Trade agreements are really treaty agreements and the State Department is trying to get us to sign on to them. In order to get them through Congress, they have to bypass our elected representatives and write their own rules and regulations that have the effect of law. This is what we see with the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and other trade agreements that have been passed by the Obama administration. They have bypassed Congress and are now trying to pass them through the United States Department of State. This means that we will be subject to much more regulation and control by the United State Department. In this segment, we will discuss why this is a betrayal of the First Amendment rights of the American people.
