02:08:48.000 You know, we have a southwest border that's made up of nine sectors, right?

02:08:53.000 border with Mexico, and all of those nine sectors are dealing with something very different.

02:08:58.000 Some of those sectors have multiple things they're dealing with.

02:09:01.000 Every 40 miles is different, right?

02:09:03.000 And what the Border Patrol agents deal with, and what the Mexican cartels are trying to do, and the way that the Mexican cartels operate.

02:09:10.000 So we, in Texas, we have several sectors.

02:09:13.000 We have the Rio Grande Valley sector, the Laredo sector, and the Del Rio sector.

02:09:19.000 That's all the ones against the coast, right, going from east to west.

02:09:22.000 And we're dealing with Los Zetas and the Gulf Cartel. 0.99

02:09:26.000 And those are really the most brutal cartels along the border, across the entire US-Mexico border, because of the way that they do business.

02:09:34.000 So it's very important, and it's very good that you're having your listeners, that you're talking about this and that you're bringing me on to talk about it, because we really do have threats, not only to us, But even liberals who are constantly worried about the migrants and constantly worried about Mexico, well it turns out what's currently happening, not only does it hurt us, but it also hurts Mexico.

02:10:06.000 Is it allowing the lawlessness that goes back and forth from Central America to North America into the U.S.?

02:10:18.000 So, in Mexico, you have organized criminal circles or networks, right?

02:10:23.000 And the cartel, the drug dealing part, is just one small part of that criminal network.

02:10:30.000 Well, that criminal network, in the case of Los Zetas and the Gulf Cartel, they make as much or more from illegal immigration than they make from narcotics.

02:10:42.000 So they're actually, you could call them drug cartels, or you could call them illegal immigration cartels, or migrant trafficking cartels.

02:10:50.000 So what happens is, these networks have power in Mexico.

02:10:54.000 They have so much power that they have someone who works in all of the news outlets.

02:10:59.000 That person in the news outlet is called the link, and that link Tells them it works for the cartel and tells them what they can and can't write about which politicians they can support Which crimes they can write about which crimes they can't write about who to blame for those crimes So the media it's almost like you when we talk about governmental control or we talk about We look at the former Soviet Union, right?

02:11:23.000 And they had the communist minders and all the news outlets and in all the media places That's what they live under they live under abject oppression.

02:11:30.000 So anything that fuels and fun Those networks, the people, is in fact contributing to that oppression.

02:11:38.000 And so when we allow, when we say, oh this is horrible, this is happening, and we allow millions of people to come here, or tens of thousands each summer to come here, roughly 10,000 per week, 7 to 10,000 per week, all of those people If they don't have the money to pay Los Etos at the Gulf Cartel right away, they get into indentured servitude and they make agreements to keep paying those cartels every week or two through Orlandi-Veluta or through Western Union, but they keep paying those cartels money for 10 years.

02:12:14.000 And then that gives the cartels a beachhead here, and I'm not a rocket scientist on this, but if Soros and the UN can open up Latin America and crush the Mexican border, we won't just have a Mexican problem of illegals and drugs and human smuggling and these people being in district servants.

02:12:30.000 Now it'll be ten times bigger and can all be managed and controlled, and then we'll build even bigger cartel bases inside El Norte.

02:12:39.000 Well, so we have a major problem, and the problem is that basically it sucks to live in Mexico, in parts of Mexico. 0.64

02:21:37.000 But what we do is we go and we allow journalists there and cops there and others there who care, we allow them to write under a pseudonym and to share photos and to write about the corruption, to write about who's doing what, and we publish that in English and Spanish.

03:21:32.000 In reading through it, just getting to a point, many agree that the elections could create fresh winners and losers in the market.

03:21:41.000 Manufacturers and construction firms could get a boost if a divided Congress can come to an agreement on infrastructure spending, while banks stand to lose if a democratic suite leads to a halt In deregulation.

03:21:59.000 All right, so let's look at the deregulation issue here.

03:22:03.000 There's deregulation and it's a positive one in the elements that the small banks have really been hit hard with the Dodd-Frank amendments that were put in following the panic of 08.

03:22:17.000 The big banks just got bigger.

03:22:19.000 So it's not going to hurt them at all.

03:22:22.000 And as far as infrastructure spending, It's not going very fast or very much.

03:22:28.000 That's not going to have a big play on the equity markets.

03:22:41.000 History suggests the stock market will fare well no matter who wins on Tuesday.

03:22:49.000 The S&P 500 has risen in the year after every midterm election Since 1946, according to brokerage and advisory firm Strategus, analysts attributed this to investors redeploying funds kept on the sidelines ahead of the elections, as well as the market's tendency to climb throughout history.

03:23:28.000 So all of this, where the market's going, what's going to happen, you can see what's going to happen and you can look at the markets now.

03:23:37.000 They're up over 200 points, the Dow as we speak.

03:23:42.000 The ones to really watch and where the world economy is going is what's going on in China, man. 0.94

03:23:50.000 That Shanghai Index, man, the composite index, it's down Beyond bear territory, bear territory where they're hanging out at like 20% down, they're down over 30.

03:24:02.000 And it just keeps getting worse.

03:24:04.000 President Xi of China just came out today to encourage the country that things were going to get better.

03:24:14.000 There is a lot of talk that the Chinese are devaluing their currency purposely so they could export more product.

03:24:22.000 We disagree with that.

03:24:24.000 We don't see that at all.

03:24:26.000 For two reasons.

03:24:28.000 Number one is imports.

03:24:31.000 They import a lot of product.

03:24:33.000 And if their currency goes down, it costs them more to buy that stuff.

03:24:38.000 Yes, as the currencies go down, you can buy their stuff cheaper.

03:24:42.000 If your dollar gets stronger, which it has.

03:24:45.000 But, let's look at the entire situation in China.

03:24:51.000 80% of China's gross domestic product Is by that 1.3 billion people spending money.

03:25:03.000 Consumers.

03:25:04.000 Here in the States, it's about two-thirds.

03:25:07.000 So they don't want to see this thing go down, but it's going down.

03:25:11.000 You're looking at direct infrastructure investment in China?

03:25:16.000 1992 levels.

03:25:18.000 That's right.

03:25:18.000 1996, the total debt was, just to put it into perspective, It was about $500, $600, $900 billion.

03:25:28.000 Today, it's over $30 trillion.

03:25:32.000 China is the big issue here, as well as the emerging markets that are submerging.

03:25:38.000 The United States is doing better than virtually any country, and of course, of all the major countries.

03:25:44.000 We're number one when it comes to the stock markets and the growth in the economy.

03:25:50.000 Of course, a lot of it has to do with the stock buybacks that boosted the markets up, and they keep accelerating, along with the tax cuts that made that happen.

03:26:00.000 But looking at China is the big issue to look at.

03:26:03.000 The gross domestic product grew this last quarter at its slowest rate since 2009.

03:26:10.000 The panic of 2008, 2009, things were not so cheery.

03:26:14.000 2009, things were not so cheery.

03:26:18.000 So, going back to the United States and the midterms, we don't think it's going to have much effect on the

03:26:27.000 markets at all, regardless of who wins tomorrow.

03:26:31.000 The other factor being that it's bigger than that.

03:26:41.000 So here's what we have to say about that.

03:26:44.000 Trump will still be president.

03:26:47.000 And we think there's going to be more and more pressure from President Trump on the Federal Reserve to keep interest rates down.

03:26:57.000 Can the president have that power?

03:27:00.000 Well, you saw what happened with Paul Volcker, right?

03:27:10.000 Just came out with his new book.

03:27:13.000 He had to meet with President Reagan and Chief of Staff James Baker at the White House.

03:27:26.000 But they brought him into the library, he said, because they didn't think it was taping anything there.

03:27:39.000 You have an order from the president not to raise interest rates.

03:27:45.000 Before election day, remember, Paul Volcker It's a Federal Reserve chair.

03:27:51.000 Treasury Secretary, Mnuchin, whoever it is at the time, could fire the Fed chair.

03:28:00.000 So going back to the economy in the midterm elections, we don't believe that it's going to make much difference who wins tomorrow, because the power of the presidency Still remains in Trump's hands.
