03:54:25.000 They have a debt-to-GDP ratio of about 300.

03:54:28.000 The United States is hovering around 100.

03:54:34.000 Their debt, 22 years ago, total, was about $500 billion.

03:54:45.000 If you're interested in where the economies are going, and by the way, there's a global slowdown.

03:54:52.000 If you look, I read these numbers all the time coming out of Germany with Europe.

03:55:01.000 As the dollar gets stronger, because they're raising interest rates, that's why you're seeing gold prices go down.

03:55:13.000 But all that money that was borrowed by those emerging markets, when the dollar was cheap, their currencies are going down.

03:55:31.000 Going back to the stock markets, all this merger and acquisition activity, AT&T, this one, that one, the mountains of debt that they are acquiring to do these deals, they have to pay it back.

03:55:51.000 When interest rates go up, and they have to pay it back with more money, and they're not making that kind of profit, huh?
