00:01:23.000 Well, I would say, first of all, she's not a brainwashed host.

00:01:29.000 I think she is a host who is actively involved in brainwashing people, but when they use the term violent extremists, we should understand what's behind that.

00:01:42.000 I was very concerned about what I saw with Wesley Clark, where he was floating the trial balloon saying, we need to identify people who could become extremists.

00:01:52.000 We need to identify people who might become violent extremists.

00:01:56.000 And we need to say to them, you have a right of free speech, but we also have a right to protect ourselves, and we'll lock you up before you do anything.

00:02:06.000 And at the same time, he's floating that trial balloon.

00:02:08.000 Wesley Clark, former general, former Democrat candidate for president.

00:02:13.000 We also have a GOP congressman, McCaul, offering a new bill that sailed through the first committee hearing.

00:02:26.000 It was unanimously passed through with a voice vote.

00:02:28.000 They said, yeah, this is not controversial at all.

00:02:31.000 And what it does is it creates a new Division of Homeland Security to combat violent extremism.

00:02:39.000 So what is this CNN host who's defending the murder of innocent children, the sale of body parts, but accuses this guy who's doing investigations of being a violent extremist?

00:02:51.000 He's not violent.

00:02:52.000 He's taking videos.

00:02:54.000 They're the ones who are violent.

00:02:57.000 We need to understand what's behind this, this political labeling.

00:03:15.000 There's a lot of concern, excuse me, a lot of concern about accidents that have happened at the biolabs in Kansas, the University of Kansas, in terms of research that they've done.

00:03:28.000 But now they're building a massive new lab Over a billion dollars is going to be spent on this and the people in the area are very concerned because the government is going to be bringing in deadly pathogens and doing agricultural research on these deadly pathogens.

00:03:48.000 Things that can be used as bioweapons, things that are very deadly if they get out.

00:09:35.000 Why does it not surprise us, then, that we see this investigation, this interview by CNN, accusing the fellow who made the Planned Parenthood, did the investigation, did the videos, why did they call him a violent extremist?

00:09:53.000 Why did they try to pin that on him?

00:09:55.000 Look, we need to understand where all these things eventually come around.

00:10:00.000 We saw the RICO statutes initially applied to organized crime.

00:10:05.000 Then they applied them to people who were abortion protesters.

00:10:08.000 So we're going to talk about that, but first I want you to see this video.

00:10:11.000 We've got a lot of different news today, but I want to get to this video first because this ties in a lot of things.

00:10:17.000 It's not just the government ignoring what's going on with Planned Parenthood on the Democrat side.

00:10:23.000 But now they're going on the offensive, accusing someone essentially of being a terrorist, using the same term of art, a violent extremist, that they've been floating with legislation and with trial balloons from Wesley Clark, former Democrat presidential candidate, former general, as well as a Republican former Democrat presidential candidate, former general, as well as a Republican offering legislation to create a new department in Homeland Security inside of FEMA to implement what he's talking Identifying people.

00:10:57.000 That's why we have things like unconventional warfare exercises, folks.

00:11:19.000 Planned Parenthood also hasn't produced any evidence that they have any real costs associated with the supply of aborted fetal tissue, especially when they're partnered with a middleman biotech company.

00:11:32.000 That sends technicians into the clinics to do the harvesting, to identify the patients, to receive the fetuses, dissect the specimens, ship them off.

00:12:11.000 She calls it the fetal tissue of this.

00:12:13.000 She selects what she wants and she takes it with her.

00:12:18.000 It's very, very easy for us, very, very profitable for us, in other words.

00:12:24.000 Are they doing something that they're getting compensated for?

00:12:28.000 That would be the gray area on this.

00:12:30.000 But she admitted, and he was pointing out in that clip, that that's not what's involved here.

00:12:38.000 ...absorbed by other outside biotech companies, yet Planned Parenthood is still receiving payments per specimen that they produce.

00:12:45.000 David, I want to stop you there because we did ask Planned Parenthood about that, about your claims, and we also asked STEM Express, and both of them say that you're wrong.

00:12:52.000 They say that there are the only costs that Planned Parenthood gets Are the costs for transfer, if it involves storage, if it involves the time that it takes for a staff member to get consent from a patient.

00:13:28.000 So now here are two different organizations, Planned Parenthood and the middleman that you're talking about saying that they're not being paid for the sale of fetal tissue.

00:13:38.000 Yeah, I think it's really cute that they have their stories straight and that they're covering up for each other.

00:13:43.000 But I think that the next question that the media should be asking of STEM Express and Planned Parenthood is if you go to our website, centerformedicalprogress.org, we have an advertisement from STEM Express That was an advertisement for Planned Parenthood Clinics to tell them that they could make a financial profit, that they could have fiscal growth to their clinics, that it would be a financial benefit to the Planned Parenthood Clinics if they partnered with StemXpress to supply aborted fetal tissue.

00:14:07.000 And that advertisement was endorsed by one of Planned Parenthood's medical directors, Dr. Dorothy Ferguson.

00:14:13.000 So, I'm not sure how that flyer that StemXpress has been passing out to Planned Parenthood Clinics squares with the statement that they just gave you.

00:14:21.000 Yeah, so in other words, they're putting out a flyer that says that you can make a lot of money selling your tissue to us, that's Stem Express putting out.

00:14:28.000 But then they say, well, Planned Parenthood isn't making any profit.

00:14:31.000 They're just recovering some of their costs.

00:14:34.000 Two different stories.

00:14:36.000 And you hear one story from them, and then you hear another story when they know, when they don't think anybody is watching them.

00:14:44.000 You know, we talked to Doug Hagman yesterday, and he is a licensed investigator in multiple states.

00:14:48.000 He's worked with the FBI and with others in terms of investigations of criminal activity.

00:14:53.000 This is not a conspiracy theory.

00:14:56.000 This is not a hoax.

00:14:57.000 This is not entrapment.

00:14:59.000 There are people who are saying that this is being done by Planned Parenthood.

00:15:04.000 There were questions about what was being done.

00:15:06.000 This wasn't a complete setup.

00:15:08.000 They didn't come in and say, well, you know, why don't you think of doing this?

00:15:11.000 This is something, obviously, they've been doing for quite some time.

00:15:14.000 They're talking about how they did it.

00:15:16.000 They're talking about how they had people previously that they've been contracting with.

00:15:20.000 This is how they do it.

00:15:21.000 We don't have to do anything, which means they have no cost.

00:15:25.000 That's what they're telling people in this investigation.

00:15:29.000 All investigations are done like this.

00:15:32.000 This is not a cleverly edited video.

00:15:37.000 Let's go to the next clip because this is where it gets, I think, even more sinister.

00:15:43.000 Your critics, critics of your organization I should say, say that you're not journalists as you purport to be on your website, but rather you're violent extremists.

00:15:51.000 They say that you are operating under the guise of investigative reporting, but really you're trying to shut down all Planned Parenthoods and women's access to things like birth control and other services that they provide.

00:16:05.000 Do you have any ties to Operation Rescue?

00:16:11.000 First, number one, I'm not a violent person and I never have been and I never will be.

00:16:16.000 Troy Newman is one of the board members of the Center for Medical Progress.

00:16:19.000 And Troy Newman is the president of Operation Rescue that does have, I mean Operation Rescue does have a history of threatening violence against abortion clinics.

00:16:30.000 You know, I don't think that's true at all.

00:16:32.000 You'd have to talk to Troy specifically about the full history of Operation Rescue and some of those details, but I don't think that's a fair characterization at all.

00:16:43.000 As far as the second point, Ultimately, the two and a half year long investigative journalism study that the Center for Medical Progress conducted about Planned Parenthood's sale of fetal tissue, ultimately that's about exposing to the public the reality of how Planned Parenthood conducts their fetal tissue sales and what their relationship with companies like Stem Express is like.

00:17:04.000 It's not an issue of the rest of Planned Parenthood's services or whether or not those are a good thing.

00:17:10.000 It's specifically about showing the public exactly how those sales work and documenting those in a way that everybody can see.

00:17:20.000 This is the pre-crime aspect.

00:17:23.000 This is the incrimination by the media.

00:17:25.000 What she's doing to him is exactly what Glenn Beck did to the Bundys when he had him on his program and they said, are you a sovereign citizen?

00:17:36.000 These are terms they've created, terms of art that they use to not only assassinate people, but they're going to be used to lock people up.

00:17:47.000 Now he didn't know what that meant, and I'm sure that David Daleiden doesn't understand that this violent extremist is a term of art that's being used.

00:17:58.000 I mean, the people that they were courting were the ones who were violent, but they were just doing an investigation.

00:18:03.000 There was nothing at all violent about that.

00:18:04.000 There's absolutely no justification for her to accuse him of that.

00:18:10.000 You need to be aware of how they're bringing this out.

00:18:13.000 You need to be aware of the trial balloons of Wesley Clark.

00:18:15.000 You need to be aware of the GOP legislation, because the GOP is ready to sacrifice every one of your rights on the altar of state security.

00:18:28.000 That's going to have you living under an authoritarian government.

00:18:33.000 Many of you may have heard of a pastor called Randy Alcorn.

00:18:37.000 He's not a pastor anymore, but he is a writer.

00:18:39.000 He's done a lot of Christian fiction books, very popular.

00:18:42.000 He's made millions and millions of dollars with these books that he writes, but he hasn't earned a cent.

00:18:48.000 And there's a reason for this.

00:18:50.000 He refuses to take the money because he lost in a lawsuit.

00:18:54.000 They came after him with a lawsuit.

00:18:56.000 They've come after others with RICO statutes.

00:18:59.000 People who were passive protesters.

00:19:02.000 People who stood outside an abortion clinic with signs like many of us at InfoWars did when we organized that protest at a local abortion clinic.

00:19:11.000 They would get judgments against people.

00:19:12.000 In the case of Randy Alcorn, Back in 1989, Portland Police had arrested him several times for blocking the doors of abortion clinics.

00:19:21.000 One of the clinics had sued him and other rescuers, quote-unquote.

00:19:25.000 They want a small judgment plus attorney fees.

00:19:27.000 He refused to pay on principle.

00:19:30.000 He said it would violate his conscience to write a check to an abortion clinic.

00:19:34.000 Now, he had already placed his assets, his home, his car, other things, in his wife's name.

00:19:40.000 And he was not going to pay that judgment, but they came after him, even garnishing his wages, so he resigned as a pastor.

00:19:48.000 He has made millions of dollars in royalties, and he has refused to turn a cent over.

00:19:54.000 That's the way they will come after you, and they will use the RICO statutes, they will use these new statutes against violent extremists, against anyone that they consider to be a political enemy.

00:27:09.000 They're not allowed to protect themselves.

00:27:11.000 Only the MPs are allowed to have arms.

00:27:12.000 The rest of them are locked up on bases.

00:27:15.000 So far, no injuries have been reported in either incident.

00:27:23.000 We also have to be concerned about it if it's a false flag because of the military operations that are going on with Jade Helm and other things.

00:55:27.000 They've announced that they are going to use jets to strike any pro-rebel, pro-US rebel forces that are under attack by the Syrian government.

00:55:43.000 forces, the SAS, dressing up as ISIS and we know that the U.S.

00:55:47.000 has been involved in giving material as well as training to these rebels as a way to take down the Syrian government.

00:55:55.000 They're quietly stepping up this war.

00:55:57.000 They have no authority to do it.

00:55:59.000 This is all just an executive order war.

00:56:04.000 Let's look at some of these other articles that I think show us how the U.S.

00:56:13.000 researchers show that computers can be hijacked to send data as sound waves.

00:56:17.000 This is a team of security researchers have demonstrated the ability to hijack standard equipment inside computers, printers, and millions of other devices in order to send information out of an office via sound waves that may or may not be audible.

00:56:31.000 This is something we don't really realize how much surveillance the government has been capable of, both technologically and by their ignoring our laws against this kind of violation of our privacy.

00:56:44.000 This has been going on, things like this, for a very long time.

00:56:46.000 I remember back in the early 80s, when I was working as an engineer, they called it tempesting.

00:56:52.000 And what they would do is they would try to isolate keyboards so that their electronic signals could not be monitored.

00:57:02.000 side the ability to eavesdrop inside of a building and listen to the electronic signals that were being sent out by the keyboards if they weren't properly isolated electromagnetically.

01:01:15.000 Now, this brings up a question as to not only are they trying to distract us from looking at the obvious and horrendous story behind Planned Parenthood, Trying to distract us from looking at those who are not doing trophy hunting, but are basically killing children, selling their body parts for a lot of money so they can get their trophy cars or trophy houses.

01:01:39.000 But it also brings up a lot of other issues of hypocrisy even beyond that.

01:01:44.000 We've seen airlines say now that they are not going to fly any Parts that are any trophy lions.

01:01:51.000 They're not going to allow them on their airlines.

01:01:55.000 Will they stop flights to Zimbabwe?

01:01:59.000 Will they stop flights because of Mugabe who has hunted white farmers to extinction in his country?

01:02:54.000 Regardless of what your feelings are about hunting, you need to understand, as the person who defended getting that trophy lion for Robert Mugabe, you need to understand that these lions, who are older, who are kicked out of the pride, become predators not only of farm animals, but they become predators of humans as well.

01:03:17.000 They could have hunting expeditions in a way that would help to preserve wildlife, but not in a kleptocracy like the one that Robert Mugabe runs in Zimbabwe.

01:34:12.000 I mean, because this is two days now, a red truck, they haven't got anybody.

01:34:16.000 And then now, just about an hour ago, they detained a guy who was in a red truck.

01:34:24.000 So now you have these cops just pulling over everyone in a red truck in Hadesburg, right outside of Camp Shelby.

01:34:31.000 You've got a red truck, you're a suspect.

01:34:33.000 Kind of like if you've got a white van, you're a suspect.

01:36:10.000 They say in this particular case last May, for example, and there's been some additional ones recently, The wife of a military member was approached in front of her home by two Middle Eastern males.

01:36:19.000 The men stated that she was the wife of a U.S. 0.59

01:36:22.000 So I said, your husband's a U.S.

01:36:25.000 They confront her about that.

01:36:27.000 When she denied their claims, they laughed at her, then left the area.

01:36:39.000 Similar incidents in Wyoming have been reported to the FBI throughout June 2015.

01:36:43.000 And then there is this notice that they have embedded in their report at CBS that is dated 2nd July 2015.

01:36:51.000 Middle Eastern males approaching family members of US military personnel at their homes in Colorado and Wyoming as of June 2015.

01:37:01.000 Because if the FBI had a hand in this, they would have already busted it because they would have set the people up and then we've already had arrests by now.

01:37:52.000 I mean, it's easy when the government collects everything on people, it makes everybody vulnerable.

01:38:00.000 Joe, I remember Years and years ago, when they first started doing these automated toll technology, first started presenting itself, I remember there was a debate in the Netherlands over whether they would allow this or not.

01:38:12.000 People were concerned about their privacy and they were so concerned about it because their government there, you know, being a good, you know, a Dutch government where everything is very efficient and everything, they were keeping all this information about the citizens on 3x5 cards.

01:38:25.000 They had them packed so tightly.

01:38:27.000 That when the Germans came in with the Blitzkrieg, very rapidly overtook their country, they tried to destroy these records, but they were packed so tightly they couldn't set them on fire. 0.88

01:38:37.000 And so the Nazis got all this information and just used it as a shopping list to get anybody that they thought might be a problem for them, anybody that was Jewish, anybody that would oppose them as a political opponent or whatever, just used it as a shopping list to go round people up and take them to concentration camps.

01:38:56.000 Well, I mean, also, too, you have Operational Security OpSec.

01:38:59.000 There's a lot of people who post information on Facebook that they just shouldn't be posting as well, too.

01:39:12.000 And there's a lot of these guys who troll these accounts, and they know Based on being overseas, someone will get their name and go, all right, start looking for this guy's Facebook account.

01:39:20.000 And sure enough, you'll have guys saying, oh, I'm an interrogator for the U.S.

01:39:24.000 Oh, this is where I live.

01:39:25.000 They don't make anything private.

01:39:26.000 They don't, they just, most people don't think it'll ever happen to them. 0.98

01:39:47.000 That's what we're seeing in this latest Planned Parenthood situation, where you've got a CNN anchor using the term of art that the government had just created.

01:39:56.000 They're creating a new department Under FEMA, under Homeland Security, that is going to look at violent extremists, they're going to identify them as, before they do anything, just as Wesley Clark floated the trial balloon, Congressman McCaul was putting in the legislation, and of course it just passed through committee, breezed through there unanimously, on its way to becoming a law, where they're going to come after people just because they identify, based on their computer models, whether or not they think you're going to be some kind of a threat to them.

01:40:25.000 And as Leslie Clark said, you know, you can exercise your free speech, that's fine.

01:40:28.000 But we put people in prison camps that we thought were threats to us.

01:40:31.000 And we're going to put you in a prison camp if we think that you might become an extremist, if you might become violent.

01:40:36.000 And some of the things that he mentioned off of social media were, well, let's say that your girlfriend broke up with you, or you lost your job, or whatever.

01:40:42.000 They're looking at all of that stuff.

01:40:44.000 Yeah, they're saying that you're depressed, you're drunk posting stuff, and then you go back and look at your pictures, you've got pictures with guns everywhere, and you're sitting there doing all these, you know, little poses, and you're like, oh my god, this guy, he's about to snap!

01:40:58.000 His girlfriend broke up with him, he owns guns, he's obviously going to go on a violent rampage.

01:41:01.000 Yeah.

01:41:02.000 Let's go get this guy. 0.72

01:41:03.000 You post a lot of pictures of yourself holding guns on on the Internet.

01:41:06.000 You're liable to even have them use you as a patsy and then put those pictures up to justify the fact.

01:41:34.000 Middle East individuals are contacting U.S. military and making threats to them.

01:41:40.000 This article comes out, Arabic is now the most common language of refugees in America.

01:41:46.000 Not only are we working, With ISIS and Al-Qaeda creating these organizations, equipping them, training them.

01:41:53.000 And we've had numerous times we've talked about that.

01:41:55.000 There's been video caught of them delivering weapons, massive quantities by helicopter.

01:42:01.000 Or they pull out of an area and just let these guys take it over.

01:42:04.000 But now we're stepping it up to where our government has said, we're going to launch airstrikes against anybody that we think are pro-US rebels.

01:42:12.000 That's something Obama's been going after for a long time.

01:42:14.000 He is hell-bent on going after Syria.

01:42:18.000 They want to, and it's funny because they keep doing this under, you know, the beard of the Cecil the Lion, the new plane wreckage stuff that's washed up on the island.

01:42:29.000 But meanwhile, while they're talking about this and everyone in the country is in tears and up in arms over this lion in Africa, Obama is trying to put us full-on in war with Syria.

01:42:41.000 Absolutely, and of course this is, again, going back to Wesley Clark, the same guy who was just floating the trial balloon about detaining people, putting them in prison camps like we did Japanese people, just because they were Japanese during World War II, saying that we're going to identify people and put them away.

01:42:56.000 It was Wesley Clark who said that Syria was on the list.

01:42:59.000 He said it was next on the list a long time ago.

01:43:01.000 He had a list of several countries that we were going to go to war with.

01:43:04.000 When we look at this article about Arabic, They're pointing out that of the 11,300 refugees that have been admitted to the U.S.

01:43:12.000 this year, 4,400 of them speak Arabic.

01:43:15.000 In other words, that's more than a third of the people coming in.

01:43:17.000 So not only are these people our allies, not only are we equipping people who are rebels that are pro-U.S.

01:43:24.000 so to speak, okay, but Just like we created Al-Qaeda, we called them the Mujahideen when we created them against the Russians. 0.75

01:43:32.000 And then Osama Bin Laden became our most wanted man or whatever.

01:43:35.000 They're bringing these people who they think that they control into the United States now in massive quantities. 0.66

01:43:41.000 Yeah, they bring them in and then they also can come across the porous border on the south side.

01:43:46.000 And we've seen it time and time again.

01:43:47.000 Well, these are legal.

01:43:48.000 These are guys that they brought in legally.

01:43:51.000 Gave sanction to.

01:43:52.000 Made them refugees and everything. 1.00

01:43:54.000 And of course, as you point out, we don't know how many are coming in across the border.

01:43:57.000 And we don't know how many are being legally brought in who are sleeper cells as well.

01:44:00.000 People who wait and be brought over patiently sitting there waiting.

01:44:04.000 It's happened before.

01:44:05.000 Waiting to be activated.

01:44:06.000 Just waiting on that one thing that they're told to and then they go and attack.

01:44:10.000 And like we showed, the drug smuggling come across the border.

01:44:13.000 It's not just about drugs.

01:44:14.000 Yeah, we know drugs come across the border every day.

01:44:17.000 Got it.

01:44:17.000 But one time, one of those packages could be a dirty bomb.

01:44:22.000 We know drugs are coming across, but just as easy as I saw those seven guys come across the river with those packages, that could be a dirty bomb, that could be ISIS, that could be anything, because we have no eyes on it, we're not watching, and it's easy for these Border Patrol guys to get paid off to look the other way.

01:44:39.000 And of course they come in within the, you know, well into the United States border and start harassing American citizens, demanding to see our identity papers, just like we're Nazi Germany or something, yeah.

01:44:53.000 This is the State Department fielding questions from a pretty persistent reporter asking what is the legal authority for us to start a war with Syria, or to step up the war that's been going on for some time there.

01:45:06.000 What is the legal basis for the authority that the Obama administration gave itself to attack anyone who's attacking Syrian opposition forces at the U.S.

01:45:15.000 The legal authority?

01:45:19.000 Well, you're talking about in Syria and in protection of the anti-ISIL coalition fighters that have in part been trained by the U.S.

01:45:33.000 I frankly don't know what the legal authority is.

01:45:35.000 What we're very clear about is that they're fighting in frankly a lawless area of Syria.

01:45:45.000 They're under attack and under pressure from a lot of different forces.

01:45:47.000 Mostly ISIL, but other forces as well in that region.

01:45:58.000 And I think what you're trying to convey, and we talked about this yesterday, is the fact that we're bringing airstrikes to bear on ISIL in that area as they advance on ISIL-held territory or ISIL-held is the fact that we're bringing airstrikes to bear on ISIL in that area as they advance And it's actually been effective in fighting ISIL.

01:46:26.000 What we were trying to convey is that we'll also do defensive efforts in case organizations, Or in the hypothetical that they would come under fire from Syrian forces.

01:46:38.000 So the only thing that changed since the announcement is the authority to go after Assad government forces, basically, because the U.S.

01:46:45.000 had been bombing ISIS targets in Syria before that.

01:46:49.000 Let me clarify.

01:46:50.000 I said defensive measures.

01:46:52.000 Yes, but I'm sorry, but what would be the legal basis for attacking Syrian government forces?

01:46:59.000 Is that the AUMF?

01:47:01.000 Do you have congressional authorization?

01:47:05.000 Well, again, we have, as part of the coalition, and obviously, but we've been carrying out airstrikes in that region for many months now, almost a year.

01:47:16.000 And the same in defense of these groups, but also to help them gain territory back from ISIL.

01:47:26.000 Is there any type of The effort to protect them from Syrian forces would be defensive in nature, but I'm not going to talk about the legal framework.

01:47:36.000 I'm sorry, but this is a major shift in policy.

01:47:40.000 It's one thing to go after ISIS.

01:47:42.000 It's something else to attack forces that threaten the forces that go after ISIS.

01:47:48.000 Do you have congressional approval for that?

01:47:52.000 Are you going to seek congressional approval for that?

01:47:55.000 Under what authorization are you doing that?

01:47:57.000 At whatever steps we took would be in close consultation with Congress.

01:48:02.000 I'm sorry, but why do you think you don't need a UN Security Council decision on this?

01:48:08.000 Was that why we think we need one?

01:48:10.000 You don't need one.

01:48:11.000 We're obviously in close consultations with the U.N.

01:48:13.000 Security Council.

01:48:16.000 You know, Syria is a very complex situation.

01:48:18.000 I've said this multiple times.

01:48:21.000 I want to talk about this.

01:48:22.000 You know, when I hear them talking about this as if they need to get U.N.

01:48:26.000 Security Council clearance, I'm reminded, Joe, of that back and forth between Senator Sessions and Leon Panetta when he was Defense Secretary.

01:48:34.000 And Sessions is saying, you know, under what Conditions, can you use military force?

01:48:39.000 And he's trying to get him to say, well, we would go to Congress and we would get a declaration from Congress, because constitutionally that's what's required.

01:48:46.000 But of course, Panetta didn't say that.

01:48:48.000 He'd say, well, we will talk to the people at NATO, we'll talk to the United Nations, and Senator Sessions says, well, what about Congress?

01:48:55.000 Well, we would advise Congress as to what we're doing.

01:48:58.000 And he's like, I can't believe what I'm hearing here.

01:49:01.000 You were a former congressman.

01:49:02.000 You know what the Constitution says.

01:49:04.000 You know that you're supposed to get authorization for war from Congress, not from NATO, not from the UN, and of course now they really could care less even about going to those two.

01:49:14.000 They're going to do whatever they wish at this point.

01:49:16.000 Syria is going to get demolished and ISIS will come out on top because there's been air campaigns going on over Syria, supposedly going after ISIS, for almost a year now from multiple different countries.

01:49:26.000 And there's been reports that there's been zero There has been zero effect on ISIS on their manpower whatsoever.

01:49:34.000 So with all these air campaigns going on to go after ISIS, they've really had no significant drop in manpower on the ground out there.

01:49:42.000 And the only people who are suffering are the people of Syria. 0.99

01:49:45.000 Well, exactly as this reporter said, it's a different thing to Attack ISIS and to defend ISIS.

01:49:51.000 And that's what they're talking about with this policy is defending ISIS.

01:49:54.000 And of course they created ISIS. 0.77

01:49:56.000 They created ISIS as a tool to overthrow Syria. 0.74

01:50:00.000 And they've been trying to go after Syria.

01:50:01.000 Now ISIS is spilling over into Iraq and so forth and so on.

01:50:05.000 Whether they wish that to happen or whether that's an unintended consequence, we don't really know.

01:50:09.000 But it's amazing for me to see this guy talking about how, well, I don't know what legal authority, he doesn't even address that.

01:50:16.000 He says, well, it's a lawless area.

01:50:17.000 It's kind of like when Al Gore said there's no controlling legal authority here.

01:50:21.000 The White House.

01:50:22.000 And that's true, there is no controlling legal authority in Washington, because Washington itself is a lawless area.

01:50:27.000 But he says these are defensive measures.

01:50:30.000 I mean, we're there.

01:50:31.000 We've created this rebel force, ISIS, that's there. 0.78

01:50:36.000 We're defending ISIS.

01:50:37.000 These are defensive measures for ISIS.

02:00:46.000 I want to get his opinion about what's happening with politics, but I think there's also, we've got an article up on Infowars.com, and this is the question, Joe, that I would ask any of these candidates.

02:00:57.000 If I was allowed to ask one of them, I would say, can the government, can the federal government ban anything, anything?

02:01:04.000 I mean, we had a constitutional amendment to ban alcohol.

02:01:07.000 We got another one, we had the 18th, what was it, 18th and 21st, I think, to ban it and then to make it legal again.

02:01:13.000 We had a hundred years ago a Congress that recognized that they did not have the authority, the federal government was not delegated the authority, and the Ninth and Tenth Amendments make it very clear that unless expressly given the authority, they don't have it.

02:01:26.000 That's still retained by the people, by the states.

02:01:28.000 The states could create alcohol prohibition if they wanted to, or they could, like we've seen with Colorado and with Washington State, they could say we're going to decriminalize Marijuana.

02:01:39.000 But we've got a Republican candidate, Chris Christie, who says that if he's elected president, he's going to shut that down.

02:01:46.000 So the question I would ask these guys is, where's your authority to ban anything, including things like cancer drug treatments or supplements, like many of them have tried to ban?

02:01:54.000 I just don't get why people would jump on this whole ban marijuana wagon.

02:01:58.000 Because you have to understand, how many people out there who smoke pot, who normally aren't going to go out and vote.

02:02:05.000 As soon as you do that, it seems like that would be a smart move to make, to go ahead and be all in for it, legalize it.

02:02:12.000 You're going to get a lot of people's votes.

02:02:14.000 And at the end of the day, guess what?

02:02:16.000 It's not a bad thing.

02:02:17.000 It helps people out.

02:02:18.000 Yeah, I don't think it really helped Chris Christie do that, because as I pointed out before, when he went to the New Jersey racetrack on Sunday, he was routinely booed.

02:02:25.000 Of course, he's not very popular now in New Jersey.

02:02:27.000 I don't think he'd get re-elected as governor, so maybe he'll fail up.

02:02:32.000 But I don't think so.

02:02:33.000 I think he's in that junior varsity team now, as far as the debate goes.

02:02:37.000 I don't know, he might have made the top ten, but I'm not sure.

02:02:40.000 I'd have to go back and look at that again.

02:02:41.000 Oh, he did make the top ten.

02:02:43.000 So he's in the top ten.

02:02:44.000 But of course, this is something that again is really simply a horse race, like the story I mentioned yesterday.

02:02:49.000 Just two months ago, if we look at the totals that people had, we had Bush, Carson, Huckabee, Rubio, Walker, all tied at 10% according to a Quinnipiac poll that was just two months ago.

02:02:59.000 And then there was Rand Paul at 7%, but of course he didn't show up.

02:03:03.000 They excised that.

02:03:05.000 They took him out.

02:03:06.000 And they showed people who got less than Rand Paul.

02:03:09.000 Which would be Cruz at 5%, Trump at 5%, Christie at 4, Fiorina at 2, Kasich at 2, but Rand Paul at 7?

02:03:15.000 He didn't show up.

02:03:17.000 And then we have, now over the last couple of months, because of the inflammatory rhetoric that Donald Trump has said, also because he speaks truth to power.

02:03:26.000 That's very attractive to people, but he's also said it in a very inflammatory way.

02:03:30.000 He's gotten a lot of coverage.

02:03:32.000 He's gotten, as Rand Paul points out, probably about a billion dollars worth of coverage.

02:03:35.000 If you look at the number of minutes that they have given to people, he's gotten virtually all of the coverage.

02:03:42.000 Trump's going to lead it the whole way, and then when it comes time, Bush is going to be the guy that comes in.

02:03:46.000 Yeah, that's interesting.

02:03:47.000 But that should open people's eyes, though, to show you that the American people are obviously voting out there and, you know, going out doing these polls.

02:03:55.000 And people like Trump, they like what he says, but the establishment doesn't want that.

02:03:59.000 They want someone they can buy out, they've already bought out that entire family.

02:04:03.000 And they want to get him in.

02:04:06.000 And it's interesting also, you know, to look at Donald Trump.

02:04:09.000 I mean, he was originally, you know, when we talk about him, is he a dark horse candidate? 0.87

02:04:14.000 Is he there as cover for somebody like a Jeb Bush or even Hillary Clinton?

02:04:17.000 Because before he started giving money to Republicans, he was giving a lot of money to the Clinton family.

02:04:23.000 He also gave money to Ted Cruz about a year ago.

02:04:26.000 He was saying that he didn't think that Ted Cruz was qualified to run for president because of natural born citizen requirements.

02:04:32.000 Then he changed his tune.

02:04:34.000 He started giving money to Ted Cruz before he himself started running for presidency.

02:04:39.000 And of course, the two of them have met privately.

02:04:42.000 They have a very similar stance in terms of saying things that are going to be offensive to the Washington power structure.

02:04:49.000 That's a lot of the popularity of both of them.

02:04:51.000 So it'll be interesting to see how this works out.

02:11:33.000 I want you to imagine, and many of the people listening and watching today, who have a child who is special needs, emotionally handicapped, emotionally disturbed, behavioral, and I don't even want to use these terms because I'm not sure what terms people find objectionable, but I think you know what we're talking about.

02:11:54.000 Now, David, I have been a prosecutor, I've been a lawyer most of my adult life.

02:12:00.000 I have seen grown men Tough.

02:12:04.000 Cry like a baby when they're put in the back of a patrol car.

02:12:09.000 When they feel the wrist bracelets of being handcuffed and the fear, the light, the sound.

02:12:18.000 It's a, it's a sensory overload.

02:12:21.000 The, the, the, the, the, the whole spectrum is, these are grown men.

02:12:28.000 You're a child who doesn't necessarily understand things the way we wish that child would.

02:12:35.000 And through the prism of a child sees this horror and wonders, I'm not in trouble.

02:12:49.000 I'm in the back of a patrol car.

02:12:51.000 I'm being frog-marched out of my class, subject to the humiliation, the shame, the indignity, the finger-pointing.

02:13:04.000 I'm gonna come back to school and hear the chiding and the remarks, hey, jailbird, for, this is the best part, On my column today, on my piece today on lionelmedia.com, I reprinted an article, David, showing 19 examples of why kids are being arrested.

02:13:27.000 Failing to pick, oh I'm serious, failing to pick up crumbs.

02:13:30.000 Writing on a desk, scribbling, I love Abby.

02:13:41.000 If you think that this is somehow getting tough, you know, spare the ride, spoil the child, if you think that and you don't see what's happening in the militarization of the police now bleeding over into the classroom, Yeah, that's the thing that's really concerning, because you and I went to school, we didn't have police in the schools.

02:14:02.000 We had spanking in the schools, quite frankly, and one of the reasons I brought that up was because I thought it was such an amazing counterpoint to each other.

02:14:12.000 At the same time, the UN which is not involved in America, shouldn't be involved in America, wants to dictate to parents how to do discipline.

02:14:20.000 We turn the police state loose on our children in our schools to not only do things that are far worse than the spankings that we used to have from the principals, they are tasering children.

02:14:31.000 We have a kid down here in Bastrop that got tasered.

02:14:33.000 He wasn't doing anything.

02:14:35.000 The cop walks up to him.

02:14:37.000 It was a fight.

02:14:37.000 He wasn't even involved in the fight.

02:14:39.000 If anything, he was trying to stop the people.

02:14:43.000 The kid falls down, hits his head on a concrete floor, and now he's brain damaged for the rest of his life.

02:14:48.000 What's going on when they come after parents and saying, we're going to take your kids away if you spank kids, we're going to throw you in jail, and yet they send out these types of people to victimize even disabled, mentally handicapped kids in wheelchairs.

02:15:33.000 When that son walked in all four feet tall, wearing full penguin regalia, in the hot Tampa-Hillsborough County sun, and not breaking a sweat in black and cardboard, You, I never heard of a policeman.

02:15:50.000 Now, years later, David, you might recall, there was something called the School Resource Officer, or the SRO.

02:15:57.000 This was the officer Who kind of was like, hey David, how are you officer Friendly? 0.63

02:16:05.000 And it was a slow introduction of a guy who was just kind of there.

02:16:17.000 What happens is, instead of a police, of a teacher, and by the way, we have two concomitant rules of blame here, two vectors of liability.

02:16:26.000 The police, who can exercise discretion and say, I'm not going to arrest a kid!

02:16:30.000 I know I'm not going to do this!

02:16:32.000 And the teacher.

02:16:35.000 But David, they would, they're now calling 911.

02:16:39.000 Now, what's interesting to notice, and you brought this up by the UN, to show you how schizophrenic it is.

02:16:44.000 You know, this is learned helplessness.

02:16:46.000 This is classic learned helplessness where you are so beaten down, you can't predict what to do anymore.

02:16:53.000 The classic story of the dog who was given electric shocks so many times that when you open up the pen, it just sits there and says, I can't even move anymore.

02:17:03.000 But the UN is telling you either You're being too strict and you shouldn't spank your kids and we're going to come after you or it's okay to be excessive and go after a child and I don't know how this thing works.

02:17:19.000 So what we're seeing here is the systematic habituation and the conditioning Of adults and parents to this thing called authority.

02:17:31.000 This absolute heartless, mindless, learned helplessness.

02:17:37.000 You know, David, I want you to go through these lists of people, or these conditions, of what kids have been basically arrested for.

02:17:48.000 Let's assume your child has a scrape with the law, so to speak.

02:18:00.000 Your child can't because your child's got a record.

02:18:06.000 Going all the way back to kindergarten.

02:18:07.000 That's where they're going to start this, right?

02:18:09.000 So now you're, now you're, so, so you have, you have this, this over enforcement of this and again i want to say you know david we we have kids who are being we're drowning in in psych meds who are over medicated who have very serious emotional and behavioral problems i was a juvenile prosecutor

02:18:36.000 that's not a description of my mental wherewithal but i saw these kids and more often than not it was my first my my first look at how the criminal justice system handles mental health.

02:18:55.000 And that kid's gonna say, using Pavlovian conditioning, every time I see a cop, every time somebody tells me no, I'm gonna remember that.

02:19:05.000 I'm gonna remember how they made me feel.

02:19:08.000 I'm gonna remember how they laughed at me.

02:19:10.000 I'm going to remember how afraid I was.

02:19:13.000 I remember how nobody was there to protect me.

02:19:16.000 I was the ultimate victim of violation.

02:19:19.000 I trusted my teacher, and I don't anymore.

02:19:22.000 I trusted the police, and I don't anymore.

02:19:25.000 I don't trust authority.

02:19:27.000 Nobody's here to help me.

02:35:07.000 I mean, we've got, we had the NDAA a few years ago where everybody was initially alarmed because they were going to be locking people up with the military without charging anybody of any crime, but now we've got Wesley Clark floating the trial balloons, we've got McCall putting out a violent extremism bill where they're going to have FEMA camps, you know, looking, they're going to have the Department of We have FEMA under Homeland Security looking at people trying to sort out who may become a problem in the future.

02:35:34.000 Now we see this in Pennsylvania.

02:35:35.000 They're going to be the first state in the country to base criminal sentences not only on what crimes people have been convicted of, but whether they're deemed likely to commit additional crimes.

02:35:45.000 You know, I know you don't mean to do this, but your delivery killed me.

02:35:50.000 I was listening to you read a real story and I'm laughing.

02:35:54.000 Well hey, the government announced whether you're going to lock people up before they've committed the crime.

02:35:58.000 And you're reading this, and I'm laughing, I'm thinking, this isn't, this isn't a joke.

02:36:03.000 You know, David, in 2010, I had talked about this and I believe Alex did as well.

02:36:11.000 The Brits, because always look to the UK first, always look to Europe first, that's the beta test, that's where they figure these things out, that's the laboratory.

02:37:03.000 Anyway, it's one thing to say this particular area, Precinct 5, has a high burglary rate, and New York did it with Comstat and a variety of other things.

02:37:13.000 Now that, Now, a while back, you may not remember this one, when sex offenders, rapists and the worst of the worst, were given a sentence, let's say you're given 25 years for life, and a defendant Was sentenced and absolutely did every last day of it.

02:37:39.000 And you can have post-release, no probation or whatever.

02:37:41.000 But, they started to say, you know...

02:37:45.000 There are people who by virtue of what we've learned and their behavior might continue to commit rape based upon what they've said, I'm going to rape again or what have you.

02:37:56.000 Let's keep them in jail or in prison. 0.99

02:38:00.000 And I thought, wait a minute, hold it.

02:38:03.000 No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

02:38:04.000 You can't do that.

02:38:05.000 Either charge him again, wait, I know this is a tough thing, you gotta wait until they commit a crime, for people to say, oh you don't understand.

02:38:14.000 That's a novel idea.

02:38:17.000 This was real, is it?

02:38:18.000 You don't understand.

02:38:19.000 The recidivism rate is up.

02:38:21.000 Yes, I understand this.

02:38:22.000 And by the way, you're showing this minority report.

02:38:24.000 Every time I watch a TV show, I can't believe it.

02:38:27.000 TV show or movie, I'm watching either the future or I'm using it as a reference.

02:38:33.000 My wife and I watch Mayberry all the time and cry because I'm thinking it really was that way.

02:38:40.000 So what's happened is, and let me just explain this.

02:38:42.000 When you train an animal, I'm a psych major.

02:38:45.000 I'm an amateur psychologist and a self-appointed TV expert on virtually any subject.

02:38:51.000 But what happens is you do systematic approximation.

02:38:55.000 When you train your dog or your cat or whatever, you give them a little bit.

02:39:00.000 And a little bit more.

02:39:02.000 And you acclimate.

02:39:03.000 You habituate.

02:39:05.000 You have this sense where that these stimuli are not novel anymore.

02:39:10.000 So we start off with Crush in 2010.

02:39:14.000 We start off with another story of keeping people in who are rapists.

02:40:04.000 And we can go back and we can look at how many nonviolent criminals are that are locked up right now in our prisons.

02:40:10.000 I remember when they started instituting these mandatory minimums under Ronald Reagan, and they were having to let out violent criminals so they could lock up non-violent pot users.

02:40:22.000 And that was going on for quite some time.

02:40:23.000 They said, don't worry, don't worry, we'll build a lot more prisons.

02:40:25.000 And they did.

02:40:26.000 And now they have prisons where they have contracts with the government.

02:40:30.000 They have a guaranteed occupation rate.

02:40:33.000 They get prison labor that is heavily subsidized.

02:40:36.000 They have every incentive to keep these people in.

02:40:39.000 You're looking at this from a legal standpoint, Lionel.

02:40:41.000 I'm looking at it as a former computer engineer.

02:40:44.000 And I know that when they're going to use a model to determine if somebody's going to remain in prison, or whether they're going to send somebody to prison, I'm very frightened by that.

02:40:53.000 I mean, this is all boils down to, well, how good is their model?

02:40:56.000 You know, we got the garbage in, garbage out, everybody talked about with the computer.

02:41:00.000 I'm not impressed when I see a computer printout.

02:41:02.000 I know a lot of people are.

02:41:03.000 If you get a computer to pop up and answer, then that's it.

02:41:06.000 You know, the answer to life is 42, according to Deep Thought or whatever.

02:41:10.000 But I'm not impressed by that because it all depends on your assumptions and your model.

02:41:15.000 How good is your programming?

02:41:16.000 Who gets to make those assumptions?

02:41:18.000 Which corporations are we going to go with?

02:41:20.000 Are we going to go with the ones that greased the palms of the Senators the most?

02:41:23.000 Or the ones that have some kind of a, you know, a program that actually works?

02:41:27.000 But all that skirts, those pragmatic decisions that are really troublesome, skirt the whole issue of legality.

02:41:33.000 Do we want to have the presumption of innocence before we put somebody out?

02:41:36.000 Should they actually be convicted of a crime?

02:41:38.000 I mean, this is insane.

02:41:40.000 You know, I could speak to you forever.

02:41:43.000 Whatever you say, you inspire a new thought.

02:41:46.000 We have in this country this crazy idea called probable cause reasonable suspicion and the like, and it means simply this.

02:41:52.000 If I think, if I have, and we had it here in New York, I'll stop, question and frisk and stop and frisk and Terry, whatever it is.

02:41:59.000 Let's say you and I are in a car, cop car, late at night, and we say, see that guy over there?

02:42:05.000 Yeah, I think he's up to something.

02:42:07.000 Let's go stop him.

02:42:08.000 Wait a minute.

02:42:09.000 Can't do that.

02:42:10.000 We have no reasonable suspicion.

02:42:12.000 Not probable cause, reasonable suspicion.

02:42:14.000 That's what we do in this country. 1.00

02:42:16.000 Police can talk to you, we can arrest you, we can convict you, hell, we can even kill you! 0.99

02:42:45.000 How would you feel if this guy broke in here?

02:42:47.000 And you can almost hear it.

02:42:49.000 Mistrial because you don't talk about objectifying or translating something into this subjective understanding of the crime.

02:42:57.000 No, it's about proof and weighing the proof, not how you feel.

02:43:02.000 But it started with DUI checkpoints, started with drug testing.

02:43:07.000 Come forward, all you people that we've never suspected.

02:43:09.000 Come here, Mr. Knight, have a seat.

02:43:14.000 Well, to disprove something I've never accused you, nor have I ever, ever thought you You ever violated.

02:43:41.000 So little by little, again, More acclimation, more conditioning, more habituation, more getting used to this idea, and more of an acceptance that probable cause, reasonable suspicion, all of these precursors don't really apply anymore.

02:44:01.000 So that's what we're doing also in this scheme of things.

02:44:06.000 You know, it's one thing when you are a public carrier, you're a bus driver.

02:44:10.000 And by the way, I've got to say this about drug testing.

02:44:14.000 I never understood something, which is normally a urine test.

02:44:18.000 That detects whether I've come into contact with something 30 days ago, two weeks ago.

02:44:25.000 Hell, if you're going to do a test of a guy driving a bus, do a blood test.

02:44:30.000 I mean, if you're going to have to.

02:44:31.000 So we have completely eliminated the idea of the police ever having problems with blood.

02:44:40.000 By the way, you ever seen this?

02:44:42.000 They pick up the phone.

02:44:43.000 Mr. Knight, yeah.

02:44:44.000 Listen, this is Detective Gil Hooley.

02:44:47.000 We want you to come down to the station.

02:44:49.000 All right, I'll be there.

02:46:08.000 It's just amazing today, as you're pointing out, the lack of the presumption of even innocence.

02:46:12.000 I mean, it started out really, it used to be That it was only the IRS we had to prove that, you know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you were innocent of doing any of this stuff.

02:46:22.000 Then we moved to the drug situation.

02:46:25.000 Now we're moving to the war on terror.

02:46:27.000 And it just, everybody has been conditioned progressively to accept the fact that we don't have any presumption of innocence anymore.

02:46:35.000 It's absolutely amazing, but that's how they moved the Overton window.

02:46:38.000 Well, you know, let me ask you this, you know, when I was a Prosecutor, the case, well what I learned right away was, you know when you put somebody in prison, you know jail's bad enough.

02:46:51.000 Don't forget prison is over a year over, jail is up to a year.

02:46:54.000 But when you put somebody in prison, you better hope to God they don't come out worse, which they often do.

02:47:01.000 But here's what I would say.

02:47:03.000 90%, if I were a judge and I did not have mandatory minimums or sentencing guidelines or three strikes you're out, habitual felony offenders and all those weird statutes, 9 out of 10 people, with the exception of really serious stuff, I put them on probation.

02:47:16.000 Probation is really effective. 0.83

02:47:17.000 Probation is a pain in the arse, as some would say, and it allows you to maintain going to work You know, maintaining for your family. 0.94

02:47:27.000 A lot of times, it really, the amount of recidivism, probation works like a charm, but it's considered to be weak in this country. 0.98

02:47:38.000 Now, the people I do, if I were the judge, I take you off of the street, not as a punishment.

02:47:47.000 You know, penal poena for lack of punishment. 0.99

02:47:51.000 I take you off the street to protect society.

02:47:58.000 It doesn't teach you.

02:47:59.000 You know, in the old days, David, there was the idea of the penitentiary.

02:48:06.000 We was the reform school.

02:48:08.000 You know, it was the penitentiary.

02:48:11.000 We wanted to teach you something, pay your debt to society.

02:48:15.000 You know, the idea that you would come, go in and come out better. 0.99

02:48:21.000 When the sentencing guidelines came along in the 70s or 80s, the first thing they wrote in many of the state statutes was, it is not rehabilitation that is not our goal. 0.75

02:48:36.000 And what happens is you take people and after you let them out, they can't get a job, can't get credit, they can't do anything.

02:48:45.000 You've destroyed them.

02:55:10.000 It remains to be seen if we're going to have anything of any substance, but I think it'll be very entertaining.

02:55:16.000 Well, you know, years ago, um, you might remember this, one of my favorite shows on television was SCTV, Second City Television.

02:55:23.000 There was a character named Vic Hedges who ran for mayor, and his motto was, Vic Hedges, sure he's crazy, but what if he's right?

02:55:33.000 I, by the way, every, this is a God's honest truth, every presidential election race, I write in my own name, telling the ballots.

02:56:21.000 In many respects, Donald Trump is my new hero because the professional left mainstream media, the Jon Stewart and others, can't believe that their dislike means nothing.

02:56:38.000 I've seen some things that he's had to say that I agree with in print.

02:56:45.000 He might be doing that in the debates as we see this come up.

02:56:57.000 And the same thing with Donald Trump.

02:56:59.000 He had a period where he gave a lot more money to the Democrats, he had his blue period, and then he went into a rose period, a red period about five years ago, where he stepped up his contributions and gave almost exclusively to Republicans.

02:57:11.000 So when you go back and you look at PolitiFact, they say, well, that's not true, he's given more money to Republicans than he did to Democrats.

02:57:17.000 That is if you average it over 26 years, but in the last, and that's mainly because the last five years he's really stepped it up.
