00:01:35.000 We see this is happening in his hometown, in Chicago.

00:03:18.000 He's going to run to the statist side of everybody else in the Republican Party.

00:03:26.000 Then he's going to run as a centrist statist in the general elections.

00:03:36.000 There was a major event, of course, I'm sure you've heard of it by now.

00:03:39.000 The primary opponent of Vladimir Putin was shot near the Kremlin, in the Kremlin.

00:03:45.000 This would be equivalent to Mitt Romney just before the election being shot close to the Capitol building or the White House, shot on the White House lawn.

00:03:58.000 We're going to look at some other evidence to the contrary about it, but we're also going to take a look at that political assassination.

00:07:11.000 We have an article, we're going to go over and talk about that before Joe Biggs comes on with us in the next hour, talking about how perhaps the corruption and the practices in Chicago were exported to Gitmo, and maybe set up the example for the NDAA, which of course Chicagoan Obama signed, promising that he would never indefinitely detain people without charges, that he would not disappear people.

00:07:40.000 Rahm Emanuel knew about it.

00:07:41.000 It's got big consequences for the election there, even though the local press is pushing back.

00:07:46.000 The Guardian from the UK exposed this story, looking for connections to Gitmo.

00:07:50.000 That's how they stumbled on this story.

00:07:52.000 So there is a connection.

00:07:54.000 We're going to talk to Joe Biggs about the demonstration there yesterday, and what he's seen in the local press, who basically are trying to push this back, to water this down, saying, oh, this is Chicago.

00:08:06.000 People just don't understand that in a big city, the police get kind of rough with people.

00:08:11.000 You know, it's just the way it is.

00:08:12.000 Just get used to that.

00:08:13.000 No, that's just corruption.

00:08:15.000 That's all it is.

00:08:16.000 We're also going to talk about the political assassination in Russia.

00:08:21.000 But before we get to all of those, I want to talk about CPAC, because there was a lot of news this last week, a lot of political news.

00:08:28.000 There's a big field of Republicans, and they were making their case to the Conservative Political Action Committee conference, actually, in Washington.

00:08:38.000 Jeb Bush, of course, everybody is talking about him as being the heir apparent, and I think he probably will be, because I think he's going to let everybody else split the conservative and libertarian vote.

00:08:49.000 He's going to go for the statist-authoritarian side of the Republican Party, and he certainly has the financial backing of the statist-authoritarians.

00:08:58.000 Once these other guys all fight amongst themselves, he'll be the one left on that side, and then he'll be able to run in the center in the general election, the statist central part of the political spectrum.

00:09:09.000 But when he went to CPAC, there were a lot of people say they were going to boo him and walk out, and actually he did get that.

00:09:16.000 They had about two dozen people only that walked out.

00:09:19.000 I think it's better to stay there to Essentially boo him and to turn your back on him as he talks.

00:09:26.000 I think it's better to confront stuff instead of just walking out on it.

00:09:29.000 But certainly they made a point when they did that.

00:09:32.000 They knew this was coming up.

00:09:34.000 People were talking about the fact they were going to do this.

00:09:36.000 So the day before, there was actually an email that went out.

00:09:40.000 This was reported by Slate.

00:09:42.000 They said Jeb Bush backers were being bussed in.

00:09:46.000 And guess where they were coming in? 0.62

00:09:48.000 From K-Street.

00:09:49.000 K-Street is where all the lobbyist firms hang out.

00:09:52.000 K-Street is to lobbyists and corruption what Wall Street is to stocks.

00:09:58.000 And so they pointed out that there's a guy, Fritz Brogan, former advance man for President George W. Bush.

00:10:06.000 He co-hosted a fundraiser for Jeb's Right to Rise pack earlier this month, and he sent out an email.

00:10:10.000 He said, we strongly recommend arriving as early as possible to get a seat.

00:10:14.000 Our Early Rise team will be there at 7.30 onward, helping reserve seats.

00:10:20.000 And he wrote that there were still available seats on buses leaving from K Street and Georgetown.

00:10:26.000 So there you go.

00:10:27.000 They show up and support him by, as I guess John Lennon would say, by rattling their jewelry.

00:10:33.000 Now, the Washington Post and the status press really loved Jeb Bush's performance because he didn't back down on illegal immigration.

00:10:43.000 And of course, the establishment is going to love that.

00:10:45.000 They say, this is the Washington Post saying, he refused to back down particularly on immigration.

00:10:50.000 In a word, he looked presidential.

00:10:53.000 And I guess the question is, presidential for what?

00:10:57.000 Presidential for the United States of America or presidential for what comes after the United States of America?

00:11:03.000 What David Petraeus said was North America.

00:11:07.000 Maybe we should just call it Norte America.

00:11:09.000 That's the NAFTA organization.

00:11:13.000 Underscoring, as we've been saying all along, that NAFTA was not simply a trade agreement.

00:11:19.000 And understand that the Transatlantic Partnership and the Trans-Pacific Partnerships that are being negotiated now are not simply trade agreements.

00:11:27.000 They are going to affect our sovereignty, they're going to affect our freedom in multitude of ways.

00:11:34.000 And that's what NAFTA was.

00:11:35.000 It was a change in our sovereignty, They recognized that.

00:11:39.000 They understood that while they were saying to everybody, no, no, no, no.

00:11:42.000 That's not the case whatsoever.

00:11:43.000 That's just a conspiracy theory.

00:11:45.000 You're extrapolating this into a, you know, this is just a tinfoil hat conspiracy theories.

00:11:51.000 CNN is now running op-ed pieces saying why we need a North American passport.

00:11:57.000 When you look at Keystone Pipeline, you see that a Canadian corporation is given the rights of eminent domain for their private project.

00:12:08.000 Keystone is a private project.

00:12:10.000 We're told that all the time by the Republicans who want to pass this.

00:12:12.000 They say, why wouldn't you give us the rights to something that the State Department wants to do that is being funded with private money?

00:12:20.000 Fine.

00:12:21.000 I'm all for privately funded projects, but when you're going to have a privately funded project run by a foreign corporation from Canada and give them the right to eminent domain, that's not constitutional and it's not just.

00:12:36.000 They should not be able to come in for the Keystone Pipeline and run people off of their property, off of their farms and ranches that have been in their families for over a hundred years.

00:12:47.000 They don't have, the corporations don't have superior private property rights to the individuals.

00:12:53.000 And foreign corporations certainly don't.

00:12:54.000 But this is taking it the next step.

00:12:56.000 This is taking it the next step from the Supreme Court's decision on Kello, which was an abomination.

00:13:02.000 This is taking it now to not only just a A politically connected corporation taking somebody who is a smaller individual, taking their private property, this is giving it to a foreign corporation.

00:13:14.000 That's what I object to about the Keystone Project.

00:13:17.000 I vehemently object to that.

00:13:19.000 But that's where we are.

00:13:20.000 That's part of NAFTA.

00:13:22.000 Because, you know, this is how they pass the goods along to the transnational corporations.

00:13:28.000 And that's what's happening with the transatlantic and transpacific partnerships.

00:13:32.000 It is a further consolidation of sovereignty masquerading as trade agreements.

00:13:37.000 Just like NAFTA masqueraded as a trade agreement.

00:13:41.000 It's not that at all.

00:13:42.000 It's destroying our property and it is elevating corporations to the level of government.

00:13:48.000 The Constitution says they can use eminent domain only if they compensate people for it, if they take the property for public use.

00:13:55.000 If you take the property for private use and give it to a multinational foreign corporation, that is not for public use.

00:14:03.000 That is for private use.

00:14:04.000 And they've said repeatedly, the keystone is for private use.

00:14:07.000 Transatlantic and Trans-Pacific partnerships being negotiated by corporate lobbyists in secret That we cannot see, the public cannot see it.

00:14:15.000 Our elected representatives cannot see it.

00:14:17.000 Our elected representatives are not going to be given time to read it.

00:14:20.000 They don't need to read it because they're going to be blocked under fast track from making any amendments to it.

00:14:26.000 This is the way they're railroading us into a global governance.

00:14:32.000 Where corporations are elevated to the level of governments.

00:14:35.000 Where our sovereignty, our sovereign nations are being destroyed.

00:14:43.000 Now Jeb Bush said to those who are booing him at CPAC, he said, I'm going to mark you down as neutral.

00:14:49.000 We're going to mark down Jeb Bush as disqualified.

00:14:52.000 He said, for those of you making an ooh sound, is that what it was?

00:14:55.000 I'm marking you down as neutral, and I want to be your second choice.

00:14:59.000 Asked if he still supports giving driver's licenses and in-state tuition prices to illegal immigrants.

00:15:08.000 But then he stood by the policies and he noted that a conservative state legislature and governor signed an in-state tuition bill in Florida just last year.

00:15:16.000 Understand, this is in-state tuition for illegal aliens. 0.96

00:15:42.000 He says, I understand that when you got 10 or 12 million people in the country that haven't committed any crime other than violating our immigration law.

00:15:56.000 It's about the enticements.

00:22:35.000 We talked about how Marco Rubio tried to walk back his position on illegal immigration saying, I get it.

00:23:24.000 I remember, if you go back and you look at the Libertarian Party, they have a questionnaire to try to get you to stop thinking on just this left-right line.

00:23:35.000 It was developed by one of the founders of the Libertarian Party, Nolan.

00:23:39.000 And what they do is they ask you 10 questions about personal freedom, 10 questions about, essentially, civil liberties questions.

00:23:45.000 10 that are economic and 10 that are civil liberties, if you want to put it in those areas.

00:23:49.000 And then what you get is an area, a graph, a chart that you can put out.

00:23:54.000 And what they do is they rotate that chart 45 degrees, so now you've got a line that runs left and right, but now you have a higher quadrant, liberty, and you have a lower quadrant, authoritarianism.

00:24:05.000 It's very important to start thinking of things in the right way, to get that perspective, that broader perspective.

00:24:12.000 Because, of course, you can look at Hitler and you can look at Stalin and you can say, well, one of them is they're extreme polar opposites of each other, except they acted exactly the same. 0.86

00:24:23.000 They used a different idea in order to get into power, but they essentially, on this Nolan chart, wind up down near the bottom.

00:24:33.000 When I took the quiz on the 10 economic questions of freedom and the 10 civil liberties questions, I basically sided with liberty in everything except open borders.

00:24:48.000 And I said at the time, you cannot have open borders if you're going to have an unrestricted entitlement state.

00:35:15.000 He pointed out the flaws in Bush's opposition to medical marijuana last year in Florida.

00:35:27.000 But he says, if you've got MS, multiple sclerosis, in Florida, Jeb Bush just voted to put you in jail.

00:35:33.000 If you go down to a local store, a local drug store, and get medical marijuana.

00:35:37.000 Yet he was doing it for recreational purposes.

00:35:43.000 It was a different standard for Jeb Bush because he was from a wealthy family, going to a wealthy school, and he got off scot-free.

00:35:52.000 So did Jeb Bush's daughter.

00:35:54.000 While Jeb Bush was governor, his daughter had problems with prescription drugs.

00:35:59.000 She was arrested for that.

00:36:00.000 I believe that it's not a crime.

00:36:02.000 It should be treated as a medical condition if you get an addiction to stuff like that.

00:36:08.000 But Jeb Bush would lock up your daughter.

00:36:15.000 The judge gets a massive contribution to one of his favorite charities, and the only person who gets in any trouble over it, of course, is the reporter who exposes it.

00:36:24.000 Now, also at CPAC was Michael Hayden, former director of the NSA, and prior to that, former director of the CIA.

00:36:33.000 He had this to say at the NSA, where he was debating Judge Napolitano.

00:36:41.000 If NSA were even capable of doing what the judge has just outlined for you, we wouldn't be having a debate here today.

00:36:56.000 I would be in complete control.

00:36:59.000 The judge is an unrelenting libertarian.

00:37:42.000 This is a guy, you know, kind of like Michael Aquino, another person who was high up in the NSA.

00:37:58.000 Is he defending the rule of law?

00:38:56.000 Now, about a month ago, Michael Hayden went to Washington and Lee University, and he made some equally amazing statements there, and I did a report on it about a month ago.

00:39:10.000 There's a very interesting video that got posted by Washington and Lee University over the weekend.

00:39:15.000 Michael Hayden, who has been at the top of the intelligence community as the surveillance state of the 21st century has been put into place.

00:39:24.000 He was someone who began as the NSA Director around the time of 9-11, shortly prior to that.

00:39:30.000 He then moved on to Director of National Intelligence, then on to the CIA.

00:39:35.000 He's pretty unapologetic about how he's broken the law, and he made some amazing statements at this law symposium.

00:39:43.000 I'm not a law enforcement officer.

00:39:45.000 I don't suspect anybody.

00:39:47.000 He's not law enforcement.

00:39:49.000 He doesn't have any suspects.

00:39:50.000 So I guess that would be why he doesn't go before a judge and get a search warrant.

00:39:55.000 Now remember that in 2006, Michael Hayden told some reporters that the term probable cause is not in the Fourth Amendment.

00:40:04.000 Well, it certainly is in the Fourth Amendment.

00:40:06.000 Of course, it is a right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects.

00:40:13.000 See, that's a right of the people.

00:40:14.000 These are rights that we possess whether or not there's a Constitution or a Fourth Amendment.

00:40:19.000 And the reason that we have the Fourth Amendment is because it puts prohibitions on people like Michael Hayden who think that they don't have or should not have any kind of controls on their actions.

00:40:30.000 They should go before a judge and say that they have a reason to search for the person and they should be very specific about it.

00:40:37.000 But he's turned this upside down.

00:40:39.000 Instead of going to a judge and getting a search warrant saying, this is what I'm looking for, he does a dragnet surveillance of everyone about everything.

00:40:47.000 Here's what else he had to say.

00:40:49.000 This is not about guilt.

00:40:50.000 In fact, let me be really clear.

00:40:55.000 NSA doesn't just listen to bad people.

00:40:59.000 NSA listens to interesting people.

00:41:08.000 He doesn't listen to bad people, he listens to interesting people.

00:49:24.000 Remember that the Ninth Amendment, the ninth of the articles of the Bill of Rights, said that if we don't specifically enumerate a right, that doesn't mean that it's still, that it's not important, and it doesn't mean that we have relinquished it to the central government.

00:49:39.000 And then, essentially making the case even stronger with the Tenth Amendment saying, Things that have not been expressly delegated to the central government are reserved to the states and to the people.

00:49:49.000 So if we let them get by with this, we're going to see that we no longer have habeas corpus.

00:52:53.000 The way that they're using the 215 section that they were given under the Patriot Act Even if that were constitutional, they're still exceeding their authority because that was supposed to be going after people that essentially you could get a search warrant for.

00:53:12.000 Why was Wyden trying to get Clapper to say what he was saying?

00:53:17.000 Because Wyden, in the committee, was losing the vote on 215 consistently 15 to 2.

00:53:25.000 So you put those two clips together and you understand that all the senators knew what was going on that were in the Senate Intelligence Committee.

00:53:32.000 They knew that 215 was being abused, that they were going beyond their legal authority, which went beyond their constitutional authority.

00:53:41.000 And Ron Wyden could not get them to do the right thing.

01:01:32.000 This is something that they've been gradually adding For the last 20 years, it goes back to 1994, the first cars, first a few American car manufacturers and a couple of models started putting these devices in.

01:01:50.000 But as of September of last year, 2014, all new cars and light trucks and vans and SUVs Sold in the U.S.

01:02:05.000 Approximately five seconds before an accident, they will go back and back this up.

01:02:10.000 It's going to record your vehicle speed, your throttle position, your brake application, your engine speed, and your velocity change through the collision.

01:02:17.000 But, of course, there's other aspects of this they'll be able to do as well.

01:02:20.000 They might have sensors alongside the road that if your exhaust is above a certain level, maybe they will shut you down and make you limp back home.

01:02:30.000 That's also built into these devices.

01:02:33.000 There's a lot of different ways they can use this.

01:02:35.000 They're going to use it to charge us by the mile, as well as the taxes that they put into our gasoline.

01:02:41.000 And they are going to use it to drive you from behind the steering wheel to make sure that computer-driven, government-controlled cars are going to be the norm.

01:02:51.000 They will turn driving your car into a hobby at the track.

01:02:55.000 You will not be able to use it for transportation and that's something that should concern all of us because this goes beyond just total surveillance and taxation.

01:03:09.000 Now, along that line, there was an article up on Friday on Infowars.com, why your smartphone records everything you say to it.

01:03:17.000 We know that it's recording us, but did you know that according to the terms of service, Google, Apple, Microsoft, all these companies, not just Samsung, they're recording your voice commands and saving them, saving them, for up to two years.

01:04:32.000 The guy's name is Richard Zooley.

01:04:34.000 He's a detective on Chicago's north side.

01:04:36.000 He worked from 1977 to 2007, 30 years.

01:04:41.000 His record, they say, suggests a continuum between police abuse in urban America and the wartime detention scandals at Gitmo because he was brought there as a U.S.

01:07:26.000 At what has been reported by the Guardian as being a, and they've talked to several witnesses who have given this information, as well as several lawyers, saying people are being held there without being charged, without being arraigned.

01:07:37.000 They were being held there for a very long time, some of them tortured, there's allegations that people have died from this site.

01:07:43.000 And so we're going to talk to our reporters, what they saw yesterday at the demonstration, and what they see today.

01:07:49.000 As I was pointing out in the last segment, this ...has a connection to Gitmo.

01:07:54.000 It was actually in the investigation of Gitmo that The Guardian found this site.

01:08:00.000 Specifically, they were looking at a Chicago detective, Richard Zooley, who had worked for 30 years in Chicago as a detective, and then was a U.S.

01:08:07.000 Navy reservist, a lieutenant.

01:08:10.000 And he went to Gitmo, and they say that what he did there has severely damaged the reputation of the United States.

01:08:17.000 That's putting it mildly.

01:08:19.000 It has severely damaged the rule of law in this country, and it has gone far beyond just our reputation.

01:08:25.000 Now, they point out that this man is currently under investigation for two wrongful convictions.

01:08:32.000 In one of these wrongful convictions, it was a 2013 decision by the state's attorney, Anita Alvarez.

01:08:40.000 She freed an innocent man, they say, that Zully's faulty police work sent to prison for 23 years.

01:08:47.000 Letharial Boyd was convicted in 1990 of murder.

01:08:50.000 He accuses Zooli in a federal civil rights lawsuit of planting evidence and withholding crucial details.

01:08:56.000 Now this guy went on to work at Gitmo as a Navy Reservist.

01:09:01.000 And what he did there was participate in one of the most highly profiled torture cases against a man named Slahi.

01:09:10.000 Inmates said that they confessed untruthfully in order to try and stop the treatments by this fellow Zuli. 1.00

01:09:15.000 And Mark Fallon, the former deputy commander of Gitmo's now-shuttered investigative task force, this is what the Guardian says, said that what he did was illegal, it was immoral, it was ineffective, and it was unconstitutional.

01:09:36.000 And of course, Obama and Rahm Emanuel knew about it.

01:12:52.000 Of course, we've got a radio station there, WBEZ 91.5, saying in the past few years, reporters and other journalists have been to the facility for tours and interviews as well as press conferences.

01:13:02.000 And it's essentially show and tell where the police will show a huge amount of drugs they've seized in various cases.

01:13:07.000 You have a lot of media there and television cameras.

01:13:09.000 But then the Guardian reporter says, look, it wasn't a mischaracterization.

01:13:14.000 That's the headline of the article saying that calling it a black site was a mischaracterization.

01:23:02.000 Yeah, I don't know if it was that guy one guy They had basically they said he they handcuffed him with his arms straight You know to either side stretched out like he's crucified and then one of the cops Beat him and then basically put his foot on his groin and just rubbed it like he's putting out a cigarette butt Yeah, yeah I mean, and it's so mind-blowing that the mainstream media will not jump on this, will not cover it.

01:26:21.000 And then he signs it on New Year's Eve and then says, don't worry, I'm not going to implement it, when it was happening in his own hometown.

01:26:28.000 That's what a lot of people believe, that he and Rahm Emanuel fully knew about all of this.

01:40:43.000 About seven days ago, Liberia lifted their curfew, they opened their borders, but it is still raging and still increasing in Sierra Leone with the vice president of that country in quarantine.
