02:37:40.000 The Chinese, by bringing out this new Asian investment bank, are in the process of displacing Washington's Asian Development Bank.

02:37:53.000 Washington uses development banks, whether the Asian one or the World Bank or other of its financial creatures such as IMF, to impose its financial and political hegemony on other countries.

02:38:11.000 And it's created this new bank in order to actually help countries and build friendships and to build trust.

02:38:54.000 And then Australia and South Korea, which initially had turned down the Chinese invitation to join as a result of Washington's pressure on them, are now reconsidering.

02:39:09.000 I think what's precipitating it is Washington is now so reckless.

02:39:24.000 And the world is beginning to realize that they're under threat of destruction by the incessant lies coming out of Washington about war, particularly with regard to Russia and to China.

02:39:47.000 And they realize that Washington is so out of control in its own mind That it's power is slipping.

02:40:44.000 And so the whole notion of Washington as some sort of a financial safe house is diminishing.

02:41:05.000 And so I think they're saying, hey, look, we better remember that we can go down with the Americans if we don't make some sort of hedge against our American bet.

02:41:18.000 Putin's now called for a Eurasian currency union as well.

02:41:22.000 So this saber-rattling is forcing people out of very compliant stance they were in just six years ago into a obstinate stance.

02:41:42.000 Official Army document, it's public, says they list conservative areas, libertarian areas of California, Texas, and Utah as areas they think might have an uprising, and they're having a joint forces command training to take on domestic groups.

02:42:03.000 I mean, this is reaching Twilight Zone proportions.

02:42:06.000 Who in the world would train the Pentagon and then publicly put out?

02:42:13.000 But they're actually training in huge military operations coming up this summer to basically invade Texas.

02:45:34.000 As the head of policy at the Treasury, number two guy there, sitting down with Reagan, how were you able, over all of their objections, able to get him to take on your economic plan that did create one of the biggest booms we've seen in the last century?

02:45:47.000 Well, actually, he took it on before he got into office as part of his campaign.

02:45:52.000 And when he got there, he realized he was going to have a hard time getting it out of his government.

02:45:57.000 And so he appointed me to get his program out of his own government so it could be voted on in Congress.

02:46:08.000 He was already sold on it, and he put me in charge of it because he knew I was committed to it.

02:46:13.000 What would Ronald Reagan think today if he was seeing all this?

02:48:35.000 He's relying on the main European powers such as Germany and France to realize that their populations, their life, their existence is being threatened by Washington by pushing them into a conflict situation with Russia.

02:48:53.000 And so he's relying on the French and the Germans to simply leave NATO or put their foot down or start blocking The American aggression against Russia.

02:49:05.000 It's very difficult for Washington to carry this on without the complicity of Europe.

02:49:12.000 Well, the Germans lost 21 million people in World War II.

02:49:15.000 That was just 65, 70 years ago.

02:49:17.000 The Russians lost that same amount.

02:49:19.000 You'd think it'd be fresh in their minds not to have a war with Russia.

I mean, a few of their crazy generals But other than that, the population is totally against this, you know, and many of the members of the German parliament, the former chancellors and political leaders have all come out telling Merkel, you really got to stop being Washington's puppet.

02:55:54.000 Washington's doing everything it can to destroy the agreement that was achieved in Minsk.

02:56:00.000 So, soon Russia is going to have four Ukraines. 0.93

02:56:04.000 They're going to have it back in Ukraine, and they're going to have it in three countries along their underbelly border with Asia. 0.79

02:56:12.000 Recently, Victoria Nuland was sent to Armenia to put in motion the color revolution there.

02:56:20.000 They have pulled out of retirement a notorious color revolution agent and sent him to Kyrgyzstan to destabilize that country. 0.89

02:57:36.000 And so this is a very clever policy at destabilizing the other two rising powers.

02:57:44.000 Now, that said, we can turn to the Fed.

02:57:47.000 What the Fed has done First of all, the Fed is no longer an independent agency managing the economic policy on behalf of the country.

02:58:03.000 They are a special interest group that represents four or five major banks.

02:58:08.000 Banks deregulation, free market deregulation, that get too big to fail.

02:58:14.000 And so the entirety of American economic policy since 2008 has had one single purpose, and that's to keep four big banks afloat.

02:58:24.000 In order to keep those big banks afloat, they had to create trillions of new money in order to purchase the worthless assets that the banks... Sure.

03:00:49.000 Because the whole world understands that you can't have massive creation of money and debt and negative interest rates.

03:00:57.000 And so, when they talk about raising interest rates, it's just talk to try to block flight from the dollar.

03:01:05.000 That's all it is.

03:01:05.000 Because if they raise interest rates, the stock market's going to collapse, the bond market's going to collapse.

03:01:12.000 And they've got chaos.

03:01:15.000 When you've spent trillions of dollars to save four banks since 19, since 2008, these are the banks that deregulation allowed to get too large.

03:01:26.000 And these are banks that gamble.

03:01:29.000 They don't make normal loans.

03:01:31.000 They gamble in a casino.

03:01:33.000 And they don't cover their bets.

03:01:34.000 The taxpayers cover the bets and the Federal Reserve covers the bets by printing money and buying the bad bets.

03:01:42.000 And that's what American economic policy is.

03:01:44.000 That's what the Fed is locked into.

03:01:47.000 It really has no way to get out of it.

03:01:49.000 It can't get out of it.

03:01:52.000 And it's stuck with it.

03:01:55.000 Because it wouldn't let the banks fail because the banks control the Fed.

03:01:59.000 Look, who have the Secretaries of the Treasury been?

03:02:05.000 It's the former banksters who caused the financial crisis.

03:02:08.000 Every one of them have rotated through the Treasury.

03:02:12.000 So they're protecting their own mistakes.

03:02:14.000 Look at the Fed.

03:02:15.000 What is the Fed?

03:02:19.000 Look at the New York Fed.

03:02:20.000 Who are the directors of the New York Fed?

03:02:24.000 Everybody at the Justice Department at the top is part of those lobbying groups and consulting groups that write the regulations and the policies and file the papers to let the big banks get away with the derivatives.

03:02:36.000 I mean, it's just a revolving door.

03:02:38.000 It's one small group, and they control the economic policy.

03:02:42.000 So how are they going to take a decision I don't know.

03:02:45.000 up everything they've been trying to do.

03:02:47.000 So they'll keep this going as long as they can.

03:02:49.000 They have everything rigged.

03:02:51.000 It's a house of cards, but it's standing.

03:02:54.000 And it will continue to stand as long as foreign countries are willing to hold the dollar.

03:02:59.000 What does it signify that even the Guardian reports that a lot of these big banker heads, billionaires, are building secret estrips and redoubts in New Zealand and in the Ozarks and that they're scared getting bodyguards?

03:03:12.000 I don't know.

03:03:14.000 I mean, I don't know what it means, but what we do know is the country does not have an economic policy that serves the country or serves business or serves economic growth economically.

03:03:27.000 You see, they tell you that the Fed's policy is designed to encourage the economy, but we don't see a recovery.

03:03:34.000 Sure.

03:03:34.000 There's no recovery.

03:03:35.000 They make one up, but it's not because they don't count the unemployed people.

03:03:39.000 It's amazing.

03:03:40.000 It's just insanity.

03:03:41.000 And the minute we have left, I don't know how these four or five megabanks think they're going to survive a nuclear war with Russia, but maybe they're so arrogant they think that they're immune from that.

03:03:52.000 The neoconservatives think that the United States can win the nuclear war because our stuff is better than the Russians.

03:04:01.000 And we have ABMs, anti-ballistic missiles, and so when the Russians try to retaliate to our first strike, they'll shoot their missiles down.

03:04:13.000 I'm reading a book now by, I think, Andrew Coleman.

03:04:20.000 It doesn't matter.

03:04:21.000 Anyhow, he shows that the United States has endless faith in technology as a way of conducting war.

03:04:35.000 I mean, we know the Russians are going to have subs pop up with cruise missiles and blow up every... I mean, it's going to be an absolute disaster.
