03:51:26.000 And if you get to home base, the cop isn't allowed to tag you anymore.

03:51:32.000 So you'll get the police officer trying to pull someone out of the car.

03:51:36.000 I saw a video recently with this one.

03:51:38.000 Pulling a guy out of the car and he's like, no, I'm home.

03:51:41.000 I'm home.

03:51:42.000 I'm home.

03:51:43.000 Thinking that means anything.

03:51:46.000 It doesn't.

03:51:47.000 A cop can absolutely pull you out of your car right there in your driveway.

03:51:52.000 As a matter of fact, he doesn't want you running into your house because he doesn't know what you had on you that you might get rid of, what's in the house that you might pick up, or who else is in the house that might now outnumber him out there waiting in the driveway.

03:52:09.000 So a police officer will give you a lawful order to stop Either stay in your car or get out of your car.

03:52:18.000 And when he tries to put the handcuffs on you, he does not need to explain why you're being detained at that moment.

03:52:25.000 Everyone also thinks that, this is an amazing thing I see, their friends must tell them this and they take it as gospel.

03:52:32.000 That a police officer has to tell you why you're being arrested right there before they put the cuffs on.

03:52:38.000 Before the cop puts the cuffs on.

03:52:41.000 They think he has to tell you why you're being arrested, and if he doesn't, you have the right to resist arrest.

03:52:52.000 This guy got pulled over in front of his house by the cop for, I believe it was a taillight problem.

03:53:04.000 He went to get out of the car.

03:53:07.000 Since he's in the driveway, the cop ordered him to stay in the vehicle.

03:53:11.000 He would not stay in the vehicle.

03:53:12.000 He's yelling at him to get back in.

03:53:13.000 This is before the video takes place.

03:53:15.000 The cop then assesses the situation, looks, and then asks him to get out of the vehicle.

03:53:22.000 And the comments I read were, well, they're asking him to stay in, get out, what do they want him to do?

03:53:27.000 You know what they want him to do?

03:53:28.000 Whatever the hell he's asking at that moment.

03:53:31.000 And when he's asking him to get out of the vehicle, that's when he should have gotten out of it.

03:53:35.000 There's no winning resisting the cops when you're Being pulled over.

03:53:44.000 And like I said, a lot of these simple stops, they're nothing, lead to physical altercations and arrests.

03:53:52.000 Don't think you're a lawyer.

03:53:53.000 Don't think you know your rights.

03:53:55.000 Don't think once you get home you're safe.

03:53:57.000 It doesn't work like that.

03:53:59.000 And when the cop gives you a lawful order, you have to obey it.

03:54:02.000 If he's going to arrest you, he doesn't have to tell you why he's arresting you at that moment.

03:54:06.000 He doesn't have to read you your rights while he arrests you.

03:54:10.000 If he's cuffing you, it doesn't necessarily mean you're under arrest.

03:54:13.000 He could detain you at that time.

03:54:15.000 These are all things they don't seem to have any concept of when you see these videos.

03:55:36.000 And the only thing that saved him was an hour, almost two hour long body cam video that showed he did nothing but act professional during that stop and never tried to reach under her skirt, tell her that if she had sex with him that he would let her off the hook.

03:56:01.000 There was another one that a woman from a TV show, can't remember which one it is, she said that her son was racially profiled and harassed during a traffic stop.

03:56:14.000 The officer could not have been nicer.

03:56:16.000 Spelt out what was going on, gave the man a citation, went back to his vehicle, traffic stop over.

03:56:24.000 We're seeing a lot of these accusations coming about that are absolutely false.

03:56:30.000 And this isn't something like, this happens and then you could start a GoFundMe, or you're a pastor in a church so you get a bigger following, which means more money.
