01:35:48.000 So that's how I view the Obama administration.

01:36:12.000 And that can only mean, number one, that they're The typical corrupt politician, Chris Christie, that they wanted to throw at conservatives, he was just like Rudolph Giuliani in 2008, wasn't going to fly with conservatives.

01:36:28.000 And so he threw a bone, threw a major kudu to Senator Rubio, and that means he's the backup man the establishment's going to promote, probably, for president.

02:08:32.000 I'm going to be finishing out the show today, and I'm going to have, at the bottom of the hour, the police chief who was fired because he went to a Constitutional Sheriffs and Police and Peace Officers Association meeting.

02:08:45.000 We interviewed him on Prison Planet TV last night on the nightly news, and if you didn't see that interview, we're going to have excerpts from that.

02:08:52.000 We're going to have an update from him live at the bottom of the hour as to what his current status is.

02:08:57.000 But what they did Was they shut down an entire police force, small-town police force, but they shut down the entire force because of a TSA agent who had a vendetta with him.

02:09:09.000 Now, this is something that is much wider than that, but what we're seeing here is the arbitrary exercise of power.

02:09:16.000 This is something that we see happening with the President, with his executive orders, and it permeates the entire government.

02:09:22.000 It's systemic.

02:09:23.000 It goes all the way down to local law enforcement, in many cases, as we've seen, with the police, but certainly the TSA is a large part of it.

02:09:30.000 And it's not just that.

02:09:32.000 It's not just their petty vindictiveness.

02:09:34.000 This is part of a total surveillance grid with the NSA.

02:09:38.000 We've interviewed William Binney before.

02:09:40.000 Not too long ago we interviewed him on this radio program.

02:09:44.000 And he was a former Global Technical Director of the NSA.

02:09:47.000 So, unlike a lot of these billionaire critics of critics who are opposing the NSA, they say there's nothing to worry about.

02:09:54.000 Why is everybody getting so upset?

02:09:55.000 People like Mark Andreessen, who founded Netscape, they're pushing back on this and say, we just don't understand the technical issues.

02:10:01.000 Well, you know who does understand the technical issues?

02:10:03.000 The guy who worked for them for over three decades, who was the Technical Director of the NSA, globally.

02:10:09.000 He resigned, became a whistleblower, because he saw the criminal actions that were taking place.

02:10:14.000 And he knows fully well what their capabilities are.

02:10:17.000 And when I talked to him, one of the things that he told me was that he had monitored for years the Soviet Union as well as East Germany.

02:10:26.000 He knows how this tyranny rolls out.

02:10:28.000 He's seeing exactly the same things happening now, only much more sophisticated, much more technologically sophisticated.

02:10:35.000 He knows exactly how that's playing out.

02:10:37.000 And he had said not too long ago that we are this far from a police state, holding his fingers very close to each other.

02:10:43.000 And then recently, just before the interview, he said, we now have a police state.

02:10:47.000 Well, how does this police state work?

02:10:49.000 Well, guess what?

02:10:50.000 It turns on the police themselves.

02:10:52.000 In many cases, just like this police chief here in a small town in New Mexico, They've been pretty much insulated against the police state effects that many of us feel as citizens.

02:11:03.000 And he had purposely avoided flying, just for that type of reason.

02:11:07.000 He knew what was there.

02:11:07.000 He wasn't totally naive.

02:11:09.000 He was going to a Constitutional Sheriff's and Peace Officers Association, so he knew what was going on.

02:11:14.000 This is a guy of integrity, but his first instinct, as you'll hear in this interview, was to cooperate, as all of our instincts are.

02:11:22.000 But after a while you realize that the government is so far over the edge, they keep pushing, pushing, pushing, that at one point you assert your constitutional rights.

02:11:31.000 This is how he laid it out last night on the nightly news.

02:11:33.000 Myself and retired sheriff Rene Rivera, who was at that time serving as the deputy chief for my agency, we were en route to attend this conference in Las Vegas and Um, due to former investigations that I've been involved in, um, very high profile case, my name was changed legally through the courts and it was sealed under record.

02:11:54.000 And so I have two different names.

02:11:55.000 Uh, I haven't flown in years by choice because of the conduct of TSA.

02:12:00.000 But for this particular event, I really had no choice.

02:12:03.000 And so I told Sheriff Rivera, let's go talk to a TSA supervisor, explain, you know, our circumstances because my biggest concern was regarding my driver's license.

02:12:13.000 The expiration date had just expired.

02:12:15.000 So we go upstairs and we speak to a supervisor.

02:12:18.000 She was very cordial.

02:12:19.000 We explained our circumstances and she said, not a problem.

02:12:23.000 It's within one year of expiration, so you can fly.

02:12:25.000 There's no issue.

02:12:26.000 I said, you know, thank you so much.

02:12:28.000 We go downstairs, we go to the ticket counter, present identification again, we're provided with our tickets and our boarding passes, we book in our luggage, and then here comes a young officer from the Albuquerque Aviation Police, and he's being quite stern in his demeanor and so forth.

02:12:46.000 He says, I need to speak with you guys.

02:12:47.000 Okay.

02:12:48.000 So myself and Sheriff Rivera go off to the side with this individual and another officer and we speak with him.

02:12:52.000 He demands to see identification.

02:12:55.000 We provide him with identification.

02:12:58.000 And, uh, he starts questioning us.

02:13:00.000 I said, you know, what's going on?

02:13:01.000 And he says, well, you were, you were named as a suspicious person.

02:13:04.000 I said, really?

02:13:06.000 I said, you know, what is so suspicious about me?

02:13:08.000 He said, did you go upstairs?

02:13:09.000 And I said, yeah, I did.

02:13:10.000 I spoke with the TSA person up there.

02:13:13.000 But what were you discussing with them?

02:13:15.000 I said, I had a question about my, my flight itinerary and any problems that may arise from an expiration date and so forth.

02:13:21.000 I don't recall the exact verbiage I used, but that was the gist of the conversation.

02:13:25.000 And so ultimately, um, I finally said, you know, I'm not being charged with something.

02:13:29.000 Am I free to go?

02:13:30.000 He gave us our information back and we were sent on our way.

02:13:33.000 And, um, we, we go upstairs through the TSA screening.

02:13:38.000 Uh, Sheriff Rivera was allowed right, right through.

02:13:41.000 When I approached, uh, the lady asked me where I was going.

02:13:44.000 I told her that I was going to Las Vegas.

02:13:47.000 And she then asks, what was my business there?

02:13:51.000 I made the statement that that's private.

02:13:52.000 And I kept walking.

02:13:54.000 So then I get up to the scanner, and I put all my stuff in the scanner.

02:13:59.000 I went through the metal detector, and I was forced to go through it three times.

02:14:03.000 I didn't have any metal on me that I was aware of, but it kept going off.

02:14:08.000 Nonetheless, I get through the thing, get all my stuff back, and I start walking towards the turnstile, and I'm approached by a man in a dark suit who flaps open a wallet and shuts it and puts it back in his pocket.

02:14:20.000 I don't know who he was with.

02:14:21.000 He didn't never showed me a card or nothing like that.

02:14:24.000 I don't have anything from him.

02:14:26.000 He was not wearing a uniform, but he claimed to be a federal investigator.

02:14:30.000 Those were his words.

02:14:32.000 And so he won't demand to see identification.

02:14:34.000 And I'm telling you, we've already been through this.

02:14:36.000 I've already presented my identification at least three times to various officials.

02:14:41.000 What's going on?

02:14:43.000 He told me that I was a person of interest, that I was listed as being suspicious.

02:14:48.000 So I comply, I give him my credentials, and he really just sort of belabored the point, and I finally just asserted my First Amendment rights, my Fourth Amendment rights, and it really upset him.

02:15:00.000 You could see it in his demeanor.

02:15:02.000 Ultimately, I gave him a scenario.

02:15:04.000 I said, you know, sir, the way you're treating me, I said, how would you like it if I were to treat you that way?

02:15:09.000 And I said, just for example, you come through my jurisdiction.

02:15:13.000 I don't have probable cause.

02:15:14.000 I don't have reasonable suspicion.

02:15:16.000 There's nothing suspicious about you, but I just pull you over and say, I stopped you because you're suspicious.

02:15:22.000 And you asked me, well, what's suspicious about me?

02:15:24.000 And I went through this whole scenario and I said, you wouldn't appreciate that very much, would you?

02:15:28.000 He said, I'm paid to be suspicious.

02:15:30.000 I said, really?

02:15:31.000 You're paid to be suspicious of law enforcement officers?

02:15:34.000 I said, I will remember that.

02:15:36.000 The next time I pull over a TSA agent, that they are paid to be suspicious of me, a cop.

02:15:42.000 In other words, I was pointing out the idiosyncrasy of what you're saying.

02:15:45.000 They're paid to treat everyone as if we are guilty.

02:15:49.000 They're trained to treat us all as terrorists, even though, as we just reported, they allowed the Muslim Brotherhood to get a VIP pass when they came here.

02:15:56.000 So, you're al-Qaeda, you're suspicious, just because you're an American.

02:16:02.000 But go ahead, tell us what happened then after you... Did anything happen?

02:16:06.000 At that point, you were allowed to get onto the plane?

02:16:09.000 Well, he starts closing distance on me, becoming increasingly more hostile, making statements that, you don't cop an attitude with me, do you understand?

02:16:15.000 He's speaking to the chief of police.

02:16:20.000 As though I'm a convicted felon on the street who's in the process of committing some crime.

02:16:26.000 And ultimately the aviation police sort of got between us and allowed us to be on our way.

02:16:32.000 And we did.

02:16:33.000 We stopped off at our gate.

02:16:36.000 We got a jug of orange juice.

02:16:37.000 We were just getting some refreshments.

02:16:39.000 And a person in plainclothes walks up and takes our picture and walks off.

02:16:45.000 That is just so odd.

02:16:47.000 So we get on our plane.

02:16:48.000 I had no carry-on.

02:16:50.000 Once we land, we get our baggage.

02:16:52.000 My baggage had been searched.

02:16:54.000 They turned on my laptop computer, attempted to access my laptop computer.

02:16:59.000 Wow.

02:16:59.000 And, you know, I thought that was suspicious.

02:17:02.000 And so we go to this thing.

02:17:03.000 I didn't know what I was getting into when I went to this Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association meeting.

02:17:08.000 I knew very little about it.

02:17:09.000 But once I got there, my eyes were opened.

02:17:12.000 I saw a group of men and women, law enforcement, decorated law enforcement officers from all over the country, painstakingly constructing documents to help preserve our American way of life.

02:17:25.000 Men, grown men, with tears rolling down their face, grieving over what was happening to our country.

02:17:32.000 And I realized I'm onto something here.

02:17:34.000 This is bigger than all of us.

02:17:35.000 This is about our God-given rights.

02:17:38.000 And so I signed on.

02:17:40.000 I got on board wholeheartedly.

02:17:42.000 The moment I got on the ground and turned on my cell phone, my department-issued cell phone, I had a message from the Sandoval County Sheriff's Department.

02:17:51.000 I made contact with Lt.

02:17:52.000 Bonelli, who stated that my law enforcement credentials with the Sheriff's Department were being revoked.

02:17:58.000 So I'm cross-commissioned.

02:17:59.000 I have dual authority.

02:18:01.000 So that dual authority was being revoked by the Sheriff, and there was really no reason as to why.

02:18:07.000 Now, if I didn't already state this, I'm going to restate it if I did, while in the airport in Albuquerque.

02:18:14.000 And having this confrontation with this unethical, unconstitutional TSA agent, he made the statement to me, I know people in your district, and I'm going to make some phone calls.

02:18:23.000 Well, he lived up to his word.

02:18:25.000 He contacted Sheriff Doug Wood of the Sandoval County Sheriff's Department, made his allegations.

02:18:31.000 Now, the key thing to remember is Sandoval County has nothing to do with Barnaleo County, which is where the airport is housed.

02:18:37.000 So he had no jurisdiction over this issue, it was unethical for a lot of reasons, but Sheriff Wood then made a complaint to my agency, and I was called in on my day off, placed on administrative leave, ordered to collect all handguns, badges, commission cards, uniforms, equipment from my officers, and then to report for a town hall meeting tonight at six o'clock.

02:19:01.000 Now we're going to have him at the bottom of the hour with an update at what happened at that town hall meeting.

02:19:06.000 This is really amazing.

02:19:08.000 This is a man of integrity who just one week, less than a week earlier, Prior to this happening, he'd received a meritorious commendation from the mayor.

02:19:18.000 Now, he was fired by a combination of the mayor and the sheriff of the county, where he is a police chief, and he told me when I spoke to him last night that in this small town, there was only about 150 people, 125 of them had signed a petition to keep him.

02:19:33.000 So we're going to find out what happened about that, but I want you to pay attention to what was in the article and what he said, that he was approached by a federal agent who told him that he was a person of interest.

02:19:45.000 And when he was fired, the sheriff of Sandoval County said that he was being His entire police department was being disbanded because of political affiliations.

02:19:55.000 And we're going to talk about what those dangerous political affiliations are right after the break.

02:25:16.000 Well, he was on his way to a Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association meeting.

02:25:32.000 They would not verify that they would refuse an order to confiscate guns if given that order.

02:26:02.000 The TSA getting hold of a sheriff, a buddy, going behind his back, a backroom, backdoor deal, firing a good, honest, Christian, constitutional chief of police, who the only thing he did wrong during the time he left town to the time he got back was to attend a constitutional convention with the CSTOA.

02:26:29.000 And this is the reason we had this meeting, was one, to establish a resolution.

02:26:35.000 To put the federal government on notice that they're not going to do anything like this in our areas.

02:35:35.000 Now, last night you had a meeting to find out what the status, your status, is going to be.

02:35:40.000 Can you give us an update on what it is right now?

02:35:44.000 Well, I'm, as a result of last night's meeting, I was placed on probation.

02:35:49.000 The disciplinary action taken against me was not instructed as to Why this reaction was taken against me.

02:35:56.000 This was an open forum.

02:35:59.000 They said there would be a 14-day probationary period with conditions and they did not state what those conditions were.

02:36:05.000 They being the town council.

02:36:08.000 The people of our village were somewhat set back by that and it was very vocal about it.

02:36:12.000 You know, what conditions are you talking about and probation for what?

02:36:16.000 And so that's kind of where we stand from an employment standpoint.

02:36:19.000 But as far as the issues that are transpiring with TSA, I've had quite a bit of information come across my plate, and I'm looking into it, still trying to make heads or tails of this whole situation.

02:36:30.000 Well, they say very closed-mouthed about everything.

02:36:33.000 We've had situations with a fellow who had been just cleared by the TSA to work on shipping areas, and he was traveling to Japan, stopped in Hawaii.

02:36:43.000 It was a military flight.

02:36:44.000 His wife was in the military.

02:36:45.000 They took him off the plane in Hawaii, said he was on the no-fly list, and he was stranded in Hawaii for quite some time.

02:36:51.000 Could never get any information about why he was put on the no-fly list.

02:36:55.000 Eventually, Through pressure inside the military, we believe.

02:36:58.000 We don't know for sure because they're so closed-mouthed and secretive about everything.

02:37:02.000 He was allowed to fly again, but he still was never able to get any information from the government as to why he was put on the list or if he was still on the list.

02:37:12.000 This is what's really concerning to everyone, is that we now have these secret FISA courts that are meeting in secret, claiming that they are having these, and they're not even courts, they don't have anybody arguing on the other side, there's no jury, there's just a single judge, who basically rubber stamps whatever the government wants to do.

02:37:28.000 These court decisions are secretive, we're never allowed to see them, the public isn't, and yet they maintain that they are modifying our Constitution.

02:37:35.000 It's a very dangerous thing when the government is turning to these kind of star chamber procedures, isn't it?

02:37:42.000 It is, and the Constitution is not subject to interpretation.

02:37:45.000 It's a document that is a living document and no one can change it.

02:37:49.000 Yes, we had a discussion as I mentioned earlier.

02:37:52.000 We went to San Antonio, we pointedly, Alex Jones and Anthony Gucciardi pointedly asked the police chief if he would confiscate guns if told to do so.

02:38:01.000 And he says, well I'm not going to give you an answer, that's a hypothetical.

02:38:04.000 Anthony said, Your oath to the Constitution is not a hypothetical, and they train for these scenarios all the time.

02:38:10.000 That was the very first thing, as a matter of fact, on this list that everybody signed at the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association.

02:38:17.000 The very first thing that was on the list was that, well, the first thing was registration of personal firearms under any circumstances, and then, of course, the number two thing was confiscation of firearms without probable cause and due process, that you would not support that because, of course, registration always precedes confiscation.

02:38:34.000 It's something we're very concerned about and we've been talking about this quite some time and I guess maybe for you, your initial response was to be cooperative, just like our response is typically to be cooperative, but you were surprised at how intrusive this was and how they kept at you and eventually you pushed back on this, right?

02:38:54.000 I mean, for example, I pull over a vehicle for a minor speeding offense.

02:38:54.000 Well, absolutely.

02:38:59.000 There are plenty of times that when I make contact with the driver, they're not pleased that I have them pulled over, but they're still compliant.

02:39:07.000 They do what I ask, but they're not happy about the circumstances.

02:39:11.000 That's okay.

02:39:14.000 There's nothing wrong with expressing yourself.

02:39:17.000 If you have displeasure in a particular situation, you feel you've been wronged, there's due process.

02:39:23.000 I was being harassed in my opinion, and I think the facts support that.

02:39:27.000 Also, I made the point that I didn't appreciate it.

02:39:31.000 I wanted to be allowed to travel freely, and I was not allowed to do that.

02:39:36.000 Time and time again, I was stopped and harassed and annoyed and questioned like this is Nazi Germany.

02:39:42.000 citizen.

02:39:43.000 I'm obviously not of foreign national descent.

02:39:45.000 Regis Morgrigis, in jurist to me, I'm a U.S. citizen, I'm obviously not of foreign national descent, you know, blonde hair, blue eyes, and a country accent.

02:40:00.000 I was born and raised here.

02:40:02.000 My grandfather fought in Korea.

02:40:04.000 My father fought in Vietnam.

02:40:06.000 He was a military police officer.

02:40:09.000 And here I have served on and off since 1998 in some law enforcement capacity or another, currently serving as chief of police.

02:40:16.000 And they knew this, that I was serving as chief of police, and treated me as though my name was Osama bin Laden.

02:40:23.000 I didn't appreciate it, and there was dramatic repercussions for vocalizing the fact that I didn't appreciate being treated that way.

02:40:30.000 Well, if you'd been a member of the Bin Laden family, they would have given you the VIP treatment just like they gave the Muslim Brotherhood, just like they did give the Bin Laden family right after September 11th. 0.88

02:41:17.000 As far as the sheriff was concerned, he did not tell me specifically, directly, that this was because of my political affiliation.

02:41:24.000 But based upon statements that he made that were certainly of a political nature, one could only derive that conclusion.

02:41:31.000 But that having been said, When I get back from my trip to the Constitutional Sheriff's and Peace Officer's Association, I'm immediately told that I'm being placed on this administrative duty, administrative leave, whatever.

02:41:42.000 I'm relieved of my chief's position, basically, in essence.

02:41:46.000 I'm stuck behind a desk.

02:41:48.000 And I was ordered to take all equipment and uniforms, badges, etc.

02:41:51.000 from all of my officers, and they claim it's only an inventory.

02:41:54.000 When you tell an officer, turn in your badge and gun, as a law enforcement officer, it's not just what you do, it's who you are.

02:42:02.000 You know, I want to make something abundantly clear.

02:42:04.000 I am a public servant.

02:42:06.000 Yes, I have the title of Chief of Police, but I'm a public servant.

02:42:09.000 I am a servant.

02:42:10.000 And my officers shared in that mythology, we're here to serve the people.

02:42:14.000 And we treat our people with dignity and respect.

02:42:17.000 But we didn't get that same dignity and respect from our own village government.

02:42:21.000 No explanation to my officers as to what was going on, just turn in your stuff.

02:42:25.000 As a result, regardless of what decisions the village makes from here on out, they refuse to come back.

02:42:30.000 And so we have no police department.

02:42:32.000 And, you know, It's very discouraging.

02:42:35.000 It hurts my feelings.

02:42:37.000 It's wrong on a lot of levels.

02:42:39.000 People are backpedaling on some situations, you know, when you try to hold people's feet to the fire for their actions and hold them accountable.

02:42:45.000 That's truly what we're talking about here.

02:42:49.000 If someone messed up, let's just admit to it.

02:42:51.000 Hey, this was a mistake.

02:42:53.000 This was handled inappropriately.

02:42:59.000 Well, we're all very concerned because I tell you what I see here, from our perspective, because we're covering this day after day after day, this is a very deliberate Countrywide experiment in behavior modification.

02:44:27.000 I had the pleasure, the distinct pleasure of sitting in a room full of people, dignitaries if you would, that don't view themselves as such.

02:44:35.000 They view themselves as servants and they were dedicating their time and resources and energy into constructing a resolution that would reaffirm the inevitable.

02:44:47.000 The pre-existing document, the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, And all they were doing is coming together in a unified effort to say, we're public servants.

02:44:59.000 We're going to protect our sheep.

02:45:00.000 We're going to protect our people and our citizens, our fellow Americans.

02:45:04.000 And we're not going to allow the federal government, any entity, foreign or domestic, to trample the rights of our people.

02:45:15.000 And so I looked into the eyes of each and every one of these people in this room.

02:46:00.000 And again, I mentioned at the beginning of this hour how William Binney, who was the global technical head of the NSA before he resigned because of the illegal activity, he said he didn't want to be an accessory to criminal acts.

02:46:11.000 He knew that it was against the law to spy on Americans, to do this kind of blanket surveillance.

02:46:15.000 He knew they were recording everything.

02:46:17.000 And he resigned rather than be a part of that.

02:46:20.000 And he drew parallels to East Germany.

02:46:22.000 And you know, it was in East Germany, after decades of oppression from the police, they're shooting people who would try to climb over the fence to freedom.

02:46:33.000 People got together at a church, they had a peaceful march, and the police refused to enforce these criminal acts anymore.

02:46:41.000 They refused to be a part of that.

02:46:43.000 And that's what needs to happen.

02:46:44.000 Oath keepers, constitutional sheriffs, and Peace Officer Association, Police chiefs and sheriffs, like you Chief Barger, this is what we need to see happen.

02:46:54.000 We need to see those who have the legitimate authority use it legitimately.

02:47:00.000 We don't see our congressman standing up and impeaching Obama for his criminal actions or holding Eric Holder to the fire for his criminal actions.

02:47:11.000 We need to see people in legitimate authority stand up and exercise that illegitimate authority I concur wholeheartedly.

02:49:56.000 Now, what really happened here is that first his competition complained to the Motion Picture Academy.

02:50:06.000 And they said, no, it played in LA, and they advertised that it wasn't playing in LA, so that's sufficient to give notice.

02:50:12.000 So first they advertised that it wasn't promoted enough, and then they complained that he promoted it too much.

02:50:18.000 When the large studios will rent entire pages in Variety magazine promoting their Oscar nominations, all he did was send around a few emails to tell people, hey, I got nominated, I'd like for you to listen to it and consider it.
