And my frustration with self-professed liberals is that, you know, they're entranced with the rhetoric of Obama and utterly ignore the facts, utterly ignore what he has done.

01:14:56.000 Um, and, uh, and as you mentioned earlier, I think what we are seeing is, in essence, uh, a rewriting of the legal code to criminalize any form of legitimate dissent.

01:15:09.000 And that's because, uh, the corporate state, corporate power understands very well what's coming, uh, both in terms of the environmental crisis and the economic crisis, uh, and they want the legal mechanisms, uh, to shut it down.

01:15:22.000 You know, it's interesting that in the, uh, August, in the last hearing, In Judge Forrest's courtroom, she, as the judge, actually brought up the detention of 110,000 Japanese-Americans who, you know, because of their ethnicity, were sent to internment camps, again without any kind of legal recourse, and said that this section of the NDA essentially sets that precedent.

01:15:49.000 We are now reaching the Alexander Sholtson-Eatson type moment, asking will we burn later in the camps, wishing we'd done something.

01:15:57.000 And now, three months ago, the Army document came out for re-education centers.

01:16:01.000 The Army admitted in a press release that our document was real, but that we shouldn't have it.

01:16:06.000 And another public document for gun confiscation during crises.

01:16:10.000 They're buying armored vehicles.

01:16:12.000 They've bought 1.4 billion rounds of ammo.

01:16:15.000 The media spends it to say, hey, they need 174,000 rounds of ammo.

01:16:20.000 No, it's 1.4 billion.

01:16:22.000 So we're seeing all sorts of propaganda.

01:16:24.000 Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist who's covered police states worldwide, Chris Hedges, joins us.

01:16:29.000 We're going to talk about his book here in a moment.

01:16:31.000 We're going to skip this network break so we have more time with him.

01:16:34.000 What is the ruling class thinking?

01:16:35.000 Because we've always had different corrupt elites and things, but there was still an understanding, even for the ultra wealthy and powerful, That you want checks and balances going back to Magna Carta because other elites can come in and rob you and that nobody wants to live in a society that's not free.

01:16:52.000 I mean, free societies are more productive, they're happier, they're better.

01:16:57.000 What has happened to the ruling class that they're going, I mean...

01:17:01.000 The Stalin-Mao-Hitler route. 0.72

01:17:05.000 I mean, this is... I mean, earlier in the shorter segment, I'd like you to recap that.

01:17:08.000 You pointed out you've covered a lot of historical events that happened as they happened.

01:17:12.000 This is one of the nastiest, most scientifically crafted, over-the-top... I mean, so many things that are in 1984 have now been surpassed.

01:17:22.000 And now they're getting ready for the physical roundups.

01:17:25.000 I don't think people understand, who haven't looked at history like you and others have, just how dark it is, is my point.

01:17:31.000 Yeah, I mean, in the language of patriotism, these people are traitors.

01:17:35.000 And that's the difference, as you point out, between the older ruling elite, and I come out of the working class, they were certainly no friends to working men and women, frankly, but they cared about the sustenance of the nation.

01:17:48.000 The new ruling elite is global.

01:17:50.000 It, in the language of business, is quite willing to harvest the nation.

01:17:53.000 That's how you've seen manufacturing jobs shipped overseas, and you look at labor conditions in southern China where Apple products, I mean all sorts of products that we buy are made, and it's out of Dickinsonian England.

01:18:07.000 You know, 70-hour work weeks, abusive conditions, you know, no labor protection, and what they tell now workers around the world.

01:18:17.000 Is that in order to be competitive, they have to be competitive in essence with prison labor in China or sweatshop workers in Bangladesh who make 22 cents an hour. 0.53

01:18:28.000 Exactly, where Foxcom that Apple uses while they're being lectured by Al Gore here domestically, they have to put suicide nets up.

01:18:36.000 Yeah, you know, what happens is when they don't meet their quotas, and there's a good book by a Berkeley sociologist who's of Chinese origin, who went and wrote about it, wrote about these conditions, when they don't meet their quotas and they don't make the profits, there are workers who will work and actually not be paid.

01:18:55.000 And at the end of the month, they will climb up to the roofs of these overcrowded dormitories and jump off and commit suicide.

01:19:05.000 And that's the world that these corporations have created.

01:19:08.000 And that's the difference between the old robber barons, the Rockefellers, the Mellons, the Carnegies, and the new robber barons, who are quite willing to sacrifice the nation, indeed are, for profit.

01:19:20.000 When they do their speculative They're gambling on Wall Street, and their bubbles crash, they loot the U.S.

01:19:27.000 Treasury, and then they make the rest of us pay for it through austerity programs.

01:19:31.000 You see the same thing in Europe, because, of course, it's a global corporate movement.

01:19:36.000 So that when Papandreou in Greece announces, OK, you want austerity, I'm going to put it to a referendum, he's gone within a week.

01:19:44.000 And he's replaced with a banker technocrat that's, you know, that is essentially pliable and a puppet.

01:19:54.000 Of the banks and of the corporate interest.

01:19:55.000 This is a global phenomenon.

01:19:57.000 We're not exempt from it.

01:20:00.000 And these essentially narrow, oligarchic corporate forces, we see it.

01:20:06.000 They make all their money here and then they move overseas so they don't have to pay any taxes.

01:20:10.000 Well, they're moving to armored redoubts on Pacific Islands and admitting they are, and they're bragging that they're converting us to a tyranny, and training the police that we're their enemy. 0.64

01:20:20.000 I mean, this is a nightmare scenario, and the attitude is, Americans are uppity.

01:20:27.000 We're going to bring you down, we're going to cut you down to size, while lecturing people who are on welfare, because they've destroyed the jobs base, while they are the biggest recipients of corporate welfare contracts, bailouts, and then in Europe, I've looked at the numbers, almost all the real debt is owed by the big zombie banks, and they've done this trick of convincing everyone that the Europeans are lazy, and now today they're reporting that they want Greeks to work six-day work weeks,

01:20:56.000 And then most of the money is to be paid to the bankers that Greece is having to hand their islands over to.

01:21:02.000 Yeah.

01:21:03.000 Well, that's precisely it.

01:21:05.000 And, you know, they will... Corporations know only one word, and that's more.

01:21:12.000 And they are going to push and push and push.

01:21:14.000 You know, like all sort of elites that have unplugged themselves from the reality around them, they're woefully out of touch with what most Americans are undergoing.

01:21:24.000 And it is always the ruling elites that finally determine the parameters and configurations of revolt and rebellion.

01:21:34.000 And because they have not responded rationally, as the columnist Paul Krugman writes week after week, To both the economic and political crisis, it means that there will be a backlash.

01:21:45.000 What exactly it will look like, how it will appear, when it will appear, I don't know.

01:21:50.000 I've covered revolutions in Eastern Europe, uprisings in Palestine, the war in Yugoslavia, but I do know, especially having spent the last two years on this book, in the poorest pockets of the United States, without any question, that it's coming.

01:22:06.000 And the establishment knows that and is making preparations for it, I think, to use that crisis as a pretext to grab even more power.

01:22:14.000 If you expand on this out into the future, what type of world do you think the ultra-rich, who are obviously monopoly capitalists, what type of world are they planning on building?

01:22:29.000 In essence, a kind of feudal system, where you have a tiny, filthy rich, oligarchic elite, a small sort of core of corporate managers, public relations people, in essence propagandists, and then the rest of us hanging on by our fingertips.

01:22:46.000 And, you know, interestingly enough, this completely replicates the political and economic structure that Orwell painted in 1984 with Oceana, where you had an inner party of 2% to 4%, an outer party of about 12%, and the rest are what he calls proles.

01:23:03.000 That's already, I mean, all you have to do is look out your window.

01:23:06.000 You had a decaying infrastructure, closing schools, closing fire departments, you know, closing libraries, long-term unemployment and underemployment, coupled with, you know, this kind of constant sustenance of criminal enterprises.

01:23:24.000 I mean, look at Goldman Sachs.

01:23:25.000 Goldman Sachs has bailed out every penny on the dollar by the American taxpayer, and now we give them, in essence, 0% interest loans so that they can gamble.

01:23:36.000 I don't know what it is.

01:23:37.000 It's not capitalism.

01:23:38.000 I don't even know what it is.

01:23:39.000 And then to loan it back to us at 10, 20, 30 or more percent.

01:23:43.000 And they often don't loan.

01:23:44.000 Talk to any small businessman, they can't get loans.

01:23:48.000 And why should the banks loan?

01:23:49.000 They've got all the money they could ever want.

01:23:50.000 Taxpayer backed money.

01:23:51.000 Expanding on this, I went and saw Dinesh D'Souza's film, the 2016 Obama's America, and they were saying that Obama was anti-colonialist when really I see this as a new colonialism, where it's these mega-banks and mega-elites that are destroying the nation states that were the old cores of the empire, not just exploiting the third world.

01:24:17.000 They brought the cancer home, but then they spin it that Obama is an anti-colonialist, and so that's why he's doing what he's doing.

01:24:25.000 I mean, it's an amazing spin.

01:24:27.000 And you know, we actually call the places that, you know, places like Camden, internal colonies, because it is a form of colonialism.

01:24:27.000 Thank you.

01:24:37.000 And, you know, just to go back to your point earlier about the militarization of police, you know, I think when you look at the war on, so-called war on drugs, you see that the portal, the way they entered it, so that if there's a night raid now in Oakland, You have Kevlar-plated command helicopters, command centers, people dressed in black, carrying M-16s.

01:25:02.000 It looks no different from a night raid in Fallujah.

01:25:06.000 And that's the point, that as the disintegration continues, the more brutal forms of control that are used on the outer reaches of Empire migrate back to the heart of Empire.

01:25:21.000 And the mega-corporations then plan to even implode the old homelands and then just have a giant squalor that they rule over from private, heavily-armed redoubts and cities.

01:25:34.000 And that's now even their admitted plan, the Rand Corporation is saying.

01:25:38.000 What a hellish vision!

01:25:39.000 What a hellish world!

01:25:40.000 It sounds like something the devil would come up with.

01:25:43.000 Yeah, and you have corporations like Bechtel buying up all the clean water. 0.88

01:25:48.000 In Chile and other places because they know that pretty soon water, you know, water for most of us will be contaminated.

01:25:55.000 We'll have to pay for it, just like everything else.

01:25:58.000 Yeah, I mean, they, you know, if you sit down inside the NSA or any other, their sort of analysis of where we're going is not going to be much different from yours or mine.

01:26:08.000 It just doesn't make it out into the mainstream.

01:26:11.000 Well, that's right.

01:26:12.000 They've got British Ministry of Defense reports, Pentagon reports, admitting a hellish world, and then if I cover it, the media calls it pessimism porn.

01:26:22.000 Won't this be the defining moment when your case goes to the Supreme Court if they don't uphold the Constitution?

01:26:29.000 I mean, this will be overthrowing Magna Carta, habeas corpus. 0.63

01:26:32.000 I mean, this is probably one of the biggest cases ever.

01:26:35.000 What is it like to be at the center of this?

01:26:38.000 It's sort of bizarre in a sense because I agree with you.

01:26:43.000 And the judge agrees with us that this is just this amazing attempt to essentially strip us of the rule of law, due process, and yet it doesn't get covered.

01:26:54.000 It doesn't get covered because both the Republicans and the Democrats are essentially beholden to corporate power and the security and surveillance state.

01:27:02.000 I mean, this was a bipartisan effort, sponsored by Carl Levin and John McCain.

01:27:08.000 And so because the media won't step outside these very narrow parameters, which essentially stretch from A to B, that's what stunned me the most, how egregious the assault is, how naked the assault is, and how it's virtually uncovered.

01:27:25.000 I mean, the New York Times did write a good editorial about it after the temporary injunction was issued, But, you know, if you look on the airwaves, it doesn't exist.

01:27:35.000 And yet you have all these people sort of shouting about the Constitution and civil liberties and here, in an incredibly overt attempt to take away our right to trial, is silence.

01:27:54.000 And now, I see a lot of conservatives going along with this, when the government's now said, don't worry about Al-Qaeda, we're going to use them and others to take down Syria and Libyan places. 0.88

01:28:04.000 The new enemy is domestic threats, and they're out, like they've done with Muslims, provocateuring militia groups in Michigan and things, trying to get some type of civil war going so they can now target the American people as the enemy.

01:28:18.000 This is very cold-blooded.

01:28:21.000 I think it is a left-right issue.

01:28:22.000 You know, the American conservative just ran a long article called In Defense of Bradley Manning, raising precisely these points.

01:28:32.000 And that's why I think that, you know, the political theater of the Republicans and the Democrats, you know, is really a kind of mass, money-drenched spectacle that diverts us from debating issues that I don't think, you know, really, you know, for anybody who cares about the rule of law and the democratic state, no matter what your political opinion is, there should be any divide for anybody who cares about the rule of law and the democratic state, Well, that's right.

01:29:02.000 We're all Americans.

01:29:03.000 We're all humans.

01:29:04.000 And if America becomes this pure tyranny, boy, the world better look out.

01:29:08.000 If they think we've been doing bad stuff so far, Chris, look out.

01:29:11.000 You know, I know you've got to go.

01:29:13.000 I'll talk to you briefly during the break if you can stay five more.

01:29:16.000 I want to come back and talk about the book.

01:29:17.000 But if not, folks...

01:29:20.000 Okay, Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt.

01:29:22.000 I have not read it yet.

01:29:23.000 I will read it because, let me tell you, when I see Chris Hedges' videos online, he's focused, he knows what he's talking about, he's articulate.

01:29:31.000 I get mad just yelling and screaming.

01:29:33.000 I wish I was like him.

01:29:34.000 But then I'm just a constitutionalist.

01:29:36.000 I want my Bill of Rights.

01:29:37.000 I want my Constitution.

01:29:38.000 If that's liberal or that's conservative, then that's what I am.

01:29:40.000 But I just love Chris Hedges and he's so, so, so good to come on and talk about this with us.

01:29:45.000 We'll be right back to talk about his book for a few minutes.

01:29:47.000 Stay with us.

01:29:51.000 We're on the march, the empire's on the run.

01:32:58.000 InfoWarshop.com From the front lines of the information war, it's Alex Jones.

01:33:08.000 Okay, we've got about six, seven minutes left with Mr. seven minutes left with Mr. Hedges holding over with us.

01:33:31.000 Pulitzer Prize winning author, journalist who's covered some of the most dangerous places in the world.

01:33:36.000 And he's saying that, well, what he sees here in America, I want him to expand on that, is the worst he's ever seen so far.

01:33:41.000 I want him to elaborate on that because it's intriguing if I went over his bio here for folks that may not know who...

01:33:48.000 Who Chris Hedges is.

01:33:50.000 He's been in over 50 countries.

01:33:51.000 He's covered the big battle zones.

01:33:53.000 He's covered world leaders.

01:33:54.000 He's covered the Stasi and their activities.

01:33:57.000 Just amazing.

01:33:58.000 And he's got a new book out.

01:34:00.000 that we're going to be obviously breaking down as soon as I get a chance to read it.

01:34:04.000 Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt.

01:34:06.000 But I wanted him to go over basically what the book covers because earlier he started mentioning that it's a reservation program and I've interviewed a lot of Native Americans who've gone over the history and they point out that Indian policy became what Hitler used.

01:34:21.000 And I'd actually read that in Hitler's own writings that he used that model of the concentration camp off the reservation.

01:34:28.000 The company store that keeps control of the people, keeps them in poverty, their life expectancy, and that that's the whole model now of this corporate state.

01:34:38.000 Get rid of your jobs and then give you a pittance to barely even keep you at subsistence.

01:34:43.000 Destroying destinies, destroying societies.

01:34:46.000 So you can control them.

01:34:48.000 And now the corporate state doesn't want even free market competition.

01:34:51.000 It's coming in with regulations shutting down what's left of our industry.

01:34:55.000 I mean, it's a cold-blooded, systematic, military-style takeover.

01:34:59.000 So, Chris, break down your new book, which I can't wait to read, Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt.

01:35:05.000 Well, yeah.

01:35:06.000 I mean, Alex, I think you nailed it.

01:35:07.000 I mean, that's why we begin with Pine Ridge, because that's where it all began.

01:35:12.000 And originally, you know, those reservations were openly called prisoner of war camps.

01:35:19.000 And you're right.

01:35:20.000 They make self-sufficiency impossible and create this kind of culture of dependence.

01:35:27.000 Uh, which destroys dignity, self-worth, uh, community, uh, with all of the attendant problems.

01:35:34.000 That's why you have an 80% estimated, 80% alcoholism rate on Pine Ridge.

01:35:40.000 Uh, and everywhere we went, whether it was Camden, whether it was, uh, Southern West Virginia, where people are taking OxyContin, what they call Hillbilly Heroin, uh, you know, they The sort of drugs and the alcohol anesthetize people to the kind of pain and the suffering to which they have been reduced.

01:36:01.000 And I think the reservation model is, in fact, one that we spend a lot of time reporting on and looking at for precisely that reason.

01:36:11.000 You know, when you reduce people to a level of desperation, it becomes far easier to control them.

01:36:19.000 And that's what we're seeing.

01:36:20.000 I mean, you know, just all sorts of, just in the last few weeks, the refusal to restore unemployment benefits for hundreds of thousands of Americans, which means tens of thousands of these people will eventually lose their homes, a number now over six million.

01:36:38.000 You know, there's just, Obamacare is another example.

01:36:43.000 It's a corporate, essentially the equivalent of a bank bailout bill for the pharmaceutical And I've got to interrupt.

01:36:48.000 industry is $477 billion in subsidies.

01:36:53.000 And of course, they can keep, as anyone such as myself knows who doesn't have a company plan, keep jacking up co-payments and premiums.

01:37:00.000 And I've got to interrupt.

01:37:01.000 See, you're the only scholar out there on the so-called left, but you're just a human who wants freedom, who's honest that the insurance companies wrote it.

01:37:08.000 And then the right wing gives Obama cover and goes, how dare you want to make us commies when the whole thing was written to let corporations control the quality of care, make you buy their product and jack up the price.

01:37:20.000 I mean, it's such a fraud.

01:37:23.000 But then you've got all the people on the left who mean well supporting it through ignorance.

01:37:27.000 Yeah, it is.

01:37:30.000 It is, uh, I mean, you know, this is, I think, a very telling piece of legislation because it was written in the Heritage Foundation.

01:37:37.000 It was first put into practice by Mitt Romney when he was governor in 2006 in Massachusetts, and then adopted by Barack Obama.

01:37:46.000 Here is Obamacare.

01:37:48.000 And that is a kind of window into the kind of false debates that go back and forth because both of these two political parties, you know, are slavishly devoted to corporate interests.

01:38:01.000 Obamacare is essentially forcing us to buy defective Corporate product, a for-profit product.

01:38:10.000 It's staggering.

01:38:11.000 And what is the revolt angle of the book?

01:38:13.000 Because, again, I haven't had a chance to read it yet.

01:38:15.000 I'm going to order it today.

01:38:17.000 I think it's just this understanding that the formal mechanisms of power are not going to Defend civil liberties or our interests or institute the kinds of reforms that will bring back the kind of egalitarian society that I think we all want.

01:38:34.000 That now resistance has to come outside those formal mechanisms of power.

01:38:39.000 That means acts of civil disobedience.

01:38:41.000 I was arrested with Occupy protesters in front of Goldman Sachs.

01:38:47.000 I don't think we have any option left.

01:38:53.000 And I'm not naive enough to even promise you that it will work.

01:38:58.000 But I can tell you that the system is so corrupt.

01:39:01.000 You know, you take New York City Police and you look closely, most of the egregious assaults against protesters were carried out by the white-shirted officers who were earning about $110,000 a year.

01:39:13.000 There was a lot of fraternization with the blue uniform police because these corporations hire them, like Goldman Sachs and Citibank, as rent-a-cops for private security for $37 an hour in their off time so they can, you know, make some money.

01:39:28.000 Well, Goldman Sachs gave him, what was it, some giant amount of money the week before as a pure gift right to the police, a public bribe.

01:39:36.000 Yeah, J.P.

01:39:37.000 Morgan, I think it was.

01:39:38.000 Yeah, J.P.

01:39:38.000 Morgan.

01:39:39.000 Right, exactly.

01:39:40.000 I mean, and I think, you know, when I cover the fall of East Germany, what happens is when the foot soldiers are no longer willing to defend the elite, you know, when Erich Honecker, the dictator in East Germany, sent down an elite paratroop division to Leipzig, where I was, and they wouldn't fire on the crowd, Honecker lasted another week in power.

01:39:58.000 And I think that, you know, in fact, Well, part of the reason, I'm guessing, that the NDAA was pushed through, I think, is because there's a kind of fear among these corporate oligarchs that the police won't protect them.

01:40:13.000 Well, that's one of my final questions here.

01:40:14.000 I've got a few to race through.

01:40:16.000 I want to know what else is in the book so people will definitely get it because your ideas are right on from my own research but so well laid out.

01:40:24.000 That was my next issue.

01:40:25.000 I'll guarantee you that if things continue to implode, the people they know that aren't going to shut up and go along are people like Chris Hedges, people like Alex Jones, people that they know are controlled by conscience.

01:40:38.000 Not because I'm some goody-two-shoes, but because I don't want to live in a fascist state.

01:40:42.000 I mean, I want my children to have a future, and they're really trying to set the precedent For this as they force people into a revolt kind of arresting and which they admit scooping up people that they see as leaders.

01:40:57.000 Yeah, I mean, I think that once you create that legal mechanism that essentially permits or gives to the state that kind of power, then you're in really serious trouble.

01:41:07.000 They use it on marginal elements within the society first, Muslims, black bloc anarchists, whatever, militia members, but you don't want to give them that kind of legal power, which unfortunately we've already done, because they use the sort of fringe elements What about geopolitically?

01:41:27.000 that kind of power, and then they turn it on the rest of us.

01:41:30.000 That's exactly right.

01:41:31.000 And history has just borne that out, you know, in conflict after conflict that I've covered and watched.

01:41:38.000 What about geopolitically?

01:41:40.000 It seems like the world is kind of waking up to the fact that the United States has been seized by very evil forces.

01:41:47.000 Yeah, I mean, you know, I was quite an opponent of the invasion of Iraq on that issue.

01:41:52.000 And I had been the Middle East bureau chief of the New York Times because, you know, it was not only, you know, a tactical blunder, but probably one of the most strategic blunders we made, in essence, throwing the balance of power to Iran, 0.97

01:42:09.000 Yeah, I think that, unfortunately, you know, we don't have a lot of friends left because of, I think, very misguided imperial projects that, again, of course, I mean, the war in Afghanistan, which, let's be frank, we're losing, you know, there are a handful of corporations, Halliburton and Raytheon and on and on and on, for whom they make money in all wars.

01:42:36.000 Could the Anglo-American establishment kind of stall and not have a Merlin Wall moment, but just kind of collapse like the Soviet Union? 0.61

01:42:46.000 I mean, that's the big question.

01:42:48.000 I mean, collapse is coming.

01:42:50.000 How does it come?

01:42:52.000 Does it come gradually?

01:42:54.000 Is there kind of a slow decline like the Ottoman Empire?

01:42:57.000 Does it implode?

01:42:59.000 These are questions that I ask all the time, but I don't have a definitive answer.

01:43:04.000 Well, I think they're going to try to go Hitler crazy and launch a bunch of wars that are so bad, everybody kind of lines up because we're in so much trouble.

01:43:12.000 Well, yeah, the government's corrupt, but we're fighting Russia and China now, so let's line up.

01:43:17.000 We just lost 500,000 people. 0.82

01:43:19.000 I think the elite are that crazy, and the way they're digging in, the way they're getting everything ready, looks like they're gearing up for World War III at a scale much bigger than the Cold War.

01:43:30.000 The COG, the armored pillboxes, the weapons caching, studying history, Chris, in closing.

01:43:37.000 I'm not just trying to be a fearmonger here, I'm scared.

01:43:39.000 I mean, I've studied history, I'm a history buff, and they're digging in for what looks like not just a war with the people, but a war with everybody else.

01:43:47.000 Well, you know, that's as Randolph Warren said.

01:43:50.000 In World War I, he said war is the health of the state, by which he meant that when the state declares war, you know, you're right. 0.97

01:43:58.000 Everybody lines up behind it, you know, in the name of patriotism and everything else, and it isn't a very effective measure, as it was in World War I, to essentially crush any form of dissent.

01:44:08.000 So, yeah, you're right.

01:44:10.000 I mean, history has shown that to be a very effective tactic for despotic states to channel energy And rage and mute internal dissent by creating an internal enemy and going after it.

01:44:23.000 I don't put it past him.

01:44:25.000 Well, hopefully your book will wake people up and I know it's got amazing illustrations in it.

01:44:29.000 Tell us a little bit about the book that you haven't covered and about the cartoonists that you worked with.

01:44:34.000 This is Joe Sacco who is an amazing reporter in his own right.

01:44:39.000 Does whole graphic novels that he reports out.

01:44:43.000 We met in Bosnia in 1995.

01:44:46.000 And I think one of the reasons I found him so important in the book, 50 pages of illustrations, as well as comic panels sort of profiling people's lives, is that so many of these Americans by the corporate media have been rendered invisible.

01:45:01.000 And I think one of the goals of the book was to make them visible, and Sacco did that, gave the book a kind of punch that pure prose wouldn't have had.

01:45:11.000 Do you have hope for the future?

01:45:13.000 I mean, would you say it's a 60% chance we're going to go into this total tyranny?

01:45:16.000 Or is it a 70% or a 20%?

01:45:18.000 I mean, what's your... There's few people who've traveled more, seen more, reported on more.

01:45:23.000 So I really respect your view on this.

01:45:26.000 I know our listeners do.

01:45:27.000 I mean, looking into that crystal ball, what's our odds?

01:45:30.000 I think it looks pretty bleak, but I don't think we can use the word hope unless we actively resist every way possible, which is why I was in protest outside Goldman Sachs, why I sued Barack Obama and Leon Panetta over the NDAA.

01:45:48.000 I think it's a kind of moral imperative to resist, but at the same time, a very sort of sober view, it doesn't look great.

01:45:58.000 Have you been threatened?

01:46:00.000 Yeah, but over my opposition to the Iraq War and then interestingly by Black Anarchists, who I've been very critical of. 0.73

01:46:08.000 Well, most of them are run by Feds.

01:46:11.000 Well, Chris Hedges, that's what I found from my research.

01:46:16.000 Again, your website is also a great place for people to visit.

01:46:22.000 Tell us about your website.

01:46:23.000 Truthdig, yeah.

01:46:24.000 This is Bob Scheer's website out of L.A.

01:46:26.000 I write a column every Monday for that.

01:46:28.000 All right, well thank you so much, Chris.

01:46:29.000 Thank you, Alex.

01:46:30.000 All right, there he goes.

01:46:31.000 I ended up spending more time with us.

01:46:33.000 Man, I wish he was wrong.

01:46:34.000 I wish I was wrong.

01:46:35.000 You know, last hour I kind of went into this ranting rage about the tyranny we face.

01:46:42.000 But, I mean, I bet my family that we can beat this.

01:46:45.000 I mean, let me tell you.

01:46:48.000 If I didn't think we could turn this around, I would leave the United States.

01:46:53.000 Not that somewhere else would be perfect, but I would get out of the fight.

01:46:58.000 Because, let me tell you something, the people running things have made a friend with evil.

01:47:03.000 They have decided that they're going to rule the world, they've got the power, they've got this historic moment, they're going to use it.

01:47:11.000 And we've got to decide, we've got our historic moment as human beings that stand for freedom and justice to resist these people.

01:47:18.000 Because, you know, Chris Hedges talks about how they want to render us impotent and where we can't have jobs in the future.

01:47:24.000 That is the policy of the globalists.

01:47:27.000 And, you know, Obama is not anti-colonialist.

01:47:30.000 Colonialism became what you call globalist.

01:47:34.000 And then the right-wing packages anti-colonialist as communist when the communists are actually running their own form of collectivist colonialism that then implodes and is taken over by the bankers.

01:47:44.000 I mean, we're facing such a sophisticated situation.

01:47:47.000 People say, well, are you for Occupy or against it?

01:47:49.000 The globalists talked about Occupy because their computers We're able to predict that there would be flare-ups at that moment against the banks, and that people knew that the banker bailouts were a corporate transference of wealth from the people to the elite.

01:48:05.000 Just a robbery.

01:48:07.000 A private taxation mechanism.

01:48:10.000 So they announced, everybody who's mad at corruption on Wall Street, show up.

01:48:14.000 Then the Democratic operatives show up, and a lot of other activists as well.

01:48:18.000 Soros is unable to take control of it. 0.95

01:48:20.000 That was going to be kind of the revolutionary arm of the Obama second election.

01:48:24.000 But with the corporatists running it, the Occupy folks got wise to that, didn't work, so then they flushed them.

01:48:30.000 And Obama in what, 37?

01:48:33.000 Locations nationwide and in multiple, a whole bunch of states, 14 states, had people arrested in midnight raids directed by the feds.

01:48:43.000 Folks, when your police are being directed by feds to scoop up protesters, you're not in Kansas anymore.

01:48:50.000 You're in a dangerous police state.

01:48:51.000 And what people don't get is, well, I don't care if I'm in a police state, I want cops and guys with machine guns on every corner, because it's for Al Qaeda. 1.00

01:48:58.000 But see, it's not for Al Qaeda now, it's for you. 0.94

01:49:02.000 And it's because they're planning to take your bank account.

01:49:05.000 They're planning to devalue your dollar.

01:49:07.000 They're planning to take your pension fund.

01:49:09.000 And I don't mean the government pension fund.

01:49:11.000 I'm talking about your private ones.

01:49:13.000 They're already doing that in Europe.

01:49:14.000 Putting taxes on them and stuff.

01:49:17.000 I mean, I've got financial news on Europe that I'm going to get to after... Well, I guess Dr. Stallman's joining us.

01:49:24.000 I'm almost out of time.

01:49:26.000 Where is my financial stack?

01:49:27.000 I mean, I just hit a few of these right now.

01:49:29.000 This is so serious.

01:49:31.000 Folks, and for the millions that are serving this, we're not coming back from this, okay?

01:49:37.000 You notice, the deeper we get into globalism, NAFTA, GATT, any of it, things get worse.

01:49:42.000 Because it's meant to be bad.

01:49:45.000 They write white papers on it, it's horrible!

01:49:49.000 It's not my opinion we're signing on to evil, it's happened!

01:49:54.000 The same robber baron families funded Hitler! 0.79

01:49:59.000 Okay, we're in trouble!

01:50:02.000 These elites put Mao into power because they wanted to have a strong guy take over.

01:50:08.000 Our government put Mao Zedong into power.

01:50:10.000 That's been declassified for about 10 years.

01:50:14.000 I just got chills saying that.

01:50:15.000 Do you realize, under globalist funding, he killed the Chinese, say 85 million people?

01:50:22.000 The CIA says 64 million.

01:50:26.000 Man, they aren't playing games.

01:50:29.000 They want to reorganize and kind of erase the disc, clear the table in America and Europe.

01:50:37.000 And they are lining up the troops and the military to do it.

01:50:40.000 And they're going to do most of it with starvation.

01:50:44.000 And, man, I just don't want to go down this road.

01:50:47.000 I mean, they've got America in the guillotine.

01:50:50.000 And I'm saying, let's get our head out of here, man.

01:50:52.000 Let's get our neck out of this thing. 0.99

01:50:54.000 Let's wake up and say no! 0.70

01:50:56.000 No, no, no!

01:53:08.000 Here's the really bad news.

01:53:10.000 Experts are predicting that solar storms will get really severe over the next year, and our electric grid is extremely vulnerable.

01:53:16.000 In fact, the Wall Street Journal reported that we could soon face blackouts lasting weeks or months, leaving major parts of the USA temporarily uninhabitable.

01:54:00.000 Well, you just heard a Pulitzer Prize-winning top journalist tell you we're going into absolute hell. - And I have all the documents.

01:54:26.000 I should have brought this up to him.

01:54:27.000 It'll be about eugenics. 0.96

01:54:28.000 About how they would give the blankets with smallpox and poison food and water to the natives to make them weak. 0.98

01:54:34.000 They'd kill the strongest members. 0.96

01:54:36.000 They'd kill people that tried to lead. 0.99

01:54:41.000 And again, that was done to a minority.

01:54:44.000 That's how cultures always do it. 1.00

01:54:46.000 But then it ends up getting exported on to everybody.

01:54:49.000 And now the troops have their death benefits that they take part of their checkout of, if they sign on to it, and just steal it.

01:54:54.000 And it was in Bloomberg and AP a couple times two years ago and never again.

01:54:58.000 It's like, yeah, we take the death benefits of vets from World War II right through to the current conflict.

01:55:04.000 Yeah, we run a scam on them.

01:55:05.000 And yeah, the big banks launder the drug money and run the aircraft. 0.93

01:55:07.000 And yeah, the troops grow the opium.

01:55:09.000 And yeah, the troops are dying and have all these increased cancers and their kids are deformed from DEU.

01:55:13.000 But so what? 0.97

01:55:14.000 Hey, did we tell you we're going to forcibly shoot your kids up in school? 0.98

01:55:18.000 And make them, you know, have abortions and say that they gave consent at 12 to have an abortion. 0.98

01:55:23.000 Because we threw them in a truck and took them and had them sign a form.

01:55:27.000 I mean, the government is just power grabbing and it's moving faster and faster.

01:55:33.000 And I'm sitting there watching it happen.

01:55:36.000 And then I look at my kids.

01:55:38.000 And I look back at America and then I look at my kids.

01:55:44.000 And I'm like, do I get out of here?

01:55:47.000 I've said I'm going to stay to the end.

01:55:48.000 These people don't understand what they're up against.

01:55:52.000 Because if we knew what we were up against, we would say no.

01:55:58.000 If you knew how bad it was, the danger is letting this win.

01:56:03.000 People think, oh, it's dangerous to fight this.

01:56:04.000 No, no, no, no.

01:56:06.000 Yeah, for people like me, sure.

01:56:08.000 But for you, the danger is in going along with it.

01:56:12.000 I mean, if I was a cop and there was somebody filming me down the street at, you know, at something I was doing, I wouldn't run over and arrest them.

01:56:19.000 You know that's the First Amendment.

01:56:21.000 You know they're not a terrorist.

01:56:23.000 Shame on you. 1.00

01:56:24.000 You take their right away, you're gonna get yours taken away, you idiots! 1.00

01:56:29.000 You idiots! 1.00

01:56:30.000 Do you have any idea what you're doing? 1.00

01:56:33.000 How much danger going along with these orders is putting everybody in.

01:56:37.000 And it's so planned.

01:56:44.000 That's what's, it's all of the RAND Corporation public documents.

01:56:47.000 I remember reading RAND Corporation stuff in 98-99 where there will soon be a giant terror attack and we will radically re-engineer America.

01:56:57.000 Prepare for the attack.

01:56:59.000 This will happen after the attack.

01:57:01.000 And it was clear they were saying that it was going to be staged.

01:57:03.000 And that was a good thing.

01:57:04.000 And I'm just like, what?

01:57:05.000 Hey everybody, they're going to stage terror.

01:57:07.000 They've done it before.

01:57:07.000 Look, look.

01:57:09.000 Now look what happens.

01:57:10.000 See, they did it.

01:57:12.000 Moody's lowers Outlook.

01:57:13.000 And you're like, our government did it?

01:57:15.000 Yeah, the criminal elements that run our government and run Al Qaeda did it. 0.96

01:57:18.000 Yeah, you bet they did.

01:57:20.000 And your naivete doesn't protect you.

01:57:23.000 It endangers you.

01:57:25.000 It allows this to happen.

01:57:27.000 Moody's lowers Outlook for European Union's credit rating to negative.

01:57:33.000 But I thought they gave the foreign bankers all their money.

01:57:35.000 That would fix it.

01:57:36.000 Oh, as I told you, it's only going to get worse.

01:57:38.000 Because it's designed to.

01:57:40.000 And then they always pose as the savior.

01:57:43.000 Breakdown!

01:57:44.000 Three tons of food looted from grocery stores in Spain as millions struggle.

01:57:48.000 Yeah, they're still getting their welfare checks, but their currency doesn't buy it anymore.

01:57:52.000 Food stamp use climbs to record, reviving campaign issue.

01:57:57.000 46.7 million, that's only one type.

01:57:58.000 It's more like 70 million are on partial food stamps.

01:58:01.000 Let's continue.

01:58:03.000 Chart of the day, 803 years of global inflation.

01:58:07.000 803 years of global inflation.

01:58:08.000 And it shows how there's been as much inflation in the last 100 years As there had been in the 800, 900 years previous.

01:58:19.000 There's no inflation.

01:58:21.000 Continuing here with the news, ladies and gentlemen.

01:58:25.000 EU says Greeks should work six days a week.

01:58:28.000 CNBC, yeah, because they're lazy.

01:58:30.000 Most of that debt's the bankers, but they sign you onto their debt and then tell you how they're lazy.

01:59:57.000 Alex Jones on the GCM Radio Network.

01:59:59.000 Big Brother.

02:00:07.000 Mainstream media.

02:00:08.000 Government cover-ups.

02:00:11.000 You want answers?

02:00:12.000 Well, so does he.

02:00:14.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.

02:00:18.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.

02:00:26.000 Ladies and gentlemen, another hour coming up.

02:00:29.000 Dr. Stallman's going to join us about all the spying and NSA behavior and how your It's not just 12 million, it's all of them.

02:00:38.000 The FBI is on record with backdoors and everything, but the FBI caught with 12 million of your Apple passcodes.

02:00:44.000 Google driving around.

02:00:45.000 Guys, reprint me a few mainstream headlines to show folks of Google caught hacking passcodes with their little spy cars.

02:00:52.000 It's a privatized NSA front.

02:00:55.000 So the NSA guys can give themselves billions of your tax dollars and call it Google.

02:01:00.000 It's so funny how they run everything.

02:01:02.000 I'm being a little flippant there because I'm just sick of it.

02:01:06.000 See, I can laugh or I can start yelling and screaming.

02:01:12.000 The thing is, I'm weird watching total evil unfold that I yell and scream. 0.99

02:01:17.000 I'm supposed to just sit here calmly as we go to hell in a handbasket. 0.97

02:01:26.000 I don't know.

02:01:26.000 If it keeps going down this road, I'm going to have to...

02:01:29.000 At least get my family out of here.

02:01:31.000 I've promised to stay myself.

02:01:32.000 I mean, I'm getting to the point of, like, having to have the realization to sell everything I got and get out of this country before they won't let me leave.

02:01:40.000 And they're gearing up with that, where you can't leave the country, the government says, and all this crud. 1.00

02:01:47.000 But I don't want to be one of the idiots that stays behind and then gets arrested by these trash, these criminal bank robbers that have hijacked our country. 1.00

02:02:00.000 Some of the headlines at Infowars.com. 1.00

02:02:04.000 If passengers don't like how you look, they take you off as a terrorist now.

02:02:08.000 American Airlines disallows boarding of 16-year-old with Down syndrome.

02:02:14.000 Don Salazar wrote that for Infowars.com.

02:02:18.000 Yet another DHS worker files a discrimination lawsuit against Big Sis and the women being accused are resigning.

02:02:24.000 All the little special friends, the little The little lap dogs of Janet.

02:02:31.000 Can you just see Janet in a latex Catwoman suit? 0.95

02:02:38.000 I mean, that's what's going on here.

02:02:41.000 Yet another DHS worker files a discrimination lawsuit against Big Sis.

02:02:45.000 And then think of these people.

02:02:46.000 They come up with, yeah, and then take the little kids in the back rooms and have people take their clothes off. 0.99

02:02:50.000 And yeah, then stick stuff in their coffee. 0.52

02:02:52.000 They've gone to the checkpoint.

02:02:54.000 Yeah, drive them into submission. 1.00

02:02:56.000 And then, you know, Big Sis gets on the phone and tells the men in her office, get in here, scum! 1.00

02:03:01.000 I mean, this is... Who else do you think... I mean, who do you think runs tyranny? 1.00

02:03:04.000 He's a bunch of crazy people. 0.97

02:03:06.000 Oh, man, I tell you, I'm crazed for liberty, though. 1.00

02:03:14.000 They're crazed for evil.

02:03:15.000 That's what you gotta understand. 0.91

02:03:16.000 You gotta be crazed, folks.

02:03:18.000 You gotta decide what side you're on, and then you gotta become electrified. 0.58

02:03:21.000 You gotta become human. 1.00

02:03:24.000 Humans don't act like these little, pathetic, soft, cowardly, domesticated creatures. 1.00

02:03:29.000 I was swimming this morning in the river. 1.00

02:03:33.000 And a lot of people swim in it.

02:03:35.000 And there's these big, giant, two-foot-long bass that are basically domesticated.

02:03:41.000 And, uh, I was swimming in Barton Springs, going into the river.

02:03:44.000 And there's these, and these big, giant, two-foot-long bass right there.

02:03:47.000 Now, out somewhere where they're fish or, or, or bowed, they run from you.

02:03:52.000 But they just sit there.

02:03:53.000 And it's the same thing.

02:03:54.000 We're like dodo birds in this country.

02:03:56.000 Just have no idea what a threat is.

02:04:01.000 It's like in the opening scene of, uh, 2001 Space Odyssey, where the, uh, animals aren't yet, you know, being hunted by man, so they're not afraid of man.

02:04:10.000 We're just kind of standing around.

02:04:13.000 That's what animals really do when they've never had a predator after them.

02:04:16.000 And see, I've still got all my instincts.

02:04:18.000 For whatever reason, when I see predators and stuff being set up, I'm jumping up and down like a monkey, you know, warning everybody.

02:04:23.000 And people are looking at me sitting there eating grapes or, you know, eating foliage.

02:04:27.000 Look at him.

02:04:27.000 He's getting upset about nothing.

02:04:29.000 And the equivalent of a Tyrannosaurus Rex has walked up, saliva dripping.

02:04:35.000 I'm watching and eating my fellow humans, and I'm like jumping up and down going, ooga booga, that ain't good. 0.98

02:04:40.000 And they're like, shut up, conspiracy theorists. 0.80

02:04:42.000 I'm going, look at it. 0.99

02:04:43.000 It's eating people.

02:04:47.000 I know Tyrannosaurus Rex weren't around when humans were.

02:04:49.000 My point is that that's a better analogy than say a Bengal tiger.

02:04:54.000 Hey, that Bengal tiger's eating people. 0.99

02:04:56.000 No such thing as tigers.

02:04:58.000 Oh, really?

02:05:01.000 Hi, this is Alex Jones.

02:05:03.000 Did you know that the global elite are now storing non-hybrid seeds in secret storage vaults near the Arctic Circle?

02:05:08.000 Did you know that in a real meltdown, non-hybrid seeds could become more valuable than silver or gold?

02:05:13.000 It's true.

02:05:14.000 Seeds have outperformed even gold and silver before in this country, and it's possible they could even happen again.

02:05:19.000 So our friends at Solutions from Science have put together the perfect mix of non-hybrid seeds. 0.84

02:05:24.000 They call it a Survival Seed Bank.

02:05:26.000 And it can produce an endless supply of nutrient-dense food for you and your family.

02:05:31.000 And here's the best part.

02:05:32.000 These seeds have not been genetically modified in any way.

02:05:35.000 And you actually get enough seeds to plant a full acre crisis garden.

02:05:39.000 So visit them today at SurvivalSeedBank.com.

02:05:42.000 That's SurvivalSeedBank.com.

02:05:49.000 That's 877-327-0365.

02:05:52.000 Remember, in a real crisis, non-hybrid seeds are the ultimate barter item. 1.00

02:05:58.000 This is Alex Jones for survivalseedbank.com.

02:07:01.000 The worst drought in 50 years continues, and the first six months of 2012 marks the hottest half year on record.

02:07:07.000 78% of the Midwest corn belt is in drought conditions.

02:07:10.000 Not only corn, but soy, alfalfa, fruits, vegetables, and wheat are all impacted, raising prices.

02:07:15.000 The cost to feed livestock is forcing farmers and ranchers out of business, blowing up your food prices.

02:07:20.000 The only strategy to counter this is to freeze your food cost at today's prices by getting your own supply of foods from eFoods Direct now.

02:07:28.000 As the price of raw ingredients increases, eFoods will have to raise prices too.

02:07:32.000 Now is the time to get your supply.

02:07:34.000 I recently increased my supply from eFoodsDirect because we've all known this was coming.

02:07:38.000 You know about their delicious, long-term, storable foods.

02:07:41.000 The fact is, you can eat it anytime to save money today.

02:07:43.000 And because it's stored for 25 years, you're locking in today's prices and avoiding the rising food cost.

02:07:48.000 Don't wait!

02:07:49.000 Call 800-409-5633 or go to eFoodsDirect.com forward slash Alex.

02:07:51.000 Call 800-409-5633 or eFoodsDirect.com forward slash Alex.

02:07:52.000 We now take you live to the Central Texas Command Center in the heart of the resistance.

02:08:15.000 Rallying patriots worldwide. .

02:08:23.000 You're listening to the Alex Jones Show.

02:08:29.000 All right, for the next 40 minutes or so, Dr. Stallman's going to join us.

02:08:32.000 Then I'm going to get some into the fact that these accused Homeland Security perverts are now resigning, which shows there's a lot of evidence pointing to this.

02:08:43.000 And my point is, why would you have all this power and then want to sexually abuse people and, you know, get in their face and things and dominate them?

02:08:51.000 Same reason the TSA wants to see if Osama bin Laden's in your underwear. 0.80

02:08:54.000 It's about domination.

02:08:57.000 And the fish rots from the head down.

02:08:59.000 So we're going to be getting into that because there's new lawsuits, new allegations.

02:09:03.000 The hysteria and the fear is intensifying.

02:09:05.000 American Airlines disallows aborting 16-year-old with Down syndrome because people thought that he looked scary.

02:09:13.000 That's at Infowars.com.

02:09:15.000 Again, yet another DHS worker files discrimination lawsuit against Big Sis.

02:09:19.000 Audit of New York Federal Reserve technocrat.

02:09:22.000 Creation and cover-up of global financial crash, big news there at PrisonPlanet.com.

02:09:28.000 Establishment launches straw man over government bullet purchases, focuses on 174,000 bullets that we mentioned instead of the 1.4 billion.

02:09:37.000 Amazing.

02:09:39.000 We've had AP, Washington Post all attack us.

02:09:44.000 Just that really got them upset that we've realized they're buying armored vehicles and all this stuff against the American people.

02:09:49.000 So we're going to be breaking all of that down as well.

02:09:53.000 Now joining us to really give us his perspective on what's happening is Dr. Richard Stallman is a software developer and software freedom activist.

02:10:01.000 He developed GNU that's the basis of so many of the systems out there today.

02:10:05.000 He graduated from Harvard in 74 with a BA in physics and has received many awards, doctrines, and professorships from his extensive work.

02:10:11.000 In January 84, he resigned from MIT to start the GNU operating system meant to be entirely free software.

02:10:20.000 And he has been the project's leader ever since.

02:10:22.000 And I'm not going to read his whole bio. 0.85

02:10:25.000 Most people know who he is if they have any type of brain problem.

02:10:28.000 But Stallman.org is one of the websites and he fights against the overuse of copyright as a tyranny.

02:10:37.000 I mean, to use my own word, he can correct me if I'm wrong, but the reason I wanted to get him on today is I remember Dr. Stallman When I was just getting on the internet 15, 16 years ago, warning that they're building back doors and things.

02:10:50.000 It also screws up how the software works.

02:10:52.000 That's why you want the open software.

02:10:55.000 And he's like, they're tracking you, they're listening to you.

02:10:59.000 And then now it's just Google's cars, admittedly.

02:11:02.000 Driving around with NSA contracts, hacking your computer, stealing your passcodes, totally illegal, they don't get in trouble.

02:11:09.000 The FBI's been caught over and over again, it's in the telecommunications acts.

02:11:12.000 They've got all the access codes to the iPhones, the droids, and now they're denying it even though they've been caught.

02:11:18.000 You've just got a total 1984 society with the smart meters now interfacing with hardwired tech in the dishwashers, the clothes washers, the clock radios.

02:11:30.000 They're making you pay for the tech as part of your purchase.

02:11:34.000 Again, first guy I heard talk about that was Dr. Stallman.

02:11:37.000 And he got criticized for that.

02:11:39.000 And so, I mean, how far does it go when the CIA director, since the last time Dr. Stallman was on, probably six months ago, has now come out at a public conference at In-Q-Tel, at a CIA funding conference, and says, yeah, we're using everything to listen to you.

02:11:54.000 It's all got back doors.

02:11:55.000 Ha ha ha!

02:11:57.000 So we've gone from denying it just five, six years ago with Bush to now it's just in your face.

02:12:02.000 I wanted to get his take on that and then all this talk of hacking the brain and the rest of it.

02:12:05.000 We asked him what he thought of that.

02:12:07.000 Dr. Stallman, great to have you on with us, sir.

02:12:09.000 Hi, thanks.

02:12:10.000 I should point out, though, that I never talk about making software, quote, open, unquote, because that's the term used by the people... I know, you're the expert.

02:12:19.000 I'm using the wrong semantic.

02:12:21.000 Sure, sure.

02:12:21.000 Okay, well give us the right semantics.

02:12:23.000 I talk about free software.

02:12:25.000 Free, free, free.

02:12:25.000 Freedom respecting software.

02:12:27.000 With software, either the users control the program, or the program controls the users.

02:12:32.000 With free software, the users control the program, and that way we've got a chance of making sure it does what we want it to do, and not the other things we don't want it to do.

02:12:42.000 With proprietary software, it's the program that controls the users, and the users typically can't change it, and they can't figure out what it's doing.

02:12:51.000 And backdoors and other malicious features are known in many widely used proprietary programs.

02:13:00.000 For instance, there's Microsoft Windows.

02:13:02.000 It has known surveillance features that people have detected over the years.

02:13:08.000 They're not easy to see, but people have encountered them.

02:13:11.000 And it has features specifically to restrict what users can do.

02:13:16.000 These are known as digital handcuffs, or DRM.

02:13:20.000 And it has backdoors.

02:13:22.000 Now, there's one backdoor in Windows that was explicitly made for the police, although I usually prefer to call them the thugs.

02:13:31.000 And it's designed to let them make... write a program on a pen drive, and when they stick that pen drive into the machine, it takes control.

02:13:42.000 And they can then do anything to it.

02:13:44.000 But there's another backdoor known in Windows that allows remote installation of software changes.

02:13:52.000 Now that's a universal backdoor.

02:13:55.000 It means that Microsoft, using that backdoor, can do absolutely anything to a machine running Windows.

02:14:03.000 Any malicious feature that is not present in Windows today could be remotely installed.

02:14:10.000 It might be there tomorrow or next week.

02:14:13.000 So basically, Windows has zero security.

02:14:19.000 People know that Windows has weak security, but they're actually looking at only half the situation when they say that.

02:14:25.000 They're thinking about security against unknown third parties.

02:14:29.000 But what about the security against Microsoft, or anyone that has Microsoft's cooperation?

02:14:36.000 Well, in that case, given that Microsoft can remotely install software changes, the extent of Windows security against Microsoft or Microsoft Friends is zero.

02:14:48.000 Literally zero.

02:14:50.000 Now, if we look at the iThings, we see that they have malicious features too.

02:14:58.000 Two different spy features were found, and then they were removed, but there could be more.

02:15:05.000 And the digital handcuffs of the iThings are the nastiest ever, because Apple pioneered the practice of censoring applications, of restricting what users can install into their computers.

02:15:23.000 And there's also a backdoor that allows remote deletion of applications that are installed.

02:15:29.000 And then if we look at Android, well, a large part of Android is in a theoretical sense, somehow, free software, but in practice it's not.

02:15:39.000 An Android market is proprietary software which censors applications and has backdoors.

02:15:49.000 You've got non-free software with malicious features almost anywhere you look.

02:15:54.000 Flash Player is another example.

02:15:56.000 It has a known surveillance feature which helps websites do surveillance on their visitors.

02:16:02.000 And it has digital handcuffs.

02:16:06.000 So this demonstrates, by the way, that it doesn't really make any difference if the program is gratis.

02:16:12.000 Flash Player, after all, is available at zero price.

02:16:16.000 Dr. Stallman, couldn't we just interrupt for a moment?

02:16:19.000 Isn't it moral to demand a law for consumers where you can either get the iPhone with all the spy tech or without?

02:16:29.000 Of course, one without would be probably half the price from some of the numbers I've seen to where it's so immoral to not tell consumers they're being paid, they're paying for mandated Globally, and by regional governments, mandated spy tech and then you're never even being told.

02:16:47.000 That is so immoral.

02:16:48.000 You know, they would charge more if they couldn't spy on you because the information they get is valuable.

02:16:55.000 But in fact, you wouldn't be able to make it work without the spy technology because It's not as if they say, alright, here's the stuff that users are going to really use, and here's the other components that are there just to spy.

02:17:09.000 No, it's the same components that are doing all the things.

02:17:13.000 And so, the only way they could remove the spying is if they somehow decided to be ethical.

02:17:23.000 And then how could you trust it anyway?

02:17:25.000 If the users don't have the source code, if the users can't build and run their own version, you can never tell whether it's spy or not.

02:17:33.000 And it's the same thing with GMO.

02:17:34.000 They've been caught designing Trojan horses into that.

02:17:37.000 Let me ask you this question.

02:17:38.000 There was a big hubbub.

02:17:39.000 Of course, you're one of the leading experts that can answer this question, but I tried to study it.

02:17:43.000 That the Chinese government was building back doors into all the chips that our military is getting. 0.87

02:17:49.000 But then I was researching all these major platforms and governments under the Telecommunications Act and other agreements.

02:17:57.000 They are demanding this be built in so they can get in and insure it's going to end up in their systems too.

02:18:04.000 And so it's causing such a big problem.

02:18:07.000 And then they say give us control of the internet because of vulnerabilities.

02:18:11.000 Vulnerabilities they demanded be built in.

02:18:14.000 It could very well be true.

02:18:16.000 It's the sort of thing that you've got to expect governments to do.

02:18:20.000 And I'm sad to say the U.S.

02:18:22.000 government is no longer one that we could expect to be any better in these issues than the Chinese government.

02:18:30.000 But I mean, why would governments tell, you know, all the chip makers, you've got to put back doors in it?

02:18:36.000 Obviously, that's going to create a problem.

02:18:38.000 I don't know for certain that that has happened.

02:18:40.000 I'd love to see an article showing evidence that that has occurred.

02:18:46.000 All I've seen is speculation that there might be back doors.

02:18:50.000 Oh, no, no, no.

02:18:51.000 Sir, I can get this to you.

02:18:52.000 I mean, it's kind of like the tele... I'd love to see it, but so far I haven't seen it, so I don't know.

02:18:56.000 Well, I mean, here's a quick example.

02:18:58.000 The Telecommunications Act of 96 mandated the GPS triangulation in all the phones be ubiquitous by October 1st, 2001.

02:19:09.000 And they gave them, I think it was $10 billion to do it.

02:19:12.000 And yeah, what they do is they go in and set standards on these systems that then they have the companies later give them the codes to.

02:19:20.000 It's kind of like I was told Yes, it's required for phones to have GPS in them.

02:19:27.000 There was a free software cell phone made in which the... whether to transmit any information from GPS is under the control of the user's free software.

02:19:40.000 And the user really can say, no, I don't want you sending out any GPS coordinates.

02:19:45.000 However, the problem is the triangulation and GPS are different.

02:19:50.000 GPS is where the phone figures out satellites where it is, and then transmits that data to the phone.

02:19:57.000 Via triangulation, giving the thing via the GPS locations of the towers.

02:20:01.000 We'll be back.

02:24:12.000 That led to Linux and so many other things is on with us.

02:24:15.000 Dr. Richard Stallman, stallman.org is gracious enough to spend time with us.

02:24:20.000 A very busy individual traveling the world.

02:24:22.000 Haven't been able to get him on the last six months.

02:24:24.000 He's been all over the planet doing so much.

02:24:27.000 I want to get into GNU.

02:24:29.000 What is it for folks that don't know?

02:24:31.000 Like me, I mean, I know what it is, but not the, I mean, but I even get it confused with other systems that are free or somewhat free.

02:24:38.000 And then we've got the brain computing interface.

02:24:40.000 Points you want to make on that?

02:24:42.000 Point.

02:24:43.000 And also, you wanted to elaborate on a law that they've got to tell you about spy software that you're being forced to purchase that's been added onto the product.

02:24:53.000 It's washing machines, it's in everything now.

02:24:56.000 Let's hit that first and then get into GNU.

02:25:01.000 I don't know to what extent current things like washing machines have that surveillance capability in them.

02:25:10.000 It's a very important issue.

02:25:12.000 I've been trying for a few years to get people concerned about smart meters and their potential, their gratuitous potential for surveillance.

02:25:24.000 I'm pretty sure that most of the potential electric savings could be achieved if the system simply informs your computers about when are the times that electricity is particularly scarce and raises the price for that period of time and that way most people will choose to have their refrigerators not cool for that hour.

02:25:53.000 And they won't have to tell anybody that they're doing so, they'll just use less electricity when it's expensive, and they'll pay less.

02:26:01.000 Sure, well just to be clear then, because I do focus on the consumer side, I know you're more into the deep guts of it all, but I can give you more examples if you'd like, but almost all the new washers, dryers, and the CIHC brags about this, the new clock radios, under mandates, they're wired in with takeover switches to give you announcements, They've got wireless systems that they admit are interfacing with the wireless meter readers.

02:26:27.000 California says, oh yeah, we are going to start dialing in and turning things down or off during power, you know, problems.

02:26:36.000 legitimate goal, which is to reduce the peak electricity demand, there's no need to do the surveillance.

02:26:42.000 They could have somewhat different smart meter systems where they can't spy on you and they can't take control, but they do cause you to pay more for electricity, maybe even 10 times more they could when it's really in too high demand.

02:26:58.000 And most people would then voluntarily set their certain appliances not to run during the time.

02:27:06.000 Sure, my point is that...

02:27:08.000 The spy is gratuitous, that's my point.

02:27:10.000 There's no need for the system to do spying.

02:27:13.000 The reason they're making it do spying is they want spying.

02:27:17.000 And the justifications they're giving are irrelevant.

02:27:21.000 They could achieve the legitimate justification without spying.

02:27:24.000 Dr. Stallman, are you saying bin Laden is not hiding in a two-year-old's diaper? 0.87

02:27:30.000 No, I don't know. 0.96

02:27:31.000 I mean, it's conceivable that somebody might put a bomb in your old stomach.

02:27:37.000 Hey, you know what? 0.99

02:27:37.000 There might be a bomb right now in your lower intestine. 0.99

02:27:40.000 We're going to need to take you in for surgery right now. 0.93

02:27:43.000 I suppose.

02:27:44.000 But that's a somewhat different issue you've got to recognize.

02:27:47.000 No, no, but I'm being sarcastic.

02:27:48.000 It's all a giant power grab.

02:27:49.000 My main concern with the TSA is that they check for things other than Oh yeah, now they're downloading people's laptops and cell phones, as you just said.

02:28:00.000 I disagree, you're an extremist.

02:28:02.000 I think everyone should have proctology exams.

02:28:04.000 I think that in order for the TSA to be constitutional, they should not be allowed to take notice of anything other than a weapon that threatens the safety of the flight.

02:28:15.000 I disagree.

02:28:15.000 You're an extremist.

02:28:16.000 I think everyone should have proctology exams.

02:28:18.000 I'm being sarcastic, doctor.

02:28:22.000 Yeah.

02:28:23.000 Anyway, you said I should tell people about GNU.

02:28:28.000 Yes, sir.

02:28:28.000 Tell us.

02:28:29.000 Well, what's GNU is a well-known question.

02:28:32.000 And the answer is GNU is not UNIX.

02:28:36.000 GNU is a recursive acronym.

02:28:38.000 It stands for GNU is not UNIX.

02:28:40.000 But what does that mean?

02:28:42.000 Well, basically GNU is an operating system.

02:28:46.000 It's an operating system designed to be entirely free software.

02:28:50.000 That is, entirely software that the users control, no software that controls the users.

02:28:56.000 And lots of people use GNU, but they don't know it, because they think that it's Linux.

02:29:00.000 Do you hear people talking about using Linux?

02:29:03.000 Well, it's really the GNU system, together with a program called Linux, which is one component of the system as we use it today.

02:29:11.000 So a fair name for this combination would be GNU plus Linux.

02:29:16.000 The GNU contribution is bigger but we can share credit with Mr. Torvalds also for the component Linux which he wrote in 1991 and 2 and so on.

02:29:26.000 So in fact lots of people use I tell you what, tell us more about GNU.

02:29:31.000 We've got a long segment.

02:29:32.000 That was a short one.

02:29:34.000 Dr. Stallman is our guest and I will control myself on TSA Humor straight ahead.

02:29:39.000 I want to get into more on that and then the human brain interface.

02:29:43.000 What happens when they control the software in your brain and it isn't free?

02:29:51.000 We're on the march.

02:29:52.000 The Empire's on the run.

02:35:07.000 Okay, that said, going back to Dr. Richard Stallman, GNU.org, Stallman.org.

02:35:16.000 Let's move quick.

02:35:17.000 We're having even better discussions during the breaks.

02:35:19.000 Finish up on your point about what your software is and then You're explaining to me the semantical manipulations here, why it's so important.

02:35:28.000 I tend to agree with you.

02:35:29.000 The overuse of the word free, the conflating of the terms versus gratis or open.

02:35:35.000 Explain that to us.

02:35:37.000 Well, I almost finished with saying what GNU is.

02:35:40.000 It's an operating system.

02:35:42.000 Many people call it Linux, which is really the name of one piece.

02:35:46.000 Now, there are many different distributions of GNU plus Linux.

02:35:50.000 Some of them are entirely free.

02:35:53.000 Unfortunately, most of them include some non-free software, so I can't recommend them.

02:35:57.000 But you can find out more in gnu.org slash distros.

02:36:02.000 That's where we talk about which distros are free and which ones are not, and why they're not.

02:36:08.000 In any case, when I first started talking about free software in 1983, I wasn't aware of the confusion in my own ideas due to the two meanings of the word free.

02:36:21.000 After all, free means zero price, but it also means that you have freedom.

02:36:26.000 Well, after a few years, I figured out I had to explicitly separate these two meanings.

02:36:32.000 So, I started saying it's free as in freedom.

02:36:36.000 Sometimes I say it's libre, using a Spanish word that's clear.

02:36:42.000 But then a few years ago, I also realized that whenever I want to talk about zero price, to avoid confusion, I should say gratis.

02:36:52.000 After all, everyone knows gratis means zero price.

02:36:55.000 It's perfectly clear.

02:36:57.000 But this way, whenever I say the word free, it always refers to freedom and only freedom.

02:37:03.000 So this way, at least in my own discourse, I've got a word that refers to freedom unambiguously.

02:37:11.000 Of course, that's not everybody, but you might want to follow this convention too.

02:37:16.000 Now, I'm not going to blame anybody for causing free to have these two meetings.

02:37:21.000 I'm sure that happened Yeah, but explain what free software means.

02:37:27.000 It doesn't mean free in price necessarily.

02:37:29.000 It's not about price at all.

02:37:31.000 It means it respects the user's freedom and community.

02:37:35.000 And there are four specific essential freedoms that the users need in order to have control over the program they use.

02:37:43.000 Freedom Zero is the freedom to run the program as you wish.

02:37:47.000 Freedom 1 is the freedom to study the source code and change it to make it do your computing the way you wish.

02:37:55.000 Freedom 2 is the freedom to redistribute exact copies to others when you wish.

02:38:00.000 And Freedom 3 is the freedom to distribute copies of your modified versions to others when you wish.

02:38:08.000 The first two freedoms give us individual control.

02:38:11.000 One user, individually, and any user individually has control over the program that way.

02:38:18.000 But individual control is not enough.

02:38:20.000 Partly because most users don't know how to program.

02:38:22.000 They don't know how to study and change source code.

02:38:25.000 But even if you know how, you use so many programs you couldn't possibly have time to work on them all yourself, even if you're a great programmer.

02:38:33.000 So we need to do this together.

02:38:35.000 We need collective control over the program.

02:38:38.000 And the four freedoms give us both individual control and collective control.

02:38:43.000 When I say collective control, I mean that any group of users who want to use this one version and maintain it, They can.

02:38:51.000 Those who know how to program will do the maintaining of it and the rest will just use it.

02:38:56.000 But they all get to choose whether to participate in that group.

02:38:59.000 And any group of people that choose to do this are free to do this.

02:39:03.000 People or organizations.

02:39:05.000 Because it includes all of these.

02:39:08.000 So that's what free software means, precisely.

02:39:12.000 It means that the users have freedom as they ought.

02:39:15.000 And you've already basically defined the opposite of that, which is proprietary.

02:39:20.000 Explain then what the confusion is when they use the word open.

02:39:24.000 Well, in 1998, There was a political disagreement within the free software community, which had existed for many years.

02:39:35.000 There were those of us who thought of this in ethical terms, as a fight for freedom, people like me.

02:39:41.000 And then there were the people who appreciated the software and contributed to it, but they only appreciated it for practical benefits.

02:39:50.000 And they didn't want to present this in terms of right and wrong.

02:39:54.000 And in 1998, they coined the term open source as a way to talk about the field and the software without ever saying free.

02:40:04.000 And nowadays, if you look around, you'll see that the term open source is usually associated with a purely practical approach to the issue, one that's not idealistic, one that doesn't raise it as an issue of justice versus injustice.

02:40:19.000 Sure, sure.

02:40:20.000 Well, we talked about this... Sure, we talked about this last time you were on.

02:40:23.000 You know, I'm a multimedia operation to get my information, which is more freedom, out to people from my perspective.

02:40:31.000 And so many times we end up using free or then other softwares that they call open, but a lot of times it is free.

02:40:37.000 Because the other stuff that's offered by industry, it's not just that it's more expensive, it doesn't work because it's so chock full of spy gadgets.

02:40:47.000 I mean, I told you this example last time you wanted to send you some examples.

02:40:51.000 I told the guys too.

02:40:51.000 I don't know if they did.

02:40:52.000 They're so busy.

02:40:53.000 But when you buy...

02:40:55.000 Televisions now, or when you buy systems and we're trying to run our own video we've produced over these monitors, we have to go through all sorts of gesticulations because it's got copyright coding on it to try to stop things from playing over it unless it's already coded.

02:41:15.000 And it's like, what?

02:41:16.000 You don't think I'd ever play something that I produced over this?

02:41:20.000 The point is, It's riddled with these little crud things, and so if it wasn't for free software, we wouldn't be able to get a lot of what we, you know, do done.

02:41:33.000 So I see all this proprietary stuff.

02:41:36.000 It'd be one thing if they were selling proprietary software.

02:41:38.000 It's that they've gotten the rest of industry to put gates in everything to surveil things with prior restraint.

02:41:44.000 Well, actually, I disagree.

02:41:46.000 I think all proprietary software is an injustice, and I won't touch it.

02:41:51.000 I won't take it.

02:41:53.000 Well, sure, I mean, you know more about it than I do.

02:41:55.000 I'm just saying it's horrible, and it doesn't work, and it surveils me preemptively, saying I'm guilty forever.

02:42:02.000 not even guilty until proven innocent.

02:42:04.000 This is a consequence of the fact that it's proprietary.

02:42:07.000 You see, with proprietary software, the program controls the users, and the owner controls the program.

02:42:14.000 So proprietary software is an instrument of unjust power, and of course they are...

02:42:21.000 are tempted to do nasty things to you once they have the power.

02:42:25.000 My point is that you recognize the nasty things that they do to you.

02:42:30.000 My point is that the evil starts with letting them have the power in the first place.

02:42:36.000 It doesn't...

02:42:37.000 I agree.

02:42:38.000 So what do we do?

02:42:39.000 What do we do?

02:42:40.000 Reject non-free software.

02:42:42.000 I'm serious.

02:42:43.000 But I'm saying...

02:42:44.000 I won't buy them!

02:42:48.000 I won't have a cable set up because the cable box is full of proprietary software that they can upgrade and that is designed to restrict you.

02:43:00.000 I don't have cable.

02:43:01.000 Oh, here's a great example.

02:43:02.000 I told you about this last time I made the news.

02:43:04.000 They, Jesse Ventura's TV show, this one episode, aired once, they didn't want it to air again, and they later admitted it.

02:43:09.000 They went in with a computer and erased the show off people's DVRs.

02:43:14.000 They'd paid for the cable, they'd paid for the DVR, it's supposedly their property, but they went in and erased the show.

02:43:22.000 I didn't know about this.

02:43:23.000 I'd love to see an article about this.

02:43:25.000 I'll spread the word.

02:43:26.000 But yeah, those DVRs are full of non-free malicious software.

02:43:30.000 It's designed to restrict people.

02:43:31.000 It has digital handcuffs.

02:43:33.000 And the reason, but the point is, people can easily see that the malicious features are an injustice.

02:43:40.000 My point is, the injustice starts deeper down.

02:43:43.000 It starts when they get the power to control what the software Alright, I want to talk about cyborgs, but what is your overview of this human brain chip interface that you've been researching and give us your take on that.

02:43:56.000 But, Dr. Stallman, the general shape of the web, cyber security, internet censorship, internet IDs, internet taxes, clearly the power structure is moving towards a darkening web.

02:44:08.000 A, do you agree with that?

02:44:10.000 B, what's your overall view?

02:44:12.000 I agree.

02:44:13.000 We're moving towards a kind of Information, computing-enabled tyranny, a surveillance state that's worse than 1984.

02:44:25.000 I often describe portable phones as Stalin's dream, because Stalin would have loved to surveil people as much as portable phones do, but he couldn't.

02:44:41.000 Yeah, it tracks everywhere you're going, Google admits they can...

02:44:46.000 They can, they can track where you're, they know what restaurants you're looking up, what movie you're gonna go see.

02:44:51.000 I mean, it's literally like a guardian devil following you around.

02:44:54.000 Yes.

02:44:55.000 Oh, but of course that, it's likely to be because you're looking it up in a Google server.

02:45:01.000 And they just have to connect which phone it is with what search it's doing.

02:45:07.000 Now, when I do a search on the web, which I do not terribly often, but sometimes, I do it in a way that can't be connected with me.

02:45:17.000 How do you do that?

02:45:18.000 Proxy servers?

02:45:19.000 Well actually I use a shared computer which I log in on occasionally to do various such things but mostly they're used by other people so they can't be connected with me and uh... and you know and I have it delete all cookies at the end of the session so it can't track me long-term that way I mean what I'm doing with those machines is not a particularly secret thing

02:45:47.000 Still, it's just the exercise that... I mean, it's not particularly secret when I go and close the door and go to the bathroom, but I don't want to live in a glass house.

02:45:55.000 Exactly.

02:45:56.000 And so you either exercise these rights or you lose them, and the system wants to just tell us, oh, it's already happened.

02:46:02.000 You don't have any privacy.

02:46:04.000 So you know what?

02:46:05.000 We're going to go ahead and just come in your house now without a warrant.

02:46:08.000 How's that sound?

02:46:09.000 Yeah.

02:46:10.000 Well, Jacob Applebaum...

02:46:14.000 I just had an interview published where he talks about the precautions that people take who really don't want to be spied on.

02:46:23.000 Freedom campaigners like him.

02:46:27.000 Wow, let's get into these brain-chip interfaces.

02:46:32.000 It's a labyrinth of good things, but the problem is all of it being rolled out from day one is proprietary and run by these control freaks.

02:46:42.000 Yeah, well, basically what the recent study showing that they can get information about people by using these commercial brain-computer interfaces demonstrates that if you use one, you're placing a lot of trust in whatever software is running it.

02:47:00.000 And the only way software can deserve that kind of trust is if it's free software. 0.98

02:47:07.000 This is yet another example of how, if you use non-free software, you're a sucker and they're white people. 1.00

02:47:15.000 Yeah, it's like watching mainstream television. 1.00

02:47:17.000 You're being brainwashed. 0.52

02:47:18.000 You're being given subliminals. 0.76

02:47:19.000 You're asking for it.

02:47:21.000 And, I mean, this is hacking the brain.

02:47:23.000 They're now saying they can go in and use programs to grab data.

02:47:27.000 They're now putting passive MRIs in a few airports to passively scan us.

02:47:31.000 I mean, this is crazy.

02:47:34.000 Yeah, well, people have got to realize that Perfect safety against any threat doesn't exist, and that going to desperate lengths and sacrificing an essential freedom for a little bit more Temporary security is a mistaken goal.

02:47:53.000 can go well it creates the great threat of guys pull the Eisenhower quote the president Eisenhower said if you want safety go to prison course you're not really even safe there he went on to add I mean the great threat is those that say give up your rights will protect you yep so is there any way to turn this around I don't know I mean I don't know anything I could do that would turn it If I knew something, I'd be doing it.

02:48:19.000 All I know how to do is try to spread the word and push wherever I get a chance.

02:48:25.000 You talk to, I know, a lot of fellow tech elites out there.

02:48:29.000 I know you don't want to be called that, but you're highly respected.

02:48:31.000 I know you go to these conferences and things and rub shoulders.

02:48:34.000 People like Bill Joy have said, hey, what we're building is dangerous 12 years ago in his Wired Magazine piece, Why the Future Doesn't Need Us.

02:48:42.000 I mean, do the elites think they're not going to get caught?

02:48:45.000 No.

02:48:47.000 I don't know that many people who would call themselves elite.

02:48:52.000 I tend to know activists, not... Okay, my question is, what has the establishment's got to know that the trap they've built, they're going to end up falling into it?

02:49:03.000 This is not a good idea.

02:49:04.000 They probably just compartmentalize their lives.

02:49:08.000 That's my guess.

02:49:09.000 Yeah, that's it.

02:49:10.000 Yeah, I've actually talked to rocket scientists, billionaires, and they're like, they're smart at one level, but they don't get the bigger picture.

02:49:19.000 I'm afraid they don't.

02:49:21.000 In any case, they probably have so many interests at stake in continuing down the path they're on that they prefer not to worry about how it might bite them someday.

02:49:33.000 Yeah, it's kind of like let them eat cake Marie Antoinette.

02:49:37.000 Uh, no, I wouldn't think so.

02:49:39.000 I don't think that they're quite analogous.

02:49:41.000 But basically, they're so concerned with what they know they have to do for success in their careers that they disregard how that might affect their own freedom.

02:49:55.000 Yeah, but I mean I think that is kind of leads to the disconnect of Marie Antoinette where she didn't understand what the policies were doing outside the palace.

02:50:05.000 I do think the ruling class... She was safe from them. 0.99

02:50:08.000 Barring a revolution, she knew that she was never going to go hungry.

02:50:13.000 So she really didn't have to worry.

02:50:15.000 She was really going to be spared.

02:50:18.000 If there had not been a revolution.

02:50:20.000 That's not true for these people.

02:50:22.000 They may get spied on just as badly as you and I do.

02:50:26.000 But they don't think about that.

02:50:30.000 Wow.

02:50:31.000 Well, we've got a final segment with you, Doc.

02:50:33.000 What do you want to cover when we come back in this next little six-minute segment?

02:50:37.000 Ah, gee.

02:50:38.000 Beats me.

02:50:39.000 I can't think of it.

02:50:40.000 Oh, well, there's the issue of... that just recently came up.

02:50:42.000 The false Bruce Willis rumor about how he was going to sue Apple about letting someone inherit his collection of iTunes music.

02:50:53.000 And that's an important issue.

02:50:54.000 Oh, yeah.

02:50:55.000 They're now saying you can't even pass on something that's on one of these platforms.

02:50:59.000 It's incredible.

02:51:00.000 Stay there.

02:51:01.000 We'll be right back.

02:52:36.000 They've been available since 1986, yet the financial industry won't recognize the value of gold for your retirement.

02:53:10.000 After getting her onto two supplements suggested by NutriPath's Steven Heuer, she has improved dramatically.

02:53:17.000 Her stools have normalized, her hair and her body are growing again, and she is beaming.

02:53:23.000 I credit the majority of her improvement to One Real Way.

02:54:00.000 Come, your masters of war.

02:54:06.000 Here they build the big guns.

02:54:11.000 Here they build the death planes.

02:54:16.000 Here they build all the bombs.

02:54:19.000 Dr. Richard.

02:54:22.000 I didn't even get into cost of chemtrail program put at five million a year.

02:54:27.000 They say they want to add stuff to all the jet fuel to put particulate up to save us from global warming.

02:54:32.000 Oh really?

02:54:33.000 That's what they're already doing covertly.

02:54:36.000 But now they got a big article up at Infowars.com out of Reuters admitting the exact chemtrailing we claim they were doing, but saying they're planning it in the future with $5 billion.

02:54:46.000 So amazing report there.

02:54:48.000 Dr. Richard Stallman, stallman.org, gnu.org is our guest.

02:54:52.000 Here we got about five, six minutes left.

02:54:54.000 We were talking during the break about You know, how to use search engines without being tracked.

02:54:59.000 Startpage.com, I think is pretty good, but again, it's not that you're bad, it's that they're spying on you and creating an algorithm on you.

02:55:06.000 I mean, do you go to just a psychologist randomly and tell them everything about you so they can share it with the government?

02:55:11.000 That's what's happening when you're on this.

02:55:13.000 They're using it for nefarious purposes.

02:55:16.000 But getting back to, yeah, this hoax that, oh, see, Bruce Willis doesn't want his stuff willed.

02:55:21.000 And then Apple saying, yeah, you don't own the songs you paid for.

02:55:26.000 I mean, and then everything's up on the cloud.

02:55:29.000 Oh, I've gone through this now, sir.

02:55:31.000 People make claims.

02:55:33.000 That my voice is copyrighted now to erase my videos off YouTube, and I've never signed a deal with anybody to say that.

02:55:38.000 And when I complain to YouTube, they put a strike against our account for daring to complain.

02:55:43.000 And then now the guy that does the Transformers voice, when he does interviews with school kids, they knock the video down saying his voice is copyrighted.

02:55:51.000 When I have Joe Rogan on, they take the videos down saying they're copyrighted, even though Joe never agreed to any of that.

02:55:57.000 So I meant to ask you about all those points.

02:56:00.000 Ah, well, I don't put anything on YouTube, because I can't watch YouTube.

02:56:05.000 You see, the YouTube site...

02:56:07.000 It requires that you run non-free software one way or another.

02:56:11.000 Since I won't run the non-free software, I can't see YouTube.

02:56:14.000 No, no, but what about, I understand with you, but I mean the fact that they can, in the cloud, erase all the books they want, 1984, they could erase your voice.

02:56:23.000 I mean, this is really dangerous.

02:56:26.000 This makes, you know, Fahrenheit, whatever it is, you know, burning the books.

02:56:31.000 Yeah.

02:56:32.000 Uh, well, I don't like to use the term, the cloud, because it's a nebulous term.

02:56:38.000 Right now, you're using it for one particular kind of service, and I know what you mean, but other people use the same term to mean other things, and people don't realize that these are several different things being called by one name, so I never use that term.

02:56:53.000 You're putting your stuff in somebody else's server under their rules.

02:56:57.000 Right.

02:56:57.000 I agree.

02:56:58.000 And well, that's what you're talking about.

02:57:00.000 And I think we shouldn't do that.

02:57:02.000 And I don't do that.

02:57:03.000 You know, I have some recordings of music in digital form.

02:57:08.000 I don't store them in some service.

02:57:11.000 I have them on discs and USBs.

02:57:15.000 And that's the only place I'm going to have them.

02:57:19.000 And the system admits they want to go to cloud to control us.

02:57:21.000 I mean, this is a bad thing.

02:57:23.000 Yes, well, I don't want to use the term cloud, but those services are a bad thing.

02:57:27.000 And this Bruce Willis rumor might have been false in regard to Bruce Willis, but it's true in regard to what's bad about iTunes.

02:57:37.000 You shouldn't use iTunes at all.

02:57:39.000 I mean, you can't use iTunes unless you're using non-free software, which you shouldn't use because you lose control of your computing.

02:57:46.000 So, of course it's bad.

02:57:47.000 But then, this just shows how, once they've got this non-free software, that they use that to exercise more control of you.

02:57:59.000 You shouldn't let them get the first level of control over you, and you shouldn't buy anything in digital form unless it gives you the same freedoms as a printed book or a CD or an LP record.

02:58:16.000 If you look at stallman.org slash ebooks.pdf, you'll see this issue for ebooks.

02:58:22.000 Most commercial ebooks are fundamentally unethical in three ways.

02:58:28.000 There are digital handcuffs.

02:58:30.000 They make you sign a contract so you don't get the same rights you would get if you bought a printed book.

02:58:35.000 And you can't buy them anonymously.

02:58:37.000 Dr. Stallman, thank you so much.

02:58:39.000 Amazing job.

02:58:51.000 The worst drought in 50 years continues, and the first six months of 2012 marks the hottest half year on record.

02:58:58.000 78% of the Midwest corn belt is in drought conditions.

02:59:00.000 Not only corn, but soy, alfalfa, fruits, vegetables, and wheat are all impacted, raising prices.

02:59:06.000 The cost to feed livestock is forcing farmers and ranchers out of business, blowing up your food prices.

02:59:11.000 The only strategy to counter this is to freeze your food cost at today's prices by getting your own supply of foods from eFoods Direct now.

02:59:18.000 As the price of raw ingredients increases, eFoods will have to raise prices too.

02:59:22.000 Now is the time to get your supply.

02:59:24.000 I recently increased my supply from eFoods Direct because we've all known this was coming.

02:59:31.000 The fact is, you can eat it anytime to save money today.

02:59:34.000 And because it's stored for 25 years, you're locking in today's prices and avoiding the rising food cost.

02:59:58.000 Casting Network Fix Bayonets We are now entering overdrive, with your host, Alex Jones broadcasting live from the front lines.

03:00:21.000 If you are receiving this transmission, you are the resistance.

03:00:27.000 That's right, and earlier in the broadcast, it'll be coming up in retransmission, we had New York Times journalist, foreign editor, Middle East editor, Pulitzer Prize winner Chris Hedges on saying, the ultimate tyranny is upon us.

03:00:42.000 We have Dr. Richard Stallman, the creator of pretty much the free software movement, GNU.org.

03:00:48.000 We're doing a little bit of overdrive with him right now.

03:00:50.000 Sir, you were trying to finish up how we deal with The digital handcuffs, you know, how bad iTunes is, how bad it is that Kindle last year, as you know, erased thousands of books that people paid for, including 1984.

03:01:06.000 And then now they've been caught in price fixing and things to try to bankrupt the print media.

03:01:12.000 That's why I've come out with a print once-a-month newspaper with our web stories and some exclusive stuff.

03:01:18.000 By the way, folks, we have a few extra copies of that.

03:01:19.000 They're almost sold out.

03:01:22.000 We'd sold out, but then we had about 3,500 extra that hadn't been put on the streets.

03:01:26.000 We discovered in the warehouse.

03:01:27.000 That warehouse isn't here, so that's available at Infowarshop.com, but they're almost all gone if you want that first September issue.

03:01:33.000 But going back to Mr. Stallman, finishing up your point, Doctor, about You know, how to mitigate this tyranny and how to have a revolution against it.

03:01:43.000 Because what you and others are doing, from my layman perspective, is one of the real revolutions against this technocracy.

03:01:49.000 So we salute you.

03:01:51.000 Doing my best.

03:01:54.000 You were talking about the Amazon swindle, as I prefer to call it.

03:01:58.000 It was in 2009 that they deleted thousands of copies in 1984.

03:02:03.000 And then they promised they would never do that again unless ordered to by the state.

03:02:09.000 But in general, the swindle takes away readers' traditional freedoms.

03:02:14.000 For instance, there's the freedom to buy a book anonymously, which you can still do in a bookstore if you pay cash.

03:02:20.000 That's the only way I buy books.

03:02:21.000 I don't use a credit card.

03:02:24.000 And then there's the freedom to give a book to someone else after you read it, or to lend it to people after you read it, or to sell it to someone else.

03:02:34.000 They take those away with digital handcuffs, and then there's a freedom to keep the book as long as you wish, which they took away with that back door.

03:02:42.000 Well, for any one of these reasons, it's unacceptable.

03:02:46.000 And the competitors to the swindle are not quite as bad, but they're still mostly as bad.

03:02:52.000 So they're no good either.

03:02:55.000 So in order for an e-book to be legitimate and ethical, It has to be possible to buy it anonymously, it must not make you sign any contract so that you get the same rights you would get with a printed book, and it must not come in a secret format designed to make you... You have to be able to share it, so you just get a digital form that you can share, because you bought it, it's your physical property.

03:03:22.000 Yeah.

03:03:23.000 So the point is, if you look at stallman.org slash ebooks.pdf, you'll see my campaign.

03:03:30.000 To make e-books ethically acceptable.

03:03:34.000 But you've raised a broader issue.

03:03:36.000 Basically that of the technological police state.

03:03:41.000 What do we do about that?

03:03:43.000 Well, I don't know what to do about that.

03:03:47.000 Except try in the areas where I see some opportunity and say no.

03:03:53.000 I have a lot of practice in saying no to things other people will do.

03:03:59.000 Twenty years ago I didn't use my credit card very often but whenever it seemed convenient I would do it.

03:04:07.000 Nowadays I just don't except for buying airline tickets because they know my name anyway.

03:04:12.000 The point is I'm saying no.

03:04:15.000 I never started to have a portable phone because the traffic But they want to take the airport model and expand it to face deals.

03:04:25.000 Oh, Facebook.

03:04:26.000 We only have 30 seconds.

03:04:27.000 Face deals, where they want to face scan you to buy and sell, and then they give you little discounts.

03:04:31.000 Well, I won't do it.

03:04:33.000 I don't use the supermarket loyalty cards now, except once in a while I'll get someone else's number.

03:04:39.000 And I don't mind doing that.

03:04:41.000 Well, amazing interview, Dr. Stallman.

03:04:44.000 Thank you so much for the time.

03:04:45.000 Stallman.org.

03:04:46.000 Hopefully we can get you back on in another six months, sir.

03:04:50.000 Alright, thank you Dr. Stallman.

03:04:53.000 I'll say bye to you during the break.

03:04:54.000 What a gentleman.

03:04:55.000 Stallman.org, GNU.org.

03:04:57.000 I'm Alex Jones of PrisonPlanet.tv.

03:05:02.000 A little over a year ago, I began to do a lot of research into why, even though I had a pretty good-sized meal, I was talking about the power grid and just how vulnerable it is.

03:05:11.000 That's in the mainstream news every day.
