01:07:40.000 But the previous administration lifted these sanctions just before what would have been the total collapse of the Iranian regime through the deeply controversial 2015 nuclear deal with Iran.

01:07:58.000 This deal is known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or JCPOA.

01:08:06.000 As I have said many times, the Iran deal was one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into.

01:08:17.000 The same mindset that produced this deal is responsible for years of terrible trade deals that have sacrificed so many millions of jobs In our country, to the benefit of other countries.

01:08:34.000 We need negotiators who will much more strongly represent America's interests.

01:08:41.000 The nuclear deal threw Iran's dictatorship a political and economic lifeline, providing urgently needed relief from the intense domestic pressure the sanctions had created.

01:08:55.000 It also gave the regime an immediate financial boost, and over $100 billion its government could use to fund terrorism.

01:09:07.000 The regime also received a massive cash settlement of 1.7 billion dollars from the United States.

01:09:16.000 That was secret and illegal.

01:09:17.000 A large portion of which was physically loaded onto an airplane and flown into Iran.

01:09:24.000 Just imagine the sight of those huge piles of money being hauled off by the Iranians waiting at the airport for the cash. 1.00

03:54:37.000 Yes, because you're discriminating against a gender-based category of sports supporters, namely female sports supporters. 1.00
