02:34:54.000 There's a very important relationship between the thyroid and your body's stress gland, which is called the adrenal glands.

02:35:01.000 When the adrenal glands become overworked and they're constantly kicking in because you're either eating a lot of sugary foods or you're under a lot of physical stress or psychological stress, the adrenal glands will become overworked and the thyroid will slow down in response.

02:35:14.000 So your thyroiditis may be secondary to a problem with the adrenal glands and that could be a result of whatever was causing the chronic fatigue.

02:35:22.000 I would guess that you had something going on in terms of your diet, in terms of your digestive system.

02:35:26.000 That's usually what's involved with thyroid problems. 1.00

02:35:31.000 If you're not taking the iodine, or if you stop taking the iodine, I would get back on it.

02:35:35.000 Iodine is extremely important for the thyroid.

02:35:37.000 Well, explain that, because you have to have that, but if you don't have it, the body will use something else, right?

02:35:41.000 Well, the body will use bromine, or chlorine, and most of us are getting plenty of chlorine through tap water, so if you're not getting iodine, your body will absorb chlorine and bromine more effectively.

02:35:51.000 In fact, your thyroid will attempt to use it.

02:35:52.000 Now, what's the detoxing thing that does that?
